The mystery agaricus patch I’ve been watching for a few days have been revealed to be Agaricus deardorffensis after preparing a spore print! I also looked at a few of them under the microscope.
It’s incredible to think that there can be thousands picked up with a small cotton swab; which means there’s almost a few billion in one mushroom (released every single day!)
Prints from the big fruit, the deformed duostipe fruit and a few choice phenos of more expected Huautla presentation
These r for my own collection, i intend to work on the lineage of the big fruit but have to work on the process as I keep at the mycojourney :) ive been watching Mycophilia Sage on YT and just followed his Patreon as free member, very cool mycopal that I suggest checking out for thoughtful discussions of mycowork and mycology overall :)
the concept of a spore print id so fucking funny imagine going up to your mushroom roommate snd being like god DAMMIT dave you came all over the fuckign floor AGAIN
