BAPHOMET

Demon born of dedication to a baleful god from the unholy union of a girl and a crow. It delights in drinking the lifeblood of humans. Depending on the time of day, it can transform its body into that of a beautiful young woman or a pheasant; but its clawed hands remain the same.

AMPHISBAENA

From Ethiopian folklore comes this two-headed snake. Bites from its right head contain a deadly poison, causing certain death. But should its victim cry tears of supplication, a detoxifying bite from the left head can cure them.

ITSUMADE

The soul of a footman who was killed in battle and took on the appearance of a carrion fly. While calling out, "Itsumade...", it will attempt to curse you with a similar likeness; preventing this requires immense skill. If you look at its hideous face, it will haunt you until your dying day.

TSUNEMOTOMUSHI

The spirit of maggots welled up from the corpse of a villain called Tsunemoto, who was executed four hundred years ago. Millions of Tsunemotomushi spring forth to swarm the execution grounds on a regular basis.

FUTTACHI

An ant that has lived in the bushy undergrowth for over one hundred years has since changed into a being called a Futtachi. This Futtachi holds a grudge from when it was an ant, burned under a magnifying glass, and gained a huge body so that it may prey on humans.

RASETSU

A parasitic devil with the appearance of a worm that resides in the brains of cattle. Because it defiles sacred cows, it was driven from India by Hindu mystics. Rasetsu always pushes its host's body to the very limit.

HOUSOUGAMI

A bringer of plagues and diseases, it simultaneously possesses the knowledge to cure any disease it has spread. In exchange for cures, this baleful, insidious spirit requests offerings of liquor and women.

NUCKELAVEE

Faithful watchdog of the false god. Eons ago, in service to its master, it rebelled against the chief god and was duly punished; the flesh stripped from his body. It bears an extreme vulnerability to salt water. Savoring the pain that burns its body, it lives in the sea.

SHICHIFUKUJIN

So as for now, they are good with Wukong being the little spoon. Both bc Wukong is the the one who constantly craves for touch amd bc Macaque feels more comfortable in a position of "control" let's say. He can decide how much closer or not to get to Wukong.

Then in the future they would be more comfortable to switch (and the bicker about who should be the big or small)

so fun fact about me is that I got into comics by reading the wikipedia summaries. I was in like highschool and really liked teen titans and young justice and was like I want more! but there are so many comics and it was very intimidating so I just read the fandom wiki on the characters I liked and then followed links from there. For years I’ve treated the wiki as the source material + shows, movies, and fandom osmosis. And I considered myself a pretty big Batman fan… while never having read a Batman comic. 

Well I’ve got some time now and have decided NO MORE! No longer shall I be a fake fan! I’m going to actually read the stuff I claim to be a fan of! And I figured live blogging it might be fun.

B5 season 2 9-12

Side note: I was browsing the wiki and saw a mention of the fact that Narns shed their skins. This seems like something which should be explored in fic, just sayin'.

The Coming of Shadows: SAD. I'M SAD. These old men should be at the club, not carefully curating their grand tragedy.

ANYWAY. Fascinating how G'Kar's shenanigans are still often played for comedy here, even though if he'd succeeded in the assassination I don't think his disclaimer that he was acting alone would really have worked... Maybe it would have, I don't know. Going by this and what was said last season about the Centauri not having the will to destroy Quadrant 37, I get the impression that the Narn have been somewhat relying on Centauri reluctance to go to war over the pushing of boundaries (not that assassinating the emperor is a 'push' rather than a detonation). But the emperor and his in-circle seems to have been the source of much of that hesitation. It was being read as weakness, by both G'Kar and Londo, and given what the emperor says about never making any choices until now, maybe it actually was! Still, I've seen some meta talking about how in some ways G'Kar is lucky--he suffers more than enough, but most of the time it's not his own wrongs which cause it. He was lucky he didn't get a chance to go through with the assassination, because ultimately getting his own people destroyed, ruining the chance for peace--that would have been the worst version of his fate. At the same time--he's so easily turned off that path here. A second-hand apology is all it took for a change of heart. Most of my thoughts on G'Kar and forgiveness rely on knowledge of future plots, so I'll just say that he shows a surprising capacity for it here despite everything up to this point, and that it's interesting that even acts of restitution don't work until wrongdoing is openly admitted.

Londo, though--his plans are played utterly without humour this time. I'm a little surprised they even had Vir in the room while they plotted--I'm assuming that Londo must have confirmed his loyalty or else Refa would have objected. And Vir, despite begging Londo not to do this, is thus made complicit. I don't think he's going to get any satisfaction out of the eventual 'I told you so'. And Londo doubts and regrets and nonetheless refuses to be turned from the path he's on. His little 'Take my people back to the stars' echoes his 'what I want' speech to Morden, but everyone in the room knows it was a hollow lie.

Also, his shock when G'Kar comes to him with the offer of possible friendship--gah. It's like that's the first time it's occurred to him that the circumstances of the death dream, the eternal cycle of blood he's assumed between the Narn and the Centauri, isn't just automatic--his own choices contribute to it rather than just reflect it. He can't tell himself it was all inevitable, and he realises that at the exact moment the war has now become impossible to take back.

ALSO, the death dream vision--giving him the scary lighting and the harshest moments! Never trust a prophecy that puts the torch under its chin, Londo!

G'Kar crying in a heap on the floor TnT. His outbursts until now have generally been played either as comic or at least slightly villainous, but this... I did love Sheridan's reaction. (It sometimes feels, so far, like Sheridan is the only one on this damn station who ever attempts de-escalation.) He and G'Kar have a cool dynamic, which we see again at the end when G'Kar thanks him.

Without the Shadows in the background, the emperor's apology really might have turned things around. If it had happened a little earlier, even in this timeline, maybe Londo would have made different choices. It's not like he's not had plenty of warning, but I think the tragedy of G'Kar's 'he betrayed me' is perhaps partly that it had all already happened. That olive branch might have worked after all if the timing hadn't been wrong.

Too late now! Londo is fully committed to fucking up!

GROPOS: Predictably less to say here. It was a good episode! Franklin has tended to get some mixed quality in his focus episodes, so it's nice that his part of this one was satisfying. It built his relationships with Susan and Sheridan as well as with his father, which was great. The main plot set up the ripple effects of the Narn/Centauri war and was a decent reflection on the costs of such things.

All Alone in the Night: There's inevitably a nostalgic feeling to watching a thirty-year-old show, even if you didn't catch it the first time round, and my main reaction to this episode is that Baby!Perry would have gone nuts for it. I was obsessed with Stargate SG1 when I was about nine or ten, and I LOVED the episodes when someone got whumped. (Especially Jack. Early edition blorbo.) This reminded me very much of back then. I appreciate Sheridan's commitment to keeping his new Narn friend alive, his resourcefulness and his determination. I thought the episode did a really good job showing the ways he isn't just a hard-nosed jarhead type before we found out those nuances of his character were a key part of why he's been chosen for his job.

Also, while the station has always felt well-developed in a world-building sense, the little lighthearted transition scenes in this season have brought that to life beautifully. I mean, if you see a non-regular in one of these scenes, you do suspect they're going to die sharpish, but still, it makes the friendships between the characters feel strong and natural.

Acts of Sacrifice: STOP MAKING MY ORANGE KANGAROO REPTILE MAN CRY. That's twice in four episodes! (I know they won't stop.)

The Centauri justification for firing on civilians was unpleasantly realistic. Londo not even being there, being out trying to capture the connections he's traded in for a respect he's not even enjoying--it's genuinely sad, but it's also contrasted against the cost in a way that really shows how selfish his concerns still are.

We're still at a very 'both sides' stage, although the framing of the Narns and Centauri is shifting in interesting ways. G'Kar's challenger and his followers come off pretty badly, but the Narn in the opening scene are out-and-out heroes, and the Narn who dies attacking the Centauri who just beat him up feels genuinely like a tragic waste--whereas that Centauri gets murdered and I doubt anyone in the audience cares any more than Londo does. (Earth really needs to invent some kind of non-lethal weapons. I know a big metal pole can very much be deadly, but given the way the gropos were treated a few episodes ago for getting in massive brawls, it's a little jarring to see the Narn shot down so easily. Even a taser or something might have worked. And they should have at least arrested the Centauri who were involved too.)

The Lumati plot, while often funny, had some gut-punches. Them talking about being inspired by humans and Downbelow to segregate the 'inferiors' in their own kind--ouch. I like how strongly marked the themes of moral compromise in diplomacy are in both sides of the episode.

G'Kar getting lectured, sometimes fairly, sometimes less so, biting his tongue, fighting his own people, getting poisoned and pretending it's fine, thanking Delenn and Sheridan for the aid they can give, then going and cry-laughing in the corridor--ow, ow, ow. I really like how it's framed as a kind of third-option triumph of hope and morality against bad orders in Sheridan's part of the episode, and on G'Kar's side it's so completely inadequate...Then there's Londo, with his own wish for friends so painful in its simplicity, and him getting a diminished and temporary version in the end too. 'The Narns are falling before us. [...] What else does one need?' What indeed? OW.

(The modesty of his own real desire, compared to everything he's layered on top of it, reminds me a lot of how small and simple the apology that overwhelmed G'Kar was in TCoS. Gah!)

The blue fox goes back and forth. It goes back and forth, stepping on flowers of azami. They were the flowers of azami (it stepped on), so their spikes would have been stuck in its tender soles. It must be in pain. It waits (for one), but (the one) does not come. Four hours after moonrise, its thin shadow is getting thinner and shorter. Will (the one) no longer come? To find reliable information on alter/nonhumanity, I recommend the Youtube channel of therian territory and pink dolphin, I find it very interesting.

You can also search the therian wiki/otherkin wiki/alterhuman wiki, but take this information with a grain of salt, as some information may be wrong, missing, or even completely invented. But generally it's pretty decent.

Therian guide is also a nice source.

For tips, know that I'm a feline therian, so I have more tips for felines, but I'll do my best for the rest :3

⚝Tips for mourning dove :

Put a blanket on your back and hold the ends with your hands to simulate wings (a classic)

Make or buy a shawl with feather patterns, I've already seen some crocheted ones on tumblr, it's gorgeous.

If you can, try to climb a tree (be careful though) or something high up.

Try vocals! You can try making bird calls(There are many tutorials on YouTube)!

Listen to nature sounds (especially bird chirping) by going outside, or indoors by listening to nature soundtracks on Spotify, for example.

Go outside to a windy place, close your eyes and imagine yourself flying.

Wears clothes with wide sleeves, which can resemble wings.

⚝Tips for whitetail deer:

Try deer vocals!

Focus on your sense of smell, and smell all the little odors that are barely visible in your environment (to be done in nature, if possible)

Learn the body language of white-tailed deer!

Gently tap your fingers on a hard surface to imitate a hoof sound

White-tailed deer are most active at dawn and dusk, you may be able to walk during these hours, if you can (be careful, be accompanied if possible). They usually rest during the day, so you could take advantage of this time to have a little nap!

⚝Tips for felines:

Practice purring, growling, meowing, (yes, even big cats can purr, although it's a little different than for cats)

Hunt for stuffed animals before eating and imagine eating what you hunted.

Create your own paper claws, it's easy to do and you'll find various tutorials everywhere.

Do your makeup to look like a feline (you don't have to cover your whole face, a little eye shadow under your nose, a line in the small hollow that connects your nose to your mouth and black on the the lower lip can be really euphoric)

Take care of your hair! Don't forget it's your fur.

Climb high (without putting yourself in danger and without doing things your body can't handle), because cats generally feel safer up high.

"claim" your territory! It can be in your garden/house or in a public place (just don't forget that in the latter case this land does not officially belong to you), It is very effective in satisfying one's territorial instincts.

⚝Tips for canines:

Makes canine vocals.

Canines often live in packs or groups, so try to spend more time with loved ones.

Try quadrobics if you can, but be sure to hydrate well and especially not to overdo it if you have arm, leg, heart, ect problems. It's normal that it hurts your fingers and joints a little and that it's difficult to find your balance, but it will pass with time. But if you really suffer a lot every time you try, don't insist, it's okay.

Wrap yourself in a blanket and imagine sleeping with your pack.

Take a nap outside if it's hot, it always feels good.

You can watch the movie "Wolves Walker", I haven't watched it myself yet but apparently it's very popular with canine therians (and many alterhumans in general).

Liao Zhai 聊斋 from Tencent 🐧 announced three more cast members today: He Shiyu, Gao Han and Song Zu'er. Starring Zhang Miao Yi and Chang Hua Sen. New posters.

A couple of hours ago, the production team announced three more cast members: He Shiyu, Gao Han and Song Zu'er. They are in the 4th of 6 stories, 《聂小倩》 Nie Xiaoqian.

I had the game, but it confused me and I didn't really know how to play it, but it seems like a ton of people really enjoy it :')

Hey Plum!

Sky is a really fun and beautiful game, but it is definitely a little confusing at first! Here's some general info, hopefully some of it will help you out! Feel free to read as much or little as you want :D

✧Physically playing the game

Sky's available on most devices, but recently they officially launched pc. I've only played the phone version for about 5 mins, but I think the computer is generally easier to navigate/control.

✧Goal

The goal of the game is to pass through the seven realms and their temples, and bring your light to the end. To avoid spoilers I won't go into the details, but the "end" of the game, is actually just the beginning. So don't feel like you have to figure out everything your first time through! There are many, many areas that branch off the main path, but the main storyline is almost always a straight shot :D If you get lost, you can honk and it should show you which way to go!

✧Spirits

In order to gain new expressions (emotes) you find lost spirits and follow their memories. This is technically optional to the main storyline, but helpful for communication. You can also gain cosmetics from spirits, such as their cape, hair, instrument and more! These cost candles or hearts.

If you ever have trouble finding spirits, there's a button in the menu that will basically put a lil thing above you saying: "hey! I need help finding spirits, help me if you're able" and other players can guide you by holding your hand :D

✧Wax/candles

Candles are the main currency of Sky, you make them by igniting red candles throughout the realms/burning darkness plants and collecting the wax. Placed white candles do not give you wax, they are purely for interaction.

✧Winged Light

These are how you power your cape! Winged light is attained from children of light (the really bright glowy guys) The more winged light you find, the further you'll be able to fly without needing to recharge your cape!

✧Cape/Flight/Light

Flying can be a little tricky at first, but just keep practicing! You and cape are made of light, so in order to recharge you need to stand near another source of warmth or light such as: Candles, butterflies, other players, or clouds. This also means that if you stand in the rain or oil too long, your light will go out!

✧Other players

Players will remain grey shadows until you light eachother, then you'll be able to see eachother's cosmetics and such! Using candles you can befriend other players.

The Teddy Bear - a Halsin build

“Nature's fury shall not be checked."

What else did you expect? Halsin is a Circle of the Moon Druid and is in Wild Shape pretty much the entire time. The closest thing Baldur's Gate 3 has to a tank build, he has a massive health pool and can goad enemies to attack him.

Gameplay Notes

Halsin can Wild Shape into a Cave Bear with an insanely high health pool that can multiattack, so put him on the front lines and start clawing at people. [I refuse to Wild Shape Halsin into anything but the Cave Bear, but if you use the normal Polar Bear shape, you can do Goading Roar, which will help make sure damage is redirected to Halsin and not other party members, filling more of the tank role]

Lore and Flavor

It’s relatively well known that Halsin was initially not planned as a companion, but was added at launch due to his popularity among players. This is one of the many ways that his story has changed from Early Access to launch, including the fact that he was initially at fault for Isobel’s death. This is an absolutely incredible post that details the Shadow Curse and the war against Ketheric [@mumms-the-word is amazing] (parts 1 and 2 are also awesome) that has insights into Halsin combined from relatively disparate sources in game, and I cannot recommend it enough.

The thing I want to talk most about is Sorrow, the glaive that’s found in the Hidden Vault of the Emerald Grove. The BG3 wiki says that the Druid Notebook, found near Halsin’s bed implies the glaive was Ketheric’s. Let me be clear in saying that many pieces of lore in this game are vague and open to interpretation, and I don’t know how universally held that belief is, but I think that there is absolutely no way that this glaive used to be Ketheric Thorm’s. I believe (like the author of the Tumblr post linked above) that Sorrow belonged to the previous archdruid of the Emerald Grove, that Halsin replaced him after his death, and that Halsin had to put his master’s shade to rest. [P.S., here’s some cool Early Access datamining about Halsin and the glaive!]

So why would Halsin carry the glaive, if it represents such painful, wretched memories to him? I think precisely because it represents the fall of the lands to the Shadow Curse, the death of his friends and mentors (and in a way, the death of the life he wanted for himself, based on how little he wishes to be an archdruid), and the responsibility he has to right the wrongs of the past. I cannot stop myself from imagining him preparing to join Tav at camp — to finally journey into the Shadow Cursed Lands after a century of guilt and grief — and feeling drawn to Sorrow once more.

Okay, okay. I know. Druids don’t have proficiency with glaives (although… the 2024 rules for DnD include the choice of a Primal Order, of which Warden provides proficiency with martial weapons and medium armor, so the world of weapons can be a druid’s oyster). I don’t mind the lack of proficiency, given the fact that this build just should not be making weapon attacks. Go into Wild Shape and slap some people around instead.

[random side note that’s unrelated to the build, but I was listening to Kid A while writing this, and Halsin is SO How to Disappear Completely to me. the dissonance? the lyrics? his life being definded by responsibility that he’s grown detached to, lost int he past? idkkkk it just hit different. maybe I’m unknowingly holding the Sorrow glaive and am filled with it’s emo-ness]

SHADOW HEARTS: FROM THE NEW WORLD (2005) - UNUSED MONSTERS

Please may I have a Blue exorcist headcanon of being a demon named Redfield and he is a evil, monstrous, demonic being, taking on a black ethereal form, his left hand has long claw-like fingers. When in a neutral state, his eyes glow white but turn an azure blue when he seems to be "happy" or "surprised" and turn a blazing fiery orange when he is "angry". It is unknown if this is his true form or not. Normally, he has a humanoid shape make of black smoke or shadow. But when he is angry, he has shadows acting as hair and has a skeletal face with flames billowing out of his eyes and mouth. It was mentioned that he was human once, but it is unknown what he looked like when he was.

Personality:

Despite being a powerful deity, Redfield is unable to leave the ruins of the building in daylight, although he is able communicate with those who have encountered him. Such is the case with Ginny Okumura and her brother even when out in the woods. Having been alone for long periods of time has made him lonely and desperate for other people to communicate with, so when Ginny and the others communicated with him, he became attached to them, becoming defensive when Ginny threatened to stop visiting him. He is very protective of people he considers to be his friends, as shown when he presumably murdered Cody to stop him from bullying Yukihiro (Yukihiro saw Cody's body impaled in a tree outside of his bedroom in the boys dorms and none of his familiars were acting right). In fact, he thinks he is doing Ginny and her loved ones favours through the incidents he has caused in Assiah, which he calls "gifts". He is extremely frightening..it was clear by how Yukihiro's tail literally stood up on ends like a frightened cat

As stated by Ginny, he often went a little too far and played too rough when they were children, which is what led to Jane's death.

Redfield has shown certain weaknesses.

• Cats: Cats are believed to be guardians against evil and are able to sense supernatural entities. He is not able to be near them without them knowing and Kuro did react violently to his presence.

Yukihiro had very poor sleep for a while and it broke Ginny's heart to see him so tired and unhappy..yes. Yukihiro hates Cody but no-one deserved to die..especially not like that.

Renzō Shima's relationship with Redfield and how dangerous he is..he had lost his younger sister Jane to Redfield years ago due to his "playing too rough" abilities..Redfield wasn't a friend or an ally..Kuro reacted quite violently to his presence and Redfield murdered Cody to stop him bullying Yukihiro and Yukihiro had nightmares about it for weeks.

Kuro's relationship with Redfield and how would he react to the incidents that Redfield saw as 'gifts'..murdering Cody, setting a snake on a teacher for going too hard on Yukihiro, a student being attacked by a bear..they weren't gifts..they either got people badly hurt or humiliated.

Rin definitely doesn’t think Redfield can be trusted. He doesn’t like him at all, he reminds Rin far too much of Satan.

Rin’s also constantly on high alert because of Kuro’s violent reaction to Renfield’s presence. Rin trusts Kuro’s judgement, especially with these sorts of things.

Standing up to people is certainly something Rin can understand and get behind but murdering someone? No, that’s crossing a line.

So yeah, Rin doesn’t think too highly of Redfield. The fact that the demon seems protective of those he chooses doesn't change that fact.

Yukio is firmly against Redfield, especially after the killing incident. There are good demons in the world (Yukio knows that first-hand) but Redfield is not one of them.

Now if we’re talking later series Yukio? That’s a different matter. He’s going to be seeking Renfield out to see if the demon can help him get stronger.

That’s the extent of their relationship though. Yukio holds no friendship towards Redfield and is constantly on his guard around the demon.

Generally, I don’t see Yukio as someone who’s going to be fond of Redfield, mostly due to his violent demon nature, something Yukio pushes against very strongly.

Oh, Shima’s just scared of Redfield. End of discussion. He already has to deal with normal demons, now he has to deal with this guy?

I think Shima would do his very best to avoid encounters with Redfield and he’ll try and keep those he cares about away from him as well.

I see Shima as someone who’s read a lot of romance novels and he’s seeing too many similarities between Redfield’s gift giving tendencies and some of the darker stories out there.

Sure, Shima understands giving presents to people he likes but something about the demon really just sets him on edge.

Kuro didn’t like Redfield from the very first moment he laid eyes on the demon. And that feeling isn’t going to change anytime soon.

In his eyes, Redfield is exactly the reason demons get the bad rep they do, even nice demons like himself.

Kuro will be on high guard whenever he’s around Redfield, especially if there are humans around. And if Redfield takes even one step out of line, he’s attacking.

I feel like Kuro would become a bit obsessed with Renfield. He claims it’s so that he can easily take down his opponent when the time comes.

Bon pretends he’s unaffected by Redfield but he’s internally quite freaked out that he was human once.

Bon’s terrified that the same thing could happen to him one day. He’s quite driven in his goals and his hatred of demons but the thought still haunts him.

But he’s very firmly holding onto the fact that Redfield is evil. Someone who has good in them doesn’t act the way that demon does.

That feeling is especially strong when Redfield goes too far. Bon’s got no qualms about taking the demon down.

Konekomaru finds Redfield intriguing. Oh, he doesn’t like him, that’s for sure. But he’s an interesting demon to study.

It’s not often one comes across a demon who becomes so attached to humans in such a manner.

Heck, before the Okumura brothers, Miwa didn’t think it was possible for a demon to have any sort of affection towards humans.

But this obsessive interest does scare Miwa quite a bit. He wants as little to do with the demon as possible to stay out of his list of favoured people.

Shiemi doesn’t like Redfield but she certainly feels bad for him. She knows what it’s like to be lonely.

She also understands being desperate for communication. Having said that, she’s not going to put herself in danger to make this harmful demon

But she definitely gets a bit freaked out about how easily attached Redfield is. She likes people like Rin who stay true to their friends but Redfield’s attachment is obsessive.

And the whole gift giving thing? That sends up warning flags even for someone as sheltered as Shiemi.

Much like Bon, Izumo is freaked out that Redfield was human once. That strikes a little too close to home considering the situation with her mother.

But, much like Shiemi, Izumo can understand his loneliness. She’s not going to do anything to alleviate those feelings but some small part of her feels bad for the demon.

Redfield giving gifts really sends chills up Izumo’s spine. She’s not a gracious gift receiver at the best of times and this is just all wrong.

Because cats are his weakness, Izumo’s going to be staying close to Kuro whenever she has to be around Redfield. It’s not that she’s scared! She just wants to keep Kuro company…

[Project 1 - Photogram] MY SEVEN DEADLY SINS

My photogram works are about my seven deadly sins which is inspired from the original 7 deadly sins - pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth (from Wiki).

WORK 1: OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER (OCD)

Back in high school, I used to arrange my pencils by color, length, and type in my pencil case. Even the slightest shift would drive me crazy. My need for order went beyond what I had imagined, and over time, it became more intense, gradually developing into OCD.

WORK 2: CONSUMERISM TRAP

I find myself buying accessories and ornaments to enhance my appearance. While taking care of my looks is a healthy habit, I sometimes feel trapped in the endless cycle of consumerism—constantly chasing after more, as if I need everything to feel complete.

WORK 3: GLUTTONY

There was a time when I ate an entire bag of cookies before even realizing what I was doing—just chewing mechanically, with no real awareness. This behavior worsens when I’m anxious or stressed, turning into a mindless escape rather than a source of enjoyment.

WORK 4: HOARDING DEPENDENCE

I have a habit of buying multiples of the same item, even when I don’t really need them. Hoarding gives me a sense of security and comfort, making me feel surrounded by abundance. At one point, I had more than 10 phone cases but only ever used three of all. In the end, it’s just a false sense of prosperity, creating unnecessary clutter.

WORK 5: ANXIETY

Anxiety has been a constant presence in my life, affecting everything from peer competition to the uncertainty about the future. When I couldn’t manage it, sleep disorders became a real struggle. I turned to medicines, earplugs, eye mask to help me sleep, but the creepiest part was realizing how even something as natural as sleep could be disrupted by social anxiety.

WORK 6: HYPOCRISY

90% of my smiles are fake. I know it probably looks so real, but most of the time, they’re not coming from the heart—they're just a way to keep up appearances, to show I’m presentable or to make the other person feel comfortable. My forced smiles are as fragile as the puzzle, ready to fall apart at the slightest crack.

WORK 7: OBSESSION

Obsession is the endless cycle of thoughts about someone just beyond my reach. Deep down, I know it’s no longer real, no longer meant to be, yet I still cling to it. I write love poems to relive emotions that were never truly there, until it turns into something almost morbid—a fixation on a feeling that doesn’t exist anymore.

[Reflection: Working with photograms]

Working with photograms has been the most exciting experiences I’ve had in photography. It’s completely different from digital photography—working in the darkroom and experimenting with light and shadows really brought me back to the core principles of photography. Unlike my classmates, my main interest in this project was exploring the unique transparency and textures of everyday objects. Some materials that seem soft and delicate, like ribbons and pom-poms, turned out to look incredible under the light.

My process started with testing all the objects I had, and from there, my project gradually developed into a theme based on those materials. The direction of my work kept evolving as I experimented, which made the process even more engaging. I loved the final results, especially the layered effect created by phone cases, the soft filtered look of packaging paper over an eye mask, and the unexpected textures of crumbled cookies. The biggest surprise, though, was the printed poem—getting paper to work in a photogram was tricky, but I finally figured out that placing it under glass was the key.

xvi stuff ( there will be spoilers ): nothing is concrete, just ideas. note that i did not finish the game; it wasn't my vibe. the last section i played was after joshua and clive reunite. i have not really watched the end fully - but i know of it from general osmosis, talking to friends, and seeing a little bit when listening my star on yt ( i wanted to hear what it sounded like lol ). so basically: i have to rely on wiki pages and people telling me stuff to know what is going on, thankies.

origin:

she is not from the planet that valisthea is based in. instead, comes from a distant star that consists of a population mostly comprised of wyverns, wyrms, dragons, drakes, etc. ( while not 1:1, a good amount of inspiration for them is taken from the dragonkin in ffxiv ).

the first of their kind was born from the 'tears of the moon' - or so they say. it is believed that the mother lune, the oldest of them all, was a solitary traveler of the stars before her tears spread over a moon as she flew past. the moon supposedly heard her pain, her loneliness, and it answered heart's desire by cracking like an egg and thousands of dragons spilt fourth onto the star it orbited. whether this story is true or not, no one knows.

all of her species are able to channel aether through their crystalline cores / 'hearts' ( star seeds ). however, some cores are stronger than others - serenity, being one of the most ancient, is known across the population for her strong ability to not only manipulate her own but generating enough aether for others to siphon from.

their own biology is ultimately their undoing as it leads to their people being driven to near extinction. they are invaded by another race for their cores, seeking to kill them and take their hearts as a power source ( you can insert any sm villain here as the invader, it doesn't matter - although i lean towards it being the black moon clan or shadow galactica ).

serenity runs away with her and her mate's last clutch of eggs for a chance at survival. the majority of them don't make the trip - and the ones that do, aren't strong enough to survive the atmosphere of a foreign planet which leaves her alone and mourning. ( *if potentially sticking with xiv lore, she would be able to produce eggs on her own so dragons of this world 'could' ultimately originate from her. although, they would have major differences between her/their ancestors due to the aether differences between their planets - they are born smaller, can't change form, etc. but again, don't know if i'm going with this. )

arrival:

if keeping with the 'dragons can go mad or become very depressed due to grief' theme in HW + time, and therefore emotions, serenity's grief for her people, her other children, her mate, etc. is shown in outright screams, distraught cries, before eventually over time, she's able to calm herself for it to show in the form of her people's preferred method of stories: a song. to non-dragonkin, they only hear her great roars as she traverses the skies but can't help but find it beautiful to hear but also incredibly sad to listen to. she's like this for years before ever getting 'better'.

the current, early civilization is terrified of her presence but also sort of revere her after she arrives: she's large enough to cast a shadow over entire continents when flying over them ( and also big enough to form one when she falls ). she big.

so when playing xvi, i kind of just assumed...ultima was an alien or there was a ffix type of thing going on BUT from reading the wiki they are....from the same...planet....but are time traveling??? um, okay. anyway! i would think this 'foreigner' immigrating to their planet and having children messes up their long-term plans so they would want her dead.

similar to how in canon where usagi can change her appearance via the disguise pen ( which imo, the power comes from the silver crystal and the pen is just a tool to use its power more easily ), serenity occasionally changes into a human to study them / see if they're worth living amongst. i could see her eventually revealing herself and gaining followers, people who feel her as holy even if the reality is that she's just an alien that happened to land there.

if building off @/madrites idea about the mothercrystals being connected to goddesses and later corrupted by ultima: there were originally eight mothercrystals. well guess what? there's…eight….sailor…..senshi ( when not counting usagi or chibs - which i don't because the latter has her own team ).

after she's been around them for years ( and by years, it's probably been hundreds of years ), what if a 'pact' is formed between her and humanity? friendships are forged throughout this time and as a sign of her trust, serenity allows eight women closest to her be blessed with the ability to borrow aether from her crystal/heart - just as long as no harm comes to her and her children. ultima in the back: lol, yea right binch

the ultimas ( is this plural??? idfk ) would attempt to kill her and technically succeeds, resulting in her 'fall' mentioned in the history tomes.

however, the eight 'goddesses' use their power together in order to revive her to fight against ultima. the use of pushing the limits of their borrowed power is at the cost of their lives - serenity's own aether completely overwhelms their bodies, the resulting aether burning through their bodies and bursting out - resulting in the mothercystals. each would be tainted by ultima and naming the mothercrystals after the fallen dragon is partially meant to be mocking serenity herself.

her physical corpse as a dragon is probably defiled by ultima in some way so she also couldn't be revived as she once was due to that. it shows a lot: she's not as large as she once was when she transforms and gets tired/weaker more easily than ever before.

when she wakes onto the newly formed land that would become valisthea, she 'runs away' ( b/c that's what she does best ).

up to the current story:

as the years pass, she travels to other continents as a nomad, never getting close to anyone and never staying too long. being attacked by ultima triggers a lot of trauma because of her home world being invaded. the only time she returns to valisthea is when a mothercrystal is destroyed out of respect for her former friends / allies. considering it was using her power that 'killed' them, she considers their deaths her fault.

gameplay wise she generally fights with spears / lances. she's old enough to have tried a little of everything but prefers those. greatswords would be her next best choice.

'job' wise she's not a dragoon ( ironically ). conceptually she's similar to a dark knight but she doesn't use actual dark elemental powers though. she still uses light-based attacks - it just also drains her health and makes her attacks stronger similar to how most dark knight abilities work. this isn't really by choice as with both the mothercrystals tainted and her overusing her core, it has a physically impact on her physically body. parts of her body is slowly petrifying - instead of stone, it's crystal.

she doesn't semi-prime as she's not a dominant but can partially show some of her dragonkin features when feeling threatened. dragon wings can appear at her back and her scales are more visible across her arms, neck, and face, her fangs are more pronounced, etc. she has a similar vibe to this.

after seeing humanity at their worst for hundreds of years, she really wouldn't be interested in helping clive and co. initially despite feeling empathetic to bearers. she feels like humanity is mostly terrible at the point but a lot of this is also fueled by her own internal despair and lose of hope. she's waiting on for her own death or for humanity to wipe each other out. whichever comes first.

the only dominant she would know before the events of the game is barnacle, i meant barnabas. i would think ultima would eventually discover it didn't properly finish the job and send him after her. very cat and mouse.

Triple d wiki page

Destiny, Dallas and Déjà Vu Dalmatian, collectively known as Triple D, are triplet dalmatians and supporting characters in 101 Dalmatian Street. They are three of the 99 puppies among Delilah and Doug. They work as popular internet influencers, often starring in web videos and commericals.

Character origins

Storyboards for the 101 dalmatian street pilot

show Triple D in prototype form, with many of their design traits carrying over to their final designs. However, Déjà Vu wears a bow as opposed to a more traditional collar like her sisters. In later concept arts, the triplets were shown to wear pearls instead of collars. They also would have had dark grey eye shadow. Concepts show different collar designs, with Déjà Vu having meant to wear a collar with a '?' tag.

Triple D have identical designs, with the only way of differentiating them being their collars; Destiny has a heart tag, Dallas has a diamond tag, and Déjà Vu has a circle tag. Unlike other dalmatians, the triplets are given prominent eyelashes and highlights in their eyes. They each have a small spot on their right cheek that resemble beauty marks.

Background

Triple D are pompous yet caring stars of commercials that advertise pizza, shampoo, and perfume, among other things. Because of their identical appearances, they are prone to getting mixed up by members of their family. As triplets, the three usually say sentences together in turn. They also have a tendency to ask “You called?” whenever they are cued into a scene. Along with Doug and Delilah, Triple D are a main source of income for the Dalmatian family.

"It's My Party" reveals that they each have distinct personalities: Destiny describes herself as a "deep intellectual who cares about the world," wanting to help those in need (specifically baby foxes); Dallas is glam with a heart, doesn't like it when others touch her fur and is the most serious out of the three; and Déjà Vu mimics anything her sisters do, often getting off track and causing awkward situations. "The Walls Are Alive" shows that Déjà Vu doesn't work well without her sisters.

Triple D have a brief line in the series premiere, "Dog's Best Friend." They are later given a prominent role in "The Woof Factor," where Dylan, Dolly, and Deepak impersonate them after they realize they've been double-booked for shooting commercials. In "A Date with Destiny... Dallas and Déjà Vu," Dylan follows Triple D around their commercial set after worrying about their saftey while Hunter tries to get a DNA sample from them. In "It's My Party," Dylan, Dolly and Diesel host a birthday party for each individual triplet, learning more about them in the process. Triple D also star in the Gigglebug Guarantee short, "Diva Pups."

Hello, it's the cai anon. The character that I'd like to request is Aurora Emery from Pixelberry Studios Open Heart Book 1. I'd try to be as much help as possible. Aurora is a medical intern at Edenbrook Hospital, Boston's most prestigious teaching hospital during the first year of her residency. Her Aunt Harper is the Chief of Medicine at the hospital. Aurora specializes in Internal Medicine. She is independent and does not rely on her family or on her colleagues for help, but she is willing to accept it for the good of her patients. She has a surprisingly kind smile. She believes that she to work twice as hard to prove that she deserves her spot. Aurora is a confident and skilled physician. She lives with her aunt in Boston. Will likely burn her aunt's place down if she ever attempts to prepare dinner without supervision. Cooking is not her forte.

Appearance:  She has short, black hair, brown eyes and dark skin. A black woman in her late 20s. Sexuality: bisexual; Relationship status: She is single. Doesn't have time for dating, because she is focused on her career. Doesn't want kids. Background: Her parents could afford to give her a comfortable life growing up, earning her the nickname "Princess Nepotism", but she has never used their name or their wealth to her advantage. Personality: Aloof, professional, tsundere, a loner, melancholic, closed off, guarded, dutiful, calm, slow, steady, collected, sarcastic, cynical, skeptical, practical, logical, and overly cautious. She never made any friends at med school, but she graduated at the top of her class. For a long time she allowed her bullies to use her as their emotional punching bag.

Hobbies: She took up rock climbing to challenge herself and to relieve the anxious energy. She has no interest in group sports.

Personality type: ISFJ, 6w5 on enneagram.

Love language: to give -- Acts of service; to receive -- Words of affirmation, but only when they come from people that have gained her trust.

Aurora keeps to herself. She doesn't spend time outside of work with her colleagues, primarily because many of them falsely compliment and praise her to try to get an in with her aunt. She always keeps her emotions in check in front of her colleagues, because she thinks that they are all out to get her. She believes that everyone has an ulterior motive to speak to her. If she ever finds herself in a social setting, she'd be the woman that's browsing her phone alone in the corner while nursing a beer. She often hides in her room or in the library. As much as she loves and respects her aunt, Aurora is determined to step out of Harper's shadow and to make a name for herself in the medical field. Aurora held the number one spot for the first few weeks of the competition between the interns. Despite that, Chief Emery reprimands her for any sign of weakness that she shows, and drills her about all of her cases. There is a rather long Choices wiki page about the character.

I guess all the cases that I have solved aren't enough for me to hold the number one spot if I'm not sucking up to the senior staff members like everyone else does."

She is yet another person that wants to brag about beating an Emery and makes baseless speculations about my career. I know what everyone here thinks of me. I'd rather let my work speak for itself."
