I took a little break from ArtFight to not just make fanart for points, but for pure enjoyment. So I did some 3D and honestly.. This is so far my best model yet.

I figured out I'm good at modeling creatures like these aaaand so I made another haha. I tried making him as accurate as possible, so I hope I achieved that at one point-

Happy valentines days and happy fursuit Friday! Wintertime means there isn't a lot of events but I have been updating my suit! I got an AMAZING new sona badge made by @spearxwind. I even went and printed it double sided on canvas so it would match my theme. I also got some tail flags made by MonsterCultMakers on etsy. There is this user, spearxwind, that is accusing you of copying their oc and they are telling people to block you?

It felt real wrong especially considering they are friends with someone who stole another persons oc. design colors and all? I thought you might want to be made aware.

hey! yeah i think this was like 5 years ago at this point lol but they could not get around the fact that coincidences happen and ngl edgy ocs often end up having a lot of the same tropes (literally their friend group all has similar ocs)

they dm'd me telling me about it and i offered to explain where some of the design choices came from/even stop posting the oc online bc at the time i liked their art and respected them, but they literally said just knowing that i had this character made them upset?? which in hindsight is kinda wild and then they blocked me

they also posted about it causing a lot of people to attack me, and despite that i continued to censor their name bc i didnt want anyone to go attack them (still dont)

they just get super defensive about their "original" ideas and make exceptions for friends but as soon as someone else makes something that resembles their ocs its "stealing", so what you're saying doesnt surprise me... one of their ex-friends literally messaged me comforting me after seeing what happened and telling me about this tendency of theirs and how it happened to them too after they stopped being friends

i will say the ocs do look similar which was just an unfortunate coincidence bc theyre based on similar things ig but the most i can give them is the hairstyle being pointier

I feel like you're the person to ask: I am trying to find some pieces of artwork in the genre that I can only describe as "horny mouth art." Like, big drippy fanged maws. Bonus points for wild neon iridescent colors. I know this type of art exists but I'm having trouble finding it. Can you possibly point me in a useful direction?

Was struck by lightning with how inspired I got after seeing @spearxwind 's art of their oc Cercerion. I saw a giant hurricane sized dragon and was overcome with a desire to make it Move.

Alas, woe is me that I don't yet have the program I want that has the power to do all the tweening and interpolation I had in mind, and Clip Studio was rapidly becoming tired of my bullshit. Had to make a lot of sacrifices just to stop the program from crashing. Still! Happy with the result.

A fan animation I made of @spearxwinds character Talas! Really pleased with how it turned out in the end. Base Model was made by @the-mirror-sunflower-owo then I did rigging, animation and rendering for it. Go check them both out!

If anyone wants to use the Rig for something I'm happy to share it (not the model though, thats not mine to share sorry) for you to put your own sea monsters / dragons / whatevers on, just send me a message!

I might do another render with some compositor effects later if I feel like it.

Its rendered in Eevee, and everything was made in blender.

Its got Bendy bones with corrected rotation controls on all the five main spinal controls, IK targets for the spines, feet and hands are both IK blends with switchable Spaces, Pole Vectors and IK toggle Shoulders. It probably still wants a little more work if it was going to be in production, but for a little 1 week project in uni holidays I'm pretty pleased with where he is.
