She is known for being the only woman to be an official Formula One driver since Giovanna Amati in 1992 and the second female driver with points since Lella Lombardi in 1976, thus creating history in the world of motorsport. At the 2019 Spanish Grand Prix she took her first victory, becoming the first woman in history to win a grand prix.
After a competition against Valtteri Bottas with whom she remained tied in terms of points during the last three races of the 2019 season, she won the title of sub champion in the drivers' world championship giving Ferrari the second place in the constructors' world championship.
In 2020 she suffered a horrible accident that made her unable to finish the Tuscan Grand Prix, after that race her results during the last eight races went down.
In the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix she returned to the podium (and in the championship) in second position after a close competition against Max Verstappen due to losing control of her car causing both of them to almost collide, but she managed to regain control and finish the race without no harm.
Her younger brother, Oliver Torres, is a Moto GP driver for Yamaha Motor Racing.
𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗬 ↓
Arabella was born in Leganés, a Madrid’s municipality, on 26 may 2000, as the eldest of two siblings: she and her little brother, Oliver Torres. Since she was a little girl she grew up with Formula 1 at home, as her father was a big fan and never missed a race although she was not too interested in the motor world of until one of her uncles gifted her brother a mini kart for christmas that she ended up using it, which sparked her curiosity about cars.
Her interest in cars began to grow, she began to watch Formula 1 with her father and her uncle, she noticed car brands and models and was passionate about car movies. She has mentioned several times that the Fast And Furious saga is one of her favorites.
From December 2018 to December 2020 she resided in Monte Carlo, Monaco. In 2021 she bought an apartment in London, England with her partner, the spanish football player Hector Bellerin. She currently lives between Monte Carlo and London.
𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗥 ↓
Torres began her racing career in karting at the young age of 9, competing in different categories. She won the Spanish Championship in the novice category in 2009, won the cadet category in 2010 and two more consecutive times. In 2013, in the KF3 European Championship she had a horrible accident when she reached second place, thus being the only race that she has not finished, a tire on her car burst causing her to fly several meters until she crashed into a fence in front of the stands. She had several spinal injuries and had to undergo surgery several times so she had to retire for a year, losing the opportunity to be signed by the Red Bull Junior Team.
At the age of 14, a year after her accident she returned to the world of motorsport in Formula 3 with Prema PowerTeam, finishing in sixth position in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, in 2015 she finished on the podium in second position.
In 2016 she signed with the Ferrari Driver Academy and entered Formula 2 where she won first place in the 2016 and 2018 seasons.
Two years later, in 2019, she was announced as a driver for Scuderia Ferrari for Formula 1 alongside Charles Leclerc. During her contract with Ferrari she raced 38 races of which she won 9 and came second in the 2019 drivers' championship.
On December 13 2020, during the race in Abu Dhabi, Ferrari announced that Torres would not be part of the team for the following season and a week later it was announced that she would be replaced by Carlos Sainz Jr. On March 2 2022 during the presentation of their new car Mercedes announced, after almost three months of confusion about Arabella's future in Formula 1, that the driver had signed a contract with them for a duration of eight years, that is, until 2029.

Carc Primer : come meet the Spanish boyfriends
Tumblr media
Marc Marquez, MotoGP rider. Carlos Sainz, F1 driver. Two Spaniards of the same generation who were brought together by various circumstances and who are now very good friends, as demonstrated below.
NATIONAL SPORTS AWARDS 2015
Tumblr media
Oldest photos of them I could find are from the 17th of November 2015 when they attended the National Sports Awards in Madrid.
HONDA / RED BULL
Marc has spent his whole carreer with Honda. Carlos was a RB junior driver and then drove for Toro Rosso up until 2017. I couldn't find more content than what you have right after (from pre-season 2016, you can see more pictures here).
Tumblr media
ESTRELLA GALICIA
The Estrella Galicia 0,0 Youtube channel is a gift. They had Carlos and Marc in the same commercial but separately in July of 2015 (video) and June of 2016 (video).
We can see them on screen at the same time on this video from March of 2017.
In 2018, they shot this beautiful thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gifs source by @rookie-ofthe-year)
In July of 2021, they shot a video for the Artesanos del paddock series of videos.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In November of 2021, they were both involved in some promo stuff for the 5th season of La Casa de Papel. Here you have some backstage thing.
Tumblr media
In December of 2022, Estrella Galicia made them visit MEGA (the EG museum) and they looked very boyfriends while doing it (video).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gifs source by @c2-eh)
They interviewed each other (video in English - video in Spanish). They talked about how Carlos should try a motoGP bike one day (the way Marc says "claro que te gustaria" lives rent free in my mind).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They filmed a "this or that" video that Carlos published for Marc's Birthday (video). It has Marc saying "you guard it [my beer] and I dance" and the two of them challenging each other to a race (we're still waiting).
EG also made them pour beers (video) and we had some intense heart eyes action from Marc.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gifs source by @c2-eh)
You can find more pictures from that day here, the "then and now" insta reel here. They also did some VR stuff, with Marc inadvertedly grabbing Carlos' hand (pictures & video).
In January of 2023, EG released a commercial for their new 0,0 beer with them (insta reel) and you can see Marc handing the beers to Carlos saying "you're stronger" and after Carlos struggles to understand the mechanism, Marc has to take the beers from him (saying that the guys from motoGP are stronger).
MADRID
In early 2022, Marc (and his brother Alex) moved to Madrid. Carlos helped him, he said : "Since I found out he was coming to live in Madrid, I tried to help him adapt himself and feel as comfortable as possible in my hometown [...] I don't live in Madrid anymore, but I go back there every weekend and try to meet him. We met twice for dinner, I have shown him the gym where I train, he is also training there now, and we have a lot of contact." (article)
They indeed trained together earlier this year, with the following photos from January 2023 (insta post).
Tumblr media
During the World Cup, on the 1st of December 2022, they watched the Spain - Japan game together with friends (and made a joint insta post for their selfies).
Tumblr media
You can find a group picture of that night here. And now, very important things to witness : Carlos feeding Marc omelet from his fork and playing the plane game with him (video) and the two of them discussing while Marc is seating at Carlos' feet in a very babygirl fashion (video). The scenes are from All In (Marc's Prime Video documentary), you can see Carlos in episode 5.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gifs source by me)
INSTAGRAM
You can find them in each other's comments (for example here or here). Here you have Carlos filming Marc while he was sleeping in early 2017.
Also, this is Carlos wishing Marc a Happy Birthday in 2021 (here) via EG. And Marc was watching the Bahrain GP (2023) and I'm making it count as Carlos support (photo here).
OTHER
I couldn't find out where this was from but have some leather jacket Carlos.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then, something that might be EG related but I'm not sure so we're putting it here. An event at the Barcelona Grand Prix in 2019 with Marc's brother and Carlos' dad. More photos here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In March of 2023, Ignacio Rivera, president of Estrella Galicia, talked about Marc & Carlos in an interview. It’s pretty interesting and I will just highlight one quote (translated to the best of my abilities) :
But it’s sure that the understanding between the two was building while they were participating to events and publicity campaigns together. There, you could see how they supported each other and competively provoked each other. It’s fantastic for us to do sponsor activities with the two because you can immediately perceive their affinity.
FANDOM CONTENT
This is where I do promo for myself and my friends. I've written a couple of fics for them, you can find them on my AO3 (one, two, short stories). @c2-eh also wrote a very beautiful and very hot fic for them and @backwardscapcarlos makes the best moodboards.
I also made a dedicated gifset for them, which you can find here.
We're all obviously looking forward to more content so please join us in the Carc madness.

This might be a bit random but after seeing that post with seb's wdc radio, i wonder how many drivers have lewis present on the podium while they had their maiden wins/wdc? How many people had their first victory, a moment they can't ever forget, celebrated by lewis?
Hello friend, you broke my brain with this. Well, not broke, but I didn't wanna do my project writing, so I took this chance to actually do some research and I think I caught them all! :D Here comes a comprehensive list of people who had Lewis Hamilton with them on the podium as they won their first race and/or first wdc!
Nico Rosberg (race 2012/ wdc 2016)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both his first race win (Chinese GP 2012) and his WDC win (Abu Dhabi GP 2016) had Lewis on the podium. I will not comment on the difference in their relationship, because, well. We all know 😢
Sebastian Vettel (wdc 2010)
Tumblr media
Abu Dhabi 2010 my absolute utter ultimate beloved beloved beloved!!! Fave race Fave everything. GOD. JUST. HALLO WELTMEISTER!!! ☀️ both Jense and Lewis cant help but be happy for Seb. I love for it.
Charles Leclerc (race 2019)
Tumblr media
HE WINS IN SPA!!! BELOVED!! ❤️️ Do you remember the cooldown room after Bahrain 2019? Do you? I DO. ALL THE TIME. Lewis remains Charles' biggest fan to this day, and I love him for it.
Esteban Ocon (race 2021)
Tumblr media
Hungarian GP 2021. Its a little cute I guess. Seb is there! Yay! And Ocon was/is a Merc boy, so I guess it was pretty special for him, to have Lewis there :) and Lewis is always so good with the younger generations, and so supportive.
Max Verstappen (wdc 2021)
Tumblr media
Abu Dhabi 2021. I forgot Carlos was on the podium then too. Huh.
Carlos Sainz Jr (race 2022)
Tumblr media
Silverstone 2022. I was so upset during this race I left right after Zhou's crash and walked for 2 hours. Touching grass is cool.
George Russell (race 2022)
Tumblr media
Interlagos remains the best fucking race out there. Pure joy, every time. Britcedes aka hoecedes on the podium. Adorable.
I love how Lewis was there for technically either 3/4 or 3/5 podiums for younger generation first race wins, depending whether or not you count Max in the younger generation or not (Max's first win was Spain 2016, with Seb and Kimi in Ferrari on the podium, after both Silver Arrows... lets say DNF'd and leave it at that xD). He was absent for Pierre's 2020 Monza win, due to a penalty.
BONUS: Jenson Button, Interlagos 2009, WCD
Tumblr media
Jenson won the WDC in Interlagos, coming in fifth, but Lewis technically was on the podium for Jenson's WDC win, so I'm counting it, tongue-in-cheek. :)
Hope you enjoyed this descent into research, I did immensely! <3

i got this ideia on my mind for a couple of weeks now so here it is, as i need to say: this is fictional, and does not have any compromise with reality, the teams here are real and are the teams i support during the volleyball season, this will be a short one
The Beginning | Lewis Hamilton Imagine | Prologue
pietra caspari is one of the most successful volleyball players in the world for the past 5 years, bronze medalist in rio olympics in 2016 and gold medalist in tokyo olympics in 2021, combined with lewis hamilton, 7 times world champion, they made one of the most genuine couple on the 2022 grid, but they story started years before.
2014
everything started in 2014. "lewis hamilton signs with mercedes" was the news it was on every motorsport vehicle, the magazines, blogs, the radio, tv, everything was about hamilton going to mercedes and it was when alan caspari decided he wanted to join the formula one world, he was rich, had a successful company and he made an offer expecting mercedes to say yes, and they did, so when hamilton signed with mercedes, alson alan became one of the main sponsors of the racing team.
2014 was also the year priya left college and went to her first pro season in turkey, she was playing with vakifbank, she was in her last year of college when someone from turkey went to watch the ncaa finals, and they liked what they saw, they picked two young players and offered them an adaptation season, if the girls outperformed they had the interest on keeping them. priya and dahlia went to turkey knowing that pro life in volleyball was cruel, tough and very different from college volleyball.
2014 was a year of turning over, hamilton signed with mercedes and became a two time world champion, on the other hand, vakif season wasn't great, they won the turkish supercup and it was all. priya was already thinking about options, where she could go if they choose to not renew her contract? does she had was it was necessary to play in the biggest volleyball team? does she had what it takes to be a volleyball player? she knew the difficulties about that life and she choose it anyway, and she didn't regret it.
2015
considering that the turkish season ended earlier for them, they got the chance to watch the spanish gp and monaco gp; because during 2015 summer break priya and dahlia were summoned to the usa national team, the were a year from the olympics and they wanted to put a solid team together and seeing what the girls could do together, the smartest decision was to put them together again. they spent the whole summer training in california, they got closer with the other players, they grew as a person and as a player.
it was during the spanish gp that priya met lewis for the first time, she went alone to spain, it was a family time - a much needed one after the exhausting season, her parents and siblings were there, sitting inside mercedes garage, watching the race from the most privileged spot. nico rosberg won that one, it was a win-win to the constructors championship, but it wasn't him who got priya's attention, it was the british man. lewis went to say hi to your father and introduced himself to you and your siblings, samuel, who was just two years younger than you was already one of his biggest fans, and lewis treated him so well that warmed your heart, even the youngers who were 16 and 14 and didn't exactly see the appeal about it got hypothesized by him, and when he extended his hands to introduce himself to you was the moment you fell in love with the sport. it was all it take, a spain gp and a hand shake and you were watching all the races from that day on.
the 2015 season started pretty nice for the turkish team, priya was playing with olympic players, she could see the biggest opposite from all the times every day at practice, and she learned so much that season that she wouldn't make any moment different.
2015 was also the year that lewis became a three times world champion, the caspari family went to the last race of the year, and at that point all of them (lauren's exception, the third daughter) were mercedes supporters. and they celebrate that win. priya did insane things that weekend on november 2015, she took a flight in turkey on saturday afternoon and landed in abu dhabi on the same night, she watched the race, celebrated the win and on monday morning she was inside a plane again. that celebration night was also the first time pietra and lewis kissed each other, and it was a deep kiss, it was full with luxury, the adrenalin was high, they were feeling so much in so short time, the kiss led to more than a kiss and when the morning arrived that november 30rd, priya was collecting her clothes from the floor, she left like she had never been there.
2016
it was olympics time, once the 2015-16 season started everyone knew it would be a shorter season, after all, all the world would watch the show who was getting ready in rio.
2016 was a great year for vakif as a team, they won the turkish league, they were silver at the supercup and the european league, but what it was amazing for pietras caspari was being one of the twelve names on the rio list, she was there, dahlia was there, they would share one of the happiest moments in her life. when the team went together for the first time the coach said to team for them not to let it grow, they were coming in case of a much needed inversion, they already have an excellent setter and a better outside hitter. in one hand, team usa got the silver medal on the other hand, lewis lost the championship to his teammate.
2017
the 2016-17 season was a great season, vakif was europe champions, they won against conegliano and became champions of the europe and it was priya last season in turkey, but it was also the season she becamefor the first time champion of europe.
2017 was the year lewis gave everything, he was a four times world champion, and once again pietra was there to the last race, they celebrated all over again, exactly how it was in 2015, it was like a big deja vu, but on monday she had to left again, that time they said goodbye, they properly shake hands and moved on.
2018
at the end of the last season priya received an offer to play in brazil, in the minas tênis club team, they were one of the biggest teams in the country and the national league there was really strong, her contract with the italian team was just for a season, so she packed it up and went to brazil for the next 2 seasons, 2017-18 and 2018-2019 and watching the races became harder than she expected, but her professional life was better and better, she kept growing and evolving day by day.
2017, 2018 and 2019 was also years lewis won the championship, he was a 6 times world champion, she was there for every last race and they celebrate all of them in the exactly same way. they spent the night between expensive sheets, they knew each other's bodies like their hands and yet, all the 3 years they said goodbye on monday.
2020
it was when everything changed. during one hard match in january, priya shattered her left knee, everything she had done all these years were falling from her hands, when she landed after spiking that ball she felt it, she knew something was wrong, she kept thinking "my career is ending here or i still have a chance?"
alan put her inside a plane as soon as the team doctor said it was better for her to recover from home, after all these years in formula one, priya's mom who was italian convinced the family to move to california to south italy, but she never went to italy, she went to monte carlo, an expensive hospital with one of the best orthopedist and the best physiotherapy in europe, she had her contract terminated because of injury and was when she and lewis switched more than moans and a few words.
he was there, every step of the way, he even let priya to have angela taking care of her once she could walk again, and they became closer, all the nights they had in past stayed in the past, they were starting over, they were grow up adults and the days where hooking up with someone for one nigh each year was gone. they became friends, and more than friends, and thats how the story starts, from here.

Hi!
I want to organise my tumbrl better for the season to come and you tags system seems really interesting!
Would you be okay to explain it a bit? So I can take inspiration from it?
It's okay if you don't, of course!
hello!! i would, gladly! i'm/it's not *that* organized unfortunately, i'm always like... "i should have a tag for that", and then.. i never do it 😭 but i have sort of settled on a system at least for the races, that i can follow.
on race weekends i use three tags, one for the location (eg. #hungary, #spain), one for the year ofc (eg. #24) and a combined one, so i can track that one specific race weekend (eg. #hun24, #esp24). this way if i want to search stuff from silverstone, spain etc, i can do it and it'll bring up everything from that place, regardless of the year. and same for the year, if i want to see stuff from say 2021, i'll just search #21.
(into the main tags, so year and location i put the more.. proper posts, while the specific race weekend tags tend to have more random posts in them as well.. it's just. the vibes from my side, whether i will use all three tags or not 😭)
edit: i just remembered that during the grand prix i also use the tumblr tag of the gp. so for instance during the spanish gp, that'd be #spanish gp 2024.
all years have a tag, but for the childhood years, which i consider until the end of the karting years (so in george's case that's 2013) i mostly use #ch. 2018 and 2017 are the only ones where i use the full year, because if you use #18 and #17 as tags the post won't show up in the search system...
i have some other tags too, for this winter break i was using #wb23 and #wb24, for the summer break i had #sb23. now for the pre-season, starting with today i settled on #prs24. for the pre-season test in bahrain, i will use both #testing and #testing24. i've been tempted to use a non-race weekend tag, or a tag for official photoshoots, so... maybe starting with this season i'll do that too! i'm lazy tho, because i always think that through the archive i will find everything i want to 😭...
some other tags that i have are #*m (any "major" post made my be) and #*p (proper photos), but these are more just for myself. looking back on things it'd have been easier to start tagging reblogs, instead of my own posts, but it kinda stuck from my previous blog... for my gifs, edits i use #*mine. i have some other tags too, #q for quotes and interviews, #j for the occasional memes, and #r for any random posts from my side.
i also made separate tags for george's firsts, so first win, podium, pole, williams point :')
it's a bit of a mess probably from the outside, but i'll be honest, i never really expect people to browse these tags a lot. it'd be cool if they would tho :)...
so yeah, i hope i could help a little bit! 🤍 i think you just gotta pick a system you like and then if you want to tag something specific, don't think much about it, just start tagging it right away, because you'll regret it later, that you've put it off for so long

saw that you made a post recommending good max races, could you make one for daniel as well
oh absolutely nonnie (this will be a long ass post because daniel is that great)
2012 Bahrain Qualifying - a really amazing quali for daniel in a midfield car, the race wasn’t that great for him though
2014 British GP - daniel had a different race style this weekend but worked in his favour and ended up P3
2014 Canadian GP - DANIEL’S FIRST WIN!! Full on mercedes drama with daniel not leading a lap till the very end
2014 Hungarian GP - a wet starting race that was full of different strategies, underlying merc drama as usual and daniel made some real ballsy overtakes, most notably on fernando and lewis, to go and win the race
2014 Belgian GP - it’s another dan win but this race is GREAT for the mercedes drama that plagued 2014 - 2016
2014 Abu Dhabi GP - this one gets so overlooked because of the title decider but my man started P19 after basically being DSQ and finished P4 with some amazing overtakes, one with two cars at once
2016 Monaco GP - this was hard, daniel had an absolutely amazing race starting on pole until red bull fucked his pitstop so it ended with pain
2016 Malaysian GP - Malaysia is just such a sexy race for red bull drivers and i miss this circuit a lot. A 1-2 with baby maxy
2016 was amazing in qualifying for daniel so i would recommend watching them as well, he got podiums in Germany (that included some team orders though if that’s not what you’re into) and Singapore
2017 Monaco GP - daniel got third after some good strategies with tyres and even though he hit the wall towards the end
2017 Azerbaijan GP - this race was drama, seb and lewis were at it and causing each other grief, which allowed daniel to go and win the race from P10 with one of the most sexiest overtakes he’s ever done
2017 Austrian GP - just some nice defending from daniel against lewis for P3
2017 Malaysian GP - nice defending again for P3 and a double podium for the red bull boys
Daniel had some more podiums as well at Spain, Canada, Spa and Singapore, 2017 was a very strong season for him
2018 China GP - very sexy overtakes as always that let him go on to win the race after so many issues with the car that weekend
2018 Monaco GP - daniel finally fucking won monaco, with a breaking down car, it’s amazing to watch
2018 Mexico Qualifying - my mans was a fast boy and got pole “i’m tripping major balls right now” but i wouldn’t watch the race if you’re a dan fan
2019 Italian GP - this season was just not that great but this was finally a good race for him
2020 German GP - this bitch finally got a podium after finishing 4th at so many races!!

What is your theory that ferrari is so divided amd also with sainz?
I think Ferrari has a shitty communication, with Mattia who stay in his bullshit, at each interview. It didn’t help to not thinking they’re not divided. This guy even refuses to be interviewed by Sky Italia, so offended was he by a truth shouted by everyone. Ferrari, needs a director who says things. Someone, in my comments, said they must be two directions between what Ferrari’s garage wants to do and how the Ferrari’s offices leads. Or maybe this team it’s just some loosers, because it didn’t change for years, and every time it’s the circus of the year. Had some struggles really to decided why Ferrari is so much divided, there must be too much shitty reasons.
About Carlos’ and Charles’ situations, for a long time, I thought that Charles didn't dare to say when Ferrari is doing a mess. It’s finally the opposite. But with further investigation, I think that's where my theory that Carlos would be more favored in the future comes from. Charles, for me, has must more argue with Binotto, than Carlos who praises and defends Ferrari so much, compared to Charles who remains more nuanced and neutral. Carlos contradicts Ferrari on track, from what I can see. The big tensions, I guess they had between Charles and Binotto, must have started mostly since Monaco Gp. Many articles pop up after Silverstone, where Charles complained that Ferrari favored his teammate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Published by the Republicca, an big italian journal. It’s a traduction in English, not very good maybe)
I think Ferrari doesn’t assume to favour Carlos, maybe because Charles has an incredible talent and he’s very he is very adored in Italy, by the Tifosi. And maybe because, he has more sponsors (so much money to bring) than Carlos. Just a little fuzzy idea I have, but not based on much. I admit it. But it’s not an easy question.
But for me, many things happened after Spain Gp. I red, on Twitter, that Carlos has benefited from a new engine at this time, and I think had red that Binotto wanted to helped Carlos to developing his car. Something like that. Not very clear. Then, Carlos had finish p4 and Charles DNF. Okay. Then, Monaco was came Carlos had a podium and Charles p4, cause again Ferrari made a mess. They were no problem with Carlos, but then with Charles suddenly they messed the call. I don’t think they sabotaging him, but it’s very strange even Charles didn’t understand. He said it in a interview.
Then, Carlos had signed for 2 more years with Ferrari, it was in April. I noticed after that, Carlos’ car was better and was lire in front Charles, on the results, when we take a look Gp by Gp. I don’t say Carlos had no talent. But his amelioration came a little suddenly. Charles, managed to stay ahead in terms of statistics, certainly thanks to his incredible driving skills. This led to podiums, but the car was almost never with him. Especially the pedal. We all remember that. Carlos, never really complained about the car, on the radio, like Charles. (That maybe why we’re more stressed when we see Charle’s radio appears than Carlos’.) Certainly, because there was none when he made podiums, or good top 10s. Always ahead of Charles. He obviously had a some huge DNF, with a car on fire. But, since the signing of his contract compared to 2021, we feel at Ferrari a desire to give Carlos an advantage. I wondering if maybe Carlos said he wants to be more advantaged than Charles. Or something like that, I don’t know. But, it’s must be complicated for Ferrari because it’s Charles behind, not a rookie or a middle driver. It’s only supposition and theory, I repeat. Maybe I’m totally wrong.
Silverstone was crucial and the highlight, I guess.
Tumblr media
Carlos decided clearly to not help Charles, whereas Ferrari asked him.
Tumblr media
Of course before the race you didn’t prepare to a situation like this. It’s a false excuse, for me. They don't dare to put Carlos in his place like they ask, or there is favoritism. Between us, I have made my choice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course it’s didn’t happen ! You didn’t see that on the others team’s tyres ? It’s so fucking obvious, even in the race. But you decided to stop Charles to put hard tires. Which were a disaster. What a genius… You didn’t saw that either on others pilots, since the beginning of the race ?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Where it’s weird, it’s they preferred to stop Carlos who like he said wasn’t the fastest. But, they didn’t see Charles struggling so fucking hard on his hard tires, with Perez take more and more time on him. Ferrari, just saw the position, not the situation. What a great director, and what a wonderful strategist behind !
Tumblr media
What a meme ! We all remembered. Charles said it was just a speech motivating. Hmm. 🤔 I’m not very convicted. I think, it was both. A fake motivational speech disguised as a rebuke, for criticizing the strategy. We have all seen Binotto's oversized ego, when we criticized Ferrari for their strategies. Sky Italia must be laughing, at such childishness.
Tumblr media
Why using “I think”? And he clearly saids Binotto was pissed off so-called because Charles was too down. I think, yes Charles was really down and started to criticize Ferrari (and the clownish strategist) and at the same time blaming himself. The word “think” seems weird, in my head. Maybe just an over interpretation. But it’s a little weird to be so pissed off at the point to do that, because you driver blaming himself. I really think Charles must saids something, about the stupid Ferrari’s strategy. And what I posted, at the beginning, just confirming me that.
Voilà ! I hope I answered to your question, it was so long sorry. 😅 But to be honest, what said about Carlos, at first, was just based on my instinct and my impressions throughout Grands Prix. So I needed to just argue my impressions and to make some research, which confirmed what I thinking. I red some articles, and I rewatching Grand Prix’s results, with what I red and what I think. I couldn’t argue like I wanted, because I’m really tired and it’s night, in my country. 🥱
It’s just my opinion with my little knowledge about formula 1, because I am still a beginner. I am still looking for how to approach and learn, about this very special sport. Maybe all I say, is easily dismountable. No problem, I only ask to learn and evolve. But I can't stand, on the other hand, condescension when someone’s wrong or missed something.
I would not hesitate to say that I was wrong, that my perceptions have changed. Because I was taught something, with kindness and respect. I don’t say that to you anon, just for people who wants to react about all that. 😊

Toto Wolff reveals Mercedes will make 'fundamental design changes' to next season's car
Toto Wolff reveals Mercedes will make 'fundamental design changes' to next season's car... as team principal hopes to make Lewis Hamilton and George Russell title contenders in 2024 Hamilton and Russell are a long way off Max Verstappen in this year's standings  Mercedes hope to be challenging the Dutchman for wins later in the season  Wolff though has revealed Mercedes will make big changes for their 2024 car  By Kieran Lynch For Mailonline Published: 11:56 EDT, 22 June 2023 | Updated: 11:56 EDT, 22 June 2023 Toto Wolff has revealed that Mercedes will make 'fundamental' changes to their 2024 car to enable Lewis Hamilton and George Russell to challenge for next season's title. Red Bull have dominated the 2023 season, with Mercedes' closest challenger, Hamilton, a massive 93 points behind Verstappen after only eight races. They have shown improvement in recent races, with podium finishes in recent races in Spain and Canada - after introducing a major upgrade to their W14 challenger in Monaco last month. The sport's yearly cost cap of £105.6m gives teams less funding to spend on large developments, but Wolff insists Mercedes will have the flexibility to make big changes to next season's challenger.  As per Sky Sports, Wolff said: 'We have set up a huge organisation in our financial department of 46 people, that monitors the cost cap down to the last screw. Toto Wolff has revealed Mercedes will make 'fundamental' changes to next season's car Despite improvements since a recent upgrade package, they remain a long way off Red Bull Wolff hopes to provide drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell a title contender next year 'We look at that trend of our spend during all of the year and what we've done is basically allocate resource to various projects. 'We've stayed below that line all year last year, and we're still below that line this year and that is considering a normal development switch for next year. This is still pretty much on track. 'The good thing is that we are constantly learning about what the car is doing. There are going to be some fundamental design changes for next year, but it's not that we're building stuff. It's more like what are we simulating?' Verstappen is on course to win his third consecutive drivers' title, after his victory in Montreal was his sixth out of the opening eight races this season. Hamilton finished 14 seconds behind the Dutchman in third, behind Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso. While George Russell was on course to finish in fourth before a crash into the wall ruined his race and later caused him to retire. Though more drastic changes will be made to next season's car, Wolff revealed in Montreal that an upgrade package will be introduced at the British Grand Prix in two weeks time. Chief technical officer Mike Elliott, said their upgrades introduced at Monaco performed better than predicted in Canada, and that they hope for strong results in the next two races in Austria and Silverstone - tracks which should better suit their car.  Elliott said in Mercedes' Canadian Grand Prix debrief video: 'I think where we have seen the car struggling is more in the low-speed corners and so we start looking at circuits that have got more medium and high-speed content; we think we will do better there. Max Verstappen is already on course to winning his third title with six wins from eight races 'So, Silverstone will be a good example of that. Austria shouldn't be too bad for us either. So let's hope we go well on both of those.' Mercedes, who dominated the sport from 2014 to 2021, have won just one race since the start of 2022 - Russell's Brazilian GP win last November.  Hamilton, who has won a record 103 races over his career, is currently on a 31-race streak without a victory - with his last triumph coming at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.  Share or comment on this article: Toto Wolff reveals Mercedes will make 'fundamental design changes' to next season's car via Formula One | Mail Online https://www.dailymail.co.uk?ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&ito=1490

Navigating This Blog:
Firstly, please remember that my tagging system is for my use. I'm very happy when my blogs help people find stuff! But their first function is to help me find stuff. <3 1. If you’re looking for a specific race, the tag format is [location] [year]. For example, #hungary 2016 or #usa 2019. -> Azerbaijan is listed as Baku. -> Countries with multiple races will be tagged as both the country and track (for example, Spain and Valencia/Jerez/Barcelona, Germany and Hockenheim/Nurburg). -> European GP content is tagged as both European and the name of the track, either Valencia or Baku. -> Where possible, days are also tagged. So, for example, #monaco 2019 thursday. 2. If you’re looking for just a specific year, the format is either #flashback fic ref [year] or #fic ref [year]. #flashback fic ref is any year before 2021. #fic ref is for 2021 onward. 3. If you’re looking for just a specific track, that’s tagged too! Just search the country. 4. On a quest for other racing-related content but not from F1 race weekends, you say? -> Pre-season and post-season tags! For example, #pre-season 2012 or #post-season 2009. -> Testing, specifically, is also tagged! The format is testing [year], like #testing 2018. -> Race of Champions? Goes by year, and is listed under both “roc” and “race of champions”. For example, #roc 2008 or #race of champions 2011. 5. Things he does in his capacity as an F1 driver, but not strictly racing-related? -> The FIA gala is listed under both “fia gala” and “fia prize giving”. Examples: #fia gala 2018 or #fia prize giving 2011. -> Autosport Awards / Laureus World Sports Awards / German Sportspersonality of the Year -> Charity soccer games: Partita del Cuore / Kick Fur Kinder / Champions For Charity 6. And, of course, non-racing-related content: -> The format is [year] not a race. For example, #2007 not a race. -> If you’d like a specific time period during a season, it’s separated by what races it fell between. For example, #between japan and usa 2018. -> Summer break 2022! 7. Feeder series! -> Formula BMW ADAC (all) / Formula BMW ADAC 2003 / Formula BMW ADAC 2004 -> Formula 3 (all) / Formula 3 2005 / Formula 3 2006 -> Formula Renault 3.5 8. All under-18 content is tagged as #childhood photos. 9. Relationships (not taking requests to add to this): -> Sewis -> Smick / With Mick (underage) -> George Russell -> Michael Schumacher 10. Important! On the website version of Tumblr, you can combine search items. This is immensely helpful for finding specific things! -> So, for example, if you open search and type in "hungary 2022, smick" it’ll only pull up Smick content from the Hungarian GP. :) -> Or “flashback fic ref 2011, autosport awards” -> Or “testing 2013, jerez” 11. Trigger tags I commonly use: * These are either for my use or by request and are not up for discussion or debate. If you need something added, please drop me a dm or ask to let me know. 💚 -> #tw max (verstappen) -> #tw transphobe (webber) -> #tw nico (rosberg) -> #tw kimi (raikkonen) -> #tw bernie ecclestone -> #tw helmut marko -> #tw christian horner -> #tw dietrich mateschitz -> #tw crash -> #tw death -> #tw body perception -> #tw food / #cw food This is a pretty exhaustive list, but if you need help or are confused, feel free to contact me! <3
