Everybody give it up for more cleaned up sketches!! This time it's characters that I have simply been thinking about recently that are not the main gang, yes I did get distracted while cleaning up my Shaphne sketches, yes this is the result now I must return to the caves to finish them.

"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules

i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen

and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway

We have a storage room South of Paris. Boxes full of books and a few objects gathered here and there. We go check once a year. I always look up this spot on the way. New art every year. The fence is closed most times, not that time, last September… I sneaked in. (As my SenSei Resa taught me) Detail, left. There was an artist at work on his ladder. Happy Holidays nerdsbians! And an early Happy New Year, too!

I had a short story idea for this image a la the "Adventures of Bering & Wells" series (the one I was chipping away at a few years ago), but just didn't have the time or focus to flesh it out. So, for now, I hope it's enough just to see these two shuffling along in Midtown New York mid-conversation (or argument? Who knows..). I guess I should thank that W train that turned into a Q mid journey, forcing me to walk across 57th street to catch the bus home. I wouldn't have experienced any of the holiday decorations otherwise, and the snaps I took of this plaza gave me ideas.
