Been thinking about my new Vox body lore again and also had thoughts about like, intersex hc/tags for characters in general.

I feel like a lot of times if it see the intersex tag for inhuman characters(especially in hh) its basically just an excuse to wanna give them both parts because its fun. Which, it is. Bodies are dumb as fuck and you should be able to mix and match whatever the fuck you want. But with all my intersex hc, I try to use at least some real intersex condition or sexual abnormalities in it.

Like, the way I write Val, he's intesex(and also just has fucking weird ass bug biology). I specifically gave him a uterine prolapse and an abnormal sized vaginal canal and his dick is essentially apart of his weird bug labia.

And now with my new Vox lore, I've decided I'm giving him a bifid clit, because DUHHHH. (A bifid clitoris is a clit abnormality where you basically have two clits at the same time. It reminds me of a two headed snake a little? Also sharks have two dicks and Vox deserves a shark clit too.) And I'm also giving him a imperforate hymen, which is why he's flat like a barbie. I think specifically for him, it's a accidental gender affirming thing (similar to Alastor's pussy being accidental bottom surgery that was meant as a punishment for his lack of manliness as a human, but rip god's dumbass because that deer is transfem) because I'm hc-ing Vox as someone who just like, never particularly wanted any kind situation going on down there at all. He had mild bottom disphoria and then got to hell and was met with a Nothing Pussy™ and was hype as fuck about it.

I said it over on twitter but it bears repeating over here.

Louis is light-skinned, him being black doesn't mean he automatically has the darkest skin tone in the room, and it's noticeable and odd when you choose to draw him darker than Armand. I understand the want to make sure you aren't whitewashing but we've gone too far in the other direction and it's still not great. You do need to still put in the effort to not just slapping any skin tone on a person. This happens with Claudia a ton too, especially with season 1 Claudia.

Black people are not a monolith. We aren't a vague collection of swappable features to pick and choose at random, and its starting to feel like artists don't care to actually draw how black characters look as long as they are recognizable as a generalized black person. Making non-black characters notably lighter and smaller in stature compared to a black character has roots in a bunch of racist shit, and it feels especially egregious in Louis' case. Ofc as an artist you're going to emphasize and stylize one way or another, but you also need to recognize that you aren't creating in a vacuum, and how you depict people is reflective of how many of us are seen.
