Idk about dynamics or anything, but i remember he apparently used to have shadow papyri working for him. So he could for various papyrus aus. He could also recruit or take people from underfell, swapfell, maybe he recruits outside of Sanses & papyri like an Underfell King Asgore.

3.) Small doodle* Money being a little shit n getting caught stealing Mutts (sf!red paps) cash, I hc Money being very skilled at pickpocketing and being able to get into almost anyone’s pockets without noticing, until recent moments..

4.) Small doodle*anotha one. No im just playin lol but just two swapfell Sans’ minding their business not much to say on this page considering it’s so empty! I do wanna say I used a ref for Maroons jacket cause I couldn’t for the life of me remember how exactly leather looked on paper, references are truly a blessing.

5+6.) Finally! A warm up doodle of Sans that turned into a skelesona spread🌚. In truth I always told myself I would never make one of these because of cringe, but let’s be honest this is a self insert tumblr how much lower can I get😂. All jokes aside I made this in inspiration to @absurdmageart ‘s fic Making a Monster bc that fic is SO GOOD!!!! Probably some of my favorite interpretations of some of the skeletons! Especially the swapfells, I feel like they never get enough love 💔. Anyways,, I decided to keep her with a human soul even though she’s technically a skelesona, I kinda wanted to pay homage to the fic (even though I can’t really remember if Lisa had a human soul or not it’s besides the point). She was obviously very shook when the transformation first took hold, but after a few days you can see she’s adjusting fine(especially when she finds out limbs are detachable and pain free~)(1.First day, Skelesona lmao, “oh god”, “Y’all look what I can do lol”, “Y-you guys?!”) (a lot of the stuff on this spread is just rambles and such so most can go ignored)

Swap Papyrus!! Stretch

He's a skeleton who likes dates to be indoors but unlike Cash he likes walking around and going on fun outings. He's often outside with his brother or watching over everyone anyway so he's developed a love for things like picnics, walking at night, stargazing and the like.

His fear of the world resetting again often causes him to close himself off. I mean, for him it doesn't matter, right? Cause it's just going to start back at square one. But that day never comes. He knows that it won't happen again but it's still a huge worry for him. So I think it'd be hard to get on his trusting side first, no matter how much he likes you in a romantic light.

When he starts to warm and loosen up around you I think he'd be a really sweet date mate. He likes to lean on you a lot, not in a mean 'poking fun at your height' way more like a 'he's tired and likes the warmth' kinda vibe/beat.

He does small things that don't really seem like a big deal but are caring and endearing like blowing smoke the other way (unlike Cash), offering you food and drinks (even though he mostly consumes honey), and just small miscellaneous stuff kinda like sharing blankets and lending you clothes.

Stretch most definitely, enjoys seeing you in his colors. Or even shirts for that matter. It's like you're carrying a part of him everywhere that way! He'd also be a bit corny with his puns and get a little embarrassing but he continues to make them because you laugh at them. Also because his brother groans dramatically and he thinks it's funny.

Loves taking naps with you. Also lazy dances in the kitchen at night make him smile very wide. He's not immune to flattery as well though so I think Stretch would also get kind of flustered at small intimate acts. Definitely tries to play it cool and fails.

Tells you stories about his underground in exchange you tell him stories back. Enjoys the cultural exchange and likes hearing about your experiences too. He often ends up staring at you very clearly not listening when this happens and you just tend to playfully roll your eyes.

Cash!! Swapfell Papyrus!

Pretty lazy skeleton who likes low effort activities, greedy and lazy. So like, dates and stuff would be typically in doors where he doesn't have to do much. I.E. movies dates, dinners and typical gaming sessions that turn into hang outs. Stuff like that.

Cash most definitely has commitment issues. He's not used to a constant relationship with him and his brother disagreeing so often and his relationships with other people tend to be either flings or people he's robbed.

With that being said, he would like to hang out often once he realizes you're not going to up and leave him so quickly and I think he'd get pretty clingy. Likes to have an arm around you and enjoys physical touch. Cash would probably like to be lazy with you and annoy people with you around. You have interesting perspectives and reactions to things so he'd like to mess around and get kinda mean with his pranks, whether that is towards you or other people just depends on the day.

Side note but because he's a greedy skeleton in general I don't imagine he'd let you wander off far from him too much. Cash values your time a lot and can get petty when you start to get busy without clueing him in too. He likes to be a part of what you do.

Definitely the kind of guy to fuck with you by doing small annoying shit like blowing smoke your way and getting overly possessive over you and what you're doing. Again, his greed gets the best of him very often. Oh also definitely the type of guy to put shit higher on the shelves so you need his help. (<-- this backfires when his brother gets onto him about it)

Swapfell Papyrus! Mutt/Rus

The feeling of his house suffocates him a lot so I think he'd like to be more out and about. So dates would typically be at events like aquariums, carnivals, walks, lantern festivals/Diwali and things of the like. He doesn't have to do too much but he also gets to enjoy new sights and get out of the house.

Mutt! He's a very quiet and stand off -ish skeleton. So I think even beginning a relationship or friendship with him is going to be a challenge within itself. He doesn't typically reply back in conversations and is very curt and straight faced.

I think the beginning of your relationship would start with either his brother taking a liking to you or you making it your goal to at least get him to crack a smile.

Because his brother is very.. well, demanding and strict he doesn't like being caught slacking. So when he quietly laughs at something you said he immediately cringes and tightens up, judging by your open mouthed and wide eyed expression he assumes you notice and quickly retreats to his room.

I think he starts to learn to relax a little around you. Lots of leaning on you for support and pulling you into his lap, while he mumbles incoherently about his day or people around him into your shoulder. The romantic feelings start very late, he's a sucker for casual intimacy so he doesn't really pay attention to the implications of being so close and around you 24/7. He just enjoys the soft comfort of your presence a lot.

Once that feeling of yearning sets in, it takes a while for him to confess to you. Out of fear of losing the few soft people he has around him. But you guys eventually start dating! Which includes a lot of small domestic acts like sewing up his jacket, cooking for each other and just generally being close with one another. Totally softie.

Especially likes to lay down in your lap and just.. lay there as you idly run a soft and gentle hand down his skull, soothing his troubles. Much like the trend of taking naps with your partner I think he especially likes to wrap his legs and arms around you, caging you in to nap.

Much like how he is with his brother, gets over protective as well with you. Includes a lot of glaring and holding you closer. Sometimes he even growls lowly, which, you didn't even know how could do.

Fell boys: Red: With Red, getting into the relationship is half the battle. Our boy has self-esteem so low that it’s on the floor. He lets his actions speak for him. Don’t expect any grand gestures like romantic dates or over the top displays of affection. He does small things to show he cares, like making sure your car is always taken care of or that your keys are right where you need them to be. If something breaks around the house, he’ll fix it before you even notice something was wrong. He’ll be the first to your side the moment you say ‘I need your help’ but if you thank him too much, he might just shortcut out of the conversation, unable to handle the praise (even though he secretly likes it).

Edge: No one romances better than the Great and Terrible Edge. He’ll cook you a five-course meal. He’ll have all of your favorites. Naturally. He’ll send you flowers to work and write lengthy cards to give to you. Underneath it all, he’s afraid that he’s not doing enough to show you he loves you. You may need to reassure him that his best is good enough and that sometimes, he doesn’t need to go over the top. You want to romance him too!

Swapfell:

Black: Black is slower to love than most, but when he does realize he has feelings, he tries to deny it. But wear him down enough and he’ll ask you out. Black is the man with a plan. Each date has an itinerary. He wants everything to go perfectly. When it doesn’t, he gets extremely frustrated because you’re the ‘best’ and you deserve the best. He’ll easily forget his frustration upon implementing kisses. It’s like a hard reboot for your boy. Even after you’ve dated for a while. He just doesn’t expect PDA. So shower him with lots of love. Like a sponge, he’ll soak it all up.

Mutt: He knows what he wants, and he’ll pursue you. Good luck turning him down when he’s turning up the charm to an eleven! Even when you do agree to date him, he’s constantly trying to make you blush. Flustering you really brings him joy. Think embarrassing pet names. Sending singing telegrams to your work. Over the top and garish romantic cards that won’t stop singing after you open them. But he does love you. He’s a sweet and loyal partner when he isn’t teasing the ever-loving daylights out of you. He remembers the small things, like a book you said you liked or your favorite dish or a place you always wanted to go. He makes you feel special to make up for all his infuriating ‘pranks’.

Swapfell (Gold):

Wine: Of course you would date him. He’s a rather magnificent specimen. Truly. No one could compare. He’ll take you out on the most expensive dates and shower you in equally expensive gifts. It’s a flex on his part. He enjoys the finer things in life, including you, so naturally, he would spoil you. Just know that wherever the two of you go, Coffee is also there. If you don’t get along with Coffee, your relationship is doomed to die.

Coffee: It isn’t so much as him romancing you as you romancing him. You need to be the one to pursue him. You need to be the one to instigate dates. You need to be the one putting in the effort. This boy is so shy he would probably spontaneously combust if you asked him to make the first move. That being said, he does love you. So very much. He’s always down to cuddle or listen about your day. The boy is absolutely smitten. However, you will need to be the provider and bread winner of the family. And you also need to be able to keep up with his demand for art supplies. You are – after all – the reason for the use of most of the supplies as you are his favorite muse. Break his heart and no one will be able to find your body after Wine is done with you.

I'd love to read any of your HC posts about the older brothers having a trying time when their younger brothers go through the rebellious teenage stage.

Undertale/Horrortale Sans & Papyrus - Papyrus was complicated to deal with. As he grew up, Sans struggled to stay updated about his personality changes. One day he's all bubbly and overconfident, the next day he's goth and doesn't want anyone to talk to him anymore. He's a bit confused about what's going on. Added to that, Papyrus' ways to dig into people's stuff that everyone found cute when he was little turns out to not be so cute anymore so he struggles a lot with loneliness and his inability to make friends. He comes home late, or he doesn't even come home at all, which worries Sans a lot. It became worse when Papyrus started talking about his yellow flower friend that Sans had never seen, so Sans got a little more worried for his brother. But the fact he could talk to at least someone -imaginary or not- is a relief, because that was never Sans' best skill.

Underswap Sans & Papyrus - Honey never really had a rebel stage. Around his teenage years, he shut down and told nothing to his brother anymore. Blue felt guilty, because, with his dreams to enter the Royal Guard, he kinda pushed away his brother a little bit because Honey was too needy and holding him back. Blue tried to talk to him, but never got more than a growl or a nod as all answer. It became worrying when he found more and more cigarettes and bottles of alcohol around the house, and Honey immediately became defensive when he tried to talk about this, saying he didn't need help. The brothers were not really close during that time. Honey got self-aware of this after a few months and tried to get closer to Blue again, but Blue was in training for the Royal Guard and clearly didn't have time for him. So instead of talking to someone, Honey fell into depression and just kinda let the world move on without him, waiting to see what would happen.

Underfell Sans & Papyrus - "I JOINED THE ROYAL GUARD." "the hell you mean you joined the royal guard?! you're barely 15!" "YOU SAID YOU WERE TIRED TO HAVE ME AROUND AND TO BE USEFUL FOR ONCE!" "i didn't mean enroll in the army and go die stupidly for monsters who don't give a shit about you!" "WELL THAT'S TOO LATE NOW SO PISS OFF." Yeah. Edge was something. It's mainly Red's fault though. Red never asked to raise a child on his own and he was harsh on Edge, doing his best to teach him how to survive, even if he had to be mean to do that. Nox entered the guard at a young age, while Rus was manipulated by rebels and educated on how bad the Queen and the Royal Guard were. Obviously, when Rus learned his brother joined the guard, he got mad, and then left the house and didn't come back. Rus met the wrong people, and he slowly let them convince him to try alcohol as a solution to any problem, which obviously didn't help him feel better.

Fellswap Gold Sans & Papyrus - Wine was very conscious about Coffee's different ways of seeing the world. He didn't know what autism was at the time, but he knew for sure that his brother didn't understand the way the world worked and that eventually, the world would have crushed him before he got a chance to defend himself. So Wine, young captain at the time, kept him locked and busy so he didn't get killed. With his new status, he knows Coffee is more protected but also more of a target, so he's scared to find only his ashes in the morning. That actually makes Coffee's social anxiety even worse, as Wine prevented him to develop any social skills. Coffee was only talking with his brother and that weird Temmie he sneaked in when Wine was leaving in mission. He had several rebellion phases, where he escaped the house and gave his brother panic attacks, but Coffee almost died during one of the runaways and decided Wine was right, even though he's sick of being locked in the house all the time. Wine has definitely a part in Coffee's social problems, and safety doesn't explain everything.

There is indeed Monster Alcohol; It differs how many other items infused with Magic are. Sometimes, depending on the Monster brewing said drinks, you can get some crazy or really helpful boosts/additions! But, you can also get some pretty bad ones along with it... Depends where one goes, truthfully! Or what AU one is in, I like to think~ (Guess DND rules apply here; I wished I was more into that world somewhat)

As for the Boys Favorites... I'm only going to do the boys I'm comfortable with;

Underswap; -Blue(Or Blitz) absolutely LOVES any type of human alcohol, but he does prefer beers over anything sweet. The larger the %, the better chance he'll get a hint of being tipsy. He can drink Monster Alcohol, just hates the perks that go with it while the Human version gives him no backlashes or the likes. Does he get tipsy off Monster Alcohol? A little quicker, sure... But man, something about those beers humans make tastes way better to him?? (Also likes the looks he gets- People think he'd be a sweet drinker or get those fancy drinks... Hell no, give him some shots, even. Dude's hardcore in the alcohol area... Just has to hide it.) -Stretch/Honey(Or Hal) doesn't like anything with alcohol in any aspects. Says no matter how small the % is, he can still smell and taste the alcohol within it. He'll only drink if it's a celebration- But will split it with someone. (He ends up giving practically the whole thing to whoever he's 'sharing' with...)

Swapfell Red; -Mutt(Russell) actually can handle Monster Alcohol WAY better than he can with Human Alcohol... To this day, he still doesn't understand WHY he can't handle the Human drinks?? But, despite easily getting drunk; Least it's a quick way if he wants to get hammered and get out of his foul mood quick. Yeah, he's going to be a crab the next day due to a horrible hangover; Maybe out for 2 days; But... He's also hasn't drank any Monster Alcohol primarily due to his ex, regrettably, having the best alcohol he's ever had and since breaking up with her-(Muffet in his AU, she's made one hell of a brew that has a high addiction level he's had to wean himself off back in the day)- He's really hated other alcohol any other monster has brewed. 'don't taste right' he says... But, he'll still down whatever alcohol is put in front of him; Be it Monster or Human type, and he's not picky at all with what he gets. -Black(Regal) is the Monster Wine drinker of the bunch; However, he will ONLY get it from one of his own members of his world. He has ironically a close-nit relationship with his Gillby, who just so happens to have specially made Wine just for him. It depends on the time of month; But he really enjoys the Mulberry Wine or Chokeberry Wine the best.

Swapfell Purple; -Gray(Nutty) actually doesn't get drunk to any of the alcohol types! He doesn't like the flavors much, unless it's got that hidden alcohol and he's just going to drink it like juice... Or if someone bets him they could out drink him- Dude's going to have fun watching that! But he's also has one hell of a type of ability to tell what's in a drink by scent alone... (That helped him not get drugged in his own AU back in the day; He does love to tell others what's in the drink, too! Nice party trick!) -Slick(Cash/Ghost) is the one who drinks constantly; Morning, lunch, and evening, dude will always have some type of alcohol in his clutches. Doesn't care what it is, so long as it helps his thirst-.... For a little bit. (He's super gross with it sometimes, too- Drinks old beers if he's short on cash.)

just a short little thing cause I have to go for something but what do you think of atypical nicknames for the more popular sans characters cause I feel like some don't really feel like names or nicknames or are just kind of Meh.

Like instead of Lust I like to call him Bliss seems much more sensual and more like a name then just Lust.

Or Cosmic for Outer cause I just don't like Outer as a nickname and Stellar for Papyrus its short for Constellation.

Saint for Horror just the way I like to envision him sure it wasn't what he meant to be seen as but ut is what he is. In just a situation where he steps up to the people of Snowdin and before he lost parts of his skull he was doing alot for them seems like even given up his own food for others. In a situation where joining others allows him to feed Snowdin he would definitely be seen as a Saint. Also, I like Shine for Papyrus its a Nickname that Saint decided on.

Or Greed for SwapFell Purple Papyrus instead of something like Cash.

I have a big list for other nicknames for Killer being my favorite not exactly a sans sans. Envy is the most prominent one I feel like Killer an envious person even if he doesn't actually say anything about this wanting what others have what he lacks but not willing to admit he even wants it. Or Mal short for Malfunctioning Code its an inside thing. Or imagine if he were to have a secret identity who just goes by Buttercup lol. For his Papyrus I think Killer would give him nicknames like Astra or Nemophila as a more loving nickname and a more neutral one being just Silver. Astra being a short hand of Astragalus a flower meaning "Your Presence Softens my Pain" which works for Color too honestly. Nemophila is another flower meaning "You are my one an only innocence & happiness" combining the two is also cool for something like Astraphila a less direct way of admiting how much he cares for his brother which I strongly see that he does.

Also Dust instead going by Husk being just a husk of Sans. Well thats how he might see himself.

Do you like any of the nicknames? Also just a little thing but a Killer and Bliss either ship or friendship name should be Kiss it sounds nice and its the name of a cool band.

I think these better sounding names are pretty cool and I honestly prefer them, although Cash is a cool name for me. Bliss is a very beautiful name, and I often tend to prefer calling Lust by the more recognized other name Sugar Plum.

For nicknames like Horror and Dust/Murder, I can see this being a case of names they didn’t want and didn’t choose, and were likely given to them from someone else.

perhaps by Killer to go with the idea that they’re basically like pets from Nightmare for Killer, or maybe it’s what the rest of the multiverse calls them—Horror because of his appearance, Dust/Murder likely because he’s frequently covered in monster dust.

As for Killer, I feel like the idea of a name change would feel like something he doesn’t deserve—for Stage 1.

He wants to be called Sans, somewhere deep down, but he doesn’t feel like the person he was when he had that name and he doesn’t feel like he has any right to avoid the “responsibility”for his actions as Killer under Nightmare—of course he doesn’t have to take any responsibility for what he was forced and coerced into doing, but he would feel like he should.

Stage 2 doesn’t have a tendency to emotionally attach on too things and is used to adapting to whoever he needs to appease and survive, but he did just accept the name given to him. He’s a killer. Makes sense. That’s what he exists to do. (Self fulfilling prophecy head ahhs 😒)

Although, I can definitely see all Stages of Killer being more receptive to nicknames—especially if they’re from Color. Such as @zuzuelectricbugaloo’s HC that Color would call him Omri.

I like the idea of Killer calling Color something like Astra, although i definitely prefer the idea that they use Arabic terms of endearment and nicknames for eachother a lot. Such as habibi.

Astraphilia is an adorable name for Something New Papyrus, although im sure Astraphilia and Killer’s relationship wouldn’t be so straightforward—would very likely be very complicated and messy, especially if any of the other Stages view Papyrus as a threat.

And although Stage 1 definitely does love and miss Papyrus a lot (he wants to go back to his brother), there’s a lot of pain and guilt and shame and (admittedly) very likely some intense dreadful fear.

Stage 1 misses Papyrus and yet he feels Papyrus doesn’t need him tainting up his Good Ending. Papyrus doesn’t need him, is what he thinks, even as he fantasizes about what would happen if they ever met again. He’s changed. He’s not the person Papyrus remembers or loves.

And i don’t know why but i always pictured that, given in canon Stage 2 refers to other alternate Papyri as “bro” even as he scares and threatens them, that he’d simply refer to the Papyrus from his timeline as Papyrus.

Not because he sees this Papyrus as somehow more special and real than any other Papyrus, but because he’s given Papyrus the “dignity” and “respect” of not pretending to be his brother.

I’ll just talk about Wine since I don’t know enough about SwapFell to say anything related to it. I can totally see him using a clay water filter — one of those brazilian-style ones with a little crochet cozy on it — and he hates when people choose tap water over his filtered water.

So OG Sans can play the trombone, Underfell! Sans plays a trumpet according to his creator. Do you think any of the other au skeletons play instruments? Part of me wants Swap! Papyrus to play the drums solely so he can make the ba dum tss sound. Other other half of me wants to give him an electric keyboard that is always set to the silly sound effects setting like duck quacks and dogs barking.

Ooooo that's a good question!!! 👀!!!!!!! I have many many thoughts on this and have settled on exactly 0 of them!! (I have multiple opposing headcanons and simply pick and choose whatever I think is funniest/most interesting for the situation)

ONE of them is "all the Sanses play brass wind instruments, and all the Papyri play percussion or strings" (One of the bits in the Papyrus QnA also reinforced this for me)

I love love love the idea of Swap!Pap playing drums!! He also strikes me as a guitar guy tbh (*pointedly looks away from the Bard in Flipping Fate*) I feel like he's also the most likely to own a kazoo or a ukelele though. Maybe even an omatone.

... Funny you mention using a keyboard for silly sounds! In a deleted scene from EOVD, Swapfell!Papyrus has a soundboard lmao. I can also see him playing a cello or bass... (or at least, for the way I write him.) Speaking of the way I write him- I've also made reference to him being a trombone player for a one off gag lol. Bwuuu.

In the same vein of "things I've written about/gestured at before", but I don't think classic Pap ever settles on an instrument. He tries out a bunch but never ends up playing one more than any other. So in a way I can see him with any and all instruments lol.

If sticking by the Sans=Brass rule, I feel like Swap!Sans and Swapfell!Sans would have either a saxophone (more like saxobone) or a tuba. Either combination works in my mind. If not sticking by that rule, I could see Swapfell!Sans playing a string instrument maybe? Or a clarinet lol. Swap!Sans also strikes me as a trumpet guy, if you don't mind overlaps.

Underfell!Papyrus ... I like to think he plays piano :] In contrast to the existing discussions about where the piano falls on the scale between percussion and strings; any instrument is a percussion instrument if you hit it hard enough.

Additionally. I think he was taught to play piano by UF!dyne and you can pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands !!!!!!!

Also as a bonus, I think Horror!Pap would play the harp. No particular reason, I just like the visual of it lol. Horror!Sans probably just... stopped playing his trombone, and after getting his head injury either picks it up again or resorts to humming/tapping along instead because fine motor control is harder for him :p
