44. do you collect anything?

Cofffiiiiiii, why did you open up this can of worms!? What don't I collect!? Lemme talk about a few here since I think showing all of them is a bit much haha. I'll show some of the ones I'm quite proud of(and maybe list some of the others)

Danmei shelf(beloved)

My most prized collection, I have put so much work(and money, oh god) into this. LOOK HOW PRETTY!? I accidentally dropped the ball at some point on collecting the books, so I am rectifying that lately. It's so funny, at one point I think the shelf was just zines bcs the books hadn't actually come out yet

2. Pins and patches for my jacket

My other prized collection. I love wearing the jacket sm bcs everyone always compliments me on the pins haha. When I went to Ireland, I was like "wouldn't it be cool to get pins from everywhere I go and decorate a jacket?" and thus it began. Now people always buy me random pins when they see them so I can add to it. When it gets colder out, I'll actually try and put all those new ones on, though I am a bit afraid to accidentally lose some again. Also I think I talked abt this before but. I'm still so grateful to my one friend, cause I forgot to buy a pin when we went to Munich, but he was going there again, so he bought me one!!!

3. Mucha doorway

My mom said this makes her feel overstimulated. I say it makes my room feel glorious. The doorway is like the only place in my room where things actually stick well, so it is prime realestate. I bought all these in Prague, so I'm glad I could actually put them somewhere :D there used to be commie propaganda there....

4. My corkboard of misc stuff

I love buying keychains and I used to lug them around with me when I was younger, but I lost and broke a few, so I put them up here instead. There's also some notes/packaging that came with merch I've bought cause I think they're cute. I also have a little book of business cards from whe I buy merch cause I love them.

5. Tiny vettonso collection

ONE DAY I SWEAR I'LL MAKE MY OWN MERCH AND GROW THE COLLECTION TENFOLD I SWEAR I SWEAR! I've often had little ship shrines like this, but I keep these ones on me on my car keys haha. My beloveds <3

I had this dream last night that I was teaching my little cousin not to play around with “antisemitic swimming pools” and I was telling her that the danger was that one day you would dive in and the pool that pretended to be there for you actually didn’t care and you’d fall off the edge and break your neck.

I think there’s a metaphor there but I have no idea what it is.

#I may be messing up some details because I’m very tired and I just want to sleep #also the pool was an infinity pool high up in some cool looking house and that’s why you can fall off the edge #it had a few concrete beams over the surface of the water but I don’t know what they did #and there was no shelf or anything to stop anyone who dove a bit too far or the wrong way #dreams #what does this mean #?#antisemetic swimming pool?

I have sunday off and I keep forgetting I have to do tomorrow first

#it's supposed to be kind of rainy #and I read you're not really supposed to paint while its rainy #but I painted that shelf today and it dried fast and easy just fine #and that was on a shiny and slick surface #I promise once this is over you wont have to hear about me painting for a very long while #this is the only room I really want to put that much effort into since this IS a rental #it's just #so white #and the walls have some grease stains and stuff that no amount of dishsoap bleach or magic eraser can help #my friend said I'm neurotic and no one else would ever notice them but me #but #I see them #oh do I see them

I try to be open-minded with reading as in all things, never disdain a genre, give it a try, but I am nonetheless somewhat begrudged to admit that I don't mind the cosy crime book I'm currently reading

#it's the thursday murder club #found it on a hostel shelf #I've given a few crime novels a try and usually they just don't do it for me #and this one doesn't really do it for me in the sense that I don't especially care about the crime #but the characters are very fun to travel along with #I guess that's probably the point of cosy crime?#you spend time with the characters and then there's like some death and portrayals of the police that are critical only at surface level #and there's some other stuff thrown in #anyway apparently pierce brosnan has been cast as roy in the movie version?#baffling decision to me #I cannot see pierce brosnan playing a working class union rabble-rouser #will I have to see the movie if it eventuates and find out for sure?#probably.....#I suppose you're probably meant to be trying to solve the crime #but the only book that ever actually got me invested in that was Orhan Pamuk's My Name is Red #AND I got it right #so it's a nice read that feels low stakes even though it possibly isn't #I don't think richard osman needs any help with recs though

dom daddy artem is so mid in a funny way because it requires you to actively ignore all the times themis/his cards have made it clear that he would not act like that in favor of two mid cards that feel like the writers going “here damn since you won’t stop asking”instead of “guys look he always had this side to him^^”

was thinking of getting a room divider because I don’t like using filters/digital backgrounds for calls (don’t trust like that) and with how I’ve rearranged my bookshelf dresser my future framed print of my ocs is in danger of being visible but I think that’s just an excuse to buy more things and I gotta Stop It. also I can just move the frame somewhere else. I have to keep the config like this tho because it’s a great place to put my lamp

#my ramblings #I’ve also moved the shitty small table I got from target in 2018 between bed & desk #which frees up space for chaise #and also it has usb charging so I don’t have to stretch the cord from forever away #I need a wall mountrd surge protevtor tho #getting thay toniht #then I have to reorganid my desk surface & second shelf to be less messy #maybe in a year I’ll upgrade from wire bedframe from amazon to smth legit #but it depends on measurements… will the chaise still fit w a legit bedframe…

Why are K/L shippers like this?

Is Shiro honestly so intimidating to them that they have to bash him (and obviously Allura, as well. Can't bash Shiro without the obligatory tandem Allura bashing)?
