Hey, this question has been bugging at me and it might have to do with how people on Amphibia reproduce. But how was it when Ivy and Maddie gave birth to Sprout and Marzi? Also how was Sprig when his tadpoles finally came into the world? And most importantly, were they both home birthed in the Plantar household or in a hospital in Newtopia?

That's something that woulda been nice to know either from the show or from Marcy's Journal but atm idk if Matt or the writers mentioned if the Amphibians are like us in that they give birth after gestation within the womb, or if it's like earth amphibians in that the eggs r released into water, etc. Due to their size, it's unlikely that they don't have that many offspring at once, one maybe twins+ at a time, since Sprig and Polly don't have other siblings or how there aren't that many other kids/tadpoles in Wartwood. So the best guess is that they are like us humans and carry their young and give birth but often only 1 offspring at a time (exceptions obviously with twins or triplets like the Flour triplets).

So then using that theory, Sprout and Marzi were born in the Plantar home (assuming that the Amphibians do water births and so the pond next to the Plantar's home is perfect) and Sprig became a weeping happy mess each time, vowing to be there for his kids and make sure that they grow up with him and their moms instead of without like him and Polly (not that that was within their control).
