Dutch anon here 👋🏼. Who do you root for this eurovision? I'm rooting for Italy and the Netherlands (I love that our singer sings partly in Sranang Tongo, which never happend before). Ukraine also stole my heart during the first semi.

Sabrina Starke - True Colors (Faya Fu Yu Yeye)

Dutch songstress Sabrina Starke (of Surinam decent) covers Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" in Sranang Tongo (or Surinamese). 

Sabrina tried to find the best translation to covey the meaning of Cyndi Lauper's hit. She found it in Faya Fu Yu Yeye, which translates to "fire within your soul". For me, that made the song and the way she delivers it in this clip even more beautiful. Hope you enjoy!
