Spider- Raz 3(Retcons)

I’m changing some things around and adding some info.

Raz’s body has a couple of scars

I’m taking away the venom blast from him

He no longer meets Madam Web until much later,I want him to go through that spider-man angst

In this au Doc ock is a ex psychonaut member.

Raz can lift up to 10 tons.

do you have a basic timeline of events/plot points for the batb au?

It's sort of barebones in places but here's what I have so far:

Raz runs away, and Dion chases after his trail. Raz gets lost after sending Sugarcube off, and stumbles upon the mansion in the morning. Assuming it's abandoned, he climbs over the wall to poke around and explore.

The Aquatos find out what happened midway through the morning. Augustus and Frazie set out to find Raz & Dion around midday.

Dion arrives at the mansion after noon, and ends up climbing over the gate when Raz doesn't respond to his calls. He finds out that a) the mansion is not abandoned, and b) there is a spider monster who doesn't want to let Raz go "because he trespassed."

Dion manages to convince Gisu to let Raz go in exchange for having Dion stay. Raz is sent off with Sugarcube and enough supplies to make it back to camp.

Augustus and Frazie run into Raz in the late evening, and find out what went down at the mansion. They continue searching, but can't find the mansion by the time night falls. They return to the rest of the family.

Adam brings Dion to an unused room to settle in for the night, and Dion meets Morris through the small radio on the nightstand. He doesn't sleep well.

Gisu disappears into her lab to consume all of the romance media available to her. She is going to break this curse and she is going to do it right. She does not reemerge until late next morning.

Dion decides he's going to channel every inch of pettiness he has and then some, starting with taking the radio and setting it outside the room.

Dion pokes around the mansion a bit, trying to stave off boredom. He walks into a room, the fire crackles to life as Norma comes in to take a look at the new guy. Dion will later vehemently deny screaming like a banshee and throwing the nearest object (a vase) at the fire (he missed and hit the mantle).

The Aquatos go into the town to try and find out more about the mansion in the woods, as well as to see if they can't hire a local guide. They do not find the help they're looking for, and make plans to go into the forest to search on their own.

The Dinner Debacle™ happens. Dion meets Lizzie during this, and finds out that the giant tree in the courtyard is Sam.

The next morning comes, and the weather is ass. The Aquatos are unable to go search in these conditions.

The exact chain of events following this isn't as clear yet, but the general gist involves further shenanigans in the mansion as Gisu and Dion slowly start to become something approaching friends. Key scenes include Dion being invited into her lab and actually going in, Gisu giving Dion an empty room to make into whatever he sees fit and him making a basic trapeze to practice on, etc etc.

The Aquatos' plight catches the attention of the villain, who goes up to them to ask them in further detail what happened. Raz tells him about Gisu, which gives the villain an idea...

Dion and Gisu continue to get closer as time passes. Shenanigans abound. Gisu starts to lose sight of the goal of romancing Dion in favor of just,,, being his friend.

The villain uses their natural charisma to gather up a group of people sympathetic to the Aquatos' plight. But Lucrecia recognizes an angry mob in its infancy and the Aquatos end up refusing the villain's help.

Dion finds out that his family has been staying in the area looking for him, and feels bad about holding them back from moving onto the next town to perform. But he doesn't want to leave Gisu and the others behind—not while there's still a chance he can help them break their curse (and he'd still like an explanation as to how, exactly, they expect him to do that.)

Gisu makes the choice for him, and chases him off, playing up the "monster" part as much as she can. Dion runs off. The other interns yell at Gisu for this, but it's too late to try and bring Dion back—he's already past the outer wall, and Sam's control over the animals doesn't extend further than that.

Dion makes it to the town, only to run into the villain and the building mob. He's immediately detained under the accusation of being "bewitched by the monstress," with the villain using the bracelet that Gisu gifted him as proof.

The villains leads the mob to go storm the mansion, leaving Dion behind at the stake. The Aquatos show up just in time to put out the fire and untie him, and he tells them about what happened at the mansion.

The interns find out about the oncoming mob and prepare to defend the mansion, using every extent of their abilities. Gisu disappears into her lab to finish an invention that could help.

And then I'm still working out the ending so I'm cutting things off here.

Fantine - The Fall

We have met Jean Valjean

And we learn so much about him and I have so many thoughts, I'll do my best to keep this chronological

Of course, when Valjean is first introduced, we don't know it is him. There is a brooding man with an angry countenance who is wandering around looking for shelter for the night

He's been walking for 12 leagues (someone tell me what a 'league' is) and he's tired and hungry and has only been drinking water from fountains

But, because of his yellow passport - and the fact that somehow he is detestable enough a prisoner that everyone knows him - he can't find shelter

Not at any inn, tavern or dog kennel (guilty for laughing at the dog kennel scene)

Eventually some old woman points him to a warm house that she is sure will take him

It's our old friend bishop Charlie!

And he feeds Valjean off the best silver in the house and gives him a room just off the bishop's own

So obviously Valjean takes advantage of this and steals the bishop's silver plates when he's asleep and runs away

But Valjean gets caught (because he chose escaping but escaping did not choose him) and taken back to bishop Charlie

And what does our kind and lovely bishop Charlie do? "Bro, you forgot the silver candle holders I gave you too"

And he makes Valjean promise to be good

Valjean steals money from a child with a marmot and that's his breaking point

All horror is put behind him and he endeavors to be better than his past

What is his past you may ask?

I know this is all explained during the events but I like the logic of my timeline

Valjean is named after his dad, Jean Valjean, and let me tell you his childhood backstory confused me for a moment after reading that

But he grows up poor and he's a bit withdrawn, but he's kind enough - he pays for milk his nephews and nieces steal on a regular basis

But when Valjean gets hungry and steals bread, that's a crime worth five years in prison

Five years! For bread! That he didn't even get to eat! Dude I'd be pissed and full of vengeance at the system too

So he goes to prison and keeps trying to escape, and fails, and is now stuck there for 19 years

Hugo lets us know that Valjean is the strongest prisoner of all. Also he can climb horizontal walls like Spider-Man (or Dracula) which - Valjean, you have to be the absolute worse at escaping if nature gave you everything and you're still getting caught

Finally though after 19 years he gets out and rages against The System

Me too dude, I genuinely don't blame you

I do question the stealing silver plates from the one man to show you kindess

I do also question you stealing money from a child with a marmot

But his soul gets a whole cleansing thing when he realizes what he's done and bishop Charlie's words come back to him in a flood of remorse

Bishop Charlie really did look at this angry, sullen, vengeful criminal and go "I can fix him"

I have so many unanswered questions. I have no idea if I'm pro-Valjean or not. Hugo also does a really good job showing both sides of his predicament, how he is both "the man and the beast" and it's a battle for him to see which one wins, and how the prison system has exacerbated the problem it proclaims to fix. I don't think Hugo is a prison abolitionist, because at the end of the day he does blame how Valjean reacts and not the structure itself, but seeing some level of critical dissection of the whole thing was unexpected, but not unwelcome.

I used a spider web pattern From the Clip Studio Asset Place by saturns_day. I just layered it a bunch.

Whoo! Psychonauts! Anyways, I don't know if it's been done before, but ever since PN2 came out, I had this visual in my head of Raz getting to Helmut's mind and, since it hasn't been touched in 20 years, it's just a forest of mental cobwebs. I know mental cobwebs aren't in PN2, and if they did this they'd need to address the loss of Raz's cobweb duster, but I think it would make sense and be a cool visual, so I drew it.

To ja! Drugi dzień z rzędu! XD

Zacznę od kota i ode mnie. Zważyłam się z nim i potem siebie samą (moja waga nie łapie takich niskich wartości, a poza tym już widzę jak grzecznie na niej stoi xD) żeby ogarnąć ile waży dokładnie — wyszło 5,2 kg. A siłą rzeczy znam też moją wagę, która wynosi równe 45 kg, w tym ja, piżama, szlafrok, kapcie bo kuźwa zimna ta waga, śniadanie i herbatka. Czyli... No nie przytyłam, delikatnie mówiąc. Chociaż spodziewałam się czegoś innego. Nawet wmawiałam sobie że jestem na to przygotowana psychicznie. Nie byłam, ale co tam xD. Przynajmniej pierwszy raz od Sylwestra 2019 moim postanowieniem noworocznym nie będzie utrata wagi. Jeszcze nie obmyśliłam ich dokładnie, ale na liście pewnie znajdą się rzeczy typu: zdać maturę, dostać się na studia, ogarnąć się. Konkretnie myślę też o wprowadzeniu czytania chociaż kilku stron w wyrku przed snem — to akurat wprowadziłam w życie już parę dni temu i, kurde, zapomniałam jakie to fajne i jak relaksuje :D. Grunt to nie dać się wessać w fabułę i odłożyć w miarę wcześniej, a nie siedzieć do 2 w nocy. Chociaż i tak lepsze to niż telefon.

Obmyślam też plany na Sylwestra. Wiem że siostra nie będzie mi towarzyszyć bo wybiera między trzema imprezami, to jej kolejnej nie mam co proponować 🙃. Rodzice chyba nawet też gdzieś wychodzą, a przynajmniej taki mają zamiar, choć jak znam życie i tak nic z tego nie wyjdzie. Ale mi to nic nie robi. Trzeci rok z rzędu robię fort z koców i maraton filmowy. I tu się waham, który wybrać: Spider-Man (wszystkie części oprócz tych z Milesem Moralesem), Fantastyczne zwierzęta i Harry Potter (oprócz 2 i 6 części bo oglądałam parę dni temu) albo kilka innych moich ulubionych filmów: Emma, Wichrowe Wzgórza, Titanic, Przeminęło z wiatrem, Sherlock Holmes i Sherlock Holmes: Gra cieni. Tutaj ankieta, proszę bardzo: (to wcale nie tak że po prostu chcę zrobić ankietę, ani trochę...)

(Nie wiem jak zrobić żeby trwała więcej niż 1 dzień i mniej niż tydzień, ale trudno xD)

Czy wysiedzę tyle godzin? Nie wiem, może nie. Zobaczymy. Na pewno zrobię duży fort (jak zwykle 2,5mx1mx1,2m) więc będę miała dużo wariantów pozycji od leżących, przez pół-leżące, po siedzące. Będzie dobrze. Jedzeniowo na pewno będzie popcorn, może frytki, o reszcie pomyślę. Do picia planuję colę zero (a jakżeby inaczej 🙄), Piccolo, piwo kremowe i może eggnog Hagrida. To ostatnie będzie zależało od tego czy ktoś łaskawy zgodzi się kupić rum — niby 18 lat mam to mogę sama to zrobić, ale nie mam dowodu, a na legitymację szkolną przecież nie będę kupować. Jutro mam w planach pojechać do fotografa żeby zrobić zdjęcie i sobie w końcu wyrobić dowód, ale nie wiem czy się na to zdobędę bo jestem strasznie niefotogeniczna i dosłownie słabo mi się robi jak muszę zapozować, uśmiechnąć się, a potem ocenić czy wyszło tragicznie, czy tylko brzydko. Jakby, wiem że najpiękniejsza nie jestem, ale wiem też że żadna ze mnie paskuda. Twarz mam po prostu przeciętną — szkoda tylko że na zdjęciach tego nie widać. I to nie jest subiektywne narzekanko, o nie... Nawet babcia przyznała że się wzajemnie nie lubimy z aparatem, a wiadomo że babcie słyną z komplementów. Jak nawet babcia mówi że brzydko to musi być naprawdę źle XD.

Dion stared at her for a moment still, before he turned back towards the satchel he'd been packing, the lamplight casting him and Frazie in a soft glow. "Someone needs to go after him." He muttered.

Frazie stepped forward. "In the middle of the night?" She grabbed Dion's shoulder, forcing him to look at her. "Dee." She tugged him up so he was standing, "Mom and Dad can handle this. Let's—"

"No." Dion shoved her off, grabbing her wrist. There was something indiscernible in his expression, his face hardened in a way that was different to his usual surliness. "Frazie, we can't—" He cut off, letting go of Frazie's wrist. "Look, I'll be quick, okay?" He glanced out into the darkness. "I'll follow Sugarcube's tracks, and I'll bring Pooter back by morning." He met Frazie's eyes. "I'll be back by morning, and Mom and Dad won't have to worry because they won't know."

Frazie huffed. She understood the sentiment, but that didn't mean it wasn't stupid. She grabbed Dion's arms. "Absolutely not. Pooter ran away—it's his own fault if he gets grounded into next year." Some part of her wanted to go with Dion, to run off to chase their little brother and bring him home before their parents ever even knew. But another part of her pointed out that the chances of actually catching up to Pooter in time to get him home by morning were slim, and there was the rest of the family to worry about.

But Dion grabbed the satchel anyway, slinging it over his shoulder before grabbing the lamp. It swung, making the shadows dance as he lifted it. "At least let me try." He asked. He looked at Frazie imploringly. "Please."

"Dion—" Frazie started—

"I'll have better chances catching up to him before he gets too far anyway." Dion cut in, "Because I'm already ready to go. Mom and Dad would have to wake up and go through the whole rigamarole of finding out and packing." He chuckled tersely, "Who knows how far Pooter could get by then?"

Ohhhh, Frazie thought, oh, you ass. Because he was right. He was doing something so utterly stupid and yet he still had the gall to have a point.

She glared at him. "I can only cover for your dumb ass for so long." She reminded him.

Dion opened his mouth, maybe to argue his point further, only to close it as Frazie's words hit. He stood there for a moment, stunned.

"The hell are you standing around for?" Frazie shoved him out towards the woods. "You better get going if you're going to catch up to him."

Dion nodded. "Right." He turned to leave, only pausing just long enough to mutter out a quiet thanks, Fraze before running off into the night.

Frazie shook her head as she watched the lamplight disappear into the trees. God, both of her brothers could be so reckless sometimes. She hoped Queepie would at least grow up with some sense.

"You better come back safe." She muttered into the darkness.

If they had superpowers what would they be?

Oh heck yeah! Super powers!

Dipper: I am thinking Doctor Strange or Zatanna-esque where he just straight up uses magic.

Mabel: For some reason due to Mabel Juice, I am thinking of Mabel doing something like Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6 where she has concoctions that do different things. Glitter smoke bomb is totally one of them.

Coraline: Leaning right into the water witch sort of idea. (Trying not to think Spider-man.)

Wybie: He is more like Batman where he makes gadgets and such to use!

Norman: The fact that he is a seer works very well. Now maybe being able to call on the ghosts to help him, that would step that power up a bit. Of course he hangs out with the ghosts when he’s not calling upon them. You need to keep the ghosts happy.

Neil: I’ve been trying to think, and the best I can think of is a sort of Danny Phantom sort of ordeal. He does use this power to play with his dog too.

I do probably have to come back for Neil though since Danny Phantom can be an MK.

Raz: He can already be a hero if he wanted to to be honest. If we wanted to step away from his normal powers though, I can see three options:

.Water hero

.Something relating to his telekinetic ball.

And of course he is also like Dick Grayson where he has his acrobatics.

Lili: She has a similar situation to Raz where she can straight up be a hero but, doing the same thing as Raz:

.Fire hero (very likely)

She also has her animal sidekick Herald.

Wirt: I’ve thought of several ideas for him (a My Hero Academia version with all of those limitations and a normal one.) and the idea I liked best is a plant based hero. He uses seeds to grow things and can talk to plants.

The My Hero Academia sort of one involves him using poetry to control the weather and plants. To do what he wants to do, the poem needs to mention it.

Greg: Definitely shapeshifting into different animals. He can now be the tiger he wanted to be.

Luz: Honestly her rune gig would be a pretty good power. An alternative idea would be where she is similar to the Hulk or Wolverine where she can turn into her demon form from the finale.

The Calamity Trio: They technically already have their anime hero forms as said in the show. If it was used again it might need to be dumbed down but yeah, crystal prophecy girls and I love them.
