This housework thing is really getting in the way of all my loafing about writing time :(
#talkin' malarky#not that i would necessarily be writing but y'know#i know sunday is my housework day but there's so fucking much#dishes; mostly washed/dried/put away just the pans to go#old laundry back in the drawers/new load in#still need to strip my bed and change it#and do a food shop??#and back at work tomorrow hahahaha god damn#i realise I'm only working three days this week but it's the principle of the thing#oh i should also go outside at some point it's nice out#... i also really should clean some shelves in here that's not been done since uh. maybe since i moved in.#spring cleaning i guess!!#we can write this evening if I'm not asleep lmao

#I've been doing some gradual spring cleaning over past couple of weeks#feels nice I've got a lot of my closets and cabinets organized already#but today I've been just hella tired and shiftless and achey and it's already half past seven#so I guess I'll leave cleaning the freezer for tomorrow#a cool thing happened earlier this week I managed to buy a carved water buffalo skull for 20€#they're usually pretty pricey several hundred euros at minimum#been stressing about summer getting closer#and whether I should partake in art fight this year or not#it's fun but I always end up overwhelmed#really thrilled that it's no longer freezing outside and there's so much light it's really boosting my energy levels#eagerly waiting for the bike lanes to thaw#answered#anonymous

On one of my usual walking routes there's a pair of mannequin legs out in the front garden of one house and today they were standing in and topped with snow
There's nothing else to this really but I do enjoy someone having a pair of very shapely mannequin legs that cut off at the lower torso out in all elements. If no one else got me the mannequin legs on [redacted street name] got me
#honestly they are aspirational legs#quite well endowed which i guess will sell pants?#like damn dude youre just out and about like that 😳#please im an innocent person i can't be exposed to such things#(lmao)#in the spring/summer they have a planter on top of them#which is also very good because then walking plant with a nice ass#but right now they are just cold and stoic#i would have taken a pic but my phone camera wasn't working#it wasn't anyway but then i did drop my phone in the bath yesterday and so possibly now is completely dead#i knew it was a danger but i like being on my phone in the bath too much to quit#mannequin legs i salute you and your well sculpted and impressive but featureless bulge#maybe ill do fanart lmao#i keep not drawing so it wont be good but it might inspire me to clean the millimeter of dust off my tablet#i like money but i wish i had the energy to do much besides eat and sleep outside of work

just finished the last step of decluttering my room 💪why did i have so much stuff 💪
#i started this project like#3 weeks ago?#all i wanted was a spot to put new books because of the b&n opening up in town#and that lead to me spending... so much time in clearing out cluttered spaces#and so much money in getting another bookshelf AND a more functional dresser AND a hamper/hanging rack#my sister got my old one its not broken it was just literally collecting dust and junk in the corner. i wasnt using it#new dresser will be coming in this week so i had to get it done#i took out...... maybe 5? 6? full trashbags of just stuff i didnt need and clothes i never wore#i found things from a decade ago. theyre gone now#spring cleaning came early i guess#i dont know if ive got hoarding tendacies or if i just. put things in boxes and forgot about them. but i gotta do better about that#ANYWAY my room is clean now and ive done minimal rearranging but the stuff i did move has made A Difference#this is both better for my brain and better for when we move out in the ??? future#less stuff to sort and pack

Sent out a message to my housemates during my lunch break last night that read, approximately,
"I'm about as sure as I can be that this respiratory thing we all have is viral bronchitis. I would feel better knowing everyone had spent about 15 minutes in deep contemplation before bed tonight deciding if they need to call the doctor tomorrow morning ahead of the weekend."
#we're all getting better VERY slowly#I took some PTO next week to try and get a jump on spring cleaning and guess what is almost certainly not happening#because bronchitis is one of those things that goes poorly VERY quickly and very messily if you push yourself too hard as you recover#stop b think of the children
