Sweater Day

We have officially entered into sweater weather territory in the Midwest of the United States. When the weather outside is frightful I like to stay warm and cozy in a comfortable and cute sweater. I don't have a particular preference or style of sweater that I like the most. As long as it is fashionable and not itchy I'm good with it.

Before I disappear (???), I wanna show a sneak peeck of a knitting project on which I started to work in August

I really like the design of the sweater, which @bloodrediscream gave to Reboot Wally, so I decided to make it :]

I don't know how long it will take me to finish it, because it is my second knitting project, so wish me luck, I guess <]

After a lot longer than this needed to take, I’ve finally finished my first adult sized sweater. This is red heart acrylic. My own design, no pattern but a lot of numbers scribbled on various papers.

Definitely a learning experience, but a result I’m happy to wear... finished just in time for the warm season XD

Already started planning the next sweater before this one was even finished. Going to try out a little fair isle and see if I can hack it.

I took time off because of my hand, and in those two months I’ve completely forgotten my vision with this sweater. Not closely planning the button placket has really bit me in the ass. I’m not satisfied with it as it stand because it strikes me as sloppy.

The sleeves caps turned out alright, considering they’re my first attempt at designing them. The armscye is a little deep, and so to reduce some gaping and excess fabric, I snuck in 7 decreases on either side for the last short rows.
