When Fjord loses his powers and the first thing Caleb does is give him the fire glove and then the rest of the Nein start giving him weapons and shields and Travis (bc I’m pretty sure this is really Travis’s reaction and not Fjord) just goes “Oh no” and is clearly about to cry because friendship it just makes my heart very happy

it all comes back to fucking cognouza. the people of aeor couldn't teleport off the city during the collapse because of fucking cognouza. hundreds of thousands of people died in the other wards because of fucking cognouza. this is insane to me. nine hubristic motherfuckers managed to completely doom the rest of their entire city in a failed attempt to save their own asses. i'm chewing drywall.

i forgot laura’s pregnancy announcement, marisha sneezing so hard she cracked a rib, them being named The Mighty Nein, them getting their first magic item info card of the campaign, the first mention of The Gentleman, caleb’s “take them out take them out” backstory tease, the first appearance of the Bad Luck Bandits, them pretending to have “extreme syphilis,” them finding out jester's mom's whole deal, “the Ruby of the Sea is the best lay ever,” and the debut of Pumat(s) Sol all happened in the same episode

The fight between Louis and Armand was one of the best scenes of this entire show. The way they both knew where to hit each other exactly where it hurt. But Armand really clocked Louis with the “my daughter was my sister was my throw pillow when he wouldn’t look at me kindly.” The guilt of what happened with Claudia will forever haunt Louis, the look of utter despair on his face after was insane. Also the way Armand yelled “THE NAME”, I was floored. Their entire dynamic is sickening. They acted their asses off, Assad Zaman is slowly becoming one of my favourite actors of the current generation.
