since hybe keeps on mumbling how they don’t exactly know when to bring back bangtan because quote “BTS' share of overall revenue is not likely to be as high as in the past” and they will significantly deprioritze them (silly, delusional, eyeroll-worthy, oblivious, rude, greedy, foolish, the audacity: a damn rennaissance is about to happen! the whole fandom is emerging from the woodwork ffs), we need to take matters in our own hands getting everyone on board, enjoying what’s about to happen, and hype this calm before the very exciting storm up. in other words: silence, corporation! 

the ones that give and gave you all that money are talking now. we’re all still here! it doesn’t matter how much BTS will make because it would always suffice to keep them going (otherwise, they’d be long disbanded), nor is it of concern how old they are, what the trends may be, anything. it matters that they are back. full stop! as the phenomenon they are, and as friends, artists, cultural forces, support systems, as people. military is hard! plus, and that seems to be the good ole main concern: it even doesn’t matter how popular anyone else is by that time in 2025. or later because companies can mess anything up. man... we gotta stick together.

good for that other group or artist if things are happening for them. most idols barely make a living and have to repay huge debts. and besides: if, for instance, chungha drops a viral quality banger one week before BTS returns like it’s her fantastic baby i will do what? rejoice! because holy shit, two cool new songs! and hybe will still make cash anyway, as even more eyes are on the industry. and more old and new fans gather. who would have thought! even if BTS’ main market rivals perform amazingly: imagine how huge and buzzing the award shows and charts and switching on the speakers will be. this will be like spring. 

if bts not being on top is the worry — uh, how unrealistic — i guess hybe wants to insult everyone in this equation (and rage bait?!), even themselves: hilariously weak stuff right there. the golden eras of k-pop and music generally were marked by several great, bustling groups being excellent parallel to another anyway, with several contrasting trends emerging simultaneously. the bland eras had monopolies, a uniform look, meh production vibes, and nothing major happening 90% of the time, and the overall quality dragging everyone down, down, down. that’s not what we want! 

i want this thing blowing up like every group releases their gangnam style on crack all at once. my feed spammed with shiny thumbnails, fan cams, announcements, shows, reactions, like an LSD trip. any groups and solo artists dropping and bumping their hits nonstop ring ding dong style until the fans collapse from excitement and not keeping up. i want mutuals on my dash yelling “WHAT... I MISSED /THIS/ WHILE I SLEPT?!!” constantly again! period! i want my brain melting from all the viral dance breaks and catchy rap parts and insane choreography and new hair colors and the wildest ever beats. come at me! i think that fans can handle being blasted with fun music and novelty from all directions 😉 

cause, pay attention hybe honey, that’s what liking music is all about. even if fans prefer one artist/group over the other. yep, it is possible. who wouldn’t have a good time if all the big groups went off: there’s something furiously cool happening for everyone! a good kpop generation has a firework of big, BIG releases in a short(er) period of time, without overworking idols of course. and that’s what we need now, awakening from the slumber. bts’ military discharge is the starting signal for exactly that. hybe doesn’t know who they’re handling. they should be screaming “omg let’s gooo, look at them” the loudest! this shit is like the one piece time skip, hello? 

i can’t believe penny pinching is still supposed to be the problem. do they even know which group they’re talking about? just ludicrous. these 7 guys had and always have the midas touch. even yoongi who couldn’t even afford a single proper meal or the bus home from bighit is now worth a heavy 50 million bucks. there is no sense in fearing they’ll tank financially. hybe has zero trust and doesn’t know the fandom dynamics at all. as soon as jungkook even does as much as tie his hair back we are activated like purple sleeper agents.

even if bts totally fumbles and disappoints with the most awful regressive slop in history, a boring album, lost their spark, go through media turmoil, whatever, unless some producer totally goes off the rails and copies someone else word by word and note by note, it would be impossible not to pay attention to them anyway. i repeat. popularity and increasing revenue are never an issue with them. raise your hand, who thinks RM will greenlight a song that only two people enjoy and click on? hybe acts like the stadiums will be empty. does their CFO have amnesia? if the oasis reunion sells out in one hour, can you imagine what’s going to happen here?

i also don’t buy that they need a year’s prep time. far 2026 comeback?! many idols only took 2-3 months after military discharge. both sides are full of happy anticipation, idols and fans. yes — coordination, rehearsing, plans, tour, getting used to it all again, hair growing back, not rushing, subunits, hyyh anniversary, rest, military is an abrasive 24/7 job, other things also need organizing, i get it. but hell, yoongi once said he comes up with one or two songs each day. his head must be brewing with stuff that bts can drop in some considerable time, and i’m not being avaricious here. not to mention that namjoon probably has 10 poetry books worth of lyrics written in the meantime and will not hesitate to bring his writings to the table. 

if i was jimin my dancing feet would be dying to move in sync with everyone else sooner or later. i’d drop whatever content i wanted and enjoy being back. the audience reaction boost alone will accelerate everything, it might even be scary how much of a deal this will be. but basking in the early joy is the topic now! i want people theorizing like mad what’s gonna happen lmao, that’s the most fun! so let’s get this party started. we’re gearing up, there’s no stopping army anyway once it all gets going. and we’re cooking with imagination, too.

imagine a lead song that’s catchy like butter, lyrically hyped-up like the cyphers, dynamite-level impactful, a full-on banger like not today, adrenaline-laden like fire, and colorful like DNA. i’m not asking for too much, they’ve done it before. they are bts. it all comes down to who’s (co-)producing. that’s what i’m worried about. so my wish producer or force behind the scenes if hybe goes the american way (of course they will) would be someone pharell-esque. upbeat, refreshing, it has to match bts’ golden theme thread throughout their career. i wouldn’t mind the weeknd for a more melancholic B-side. 

it doesn’t have to be completely ice cream bubble gum at all, it could be anything in fact, and the new artistic direction remains to be seen later. the curiosity is one of the best parts. let’s focus on that! my feeling is that they slightly pick up where they left off, tie loose ends together, reprise their best elements as a tangent, and then present a whole new thing immediately. they’ve always been referencing with their work while innovating, this will be no different. yeah, the task of a whole new song/album carrying on the story is pretty difficult. settling in, too. i see why hybe thinks its risky, sure. i’d feel the pressure and required effort, too. but it’s bts! whatever they are cooking up will be of interest. i rest my case, this is going to be huge.

“We’re not symbols,” RM insists, as Jin feeds Jungkook a sparkly dumpling. “We’re just… us.”

A lie, of course.

They’re the myth that taught the world to burn, bend, and believe—together.

i want to talk about this parallel between dead boy detectives episode 6 and bts’ spring day music video — the hung shoes.

“in some neighborhoods, shoes tied together and hanging from power lines or tree branches signify that someone has died. the shoes belong to the dead person. the reason they are hanging, legend has it, is that when the dead person’s spirit returns, it will walk that high above the ground, that much closer to heaven.”

it is also a symbol of accepting your loss and grief, and moving forward, which is a notion that is found in the spring day music video.

there is a sequence of scenes that are tied together by this shot of hung shoes in dead boy detectives. first is monty, and the next is niko, fitting to the order of the loss of these characters.

niko was a prominently warm existence in edwin’s life. her nature must have felt so easy to him. niko’s way of seeing edwin and not having any judgements but rather allowing him to take his time with himself was possibly what edwin needed exactly during this time. he took so much affection from her, be it words and physical touch, both of which he didn’t get to experience much during his lifetime and ghost years.

edwin opened up to her in ways he felt comfortable and niko didn’t ask for more, and this kind of trust gave them both a sense of security and comfort.

like niko, even if it doesn’t look like it, monty helped edwin figure out a lot about and be less ashamed of himself, and consequently get closer to his true self. edwin said so when he was trying to confess to charles, that monty awakened some feelings in him. maybe those feelings also included self-acceptance.

yes, monty was a caged bird but he was also free of the burdens that edwin had his whole existence. he instantly brought out something edwin mostly didn’t know existed. monty’s courageous spirit might have helped edwin cope with said burden a bit easier.

niko and monty both died painful, sudden deaths and their friends couldn’t even mourn them properly. i believe these shots may be honoring their place in their friends’ hearts.

BTS below the thing

This is my longest story so far, and it’s been a journey to reach the summit!

I first started to see the outline for this after I read the word “Virgin” in On Domestication of Masters by Sheepwave and The Section (4WheelSword). Frida is wildly different kind of virgin from Amber, but the word itself and the idea of trying to preserve this arbitrary purity planted a seed. I couldn’t stop imagining the naive virginal kind of person who would present such a polar opposite to the sexual liberation of the compact.

From there, I began to build the world of Heavens Hold from my past experiences with a sorority cult (calling people Big and Little is REAL) and I also pulled from other existing cults to create a kind of religious dystopia.

The thing about cults and religious extremism is that it often turns the purest people into the worst betrayers, so it was important to me that the MC only be innocent in the ways that the cult values while still having dimension and flaws.

The other significant themes of this story are worship, corruption and CNC. Besides being extremely hot, I think they serve to provide a kind of meta exploration of HDG as a whole. If personhood asks “what if we make the disability narrative explicit”, the ascent asks “what if we made the non-consent narrative explicit”.

Amber is a character who likes violation, a feeling that many of us can relate to but not often see spelled out in the stories. By making this her primary kink, I was able to construct several scenes that play with NC and CNC from different angles as she becomes more and more corrupted, starting with a pretty straightforward assault, moving into a scene where she deliberately chooses to forget consenting, then ending with scenes where she participates as the violator of another.

I also included a deeply surreal scene where she is a fig that gets assaulted by a wasp as a metaphor for being implanted. I don’t know why I found that as thrilling as I did, but it happened.

Originally I called this “Amber’s Awakening” after “Spring Awakening”, but it felt far too clunky, and not the kind of title I could pull from in the prose. So why is this “The Ascent” and not “The Descent”? While I reserve the right to use that name for a follow up story, I fundamentally reject the idea that becoming a sexually liberated person is a lesser state. By going on this journey, Amber becomes a better person.

I use the imagery of ascent continuously, first with her being abducted onto an orbital ship, then through several suspension bondage sequences, and I think it’s vital that her story is viewed not as a corruption into depravity but a corruption into enlightenment. The name is also a reference to the song of ascents from psalms 120-134.

I make a lot of explicit biblical references in the story, but the biggest ones are Psalm 23 and Psalm 32. Psalm 23 is the verse misused by Eugene to justify his power, because Heavens Hold is like a deceitful version of the compact. It’s a comforting section of the bible, painting an image of a beautiful place where you are looked over without fear. This is the reality the Affini ultimately grant to Amber. Psalm 32, which Amber has branded onto her is a comfort of a different kind, the comfort of confessing your needs and being loved and forgiven and accepted. It represents her acceptance that she likes it. It also includes the obligatory HDG horse joke!

That post you made about hoping there was an intimacy coordinator on the THK set actually made me wonder if those are even a thing in Thailand (simply because I don't recall intimacy coordinators ever being mentioned in any bts content for the shows I've watched). I also say that because idk how long they've been common in the west either. In fact, the first time I ever learned of their existence was a few years ago when I watched bts videos for a western show I was into. Before that I just assumed the actors either followed the script (as in, the intimate scenes were already written in great detail in the script, enough so for the actors to go off of that) or just went with the flow/improved (in cases where the writers/director trusted them to understand the characters enough to do a great job with it). 💀 But I definitely agree with you that there should be an intimacy coordinator on THK at least for the kinky scenes because that's a lot to be asking of your actors to do on their own, even if the script is detailed. 🙃 However, as I said, I wonder if they even utilise intimacy coordinators in Thailand, as I feel they're more a (recent-ish) western thing.

okay, i actually didn't have an exact answer for when intimacy coordination became more of a thing in the west, either, cause i actually only became more aware of it a couple years ago when they were using one at my college for spring awakening (if you know ANYTHING about that musical, you know it needs a fucking intimacy coordinator), but! according to my googling, intimacy coordination actually became more of a thing after the #metoo movement back in 2017, so it's actually only really been a thing in the west for less than 10 years, and even then it's not an industry standard unfortunately.

that being said, i figure it's not as much of a thing in thailand from what i have seen because in addition to just now doing a little googling and seeing a thai director very recently mentioning he thinks he's one of the first to use one in thailand, i've heard a concerning amount of actors talk about how they've improvised intimate scenes (fk and freenbecky in their respective first time couch scenes in only friends and gap come to mind). and sure, it could be like a fanservice thing, but also given how common it actually is for directors to tell actors to just wing it when it comes to intimate scenes, i wouldn't be shocked if they really are just telling these actors to go for it. which is personally very conflicting to me because i've been educated on intimacy coordination and even worked with an intimacy coordinator myself for a show i was in, so i know how important that is to do for your actors first hand... but at the same time man do i love that sandray couch scene! though, arguably, it could have been even better if they had had an intimacy coordinator, cause it's not like actors aren't allowed to give suggestions in those incidents, so fk could have still had some involvement in how the scene went, y'know?

that being said, though, i did speculate back when our skyy 2 was airing that they used an intimacy coordinator for the eclipse episodes because in the kiss at the beginning of ep2, you can see khaotung tapping against first's neck, which i interpreted as him tapping out the beats, and you can find that post here. also, i don't remember what show it was from (bed friend maybe?) because i didn't watch it myself, but i had a friend point out that the intimate scenes looked almost choreographed - which is a good indicator that they were likely using an intimacy coordinator, since intimacy coordination at its core its very much choreography, a lot of the time it's broken down into beats in order to time things out and make the actors more comfortable. that's all speculation, though, cause i don't know for sure whether an intimacy coordinator was used for either of those

however, like you said, with scenes like the ones we're gonna see in the heart killers there absolutely needs to be an intimacy coordinator for stuff like that. honestly, i'd argue that there should be regardless of what kind of sex is happening on screen - if your characters are having sex, there should be an intimacy coordinator - but i understand that it's not an industry standard even in the west where it's more common and a lot of directors don't recognize how important it is. and for certain things, i recognize a director is likely to give more detailed instructions to help the actors feel more comfortable, but it's always just better to have someone that does that sort of thing professionally to step in and help - especially because again, the actors and the director are allowed to communicate their ideas for how they want the scene to play out. the intimacy coordinator is there to ensure everyone is comfortable and basically that no one gets traumatized. and i will preface this with the fact that i love jojo, i do, however the fact that he let fk just improvise the couch scene does not give me high hopes for the way the bdsm scenes were handled on set. and i mean, obviously we know that fk are close and have a lot of love and trust for one another, they have a history of these kinds of scenes already, and likely does help when it comes to their comfortability and whatnot. however, it's still like. a whole other thing to be putting nipple clamps on your best friend and tying him down for a camera, yknow?

regardless, i am excited for those scenes, i just do hope we get some bts stuff that confirms they did use an intimacy coordinator yknow sjdkfsd

Nothing against Jack, he seems lovely, I just really want to see Joe as Moritz and he is the most visible competition rn. I don’t think there are any actual casting rumors atp, just fancasts and Steven comments and posts we’re reading into. Rachel is a popular Wendla fancast but idk if Steven has said anything about her. Steven talking about Joe as a possible casting, Joe repeatedly saying he wants to be in the movie, and them meeting up makes it feel like a little more than a fancast to me, like it seems like he could really be in contention, but no one actually knows where they are in the production or casting process. 😅 As far as I know. I think Steven has said he wants to cast “names” for Wendla, Melchior, and Moritz and unknowns for the rest of the cast, but idk if that’s still true.            Your face fell as you sat on the couch in your hotel room, staring at the picture you had asked Taehyung to take of you and Namjoon. You didn’t have any photos of you and your boyfriend, largely because paparazzi and Army didn’t know you existed. Which is how it had to be, and how you wanted it to be. But staring at the two of you, his arm around your waist, smile across his lips, you just stared.

           “It’s a cute photo,” Namjoon said, plopping down next to you.

           “Is it?” You asked, swiping to bring up the next photo. “Oh god,” You said in disgust.

           “What’s wrong?” He asked, zooming in on the photo.

           “Look at us!” You said.

           “I see it, I like it,” He said glancing away from your phone.

           “Well, yeah because you look hot 100% of the time,” You said, swiping to the next one. “Why did he take so many, and all of them suck?”

           “You look beautiful 100% of the time, and those photos don’t suck.”

           “No, I don’t,” You responded tossing her phone onto the couch.  

           “What is going on?” Namjoon asked, setting his phone on the coffee table and gingerly placing a leg underneath him so he could face you as you paced across the living room.

           “I look like, I look like a fucking whale,” You declared. The tears began prickling at the corners of your eyes and you blinked quickly to try and dissipate them.

           “Babe, you look beautiful,” He reassured.

           “Joon, stop.” You said, voice trembling.

           “I don’t know where this is coming from,” He replied, staring at you. His eyebrows were knitted together, unsure what his next move was supposed to be.

           “I just, I was looking forward to a cute photo of us, our first nice one, not stolen when you’re half asleep or doing something cute… Instead, I feel blind sighted by you and the whole fucking world,” That’s when the dam broke, tears cascading down your cheeks. You quickly wiped them on the sleeves of your favorite sweatshirt. It was baggy, ragged from a decade’s worth of comforting you in the darkest moments, it’s crinkling writing showing its age. Luckily the black sleeves didn’t show the betrayal you felt towards your body.

           “How did the world get brought into our photo?” He asked, still trying to find his place in your disdain.

           “Namjoon, what happens when the world sees us together? What happens when they know about me?”

           “I don’t know, they’ll be happy,” He answered. He’d thought about it, in terms of his contract and protecting her privacy. But the world seeing a photo of them? Wouldn’t they just be focused on how beautiful she is?

           “No, Joon. Part of Army will be happy. Part of them, a small part, will be encouraging others to be happy because you’re happy. The rest will be commenting on me,” You inhaled, trying not to deter your thoughts with the recognition you’re entering into a Kerry Washington style monologue. “They will be commenting on how I look. On how I dress, on why you don’t buy me nicer clothes. They’ll be sharing post after post about how you, Prince Namjoon, leader of their beloved, beloved, BTS, could be hand in hand with a woman like me.” You took in another quick breath, knowing if you breathed again a sob world overtake your entire body.

           “Babe let’s not think the worst,” Namjoon said, scanning your face for a sign of what he could do to help. He always thought Taehyung and Jung Kook were the most helpless members of BTS. He knew full well that many others thought he should be added to that group, particularly when it came to love and romance. Watching you pace, watching you try to hold in your cries, reminded him that they were right: he was clueless.  

           “It’s the truth, Joon! What do you think will happen?”

           “I, I don’t know,” He sighed. Admitting he hadn’t thought about it was worse than admitting he knew the reality. “I just want to protect you.”

           “They’re going to eviscerate me,” You stated.

           “No, they’re not,”

           “I’m a plus sized, biracial American. I don’t know what the Korean war was about, but Miss Saigon traumatized me as a child.”

         “Isn’t that about Vietnam? Madame Butterfly is Vietnam,” Namjoon held back a laugh.  

         “See! I don’t speak Korean. I clearly don’t understand the culture! I barely understand your music. I’m not white enough, I’m not black enough, I’m for sure not Korean enough. I have spent my entire life knowing that I have to work twice as hard to be thought of as half as good. Even then, my opportunities are given to me because I fit a quota, or I sound white enough to pass.”

         “Those are so many of the reasons I like you so much, I mean, not the passing part, I don’t know much about that,” Namjoon trailed off as he realized he probably needed to become more educated in African American history, at least to understand his girlfriend.

         “It doesn’t matter, Namjoon.”

         “Why doesn’t it? I think you’re beautiful. I think you are sexy and honestly, it’s a fact. The fact is, you are beautiful. Stunning, your eyes, your heart…”

         “Do you know what it’s like to feel unpretty? To feel ugly?” You asked, arms tight across your chest.

         “I, yes,” He said.

         “To be told by every film, every magazine, every doctor, that your body is wrong. To walk through life with people giving you glances when you eat a cookie, wondering if you’re already diabetic, applauding you when you exercise, shaming you when you can’t fit into a size large. Do you know what it’s like, to try on clothes and realize they don’t carry a size that fits your body? And having to tell the sales associate that no, you don’t want the bigger size because it doesn’t exist?”

         “Babe, I’m so sorry,” Namjoon stared. He didn’t know the photo Taehyung took would open you bare.

         “To wear your retainer for 15 years to ensure your face is still pretty because your body isn’t?” You felt the sob before it roared out of you, tears sending you to your knees. You hadn’t planned on baring you soul to him or parading your insecurities around like a diamond engagement ring. It had just overwhelmed you, not just the photo, but the thought that someone could find it. You were confident that Big Hit was doing their job to ensure your safety, and Namjoon’s, but there were people out there bent on finding the cracks in BTS. The idea that a private moment, a photo you really did love, would be tossed around, sent to gossip mag after gossip mag, commented on by millions, crashed into you like a train. So here you sat, on the floor, tears and snot barreling down your face.

         “If they don’t tear me apart because I’m not Asian, they’re going to tear be apart because I’m a fucking size 18.”

           “Then, why don’t you work out with me?” He gasped the minute the words came out of his mouth and scrambled to sit next to you on the floor. “I didn’t,”

           “No, you didn’t.” You looked up at him, not realizing he was now next to you, arm beginning to pull you to him.  “I don’t want to fucking exercise with you. Look at you! Would you want to?” You made an excellent point, “Oh wait, you already do with the 6 other members of BTS. I saw the way they looked at me, Joon. When I first met them… They looked at me like I was another American stereotype. The fat black girl. And I’m fucking not,”

         “I know you’re not baby, you’re so strong, and flexible,” Namjoon said, peppering kisses on your cheek.

         “Don’t try to turn this into sex,” You responded, touching your ear to your shoulder in an attempt to sway him from kissing the exposed skin of his neck.

         “I’m sorry. I don’t know what to say other than I love your body.”

         “I love my body to,” You said.

         “I love that it houses you, your brain, your thoughts, your sense of rhythm, your laugh.” He smiled as he continued, “I love how it feels in my hands, cuddled next to me on the couch, your hand in mine. I love that it holds your heart, your kindness, your empathy, your deep understanding of others. I love that it holds me, when I need it, when I’m falling short, it never turns me away, no matter how long I’ve been gone from it.” He kissed your temple, grateful that you let him hold you so close.

         “I am really flexible,” You said, tilting your head to meet his lips.

         “You do Barre, which I have done twice and never again because I couldn’t walk the next day! You tap dance! I still don’t understand how you make those sounds with your feet. And, baby you sing.”

         “I can sing… Mostly,” You said nodding. Your singing was something Namjoon knew, and only Namjoon. You barely opened your mouth in front of the other members, unless it was to rap a song you knew 100%. That was one of the first things Namjoon had fallen in love with, the fact that you could spit Kendrick Lamar lyrics better than he could.

         “Your body is amazing,” He whispered.

         “Joon, I love my body. I love myself. I am my own best friend.”

         “I know, which is why I’m so lucky you share it with me,”

         “I’m smart as hell, I’m funny as shit. And, let’s not forget: my charm.”

         “So much charm, more than Jimin,” He said, smile creeping back onto his lips.

         “I’m not willing to open myself to criticism or put you in a position to defend me. I am strong on my own. I will not be shamed for my body or my looks or some superficial comment from someone I don’t know. But I’m scared that they, Army, columnists, paparazzi, media in general, is going to find a way to weasel its way into my psyche and make you see me differently or make me see myself differently. I’ve worked my entire life to love my body and I am scared that they will take it from me,” You said, the temporary drought having been good to your tear ducts, giving them time to refill their stores to surplus.

         “I know that feeling,” The crimson of his sweatshirt had leapt to paint streaks across his cheeks.

         “You do?” You whispered.

         “Of course. You haven’t read our contract… But we’ve been a band for over ten years? You’ve seen the tweets, you’ve seen the look changes, the outfits… I have spent ten years next to Taehyung and Jung Kook, not to mention Suga and Jimin or J-Hope. How can you forget Mr. Worldwide Handsome? I know what people say, I can’t help but hear it. At first, it was hard. It was hard to conform, to create an image that I didn’t feel like I belonged to. It’s still hard. What do I have going for me?”

         “Joon,” You kissed his cheek briefly.

         “I hear what you’re saying, about how others view you. They view me too, with criticism and judgement. Korean beauty standards are out of this world. I don’t have the features that they love, that they praise… And I know it. They make sure I know it. But I get to live my dream, I get to create music and support my family because of the band. I get to do it with my brothers, and it makes me feel strong, because I am,”

         “Do you feel sexy? Or handsome?” You asked.

         “Sometimes,” He said, interlocking your fingers.

         “Joon, babe,” You straightened your back, staring into his eyes.

         “I feel that way because you make me feel sexy and wanted. You like me no matter what my hair is, or what I’m wearing, or if I’ve spent two hours at the gym,” The crimson returned, this time in result of your kind words, and turned into a blush, gentle and sweet.

         “All those things you like about me?” You cooed, a hand under his chin, tilting it towards you.

         “Yeah?” He questioned, eyes meeting yours.

         “I like those things in you, too,” You said.

         “It’s hard though,” He responded.

         “Namjoon?” You asked.

         “Yes?”

         “Thank you,” You squinted your eyes, memorizing the way his expression relaxed.

         “For what?” He wondered.

         “For listening to my insecurities and not belittling them,” You said, squeezing his hand.

         “Honestly, I was worried I was fucking up the whole time,” He let out a chuckle.

         “No, you did great. And thank you for sharing yours with me.”

         “Thank you for listening,” He met your gaze.

         “In case you’re curious, you’re sexy as hell, and not only because your body is banging,” You said kissing him quickly and standing up.

         “Where are you going?”

         “I need to wash my face, too much snot and tears. You want to join me?”
