Do you have an editor for Something Rots? Like for text and writing I mean. To look over for grammar/spelling/typing mistakes or inconsistencies. Just curious. Some people also prefer not to have editors or only want people they know to look over their stuff, I'm just curious where you land.

I do have some friends helping me since I'm a non-native English speaker. Everything I write is first written in the language I'm most comfortable with, then I translate it to english— my writing style uses a lot of weirdly structured prose to help that feeling of confusion, and that is really hard for me to translate without making any mistakes in the process. I'm still learning to translate my drafts and not making them sound stiff or machine-translated, but thankfully I have great friends that help me to correct any mistakes I might forget.

goro akechi has hypermobility to me. i'm hEDS and the blackmask stances feel so freaking good, are actual stretches and if you relax your super tense muscles a little - boom. using the fewest muscles possible to reach or stand and its upsetting everyone who looks over at me. im slow-fast like a spider. hunching like a mad cat. claw fingers are such a relief from constant 'gentle looking' delicate super-firm focus pen holding, bag holding, nice pleasant hand shapes. holding your body like a normal person and being hyper aware of staying within the range of motion that doesnt upset people is mentally exhausting, let alone all the ramifications of hypermobility (pain, fatigue, atypical injuries that go untreated bc its not technically a muscle tear etc) everyones like "oh no, thats so scary, your body position seems frightening/gross/painful" yeah, maybe to you without ~ the range ~, but this feel sooooo good. epitome of going feral feeling good. even when a hypermobile stretch hurts, it hurts so differently (so nicely, what a relief) to the holding-yourself-upright pains. moving inefficiently for my body but within expectations of Properness is infuriating and unnecessary suffering and i have absolutely snapped bc it was costing me to conform and no one else paid that price. and thats gorocore

#Real life #Medical issues #So my lung issues that I have complained about on here many many times #Turns out #My ribs were in the wrong place and all twisted up and compressing my lungs #Which #I did not know your ribs could fucking move raise your hands if you knew that your ribs could twist themselves around #What the fuck even are human bodys #Who designed us???#Whyyyyy is this an apperantly very common thing after coughing for weeks on end #Why did nobody tell me your ribs could fucking move #So today I spent the afternoon with the docs fingers digging into my ribs and yanking them back in place #(Guess how fucking sore I am now)#(She also put me on different inhaler medication yay)#But anyway she saw me after leaning and all twisted up and tore into me and was like #You trained as a classical ballerina yes?
