I've fully planned the first 9 chapters, and I'm hooked. I can't wait to come up with more of the story LMAO

I'm probably going to take a lot of time on chapter 1 though, It's a VERY important thing that I get it right. And I'm not exactly helping myself by having it be two concurrent scenes with a lot of similarities, that will probably be quite challenging to write. But it establishes A LOT, and the wording of the scene has to be very particular, so it'll take some effort. I'm looking forward to it though!

A byproduct of me not watching a ton of TV and usually only getting invested in things with long hiatuses is that I strongly associate those things with the stage of my life when it was airing. I can tell you exactly what life was like when I watched gomens s1 in the summer of 2019, and I wonder how different life will be when s3 eventually airs lol

It's sort of implied Yoo Joonghyuk starts off every regression in his signature outfit already and I have. Headcanons on how that is possible.

It's explicitly stated in canon that his coat does not travel back to him when he regresses (kdj says so to sp), so the two possibilities are either he buys it as soon as possible and just does the first couple scenarios in a normal outfit (boring, unsupported by canon) or... he was already wearing the coat on the day the scenarios started. Which is what I think, and is more interesting. Since those coats already have so much narrative weight in yjh's story let me add a little more.

I think when Yoo Joonghyuk spawned into existence on the side of the road one day, he was wearing the full WoS outfit, coat included. Because, what else would the protagonist wear? This was the only outfit he was written in.

Eventually, he of course did buy normal clothes (in yoo mia side story, which happens a few years later, he wears 'an old jacket') but that coat he started off with with would have been one of the very few pieces of evidence of his supposed 'past' that he wanted to discover so badly. So even if he stopped wear it day-to-day, I think he wouldn't have gotten rid of it.

For years, A Black Infinite Dimention Space Coat hangs in his closet, totally anachronistic in a pre-scenarios world. Like Yoo Joonghyuk himself.

It's important to note that on the day the scenarios started, Yoo Joonghyuk was taking the train to meet his parents for the first time. Perhaps he felt the need to dress up, and what better way than the unusual clothing he wore on the first day he remembers? He would have finally gotten the answers he had been looking for - perhaps even to the comparatively insignificant question of why he was wearing this coat when he forgot his past.

Well, his parents house was empty, but he still gets the answer to his questions eventually, when at 7 p.m on the ride back, the scenarios start.

In a bitter irony, that outfit he chose to wear on that day would be what he wore for the next thousand regressions. But of course, it never could have happened any other way.

my fascination has extended from lighthouses to fire tower lookouts. people are up there all day, isolated, and a lot of times they have hobbies while they whiddle away the day. just saw a post about someone who's stationed at a fire tower in Montana who also makes violins. that's?? so cool??

it would take a very specific type of person to voluntarily want to do that job and live in isolation. and it'd be really interesting to explore what would lead someone to want to do it.

A prompt for your writer’s block: conversation between besties Nancy and Carlos, right when Nancy and Marjan get together

hi hi i knew i could count on you, using this as my wip wednesday contribution as i've been lacking lately

“So, what’s up with you, Nancy?” Carlos pried, fighting the stretch of cheese pulling off his slice of pizza as he took a bite. 

It was their monthly catch-up night. Carlos insisted on making a nutritious dinner, and Nancy insisted on picking up greasy pizza. Nancy won the battle of the meal almost every time. 

“What? Nothing…” Nancy looked at the floor. 

Carlos glared at Nancy, “Something's new with you, and you’re hiding it. We’ve been friends for too long for me not to know when you’re hiding something.” 

“Is something different with Lou’s cage?” She turned to the side of the room where the scaled lizard lived. 

Carlos set his slice of pizza down on his plate, coming to sit on her side of the table. “Why are you deflecting so much? There’s nothing you can’t tell me.” 

“Okay, fine.” Nancy sighed, “I hate you, you know?” 

“I know, but you love me.” Carlos smiled, with a twinkle of light in his brown eyes. 

Nancy felt her chest filling with warmth just thinking of her. The first time their fingers brushed against each other, the first date where they spent hours talking losing track of time until the restaurant closed, the first time they kissed and her soft lips met with hers, the first time she laid her head on her chest and slept in her arms after a long shift, the first time she made her breakfast and made her coffee just right, all the times she felt the world stop when she was with her. 

“Well… I’m seeing someone.” Nancy felt her hands shaking. Why am I like this? Carlos will be supportive, just say it. She thought to herself. “I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time, but it’s complicated.”
