Lost in the woods AU Once a upon a time when you was younger. They got lost in the woods at girl scout camp. Being the loner of the girl scout group no one quite noticed that you have disappeared. Crying on one of the many dirt paths you meet young cryptid sun and moon. With their help you return safely back to your girl scout group but curious about the cryptids you would continously seek them out. Over that month you and the cryptid boys forge a friendship. But as all good things it must come to an end. But you promised you would come back soon but soon they fade into just a long forgotten memory.

Fast forward you are celebrating that Vanessa has graduated Park Ranger training and is now a Park Ranger at Fazbear's nature park; that used to be the girl scout camp you went to as a young child. (can't say national because they are a for profit.) But Vanessa has been acting strangely ever since she started the training but Vanessa would never do anything shady....right? Unfortunately your naivety your good friend Vanessa is planning to sacrifice you to her good lord and savior Springtrap. close ups and tidbits

Cryptid Sun: 🎇The more "nicer" of the two. 🎇He hides toys in his chest cavity to help try to calm down children. He tried it with Y/N but it just made Y/N more confused and panicked. 🎇Can summon fire sprites from his chest cavity. Often times this would be how he guides lost hikers/children back to their camps versus showing himself. 🎇When angry his face will be engulfed in flames. but do not fret he will be fine once he cools down his temper. This rarely happens but moon is very good at pushing his buttons. 🎇is the less upset one out of the two of them of Y/N not remembering them. 🎇 Him and moon learned how to speak and write through reading the horse books left at the girl scout camp. So they have an unusual amount of knowledge about horses. 🎇Can sense what is happening through the forest through the roots and can travel through the roots to whatever location he pleases at the National Park.

Cryptid Moon: 🌙The more "aggressive" one of the two. (he just thinks he is just blunt and to the point.) 🌙He is currently trying to fly under the radar ever since a hiker stumbled upon him feasting on his meal. (whether it was human or not is up for debate. Ask him and he will just chuckle.) 🌙His wings got singed back when Sun couldn't control his fire sprites. He got back on him by putting a bunch of termites in his bed. 🌙Is the more upset one out of the two that Y/N forgot them. Especially when they grabbed Y/N to play with them in the sky for Y/N to panic and get dropped in the lake by accident. 🌙Moon was the first cryptid for Y/N to stumble upon when they were young as well as adults. 🌙Moon is a huge sucker for anything sweet whether they would like to admit it or not is up for debate. 🌙If Moon is the one guiding hikers back he would usually scare them in the direction they need to go. but with children he tries his best to make himself not as threatening(doesn't work half the time) and guide them while holding hands. (big softie)

Y/N: 🐈‍⬛ remember sun and moon a bit but more of just chalking it up to imaginary friends. They do have a birthmark on their neck which he showed to sun and moon as kids. but in general very secretive about it. ���‍⬛is in transitioning and uses he/they pronouns. 🐈‍⬛very prideful of their pitiful t-stache. but a stache is a stache. 🐈‍⬛has a HUGE fear of heights which is why they panicked when Moon picked them up like they were besties. 🐈‍⬛gets easily lost so it constantly keeps getting lost in the woods. and Vanessa's cryptic directions aren't helping him at all. 🐈‍⬛is training as well to be a park ranger like Vanessa. He has known Vanessa for a few years before she started acting very secretive and a bit unstable. 🐈‍⬛is a lot more chill with Sun but that might change after he stumbles upon Sun enjoying a meal. they are slightly terrified of both but Sun and moon just want to hang out with their bestie(?).

Ooo Pancake? Why yes, yes she does!! And a lot, actually. I'll TRY to keep this relatively short.

Pancake is my self insert/persona and I use her for almost everything. It's all Pancake in different universes. And there's two backstory categories that they all fall under: Demigod and Poor Teen.

But before all that, Pancake is a hybrid between an alien called a Terrorvant, and a human.

They are MASSIVE, some reading a size that's five times larger than a blue whale. And Pancake can only reach ten feet. They also have shape and color shifting abilities, though some traits will still poke out. And they have acid blood. That they can shoot from their mouths. At high temperatures and velocities. They are VERY protective of their loved ones. They'll make friends and let others make friends, but if someone threatens them or a loved one, HEAVEN HELP THEM. Pancake had inherited this.

Let's start with: DEMIGOD!!

AUs this is a part of: Leave Death to the Professionals, I Scammed Death, and a couple others, I can't remember

Leave Death is the base universe where Pancake is from. All the lore bits and whatnot are from here. It's where Skittles is too. Pancake accidentally slipped and ended up killing herself, and through Death, found out she was a Demigod. And a necromancer. There's loss of morals, humanity, letting herself indulge in things she never could because there's no ultimate consequences. She is a nightmare, a menace, and be wary if you piss her off

I Scammed Death:

My self ship with Spamton. Pancake falls into the Cyber World and stays there indefinitely with her trash husband. How sweet :3

And now for the others: POOR TEENAGER. This one has no demigods or Skittles or anything else. Pancake and her friends like to ghost hunt, explore abandoned buildings, and try to summon ghosts. The summonings are typically uneventful, but they still have fun. Pancake, however, found an old book in a library about necromancy. Being silly, she took it to her friends and wanted to try the hardest spell. It wouldn't work, they felt, and there's no repercussions if they fail. Safe. Except she did the spell perfectly. And she's now a necromancer who can't die, can talk to the dead, and is having an existential crisis over it. A lot less dramatic than the Demigod category, but it fits into certain AUs better. Such as:

UNDEAD4UNDEAD: An AU where Pancake and Springtrap are together. (Ask me about this one cuz there's a LOT here). Pancake somehow can't leave the cursed Freddy Fazbear's franchise. It always comes back to haunt her. And she ends up getting a literal rotten boyfriend out of it

MSA/PANTHUR: This one is slightly different, on account she became a necromancer in her adult years. Her friends died in a caving accident, and she learned necromancy to bring them back. Unfortunately this never fully worked, as they moved on and she became a slasher. How she's a part of the Mystery Skulls is a mystery. But she's not knocking it. It also allows her to move on.

PORAL 2/OTCORE: Pancake was a scientist-turned-test subject. Because of her dad's genes, she had an advantage over the other subjects. And to compensate for this, the scientists cut off her spines, wings, antennae, and tails. And then put her on ice. And then GLaDOS killed everyone else. She takes place of Chell in this AU, and ends up with three boyfriends. She has no idea how. She lost her memory, has inexplicable phantom pains, and instincts she can't ever describe. Surgery scars are all over her body and she doesn't know why. It hurts. Existence hurts. And she doesn't know why.

STARCAKE: everyone knows this one. Pancake falls into the Underground and eventually marries a cowboy. Not much here!!!

And now for others cuz they're in completely different universes

CULT OF THE LAMB: Pancake is the Lamb. She had to disguise herself as a cat for years after her home was destroyed. She learned Glassblowing, was found out and killed, and became the next God of Death. Her horns are glass, warm to the touch, and unbreakable. Her husband, is indeed, Narinder!

RAIN WORLD/FRUITSLICE: Pancake, AKA Fury of Neglected Ghosts, aka Ghost, is the senior in her group. She had to leave with her sister eventually, and met No Significant Harassment, as well as the others. She's MASSIVE for an iterator. Strong too. She has killed Leviathans with her bare hands. She acts cold and distant. She just doesn't wanna be hurt.

HOMESTUCK: Yeah. Fuchsia blood hiding as. Not that. And she's a nightmare too.

Anyway that's it. There's a LOT more but I haven't developed enough for them. And I hit my image limit. Hope this is fun!!

The Musical AU... here are the songs and descriptions for each of the ones for the first segment of it all:

(1) "Change of Fate": The opening song. Springtrap, emerging from what remains of the attraction, has quickly become quite smug, given that the plan from the strange guard had managed to set up.

Throwing out some interesting plans of his own, Springtrap leaves, allowing the ruined attraction to be discovered by everyone else.

(2) "(Almost) Like Before" Follows a (still) overjoyed Springtrap as he's wandering through the streets, the woods, etc. Somewhat of a montage as he encounters one person after another, causing more chaos and fright.

(3) "Lost Connection/Old Friend": Henry's introduction. While lamenting about... a lot, including what Afton used to be like, and what he's like now, it's clear that Henry Emily is hard at work on a plan of his own.

Additionally, it seems as if he's managed to hear rumors of a strange rabbit-like creature wandering about.

(4) "Simple Flickers": Returning to Springtrap, when his wandering happens to bring him back to more familiar surroundings, memories begin seeping through, easily sticking to him. Too bad that said memories happen to include the springlocking and such.

Increasingly growing distressed, Springtrap tries to deal with what is resurfacing, all the while still wandering, until...

(5) "Bittersweet Recollection": Springtrap has stumbled across his former home... it's not been lived in for quite a while. While the other memories remain fresh, he begins to wander throughout it, taking notice of everything--and how it's gone unchanged.

Ultimately, he heads back out, not wishing to stay very long. It certainly messed with his trip a bit.

(6) "No Longer Mine": Scrap Baby's introduction... who happened to be not that far from the old building, it seems. Having been wandering for so long--much longer than someone else--there's a lot that she's been up to.

Which includes simply taking the time to think... too bad, unfortunately, that quite a lot of her memories have faded, or simply feel... incorrect, in a way. She's been stuck controlling Circus Baby for a long time.

Springtrap stumbles across her.

(7) "Guess Who?/That Day" Having a reunion with one another... well, there's a lot to unpack--especially given that Scrap Baby hadn't a clue as to this having happened to him.

There's... a lot more that Springtrap is focused on, especially his plans, but he still makes the attempt to convince Scrap Baby to travel alongside him... while there's something that she's been wanting to tell him.

By the end, the two head off together.

Bonnie "Ask Fazbear'n Friends" The Bunny refrence (2023) A Shy, sensitive soul. He likes to have fun and good times, but he struggles to make decisions on his own. He doubts himself and lacks much personal ambition, but is very quick and reasonable to work with, and eager to get on someone else's good side. He is naive and often thinks with his own emotions first, and hasn't really gotten the hang of empathizing with people yet- But beyond his doubt he is a surprisingly intelligent and thoughtful person when he puts himself up to it.

(Extra details) -He is 7''5, the second tallest of his group (unless you count Golden Freddy) -He is ABOUT 23 mentally, meaning his behaviors and common sense/intelligence are that of a 20-25 year old. (this is open to change however. Even their 'mental age' doesn't really count for them because they are robots and their lifespans are kinda not comparable to humans but if he was a human he'd be about that age...basically its just TO put an age on them but i consider them all more "Ageless") -(Also his lost memories are counted regarding his age he'd probably be older if he had his memories (bec more experience=more wiser ofc) -He is Bisexual but seems to have a preference for Chickens -His birthday was the day he was "awaken" for HIS first time. Gathering notes on Springpuppy AU Springtrap's appearance in one place.

Both of his ears are broken. The right one obviously as half of it is gone. The left one is intact but won't stay centered in its track. It can move to emote but at rest stays flopped to the side.

The left eye has lost its colored lens. The right eye still has the green lens, but it's faded and cracked. The lights still function and shine eerily in the dark.

The metal structure of his right leg is damaged, and he can't remain standing for long and can only perform a lurching, limping walk for a few feet. He opts to crawls on on fours most of the time.

He's in pain, but much of the time it feels sort of distant. It's the background noise of his body until something brings it into focus.

The human part of his body can't seem to decide if it's dead or not. It appears partially mummified but is soft to the touch. His flesh has a strange purple hue.

Some of his organs still function and others don't. His lungs inflate even though they're clearly punctured. Sometimes his heart beats.

He can feel with his animatronic parts. Whether it's real or in his head doesn't really matter. His ears and eyelids will move in response to his thoughts and emotions.

His human eyes are blind. He sees through Bonnie's eyes.

He doesn't bleed. He doesn't rot anymore. Some of his teeth have fallen out. Some that remain are broken. The ones still intact are surprisingly strong.

The Spring Bonnie programming "woke" first, activated by the sound of music and following its typical response to move towards it, apparently even through the ventilation. Afton's consciousness began waking while crawling through the ductwork.

It took much longer for his mind to fully recover and present itself (the actual brain having suffered at least some decay). He was slow to regain most of his memories, his brain prioritizing the Bonnie-related ones as that's who he believed he was.

He can't speak due to damage to his vocal chords from the spring locks and general decay and disuse. He can grunt, whine, and make raspy, metallic wheezes and screeches.

He doesn't have as much of his corpse exposed as canon Springtrap. The metal exoskeleton penetrating it at multiple points obscures it unless you're looking closely, and the tatters in the fur and gaps in the plastic shell of the Bonnie suit don't always or completely overlap.

His limbs and appendages especially aren't nearly as exposed, with most of the fur and shell intact on them, aside from the damage to the exoskeleton of his right leg.

The largest exposed areas are on his right shin, the left side of his chest, and the back of his neck where the head and torso of the suit meet.

The gloves and feet of the Spring Bonnie suit contain no exoskeleton parts, just wire mesh to retain their shape. They can be removed.

Harlan attempts over time to clean and cosmetically repair the suit though their knowledge and skills are limited. They attach buttons to keep the fur closed over the gap in his chest so his heart isn't constantly exposed. They replace his lost bow tie with a large purple ribbon. They also initially tucked car air fresheners into the gaps in the suit because while he's no longer actively rotting, the smell clung to him for quite a while.

Hey bet you're shocked by this because I never share my writing but I like this one so have something I just wrote from my AU where William's a ghost

Be warned I'm not a fic writer or anything and definitely not a professional either so uhhh I don't know how to post this properly

The gist before you start reading is that he kind of goes into a dream like state since his soul keeps getting pulled back to UCN hell where it should be

Oh also it's not like a what if he wasn't Springtrap this is if he was a ghost after all of that and during the Security Breach time

But anyway he meets "himself" in the red lake in UCN and has a chat with him

Just a Burning Memory

A head slowly rose up out of the static, crimson water.

Then came the body it belonged to, held up by its arms, placing itself upright.

This figure was a contrasted purple to the unnatural scarlet scenery.

A gnarled hand clutched the mess of hair on its head, as the figure let out a near silent groan.

Emerald green, dead eyes skimmed the surface of the lake.

That body of water, as well, was red like the rest of this strange world. It did not ripple when anything touched its surface, but possessed all the other qualities that a liquid would.

The figure rigidly stood upright, looking down at this water in curiosity.

He leaned over and touched a pointed finger to it, then the tips of the rest of his fingers.

At first, it felt like nothing. Not hot, not cold. No temperature at all. No wet feeling on his hand either. Almost like it wasn't there.

Until the figure closed his empty eyes for a minute.

A jolt of pain shot up through every non-existent nerve in his arm, and he could perfectly visualize the path it traveled. He felt the air stolen from the lungs not in his chest. His apparition of skin burned intensely like it was on fire. Every last part of him that should have been long decomposed was in excruciating agony.

The figure panicked and withdrew his hand, clutching his wrist. The look on his face spelled extreme confusion and distress.

It was only for a split second that he touched that strange water and felt everything that he did.

But it seemed like an eternity. It was like every injury over a lifetime all came back at once. Certain incidents that wrought havoc upon him, every cut given to him by others and his own hand, every slap and punch to the face...

The figure looked around him, past the cursed lake.

There was a strange building. A house? No... A restaurant?

It seemed to change shape as he looked at it, as though it did not have one true form.

All around everything else were dense forests of scarlet pine trees. He couldn't see anything past or within them.

There was a shore around the lake he stood in the middle of.

But there was no one else around.

At long last, a realization hit him.

"...No.

No no no. I remember this. I can't be here again, no!"

The figure hurriedly splashed through the red water, scrambling to get free from it. Though every so steps would be a mere falter that nearly brought him crashing into the lake completely, he did not give up his fight.

Eventually, he leaped out and onto the red, grassy shore. Though he plummeted to the ground, he shakily lifted himself up again.

As his head turned upward, he found a pale white hand reaching out to him.

The modestly smiling person extending this assistance was strangely familiar.

His attire was rather fanciful, with a dress shirt and a star patterned bowtie, and a vest that had a coat tail on the back.

He was dressed in purple, rather than crimson. Waves of brown hair poured down from his head, tucked behind the ears and placed strangely across his forehead.

Though the lost soul on the grass knew precisely who this man was, he simply took the hand offered and allowed himself to be placed firm on his feet.

Only then, as he looked into the emerald eyes that mirrored his own, and noticed the uncharacteristic absence of gloves covering the stranger's hands, did his comprehension of this sight take hold.

"You...

You're... Me."

"Indeed.

The much better version, if I do say so myself."

The stranger placed a hand lightly on his broken self's shoulder.

"Just look at the mess the future has beaten you into.

You've become frozen into a distorted version of someone you pretended to be. Fitting of your nature, wouldn't you say so yourself?"

"...

Are you not already saying that?"

The ghostly figure was rather unimpressed with the remark. It was too close to a bad joke.

The other him was all but correct. The ghostly man was stuck in a tattered uniform that a security guard would have worn. It was loose fitted now, and there was even a giant bloodstain in the middle of the shirt. Though the badge on his chest was severely cracked and snapped, the name that nearly remained there was D. Miller. Dave.

But that was not his name.

Ignoring the question, he inquired to the one stood in front of him.

"So then, William.

Why do you think you have found yourself here?

... What a strange feeling, saying my own name to myself. That's not really something that could happen in reality, is it?"

His tone was calm, and even a bit light-hearted. As though he were just a friend the present him was speaking to.

"Pardon the satirical remark.

My question still stands."

The ghostly William crossed his arms.

"Whoever put me back in that god forsaken lake just wishes to torture me again, so I'll hazard the guess that it's for that.

Just for me to suffer for my actions.

Can't you forget the sarcasm or whatever that is? It's annoying."

William snapped back at his other self in exasperation.

The ghostly William snatched up the front of his other half's shirt.

"Oh, enough with your stupid questions! I don't care!!! All I want to know is why the bloody hell I have to be here yet again, and why I'm seeing myself as if I've absolutely lost my fucking mind!!"

But the other him only stared blankly.

"Answer me god damn it!"

Do you understand where you belong? That you should not exist the way you do?

You're a dead man. Brought to ruin by your own destruction.

And yet you turn your gaze away from what you should have met long ago."

A smirk crept up on his mouth.

"Why don't you give it a good look?"

Somehow, William did not notice that with every spoken word, he was slowly backed up by the figure that stepped closer. And closer. He soon stood right at the water's edge.

Until a hand placed itself upon his chest.

It shoved him down.

He grasped the arm trying to force him into the red lake, gritting his teeth to exert force with the muscles he did not have anymore.

His green eyes burned bright with fury in their black sockets.

All while the other him simply looked on blankly.

"Give up, Afton. Go where you belong."

"No! Never!! You'll never take me back!!"

Something was strange about that term of address.

For whatever that shadow of the past was, just why would he refer to himself that way?

He continued to grip the arm, his feet slipping closer into the water.

He suddenly lifted his leg and delivered a swift kick to the knee of his other half. It caused that version of him to falter. William used the opportunity to take full hold of the arm grabbing him, whip around his other self, and shove him into the lake.

He practically leaped onto him, forcing him down far into the water, watching it flood into his airways. The other him struggled immensely against the forcefulness. He tried to push the arms back himself, splashing the water with his flailing legs.

"YOU. You are the one that's GONE.

You're just the past. You are DEAD. I AM THE ONE STILL HERE.

SO YOU WILL ACCEPT YOUR OWN FATE."

William yelled in fury and strenuation as he kept shoving himself down.

But he did not expect what came.

As if in the blink of an eye, the figure before him took on a new form.

It was crimson, blending into the water.

But the round face, the wide figure, the ringlets of hair.

All of it belonged to someone.

To a person he loved and loathed. To a person that had too much and lost it all.

This person that shaped the trajectory of his life like a god fashioning clay into a living being.

He let go as his own figure flashed to reflect the one that was in the water a moment before.

"...Henry?"

And for a second, the crimson took on color.

Vibrant warmth. Just like the warm complexion and darkened blonde hair he hadn't seen for ages.

Dressed in comfortable garments of black and brown and blue.

Only his hazel eyes did not appear. They appeared to have a shadow cast over them by the wire glasses he wore.

The figure gently caressed him.

It brought him close, distracting him from the fact that he was slowly being turned back towards the water.

But he only placed himself above, to prevent it from happening.

He stared longingly into the eyes he could not see.

Memories seemed to come to him as he felt the water this time.

Many were fond and warm, picturing the moments they shared in the light and in the dark.

But then the painful remembrance gripped him.

Arguments. Anger. Condemnations. Convictions.

Loathing.

A burning flame that singed the mechanical and organic body he once had. Vengeance. And one final knowing glare as he watched the flames consume this man.

Though he loved and hated and desired and wished to destroy this one he caressed, he almost forgot about all the pain, as he became a reflection of the humanity buried within his soul. In fact, he forgot the static red world he was trapped in, remembering one from ages ago.

He leaned closely to Henry's lips.

The figure wrapped his hands around him.

William received the signal, and began to carry out his action.

But he was fooled.

The figure dragged him down, and though it caused their lips to meet, William was plunged into the water with a splash.

...

The ghostly man simply manifested and found his presence lingering in the depths somewhere in reality.

He was at the base of a stairwell that winded up a high distance. The modern lights around him dimly flickered at inconsistent intervals.

The moment he was tricked into was only stolen away from him.

He did confront his thoughts in that chaotic space, but the one he spoke to was not truly himself.

Or at least, not just himself.

Whatever part of him that cared in any way for the blurred figure in whatever dream that was, was repressed now. If William ever found him again, he'd only shove him into that water and drink in any intoxicating fear he may have showed towards the situation.

But what was it exactly? Could one who did not sleep call it a dream?

William believed for certain he could not.

As he looked down, his apparition still held the disheveled appearance it had in the "dream".

He opened his raised right hand, and closed his eyes.

He concentrated for a moment, conjuring up the energy and emotion within his projection.

A bright and dark purple blame burst forth. It twirled and danced on his fingers and palm.

He clutched his hand and the flame flew out quickly as it came to life.

That was right. He was dead after all.

Just a lingering spirit that had no intention to release his grip upon the waking world.

Alright, so!

The story takes place in the early 2000s. The basic story is that Michael finds his old man in the Fazbear's Fright and tries to understand what happened to him and make some connection, which is made difficult by the fact that William can only speak through the prerecorded voice lines from Spring Bonnie's voice box and has only the scraps of his old memories mixed up with delusions that make him think he IS Spring Bonnie. Henry is in deep distress and conflicted about what to do, Elizabeth wants nothing to do with any of that crap but is forced to deal with it, Charlie wanders around and Mike tries to figure out how to clean this 2m tall rotting rabbit. For reference, some character dscp.:

Michael Afton (born 1969)

After the mysterious disappearance of his father, Michael Afton tries to make sense of everything while also taking care of his sister. His only clue as to what might have happened to him is the decrepit pizzeria he'd owned and the long-cold murder case from the 80's. Desperate for answers and money (as his only source of income is his uncle), he gets hired at the new Horror Attraction that takes inspiration from the rumors surrounding his father's business.

William Afton (born 1942)

Recently discovered in an abandoned pizzeria, Spring Bonnie - now renamed Springtrap - was added to the cast of the newest attraction. Confused and alone, he roams the dark corridors, looking for anything familiar, until he stumbles upon the new security guard, who seems to wake up some old memories. Unable to distinguish reality from his delusions, he attacks the guard thinking it to be himself.

Elizabeth Afton (born 1973)

Injured and traumatized by her father's creation, Elizabeth grows cold and distant. Her brother's death and her accident make her despise anything related to Freddy's or the animatronics. Even under the care of her obsessive brother and uncle, she tries to lead a completely normal life free of anything dangerous or paranormal. She wants nothing more than to distance herself from her father's legacy.

Henry Emily (born 1941)

He's left with nothing. His issues started long before the murders or deathly accidents. After losing his daughter to the man he considered closest to him, from a kind if a bit awkward man he turned into a cold shadow of what he used to be. The only thing that keeps him alive is spite and the overwhelming need to find and beat the crap out of William.

Charlotte Emily (born 1971)

A lost soul trying to figure out how to help the others and the real reason for the whole massacre. She and the other spirits cannot rest until William is completely gone, but some force keeps him there no matter what she does. Her compassion and ties to William make it easier to see the man beyond the mosnter, which in turn makes it harder for her to make the final decision.

A rather simple one this time around: Could you go a bit more into Elizabeth Afton's relationship with her father, past & present? It is one of my favourite dynamics in the series, so I'm always curious to see how people handle it and/or interpret it fully.

Yeah sure! Their relationship is one that is probably a lot more different than how most fans interpret it, answers below as usual! (Also, sorry for the late response 😭)

So I guess in a simplified sense, she has daddy issues. She views William as an amazing person, seeing as he is a family man (an ABUSIVE family man), he has his own business (that he doesn't even care that much about), he creates robots or as she sees it 'living toys' (he doesn't even like making those either), in general she thinks he's wonderful, but he could care less about her.

When she was younger she believed that Will equally cared for her and her brothers and that he'd only treat Mike so roughly to discipline him and that he'd coddle Evan to make him feel better. It never hit her that he didn't even treat her in anyway at all. He never hit her, nor did he spoil her to an extreme, he did even lower than the bare minimum when it came to caring for her. Sure he'd buy her toys, only when she was whining so much about it, sure he'd compliment her high grades on school work when she kept insisting he'd look over it, he'd tuck her in bed at night only when she'd ask him to do it after he tucked in Evan. Any happy memories she had with Will were either self-deception or when she wanted him to be attentive to her. He sees her as a hassle to be around. Maybe sometimes she'd be good for manipulating.

His idea of her was half revealed a few days before Evan's birthday party. But instead of her realizing he doesn't actually give a shit about her, she interpreted as "my dad doesn't care for me because he's always stuck caring for my worthless little brother" she still idolized him to the same toxic extent as she did before, except now it was a little worse.

Anyways once Evan died, she assumed that now he'd focus all his love onto her, so she'd keep trailing him constantly everywhere he went, when she found out about the Circus Baby animatronic and the whole Sister Location thing, he decided to fabricate the idea of Baby being made just for her as a surprise, in order to not have her tell anyone about it. Then eventually she'd be alone with Baby...and uh yeah, we all know how that went!

(William was indeed pretty unhappy with this, not because he was like, 'Oh no, my poor daughter, I'm a monster!' But now that Lizzie disappeared, it would bring a ton of suspicion to Circus Baby's and it would be inconvenient to kill kids via robots, hence why he ditched Circus Baby's Pizza World and returned as Springtrap to kill the KCI)

Even after the whole thing, SHE STILL THOUGHT HE'D COME BACK AND GET HER 💀💀 obviously that didn't occur (he didn't bother even visiting, and also he became Springtrap a few years later) and then FFPS happens, and she still thought very highly of her dad anyway.

In the SB portion of my re-imagining, she'll still follow William like a lost duckling until finally, she'll see him for what he was all along.

Very Quick Springtrap & Y/N One-Shot: “A Dumbfounding Comparison”

Is it still considered a Y/N thing if it’s not written in second person? ..Regardless..

I got inspired by a post by @alexthesillybilly talking about Springtrap being compared to a childhood teddy bear, so here this is. The prompt sort of changed mid-writing, but I hope this is still good.

Springtrap hid behind the open door. If it weren’t for the fact that the newest guard was chattering on the phone, he would’ve given ‘em a proper scare.

…Not because he was scared of being seen or anything. Such a feeling couldn’t register even if it wanted to.

Rather, it was this looming sense of being ignored that was the issue. On and on this guard rambled, even as he peeked his head into the office. Topics like “You’ve got to see this place!” or “The computers are so slow here..” was all the newbie could talk about. Nothing about him nor the fact that he was right next to the office. Just… standard conversations one could have on a first night at some new job. Like it was a mere nine-to-five desk affair.

Honestly, all this chatter left him feeling hollow. Bereft, even.. Though what exactly prompted the feeling was unknown.

Yet, not being one to leave a “job” unfinished, he continued to linger. All he could do was silently beg for the sweet sound of those three rapid beeps. At least the guard was quieter now. That seemed promising.

“Hey, before I go,” the newbie piped up, “I gotta tell you about something I found tonight.”

Springtrap’s ear raised. Oh?

“it was the prettiest! So velvety and soft, it made my heart race.”

His ear lowered right back down. Ah. Never mind. It must have been some fluffy pillow at some nearby store. Thirty years had not been kind to his animatronic body— Let alone being considerate enough to not mess with the quality of the fabric.

“…Well, I mean, it was pretty to me,” the newbie corrected sheepishly, snapping him out of self-introspection. “Kinda like how your old teddy bear gets all grody with age. The memories are still there if you look past the muck and stuff.”

A staticky counterpoint pierced through the air. Springtrap finally peered into the room again. There was the guard, all bundled up in Autumn attire. That modern phone still buzzed with some unseen voice explained how “something that tall” couldn’t be compared to a teddy bear. Whatever that something was didn’t matter. This was his chance.

He trudged up to the desk. His posture slowly readied itself for an attack. The countdown in his head staggered just in case the mere pain in moving spiked. 

Three… Two… One—

“Oh, there you are!” the guard cried out, finally making eye contact with him. “We were just talking about you!”

Springtrap faltered mid-pounce.

All that “soft and velvety” nonsense was about him?

“I forgot to tell him that you were able to move too,” the newbie added, cupping the one side of their scarf-covered cheek. “Thanks for reminding me!”

The voice on the phone bounded back to life. Many questions were raised, but Springtrap was too stunned to pay attention. It took him even longer to realize that the phone had now morphed into a miniature camera of some sort. His own gruesome features were, thankfully, jarring enough to bring him back to reality.

Except now that long-lost fear came along with him.

All he could do was just go through the motions of a typical introduction: Wave “Hello”, attempt to look hospitable, then don’t panic if you catch yourself being filmed. Easy said, a-little-less easily done.

Fortunately for him, this only lasted a minute or two.. Merely because the person on the other side was desperate to not hurl on “camera”. The guard, strangely enough, was not in the least bit repulsed by this towering mess of a rabbit. “Thanks for stopping by, Springs,” the newbie said cheerfully, returning to work as if nothing happened. “I really appreciate the company.”

Springtrap loomed beside the poor soul. He watched for a look of dread, but nothing came. Battling the pain, he turned the chair to face him.

“What’s the matter, Springs?” the newbie asked, finally sounding concerned. “Am I doing this job all wrong?”

Springtrap leaned towards the guard. He stared them down to the best of his ability. Why… did this one think… he was “pretty”?? He was supposed to terrifying! Absolutely nauseating, given the “friend’s” reaction! Oh, yes, he heard the excuse all right. Loud and clear. But was it a lie to tell oneself or was it a genuine delusion? Even if it was the honest truth, then what could possibly—?

“I know this is a bad time to ask,” the guard said, interrupting the furious tension, “but where’d you get such haunting eyes? I don’t think any of the old Freddy’s animatronics had that kind of glow to them.”

Springtrap blinked. Well… That.. was better. An absolute shame he had no idea how to answer that.

springtrap: patience.

i have always been deeply fascinated with springtrap since 2015, going on almost ten years with a very exacting image of him inside my head. i always saw him like a lost puppy in FNaF 3, and that kinda spiraled all the way to here.

id say absolutely his patience. he's inhumanely patient, similar to an angel, because of what he's been through. thirty years of pure silence with nothing but memories of the past and the mistakes he made along the way.

sure he's absurdly kind and delicate, but his sensitivity includes inclusivity to others. he will understand you, even if he's confused or a bit ignorant! he's almost like an imaginary friend with how strangely patient he is.

all he can do is step back, take in a deep breath, and keep loving. because that's all anyone can do (:

nolan: perseverance.

ive had plenty of folks tell me that nolan is selfish or too moody for their liking, but i actually really appreciate his perseverance. a lot about nolan has been misunderstood and that's fine! he's a complex character and it's hard to demonstrate stuff through his subconscious storytelling!

but it has always been his perseverance that has intrigued me. he keeps going and going and going, no matter how bad things will get, he remains steadfast in himself. it's admirable just how stubborn he can be, but also interesting from his perspective because i don't think he even realizes it himself.

the furthest ive ever pushed the limit of this has been during the very first draft of Machine Theory from 2023, i had an idea of nolan sawing off his own left arm at the elbow. of course, it didn't get through because y'know.

but it's a phenomenal example. he will do anything and everything to stay alive and remain on the objective!

but nolan is a stranger case study. he is a very complex character to whittle down here, but id mainly be afraid that he was real rather than if id love him or not.

weirdly enough, i think the role of a character and a writer is more like a parent and child. it'd feel wrong to be in love with nolan, compared to providing him a chance to heal and change from the inside! i feel like i should be his mom, not his wife - if that makes any sense /lh

it's true. im a writer, not much of a reader anymore. when i was a wee little springlock baby, i read my ass off all the time. but now? writing is my passion, not reading. it's a hell of a lot easier to sit down and feed yourself with what you've harvested instead of silence.

the closest possible example? (Don't Fear) the Reaper, the finale of the seigman plotline, i actually got pretty choked up writing for nolan almost facing his destiny. not literally of course** but my eyes were indeed watery writing about it all!

"Reborn" - A FNaF alternative universe

Here's the full character size chart for my FNaF AU "Reborn"! Let me tell you a lil' something about all those characters & the universe...

"Reborn" takes places in 2002, two years after the events of the FNaF movie. William Afton is back as Springtrap, a haunting experience created from his ghost and anguish, as well as his burning hatred and revenge thirsty being.

Twisttrap - also known as Kathrine "Kat", the daughter of William and Evelyn (a already perished ballet dancer), 18 years old and has never been aware of her fathers doing - unlike her older sister Vanessa. Her ability to have a secondary form came after contact with Remnant in 2002 during the story being told.

Peppermint - the ghost of a deceased former worker in a sister location of the original Freddy's restaurant. After the sister location burned down, her ghost haunted the body of an animatronic called "Peppermint". She is not aware of her life as human before and lost almost all memories.

Yvette - a mysterious being with motherly feelings. She despises Springtrap and is aware of who he was in his former life, despite not knowing her own story. All she knows is: She has to protect Peppermint and kill William.

in fnaf the musical, afton killed missing kids, confirmed by glitchtrap in web of lies. he refers to afton as "...an upstanding business manager using his restaurant as cover to murder kids in his spare time."

and judging by the animatronics voices, and the fact that they act like kids, they are most likely the missing kids that afton killed. but they don't resent afton... or know his name for that matter. in web of lies, chica refers to afton as "the phone guy," showing that they don't know his name.

what if they lost their memory when they were killed and began possessing the animatronics?

also, at the end of the super cut, the animatronics make fnaf right? and the animatronics and nate and mark all escape the pizzaria together right? nate and mark wouldn't know what happened to them, but yk who would? yk who was employed at freddy's for the longest time and was probably onto afton, resulting in him getting killed? AJ.

back to the animatronics, at the end of night 5, afton dies in the fire. but he comes back. and so does springtrap. what if afton, knowing about remnant from the kids, and already dying once (matt said he stabs himself with a chainsaw, so it's to be assumed) came back AS AN ANIMATRONIC?!

BACK TO AJ, how would the animatronics make fnaf and know about their deaths if aj died? looking it up, and assuming authorities got there early enough, aj didnt die from the chainsaw, OR THE FIRE. so am i saying aj told the animatronics about what happened and they made a video game on it? yes. one of the names that afton goes by is scott cawthon, so why not use that name to remind afton about what he did?

back to afton, since afton lost his memory, there was still camera footage of him talking about his many names, since the police found them and arrested afton. two names being matpat and scott cawthon. if there's so many names, and the police wouldn't exactly know which one, they would ask afton right? leading afton to knowing that those two names have something to do with him losing his memory. afton not remembering anything, is declared insane and sent to a mental hospital, and shortly after is released. knowing those two names, he looks up scott cawthon and finds five nights at freddy's. using the name "matpat" for now on, he looks into the clues of fnaf to find out his own life story.

this is why no photos of scott cawthon exist, because scott doesn't exist, he's actually four puppet animatronics.

ALSO, this is why matpat doesn't ever sleep and why he only runs on artificial energy, aka diet coke.

ALSO since aj is alive and well he makes fnaf musical, and invites matpat to play as afton. but little does matpat know that he's playing as himself, reliving events of the past so aj can remind him what he did.

or aj had the animatronics make fnaf and he made the fnaf musical so matpat can go insane again, making another pizzaria, and giving aj his damn extra hours

bonus: the insanity ending was the canon ending. matpat finally put together the pieces and not only found about his past, but he also found out that he came back as a robot. that's why he retired. also scott in the lore keeper ending is ai generated cuz like i said he isn't real
