you seem to be posting about this a lot so i wanted to contribute something i noticed to an audience thats interested: if you would rather i make this my own post just answer this privately and i'll do so, you don't gotta post this at all if you don't wanna. ^_^

the main sideblog posted about the desktop layout today, and the sidebar specifically talking about the live puppet chat and the subscription area. i want to point out that it used to be the live puppet chat and the live cams. when you went to the live cams, it displayed the image that was the answer to the ask inquiring how dave was doing. the page still exists, too, just isn't on the sidebar anymore. This is an idea for an AU called Rouge Operatives AU centering around sector W. An AU where after Nigel leaves earth, Harvey is asked to go on a misson on behalf of the moon base.

But he has to cooperate with sector V for the misson. After he refuses to cooperate with another sector. He ends up going on the mission solo and ends up leaking crucial info to the adult villains and injured numbuh 85(on accident).

After the incident Rachel tries to decommission Harvey. But he managed to escape thanks to Tommy Gilligan (Currently a mercenary/mechanic) whom he is friendly with.

He is currently on the run from the decommission squad but still in contact with sector W.

this was much longer than i thought it would be, so i'm putting it under a cut LMAO

the way i hc his childhood is on the poorer side, born and raised in texas, with a lot of siblings. he's somewhere in the middle, so he's often forgotten about, but his mom tries to make up for it once he gets a little older. they end up developing a tight bond and he takes care of her once he's in his 60's.

his dad abandoned the family a couple years after he was born, and their mutual strained relationships with their fathers is something he and stan bond over. he doesn't know if his dad's even still alive, but he has no desire to meet ever meet him anyway.

he always felt kind of lost within his own family which is why he gravitated towards the biker scene, and formed a "gang" with his closest friends as a sort of pseudo-family. stan constantly makes fun of his attire, but jimmy knows it's not that serious so he lets it slide (he also thinks stan's a piss-poor judge of fashion anyway lmao)

i also hc football as something that he and stan ALWAYS argue over (stan is a giants fan, jimmy is a cowboys fan). stan likes having a friend that he can actually shoot the shit about sports with since ford never cared for them and neither do soos, wendy, or the kids. jimmy is literally the only person who understands stan's obsession w football.

unlike stan, jimmy knew from a young age that he was gay, and never bothered having any relationships or hookups with women. he's had a FEW sporadic relationships with men, but nobody really clicked with him the way stan did. after stan, he never got into another relationship.

other hobbies are cars (ofc lol), as he's been working in auto shops since he was a teenager and manages his own as an adult. in the jimstan teen au, i hc this as the way he and stan meet! stan gets a summer job to help buy more supplies to fix up the stan o'war (ford could never be bothered to get a job lmao) and meets the hot, grungy apprentice mechanic from a different school.

i also see him as the type of guy that's prob amazing at pool. he takes stan to a bar for one their dates and stan tries to show off for him, but gets completely demolished by jimmy in record time lol

when he visits his mom, he likes helping her in the garden. stan's the only soul who knows about this. when she eventually dies, he refuses to sell her house and continues to maintain the garden in her memory, even planting some of his own flowers.

he's a SUCKER for pictures. he needs to snap pictures of EVERYTHING, he's such a sap for sentimental memories (he doesn't scrapbook, but i still think if he ever met mabel, the two would become fast friends). his apartment is covered in framed pictures of his mom, sporadic pictures of him with a few of his siblings, his biker gang, and of course, stan. after their break-up, jimmy takes those pictures down, but he still keeps them well-protected.

uses a LOT of products in his hair to get it looking as shiny and soft as it is. stan was in heaven during those first few weeks that jimmy let him crash at his place and use his shampoo, it was like he was a new man.

like stan, he started smoking as a teenager, though he always felt bad for lying to his mom about his habit. when she got sick, he cut back significantly.

def much smoother than stan overall, but still a huge dork. for the leader of a biker gang, he was usually very neat and punctual, not really one for breaking the law unless he felt it was absolutely necessary (when it involved stan, he was convinced more easily).

oh and this one i harp about all the time, but i really prefer a jimmy snakes that is completely detached from anomalies, the supernatural, or any other kind of gravity falls weirdness. i know this directly goes against the very, VERY little "canon" lore we're given of him, but i really prefer him to represent the side of stan's life that is more firmly grounded in reality and the mundane, more "normal" and domestic, while ford is the weird, fantastical side where he hunts monsters and engages in forbidden taboos.

Okay so, being honest here -- sorry in advance -- but Daisuke's crush on Hikari IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION does not make Hikari herself "uncomfortable" like in the American version.

Yes, you heard me right: Hikari does not feel he's hostile around her, or that he makes her uncomfortable -- She's pretty much fine around Daisuke in 02 and its 02 material. Why? Because he does NOT impose himself on her, he does NOT claim her as his gf or something.

Daisuke RESPECTS Hikari's space pretty much, and even a little too much (ep 4 he's concerned about her wellbeing imo). The fact he never had done anything like, claiming she belongs to him or idk, treat her like a prize should be enough proof for that.

Also: Hikari and everyone else knows he got a crush on her. Except Daisuke himself, who keeps believing this is a secret and nobody knows (check ep 5 and how he reacts to Hikari's question to him being delusional about being alone with her for a second.)

Since Hikari is full aware of Daisuke's crush on her, she tends to take advantage of it in ep 6 and possibly in other scenarios as well: Because he wouldn't deny her something. If the others ask him some favor and he denies it, Hikari can change his mind if she asks said favor instead.

Probably because: 1- she's not interested in having a relationship at this age; 2- she does NOT want to reject him out of the blue, because he didn't simply make a move yet

Daisuke in that material is hella upset about a chain of disappointments, it's not entirely about Hikari "dumping" him. Also, since the narrator is Daisuke and he tends to turn everything more and more DRAMATIC, i don't trust his info to be accurate (lol, "Iori going out with a girl" srsly Dai?)

Besides, in the Kizuna drama CD we clearly see he hadn't given up on her yet. And this is the drama CD in which he barely mention his crush on her for the rest of the track -- and he also gets a compliment from her by being his usual self.

AND THEN HE JUST… FREEZES. yup.

Daisuke just freezes like if he had no idea HOW to react to that. He finally got his chance aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand he just froze with her calling him "cool". He never thought what would happen next if he ever got her attention. Yup.

"Just jolted awake from deeply troubling yet oddly calm nightmare and i must share this abomination with you, so it started off with a spooky little island that was just a victorian house and rock (already sus) but under the house was a decepitcon slave mine where the Vehicons like shared the work with captured human slaves and G1 extra autobots (a bunch of no name background charaters) mining some shit (idk what) but then BAM! the dream jumps and I'm watching a small group of army dudes and a couple of autobot (Jazz, Prowl, Ratchet and it was either Prime or Ironhide tbh i said who and the nightmare said yes it could have been both) going to investigate the little island which is now super dark and spookily abandoned and they all go down into the mine and start seeing weird ass shit that looks like a meat bee nest (that disgusting rotten flesh hive I've seen float around social media) and then BAM HORRIBLE TRANSFORMERS/HUMAN/FLESH AMALGAMATION THATS LIKE 100% WORSE THEN ANYTHING RESIDENT EVIL, SILENT HILL OR DEAD SPACE COULD PUMP OUT and all the army humans get sucked in (cuz brain said fuck the canon fodder meat monster needs more meat) weird tentacles start dragging and melding with the poor nameless fools (like srsly they had no Business being there) and the autbots say FUCK THIS and run barely making it out and they lock that shit up faster then Blurr and take a fire lava baths to make sure they don't become some horrible fleshy nightmare horror monsters, que brain shoving in another time skip because dreams be like that, and some dumb ass human scientist person goes to the island and breaks into the mine (wearing a hazmat suit and a gas mask also dont ask i dont understand why they fine in just that its dream logic shit dont make any sense) and finds and a horrible optimus prime fusion meat mimic thing (but like its not the real OP like Daddy Optimus was safe) and the meat Optimus thing has become sentient and was somehow broke into pieces and was trying to rebuild its self slowly absorbing meat and forming it into a collective of different parts it remembered seeing (it was like meat optimus and several other autbots Frankenstein'd together) and so dumb ass cave diver science dude decides "I'm take it home and study it at my lab" and grabs the head which looks like a gross Meaty Optimus then i scene jump AGAIN to random Scientist dudes lab which it was a weird outdoor lab (no house in sight because brain didn't load anymore BG) in a giant tube science man had the mimic head and then he Proceeds to try to communicate with it, which seems to work (tho i couldn't hear what they were saying to each other) then the unholy flesh Optimus turns to face me where i was like floating watching everything go down passively the whole time being a third party watcher the this ungodly nightmare and it says in a SPOOKY FUCKING AMALGAMATED NIGHTMARE VOICE (WHICH I PHYSICALLY FUCKING HEARD!!)

lmao yeah as someone who's looked at all those mini FTE things, takemaru's bad taste is quite evident there, too. i think it's also mentioned if you try to talk to him when takumi is tasked with exploring the school. takemaru x hiruko is the 2nd biggest hiruko ship, and i'm intrigued to see how it could play out (i think there's a good chance it could happen canonically), and i wonder if them bonding over their weird art tastes would be part of that. (also hiruko gives motorcycle girlie vibes to me so possibly that too)

but yeah, i saw someone else mention how takumi's response to the leopard print underwear isn't 'that's strange/stupid', it's 'that's kinda sexy'. i need more info to ship em, but i will Keep An Eye Out for it, because i think it could be nice. it gives me vibes of mondoXmakoto except with more of ishi/mondo's 'bro' element

same anon, i should explain that panic didn’t factor into it for me bc i don’t mind if the show releases in 2026… i think we agree here, like srsly who cares if it’s jan 2026 and not say nov 2025, does it make that much difference? so i’m not panicking at all, and i’m not saying we should even trust them, only that if they *have* seen something that indicates shooting in general doesn’t begin until, say, spring or summer, then imo that would be all the info needed to conclude that it’s very unlikely (not impossible) to air in 2025, due to the the length it takes to film (both seasons were around 5 months each, excluding the break for the strikes in s2) and post-production time (again i think both were approx 5 months, maybe a little less for s1 but that was an ep shorter). so not saying we should believe them or that we should panic or get worked up at all, only that i don’t think knowing the broadcasting schedule is necessarily a pre-requisite to determining s3 is unlikely to air this year, other information could certainly indicate that

Thank you both for clarifying, and I'm sorry if I was abrupt. I've had a few weird-to-unpleasant asks in the last couple of days, so I'm - - mm, not on-edge exactly, but I think perhaps more prone to reading things as bad faith that aren't, just because of what some asks are nestled between.

But yeah, I mean, it's impossible really to tell where the chips are falling at the moment, but at least in my experience here, those sorts of announcements even to unions usually happen relatively close to productions happening? A part of that is the Australian industry where most films and shows don't really know if they're going to happen until the last minute, so end up crewing-up pretty late, but even this week, my sister as a costume stand-by has been offered three different shows that all start filming in two weeks time. That's not to say that she doesn't know about them longer in advance, but if we take that post at face value, it sounds like the show's crewing up, which means we're heading in the right direction.

I will say there are a few weird details in that post to me? Like they're right, they wouldn't be allowed to say anything about it, which someone working in the union should know, and at least in terms of the Australian industry, it'd be a pretty big faux pas to post something like that publicly (and honestly, if it was someone wanting the job, they wouldn't post it publicly because it would jeopardise their chances). Also the comment about hoping to work on the show as a lighting tech - - yeah, okay, but a production will hire a gaffer, who will usually (although not always) bring their team with them [or rely on another member of their team i.e. of the three jobs my sister's been offered this week, one has been direct from a designer she's worked with before, one from one she hasn't who's had her recommended to her, and one from a supervisor helping a designer to crew up) so if they are a contract tech posting that sort of thing - - I don't know. Maybe they know a gaffer who's in talks with the production manager already, but it just flags a little for me. So yeah! It could be true, but it also might not be, and for now, I do think it's just best to trust what AMC's putting out.

sorry i havent done the asks or new art. i explained on my bsky but basically my wrist has been CRAP. since i use it for hw a lot, it gets already worn out so when i finally have a chance to draw after,, i can only do so for like 30 minutes before needing a break :sob: i still have the drive but the motivation and time... is lacking which makes me a bit sad. I really love devlin and the story around him and all of my friends oc, i think about them all the time and I wish i could just show that whenever i could D: but like. SCHOOL AGHHH . (the demise of it all)

this is really just a slightly related rant, but also..im afraid i seem a bit self-centered at times becuz, i dont draw my friends characters AS much or share about them and yet im here so happy whenever they draw for me and you know.. INVOLVE themselves into my ocs! i cant help but be a bit guilty that... im too involved with my own ocs..? like its weird to explain this feeling. 😭 and i frankly dont want to get TOO much into it just cuz this is a tumblr for silly demon ocs of mairuma not a ranting/personal acc lol but. it HAS happened where i am too involved with my fandom oc and it gets 'popular' and then someone 'calls me out' for pushing my ocs into others and that. kinda killed it yk? like i dont want to push devlin either onto everyones faces but im also scared that it gives off that its all i talk about (which is kinda true? idk) 😭 like eventually i just melted away from it a bit, to. prevent what has happened before. i rarely draw that other fandom oc becuz of that. and like i said, i love devlin, i dont want that to happen. I want to keep creating but, my personal feelings and my physical limits, and even my mental state stops me and it SUCKS!! rahh! anyways, i need to get more into the habit to just posting whatever on here cuz i srsly have a lot backlogged but i just hold back from posting them cuz i think they are 'ugly' or well, unappealing ><... ill get to it eventually!

devlin is very personal to me. in a way, he reflects me haha,, but also i cherish it if others relate to him, thats kinda the purpose almost. I also really love mairuma!!
