Waking up alone and isolated from your crew was not the way you anticipated your time in Elegia to conclude. A vicious battle between the demonic presence of Tot Musica, under the command of the siren-song of Uta, was not what you envisioned for your getaway. If you knew this is what awaited you, you would have especially taken more consideration in inviting your new friend Brûlée along with you to the island.
Looking to your side, you noticed her form remained unmoving and unconscious as you stirred from your position lying in the grass. You immediately crawled over to her, your lethargy weighing you down and prompting your movements to be slow and staggered.
Just before you managed to reach her, you felt a presence behind you and a large hand placed on your shoulder. You slowly winced up, your mind in a haze as you turned your gaze towards the presence.
Charlotte Katakuri crouched down beside you and looked at his unconscious siblings just beyond you with an unreadable expression in his eyes. In his mind's eye, and in your own, you were all engaged in a vicious battle to take down the entity in perfect unison: you within the dream-land from the sing-sing fruit, and the reality combated by him externally with the Red-Hair pirates.
You felt him in your eyes, and he felt you in his; both your observation Haki working in perfect synchrony to take down the demon and save the civilians and marines only there to enjoy Uta’s music. He placed a little more pressure on your shoulders, pinching the muscle beneath his wide fingertips. In unison, you spoke immediately in a hurried tone.
“I’m so sorry, lord Charlotte,” you bowed your head and began to utter your sincere apologies to him, “If I knew this is what was waiting for us when I invited BrĂ»lĂ©e here to the concert with me, I never would’ve-,” you started your hurried apology, only stopping when you focussed on his words.
“-I have never experienced fighting alongside such a skilled Haki user before. Observation and armament alike, you are truly a revered warrior,” he complimented you, shifting his grip on your shoulder to caress your cheek with his large hands. “Your grace on the battlefield and protection over my family did not go unnoticed here.”
Your breath hitched, darting your eyes between his before looking down to the bodies of his unconscious siblings. Shaking your head away from his grip, you slowly sink to your knees and bow your head to him further.
“I deserve no such praise, my lord,” you admit to him with a soft quiver in your tone and your mind racing with the aftershocks of adrenaline, “This is the second time your sister BrĂ»lĂ©e has been injured because of me, and Oven did not fare much better.” Katakuri collected your chin beneath his fingers and angled your face up to gaze into his eyes.
“They are unscathed,” he searched within your expression and thumbed over the apple of your cheek, “And they are unharmed physically.” He leaned forward and lowered himself down from his crouched position to kneel in front of you. “I am grateful for your friendship with my sister, please do not ever apologize to me for it.”
A weight lifted off your shoulders as you darted your eyes between his, feeling something within his orbs suppressed below the surface. You dart your eyes down to the fur shroud covering his lips before returning to gaze up into his hazel-colored orbs.
“Thank you, lord Charlotte,” you hang your head once more, choosing to honor him further with a low bow. He chased your gaze by lowering his head and angling his chin down, the shroud loosening over his lips and revealing a soft, toothy smile.
“Please call me by my name,” he smiled further, both of you not noticing the two other Charlotte siblings stirring beside you and glancing up at you. You sighed, a small and shy smile rising to your lips, as you looked down to view his sharpened teeth and eel-like jaw. A soft rosy blush of shame and embarrassment grew on his cheeks as he noticed your gaze down on his lips.
Wincing away, he retracted his hand and attempted to relift his shroud back over his lips, halting when he felt your gentle hand reach forward. You looked between his eyes, slowly adding a soft amount of pressure on his hand and softly urging him to reveal his face to you once more.
“Would
” you began, searching his now revealed face with more purpose and a soft flush rising to your nose, ears and cheeks, “...Would you like to stay with me a while, Katakuri? Just until your siblings regain consciousness?” Katakuri looked beyond you to where BrĂ»lĂ©e and Oven were looking at him, immediately falling to their backs and closing their eyes to feign unconsciousness.
He smiled a soft, knowing smile and leaned forward, prompting your hand to raise from his hand up to cup his cheek.
“I would like that very much,” he whispered your name, pressing his forehead to yours and closing his eyes upon impact.
The connection between you was strong and powerful, short sparks of ignition tingling between the press of his head and the flames of new beginnings rising in your heart. You both raised soft smiles in unison, in view of his ‘sleeping’ siblings, and your crew now catching up with you in your place on the island.
Katakuri now knew it was not only a possibility to have his dreams potentially become a reality with armament haki, but you may feel affection for him as he did feel for you. Breathing each other's air and holding one another close, you felt at peace and hopeful of what new beginning these sparks meant for the both of you.

sleeping separately after an argument pt. 1
SFW
characters: luffy, zoro, usopp, and sanji x fem! reader summary: how the strawhat boys would react to you sleeping alone after an argument CW: mainly fluff, slight angst others: not proofread, lowercase intended, and pictures found on pinterest
Tumblr media
—————
Monkey D. Luffy
luffy doesn't handle conflict well, especially not one with someone he cares deeply about. after the argument you guys had earlier, he would never suspected that you would sleep else where for the night.
at first, he would brush it off, thinking you just needed some space and that you would return to your shared room soon. but, as the night wore on, he'd find himself restless. constantly tossing and turning unable to lay as comfortably as before now that he was alone. luffy would eventually get up and wander over to your old room.
knowing him he’d poke your face (gently of course) while whispering, "hey, are you still mad at me?" his big eyes would reflect genuine concern and confusion. but because you were asleep you couldn’t respond, so he would get into your bed and curl up next to you, determined to be close even if you were still upset. you’d wake up the next day to a goofy grin and a sincere apology, as he was eager to make things right.
Roronoa Zoro
arguments with zoro are often intense but short-lived. so when you decide to sleep separately after a fight, zoro (like luffy) would be taken aback. however he, unlike luffy, would initially be too proud to go after you. so instead he’d brood silently, replaying the argument in his head while sharpening his swords.
you were the dramatic one. right?
as the night deepened, his stoic façade would crack, causing the gnawing sense of regret to seep in. he’d eventually get up, quietly making his way to your old room.
“babe?” his voice was uncharacteristically soft cautiously enters the room. after seeing your sleeping figure his demeanor immediately softens.
without a word, he'd lie down on the floor next to your bed, his presence a silent apology. he would wake up before you like usual but after breakfast he would pull you aside giving you a gruff but sincere apology, his actions speaking louder than his words.
God Ussop
usopp is sensitive and prone to overthinking. after any argument, he'd probably be filled with anxiety and self-doubt. which would worsen after you decide to sleep separately. he'd pace around, muttering to himself and crafting elaborate scenarios in his head of what this could mean.
is this it?
do you not love him anymore?
were you going to break up with him?
eventually, he'd muster the courage to approach you, armed with a heartfelt speech. ready to kneel beside you and pour his heart out with the promise to do better. but after walking to your old room and seeing you sleep so soundly his resolve would soften. not wanting to wake you he would leave telling himself that he’d apologize in the morning.
instead of going to bed though he would go to his factory deciding to make you a small gift to show his sincerity. he would place that along with a short an apology letter by your door. hoping to give you a better apology in the morning.
Vinsmoke Sanji
sanji would be devastated if you chose to sleep separately after an argument. unlike usopp, he wouldn’t overthink it. he knows you love him just needed some space. despite thinking that, he would never let you go to sleep upset especially not at him.
so he'd spend the majority of the night in the kitchen, preparing ingredients for tomorrow and making you a midnight snack.
with a tray of food on hand he’d softly knocks on the door of your old bedroom, his voice both gentle and cautious. “my love? i brought food. can i come in so we can talk?”
your lights were on so he knew you were up, after waiting for a minute or so he would let out a relieved sigh as you opened the door and making room for him to enter.
you guys would spend the rest of the night talking about your argument except this time with a much clearer head. once he knew that you both were on the same page he would bring you back to your share room to sleep.

my masterlist here ♡
——-
Sabo
You weren’t sure when it had started.
Maybe during that first mission with Sabo—when he pulled you out of a collapsing tunnel with smoke in his lungs and soot in his hair. Or maybe it was the way he looked at you during meetings, when everyone else spoke over each other and his eyes quietly sought yours like they were the only steady thing in the room.
Regardless, you’d never told him.
Instead, you wrote letters. Quiet, aching, folded-up things in the corners of notebooks and between pages of Revolutionary Army maps. Pages filled with things you could never say aloud. Sometimes it was just a sentence. Sometimes full confessions. But you never gave them to him. You didn’t need to. Writing them was enough.
Tonight, the base was quiet. Outside, a soft breeze shifted through the trees, and the only sound in your room was the scratch of your pen.
You were curled up at your desk, writing again. Candlelight flickered beside you. You didn’t hear the knock. You didn’t notice the door creak open.
“Y/N?”
You jolted. “Koala—!”
She froze in the doorway. Her eyes dropped to the open page on your desk before you could hide it.
“Wait. What is that?”
“Nothing.” You slammed the notebook shut, your voice too sharp.
Koala blinked. Then her eyes narrowed.
“
That’s your handwriting.”
“So?”
She stepped in, shutting the door behind her. “So that was definitely Sabo’s name.”
You groaned. “Koala—please.”
She raised a brow. “Is that a letter to him?”
You turned away. “It’s not for him. I mean—it is, but—I wasn’t gonna give it to him.”
A beat of silence passed.
“
You’ve written more than one, haven’t you.”
You didn’t answer.
She came closer, her voice gentler now. “Y/N.”
Your shoulders dropped.
“It’s just
easier to write it than say it,” you whispered.
Koala sat on the edge of your bed. “You really like him, don’t you?”
You let out a breathy laugh. “Yeah. I do.”
Your voice cracked a little when you said it. You didn’t even mean to. You covered your mouth, eyes burning suddenly with tears you hadn’t expected.
You hated this—how hard it was to hold it all in sometimes.
“I like him so much it hurts,” you confessed. “And he doesn’t even know.”
Another voice answered:
“Yes. I do.”
âž»
Your head whipped toward the door.
Sabo stood there, hand still on the knob. He looked as if he’d frozen in place. Behind him, the hall was dark—he’d come alone. No footsteps, no warning. Just his silhouette framed in low light.
You stared. “Sabo—?”
He stepped in slowly. “I didn’t mean to eavesdrop. I came to return Koala’s map notes. I wasn’t—” He cut off, brow furrowed, and looked at you. “You really meant it?”
Your throat felt tight. “I—I didn’t know you were listening.”
“I was,” he said softly. “Every word.”
You turned to Koala, but she was already slipping out the door with a sheepish shrug. ïżœïżœïżœSorry!” she mouthed before vanishing.
Now it was just the two of you.
“I didn’t plan to say that,” you said, voice trembling. “I just
It’s been a long time. I’ve been trying to keep it in.”
Sabo’s steps were slow. Careful.
“How long?”
You couldn’t meet his eyes. “Since Baltigo.”
“That long?”
You nodded.
He moved closer. You felt him pause just beside you.
“
Why didn’t you tell me?”
You hesitated. “Because we’re in the middle of a war, Sabo. And you’re important. And brave. And reckless. And always getting yourself into danger—”
“That’s not a reason not to tell me.”
You looked at him then.
His eyes were soft. No teasing, no judgment. Just that same steady, thoughtful Sabo you’d always known—only now closer than he’d ever felt before.
“I was scared it would ruin everything,” you said quietly.
He gave a small, almost broken laugh. “I’ve been scared of that too.”
You blinked. “What?”
He rubbed the back of his neck. “I’ve liked you for a long time, Y/N.”
You stared, stunned.
He gave a small, sheepish shrug. “I never wrote letters or anything, but
if I had, I probably would’ve filled a hundred pages by now.”
Your breath caught. “You really mean that?”
He looked away, ears turning red. “Yeah. Every word.”
A laugh broke from your lips—half disbelief, half relief. “You idiot.”
He looked back at you with a faint smirk. “Says the one who actually wrote letters.”
You let out a shaky laugh.
And suddenly it felt all real.
——
A few days later, Sabo knocked on your door. When you opened it, he was holding something out.
Your notebook.
“The one with the letters,” he said with a grin.
Your eyes widened. “Where did you—?!”
“I didn’t read them,” he promised. “I swear. But
if you want me to, I will.”
You stared.
Then you reached out—and flipped to the last page. Your handwriting was still there. The ink fresh. The one you’d been writing the night he overheard.
You tore it out, folded it neatly, and handed it to him.
He blinked. “Just this one?”
“For now.”
He looked at it like it was something precious. “Can I read it in front of you?”
You nodded.
He opened it slowly.
You watched his eyes move across the page—watched the flicker of a smile, the subtle shift of his expression. By the time he finished, he was quiet.
Then, carefully, he looked at you.
“Do you want a letter too?”
You blinked. “You’d write one?”
He leaned in, closer than ever before. “I’d write one every day.”
And when he kissed you, it felt like the answer to every unsent word you’d ever written.
——
Ace
It was a quiet afternoon on the Moby Dick. The sun hung lazily above the sea, casting golden warmth over the deck. Laughter echoed faintly from the other side of the ship, but Ace wasn’t with the others. He sat alone near the back, arms crossed over his knees, a troubled expression clouding his usually bright face.
He’d overheard a few new crewmates whispering—again.
“Roger’s son, huh? No wonder he’s so reckless.”
“I still don’t get why Whitebeard lets him wear the mark.”
Their voices replayed in his head, sharp as knives. No matter how far he came, how hard he fought, those words always lingered. Was he just his father’s shadow? Was he even supposed to exist?
You found yourself talking to Marco later as you leaned against the rail, eyes watching the horizon.
“You think Ace is okay?” you asked softly.
Marco raised a brow. “You’ve been watching him all day.”
You hesitated, then sighed. “He always looks like he’s trying to prove something. Like he doesn’t believe he’s enough. I just wish he’d let himself feel
 loved.”
“You’re in love with him, huh?” Marco said with a smirk.
You didn’t even deny it.
“Yes. I love him.” Your voice dropped. You hadn’t noticed Ace was nearby—standing still behind the corner, frozen as the words sank in.
——
Ace kept tossing fire between his fingers like nothing happened, but his heartbeat wouldn’t slow down. She loves me? The words played over and over in his head.
He approached casually, as if he hadn’t just overheard something that shook him to his core.
“What are you two whispering about?” he asked, flopping down beside you, a teasing grin on his face.
You jumped a little. “Ace! Uh—nothing really. Just
 talking.”
Marco snorted and walked off, giving you two space.
Ace tilted his head, pretending to look bored. “Sounded like something deep.”
You hesitated, then offered him a gentle look. “I just
 worry about you sometimes.”
His smile faltered slightly. “You don’t have to.”
“But I do,” you insisted. “You’re always trying to be the strongest, the most reliable
You don’t need to carry it all alone.”
He didn’t answer right away. His eyes dropped to his hands.
“Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve been born at all,” he said quietly, voice barely audible over the waves.
Your heart clenched. “Ace
”
“I hear the things people say. About my father. About me. It never really stops.”
You touched his arm gently. “You’re not your father.”
He glanced up at you, eyes guarded.
“You’re you, Ace. I care about you because of who you are—not because of your name, and definitely not in spite of it.”
âž»
Ace couldn’t sleep that night. He paced the deck in the dark, wrestling with your words. He’d heard so many lies in his life. So many people who wanted something because of the blood in his veins—or wanted nothing to do with him because of it.
But your voice was different.
He found you in the galley, wrapping up a late-night snack. You turned, surprised.
“Ace? You okay?”
He looked
unsure. And for someone like Ace, that was rare.
“I heard what you said to Marco earlier,” he admitted, leaning against the doorway.
You froze, eyes wide. “You
 you did?”
“Yeah.” He chuckled, but it was hollow. “Didn’t mean to eavesdrop. Just
 kinda happened.”
You shifted awkwardly. “Well
 I meant it.”
He looked at you like he was seeing you for the first time.
“I’m not my father, Y/N. But sometimes I think people only ever see him when they look at me. Like I’m just waiting to become him.”
You walked up to him, eyes soft.
“You’re not him. You never will be.”
Ace stared at you, caught in the sincerity of your gaze.
“I love you,” you said, voice steady. “Not because you’re Gol D. Roger’s son. Not because you’re Whitebeard’s commander. But because you’re Ace. And that’s enough.”
Ace stared at you, his eyes flickering with something raw and real. Then he leaned down and pressed his forehead to yours.
“I love you, Y/N,” he breathed. “Not just because you see me
but because when you do, I finally feel like I deserve to be here.”
Your heart swelled as you wrapped your arms around him.
“You do, Ace. You always have.”
And for once, he let himself believe it.
——
Law
The Polar Tang was unusually quiet that evening, save for the hum of the ocean against the hull. You sat in the galley with Shachi and Penguin, half-listening to them banter while organizing mission notes. A familiar name drifted into the conversation.
“I’m just saying,” Shachi smirked, “if Captain has a secret admirer, it’s gotta be someone on board. Who else could handle that grump 24/7?”
“Yeah, right. Can you imagine anyone confessing to Law?” Penguin snorted.
Your hand froze over the page, heart thudding. You gave a weak chuckle, trying to stay casual.
“
I think he’s different than people think,” you said quietly.
The two fell silent, glancing at each other before looking back at you. “Different how?” Shachi asked.
You stared down at your notes, unsure why you were still speaking. “He’s cold sometimes, yeah, but there’s a reason. He’s
carrying a lot. But underneath that, he’s kind. Steady. I admire him. I love him, actually.”
You didn’t notice the door slightly ajar—or the shadow that had paused just outside. Law, on his way to the infirmary, heard every word. He didn’t move. Just stood there, stunned, your voice echoing quietly in his chest like a scalpel carving into old scar tissue.
——
Later that night, you found yourself sitting near the back of the ship, watching the stars shimmer through the porthole. You didn’t expect company—until his footsteps neared.
“Working late?” Law asked, standing behind you.
You turned, startled. “Oh. Hey. Yeah. Just
 couldn’t sleep.”
He didn’t sit. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and added, “Neither could I.”
You nodded slowly. There was something unusual in his gaze—measured, intense. Like he was holding back words with every breath.
“I heard you,” he said bluntly. “In the galley.”
Your heart stopped. “What?”
He didn’t look away. “You said you loved me.”
The silence stretched long between you. Your breath caught in your throat.
“I didn’t mean for you to—”
“You meant it though,” Law interrupted. “Didn’t you?”
“
Yeah,” you whispered. “I did.”
He stepped forward. Just one step, but it felt like a line being crossed. His voice softened. “Why?”
You blinked. “What do you mean?”
“Why me?” His tone was flat, but his eyes betrayed the storm behind them. “Why would anyone
 love me?”
You swallowed hard. “You’re strong. Not just in power—emotionally. You always show up. You carry so much but never drop any of it. And you
you protect people. You saved me more than once, Law. You care, even when you act like you don’t.”
He looked away sharply.
“You don’t have to earn it,” you added quietly. “Love doesn’t work like that.”
His breath hitched.
Law didn’t answer for a long time. Then, quietly:
“You sound like him.”
You blinked. “Who?”
He sat down at last, elbows on his knees, eyes far away. “Corazon. He told me once, I didn’t need a reason to be loved. That someone could love me just because.”
“
He was right.”
Law’s hand twitched. “I hated hearing it back then. Thought it was a lie. After he died
I convinced myself I wasn’t meant for that kind of thing. Not after what I did to survive.”
You looked at him—truly looked. His jaw was tense, but his shoulders were slumped like someone carrying too many ghosts.
“Sengoku told me, after everything
that Corazon loved me like family. And I kept asking myself why. Why me? Why would he care so much? I’ve been so bad to him. Even now, I still don’t know.”
Law leaned back against the wall, head tilted up toward the ceiling.
“You know,” he said, “I used to think if I kept everything locked up, it wouldn’t hurt. That if no one knew what I felt, no one could use it against me.”
“That’s a lonely way to live,” you whispered.
“It was.” His voice was quieter now. “Until you.”
You inhaled sharply, heart catching in your throat.
“I’ve been watching you too, Y/N. I always noticed when you sat closer during meals. Or brought coffee when I was holed up for hours. You always knew when to say something—and when not to.”
He looked over at you now, eyes unreadable but softer than you’d ever seen.
“You’re not a secret I want to keep locked away anymore.”
The words hit you like a wave. “Law
”
He stood slowly, stepped in front of you, and reached out—hesitating just for a breath—before his fingers gently cupped your face.
“I’m not good at this,” he said. “But I want to try. With you.”
Your eyes stung with tears you hadn’t realized were forming. “You’re already doing just fine.”
His lips brushed against yours, tentative at first, then fuller, deeper. You melted into him, and he kissed you like someone who finally let the gates fall. When he pulled away, he stayed close, forehead resting against yours.
“No more secrets,” he whispered.
——
Zoro
The fight had been brutal. Zoro, despite his immense strength and endurance, had taken a hit he couldn’t recover from quickly. Blood stained his clothes, and the crew had rushed to stabilize him, quickly patching him up as best they could on the ship.
You were a wreck. Despite being part of the crew for so long, despite the battles, seeing him hurt like this
it was too much for you to handle. You were pacing back and forth near the medical room, your heart in your throat as your mind raced with worst-case scenarios. Nami and Robin stood nearby, trying to comfort you, but nothing could settle the growing panic inside.
“I—I can’t do this,” you muttered, wiping away the fresh tears that had formed. “What if—what if he doesn’t make it?”
Robin placed a gentle hand on your shoulder, her voice soothing, but there was an undercurrent of concern there too. “Zoro’s strong. He’s not going anywhere.”
But you couldn’t stop. You couldn’t stop worrying, couldn’t stop the tears from falling. Your chest ached at the thought of him not making it through this.
Nami’s voice, usually so steady, was now quieter, though there was still a reassuring edge. “You need to calm down. He’s tough. Zoro will pull through.”
But no matter how much they tried to comfort you, the fear was too overwhelming. You couldn’t stop thinking about the worst outcome—what it would be like to lose him. How he was always so strong, always so dependable, and yet, this time, you weren’t sure it would be enough.
“Please,” you whispered through your sobs, barely audible but full of pain. “Please don’t leave me, Zoro. I love you
I love you so much. I can’t lose you.”
You didn’t realize how loudly you’d said it. You were too caught up in the panic, in the fear of losing him, that the words just spilled out without thinking.
In the shadows of the hallway, hidden from your view, Zoro had heard everything. He had been leaning against the doorframe, trying to muster the strength to stand up on his own after the injury, when your words reached him. At first, he wasn’t sure if he’d heard you correctly. But when you repeated it, in that broken, desperate tone, he felt the weight of your confession hit him like a freight train.
He stood there, frozen for a long moment, a strange mix of emotions swirling within him. His heart thudded in his chest, and for a moment, everything felt overwhelming—more so than the injury itself.
——
Zoro had managed to make his way to the deck quietly, not wanting to disturb you. He needed a moment to process what he’d heard. But it wasn’t just the words that had shaken him—it was how much they revealed. How deeply you cared, how much you were hurting, how afraid you were for him.
He’d always known you cared for him. You had always been there for him, quietly supporting him, and he’d grown fond of your presence more than he ever intended. But hearing it like this, in a moment of vulnerability, brought something to the surface that he had spent so long suppressing.
The wound on his side throbbed painfully, but it wasn’t the physical pain that weighed him down. It was your words. The quiet admission that you loved him. Zoro leaned against the railing, trying to clear his head, but the ache in his chest wasn’t going away.
Meanwhile, you had secluded yourself in your room. The crew had calmed down enough to leave you some space, but you couldn’t stop thinking about Zoro. You kept replaying the words over and over in your head, cursing yourself for letting them slip. You didn’t want to burden him.
But what if he didn’t feel the same? The uncertainty gnawed at you, and you hugged your knees to your chest, your face buried in your arms.
——
It wasn’t long before there was a knock at your door. You didn’t want to face anyone, but the soft voice that called your name made you hesitate.
“Y/N? It’s me. Can I come in?”
Your heart jumped in your chest. You didn’t have to ask who it was. You stood and opened the door to find Zoro standing there, looking tired but determined. His clothes were stained with blood, and his usual carefree posture was slightly off, but there was something in his eyes that made you freeze.
“You shouldn’t be up yet,” you said, voice cracking. “You’re injured. You need rest.”
Zoro smirked, but there was no usual arrogance in it—just a tired, soft kind of affection. “I’m fine. I’m not the type to stay in bed when I’m still breathing.”
You opened your mouth to protest, but Zoro cut you off before you could speak.
“Listen,” he began, his voice uncharacteristically gentle, “you don’t need to apologize for what you said earlier.”
Your breath caught in your throat. “Zoro, I didn’t—”
“Don’t deny it.” Zoro took a step closer, his hand reaching out and gently lifting your chin so that your eyes met. “I heard you.”
You swallowed, heart racing. His gaze was intense, but it wasn’t cold. It wasn’t distant. It was something more—something you hadn’t dared to hope for. “I didn’t mean to
I didn’t want to make you feel awkward.”
Zoro’s fingers brushed lightly against your skin, his touch warm and reassuring. “You don’t have to apologize. I just—” he hesitated, his usual tough exterior faltering for just a moment, “I need to say it too.”
You blinked, your heart thumping painfully in your chest. “Say what?”
Zoro’s eyes softened, his usual guarded nature slipping just slightly. “I’ve known for a while now. I’ve just been too stubborn to admit it to myself. But I care about you too. I think
 I think I love you.”
The words hung in the air between you, and for a moment, neither of you moved. You were both standing there, both finally facing what had always been there but had remained unsaid.
“I—I love you too, Zoro,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. “I was just too scared to say it.”
Zoro’s lips tugged into a faint, almost shy smile. Then, without another word, he closed the distance between you and kissed you softly, his hand still gently holding your face. The kiss was slow, tender, filled with everything that had been left unspoken for so long.
When he pulled away, he rested his forehead against yours, his breath shaky. “I’m not going anywhere. Not if you’ll have me.”
And at that moment, everything fell into place.

Flirting For The Mission (Luffy, Sanji, Zoro)
Tumblr media
_____ Pairings: Luffy x Reader; Sanji x Reader; Zoro x Reader Summary: You go undercover and flirt for information, your boyfriend doesn't particularly like it. Warnings: Angst, Fluff, Comfort, Harassment, Unwanted Touching/Kissing [One Piece Masterlist] _____
- Luffy -
The man in front of you is charming, or at least that's what he claims as he talks to you. "Women just can't seem to resist me it seems-" You force yourself not to sigh and not to leave your place next to him as you try to remind yourself what is at stake. Your crew was undercover again, on an island full of powerful enemies, and half of you had gotten captured. In desperate need of information, you had volunteered to flirt with this man, but you hoped the grimace on your face had contorted into a believable smile.
Fortunately for you, this man is so in love with himself he barely seems to notice, but unfortunately for you, it means you have to try a bit harder to get him to spill the information for you. You lean closer tilting your head in mock interest and you force a laugh from your throat at a tasteless joke he spills. He looks up and meets your gaze, eyes sparking in what seems to be surprise and desire; maybe he had finally looked at you properly instead of getting lost in his rants about himself.
A short distance away, Luffy, Zoro and Nami watch from a distance. Unfortunately for you, Nami had already been recognised by the enemy earlier on and so she hadn't been able to take your place, more required to keep a low profile. She was eying you carefully whilst Zoro indulged in drinks and Luffy indulged in the meal placed in front of him. In all honestly, Luffy had been so distracted by the prospect of food he had barely registered the plan that was actively taking place.
"Numi whe-re's [y/n], 'might be hungfy foo!!"
An irk mark rises on Nami's forehead as she hears Luffy's words muffled with the plates of food he devours. "She's trying to get us information, idiot! Were you even paying attention to the plan?!" She whisper-shouts to her Captain who tilts his head in utter confusion, hands not stopping as he continues to reach for food. "Reaflly? Where?" He swallows another plate-full harshly as he grabs a piece of meat. Nami nods her head in the direction of you.
You had leant even closer to the man in front of you, to the point where you were reaching for his hand and causing him to flush red at the proximity. You smiled prettily and gazed up and through your eyelashes, your dress revealing soft flesh that the man couldn't help but admire. He whispers something in your ear that has light laughter fill the air, though Luffy only thinks of the fact that it sounds more strained than usual. Your Captain doesn't know why a sudden twisting feeling erupts within him at the sight of you and him.
"Wow, so you're a commander of this lot, are you?" You say in what you hope is a teasing tone, playing with the man's hands in what you hope is a believable flirt. You nod to the others who are at the bar where you and some of your crew reside; at the men who enjoy their drinks and their meals. "Impressive, isn't it sweetheart? You know, we even captured some of the Strawhat crew this morning. They're nothing compared to our strength-" Finally, a glint of a true smile makes its way onto your face at his words. "Is that so..."
Back at the table, Luffy pouts and suddenly and surprisingly to Nami, slows the pace at which he eats as he watches you. "Why's she there with him?" Nami sighs deeply, though she looks proudly at the way you seem to be getting them the information they so require. "I told you, she's getting information. We need to find out where they're keeping Sanji and the others." Luffy's frown remains on his face. "Why can't we just beat them up?" Nami keeps her eyes trained on you. "Because we don't want unnecessary fighting-"
Her words seem to die on her tongue however as she witnesses a sight she wishes she didn't have to.
You had been about to leave the man in front of you, having got the information you required. But, in your distraction and excuses, you hadn't seen as he leant forward, and suddenly his lips were on yours. Freezing in utter shock, you pushed him back and away as bile rose within you. You see a flash of his confusion before all of a sudden he is flung from the seat in front of you, your boyfriend standing from his seat with an outstretched fist in the air.
Steam seems to unravel from Luffy's skin, his eyes sharp with an anger you have only seen in battles. He pulls his arm back to him from where he has punched the man who had harassed you. "Hey, what do you think you're doing to [y/n]!!" The man you had just taken information from was now unconscious, but his subordinates took notice of your boyfriend's actions. "Hey, it's Strawhat Luffy!!" Zoro takes it as a cue to retrieve his swords but it is for naught as Luffy goes on a rampage, fists flying along with the bodies of men.
You look on in shock until Luffy finally finishes and makes his way to you. "Luffy I-" But before you have the chance to continue, he has connected his own lips to yours, making your words falter in your mouth. When he lets go, Nami and Zoro are looking at you dumbfounded as Luffy grins at you. "There, all better." You blink in utter surprise until a soft, true smile reaches your face, causing Luffy's insides to churn in warmth. "Thank you, Luffy." Your boyfriend grins wider, satisfied with your contentedness.
"No more kissing for information next time! We can just beat them up!"
You continue to smile and try not to roll your eyes.
"... okay Luffy."
- Sanji -
"You expect me to stay here while that no-good, brainless, revolting, bastard touches my [y/n]-chan so carelessly?!"
Zoro's teeth clenched together in blunt irritation at the crew's cook who looks like he is about to explode from the utter rage that fills him. "Yes, now would you control yourself, damn cook?!" Sanji's anger remains on his face, fire building in his eyes at the nonchalant expression on Zoro's face, vastly contrasting his own. "Get out of my way!!" Sanji tries to side-step the swordsman who pulls out two of his swords. "She said she can handle it!"
There is then a flurry of movements as Sanji and Zoro attack each other, legs kicking and swords slicing. They continue only for a short moment, however, as Sanji hears your light laughter from within the building they wait for you outside. The two men pause, looking into a window and at the elaborate party that takes place from within it. As Zoro looks for potential threats, Sanji's eyes instantly go to you.
You are adorned in an utterly beautiful dress that elegantly glides across the space in which you walk side-by-side with a man you try to pry information from. Your group - the Sanji, Zoro, [y/n], group - had come to this Island later than other members of the crew after being separated. However, you had all learnt that Luffy and the others had been captured, resulting in the need to know exactly when and where. The place you were at now was large and full of enemies, so discretion was necessary, thus you volunteered to flirt with one of the executives in charge, much to Sanji's dismay.
Sanji's heart jolts in his chest as he looks at you from outside. How can you be so beautiful? You were like a goddess, an angel. But inside, Sanji felt as though he was also thrown into the pits of hell. The man you talked to was old and rich and completely enamoured by you it seemed. Your flirts and charm were working, as the man seemed entranced by the younger woman on his arm, showing such keen interest in him; Sanji's woman.
"So, powerful man, large mansion, elaborate party, what's the occasion?" You look up with sharp eyes glinting hypnotically; the older man is no match for you. "Well, we captured the Strawhat Crew this morning, if you could call that a source for celebration. Especially their Captain, though his bounty would only be enough to pay for this one party." You smile and let out light laughter, the sound like ringing bells to the man next to you, but it sounds strained to your boyfriend who listens in.
"Care for a drink?" The man holds out a glass of champagne, and you reach for it, but his hands linger and pull you closer to him so you are flush against his side. You force away the sick feeling in your chest and fight to keep the smile on your face at the sudden proximity of him against you. "Thank you," you murmur, as an uncomfortable feeling erupts within you. But you remind yourself you are so close, finally having heard the utterance of your Captain's presence here on this island. Your thoughts, however, are unlike Sanji's.
"That slimy bastard!"
Sanji's anger erupts with such vigour, that he is practically clawing at the glass he looks through, causing Zoro to have to push him back and away from the visibility of those inside. "Have you lost your mind?!" Zoro basically shouts at the cook, but Sanji retorts just as quickly. "Have you?! That's my girlfriend in there-" Zoro tries not to slice off the head of his crewmate, not understanding why he finds it so hard to let you just do what you need to do.
Lucky for him though, amid Sanji's incoherent rambling you have finished your task and were running up to them. "Hey, guys!! I got the information!" Sanji instantly freezes his words and turns, whilst Zoro finally lets his headache ease. "Finally-" "My Love!!" Sanji turns to you instantly, heart in his eyes at the sight of you still adorned in your dress. His hands however then reach for yours, suddenly as serious as his sudden happiness had come.
"Are you okay, love?" You smile gently at the concern that brims in his gaze but you nod easily, finding comfort in the presence of your boyfriend. "I'm fine, but I think we need to go quick before he notices I haven't just gone to the bathroom." Sanji seems to tense once more at the remembrance of the man and how he had touched you, but you seeing that, gently kiss his cheek before guiding him away. "Come on!" Sanji can't seem to say no to you as he nods hesitantly, all the while Zoro grumbles under his breath about how the show of your love has him nauseated and confused.
"Don't pull that lovey-dovey shit while I'm around-"
"Shut up Marimo!"
- Zoro -
"... I don't like this."
Zoro's voice was low as he eyed your figure by the bar, teeth gritted against the other. You were adorned in a beautiful black dress, one you know that he loves, one the man in front of you is enjoying a bit too much. "She'll be fine, she can handle this." Nami rolls her eyes at your protective boyfriend and the permanent frown on his face. He could trust you in battles to take down a thousand men, but not one at this bar who looks to you in clear desire.
"Why couldn't you do this?" Zoro sharply retorts, grip tightening against his bottle of sake to the point where it creaks beneath his fingers. "[y/n] knows these people, and you know we need to keep a low profile if we want to find where they're keeping Luffy and the others." Nami sighed as she thought of the crew who had somehow become captured again by powerful enemies. They needed information, and you were their best bet; it was the best plan they'd got.
Zoro stays silent to Nami's words, eyes not wavering from yours. He can see how you force a smile, hands lingering on the arms of the man in front of you flirty. You batted your eyelashes and laughed, making Zoro's insides churn. He tries to control his emotions and his haki that threatens to spill out from within him, cursing the way you have him so wrapped around your finger. He takes a rough swing of his beverage and continues to brood in the low lighting of the room next to Nami.
You, on the other hand, are getting bored beyond your mind listening to this man talk to you about his role on this vast Island controlled by pirates. The only reason you knew anything of these pirates was because their Captain had taken a liking to you many years ago, before you joined Luffy. But now you see how lucky you were that you rejected his advances to join such a revolting crew. The man in front of you reeks at the proximity you both share and his hand is coming dangerously close to your upper thigh.
"We actually captured a bunch of rookie pirates tonight, the crew of some idiot with a straw hat." The man continuously seems to lose himself to the alcohol in his grasp, but your heart jumps at the mention of your Captain's name. Finally. But just as you are about to get him to expand, that is when his lingering hand finally grasps for the flesh of your upper thigh, his yellowed teeth flashing beneath a sickening smirk. "So, sweetheart-" His words are cut short with the sound of shattering glass.
"Zoro!" Nami whisper-scolds the swordsman and tries to tug him back to his seat to very little avail. "That bastard..." The shattering of glass had been from Zoro's bottle of sake, its contents now spilt upon the table and his unrest causing many eyes to turn to them. But Zoro doesn't care anymore. All he sees is the uncomfortable expression on your face, the grimace that you try to contort to a smile, the hands of a man that isn't his on your figure; the woman he's meant to protect. He witnesses you try to pry back the attention of the man as you lean close to him, making him sick.
"Zoro, come on, please!" Nami continues to whisper as eyes still linger on her and the swordsman. Zoro finally turns to meet eyes with the navigator and her touch falters on his shirt as she looks at the deadly glint in his eyes. Zoro knows what is at stake, but isn't used to being forced to stay put when you are so uncomfortable. He knows what is at stake, but at what cost? At least on battlefields, he can step in if he deems it necessary. He grits his teeth defeatedly and sits back down, eyes now trained on the table to try to control himself.
It feels like eons when you finally make your way back to them.
"Okay, I know where they are we can go now!" Zoro's eyes snap upwards to meet your warm gaze, before travelling behind you to the man asleep on the bar table, most likely your doing. His hand itches for his sword to go and make sure that when the man wakes, he will have no wretched hands any longer, but he recedes. "Let's go," Zoro's voice is short and sharp and he avoids your gaze. Nami rolls her eyes once more at his attitude as you give her a questioning glance, but she shrugs in response as you go to lead them to the crew.
Only a few moments pass when Nami goes to find the keys to where the crew are confined and you go to Zoro who leans against the wall of the room you are yet to enter. "Zoro," you murmur as his gaze reluctantly meets yours. "Are you mad? Look, it was all just to get information, you know I wasn't flirting with that guy on purpose I-" Zoro cuts you off sharply, as he eyes the way your eyebrows furrow together and he realises his anger of the revolting man had seemed like anger towards you.
"I know. I trust you."
Your eyes widen in surprise, and even more so when a slight flush reaches the tips of his ears. Your surprise then morphs into a sigh and a smile lingers on your face as you realise he had just been worried for you, and most likely trying not to commit murder of the man you had to manipulate for information. "If you want some consolation, I did give him a good punch to the ribs before he was knocked out." You whisper as you reach for his hand that had been clenched into a fist. It instantly unravels at your touch as he allows you to hold it and you guide it to the side of your thigh where the man had touched you.
Zoro's eyebrows seem to furrow, but he seems to concede to your words as he traces your figure, trying to eliminate the man's touch from your skin. "That's my girl." You grin as you look up to him when Nami sprints back to you, a hoard of men on her heels. "[y/n]!! Zoro!! Deal with them!!" In her grasp is the key to your crew's confinement and Zoro smirks as he readies his swords, seemingly more at ease now that you are next to him again.
"Mind if I take care of them?"
"By all means."

Why would I be jealous?
Monkey D. Luffy x Wife!Reader
Summary: a prompt provided by @matronofthevoid. Times when others expect Luffy to be jealous, versus times Luffy was actually jealous.
Part VIII
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Hey you’re gorgeous!” The drunkard slurred, hiccuping as he places a heavy hand on your shoulder.
You were two seconds away from committing unspeakable acts of violence but you recognise the man is barely coherent. So instead, you only sigh and wave him off.
The drunkard slouches sadly at your wordless rejection and begins to stumble off back to his table of friends who continue to hoot and holler.
Luffy continues to swallow clumps of food by the fistful - not taking any notice of the hoards of men that have approached you, Nami or Robin this whole evening; all whilst Sanji can’t stop watching the girls like a hawk. “This is unbelievable, how can you call yourself Y/n’s husband when you don’t even notice these filthy savages laying their dirty hands on your wife.” Sanji scolds his captain who’s finally paused from stuffing his face to swallow the lump of food stuck in his throat.
“Huh? What the heck are you talking about?” Luffy huffs- annoyed Sanji is interrupted his delectable feast.
“How can you not get jealous?! I would be driven insane if I saw anyone even glanced at my wife’s direction.” Sanji declares which makes Luffy’s eyes shoot out of his head.
“You’re married?!”
“No you idiot! I’m just saying if Y/n was my wife, I wouldn’t let anyone look, breath or even smile in her direction. But here you are stuffing your face whilst Y/n is harassed and hounded for her good looks.” Sanji spits venomously but Luffy doesn’t even spare a glance. Turning his attention back to his feast.
“I don’t get it.” Luffy he drawls, his brain going blank as he try’s to make sense of Sanji’s words.
Why would Luffy get jealous over other men having working eyes?
Brook places his tea-cup down on his saucer. “So I can ask to see her panties and you wouldn’t be jealous?” Brook asks, a twinkle of mischief in his
 empty eye socket.
“No.” Luffy says stiffly.
“No? So I can ask her?” Brook asks - a glimmer of excitement making his heart race slightly
 figuratively of course.
“No- I mean, don’t do it.” Luffy says pointedly, his serious voice taking over. Sanji lifts his brow.
“So you would get jealous of that?” Sanji taunts but Luffy shakes his head.
“No.”
The vein in Sanji’s forehead makes its return at his captains elusive words. “Why the hell not?”
“Because.” Luffy answers taking a hulking bite out of the meat stick, chewing slowly before swallowing the lump of flesh. “She’ll kill you.”
Now don’t get it wrong. It’s not like Luffy doesn’t get jealous. He certainly does, just not in ways other people expect.
It’s a brand new sunny day on the Thousand Sunny. The cloudless sky was inviting Luffy to come out to play - only for the day to start in chaos when you are no where to be found.
“Nami! Y/n fell overboard! I can’t find her anywhere!” Luffy shouts in a panic running in circles.
“Would you calm down!” Nami shouts back. “She’s swimming on the port side with Gimbe!” Dashing to the port side, Luffy flings himself onto the rail in a frenzied panic only to see you laughing and splashing about.
Luffy’s face sours to a childish pout. “Hey no fair, I wanna play too.” Luffy mumbles, his jutted chin sitting on the rail. “Hey Y/n! At the next island come explore with me!” Luffy suggests enthusiastically, only for you to turn him down.
“Sorry Stretch, Nami and Robin asked me to go shopping with them. Besides, I can’t keep wearing the same clothes everyday.” Luffy grumbles at the rejection.
“Fine! At least come have breakfast with me!” Luffy demanded only for you to smile back apologetically.
“
 I kinda already ate though
” The gasp of betrayal that poured from Luffy’s throat was so tangible that you knew you had some making up to do.

Sanji didn't think he'd make it this far, a woman, an ACTUAL woman was laying in his bed, this wasn't a dream, this was real life.
You were laying back your silky robe was loose enough to show off your goods as you looked at him waiting for him to make a move.
But he didn't move, he was stiff and sat up straight his hands folded in front of himself placed neatly on his lap and fully clothed, you called out to him snapping him out of his own head "you gonna stare or are you gonna fuck me?" you asked, legs spreading open Sanji catching a glimpse of your slick folds.
Sanji almost seen the light as he went stiff a blood gushing out of his nose, you sat up in worry, moving over to him but soon as your hand touched his shoulder he stood up.
"I-I-I'll be back!"
He stated before running to the bathroom, leaving you alone on his bed. "Get yourself together Sanji...you've got a woman waiting for you out there, a damn fine woman at that! so man up and get your ass out there!" whipping off the blood Sanji left the bathroom and walked over to you his legs going numb the closer he got.
You watched him a sultry smile gracing your face thinking you were finally gonna have your fun when he plopped right back down on the edge of his bed still stiff as a board, you huffed getting off the bed "alright if you don't wanna do this it's fine" you were upset and a little embarrassed.
Sanji realized his mistake and quickly grabbed your hand "w-wait, i'm sorry, I just....I just never gotten this far before most women just turn me down" Sanji had a bright red blush across his face.
He pulled you closer so you were standing in between his legs his hands resting on your hips his lovesick eyes staring up at you, tilting your head you giggled "you've never felt the touch of a woman?" Sanji looked away gulping
Your hands slid up his chest to his neck "well if you gave me a chance to I could fix that" Sanji swallowed thickly "y-yeah" he shakily pulled you onto his lap.
"There you go" rolling your hips forward you settled yourself in his lap he looked you up and down "can I...can I touch you?" he asked, "that's the only thing i've been wanting you to do to me all night" you stated rolling your eyes.
Sanji chuckled letting his hands roam your body, you started to undo the buttons on his shirt, leaning closer you captured his lips surprising him the faint taste of cigarettes and mints.
Sanji pulled away to press kisses further down your neck you moaned his name gripping onto his shoulders. That seemingly fueled his flame as he started to grope and fondle your body.
Grinding your hips against his, you could feel how hard he was "ooh so hard just for me?" he nodded his head rapidly "yeah all for you baby mhm fuck" he groaned.
Pulling his hands off of you, you lowered yourself onto your knees "want me to make you feel good? hm?" you asked rubbing your hand against his boner resting your head on his thigh.
He nodded tensing up again "please, please baby please I need this" you obeyed and unbuckled his pants "wow. better than I imagined" you muttered.
He smirked "you imagined this?" you smacked the tip of his cock sending a jolt through his body "shush" taking one long lick up his cock making him let out a long groan.
Taking him in your mouth Sanji's hands flew to your hair grabbing it as you took him all the way down letting your tongue swirl around his cock "fuck~ hah ah, ah fuck that feels good~" his grip on your hair only grew tighter as you bobbed your head up and down.
The warm and wet mouth taking him in so well had his head spinning.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck wait I-I-!" before he knew it he had came right in your mouth, lifting your head up you giggled at his the embarrassed look on his face, swallowing his cum you looked up at him still pumping his cock with your hand "barely even did anything, cute" he covered his face with the back of his hand his gaze looking away.
"Sorry"
"S'okay, just makes me wonder how many times I can get you to cum before tap out" you state before placing his still hard cock in between your breasts pressing them together you moved them up and down at a slow place. Sanji groaned his hips bucking upwards, his previous orgasm lingering as he gripped the sheets.
"Ya like that? huh?" you asked taking his tip into your mouth, Sanji nodded his head rapidly "y-yeah k-keep going just like that hah~" you swirled you tongue around the tip but just before he had the sweet release of cumming in your mouth again you pulled your head away.
Through heavy breaths he looked down at you "wh-why'd you stop?" he asked a sheen of sweat coating his face and body. You pressed a kiss to his tip causing him to jolt.
"You can't be the only one feeling good, i'm feeling needy too" Sanji nodded pulling you up "can I try something?" he asked, you nodded pressing a kiss to his lips.
He backed himself up dragging you closer "sit." you cocked your head to the side, "sit on my face." he explained, you let a laugh "oh Sanji~" climbing up on him Sanji grinned from ear to ear "eager aren't you?" you asked, but before you knew it Sanji had started to eat you out his tongue flicking skillfully against your slick folds.
A surprised moan left your mouth as you hunched forward grabbing the headboard "a-ah! ah wait, w-wait" Sanji had his hands groping at your thighs holding you in place as you rode his face.
"taste...mm so good~ fuck- sweeter than I could ever dream fuck~" Sanji groaned against you, he continued to lap up all your juices "ah~ S-Sanji ah! mgn feels s'good, hah!" between the way your pussy tasted to how you screamed his name was driving him insane.
--★--
It's at least been an hour and you were still seated right on his face, he just couldn't get enough, you had came at least 3 times now and still he held you down mumbling and muttering against your swollen pussy.
Spit, cum, and slick all dripping down from your thighs onto Sanji's face. When you couldn't take it anymore you grabbed his hair yanking his head back causing him to groan "can't take, m-much more...." you mumbled scooting back "please j-just one more please, darling please?" you hovered over his cock sliding down onto it.
He gasped gripping your hips tightly "yes...hah yes s-so good just f'me, feels so good-pussy feels so good fuck~" you started to bounce up and down moan as his cock slid in and out of you riding right on the edge of ecstasy.
Your nails dug into his back leaving painfully scratch marks but Sanji was so lost in pleasure he didn't even notice. Suddenly he felt that tightness reamurge as he cursed "f-fuck m'gonna cum..." he mumbled dropping his head.
Your hands tangled in his hair yanking his head up "shut up." you hushed his babbling by kissing him his muffled whines and whimpers filling your ears suddenly he froze up before bucking his hips up as he came hard. You also came, your body shuddering as you both slowed your movements leaning back you looked up seeing him breathing heavily.
Sanji looked at you "l-let me...clean you up" he slowly pulled out of you watching the cum leak out of your hole. Sanji could feel him growing hard again upon seeing your body splayed out on the bed forcing himself to get up he went into the bathroom to clean you off.
Afer the long matter he laid down pulling you into his chest pressing a kiss against your forehead. "Goodnight my love." he muttered, You cuddled closer to him "goodnight..." both of you falling asleep.
.
.
A/n: I have such a love/hate relationships with Sanji. But I always see things about how Sanji would be sooo good in bed, and I disagree I feel like at first he would be so stiff (pun intended) and not know what to do with himself.

Half of the chapter is done, but it’s so bad that I’m rewriting the whole thing 💀 This time might take me longer to upload, so I’m sorry about that 😕 A big thank you to all of you who gave me feedback on my last post regarding the upcoming chapter <333 Knowing that you are okay with the slow burn pace between Reader and Ace, it gave me the confidence to not rush things and let it happen naturally as I originally planned to 💕 Also I removed the entire smut part as it wasn’t even between them two, it was only for one of them but we will get there someday đŸ€Ł
Anyway enjoy this beautiful fanart of MY MAN ACE which heavily inspired the next chapter (the artist is @dekazeze on Twitter / X ) and if you haven't read the story yet here is the masterlist

thinking about luffy who absolutely hates wearing condoms, always pouting whenever you make him wear one after your period came late one time and making you fear for the worst.
and while luffy didn’t actually get you pregnant, the thought alone sent your head back on straight, realising you definitely need to start using protection.
“but why? i can just pull out! it doesn’t feel as good with a condom..”, luffy tries to counter, pouting at your shaking head when you tell him for a final time, it’s sex with a condom or no sex at all.
however, luffy can be such a brat.
it doesn’t matter how firm you are or how hard you put your foot down, luffy always manages to get his way with you one way or another.
so here you are, letting your boyfriend fuck you raw with your legs resting on his shoulders as he pounds into your glossy pussy, holding back his triumphant smirk.
“see? doesn’t it feel so much better raw..?”, he asks so innocently despite the filth he was doing to you, smiling wide when he sees you nod your head mindlessly with pretty whines falling from your lips.

Captain's Orders
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
჊ summary: Perhaps the summer heat was finally getting to his head, making him feel delirious and restless, or perhaps it was the way the summer season looked so good on you, with sweat trickling down your neck and the strings of your bikini trying their best to keep you covered. But one thing was for sure, what bothered him most (despite his obliviousness), was the look Sanji kept throwing your way and his unwillingness to leave your side the whole day.
჊ pairing: jealous!luffy x reader

Jealous!Luffy who sat on his special seat on the Thousand Sunny, watching intently at the interaction before him. His back against the lion's head and arms crossed behind his head in a laid-back manner, despite the intensity of his stare. The captain's precious straw hat resting on his head tilted down, hiding the murderous glare directed at Sanji.
Jealous!Luffy who was stuck watching the interaction before him, how you have Sanji wrapped around your little finger, catering to your very beck and call. His glare unwavering as he saw the way Sanji was looking at you, at the way he was ogling at you, practically undressing you with his perverted eyes.
Jealous!Luffy who recognizes the look Sanji was giving you. Hell, it was the same look he has whenever he sees you. Although... Luffy can't blame Sanji for his lustful gaze, not when you were perched prettily on the lawn chair, looking like an appetizing meal, tempting and delicious.
Jealous!Luffy who was starting to get restless from how you were carelessly sitting there, looking pretty and taking every single compliment Sanji threw your way with a smile on your lovely face. He was getting frustrated from listening to your adorable giggles whenever Sanji showered you with compliments, bringing a smile to your glossy kissable lips. A tiny green monster crawling its way into his heart as he sat unmoving from his seat, watching another man treat you like you were his, when you belonged to Luffy.
Jealous!Luffy who will forever be a kid at heart. Greedy and possessive over what belongs to him. After all, what belongs to Luffy, is his. He did not like to share his food, and he definitely won't share you and the sweet dessert between your thighs. These were merely the captain's orders.
Jealous!Luffy who finally had enough. Getting up from the lion's head, Luffy made a beeline towards your direction. Ignoring the curious looks his other crew mates sent his way, his grip on your forearm firm, maybe a little too firm, and pulling you up as the chair launches to the floor. Ignoring your protests and questions, he made his way towards the women's cabin with you meekly following behind.
Jealous!Luffy who can be impatient at times, kicking the door open and throwing you onto the bed. He can be so impatient, and forgetful too, about locking the door. But you can't blame him, can you? Not when you look breathtaking with your bare back against the bed, your pathetic excuse of a bikini hastily taken off and thrown across the room, and your hair sprawled across the sheets, framing your beautiful face. There was no need for him to tell you what to do, it had become routine work for you.
Jealous!Luffy who can be so mean at times, eagerly coating himself with your slick, before aligning with your slutty pussy and thrusting his cock inside your warm cunt with little to no prep. But he couldn't help himself, not when your silky warm walls were clenching on his cock, trying to milk him for everything he's worth, and especially not when he had you squirming and crying underneath him, begging him for more and more and more. He couldn't help himself, not when the squelching sounds the both of you made were music to his ears, or how the drag of his veins running along the underside of his cock felt like pure heaven against your spongy tight walls.
Jealous!Luffy who worshiped your very existence, marking you as his for others to see. He left bruises and bite marks across your delicate skin, decorating every inch of you his hands or mouth could find. His grip on your hips never weakened, nails digging into your flesh and leaving behind crescent shapes. He continued with his assault. Kissing, licking, and biting from your neck and collarbone, all the way to the valley of your breasts.
Jealous!Luffy who’s pace only increased with each thrust, going harder and faster as he desperately chased after his and your release. Your back arched and nails digging in his back desperately for stability as you clench impossibly tight on his dick, pulling him in further as you come undone around him. But Luffy wasn't done with you just yet.
Jealous!Luffy who kept fucking your poor cunt over and over again, chasing after his release. Until finally, he came. The tip of his cock kissing your cervix as he released his seed deep inside your fertile cunt. Your name rolling off the tip of his tongue like a prayer.
Jealous!Luffy who watched your sensitive pussy spill out his cum, unable to keep it all stuffed inside your tight hole. Using his right index and middle finger, he played around with the mixture of his and your cum, spreading it across your poor puffy lips and pushing it back into your sweet hole. Bringing his fingers to his mouth, he happily cleaned them, humming in approval at his satisfied hunger.

When Luffy catches you getting a little too friendly with another crew, he pulls you aside mid-adventure to reclaim your lips—and remind you exactly who you belong to.

Luffy was not the jealous type. At least, not openly.
He didn’t throw tantrums. He didn’t scowl. He didn’t sulk (okay, maybe a little). But when he missed you, when his chest ached in that weird, warm way it did only when you weren’t close enough—he did act.
It started with a weird silence during breakfast.
You were laughing at something Sanji said while Luffy... just stared at you from across the table, pancake hanging halfway out of his mouth. Big, dark eyes locked onto yours like a hawk, not blinking, not smiling—just watching.
You had to wave a hand in front of his face.
“Yo, Captain Daydream, you good?”
He blinked slowly, tilted his head. “You smell different.”
You raised a brow. “Hygiene. You should try it sometime.”
He didn’t laugh. Just got up and walked around the table, leaning close enough that you had to lean back.
“You’re not wearing my shirt,” he murmured.
The crew froze.
Zoro snorted into his cup. “Are we at that stage now?”
You rolled your eyes. “It was dirty, Lu. I washed it.”
Luffy’s mouth twisted like that was the worst answer imaginable.
.
.
The crew had docked on Coral Cove Island—a little fishing town lined with rainbow-painted docks and salty air. The mission was simple: stock up, unwind, don’t blow up any buildings this time.
You, of course, had wandered off with your own list and ended up running into a friendly crew called the Shellbacks. They were loud, fun, and competitive. Naturally, you’d challenged their swordsman to a spar, beat him in five minutes, and somehow became their new honorary crewmate by the time Luffy arrived.
And Luffy?
He didn’t like that.
He sat on the nearby barrels, arms crossed, hat low over his eyes while you ruffled one of the Shellback’s hair and cheered at their stories.
“Y/N,” he called out flatly.
You turned. “Yeah?”
“Time to go.”
You blinked. “I just got here—”
“We’re leaving.”
Your eyes narrowed. He was already walking away, back tense.
The Shellbacks looked at you with raised brows.
You sighed. “Guess Captain needs his emotional support human.”
.
.
“Okay, what’s up with you?”
You caught up with him halfway down the dock, tugging on his vest until he stopped. His jaw was set, pout forming.
“You were gonna stay with them instead of me.”
“Oh my god,” you groaned. “We were talking.”
“You sparred with their swordsman.”
“And?”
“You laughed like you do with me.”
You paused. That made your brows furrow, a little sting in your heart at how small his voice got.
“Lu... are you—jealous?”
He squinted at you. “I don’t know. I just didn’t like it. You’re my crew. My favorite.”
You softened. Luffy didn’t know the words for most feelings, but he felt them hard. Deep. All-consuming.
“I wasn’t replacing you,” you said gently. “You’re kind of... impossible to replace.”
His eyes flicked to your mouth. “Still not wearing my shirt.”
You snorted. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Mm.”
And then he stepped close—one hand sliding to your waist, another catching your chin.
“Lu?”
“Just wanna check something.”
And he kissed you.
.
.
It started soft. Almost unsure. His lips moved over yours like he was remembering the shape of them. His hand tightened around your waist as his nose brushed your cheek, breath warm and sweet with leftover syrup.
Then you kissed back.
Your hands fisted in his vest, pulling him close, swallowing the low noise that rumbled in his throat. Luffy pushed forward, walking you backward until your back hit a wooden post. His hat tilted with the movement, casting both your faces in shadow. He grinned against your mouth.
“You still taste like me,” he murmured.
You tugged his hair lightly. “That doesn’t even make sense.”
“I missed your flavor.”
You laughed. “You’re such a dork—”
He kissed you again, harder this time.
His tongue swept past your lips without warning, and you gasped—he stole the sound, lips slanting deeper, chest pressing to yours. You melted, caught between the warm wood and your captain’s sun-kissed body.
By the time he pulled back, both of you were breathless.
He licked his lips.
“Still missed it.”
You wheezed. “You’re insatiable.”
Luffy just grinned. “Duh. I’m a pirate shishishi.”
.
.
By the time you got back to the Sunny, your face still felt warm.
Nami raised a brow. “You two disappear and now your mouth’s swollen?”
“Bitten by jealousy,” you mumbled.
Luffy happily dropped down next to her. “I won.”
She blinked. “Won what?”
He wrapped his arm around your waist from behind, pulling you down beside him. “Y/N.”
You squirmed. “I’m not a prize—”
“You’re my prize,” he said, absolutely shameless.
Zoro grunted. “Disgusting.”
Usopp nodded solemnly. “I agree for once.”
Luffy just nuzzled into your neck, lips brushing your ear.
“You’re not allowed to taste like anyone else.”
Your heart stuttered.
“I wasn’t planning on it.”
.
.
You found yourself unable to sleep. The sea was calm, the sky blanketed with stars, and the moonlight pooled silver across the Sunny’s deck.
Luffy found you again. He always did.
You felt his presence before you heard him—warmth against your back, arms curling around your middle.
“I meant it,” he said into your neck.
You leaned back into him. “I know.”
He tilted your chin again, gaze heavy with something almost too intense to name.
“I don’t know how to say it like Sanji or that talking snail you like—”
You chuckled. “It’s called a novel.”
“Whatever. But I do know you’re mine.”
You raised a brow. “Oh, possessive now?”
His grin widened. “SHISHISHI only with you!”
He kissed you again—slower, deeper, hands tracing your hips with the kind of reverence usually reserved for treasure maps. You arched into it, threading your fingers through his hair, gasping softly when he licked into your mouth like he had all the time in the world.
He did. For you.
He was the Pirate King in the making, after all.
And you? You were already the treasure.

Or, Luffy promised to marry you someday when you were kids. This is how he keeps his promise.

A/N: I've had this fic in mind for ages but finally managed to squeeze the words out of my brain thanks to the encouragement of my followers đŸ„č This fic is an attempt to write Luffy in love in the most beliavable/close to canon way possible. Let's hope I'll succeed :D - This is a afab!reader insert, so no physical traits will be described EXCEPT that I'm giving you reading glasses because Luffy needs to give you a silly nickname based on your appearance like he does to everybody. - If you like the fic, PLEASE interact with it so I can keep motivated to write the next parts đŸ„č And per usual, English is not my first language. Enjoy!!

Heavy rain fell over the Goa Kingdom the night you killed that man.
Alex Husquid was his name. A small nobleman, heir to the Husquid fortune and businesses. Born and raised at the Dawn Island, probably never left the East Blue and probably never would have wanted to, since his source of power and prestige was located here. Married to a woman called Frida. Father of three healthy boys, all around your age.
Just a common, law-abiding citizen in this god forsaken corner of the world.
But his successful whiskey business pissed someone bigger than him, which meant he had to die.
You didn’t know who your contractors were – you never did. They hid behind Den Den Mushis with voice distortion or faceless messengers. Discretion and secrecy was the soul of the business; that went both ways. The contractors didn’t know who you were either. Didn’t know your face, or your brothers’ faces, or your mother’s, or your father’s, or your grandfather’s

No one should see the face of a Scarpia family member and live to tell the next day.
Your breathing echoed inside the mask made especially to hide your small face. Your grandfather threw the runes made of bones the day you were born, and the runes said that your animal – the one that would represent your soul the most – was the wolf. And so, your mask was the image of a wolf’s face. Eerily white, contrasting with the black raincoat you wore.
The wolf is an auspicious animal, your grandfather said. Lone. Smart. Ferocious. Good to business.
The entire family expected you to honor this mask that night.
It was your first trial – the first time an assassination was assigned to you, the first time you’d have to take a commission on your own. Up until then, you’d only assist your brothers or watch them work from far. But you were eight years old now, and that was the right age to be initiated. You had trained enough. You were ready.
Just a small commission. Alex Husquid was a nobleman, but not that noble. This little and humid archipelago in the East Blue was far from being important. Not a death that would cause a stir. It honestly even felt that your father was belittling your capabilities with this commission. Why were you assigned to kill a short ugly nobleman at the end of the world, while Crowley who was only one year older got commissioned with Marines or troublesome pirates in the New World?
Because I’m the girl, you thought with resigned anger.
Well. Whatever.
It’s not like you wanted to impress them anyway. This was boring. The travel to the East Blue was boring, this commission was boring, having to stare at Landon’s ugly mustache the entire travel was boring. The only good thing that came from this initiation is that it also happened to be your birthday. The only day in the year where you had permission to do whatever you wanted.
So you just had to get this over with.
Alex Husquid was alone in his office, scribbling something on his desk. You watched him intently from the roof of the nearest house. Heavy rain fell over your head, lightnings illuminated the night sky from time to time, thunders roared. This storm would be your perfect ally.
Alex had left a breach on his window, probably to let some fresh air enter the room despite the rain.
That mistake would cost his life.
It wasn’t hard to jump from the roof into his room. Your feet made no noise when they touched the carpet. Your presence, barely a breeze from outside. But despite your best efforts, it called Alex’s attention.
Your father and grandfather had talked about it many times – and you had seen it from far, too, observing your brothers work. Humans have a weird sixth sense. They somehow always know death is near.
And death, to him, came in the form of a child.
Alex got a bit startled, but sat down again on his leather chair. All he saw was a kid wearing a white wolf mask. All he thought was that one of his sons put a funny costume to spook him.
A smile was beginning to take form on his chapped lips.
He didn’t have time to complete it.
You focused on your right hand. Your nails grew, sharpened like blades. When you launched yourself towards him, you made no noise – no disturbance in the room despite your inhumane speed, no wrinkles on the carpet. Silent. Fast. Unnoticeable. Like it should be.
Your nails slit his throat faster than his mind could comprehend. A deep cut, deep enough so he wouldn’t be able to scream. His eyes widened. He gagged in silent despair. He looked at the figure of a child standing over his desk, their face hidden behind a white wolf mask, and tears welled up his eyes.
He would be dead in a minute.
You knew it’d take a long time for anyone to find his body. The entire house was asleep. So you decided to stand there and watch until life completely left his body – until he stopped trembling, until he was soaked with his own blood, until his eyes were empty.
Just an uninhabited corpse.
Boring.
You flew out the same window you used to enter.
While landing on the nearest roof, you looked down at your right hand. Your nails were back to normal; your fingertips were bloody. You frowned. That wasn’t a clean cut. You’d have to work on that.
“Congratulations on your first solo commission, Young Mistress.”
An instinctive huff emerged from your chest. Of course, you knew he’d be around – he was always around, this boring old man. You turned around to face Landon and his annoying mustache.
The butler wore his usual boring black suit and boring white gloves and boring umbrella to protect him from the rain. Despite his words, he had the same blank expression over his features. Hell, was he boring.
“I should note, however, that you were sloppy. Your target noticed your presence. You also caused unnecessary mass bleeding. A good assassin is always–“
“Clean.” You concluded for him with annoyance.
Landon didn’t seem to care. He never seemed to care about anything.
“It’s past midnight. It is now your birthday. What do you wish to do?”
“I wish to be left alone.” You didn’t bother looking back at him as you took off your mask and shoved it inside the bag crossed around your chest. “Do not follow me.”
Landon wasn’t surprised. You spent most of your time trying to run away from him, his lessons, his unstoppable and overwhelming watch. Sometimes you managed to get some time alone. Most times you didn’t.
But it was your birthday, so today he had to obey.
Not that you’d have much to do in this boring island at this boring kingdom at the least interesting part of the ocean.
At least, you’d be truly alone for the next 24 hours.
You jumped from roof to roof away from Landon, satisfied to know that he wasn’t following you for once – and wondering if this island could entertain you in the only day of freedom you had.
Tumblr media
The town was boring. As expected.
Small. The buildings weren’t very tall, there weren’t many nice stores or restaurants. It was even funny how the people living at this part of the island walked around with high chins and chests full of pride
their city, their properties and titles were nothing compared to the magnificent islands of the New World. But they were just simple minded creatures, you knew; they never planned to leave this place. They would never understand that the world was vast and that they didn’t matter on the grand scheme of things.
So you didn’t waste much time there.
Then there was the giant junkyard at the other side of the city, separated from it by a high wall. Mountains and mountains of trash, rubble and junk extended for maybe two or three kilometers. It smelled as bad as you’d expect and a strange gray fog hovered in the air. Gray Terminal was a suitable name, indeed.
Surprisingly, that place was a bit more interesting than the town.
Poor people gathered like vermin over meat around the junk mountains. Scavengers looking for anything valuable. In the span of maybe thirty minutes, you saw a few fights popping here and there. It was a bit entertaining to sit and watch how normal people fought. But you decided to leave not only because the place really smelled bad, but because your good clothes and your neat pigtails would probably draw unwanted attention.
So you walked into the woods nearby – and finally, things got interesting.
One or two hours of walking took you deep into the forest. It was very obviously a rainforest with the heat and humidity expected from it, which made you take your raincoat and jacket off, shoving them inside your backpack. You quickly realized you were, in fact, climbing a mountain. The human sounds were replaced with the sounds of nature – leaves shuffling, birds chirping, and the noises of many other unknown animals.
What caught your attention at first was the sheer size of the trees – the deeper you got into the mountain, the bigger they got. Some seemed to be taller than thirty meters. Some branches were thicker than actual tree trunks.
But you soon found out that the trees weren’t the only giant things there.
The floor shook beneath your feet in regular intervals. Steps of something extremely heavy.
You expanded your perception to a wider radius than what your eyes could see and your ears could hear – and came to a conclusion. Immediate danger.
You swiftly jumped up to the nearest tree, standing on its lower branch – which was still pretty high, probably eight meters away from the ground, and waited in complete silence.
What came from between the trees made your eyes widen.
A bear. But not just any brown bear. That thing was colossal. Ridiculously big. Its claws seemed to be as tall as you.
And finally, you were excited about something.
You immediately took the small notebook from your backpack and started sketching the beast, silently regretting not bringing a Den Den Mushi to take a picture of it (you knew Landon would put a tracking device on it if you brought one with you, so you decided not to). You sketched the creature as fast as you could before it could disappear inside the forest again, making quick annotations around the drawing.
You knew that many islands had strange and unique fauna and flora, though you’d only read about it in books. You’d never seen abnormal animals like that, and honestly didn’t expect to find anything like this out of the Grand Line.
A small smile grew on your lips.
Your birthday wouldn’t be that boring, after all.
You looked down at the notebook and tightened your eyes. Oh
the bear came and went so quickly that you didn’t have time to put your round reading glasses on. After taking them from the backpack, you could see with clarity that you missed many details. You sat down on the branch and made the finishing touches.
It was time to move on.
Tumblr media
You began to feel a little hungry past noon.
Not that you weren’t used to not eating for long periods of time. A good assassin must be in control of all of their physiological necessities at all times. What if a commission takes place at a critical environment? What if you need to be undercover for long periods of time to study your target? Things like hunger should be brushed aside. You’d only eat when your body begged for it.
But you were so entertained that your rumbling belly was just an afterthought.
Only a day wouldn’t be enough to catalog all of what you’ve found. Who would’ve thought this insignificant island would have so much to offer?
Going deeper into the mountain, you saw even more strange animals. Giant tigers and more bears and alligators in a river nearby. Why did the fauna at this island became so gigantic? What must’ve happened in their evolutionary process? In the span of only a few hours, you filled more than twenty pages with sketches and notes.
Morpho menelaus, you scribbled at the top of the page while checking your Insect Encyclopedia to be completely sure. It was pretty unmistakable: the beautiful blue wings of the butterfly resting in front of your eyes couldn’t be replicated by any other species. You held your breath, made sure to not produce any sound as to not scare the butterfly away. Why didn’t I bring a Den Den Mushi?, you scolded yourself for the hundredth time. It would’ve made your life so much easier.
You were almost finishing the sketch. This butterfly had a very specific black pattern at the tip of its wings and you wanted to convey it perfectly. You rushed to catch its details before it would go away–
“What are you doing?”
You gasped and turned around in a jump.
Of course, you knew there was something approaching – but it didn’t exude immediate danger, so you assumed it was just a squirrel or something.
It definitely wasn’t a squirrel.
It was a
 boy.
The stranger looked at you with round, curious dark brown eyes – so dark that they almost looked completely black. A bit shorter than you, but definitely your age; his hair was a mess of black, almost completely hidden under a straw hat that was too big for his head. His olive skin was covered with dirt, just like the rest of his clothes – a red tank top and battered jeans shorts. He had a thin curvy scar under his left eye and a bandaid over the bridge of his nose.
He blinked.
You blinked.
But slowly, your surprise dissipated. A frown set on your face.
...Boring.
You turned around. The butterfly had obviously flown away. An annoyed sigh went past your lips.
You started to walk away.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” He whined. His voice was annoyingly high pitched. You heard the tap tap of his sandals fast approaching. “What are you doing here? Are you lost?”
“Do I look lost?” You groaned between gritted teeth. Why did you even answer him?
“Well, then, are you stupid?”
This made you turn to look at him.
He didn’t seem bothered by your angry face.
“Why the hell would you want to climb Mt. Colubo alone?” The boy continued. “Never seen you ‘round Foosha or downtown. You’re from High Town, aren’t you? With those fancy clothes and all?”
You went back to walking.
He followed.
“This forest is pretty dangerous, did you know that? It’s not a place for the weak.” Then what are you doing here, too?, is what you wanted to ask, but you resigned to stay silent. “It’s full of monsters and poisonous snakes and bandits. They’ll want to steal you.” More silence. “By the way, my name is–“
“Shhhh!” You shushed him angrily before jumping to the branch of a tree.
You immediately opened your notebook again and started scribbling while crouching down.
To your distaste, you heard him jump after you. “What are you–?”
“Shhhh!” You shushed more aggressively this time. “You’ll scare it away!”
The boy tilted his head to the side and finally found what you were looking at while sketching rapidly.
“Ooooh,” he was surprisingly quiet this time.
Onychocerus albitarsis, you wrote at the top of the page. Commonly known as Scorpion Beetle. The brown, black and white insect moved slowly, its long antennae scooping the wood beneath it.
“This one’s pretty poisonous, did you know that?” He said. You didn’t need to turn your head to know he was looking from over your shoulder.
“Hmm.”
“I learned it the worst way.” He hissed as if remembering the pain of the sting. “You ain’t never seen one before? There are plenty of these here.” Silence. “None at the High Town, I guess? Yeah, I don’t think these stuck up people like insects.” More silence. “Is this why you’re here? To see insects?” He leaned away slightly. “Are you some sort of insect hunter?”
You paused for a second.
Shit. He definitely saw the family crest embroidered on the back of your shirt: the red symbol of a scorpion. You were sloppy once more. No one was supposed to see that family crest.
At the same time, there was no way this boy would know what it meant, so you decided to brush it aside.
“Well, I’m a pirate.” He seemed proud of himself, a sonorous smile in his voice. “Huh, not yet, but I’ll be one day. I’m gonna be the King of Pirates!” Silence. The boy hummed after a few seconds. “You’re pretty boring, did you know that, Four Eyes?”
You whipped your head at him for the first time.
“What did you just call me?”
“Four Eyes.” He was, once again, unbothered by your ferocious glare. His eyes fell over your notebook. “But you draw pretty well. Not better than me, though. Oh! It’s gone.”
You turned back in time to see the beetle flying away.
You sighed deeply and got up again while looking at him angrily. The boy got up, too. He either didn’t understand why you were angry or simply didn’t care.
“...I only wear glasses when I need to read,” you said between gritted teeth.
He blinked.
“And?”
You rolled your eyes and jumped to the floor again.
“Where are you going now?”
“Why are you following me?” You retorted. From the corner of your eye, you saw him rest both hands behind his head in a relaxed position.
“I got nothing better to do and I don’t see other kids here often.” Then, he opened a wide grin – you could probably see all his teeth with that smile. “Let’s be friends!”
You looked ahead again, feeling your stomach twirl.
Your father’s deep voice echoed inside your mind.
A Scarpia family member does not have friends.
Friends are weaknesses. A Scarpia only needs another Scarpia.
You tightened your fists.
No one should see the face of a Scarpia family member and live to tell the next day.
If you followed these rules to a ten, you’d have killed that boy already.
It’s what your father would have wanted. It’s what your brothers would have done. You’d seen them doing that before. This weird straw hat kid had already seen your face unmasked and the family crest on your back. If Landon were here, he would even have finished him for you.
It wouldn’t be hard to kill him. He wouldn’t even notice you slicing his throat with your nails.
But

He wasn’t a commission. You didn’t want to dirt your fingertips with blood if you didn’t need to. There was no way this boy even knew what the Scarpia family was.
So you quickened your pace without looking back.
He followed.
You started running.
He followed.
You sprinted.
“Hey!” He yelled

And followed.
You ran in zigzag in between the trees, climbing thick vines and jumping down cliffs, trying to mislead him – but damn, that boy actually seemed to know where he was going, differently from you. He was slower, but that was definitely an advantage. Shit, stop following me! Leave me alone! Why are you following me anyway?! How are you keeping up?!
Why– why are you laughing?!
Actually laughing. Not in a mocking way. He laughed at the top of his lungs, that huge grin never leaving his face.
“I’m gonna catch you!” He yelled.
“No, you won’t!” You yelled back. Why were you yelling?
“Just you wait!” And he laughed again.
That stirred something inside you.
You focused all of your strength in your legs; you visualized the energy in your body gathering there like white lines. The burst of adrenaline. A technique to be used in an escape situation.
When you got impulse to step forward, the floor cracked beneath your feet.
You sprinted away – so fast that it almost felt like flying. The world around you went by in a confusing blur, wind howled on your ears with the speed. As you didn’t know the area, you didn’t know exactly how many meters you ran – five hundred meters? Seven hundred? Your record was nine hundred meters, and you hoped to reach a kilometer soon, preferably before Crowley could do it.
It took a lot of effort to stop.
You rested both hands over your knees, panting. That was the disadvantage of this technique: it was too tiring. You couldn’t do it more than once a day and you still didn’t know how to take turns, always sprinting on a beeline. Your father could do it as many times as he wanted and change directions in the blink of an eye. You hoped to reach his level someday.
Well. That was enough to mislead that weirdo, at least.
You straightened your back and dried your sweaty forehead with the back of your hand. You had aimed north, which meant you went higher into the mountain
you’d have to find your compass inside the backpack to be sure. Luckily, you had been marking the trees as to find the way out easily–
And that’s when someone slapped the back of your neck.
You turned around in a jump, already taking a fight stance–
It was that boy.
He grinned so wide that it looked like his cheeks would rip apart.
“Tag! You’re it!” He announced before turning around and– and–
And running away.
You stood there, completely shocked, following him with your eyes.
How
 how
?
Did he reach you in a minute and half?
He ran over five hundred meters in a minute and half?
Who the hell was that boy?!
He realized you weren’t following after a while. He turned around, still smiling – but confusion covered his features.
“You’re it!” He yelled from there as if reminding you.
He was distancing himself from you. You should take that opportunity to run in the opposite direction and finally get rid of him. But something made you stop – something that completely silenced the voice of reason, the voice of your father.
Curiosity.
“How did you do that?” You asked. He frowned.
“Huhhhh??” He put his hand in a shell near his ear. Oh. He was quite far.
“How–“ You cleaned your throat. Screaming was not something you were used to do. “How did you do that?!”
“Do what?!”
“Reached me so fast?!”
“Oh!” He grinned again – but there was something a bit mischievous about it this time.
You watched, confused, as the boy spun his right arm around many times.
You watched, shocked, when he threw his arm after taking impulse and it stretched.
It stretched and stretched and stretched to a tree standing by your side. He entangled his stretched arm around the trunk; his arm distended as if it was a rubber band and he came flying towards you.
You watched, jaw dropped, when he landed in front of you. His arm untangled from around the trunk and went back to normal with a very sonorous snap.
He grinned proudly.
“Like that!”
It took you a few seconds to recover.
“...You ate a Devil Fruit.”
He nodded.
“The Gomu Gomu no Mi. I became the rubber man!” He pinched his own cheek and it stretched too, before releasing it with, again, a sonorous snap. As if he needed to demonstrate it even more.
That was definitely a surprise.
You didn’t even think someone from this small island, so far from the Grand Line, would even know what a Devil Fruit is – let alone eat one.
You frowned slightly.
“My father says Devil Fruits are for the weak. Someone should be strong based on their inherent body capabilities alone.” That was hammered into your head over and over again
and you noticed with some distaste that you kind of sounded like Landon.
The boy crossed his arms. The smile never left his lips.
“Well, your father’s an idiot!”
Your jaw dropped again.
That scrawny dirty looking boy just called Scarpia Drachen an idiot.
And at that moment – something very very strange and very very unusual happened inside of you, something you couldn’t control, and it was like you could hear Landon’s annoying husky voice echoing in your ears that you should always be in control of your body and your reactions–
But you couldn’t help it.
You laughed.
You covered your mouth and bent over slightly, the other hand gripping the fabric of the shirt over your stomach. I shouldn’t laugh! This is so so so disrespectful! I will be scolded for sure!
But– But Landon wasn’t there. Or your father. Or any of your brothers.
Just the weird stretchy boy.
And he thought that was funny, too. He giggled as if proud of himself.
“By the way, how did you do that?” He asked, crossing his arms. “You ran so fast that the ground cracked! That was faster than Ace! Is that an insect hunter ability or something?”
You didn’t know who the hell Ace was and you didn’t feel like asking. You straightened your back after swallowing the laughter. “Yeah. We
we train to be faster than everybody.”
Why were you talking to him? Why did you answer his question? Why hadn’t you mislead him yet? What was wrong with you? No no no– that was wrong. You needed to get away from him as fast as possible.
But, for some reason, you didn’t move.
The straw hat boy grinned mischievously again and rubbed his hands.
“But I bet you’re not faster than me! I already know your technique, it won’t surprise me anymore!” He started walking on his back at a fast pace while still grinning at you. “C’mon, you’re it!”
But you still didn’t move.
“Do you
 want me to chase you?”
“Duuuuh, that’s how it works, Four Eyes!”
You still didn’t understand.
“Why? Is this some sort of training?”
He finally stopped running.
“How come, why?” Now he looked confused. “Because it’s fun!”
The boy grinned.
It
seemed so easy for him. So obvious. Like you were the stupid one there.
...Fun?
Fun was the opposite of boring.
You weren’t bored searching for animals and cataloging them. You liked to draw, you liked to be left alone. You knew that the right thing to do would be to distance yourself.
But he was jigging from side to side excitedly and that made your heart beat faster for some reason. The same way it was beating faster when you were trying to mislead him. Because of adrenaline, you knew – that was the obvious answer. But maybe
 maybe

It was because it was fun.
You started to walk towards him. He laughed excitedly and turned around.
Then you were running.
Then you were sprinting.
He changed directions either with his legs or gripping tree trunks with his abnormal ability to drastically take turns. You ran after him, unable to use that burst of adrenaline again, but that wasn’t necessary
if you did it, you’d reach him quicker and it would all be over too soon. It wouldn’t be fun.
So you caught him without cheating. But he wasn’t angry or disappointed when you did – he just laughed at the top of his lungs and yelled, my turn!
And then you were being chased.
And then you were laughing.
And then he caught you and it was your turn to yell you’re it!
And then you were breathless and your stomach hurt from laughing but you didn’t want to stop.
Because
 because it was fun.
Tumblr media
“I wanted meat!” He whined unhappily.
You side eyed him while munching your slice of watermelon. Even though he kept complaining, he was eating his anyway – and it was a bit scary how fast he ate and how big his bites were. He was finishing his
second? Third watermelon? You weren’t counting.
When both of you got way too tired – and that took a lot: the sun was starting to set – you decided to rest for a bit and eat something. A clearing nearby had a plantation of watermelons. It was obviously cultivated by someone, but turns out he had no idea who it was or if they would mind if you’d take some. You certainly didn’t mind taking them.
You’d been sitting side by side, facing a cliff with a gorgeous view of the forest and sunset ever since.
“And how would you find meat?” You asked absentmindedly while munching.
“Isn’t it obvious? I’d hunt! There are tons of weird animals here!” He took another big bite and tilted his head at you. “You’re kind of slow, aren’t you, Four Eyes?”
“My name’s not Four Eyes,” you said between gritted teeth. You didn’t even realize you were still wearing the glasses
you took them off and shoved them inside the backpack.
“What’s your name, then?”
You froze.
You hadn’t given him a name. He hadn’t told his either, even though you’d been playing for the past few hours.
But you couldn’t give him your real name. That was a basic rule: no one should see your face. No one should know your name. Every interaction with an outsider had to be calculated and well-thought out for the safety of the family.
The straw hat boy had already seen your face and the family crest.
But
it’s not like he had any idea what the Scarpia family was, right? So giving him a fake name would suffice.
“...Wolfie,” you lied after the first thing that came to mind. You immediately regretted it, realizing how silly it sounded after the made up name left your mouth, but it was too late to correct it now.
He nodded and swallowed a big bite before grinning. His mouth was all dirty with watermelon juice. “My name’s Monkey D. Luffy and I’m gonna be the King of Pirates!”
He didn’t seem to notice how stupid your “name” sounded
great. “...You already said that.” You looked ahead again. The sky had pretty hues of pink and orange as the sun disappeared slowly behind the horizon line. The treetops swayed softly with the wind, resembling sea waves of green. “Why do you wanna be a pirate?”
Why were you asking?
You had no idea. You weren’t supposed to find more about this Luffy boy. You weren’t supposed to be interested. But at the same time – you’d never see him again anyway, so what was wrong with making a question?
Right?
“Is it for the treasures?” It should be, you remarked, given how ragged his clothes were. Well, there was nothing wrong with wanting a fortune.
Luffy’s eyes gleamed with excitement.
“Pirates are the coolest people in the world!” He declared, gesticulating widely and setting the half eaten watermelon aside for the first time. “They go anywhere they want, do whatever they want and take what they want! They are free!” The more he talked, the more excited he looked. “My friend Shanks– he’s a pirate, too, and he goes on all sorts of adventures. He told me about it, all the islands and people and enemies he faced!” Luffy held the brim of his straw hat softly. “I made a promise that I’d become a great pirate like him so we can meet again in the sea someday!”
You hummed quietly.
The watermelon tasted sweet, way too sweet. You took another bite and munched it slowly.
“Freedom, huh?” Your voice was just a little bit louder than the wind. “Must be nice.”
“Right?” Luffy elbowed your arm excitedly. “The world is so much bigger than Mt. Colubo or Foosha Village or the Gray Terminal. There are so many islands out there! So many weird monsters and strong guys to fight!” He tightened his hands in fists and punched an invisible enemy. “That’s why me and Ace train everyday. To get even stronger!”
You side eyed Luffy again. He had an interesting ability, you had to admit, even though you were taught to despise Devil Fruit users. And yeah, he was definitely faster and stronger than the average kid your age. But
he was far from being strong. He was very killable, in fact. If he actually wanted to go to the seas someday, he had a long way to go.
Whatever. It was none of your business.
But even so – his speech about how vast the world is was kind of
touching, in a way. You knew about that, too. You’d been to many places, following your brothers in commissions or being taken to harsh environments to train. But you’d never
paid attention to anything. Everything was just training or business. Everything was boring.
But you thought Dawn Island was boring at first too – until you had the time and freedom to explore it and find all these giant animals and insects. Until you could look closely.
Maybe he had a point.
You swallowed another bite before speaking.
“There is an island I’d like to visit someday, you know.” You started slowly. Hesitantly. Luffy was paying attention, which somehow made you nervous. You weren’t used to that – someone actually listening to you. “I mean
an archipelago on the Grand Line. The islands are full of giant insects.”
“Giant insects?!” Luffy widened his eyes. “Do you think there are giant beetles there too?!”
“From what I’ve read, yeah. Beetles larger than houses. Spiders taller than giraffes. And carnivorous plants, too, big enough to eat a person.”
The straw hat boy giggled excitedly and bounced a bit while still sitting. He seemed unable to not move for a long time, you noticed. “You could fill entire notebooks with your drawings there!” Luffy eyed you up and down with somewhat of a smug expression. “Why haven’t you been there yet, though? You don’t look broke. I bet you have enough money to travel wherever you want.”
Your shoulder dropped a bit. “The Boin Islands are far. Very very far. And
I don’t think my parents would let me.”
Because it’d be useless. A waste of money and time. It wouldn’t make you a better assassin in their opinion
 so what was the point?
Luffy filled his chest and pointed at himself with his thumb proudly. “No problem. I’ll take you there when I become a pirate! My ship will be huuuge with, like, two masts and a big crew. No storms will sink us. We’ll get there and see all the giant bugs!”
For the hundredth time that day, you had the strange, instinctive reaction to giggle. You had the even stranger thought that, yeah, traveling with him would be fun.
The straw hat boy stretched his arms and cleaned his mouth with the back of his hand.
“Hah
the sun’s setting, I should get back before Ace gets worried.” Luffy got up and looked down at you excitedly. “Come with me, Wolfie! The forest’s even more dangerous at night, but our place is safe. We got meat for dinner, too.”
It was a bit insane how he could think of eating more after chomping so many watermelons.
But
his reminder that the sun was setting filled you with sudden sadness.
It took you hours to get to the top of the mountain
it’d take more hours to get down. If you didn’t leave now, Landon would climb it to find you – he always found you somehow – and to see you with this boy would put you in serious trouble.
It would put him in serious trouble, actually. In danger.
So you sighed and got up, too, taking the backpack from the floor and putting it on your back.
“Sorry, I have to go now.”
Luffy quirked one eyebrow. “You sure? Ain’t you gonna get lost? Is someone coming to pick you up?” He put his hands on each side of his waist. “I’m serious, the forest is really dangerous at night! Not even us go around when it’s dark!”
“I’ll be fine.” It was a bit interesting how this boy, much weaker than you, seemed so worried for your safety. That was also unusual.
You stood there awkwardly, not knowing exactly what to do. You also weren’t used to goodbyes.
“Hm
 I’ll
get going then.” You started to walk backwards while gripping the trap of the backpack nervously. “It was
 it was nice meeting you.”
Luffy smiled and nodded. “See ya!”
You hesitated before turning around.
See ya. He probably thought he’d see you again soon. That was funny.
No. That was a bit sad.
Your eyes kept glued to the floor, shoulders dropped, as you made your way down the hill slowly. Maybe you could go back and spend a little more time with him
maybe meet this Ace he kept talking about. You could play a little more. Sketch a few more insects.
No no no. Landon was nearby. He’d kill Luffy on the spot. He had permission to kill anyone he deemed a threat to your safety or your education – and he’d do it without consulting your opinion.
It was better for Luffy to never see you again.
...Your steps slowed even more.
For the first time, you remember Alex Husquid – the man you killed as soon it turned midnight. How you stood there and watched as his eyes emptied. How it made you feel nothing but boredom. Just a commission, after all, like any other.
But why the idea of seeing that same thing happen to Luffy bothered you so much?
This
this weird short boy you met just a few hours ago?
Why did the fact that you’d never see him again made your heart tighten like that?
You suddenly stopped on your tracks.
Wait.
Maybe
maybe you could. Maybe you could see him again.
You turned around, ready to run up the hill again to find Luffy– but turns out he was still standing there, watching you go.
Your heart throbbed loudly. Your hands were sweating. That was wrong wrong wrong. But even so–
“Luffy!” You called. He smiled from far and waved. “Can I
Can I see you again next year?”
Luffy narrowed his eyes and put his hands over his knees. “Huuhhh?!”
Oh– right. You were already too far.
You tightened your hands into fists, feeling a mix of anxiety and embarrassment, before screaming:
“Can I see you again next year?!”
This time, your voice echoed through the woods.
Luffy widened his eyes in surprise. “Next year?! That’s too long!”
You were immediately taken aback. Was he brushing you aside?
“I
I live very far!” That wasn’t a lie. “Can I come or not?!”
Luffy straightened his back.
He grinned again – one of his big, big grins, so big that his eyes closed tight, so large that you felt your own lips curving up, too.
“Of course! I’ll be waiting for you!”
Why were you bouncing a bit? Why did a light weird squeal went past your lips?
“Okay! Let’s meet right here!”
“Okay!”
“Let’s play even more next time!”
“I’ll be even faster than you!” He giggled smugly.
“No, you won’t!” Oh no– you still had to leave. You turned around slowly and waved him a last goodbye. “Bye!”
Luffy waved back excitedly.
Finally, you turned completely and walked down the hill.
Then you were running.
Then you were laughing.
It was probably because of the adrenaline, you knew, but you also knew that it was because you had fun. Because you had something to look forward to – someone to look forward to.
And that was far from being boring.
No rain fell over the Goa Kingdom the day you made your first friend.

Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x Reader
Sanji flirts with every woman he meets, yet with you, there’s nothing. No swooning, no sweet words, not even a blush. It leaves you wondering
why do you seem invisible to him?
Word Count: ~2,200
tag: fluff
my masterlist here ♡
——
The first time you stepped onto the Thousand Sunny, Sanji didn’t faint. He didn’t sprout hearts from his eyes or launch into poetic flattery. He simply
 nodded.
“Welcome aboard,” he said politely, adjusting his tie.
That was it. No roses, no flirty remarks, no swooning. Just a brief greeting.
At first, you didn’t think much of it. You had just joined the crew after all, and you weren’t expecting a grand entrance. But when Nami casually mentioned it later, it stuck with you.
“Wow, he didn’t even drool this time. You might be the first.”
You laughed along, but deep down, it left a small ache in your chest.
It wasn’t like you expected anything. You’d joined as a mapkeeper and assistant navigator, someone quiet and observant. But it was hard not to notice the way Sanji practically worshipped every woman who stepped on board. Robin always had coffee before she even asked. Nami had a seat pulled out for her every meal. You?
You got a plate and a soft “here you go.” No nicknames. No sparkles.
So you told yourself: You’re just not his type.
And it was fine. Or at least, you pretended it was.
——
Zoro saw it first. Sanji, standing outside the galley one morning, tray in hand, just
 staring.
You were down the hall, laughing at something Luffy said. The sun caught your face just right, and Sanji? He froze like an idiot.
“Oi, cook,” Zoro muttered. “You gonna serve that or stand there drooling?”
Sanji flinched and muttered a curse. “Shut up. I’m just—checking the balance of the tray.”
“Uh huh.”
Zoro didn’t buy it. Over the next week, he started noticing the pattern.
Whenever you were around, Sanji got weirdly quiet. When you entered the kitchen, he found a reason to leave. When you complimented the food, he thanked you and turned away, ears pink.
“You’ve got it bad,” Zoro told him one night.
Sanji lit a cigarette and stared at the sea. “She’s not like the others.”
“Because she doesn’t punch you for being a perv?”
“No. Because she actually sees me.”
Zoro rolled his eyes. “You’re such a sap.”
“
Maybe.”
——
You leaned over the kitchen counter one afternoon, watching Sanji stir a pot.
“That smells incredible,” you said, inhaling.
He stiffened. “You
 think so?”
You nodded. “Yeah. I don’t know how you always get the seasoning so perfect.”
His fingers fumbled the spoon. “Years of practice. Tasting. Balancing—uh, it’s not that hard.”
You tilted your head. “You always downplay it around me.”
“What?”
“You’re proud when Nami compliments you. You give Robin full ingredient breakdowns. But when I say something, you get all weird.”
He coughed awkwardly, grabbing the salt. “I—I do not.”
“You do,” you said softly, the joke falling flat as something in your chest twisted. “It’s fine, though. I guess I’m not really
 your type.”
The words slipped out before you could stop them. And for a moment, the kitchen felt too quiet. You busied yourself with brushing crumbs off the counter, trying to act like it didn’t matter.
But it did.
You’d seen the way Sanji looked at every other woman—stars in his eyes, endless flattery, a poetic streak a mile wide. Meanwhile, you got nods. Maybe a smile if you were lucky. No pet names. No swooning. You couldn’t help but wonder if something about you just didn’t measure up.
Too plain. Too quiet. Not glamorous enough.
Maybe he just didn’t see you the way you saw him.
Sanji didn’t say anything for a long beat. Then his voice came, low and strange.
“
You’re not boring. You’re the opposite of boring.”
You looked at him, surprised.
“What’s that mean?”
But he was already moving again, pretending to focus on a tray of bread as his face turned red.
“I’ve got stuff in the oven,” he said quickly, already backing toward the pantry. “Gotta check the spice rack. Or
 something.”
And just like that, he was gone.
You stood in the kitchen alone, staring after him, your heart a tangle of confusion.
You weren’t sure what hurt more—that he kept running from you

Or the possibility that it wasn’t rejection at all.
Just something deeper he didn’t know how to name.
——
“Nami,” you said quietly one night, sitting beneath the stars, “Do you think
 I’m Sanji’s type?”
Nami blinked. “What?”
You shrugged. “He’s never flirted with me. Not once. I figured
I don’t know. Maybe I’m not pretty enough.”
Nami stared at you like you’d lost your mind. “Are you kidding? Sanji blushes so hard when you enter the room, he has to stir soup just to calm down.”
You frowned. “What?”
“He’s obsessed with you.”
You shook your head. “But he doesn’t even talk to me half the time.”
Nami sighed. “Exactly. That’s how you know it’s real. You’ve seen him flirt—he lays it on thick when it’s easy. With you, it’s not.”
“
Why?”
“Because you matter,” Nami said simply. “You’re not a crush. You’re you.”
And suddenly, all the quiet glances, the silence, the fumbling—it made sense.
——
It was raining on the next island. You pulled your hood tighter and jogged ahead, boots splashing through puddles as you helped Nami carry supplies back to the ship.
Sanji was waiting at the docks, umbrella in hand. The second he saw you, something shifted.
Everything slowed.
He watched you running through the rain, hair damp, laughing, cheeks pink from the cold. Your eyes found his—and for a second, he forgot how to breathe.
He held the umbrella out as you ducked beneath it beside him.
“Thanks,” you murmured, catching your breath.
He stared.
“Sanji?”
He blinked. “Y-Yeah. You’re welcome.”
You tilted your head. “You okay?”
“
I’m doomed,” he muttered.
You laughed. “What?”
“Nothing,” he said quickly. “Let’s get inside before you catch cold.”
——
You found him in the kitchen later that night, leaning against the counter, cigarette unlit between his fingers.
“You always stare at me like that when I’m not looking?” you asked.
He jumped. “W-What?!”
You smiled. “Zoro told me. And Nami. And Chopper.”
He groaned. “Traitors.”
“Why don’t you flirt with me?” you asked softly.
He swallowed. “Because I can’t.”
“Why not?”
He looked up, eyes burning. “Because you’re not a fantasy, Y/N. You’re real. You laugh when I’m stupid and smile when I’m quiet and I—” he broke off, voice low, “—I don’t want to screw it up.”
You stepped forward.
“What if I told you it’s okay to be nervous? That I see you, too?”
He stared.
“And what if I said I like the version of you that gets shy more than the one who flirts?”
He dropped the cigarette.
“I’d say
” he whispered, “
that’s the best lie I’ve ever heard.”
You grinned.
“It’s not a lie.”
——
The next morning, he pulled out your chair at breakfast.
“Good morning, my sunshine,” he said dramatically, hand over his heart.
You raised an eyebrow.
“You flirting with me now?”
He smirked, blush rising. “Maybe I’m just making up for lost time.”
Zoro groaned. “He’s back.”
But this time, Sanji didn’t wink at Nami or flirt with Robin.
He just kept stealing glances at you.
And when you caught him, instead of looking away, he smiled.
Because for once, he wasn’t scared.

First Kiss (Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Ace, Law)
Tumblr media
_____ Pairings: (Separate) Luffy x Reader; Sanji x Reader; Zoro x Reader; Ace x Reader; Law x Reader Summary: How he becomes your first kiss. Warnings: Kissing, Fluff, Slight angst in Law's, Alcohol in Zoro's, Female Reader [One Piece Masterlist] _____
- Luffy -
"Hmmmmmm." You feel the heat rush to your face as your raven-haired Captain looks at you intently, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Hmmmmmm." You can't help the laugh that bubbles up at his unusually quiet and contemplative demeanour but that only causes him to come closer, leaving barely any space between your faces. "L-Luffy... what is it?" You watch as he stares deeply into your eyes and there is quiet for a moment. It is like your crewmembers, who are supposedly scattered around the vicinity have disappeared. Your heart beats faster. You have tried to ignore the growing feelings for your Captain, but being this close can only cause your smothered emotions to ignite. "I wanna try something." He says, a determined expression on his face and you tilt your head in question. Just what was he wanting to- Your thoughts are cut short as Luffy moves forward and closes the space between you. It takes you a moment to realise, that his lips are on yours.
He’s kissing you.
Your eyes widen, but Luffy parts from you before you can even react. You are met with his wide grin and you have never seen such delight in his eyes. "Shi shi shi, you taste nice [y/n]." You have to force yourself not to gape in your disbelief. Someone kissed you. Not just someone... Luffy, your Captain, your crush, what- "Luffy! You- you-," Your words are stuttered out in your shock but Luffy simply laughs at your expression before mimicking the tilt of your head earlier. "I thought that's what you do to the person you like?" His words cut you short of your rambling as your surprise increases tenfold. He likes me? Was that a confession? "I- I haven't kissed someone before," you say under your breath but Luffy catches your words and it only causes his smile to widen. "Me neither!" You find yourself leaning forward at the proclamation, and he grins as he does the same.
- Sanji -
You lean back, admiring your creation with a wide grin. Finally. You had been working hard all morning to create Sanji's favourite dish as a thank you for having saved your ass about a week ago. But in your mind, you also just wanted to do something nice. Sanji always doted on the women of the crew and you would be happy to return the favour even if it was just this one time. You would also be lying to say you hadn't gained feelings for the love-lost cook, but you knew how stupid it would be; he didn't seem like someone who had his eyes trained on one woman at a time. You couldn't help it though, and among your feelings, you suddenly felt nervous. You had conjured up a dish for, basically, the best cook in the world; you hoped he would like it... you hoped he would appreciate it. Unbeknownst to you, the cook your mind drifts to has already entered the kitchen, eyes widening in surprise at your presence so early in the day, and more importantly a familiar dish your gaze was trained on.
"Love, what have you made so early in the morning?" Your heart pounds. Love, you adored that nickname, he kept it just for you. "S-Sanji! It's for you, a thank you, I-I hope you like it..." Your words are smothered in nerves but the cook is stunned to silence. You made something for him? Was he dreaming? Was this heaven? He almost starts crying and your eyes widen at his lingering tears before you usher him gently to the dish; of course, what fills the air is compliments on compliments. "The best thing I've ever tasted", "Beautiful", "Thank you", "Would you like to taste-" You don't know where you find the courage but among his ramblings, your gaze wonders to his lips, and before you know it you have stepped forward. "L-love?" When you close the space between you both, only a split second can pass before Sanji basically malfunctions. However, in that short moment, you taste his sweet lips, lingering with the dish you made and the faint tint of a cigarette. You savour the feeling of his trembling hands as they reach for your arms in anticipation. You hold on to his shaky breath as he fights to reciprocate.
When you part, your eyes widen as you realise the breadth of what you have just done. It was your first kiss. You had really kissed him. But your concern is now not on the kiss but on the cook who is basically dead on the floor, murmuring about going to heaven. Yes, you have to shout for Chopper afterwards, but in the aftermath, Sanji does his best to return the favour... well, without dying at your feet again.
- Zoro -
You watch as Zoro downs another bottle of sake and can almost laugh at the expression on his face; it is his fifth and still, he is calling for more. You nurse your own drink in an appropriately sized cup as Zoro turns a sharp eye to you, "What are you smiling about?" You grin teasingly but shake your head, "Nothing, I'm just wondering how far you'll go before you have to stop drinking." Zoro smirks widely at your words and takes another swing of his bottle. "Is that a challenge?" He asks before leaning closer to you, and you have to fight the heat that wants to rush to your cheeks. Even in the dimly lit bar you sat at, he is still so handsome. You watch his defined face and his well-built muscles glow under the low lights and have to fight to keep your eyes on his face. I wonder how it would feel to- "N-nah, we'll be here for decades." You murmur with a roll of your eyes, trying to keep up your nonchalant facade, but Zoro spots your wondering gaze. His grin widens subtly as he invades more of your space and you struggle to keep your proximity as he leans in closer. "See something you like, doll?"
When you look up he is hovering over you and you fail to keep the fluster at bay. You stutter words that take no shape, and in an instant one hand goes to hold your face before he closes the space between you. Immediately, you taste the alcohol that lingers on his lips intrude yours, and you are surprised at how soft and slow and gentle he is. The kiss is short, and when you part you look at the swordsman in stunned silence, but he merely grins before leaning back into his seat once more. "You- You just-," you stutter and despite Zoro’s sharp eye as he looks to you, there is mirth in his irises, "Yeah, what about it?" His words are so blunt you suddenly feel as though the kiss hadn't meant as much to him, even though it was your first, but you are surprised when he quickly catches your dismay. "I don't just kiss anyone, you know." He interrupts the lingering silence and you look up, only to see his face close to yours once more. "You're drunk," you murmur your heart beating faster as he inches closer, "I don't get drunk, doll." You taste the alcohol on his lips again.
- Ace -
You glance at the horizon in awe as shades of red and orange mingle in the blue sky and sunset takes over the long day. To your right, you suddenly feel warmth, as a presence comes to lean on the railings with you to watch the falling sun. You don't even have to turn to know that it is Ace. You smile softly but your eyes are still trained on the illuminance of the sky. "Isn't it beautiful?" You softly utter before finally turning your gaze to the second division commander, but to your surprise, he was looking at you already. "Yeah, beautiful..." His words are murmured and you think you're hallucinating when you see genuine awe in his irises but you have to roll your eyes at his remark. "You really couldn't have picked a cheesier line Ace." You say as you tease his choice of words, but Ace keeps that determined look in his eyes, that shine of pure honesty. "I'm just telling the truth." Your heart hammers erratically in your chest, and you curse the way he so easily influences the rhythm; how he so easily influences you. There is a long comfortable silence, though untold feelings linger beneath it, but when you look up to meet his gaze again, you are surprised to find him closer to you than before.
"Can I kiss you, [y/n]?"
His question is asked so bluntly that you are taken aback. Your eyes widen in surprise, and you watch the way red seeps onto Ace’s cheeks, nerves engulfing him. His irises flicker in subtle desire as he tries to keep your gaze. You think your lungs have ceased to work as you struggle to get the oxygen going. "I- I-" You want to tell him you might be bad at it, that you've never kissed a soul, but you stop yourself from breaking the trance that lingers between the two of you. Your nerves have taken over and so you find yourself nodding. When he closes the distance, you feel utter warmth. His lips are soft as he pulls you impossibly closer and you feel the delight in his movements; you feel the longing. His arms hold you to him and one of his hands caresses your hips soothingly whilst yours tangle themselves in his raven locks. The kiss lasts only a few moments, but you wish it would go on forever; when you part, it is only because the both of you need air. When you open your eyes he is grinning at you so wide, it is like you presented him with the world's greatest treasures, and in some ways that was true; you were all he wanted. He lets you take in a breath, before he leans towards your lips again, warmth lingering and the faint sound of the crew cheering behind you.
- Law -
You sit on the bed, slightly mortified, and terribly embarrassed. You curse yourself for having agreed to participate in the game 'never have I ever,' because of course, you had to be that boring person, never drinking because you had done basically nothing. The last straw was when Shachi tried to do you a solid but embarrassed you further when he asked if you had kissed someone. Of course, seeing as you hadn't, the crew looked in silence as you held your untouched drink sheepishly in your hands, their mouths agape in shock. "What?!" "[y/n] you mean to tell me, you haven't kissed someone before?" The comments lingered on and now you wonder why you didn't lie; no one would've known better. Moments pass before you hear a knocking at your door, and you contemplate pretending you're asleep but you sigh at the repetitive rhythm and decide to answer. To your surprise, it is your Captain, and the man you unfortunately had a significant crush on that was on the other side.
"Law... what's up?"
You try to keep up a nonchalant facade like you haven't just been tearing apart your mind because of the events of the evening. Law returns your half-hearted smile with a blank look on his face as he sighs deeply. "Don't give me that [y/n]-ya, what happened back there?" His question leaves you wanting to melt to the floor as you remember back to how you hastily tried to leave the room with your abundance of excuses. "I don't know what you're-" But his words interrupt yours, more gently than you would've expected. "Is this about Shachi's question, you know it's just a stupid game? It's normal not to have kissed someone yet." You internally cringe as you hear your Captain's words but now your eyes are trained on the floor as you sigh, almost withering under the weight of his attempted comfort. "I didn't think it was just a big deal. I- I guess I was just saving it, you know?" You watch as Law's usually darkened eyes ignite before he spares you a knowing smile. "I know." His eyes travel from your eyes to your lips and you are surprised to see the faint blush that reaches his face. "You know, [y/n]-ya, I didn't drink either." You pause as you look up, eyes widening in surprise and disbelief. "Wh- Law what are you-" But he interrupts your rambling as he closes the space between you, now mere inches before your face.
"Can I kiss you [y/n]-ya?"
You take in a shuddering breath. What's happening? Are you dreaming? Is this really happening? You can't find the words and so you slowly nod, and Law wastes no time connecting his lips to yours. His lips are soft and gentle, his movements almost tempting the new sensation shared between the both of you, but a mere moment passes before you find the rhythm and he intensifies the kiss. His hands reach for your waist and your hands reach for his hair. There is a long moment shared between you before you finally reach for a breath. He looks up to you with a gentle smirk that has your heart beating faster, and you take the courage to close the space between you once more. Nevertheless, when Law tells you to rejoin the group, you are both able to drink to Shachi's question and stare amusedly at the crew who look between you and Law with shock.

No way! Luffy has a Wife?!
Monkey D. Luffy x Wife!Reader
Summary: an amalgamation of many requests on others finding out Luffy is married.
A/n: Thanks @matronofthevoid for the prompt of Boa Hancock and to the other anonymous DM’s requesting others
Part VII
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After a few weeks of Monkey Y/n’s Wanted posters circulating, the world government has issued a retraction after being unable to locate the marriage certificate of Luffy and Y/n.
The marines have since issued new Wanted posters, removing the family name ‘Monkey’ followed by the following description.
‘Y/n, Wanted Dead or Alive for 200 million berries after assaulting a marine officer for insulting childhood friend Monkey D. Luffy. The bounty has been increased as Y/n is confirmed to be an official member of the strawhat pirates after eye-witness testify Y/n claiming allegiance to the strawhat captain in wholecake Island. The World Government would also like to retract any claims or statements of the marriage between the pair due to lack of evidence to support claim.’
Whilst it true the new posters and description have been issued- not everyone has received the new news.
Shanks - Receiving the original poster
“Hey captain! Check this out!” Yassop howls in laughter with Lucky Roux, throwing a newly issued bounty down into their captains lap.
Wanted Dead or Alive. Monkey. Y/n. 100m berries.
Shanks eyes widen slightly at the name.
“Luffy’s a grown man now, wife and all
” Shanks mutters, his eyes shining with pride before quickly faltering to horror. “That little twerp got married and didn’t even invite me?! Can you believe that?!”
Silvers Rayleigh - Receiving the original poster
Shakuyaku smirks down at the news paper below her, taking a good long drag from the cigarette sitting loosely between her fingers.
“What’s got you smiling like that?” Rayleigh steals a glance at the papers. “Well would you look at that
the boys not completely hopeless after all.”
Boa Hancock - Receives the new posters
As all of the Kuja warriors suspected. Their beautiful loving Empress has been bedridden for weeks.
The wanted poster

The description of Luffy’s marital status

It was all far too much for the tender hearted empress.
But as soon as Gloriosa received the newest issue, she figuratively bolted to the empresses bed chamber. “I’ve come bearing great news!” Gloriosa announces, pulling the blanket off of the rotting figure that is Boa Hancock.
He matted hair remains tangled, her swollen eyes pinching together tighter at the exposure of light. “Leave at once you old hag! Leave me to my suffering!” Hancock wails, pulling weakly at the bedcovers.
“He isn’t married!” Gloriosa announces as Hancock sits up rapidly. “Luffy! He isn’t married- it was just a false report! They’re only childhood friends!” The angelic expression that follow was so blindingly beautiful, Gloriosa’s memory lapsed at the beauty that is her Empress.
“Luffy my love! I knew it! You shall be mine! No woman is qualified for his affections!” Hancock swoons.
Monkey D. Garp - Receives the new poster
“See Koby?! I knew it wasn’t true!” Helmeppo scrutinises the posters hung up on the wall.
‘Y/n Wanted Dead or Alive’
Koby shrugs indifferently. Whilst it might be true Luffy and Y/n aren’t married, is it really so crazy to believe Luffy has romantic interests? Well according to Helmeppo, such a statement is ridiculous.
“What are you two bickering about now?” Garp grumbles, shoving his hand into the bucket of popcorn and into his mouth by the fist fulls.
“Sir- you would know more than that Luffy couldn’t possibly be married.” Helmeppo guestures to Y/n’s new poster.
There was a moment of silence before Garp dropped his bucket of popcorn to the floor, snatching the poster as his eyes widen in horror. “Huh?! So that little brat went and became a pirate after all?! Does anyone listen to me?! First Ace, then my idiot grandson and now my angel?!” Storming to his desk, Garp continues to mutter to himself under his breath, riffling through the papers until he is able to extract a report pertaining to your bounty from the pile.
You were Garp’s one saving grace.
The one and only rambunctious child that didn’t go over to the dark side, but based off the report- it’s still his idiot grandsons fault.
If he didn’t become a pirate then you wouldn’t have gained a wanted poster defending his honour like the noble angel you are.
“Sir - you would know more than anyone. Is Luffy and Y/n married or not?” Koby asks, only for Garps eyes to remain dark and downcast in angst.
“Unofficially.” He mutters only for Helmeppo to cringe at the confirmation.
“So it’s true then?! Strawhat really does have a wife?!” Helmeppo shouts in horror, needing desperately for Garp to tell him the honest truth.
“Huh?” Garp picks his nose mindlessly as he thinks back. “That idiot has been claiming they’ve been married for years
guess he just finally wore her down.”
Bartolomeo - Receives the new poster
“And Y/n defended Sir Luffy by knocking that filthy marine out in one hard punch!” Bartolomeo praises, dabbing a moist tissue to his eyes. “It’s just so beautiful! Sir Luffy deserves nothing less than a devoted wife to defend his honour.” Bartolomeo throws himself onto the floor as he continues to sob hysterically. “And - to think- they’re childhood friends! Truely a romantic story for the ages!”
The crew begin to cry in unison. “How can people deny their marriage?!” Some sobbing crewman questions, blowing his nose into his own shirt.
“They don’t need no stink’in piece of paper! We will help sir Luffy by spreading their grand love story far and wide for all to hear!”
Y/n - Receives the new poster
“Hey have you guys seen Y/n?” Luffy questions, scratching his head absentmindedly.
Zoro points lazily towards the head of the Thousand Sunny where you appear to be sitting glumly. You begin to make the face you always do when you are sad.
“I’m sorry Luffy- I didn’t mean to upset her.” Chopper mutters sadly. But Zoro only drops his heavy hand on Choppers head. “Y/n’s bounty went up, I went to show her, but then she got really upset.“ Chopper holds up the newly issued Wanted poster of Y/n.
“Hey it’s not your fault, all you did was show her the new poster.” Zoro reassures but Choppers shoulders sink further.
Luffy snatches Nami’s pen from her hand and begins to scribble on the Wanted poster.
“Luffy! What the hell-“ Luffy tosses the pen back on the table and stalks back off towards his gloomy wife.
“Oi! Have you seen your new wanted poster? Looks like your bounty went up since you’re officially in my crew now.” Luffy announces ecstatically, shoving the wrinkly paper into your hands.
You begin to slouch into yourself. You knew it was silly but it was heart wrenching to finally have a family name only of it to be taken at a moments notice. ‘Monkey’ was not a last name you even earnt. But even so, it was nice to feeling like you belonged somewhere.
“Yeah, what about it?“ Your voice shrivels up on the spot.
Looking down at the wanted poster you see your name haphazardly scribbled ‘Monkey Y/n’
Tears threatened to well-up. Without you even admitting out loud - Luffy somehow knew exactly what upset you and how to fix it. “You’re so dumb sometimes ya’know?” Luffy states rhetorically, which only makes you begin to boom with laughter. “How many more times do I have to remind you? You’re my wife. You don’t need some piece of paper to give you a last name. Because I already gave you my last name.” You begin to grin at your sweet loveable doofus. “But if you need a piece of paper, then take that. I wrote it myself and everything- Kay?” He asks only for you to spring on top of Luffy, pulling him into a lethal tight hug.

YOU KISS THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME 💋
Tumblr media
summary : you have been taking it slow for some time now, how would they react when you kiss them for the first time?
ft' : Roronoa Zoro , Monkey D Luffy , Vinsmoke Sanji
op masterlist : đ™šđŸ§žàŸ€àœČ || ⋆·˚ àŒ˜ ASKS ARE OPEN
Tumblr media
àł€.ᐟ⭒àč‹àŁ ⭑ Luffy
You found Luffy perched on the figurehead, legs swinging lazily as he munched on a piece of meat sanji gave him. He grinned as he sees you approaching, patting the spot next to him.
“Hey! Come look at this! The sunset looks like a giant piece of roast meat!”
You chuckled at him, sitting beside him as your eyes followed where he was pointing at . His simplicity and joy was infectious, and before you could stop yourself, you leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
Luffy froze, mid-chew, his wide eyes locking onto yours. He touched his cheek, as if confirming it happened, then turned back to you with a grin so big you were sure it rivaled the sun.
“Whoa! That felt awesome!” he exclaimed, loudly laughing. “do it again!” "do it again!"
You laughed at his reaction, your heart always feels lighter when youre with him
Tumblr media
àł€.ᐟ⭒àč‹àŁ ⭑ Zoro
Zoro was at his usual spot in the crow’s nest, polishing his swords . You climbed up, surprising him with your presence.
“What do you want?” he asked, his tone gruff but not unkind.
You shrugged being used to his tone, pretending not to care as you sat beside him. “what is checking on you illegal now? besides i thought id keep u company , you’re always up here alone anyways.”
He didn’t respond, but you could tell he didnt mind the company. After a while, you leaned closer, planting a quick kiss on his lips.
His reaction was immediate , his eyes widened, and the sword he was holding clattered to the floor. he froze in place while his facs slowly turned into a flushed shade of pink. He turned his head as he muttered, “What the hell was that for?”
You smirked, “Just felt like it.”
Zoro grumbled something under his breath. you didnt hear what he said , but you swore you heard him say he wanted more.
Tumblr media
àł€.ᐟ⭒àč‹àŁ ⭑ Sanji
Sanji was in the kitchen, humming a tune as he was preparing dinner. The smell of his cooking filled the air, and you couldn’t resist stepping in to see what he was working on.
“Ah, my love! Come to taste-test my masterpiece?” he asked, turning to you with a soft smile that was reserved just for you
You smiled back, walking closer to him, but instead of answering, you kissed him gently on the lips.
Sanji froze, his cigarette dropping from his lips as his face turned as red as the tomatoes he’d been slicing. He stumbled back, clutching his chest as dramatically as possible
“(Y/N)-cwhaaan! That was-oh, my heart i cant take it! My life is complete!” he cried, falling to the floor in a dramatic act, shutting his closed eyes in blissful victory
You couldn’t help but laugh at him, shaking your head at his over-the-top reaction. But again that was sanji for you. you knew he’d treasure the moment forever.
