(i was trying to find a way to represent balloon's name and i came upon a lucky medium: given how he was a jerk in ii1 and nickel continued to see him as such, i imagine he'd just call him "bully" from then on, even after they became friends -- and it sounds like the word "balloon", no?)

#dandy's doodles #inanimate insanity #ii #ii baseball #ii suitcase #ii nickel #ii balloon #ii gjinka #ii humie #ii humanized #i love you casey sue <333 she's so cute #i gave her limb difference by the way. hope i depicted it well #there was this contestant on the great british baking show (bryony's her name i think?). really sweet. reminded me of suitcase #and she has a limb difference. so that subconsciously inspired that part of my suitcase design #i would just call nickel 'nick' but there was this kid in my jewish pre-k named nicky and i want to emphasize to myself that he's jewish #a jewish prick at that!!!! ...nothing against that kid though. the only thru-line is that he's jewish lol #nicky (nickel) is a jewish-middle-school-rich-kid to inferiority-superiority-complex-incel pipeline #<- 'incel' used loosely. mostly because it's funny #i kind of want to investigate how the rich kids from my jewish middle school have changed from then to now. they're fascinating creatures #i wonder if they all still have their stupid stupid perms #and for ben i was thinking about charlie brown #baseball (obvious) + often down about stuff + the 'leader' of the group but not very good at it #oh yeah also you don't see it in his design (cuz he's modest!) but ben has top surgery scars that look a little like the baseball stitches #and then allen... idk the long-sleeves under short-sleeves just works. with the sweatpants #i want him to appear kind of uncomfortable. weirdly warm and clammy #i like to think of him rolling up his sleeves as ii1 balloon to beat someone up lololol...#i need to rewatch ii1 to get the deets on how balloon was. but then i want to rewatch the whole show anyway

Those aus where the characters never meet but it’s hannigram and they just don’t have a reason to. Not that that would stop them but maybe Will was recommended a different psychiatrist or left the field entirely, dropped off the face of the earth. He would be the talk of psychiatric circles but Hannibal would never have a reason or opportunity to seek him out. Hear his name in passing and move on, never see his face and fall in love. And maybe they walk by each other but by the time they look back it’s too late. A brushing of shoulders Hannibal would find rude and that Will would go out of his way to avoid but didn’t. A scent that Hannibal inhales and can’t let go of (he wants to, it bothers him) but can’t trace its source because Will already walked away. But he had gone still. Just for a moment, uncertain of why…

They never do get an answer. Not this time. Perhaps they’ll both feel something missing, distantly and locked away.

It’s like outside forces divine intervention are keeping them apart.

#i hate these kinds of ideas because i refuse to believe a ship did not find each other in every universe but it doesn’t stop one from #thinking otherwise #this is only a loose thought #courtesy of a different idea of them meeting years earlier seeing each other entirely but Will makes the decision that they are better off #without (they’re not. they’re ruined without each other). and somewhere along those years apart Will forgets. it’s difficult but easier #and he isn’t any happier and doesn’t realise what- who he is missing until they see each other again #the silly part: Hannibal was caught but it’s because of an agent’s dumb luck and having backup. so it’s in a bit of sotl fashion #he is unaware of who is meeting with him and Will either is too occupied in his mind to really catch the name of the man or only goes #in with what information he already has on the previous case he refused (subconsciously turning a blind eye to) so they’re surprised #and Will remembers. and somewhere along the line he decides (probably from the start) Hannibal is on the wrong side of the glass #dumping a bit of that here for no reason i suppose #hannibal #nbc hannibal #will graham #hannibal lecter #hannigram #text post #my stuff

Woke up from my little power outage nap and couldn’t even manage to eat a full box of macked cheese, grad school will fuck you up for life kids, do it at your own risk.

#my stuff #i don’t like to admit it but i’ve developed a complicated relationship with food #i’m a rational person i know food is important and i feel hunger and when i do i want to eat #but due to the hassle of meal prep and my tight finances i basically only eat one meal a day at the end and use coffee to power through #often until like 6pm #which i know is not good in a general or transition sense #and when i was first starting to fall into this pattern i would eat A TON at night to make up for it #but sometime during my grief in march n april i developed #a psychological difficulty with finishing food. like executive dysfunction and insecurity hoarding combined #and also i sometimes get nauseous midway through eating #or rapidly feel full after being doubled over from hunger cramps and then hungry again an hour later #and above all else it’s annoying bc its subconscious or physiological and it makes it hard to overcome #and even if i was provided 3 meals a day i’d probably struggle to stomach eating that freq in any significant amount #i feel like when my stomach is empty it tries to quasi hibernate until last minute and then goes ravenous #much like me emotionally but that’s a different tag rant #anyways another complication is ‘sleep for dinner’ right when i get home which fucks up my eating AND sleep schedule #all this bullshit when i’m a scientist who has taken metabolism classes and knows my body is getting wrecked from this #so i’m guilty as fuck abt it🙂‍↕️

People be out here saying "don't get the free plastic bags from the store, just buy reusable ones!" as though my parents haven't been using the same 10 free plastic bags for the past seven years.

Most things are reusable if you have enough determination.

I think Luke would be terrified of the ocean. Like he grew up in the desert, never seen the ocean, yada yada, but also the ocean is a terrifying concept even to people who're familiar with it, with increasingly fucked up creatures the deeper you go and its currents sudden and deadly, now show it to someone who never even imagined such a vast pool of water?? He'd be like it's like a cave but it's very very deep and also you can't breathe in there and there's pressure and weird fish and- at least in the dune sea we had the twin suns!! This is like quicksand but there's no sun! People swim in this??!

One thing about me is that I love foreshadowing so very much and if i don’t set up at least 2-3 things in every chapter to pay off later then I explode

#there’s a mention of a oddity in the treasury books in chapter 3 that secretly set something up for chapter 4. for example #I know it’s not nearly at the level of ms kui but I do try and strive for dunmeshi levels of consistency and payoff in my stuff #there’s things I’ve already set up that won’t payoff until the climax and that makes me so happy it’s fun #it helps me find energy to write its like :3 my little treat that I’ve left for myself :3 #idk how obvious it is to anyone but me I do often struggle not to make stuff Too Obscure but #I like to think that at least subconsciously it helps make things feel like a consistent world #nrbts #< not exclusively but that’s what I’m thinking about rn #I’m posting this to help keep myself from actually wanting to blab secrets see this is why I have trouble DMing #I just want to talk about stuff!! all the time!

#my zach & mobo agenda strikes again #super dark times #zach taylor #daryl harper #charlie and josh are there briefly but. this is largely abt The Dream #sam edits #tw blood #tw stabbing #or well. pulling the blade out after a stabbing #also to ramble a sec bc i think using the ‘third wish has always been three more’ bit with the flashbacks may be confusing #using ‘a third wish to wish for three more’ feels like a plea for more chances to change things—smthn about #regretting the choices you made and wanting the opportunity to make better choices or #fix the previous ones. like… it feels like a line about hindsight/regret/wasted opportunity & chances #which to then apply that to Zach here—that is certainly the sort of stuff plauging his #subconscious in relation to how he handled the Daryl situation. even though awake!Zach is #obviously struggling to deal with The Guilt/the role he played in things (see: my post about #’blood on hands’ from the other night) his dream here literally SHOWS that this situation #with Daryl is crushing him (see: Daryl sitting on top of him) and a part of him KNOWS that #he is partially at fault (see: the copious blood all over him but the FOCUS on it on his hands)#+ the idea im getting at is: he not only wishes things could’ve gone differently but that HE could’ve DONE things differently
