Spencer was sitting next to you on the plane ride home. His leg was bouncing.

“You ok?” You ask softly as you continue to read your book.

“Hmm?” He looks up from his. “Oh. Y-yeah…I’m fine.”

“Really? You sure? That case was…pretty tough.”

He nods, agreeing. “Mhm.”

“But you’re sure you’re ok?” You ask again because you know when he’s hiding what he’s feeling from you.

“Nothing…here…” he muttered as he gestured to the jet.

He nods and smiles. He continues bouncing his leg. “I really am going to need um…release…when we get home. I wasn’t kidding about that.”

“Of course.” You smile as you look over at him. “It was a very stressful case.”
