The crown of ash : what is water (6) (6/6) final episode
Tumblr media
( Explanation of the figure)
It is a figure of the five elements (Wood,Fire,Soil,Metal,Water) that brought water to the center. Get the fire for the ashes. Metal is taken out of the soil (the remainder of the soil). Nanji  (汝)shall be "you" with water + woman. It indicates the obedience of a woman, and even "woman" (女)is read as "nanji". To vomit is to "create". Because the soil produces everything.
(6 episodes in all, I will post an article I wrote in a mini comic magazine from 1984 to 1985. It is old, but I still admit that it has a certain value. My writing (This)is an article that corresponds to training. Episode 6, the final episode.)
‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥‥
Recently, when washing, I use the spring water of Nukui Benten (Koganei City). The way that flows into the Nogawa, because there is a waterway, where I do. At that time, synthetic detergent, of course, the soap also does not use. Just wash with water. However, if I am concerned about oil stains, use ash (made by burning charcoal) and wash in a basin. So, I am fully satisfied, wearing the clothes.
For more than 10 years, there has been a movement to stop using synthetic detergents and switch to soap, but why not switch to soap? It's true that soap is less toxic and better than synthetic detergents. The reason for this is that, difference between the two is, are relative, because not differ essentially, I believe that.
Synthetic detergents are produced by forcibly using petroleum, so it is natural that there is a problem. Things like multiplying Warped oil to the creatures. Similarly ,it would be phosphate-free. This is out of the question. Then, how about soap --- "Make it by adding alkali (ash) to biological fats and oils." First of all, with regard to fats and oils, if you collect the tempura oil that you throw away in the sink in the kitchen, you can keep rivers and lakes clean and use it as a raw material for soap, so it will be a step forward. However, is another one of the alkali content is a problem. Usually, "caustic soda (sodium hydroxide)" produced by electrolyzing seawater is used. This is, for industrial is important, and the eyes by mistake, and blindness. Also, during electrolysis, chlorine gas is emitted as a single crack. This poisonous gas is the causative agent of the carcinogen trihalomethane.
If you admit soap, you will have to admit trihalomethane in fact. It should be noted that the sodium in many soaps, if it is defeated in the fields as fertilizer, will cause salt damage. Crops grow unexpected barren earth. This is not a groundless. Synthetic detergents and soaps are similar in that they use artificial techniques that detract from nature.
Again, for spring water. Most of the dirt on ordinary clothes is mud, dust, and salt. This is easily soluble in water. The rest is about 10% oil and fat that is difficult to dissolve in water. It should be noted that the reason why soap does not foam easily depends on the salt content, so you know that you should wash it once with water and then wash it. Besides, since the river is connected to the sea, it is better to return the salt to the river. (grandpa goes to the river to do the laundry!) I usually wear clothes that are not conspicuous, so washing with water is enough. If you are concerned about oil, wash it with ash. Ash is alkaline, so if you stir it in a basin, it will react with the oil in your clothes and form soap! ――― Yes, ash is enough to remove the oil.
What to do if there are no springs or rivers nearby? That's easy. First of all, to wash their own hands. You can then machine it or wash it by hand until the end. Sewage goes to the sea via a treatment plant. With respect to the salinity, good in this. Those of the sea, may return to the sea. However, considering the whole sewage, it is not so easy.
This is not something that cannot be done. Can not? --- You are lazy.
Also, what should I do with things that are difficult to remove with soap, such as machine stains? ――― I don't work in such a place, so I don't have to think about it. Please use synthetic detergents to damage your health. Nothing makes the world worse than continuing to deceive yourself into a job you don't want to do. (Author = Writer's Note: After this, I also got a job covered in machine oil. Hahaha ...)
Is the oil and fat that I have been the enemy of my eyes really a bad guy? Vegetables and fruits are wrapped in wax (oils and fats) from themselves. This is self-defense in every sense. Mold-virus sweating .... other. But what if I forcibly remove this with detergent? You get sick. Human beings as well. Blindly No need to drop. What you want to drop is just a mindset that cares about how it looks. "Lightly dressed of groovy, you will catch cold."
Well, this series also, ends at this time. I've been writing for a year and I've changed a lot. At first, I had only water in my sight and even looked down on fire.
This was my mistake. Now, I want to be friends with all of the five elements, Wood,Fire,Soil,Metal,Water:which are the worldviews of China. In this, I have written about Water,Wood,Soil, so I will write what I am thinking about fire and metal.
Fire: Recently, my friend recommended me to cook over charcoal. This is also, wonderful. Charcoal fires burn from itsself, never accepting coercion from others. Its fire power is strong. Brown rice also, cook sufficient soil pan. I really think so when the joy of one person shifts to another and sees the burning charcoal. The suppressed gas also explodes. Charcoal are not. Scientifically, charcoal fire does not just produce calories, but emits "far infrared rays" to warm Honwaka Honyari(ほんわか・ほんやり). The blessing of the sun --- the food for our lives. If there is a fire and water, all begins.
In addition, ash is also amazing. Component of the ash, sodium less, potassium often. It can become an ideal fertilizer. In the story of washing earlier, the size of the ash-containing water received by the basin is to be used as fertilizer later. --- The Power of ash, but that's not all. For more information, see "There is a mystery in the ashes " (Author Takeo Koizumi, NTT Publishing) Please refer to the like. Yes, gray life, welcome!
I want to wear ashes and live. I want to live like ashes.
Metal. This is the etymology of "taken from the soil." It includes not only metals, but also petroleum, plastics, glass and so on. The current usage is industrial products --- the best for humans. I don't completely deny it, but You don't overdo it—Metal is precious because it's scarce. I myself, but is the Faculty of Engineering born, for the metal, we believe that we should be cautious.
So far, in a series of six times, I would like to write you ,the point I want to say really.
(1) Water is not just a material. alive.
(2) Do technology think to clean the water. Trying to live that does not pollute the water.
(3) No matter how dirty it is, water is water and thank you for drinking it.
(4) Do not use too much water. It sheds important things and shortens our lives.
(5) Try to use the water near you. Even if you don't like dams, the idea of driving to the mountains is wrong.
(6) Everything starts with changing yourself.
・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・
Most of the water I have touched so far is land water. It is of water on Earth, only 0.1%. Parts per thousand. I, water, little known. So, my work from this is, fun.
 Let's meet again. (End)

Zeolites MarketAccounted for Billions with a Growing CAGR of 3.1% by 2026- Exclusive Report by MarketsandMarkets™
Zeolites are a group of porous, crystalline minerals made up of aluminum, silicon, and oxygen atoms. They are used in a variety of applications, including water and air purification, and as catalysts in chemical reactions. Zeolites also have potential applications in medicine, as they can absorb toxins and other substances from the body. Zeolites are also used in agriculture, as soil additives to…

The global zeolites market size is estimated to be USD 12.1 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach USD 14.1 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 3.1% between 2021 and 2026. Rising demand for synthetic zeolites from the detergent industry and high demand for natural zeolites in construction & building materials is aiding to the growth of the zeolites market.
Based on type, the zeolites market is segmented into natural and synthetic zeolites. Natural zeolites was the largest segment in the overall zeolites market in 2020, in terms of value and volume. This is majorly due to the growing demand for natural zeolites in various applications such as construction & building materials, soil remediation, animal feed and wastewater treatment among others.
Based on function, catalyst segment is estimated to account for the largest share of the overall zeolites market, in terms of value, in 2020. Increasing demand for zeolites as catalysts in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) applications in oil & gas and petroleum industry is driving the growth of this segment. Zeolites are the most important inorganic material used in the production of oil & gas in the petrochemical and oil refining industries. They are routinely used as catalysts in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) and hydrocarbon cracking (HC) applications. Zeolite catalysts have the advantage of removing hydrogen from alkanes at the acidic sites or reaction sites.
Based on applications, the zeolites market is segmented as detergents, catalysts, absorbent/desiccant, and others (emission control, medical oxygen) for synthetic zeolites. Detergents segment is estimated to dominate the synthetic zeolites market. The high demand for synthetic zeolite in detergents is due to the stringent regulations on detergent ingredients imposed by governments of various countries. For instance, in Europe, the use of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) is restricted in detergents, thus propelling the demand for zeolites as its substitute in detergents.  Further, the construction & building materials segment is expected to be the largest application of the natural zeolites, by volume. Natural zeolites improve the strength and stability of concrete and cement. Owing to these advantages, there is a high demand for natural zeolites from the construction & building materials sector.

laundry day with msby4 🧺
my headcanon is that when they first moved in they all had their own bottle of detergent they’ve grown used to using at their childhood homes. but after a while they realised that sakusa’s laundry always smelt the best and they all switched to his brand of laundry detergent 😄
✨and of course it’s the kind that’s natural & non-toxic, safe for sensitive skin, biodegradable & septic safe, no optical brighteners, naturally antibacterial, suitable for hand washing, no synthetic fragrance, plant-based, AND eco-friendly (they wonder why the grocery expenditure went up by 30%)✨

Hygiene tips
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, after using the restroom, after coughing or sneezing, and after touching public surfaces.
Carry a hand sanitizer with you. Make sure the sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol and rub it over your hands until dry.
When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow to prevent the spread of germs. Dispose of used tissues immediately.
Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible, as these are entry points for germs into your body.
Take showers or baths regularly to keep your body clean and fresh. Use soap and water to thoroughly cleanse your body, paying attention to areas like armpits, feet, and groin.
Brush your teeth at least twice a day for two minutes each time, using fluoride toothpaste. Don't forget to clean your tongue, and replace your toothbrush every three to four months.
Keep your nails short and clean to prevent the buildup of dirt and bacteria. Use a nail brush to scrub under your nails regularly.
Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces in your home, such as doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and electronics. Also, keep your living space well-ventilated.
Wash your clothes, bed linens, and towels regularly, following the manufacturer's instructions. Use the appropriate water temperature and detergent to ensure proper cleanliness.
Avoid sharing personal items like towels, razors, toothbrushes, or makeup.
Practice good food hygiene by washing fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consumption. Cook food to the appropriate temperature to kill harmful bacteria, and refrigerate leftovers promptly.
Keep your surroundings clean: Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, phones, keyboards, and remote controls. This helps eliminate germs that may be present on these surfaces.
Maintain clean and healthy feet: Keep your feet clean and dry to prevent fungal infections. Wash your feet regularly, dry them thoroughly (especially between the toes), and wear clean socks and well-fitting shoes.
Ensure that the water you use for drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene is clean and safe. If necessary, use water filters or boil the water before use.
If possible, use a shower filter.
If you are sexually active, use barrier methods (such as condoms) to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections. Get regular check-ups and screenings as recommended by healthcare professionals.
Take care of your mental well-being by managing stress, getting enough sleep, engaging in regular physical activity, and seeking support when needed. Good mental health is essential for overall well-being.
Sleep with aloe vera on your face to help with scars and acne.
Massage your body with oils and lotions after shower or before bed.
Eat greek yogurt to help fix PH balance, acne and odor in your private area.
Wear cotton based underwear.
Do not treat your body like a trashcan.
To smell good during the day:
Regular bathing helps remove sweat, dirt, and odor-causing bacteria from your body.
Apply antiperspirant or deodorant to clean, dry underarms to control sweat and odor.
You can also use baking soda and lemon to get rid of under arm odor.
Put on freshly laundered clothes each day. Clean clothing helps prevent the buildup of odor-causing bacteria and keeps you smelling fresh.
When choosing clothes, opt for natural fibers like cotton or linen, which allow air to circulate and help wick away moisture from your body. Avoid synthetic materials that can trap sweat and lead to unpleasant odors.
Brush your teeth at least twice a day, floss daily, and use mouthwash to maintain fresh breath. Don't forget to clean your tongue as well.
Apply a pleasant fragrance, such as perfume or cologne, sparingly. Avoid excessive application, as it can be overwhelming to others. Focus on pulse points like the wrists, neck, or behind the ears.
Keep your feet clean and dry to prevent foot odor. Wash your feet daily, dry them thoroughly (especially between the toes), and wear clean socks and well-ventilated shoes.
Regularly brush your tongue, as it can harbor bacteria and contribute to bad breath. Visit your dentist regularly for check-ups and cleanings.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to flush out toxins from your body. Staying hydrated can help prevent the buildup of odors.
Certain foods, such as garlic, onions, and spicy dishes, can contribute to body odor. Pay attention to your diet and make choices that minimize strong odors if you are concerned about smelling good.
Keep a small travel-sized deodorant, wet wipes, or refreshing body spray with you to freshen up during the day, especially in hot or humid weather.
Ensure your clothes, towels, and bed linens are washed regularly. Use a detergent with a fresh scent to keep them smelling clean.
Spray perfume on your brush or use natural oils that are safe for your hair.
Wipe front to back to avoid infections. Use toilet paper then wipes.
moisturize your skin.
When washing your hair, make sure you are using products that clean your hair without drying it out.
Keep feminine wipes with you.

Thinking about scent, and the way a person's musk and sweat combine with the residue of shampoo and laundry detergent and deodorant to create a smell that is unique to them. A combination of organic and synthetic, innate and deliberate. The story of their natural body and the care they put into it.
Thinking about robots, and the stories their scent might tell. Brass and ozone. Fine steel dust from their component parts rubbing together when they move. The hot air venting from their cooling system. A particular brand of machine oil.
Thinking about the way a person's home smells like them, and the way some people smell like home.
Thinking about holding my cherished bot, breathing in the scent of a fresh coat of carnauba wax, the lingering traces of soldering fumes and isopropyl alcohol. Inhaling stories of their construction and of their programming and of my love for them.

Crying Over Spilt Detergent | Joel Miller x f!reader
Tumblr media

Still new to writing for Joel, and fics in general, so please be kind. If you like it, consider liking, commenting or reblogging -- really helps encourage me to keep going, and tbh, it would be a welcome distraction. Thanks hunnie bunnies, ilysm.
Tumblr media
The laundry basket wedged onto your hip is starting to get uncomfortable, heavy from the clothes you’ve neglected the past few weeks. Your grip on the plastic edge is beginning to leave a red line in the crease of your fingers.
The laundromat wasn’t a far walk, but it wasn’t particularly short, either – the distance just enough to be a bit of a burden.
You don’t mind.
You need to clear your head after the shitty day you’ve just had.
After what you’ve just learned.
The sun dips below the horizon, and the typical Americana summer night rolls in.
You amble down the narrow sidewalk, taking the town in for what it is – what it’s always been.
The air was thick with the sweet smell of barbecue smoke from the nearby grill. The yellow street lights started to flicker on, staining the darkening streets with their harsh, synthetic glow. The sound of cold beers being toasted rings out from the nearby bar.
The asphalt, still warm from the summer sun, hums beneath your feet. The aging brick buildings, with their chipped paint and well-worn charm, watch over the streets like silent sentinels, their windows reflecting the moonlight.
You pause to move the basket to your other hip, and that’s when you see it.
Sometimes the smallest towns hold the biggest secrets.
The title of the book reflects back at you through the glass pane of the bookstore window.
You smirk.
It’s not the town.
It’s the people.
You should know.   X X X
The bright red LAUNDROMAT sign lights the night sky. The OPEN sign hangs in the window.
You step through the threshold, relieved to finally have some respite from the stickiness of the humidity.
You walk toward the washing machines, and release your now-aching grip on the basket onto the counter in front of you.
As you gaze around, you’re grateful to find that nobody is there.
Not that you expected anyone to be there – not at this hour, anyway.
The worn-out linoleum, the rhythmic hum of the old machines, the scent of detergent and bleach – as weird as it is, you’ve come to appreciate it.
You like doing your laundry at night.
Alone in your solitude.
Alone in your mind.
With your laundry now loaded into the drum, you’re fumbling with the oversized detergent bottle.
Damn thing.
Before you know it, it slips from your grasp.
The cap pops open and a cascade of neon-blue liquid spills onto the floor beneath you.
Shit.
God damn it.
Holding the now-empty detergent bottle, your heart lurches, the weight of the accident pressing down on you, compounding everything that’s already happened today.
The detergent puddle expands slowly, seeping into the grooves between the tiles, lacing the air with an overpowering scent of artificial freshness.
You clumsily step back, your sneakers slip on the slick surface and you fall to the floor.
The overwhelming scent of the detergent fills your senses, and the now literal pain in your ass exacerbates the sudden sting of tears welling up in your eyes.
Great. This is just what you need.
You sit there, head down, covered in goo, your face warm and your cheeks wet, when the familiar ring of the bell above the door catches your attention.
A man steps through.
His boots thud softly against the ground and the door swings shut behind him.
Through your blurry gaze, you look up and are surprised at who you see.
Joel Miller.
You’ve never talked to him before, and only know his name because…well, people talk.
Not many people come into this town, and especially not people that look like him.
All you know about him is that he’s new in town, here for a few months to oversee the construction job of the new hospital. He’s single. Lives with his teenage daughter, Sarah.
Apart from that, he’s a total stranger.
While you haven’t actually spoken with him, you’ve definitely stolen a few glances at him around town – at the hardware store up the street in the paint section; in the frozen section of the grocery store with a Hungry-Man in his hand; nursing a glass of whiskey at the bar after a long day.
Joel pauses at the entrance of the laundromat and stares at you and the soap-painted canvas you’ve turned the floor into.
“Shit, honey. Are you alright?” he asks with delicate caution, voice low, as he walks towards you.
Even in your state, you pause to notice the sweetness of his southern drawl.
He crouches down, facing you, and the tread of his boots grazes the puddle of detergent.
You look up at him, eyes red and swollen from the torrent of tears that had moments before been cascading down your cheeks. The harsh fluorescent light overhead reflects off your glistening tears, playing across your distraught features like a lachrymose prism.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." your voice cracks, the lie too heavy on your trembling lips.
For a moment, silence claims the laundromat, before you drop the act entirely.
"No…no, I'm not," you admit, your voice shattering the quiet.
He’s only just met you, but the visible pain in your eyes causes his heart to hurt.
“C’mere, let’s get you off this floor,” he says as he offers you his large palm.
You place your hand in his.
With a gentle pull, he helps you up from the cold, hard ground. As you rise, you slightly stumble, and he instinctively pulls you into a comforting embrace.
His kindness, his warmth, catch you by surprise.
You find refuge in his arms, your body sinking into his as he wraps you in a protective hug.
You notice a faint, distinctive scent swirling around him - a mix of woodsmoke, fresh laundry - although that’s probably you - and an underlying hint of pine and aftershave. It's a comforting, welcoming smell, a smell that somehow feels like home.
Nestled in his strong arms, you find unexpected solace to the harsh reality of your pain.
“So, ‘m guessin’ you’re not just cryin’ over spilt detergent,” he says.  Joel Miller is an observant man.
You release your grip around him, and take a step back, now painfully aware that you don’t actually know him, but you could have stayed in his embrace for hours.
“No, I…um. No. It’s not about the detergent,” you pause to lock eyes with him. “It’s just, I’ve had a no good, really awful fucking day, and now,” you pause to take a breath, your arms lifting and falling by your sides in exasperation “...this.”
Joel looks around at the mess, at you, and places both of his hands on his hips. He wants to ask you what’s wrong, about your day, but he doesn’t want to pry.
Instead, he simply says, “Yeah, I’d say this is quite the mess you’ve got yourself into here, sweetheart.”
He has no idea.
“C’mere, I’ll help you clean it up,” he offers as his head tilts to the janitor's closet in the back.
You normally wouldn’t be so quick to accept a stranger's help, but you’d be there until the morning if you had to clean up the mess yourself.
It's not like you wanted to go home anyway, not after what happened, but you don't particularly want to spend all night in the laundromat, either.
In the closet, you find an old mop and bucket and a handful of extra towels.
You grab them, walk back to the sea of soap, and you both drop to your knees to begin to clean up the mess.
While the floor gets cleaner, you both get dirtier – wet and soapy from the mundane and repetitive task of swiping the detergent off the floor, rinsing it in the water in the bucket, and bringing it back to the floor.
You don’t speak.
Halfway through your cleanup job, Joel is the first to break the silence.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he asks gently, his voice soft yet inviting, sincerity and genuine concern reflected in his tone.
You stop cleaning.
“My boyfriend – he, um. He’s cheating on me,” you cough out, feeling the tears begin to well in your eyes once more.
You go back to cleaning to distract yourself, noticing the scuffs from countless footsteps etched into the tiles.
“With my sister,” your confession hangs in the air.
Joel inhales sharply, his heart aching for you once more.
“I guess it’s been going on for a while now,” you continue.
“I came home from work today to find a note on our kitchen table –”
“He told me –” You trail off, and you’re full-on crying again, unable to keep your tears at bay, the droplets falling to the ground create little soap bubbles as they mingle with the detergent and the friction of the towel.
“He told me it’s over. He packed his stuff and he left.”
“Seven years and the fucker couldn’t even tell me in person.”
Your sadness was starting to be replaced with something else, something grittier and darker – rage.
You furiously begin cleaning the floor – there’s hardly any detergent left, yet, you scrub.
Mid-sweep of the rag, Joel places his palm over the top of your hand to stop the movement.
His touch is warm and reassuring.
"Damn…’m really sorry, sweetheart," he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. It's a simple response, stripped of any pretense. “You don’t deserve that.”
As he looks you directly in your eyes, you can’t help but notice the flecks of amber in his gaze.
It stirs something low in your belly.
Joel admires the soft features of your face as you stare back at his. Your beautiful, somewhat bloodshot eyes – your swollen and pillowy lips.
Fuck.
He knows you’re sad, but did you have to look so hot like this?
Joel knows it’s wrong, he knows he just met you, but for some inexplicable reason, he just wants to make you feel good.
He pauses, swallowing the lump in his throat, and edges closer to you on his knees so your knees straddle the empty space between him and his thigh.
Gently, he lifts his hand, the calloused palm coming to rest against your soft, tear-streaked cheek.
The world around you seems to fade away as he brushes away the remnants of your tears with his thumb, his touch as light as a feather.
Your eyes meet, and a silent exchange of emotions begins to swirl in your depths.
Joel watches your breathing hitch, your eyes reflecting surprise. Slowly, cautiously, he moves his thumb down to trace the contour of your trembling lips.
He pauses, waiting for you to pull away.
You don’t. You’re not really sure why.
The anticipation builds as he leans in, your faces only inches apart.
Your breaths mingle together momentarily, and then he plants a soft kiss on your lips.
You hum in delight at the feeling of his lips.
You happily accept his eager tongue and swoon when you notice he tastes like mint toothpaste. It’s intoxicating.
Joel pulls away, realizing that what he’s doing probably isn’t a good idea.
You’re sad, and you’ve just had the worst day ever, and he doesn’t even know your name for christs sake.
“I – shit, sorry. I don’t know what came over me there…I just realized I don’t even know your name,” he says, brow creased in concern and the starting looks of regret.
“Youve had a bad day, and you’re sad. I don’t wan –” you interrupt him, lips crashing fiercely into his.
Still on your knees, you put your arms around his neck and intertwine your fingers through his hair.
This whole day has felt like a living nightmare. Completely out of your control.
But this? This you can control.
You’ve just met him, but god, you’ve never wanted someone so fucking bad.
Joel holds you by the waist close to his chest, and you can feel his hard cock beginning to strain against you in his jeans.
Your lips part with his briefly and you lean forward to whisper your name in his ear.
He groans in response. Learning your name, shit, even the sound of your name causes more blood to flow to his already hard dick.
With one hand on your waist, you start to feel the other one slowly inching down the curve of your ass, around your hip, and into the space between your two bodies.
The tips of his fingers find the elastic waistband of your cotton shorts and thin underwear you’re wearing. His hand slips below both, and his fingers quickly find the soft skin between your legs.
He begins to spread your folds, feeling your stickiness.
You’re wet. You’re so fucking wet.
He slowly pushes a finger into you.
“Gonna make you feel you feel real good, sweetheart, just like you deserve,” he says.
With his finger inside you, he watches you closely – he drinks in the way you hold your breath as he fills you.
He adds a second finger and scissors them in and out until your breathing is ragged and you’re limp against his chest.
His fingers retreat from your tight hole, and he begins to draw circles over your clit, finally giving you the friction you need.
His fingers remain relentless, and the rising heat of your orgasm quickly approaches.
“Joel, mmmm,” your breathless moans echo in his ear, and your face goes tight, then unravels into a rush of sticky sweet release.
“That’s it, baby. Look so beautiful like this,” he praises.
Joel removes his hand and raises his glistening fingers up to his lips, and licks them clean of you.
“Need to fuck you, sweetheart,” he says as he palms at his length.
You both rise to stand, and he lifts you up on top of the washer.
You quickly reach out to unbuckle his belt and release him from his jeans.
Shit.
He’s so big.
He takes himself in hand and swipes his length a few times, using his pre-cum as lube.
As if to know what you were thinking, Joel says, “It’s okay, I think we’ll make it fit.”
Joel positions himself between your legs and then notches his heavy cock and its red weeping tip at your entrance and begins to push himself inside you.
You gasp.
“Fuck –”
“So tight, such a sweet little cunt,” he says during his pause, letting you adjust to the size of him before he starts to move.
You wrap your arms around his shoulders and tug at the fabric of his shirt, and he pulls you closer into him with each thrust of his hips.
You’re dripping for him, practically gushing – his thick member glides in and out of you with ease, and you savor each thrust he gives you.
You just met, but by the way he fucks in and out out of you, you could have sworn your bodies were made to be connected.
He can feel his release starting to build, but he wants to get you there before him.
He snakes a hand to your core, rubbing tight circles against your throbbing clit and he thrusts into you harder.
“Good girl,” thrust, “such a good girl,” thrust.
It’s almost enough, his praise. You’re almost there.
Your fingernails dig little crescents into his back, and he coos, “Want you to come for me again, baby. Come on my cock –”
His voice and the command he gives you are enough to send you over the edge.
Your mind goes blank for the second time tonight as your orgasm ripples through you.
Your tight walls clamp down on him.
He watches as you throw your head back, moans spilling from your lips as your body releases subtle shakes.
“Fuck, that was pretty,” Joel growls. “Gonna cum, need to cum,” he pants.
He gives you a few more rolls of his hips before he quickly pulls out, and shoots his hot milky load onto your belly.
Both of your breaths come to a slow, and he looks at you affectionately, “you okay?”
You nod. “Yes,” and for the first time today, you actually are.
“Looks like we have another mess to clean up,” Joel quips as a smile washes over his face.
He helps you off the washer, and helps you clean yourself off.
You both finish what you entered the laundromat to do – laundry.
You talk while your clothes dry.
He helps you fold yours. You help him fold his.
Once done, you walk out of the laundromat together, unsure of where to go from here.
“Come on, I’ll give you a ride,” Joel says, as he nods towards his truck.
You accept his offer, no longer needing a walk to clear your head.
Both on the passenger side of the truck, Joel pauses as it suddenly dawns on him that he never told you his name.
“How’d you know my name?” he asks.
“It’s a small town,” you say, “everyone talks.”
And has their secrets.

hello!! i checked your faq and couldn't find this question, but you seem like the person who could answer it. when you acquire pre-loved or vintage plushies, how do you disinfect/wash them? especially beanie babies? like beyond spot cleaning
This turned into my masterpost of how to clean plushies! I also have a tag for plush care where i’ve answered asks about damaged fur, and brush recommendations + more!
How to wash and clean stuffed animals:
🧸 1. Prep! 🧸
I vacuum/lint roll the plush to get any stray hairs/dust/debris etc. I have a soft bristle brush attachment for my vacuum that i bought off amazon that i use exclusively for stuffed animals
I always hand wash my plushies when possible, but i’ve included a section on both spot cleaning for less dirty plush and machine washing under the wash section!
NOTE: if your plushie has a voice box or joints or anything inside that is incompatible with water then don’t submerge it!!
🧼 2. Soap! 🧼
I use Woolite brand soap because it’s gentle and safe for synthetics. You can also use dawn dish soap at even more diluted ratio. I dilute the detergent with water in about a 1:6 soap:water ratio in a small container (i usually use the detergent cap) Be aware that the more concentrated your soap is exponentially increases the amount of time it will take to rinse it out!
A good rule of thumb for your soap:water ratio is you want the solution you are using to be just a little slippery when rubbed between your fingers.
i use woolite but any gentle detergent safe for synthetics will work. Stuffed animal fur and stuffing is generally made of plastic! NO FABRIC SOFTENER! And no shampoo, conditioner, or soap made for human skin! The moisturizers used in these products will never “absorb” into the plastic fibers! These products will all leave a residue!
You can use very diluted cheap conditioner to detangle a plush but you will need to wash out the conditioner with a a detergent afterwards.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🫧 3. Wash! 🫧
Hand washing: I soak the plush under COLD running water first, and then with my hands i apply and lather the soap in to the fur/fabric and make sure i thouroughly saturate it with the soapy water.
For plush that can’t be bathed/aren’t super dirty/only need a spot clean I use a damp microfiber rag dipped in a mixture of lukewarm water + a tiny (like a drop!) of soap (woolite or dawn) and rub them down all over with it. Then I go over them with a rag damp with clean, soapless water until all the soap is gone. If your plush has medium or long fur you still will want to brush it out to make sure the fur dries soft and not clumped up! Check my section on drying/detailing below.
For machine washing put them in a pillow case to protect the eyes, and put some pillows/ blankets/ towels in the machine with the plush to pad it. use gentle detergent and wash it on “delicates” (or your machines gentlest cycle) with COLD water! Top loading machines do best for this and you’ll want to arrange them sitting up with their backs to the wall of the machine if possible. For front loading machines just throw a bunch of extra pillows/blankets to pad it. skip to step 5 if you end up using a washing machine. I find this method works very well for larger, sturdier plush like build a bears. NEVER PUT PLUSH IN THE DRYER!!!
🚿 4. Rinse! 🚿
Use cold running water! Make sure no soap remains. I smell the plushies periodically to be extra certain i’ve gotten the soap out. You can gently squeeze the plushie depending on the stuffing type. Some plush may need to be washed twice or three times depending on the filth-level, or rinsed multiple times depending on the soap concentration.
Beanie babies and some other plush can be squeezed because of their beans, but plush made out of purely soft stuffing can have their stuffing deformed if you squeeze them too much. Some brands like douglas have stiffer plush with beans and stuffing and they actually can be squeezed too. (DO NOT “WRING OUT” ANY PLUSH!!)
🧽 5. Pre-dry! 🧽
after the soap is 100% out and you are happy with the cleanliness of the plushie, you have two options to pre-dry them:
My favorite way is to put the plush in my washing machine and run it on “spin” cycle only, which is very effective at getting excess water out. In my experience the plush barely moves in my top loading machine, but you can always put the plush in a clean pillow case or put a bunch of clean towels in with it to pad/stabilize the plush in a side loader or if the plush is fragile
If you can’t use your washing machine for any reason, then try your best to get as much water out without damaging the plush. Consider wrapping it in a towel and making a sling with a second towel and spinning it around you, lol. It will be okay if you can’t do any of these things, though! You can also just use a towel and press it on your plush to try and soak up as much water.
Only you know how durable your plush is. The more well made it is (think big brands like douglas, jellycat, wild republic, aurora VS an antique) the more your plush can take without risking damaging the seams/parts. PLEASE don’t “WRING OUT” your plushies as this can deform them!
I NEVER put my plush in the dryer, it can melt the fur fibers and cause matting/damage!! Some people use the “air dry/no heat” but i don’t like to take risks
🧺 6. Dry! 🧺
⭐️ This is the most important part, you must set your plush up to air dry thouroughly!! I prefer to use a fan pointed at the plush. but if you don’t have access to any kind of fan then a hair dryer set on cool could work, and plain air drying works too, it just takes longer.
For plushies with medium/long fur (basically anything besides minky fabric) I brush the fur out with a soft bristle brush once or twice while it’s drying to make sure the fur dries fluffy and soft. I use a build a pear paw brush. You can also use a plastic slicker brush and brush backwards with the direction of the fur to avoid pulling the fur fibers out. Don’t use a brush/comb that’s been used on humans or pets without super disinfecting it first, as the skin oils/dirt can damage your plushies fur!
For beanie babies or any plush with beans you must make sure the beans dry completely, they take way longer than the stuffing!
You need to rotate the plush every few hours or so to make sure it’s drying throughly. Make sure the bottom of the plush gets just as much exposed drying time as the rest of the plush, as gravity will pull any water downwards.
Try not to dry it in a humid room, like a bathroom! There is a risk of mold if a plush doesn’t dry completely before being packed up/sealed up.
I also wouldn’t risk drying your plush outside due to sun bleaching and possibly debris from wind/trees landing on it. You can dry it in a window that gets sunlight still as long as you don’t leave it there for weeks on end. Sun bleaching takes quite a while so the risk is very small.
✨ 7. Detail! ✨
(optional) after the plush is completely dry i go back with the brushes and detangle/fluff up the plush! This is almost necessary for any long/medium furred plush to keep the fur soft and detangled. I use the soft bristle brush for all, and plastic slicker brush for long fur. You can get a small plastic slicker brush for kittens/small dogs at walmart for like $3. Just make sure to be gentle with any combs/slicker brushes to avoid damaging the plush/ripping out the fur. ^_^

This was super long! I have hand washed like 25 plushies of all different sizes at this point and this is what works for me. I have a lot of thrifted plush and they dont always come in great shape. you can reply to this post or send me a message if you have any questions!

Chlorine mourning What is water? (2)(2/6)
Tumblr media
Drugged tap water (process at water treatment plant)
(6 episodes in all, I will post an article I wrote in a minicomi magazine from 1984 to 1985. It is old, but I still admit that it has a certain value. My writing, This is an article for training. Episode 2)
A midsummer thriller title. Now you are in a standing buckwheat shop. I drank too much last night and miss the water. "Please give me the top of the water." --- "Gokugoku." (a sound of drinking)--- "Oh, honeydew." ... Calm down? Let's take a look at the kitchen. You should have washed the cup with a synthetic detergent. Rinse it with tap water and stand it upside down in a colander. When asked for water, I twisted the faucet and said, "Yes, hey." Is there any problem? ――― No, there is no other water that is so dangerous.
Tap water contains chlorine .and the "organochlorine compounds" such as trihalomethanes that it produces. What's more, there's plenty of synthetic detergent on the walls of the cup. These are swallowed in their entirety. The temperature inside the body is 35 to 36 degrees Celsius, and it is a mass of organic matter (carbon). Here, chlorine makes trihalos and the like. (Hereafter, trihalomethane is written as trihalo.)
The trihalo in tap water is at most 0.1 PPM. However, chlorine contains 1 or 2 PPM. At 1.5PPM, chlorine is 1.5 ÷ 0.1 = 15 --- 15 times more than trihalo. Trihalomethanes rarely reach 0.1 PPM, so in Tokyo it is about fifty times higher. Chlorine reacts easily, so it rampages in the body. Carcinogens are produced in the body, ride on the blood, and run around the body! This damages our genes. But that alone is less likely to cause cancer and less likely to have a negative effect on offspring.
However, there is another --- synthetic detergent. Trihalos damage genes, and synthetic detergents jam their recovery --- cancer. As you can see, trihalo and synthetic detergent are a good pair. (Is it a dirty pair?) In this case, trihalo is called an initiator and synthetic detergent is called a promoter.
But even with such dangerous chlorine, there is a case. Let's listen to his mourning. Chlorine is a component of salt (NaCl). In particular, sodium (Na﹢) is essential for life support. Chloride ion (Cl﹣) is not necessary, but it is a unique companion of sodium. Is it useless? It's like an ondori(=cock). (Oh, a man is sad.) And the life of chlorine ions is in the hundreds of millions of years in seawater. He, Chlorine, was embraced by the sea and gained a place of rest.
However, here, human beings created a technology called "electrolysis." Remember the science in junior high school. When an electrode is inserted into a saline solution and energy is applied, chlorine gas and caustic soda are formed. It's also in an instant. (Chlorine gas and chlorine ions are different.) Oh, chlorine and sodium were torn.
The companionship and the torn chlorine make a pathetic effort to somehow stabilize. that is,
1: It reacts randomly and tries to return to the original chlorine ion.
2: It sticks to carbon (C) even if there is a slight problem as a companion. It's an annoying marriage for living things, and unlikely in nature! (This is an "organochlorine compound".)
There is 1PPM of chlorine in tap water here, which means that 1 liter contains about 2 trillion times as much chlorine as the Japanese population. Such a large number of "shaken men" take 1: or 2: actions --- the carbon of the other party is also a huge population, so the lust map that unfolds there is tremendous. It happens in the human body as well as in tap water.
*********************
I can't stand such a paranormal world. (Lie!) Woo, regain my mind and continue.
In the first place, why do you drink with "chlorine"? One is for "sterilization". This is to kill bacteria and viruses and carry water over long distances "to prevent it from rotting". So to speak, "preservative". But a simple question arises.
1: Why do you have to carry water for such a long distance?
2: Why do you make bacteria so much an enemy of your eyes? ――― These are the two. Regarding 1), self
I can see a figure that I can't take care of, but I'm begging for something that isn't there. Blindly build a dam, destroy forests, and throw away the water (self-water source) in the area where you live and drink the water of the dam, which is called widening the water supply. Is this all right?
Regarding 2:, I think it's a human feeling. Bacteria also have the right to live. Goldfish in tap water will die. Only humans are grateful to drink. Rather, it seems to me that the chemical industry is making money on the pretext of cholera and dysentery epidemics. It is extremely common for humans to create the cause of such an epidemic. Even if I don't add chlorine uniformly, I should live wisely and stop begging for something that isn't there. Actually! In tap water, chlorine has another use. Look at the figure. At the beginning of the process, add chlorine.
Its purpose is to remove "dirt in water" anyway. Ammonia, iron, manganese, algae, organic matter --- most of the time we enter because we have polluted the water, except when it is naturally abundant. Remove it with chlorine. (Rough. I'll call you a policeman!) Especially ammonia is hard (for example, derived from stool). To remove ammonia "1", chlorine must be added "10". Trihalo and so on can already be done here. (However, when ammonia remains, the reaction between it and chlorine is prioritized, so it is difficult to make trihalo. However, since chlorine is added in excess, it can still be done.)
What should I do? ――― The Ministry of Health and Welfare is seriously trying to substitute "potassium permanganate" with the idea that "more technology should be introduced. Another drug should be used." Manganese is a fine heavy metal. Heavy metals if poisonous gas is useless! There is no exit anywhere. But I can't blame only the Ministry of Health. The exit is --- you  yet  all know.
Then, is there any treatment for tap water now? --- I will write the immediate measures.
1: First, remove chlorine --- Put it in a wide-mouthed container (it is better to make it unglazed. Do not apply strange ugly medicine.) Without the lid (If you are afraid of cockroaches, use gauze Just put the lid on.) Pump it up overnight, just overnight. Then there will be no chlorine. Boil it and drink. Trihalos fly quickly and are better water, if more heavy poison remains. If you boil the faucet water without pumping it, trihalo will increase and it will have the opposite effect.
2: Freeze the water. Water is about to freeze purely, so when 70% is frozen, it is very good to throw away 30% that is not frozen and drink it. It's good water because it doesn't have to be boiled. Please try as above. Still, ---
There is no better way to drink clean water as it is, without any ingenuity. (Also, the city people will have to be grateful to be able to drink any water.

inspired by my tags ⬆️ on this poast:
LAUNDRY STRIPPING
basickly laundry stripping is an old (ish) tiktok trend that for some reason has started appearing on my dashboard recently.
it involves soaking your clean laundry in a bathtub with hot water and a solution of borax, baking soda, and detergent, and the idea is to "deep-clean" your clothes removing detergent, fabric softener residue, body oils that have collected on your clothes over time, and other grime. the viral videos all show tubs full of opaque brownish gray water.
HOWEVER! the implicit (or sometimes explicit) message that "your washing machine isn't actually cleaning your clothes 🙀🙀🙀" or more bluntly, "your clean clothes are actually FILTHY!😵" borders on fear-mongering imo which is the part that really pisses me off. i've seen people blame everything from big detergent to fast fashion, and many people seem to swear by laundry stripping as a necessary practice, so i am here to debunk it. i am the debunker.
now i am become debunker, the debunker of bullshit.
✂️hyperfocus kicked in so the rest is under the cut✂️
TL;DR:
laundry stripping can technically help, but it only addresses a symptom rather than the cause of the problem. generally speaking, it is unnecessary if you wash your laundry correctly.
but many people don't.
so let's review:
I. AVOID UNNECESSARY ADDITIVES
softeners (including dryer sheets) and perfume (those scented pearls of waxy stuff) fuck with the properties of textiles (both natural and synthetic) and they can build up on the fibers. THAT IS NOT NECESSARILY AN ISSUE, in fact, it's what they're designed to do, but over time it can make fabrics feel less fluffy, it stops cotton from absorbing moisture (especially bad for bedding/towels), and it messes with functional fabrics (active wear etc).
if you really really want to use fabric softener, try limiting yourself to shirts and stuff. dont use it for underwear, and definitely dont use it for bedding and towels. also, try using less of it/don't use it for every load.
II. AVOID OVERDOSING
if you use too much laundry detergent, there's a chance that some of it will be left behind on your clothes even after the final rinse cycle. it can also make your clothes feel sticky and irritate your skin. more importantly though, IT WILL BUILD UP IN YOUR MACHINE, which not only damages seals and gaskets and wears out the motor, it also encourages the growth of bacteria and mold.
this is an easy fix though. apart from the fact that washing machines, like all appliances, need to be cleaned regularly, you can easily tell if you're overdosing by looking at and feeling your laundry at the end of a cycle. if there are any suds left or if the fabric feels slippery, put it through another rinse cycle and try using a little less detergent next time.
III. KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT CYCLE AND TEMPERATURE
your washing machine has multiple settings for a reason. DON'T use the same one for everything all the time and DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE HOT WATER SETTING. please please PLEASE wash your towels and bedding at higher temperatures.
okay, so afaik many american washing machines use lower temps because they depend on an external hot water source. according to google, the "hot water" setting on american washers can mean anything over 130°F (55°C), which is the minimum temp i would recommend for bedding and towels. (obviously mind the instructions on the tags, but tbh if a cotton pillowcase or towel can't be washed at hot temps, dont even buy it).
european washers usually have a built-in water heater and allow you to select a specific temperature, including a 95°C (203°F) cycle. USE THAT. i know, i know, every detergent brand has jumped on the climate change marketing bandwagon and tells you to conserve energy because their super duper laundry sauce can remove stains at ice cold temperatures, but that's exactly the problem. as a rule: the higher your water temperature, the less you depend on aggressive additives to clean your laundry. and if you have a washer that can do 95°C/203°F, it's probably a front loader and quite energy efficient to begin with.
like i said, 60°C/140°F is the minimum i would recommend for bedding/towels as well as for washcloths, cleaning rags, dish towels, etc. but do try to make use of the 95°C/203°F cycle occasionally. 60°C/140°F is also good for underwear and things that are actually dirty.
the 40°C/104°F cycle is totally fine for most other things, and if you're washing delicates or things that are just "worn" rather than dirty/sweaty/stained you can definitely do 30°C (86°F). google says this would be the "warm water" setting on american washers (=generally between 90°F/32°C and 110°F/43°C).
and tbh if it's your jam, feel free to do 20°C/68°F (="cold water") for those things. BUT NOT FOR BEDDING AND TOWELS
IV. SO WHAT ABOUT LAUNDRY STRIPPING?
you can do whatever you want forever. if your clothes feel sticky and not clean and you think you may have been overdosing your detergent or if you use a lot of fancy additives because you like mixing colorful things and miss making potions on the playground (no judgement btw) go ahead and try it.
one thing i want to say though is that in 90% of the videos i've seen about laundry stripping, the murky brown water is literally just DYE. 🥴 scorching hot water alone is more than enough to make textiles bleed color.
borax is also an irritant and laundry soaked in such a concoction is not something i would handle with my bare hands (if borax was legal in germany lol). hell, most detergents can irritate your skin, so if you decide to strip your laundry with this method, please use gloves.
V. A BETTER ALTERNATIVE
this is based on personal experience btw, im not just talking out of my ass. if you've been using a lot of additives and your clothes don't feel clean or smell weird even when they're freshly washed, try the following troubleshooting steps:
CLEAN YOUR WASHING MACHINE
DO NOT USE BLEACH AND VINEGAR! oddly enough, this seems to be the number one recommendation on many websites, but mixing bleach and vinegar creates POISONOUS CHLORINE GAS! 😐 both things can also potentially damage rubber seals/gaskets. instead, try the following:
start by manually cleaning the parts of your washing machine that are accessible from the outside. remove the detergent drawer/dispenser compartment, take it apart, and clean it with warm water. use a bit of dish soap and a sponge or an old tooth brush to get rid of stuck-on gunk.
wipe down the rubber gasket around the lid/door. this is just to remove any gunk or lint stuck in there so water should be enough, but you can use a bit of dish soap if you like
find the filter on your machine, take it out, clean it with a paper towel, and rinse it off
finally, run an empty cycle at the highest temp but add one or two tablespoons of natron/baking soda instead of laundry detergent
repeat as needed
REMOVE FABRIC SOFTENER RESIDUE FROM YOUR CLOTHES
tbh i hesitate to call it "residue" because coating the fibers of your clothes is literally the whole point of fabric softeners, but that's exactly why they can be problematic.
most fabric softeners are hydrophobic, so water alone won't do anything. instead, try soaking your clothes in lukewarm water with dish soap, which also works great for removing fabric softener stains, or simply put them through a cycle with dish soap instead of detergent. (please don't use too much though because it can produce a lot of foam🫧)
AVOID COMMON MISTAKES
try to remember the basic tips from above going forward:
avoid unnecessary additives (fabric softener, dryer sheets [the same thing basically], and laundry perfume)
less is more. don't use too much detergent. pods are gimmicky and fun and very convenient, but they don't give you much control over the amount. for liquid detergent and washing powder, stick to the instructions. also, detergent pods are a major source of microplastics.
choose the right cycle and water temperature.
VI. SECRET BONUS TIPS
not directly related to laundry stripping but useful to keep in mind:
don't overstuff your washing machine, and if you do half a load/a smaller load, adjust the amount of detergent accordingly.
if you use a tumble dryer, CLEAN THE FILTER AND LINT TRAP AFTER EVERY SINGLE LOAD FOR GOD'S SAKE. not only is it kind of desgostang to let all that hair and lint accumulate, it's also a fire risk 🔥 additionally, clean the internal filter as well as the vent hose regularly, and check for lint in the less accessible areas and behind/underneath the dryer.
don't leave zippers unzipped, but DO leave buttons unbuttoned.
this one is hard, i know, but try not to leave wet laundry in the machine for hours and hours. set a timer. not only will your clothes be wrinkly, they will also develop a funny smell very (and i mean very) quickly. if a load has been in there overnight, it probably needs to be washed again.
additionally, leave the lid/door open after a cycle to allow moisture to escape and to prevent mildew in your washing machine
finally, and i know this is gonna be controversial, but SORT YOUR LAUNDRY! 😭 it's the one necessary step that allows you to use the appropriate cycle/water temperature for different loads. color bleeding is not the only concern here, and you absolutely do not have to wash all colors separately, but separating whites from darks WILL preserve their color without the need for bleaching/lightening agents. general rule: separate whites from darks and bright colors. separate delicate fabrics from heavy denim. group things by cycle/temp. combine things like bedding and towels, or underwear and sweaty/stained clothes, and group semi-clean stuff that only needs a cold wash. i swear it's not as complicated as it sounds.
ok rant over 💕

I said I'd make incorrect quotes for this
Myléne: Of course fair-skinned people have problems.
Sabrina: Yeah, but it's the same way rich people have problems.
Adrien: What?
Sabrina: Oh no, I can't fit all my money in my pockets.
Nino: Heavens, the butler is sick. Who will apply my SPF-162 to my translucent fair skin?
Kim: Drake jokes are not light skin jokes.
Adrien: Of course they are. You're saying he's soft because he's light-skinned.
Kim: No, I'm saying he's soft because he pees with his pinky out.
Nino:*Voiceover* Another thing Black people don’t like to talk about is the gay people in their family or friend group. Take my friend, Nathaniel. He’s gay… I think. He watches a crap-ton of anime with his friend, Marc, who reads a lot of Yaoi manga, and they share custody of a cat they found, Kitty Lang. So, yeah, he’s definitely gay.
Max: White people stole our freedom. You don’t think they’ll come in here and steal my X-box?
Marinette: Well if I'm not really black, then could somebody please tell my hair and my ass?
Marc: *Leaving a store with Kiran; The store alarm goes off and he sees that he’s holding a bag. Several officers quickly surround him* Oh really?! Oh, I see, it takes you two hours to find a little black boy, and then you're here in two seconds when I accidentally steal a clutch? Well, you know what? I'm keeping it!
Alya: This ain't our culture, we're black, not African. Africans don't even like us.
Lila: Juleka, if you can handle our class’ issues with complexion, then you can handle anybody else’s.
Juleka: What issues?
Marinette: *Voiceover* If you’re wondering why this feels like an accident about to happen, it’s because colorism is something Black families really don’t like to talk about. And in this classroom? We’re family.
Lila: I just meant you’ll get used to it. You know, since we’re all a little colorist. I mean, especially Marinette.
Marinette: The hell you saying?
Lila: Oh. My bad, did you wanna be the one to break it to her?
Marc: Adrien, who has been doing your hair?
Adrien: Oh, my stylists.
Nino: White stylists hired by white daddy.
Juleka: Ah. What shampoo do you use?
Adrien: I use Tom's of Maine.
Kim: Like the state?
Adrien: No, like the toothpaste. They make a six-in-one, so it's soap, shampoo, a laundry detergent-
Marc: Okay, okay. What are we gonna do with his hair? I mean, are we twisting it? Braiding it?
Adrien: Well, I like braids like yours', but, I don't think I have enough hair.
Marc: *Pulls out some synthetic hair* Oh, don't worry about that, we've got plenty.
Adrien: Oh! Oh, no, I don't want somebody else's hair.
Juleka: What the hell do you think I have?
Adrien: So, your hair is a liar?
Juleka: Oh, I'mma hit him for real this time.
Gabriel: It is a six-in-one!
Adrien: But it doesn't work on black hair!
Nino: Straight facts.
Alya: Fucking right!
Marinette: That's tea, bitch.
Marc: I refuse to soften my tone or remove slang from my vocabulary just to be compatible with a system created on stolen land and slave labor!
Luka: Ooh, yeah. Speak on it.
Marc: I’m gonna talk how I talk, like Ryan Coogler. He’ll be on The View sound Black as fuck. Even Whoopi be confused.
Chloé: Oh, please! You think Ryan Coogler sounds the same as a cookout in East Oakland as he does in a boardroom at Disney?
Rose: You know who doesn’t code switch? Eeyore. He’s always sad.
Luka: Oh, that’s true. That donkey suffers.
Adrien: What about Jay-Z?
Marc: What about HOV?
Adrien: You’re celebrating him, and he’s the ultimate code-switcher!
Marc: Look, whatever, code-switching is corny as shit.
Adrien: I’m not corny! I’m super popular at parties and red carpet events!
Marc: Let’s dissect this, though! Why do they like you? Because you’re the light-skinned black guy white directors wanna cast in all sorts of movies as the lead so they can say, “See? We’re diverse!” You hoop? You know how to do the latest viral dance?! You do the “whoa” for them?!
Ivan: It’s about putting to rest some very ugly stereotypes… So no watermelon.
Adrien: He says you’re never supposed to say that word.
Nino: Gabriel can’t say it, ‘cause he’s of the Caucasian persuasion. But you can.
Adrien: Oh, no, no. I don’t- I definitely cannot.
Alya: Yes, you can.
Adrien: I promise you, it is not okay for me to say that word.
Nathaniel: Adrien, your dad is shitty as fuck. And worst of all, he’s been depriving you of your own culture.
Adrien: He has?
Juleka: Yes, have you ever had your hair braided?
Adrien: No.
Alix: Forced to watch a bootleg of a Tyler Perry play?
Adrien: I don’t know.
Rose: Do you prefer pumpkin pie, or sweet potato pie?
Adrien: What’s the difference?
Rose: I’m gonna slap him in the face.
Nathaniel: Your dad has not let you be Black.
Adrien: What?!
Marc: So, you’re mad at Louis because you think he thinks you can’t swim? Which you can’t.
Alix: You can’t swim?!
Nathaniel: Well, I-
Rose: Hold up. So, when we’re swimming, and you’re just dangling your feet, reading a book, supposedly life guarding us… Is that for show?
Kim: Yeah. He’s basically just there to witness your drowning.
Akuma Class: *Watching the news with their fingers crossed*
Nadja: The shooter has been described as a six foot tall…

Horanghae Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Story Summary: Everyone knows that Soonyoung loves tigers. The term Horanghae literally means “I tiger you”. Needless to say, the Seventeen members shouldn’t have been as surprised as they were the night he came home with a very timid white tiger curled against him.
Chapter Summary: After a lot of convincing, Soonyoung finally gets the greenlight to adopt you. How will you settle into your new home?
Pairing: Hoshi-centric, Seventeen x White Tiger hybrid reader.
Rating: PG
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 7k
Chapter Warnings: Slight feels in the beginning. There is a brief suggestive interaction, nothing happens just implications of nudity and Jeonghan being a tease.

You had been pacing around the small little room you had been staying in for the past few hours. Every time you heard approaching footsteps you would perk up and rush to the door, only to slump again when they kept going. Soonyoung had promised that he would be back for you but it had almost been two days now and there was no sign of him. With every person that went by your room, you began losing hope more and more. The others clearly didn’t like you so that meant he wasn’t coming. You would end up back up for adoption in a few days, placed in another home, and probably back on the street. That was the thought constantly running through your head as you paced around the room for what had to be the hundredth time.
The techs that came to evaluate your condition and bring you things had tried to reassure you that Soonyoung would come back. They told you how desperate he was when he left, how excited he had been to adopt you. Every time it was accompanied by a pat on the shoulder and a reminder to just be patient before you were left alone yet again. You tried to be patient, you really did want to believe he would come back, but it was getting harder with every passing second.
With a defeated sigh you collapsed down onto the cot, sitting with your back to the wall as you stared at the door. The only other sound other than the occasional chatter or footsteps from the hall was the quiet ticking of the clock on the wall. It was getting late and the shelter would be closing in about an hour. By this point, you had accepted the fact that Soonyoung wouldn’t be coming for you, at least not today.
You couldn’t help the whimper that escaped your throat as you curled up on the small cot. Your tail wrapped around yourself and your ears pressed back into your head as you tried to relax yourself. Eventually, you dragged yourself under the blanket they had provided you and laid down with your back to the door. At some point, a worker had entered your room to check up on you but you ignored her as she quickly checked your vitals and set a spare blanket at the edge of the cot before turning off the light and leaving you alone. You were able to count the minutes with the ticking of the clock as all sounds from outside practically ceased. Only the distant whistling of a security guard as he made his rounds through the halls and the front lobby. All of the other workers have probably gone home for the night. That was the confirmation you needed that the shelter was closed and the last shred of hope you had for the night had vanished.
You whimpered again and curled up on yourself, gripping the blanket desperately and nuzzling your face into it. The fabric was soft enough but the scent was synthetic, only smelling like the cheap detergent they used to wash it. There was no comforting scent of another person so you couldn’t trick yourself into thinking someone was there with you. No one was there to cuddle you close and pet you as you fell asleep.
Somehow this was worse than being on the street. After spending the night with Soonyoung and finally feeling love and affection made you crave it, only for it to be taken from you. Now you were alone again and stuck with the promise that he would come back to you, but no guarantee that he could keep that promise. Still, you couldn’t bring yourself to be mad at him, just upset at the thought of being alone again.
“Soonyoung,” you whispered as you curled up on yourself, “please come back.”
Tumblr media
Little did you know, if the other members hadn’t been holding Soonyoung back he would have dashed out the door to get to you the moment he woke up. Seventeen had been debating the pros and cons of adopting a hybrid all day and still hadn’t come to an agreement by the time the sunset. It seemed the group was divided 50/50 on the matter and the male in question was about ready to rip his hair out from pure frustration. You were probably so scared by yourself and the thought alone pulled at his heartstrings in a way he hadn’t known was possible. His frustration was evident to the other members by his lack of energy, sulking, and refusing to talk to them until they came to an agreement about adopting you.
“Soonyoung,” Cheol called out as he knocked on his door, “dinners ready, come down and eat.” The younger was pouting on his bed and refused to look at his leader as he shook his head.
“I’m not hungry,” he muttered. Seungcheol sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose as he walked into the room.
“Look, I know you’re upset about this whole thing but sulking isn’t going to help anyone. We can’t just make a huge decision like this in a day,” he tried to reason. In the back of his mind, Soonyoung knew he was right but that didn’t mean he agreed with it.
“I don’t see why we need to take so long to talk about it,” he argued, “I already explained everything so what other reason do you need?”
“You’re not the only one that lives here you know?” Seungcheol argued, “you’re not only expecting the rest of us to agree with adopting and taking care of a hybrid, but also to get along with her. That’s not exactly fair to the other members, you know?”
“It’s not like she’s a full tiger I’m sure she could take care of herself if needed,” Soonyoung rebutted, “and it’s not impossible for her to get along with everyone. Shua, Mingyu, and Jun seemed to get along with her just fine. I’m sure you would too but you won’t even get her a chance.”
“How can you be so sure? You only met her last night.”
“I just know okay?!” Soonyoung exclaimed, “there’s something about her and I know that we could be the perfect home for her if you guys would just listen!” It seemed the two were either taking too long with their argument or Soonyoung was being too loud as a knock on the door grabbed both their attention.
“Are you guys really still arguing about that tiger hybrid?” Jihoon asked as he poked his head in the door. Their silence gave him the answer he needed as he rolled his eyes and invited himself in, “Isn’t this argument getting a little childish? Everyone’s had time to think about it and is down in the kitchen right now, why don’t we just talk about it there and get it over with instead of dragging it out?” The two older remained silent for a minute, glancing at each other and back at Jihoon before nodding softly.
“Fair enough, let’s go,” Seungcheol said as he made his way to the door. Jihoon groaned softly and was about to follow him out when Soonyoung stopped him.
“What do you think about it?” he asked. The younger paused for a moment before shaking his head.
“As idols, we are way too busy to give her the attention she needs, even if she does take care of herself. I won’t say I’m against a hybrid living with us but you do need to realize she is going to want our attention and what’s going to happen when we go on tour or travel for schedules? If you’re sure you can handle that then who am I to say no?” With that he followed Cheol out of the room, making Soonyoung ponder everything before walking out after them. He understood what Jihoon was saying, but he knew they could give you a good home and would deal with those challenges as they came. Soonyoung was stubborn and he wasn’t going to back down until he got the members to agree with him.
After a very long, and semi-heated, discussion between the members during dinner, there was a 9-4 vote in favor of adopting you. Soonyoung practically flew out of his chair when the agreement was reached, squealing in excitement and hugging the ones closest to him. Needless to say, he wouldn’t be sleeping at all that night, much too eager for morning to come so he could get to the shelter and finish the adoption process.
The members had established a few set rules beforehand, not knowing how you would adjust to them or the new home. The most important rule was to be gentle while you were settling in, be nice but don’t crowd or overwhelm you. You would also stay with Soonyoung in his room since they didn’t have a spare room and it felt unfair to condemn you to the living room. Maybe sometime down the road, you would be comfortable sharing a room with one of the others but until then you would stay with Soonyoung. Everything else could be established once you got settled in a bit. Some of the members went out early the next morning to go shopping for you mutually agreeing on things you would need and wanting as many to participate as possible so you felt welcome. The only thing they hadn’t agreed on was a collar, knowing it was a requirement for adopted hybrids but figuring they would use a basic one until they figured out what you liked. It wasn’t like you would be going out enough in the beginning to need one.
Cheol once again accompanied Soonyoung to the shelter to make sure everything got done properly, Joshua deciding to tag along as well just for fun. The oldest was still a bit apprehensive about adopting a hybrid but seeing everyone else's excitement he knew he couldn’t argue anymore. Hopefully, your presence would grow on him as it seemed to with all the others.
Tumblr media
You were startled awake by a knocking on your door, glancing up to see the same tech from yesterday staring at you with a gentle smile. “Sorry for waking you but come on Y/N, it’s time for you to go home.” You were confused for a moment before you processed what she said, shooting up from the cot and glancing at her hopefully. You were going home? Did that mean that Soonyoung had come back for you like he said? The tech nodded and you all but dashed out of the room, the tech laughing as she ran to keep up with you.
The second you saw Soonyoung standing in the lobby, you squealed and ran over to him. He only had a second to react before you were throwing yourself into his arms, hugging him tightly and nuzzling into his neck. “You came back,” you mumbled, inhaling his scent and smiling softly. Soonyoung giggled and hugged you back just as tightly, bending over a bit to hold you properly.
“I promised you I would,” he replied, bringing a hand up to pet through your hair softly. You hummed softly and hugged him a bit tighter, looking up when you heard soft chucking. The tech had turned her attention to Joshua since Soonyoung was occupied and Seungcheol was waiting over by the door.
“This is a temporary collar and a copy of her files. We will check-in after about a week to see how she’s settling in but otherwise feel free to call with any health or behavior concerns. You guys should be all set to go!” she explained. Joshua took everything and thanked her before moving over to you and Soonyoung.
“Come on you two, we should go home and get you settled in,” you smiled softly at him and nodded, letting go of Soonyoung and following the three to the car. The whole time Seungcheol was quiet and wouldn’t even look in your direction. He closed the door to the car as soon as you got in and got in the driver's seat, not acknowledging you and talking to Joshua during the drive. It made you a bit nervous as you looked at him before turning to Soonyoung who was sitting next to you.
“Did I do something wrong? He doesn’t seem to like me,” you whispered, pointing to Seungcheol. He glanced where you were pointing before sighing.
“Don’t worry about Seungcheol okay?” he whispered back, “he’s just a bit stressed but I’m sure he’ll warm up to you eventually, just be patient.” He scratched behind your ear softly but frowned when that didn’t seem to assure you at all, “Hey don’t worry okay? It may take a bit for some of the guys to open up to you but we’re all excited to have you live with us and I know they will all love you just as much as I do.” You still weren’t completely convinced but didn’t say anything, leaning into his hand and closing your eyes. Hopefully, he was right, though now you had to deal with the nerves that came from meeting 12 other guys.
“Hey Y/N?” Joshua called out softly to get your attention, “we have a few guys at the store getting a few things for you so is there anything you like or want specifically? Anything you need? Do you also happen to know what clothing size you wear?” You hummed a bit and glanced around as you thought about it. You never really had anyone ask if you wanted something specific, just always taking what you were given, so you didn’t know.
“I don’t really know,” you confessed, “I’ve never really had anyone shop for me so just whatever’s essential I guess? Also last time I checked my size was (size).” You saw his expression fall for a second before he was quickly smiling and nodding at you again.
“Once you get settled we can take you to go pick out things yourself. These are just going to be the basics so you can be comfortable,” he explained as he looked down at his phone. You briefly heard him mutter something about, “how have you never gone shopping?” but quickly tuned him out. You just hummed out a small thank you before turning your attention to the window for the rest of the ride. Seungcheol and Joshua made light small talk and Soonyoung occasionally glanced over at you to make sure you were doing alright before returning his attention to his phone. He knew this whole thing would probably be strange and a bit stressful for you but he didn’t want to overwhelm you.
You and Soonyoung got out of the car first once you guys arrived back at the dorm, the male wrapping an arm around your shoulders as you walked to the door with Joshua and Seungcheol not too far behind.
“They’re still out shopping and Jihoon went to the studio for a bit so it should just be a few that are home right now,” Joshua stated which made Soonyoung sigh in relief. That meant you could settle in a bit before having to introduce yourself to everyone. Just as expected, it was significantly quieter when you guys entered as most of the guys were out. You looked around the now empty living room while the other three put their stuff away, cautiously walking to the middle of the room and glancing around. You were curious but not sure what you were and were not allowed to do so you decided to play it safe. Joshua seemed to notice this as he chuckled softly while walking over to you, “You can look around Y/N, it’s your home too so don’t be shy.”
“Just please be careful not to break anything,” Seungcheol muttered. The two other males glanced at him as he excused himself to his room, sighing softly when they heard the door close. They tried to play it off but you knew now that he didn’t like you. Soonyoung saw the way your ears and expression dropped and immediately began to panic.
“Hey now, ignore him okay? We don’t need his sour attitude ruining our fun,” he cooed, moving to cup your face in his hands. He squished your cheeks a bit which made you giggle and caused him to smile in return, “there we go, good girl! Smile for us!” When you laughed again he mirrored the action and let go of you, Joshua laughing as well at the cute sight.
“Since no ones really here right now, why don’t we give you a mini tour?” he suggested, “then you can get settled and try to relax a bit.” You nodded and he gave you a gentle pat on the shoulder, “So obviously this is the living room, we also play a lot of games here in our free time. The kitchen as you know is right through that opening. You can help yourself to anything that doesn’t have a name on it okay? Just try to keep it clean and ask one of us if you need help getting anything. We don’t need you getting hurt.” You followed him and Soonyoung down the hall, listening to the names he said with each room they passed. Hopefully, when they arrived you could start putting faces to their names and learn everyone quicker if you already had an idea. “This is my room,” Joshua stopped to open one of the middle doors and let you peek inside, “if you ever need something and Soonyoung is busy you can come to find me. Or if I’m busy you can always go to my room and wait for me okay?” When you let out a small hum of confirmation he smiled and reached up to scratch behind your ear. “You like being pet don’t you?” he asked teasingly when you pushed against his hand.
“I’m not too used to it but it feels nice,” you answered, “my ears and tail are especially sensitive.”
“I’ll be sure to remember that,” Joshua mused, patting your head. He quickly showed you the last few rooms before leaving you and Soonyoung to get everything set up in his room. “If you need anything you guys know where to find me, and the others should be back soon,” he said as he closed the door and left you two alone.
“You’re going to be staying in here with me, I had to rearrange a few things but you’ll have half of the closest space and the bottom drawers of the dresser to put your stuff. If we need more space we can work on that. You have full access to the TV and can borrow my phone and laptop when you need and of course, whatever else you need is yours. We’re going to be sharing the bed if that’s okay?”
“Yeah of course,” you said, taking a seat on the bed and glancing up at him. You had already shared a bed with Soonyoung and you were comfortable with him, also his room was nice and you already were getting way more than you were used to. Though you were nervous given factors like your heat, you suppose you would have to tackle that when you came. Thankfully tigers didn’t go into heat as often as other hybrids and it didn’t last very long, but that didn’t make it a pleasant experience. You wondered if the guys had been briefed on all of that when they filled out the adoption paperwork. Whether he did or not, Soonyoung was so excited and caring that you couldn’t bring yourself to tell him your concerns. He smiled and laughed a bit, turning on the TV and handing you the remote.
“Put it on whatever you want! I’m still trying to reorganize a few things so just ignore me okay?” you glanced at the remote as if it was a foreign object before starting to flip through random channels. None of the shows seemed familiar to you so you just flipped through until you found something that seemed even remotely interesting. Though your focus was on Soonyoung mostly as he reorganized some of his drawers and pushed a few things around.
Tumblr media
You two stayed like that for a little over an hour, Soonyoung eventually joining you on the bed as you got hooked on this random drama you managed to stumble on. You had moved to lay on your stomach, moments from falling asleep when a knock at the door startled you up. You perked up and glanced at the door as it opened and a male you don’t remember seeing before poked his head in.
“We’re back,” he practically sang, “figured we would just bring everything up here so you could go through it?” You couldn’t see Soonyoung but you assumed he nodded as the male opened the door and let himself in with two others right behind him. They all had multiple bags hanging off their arms and it seemed there were, even more, they couldn’t carry. Your eyes widened as you watched the pile of bags stack up until you were sure you could bury yourself in it.
“Did you guys buy the whole store or something?” Soonyoung asked, standing up and kicking through some of the bags.
“We may have gone a bit overboard, had to practically drag Minghao out of the clothing store or he would have bought everything,” the other teased, getting one of the bags thrown at him by who you assumed was Minghao.
“She has no clothes, it’s only fair to get her a variety,” said male argued before looking at you, “we got a few different sizes and styles just to be safe so you’ll have to try it all on and tell us what you think okay?” His tone was soft, kind of like Joshua's but a bit higher and you would have found his voice and expression relaxing if you weren’t overwhelmed with the situation. It seemed Soonyoung read your mind, or he could tell by your expression, but he was immediately getting into protective mode.
“You guys need to calm down, you didn’t even introduce yourselves yet and you’re throwing all this new stuff on her!” he scolded. They all froze and stared between the two of you a bit before laughing awkwardly.
“Sorry guess we got a little too excited,” the first one set the bags down and kneeled down in front of you with a smile, “Hi cutie, I’m Jeonghan! The one with the glasses is Minghao, and behind him is Seungkwan.” They both waved at you and you relaxed a bit as you looked at them and back at Jeonghan. He tilted his head and held his hand out for you, causing you to blink curiously at him before gently taking his hand. It was significantly larger than yours but his touch was soft and his skin was warm. He seemed happy that you were opening up to him and squeezed your hand a bit before gently letting you go. “I’m sure we’ll get along great!” he said as he turned to look through the bags, “did you want us to help you go through everything, or did you want to do it yourselves?”
“You can stay,” you agreed when Soonyoung glanced at you, “it looks like a lot of stuff and I need to get used to all of you guys, right?” They all seemed to chuckle at that but Minghao and Seungkwan happily moved to kneel down beside Jeonghan. You and Soonyoung remained on the bed as they went through the bags and showed you everything they got for you. Enough pillows and blankets to make a whole new bed, as well as a stuffed tiger they had to get because it “reminded us of you.” Necessities like your own toothbrush, shampoo, and towels that you swore were soft enough to be blankets. Clothes in every style, design, and color that you could imagine, sorting through taking longer than normal because Minghao had to hold them up to you and gush about how cute they would look. Seungkwan joined in as well with some of the items he chose until the two were talking about styling you as if you were a department store mannequin. The attention made you a bit flustered but you couldn’t deny that it also felt nice having people gush over you like this. The last few things were simple activities and toys designed for cat hybrids so you would have things to do when they were away. The three stayed long enough to help organize and put most of your new things away before excusing themselves to relax and do their own things before dinner. You thanked all of them for the stuff and their help, getting to work nuzzling against your blankets, pillows, and tiger plushie to scent them properly. You would probably sneak them around the members to get their scent as well but for now, this would do.
Tumblr media
After a few days of getting used to your new home and new owners, you were starting to get used to everything. By now you had met everyone at least once and were getting used to their personalities, making mental notes and observations about all of them to remember who was who. There was still a lot to get used to but at least now you could distinguish everyone and not just Soonyoung.
Seungcheol was the oldest and their leader, though you still didn’t fully understand what that meant. He seemed kind of strict and a bit cold with you but you noticed he seemed really sweet and caring the more you watched him with the others.
Jeonghan is very playful and does a lot of joking and teasing. He was one of the more affectionate ones with you, always calling you pet names and giving you hugs and pets no matter what form you were in.
Joshua is also playful but a bit more calm than Jeonghan. He was always checking in on you to make sure you were okay and also loved giving you head pats. You also got to hear him play the guitar once and fell in love with the sound.
Jun seemed a bit wary of you at times but was still nice and never said no to affection or even playing. You also learned he was from China and he told you a few things about his home and even taught you a few simple Chinese words.
Wonwoo was one you had only met once but it was just in passing. He had never said anything to you and never seemed to be around. The members told you he was just more reserved and that he would warm up to you eventually so you didn’t push the matter.
Jihoon was another one you had only met once or twice but he seemed nice enough. He seemed to physically avoid you but didn’t mind your presence and even showed you a song he was working on one night.
Seokmin was extremely loud and seemed to play around a lot with the members. You were a bit wary of him just because of how loud he got sometimes but he was funny and seemed to keep his distance.
Mingyu loved having you around and was another member that was happy to give you attention. He loved to play with you and pet you and even let you help him cook dinner one night. Though he was also really big which was kind of intimidating, he really liked to pat your head and tell you how small you were or just rest his arms on your head to be funny.
Minghao was quieter but you had seen him joke around a few times. He wasn’t the most affectionate but he would pet you occasionally and let you spend time with him while he worked. He loved dressing you up when you would cooperate and helped teach you a few Chinese phrases alongside Jun.
Seungkwan was nice but also really sassy which confused you a bit. There were moments where he was squeezing your cheeks and cooing at you like you were the cutest thing, then there were moments where he was overly teasing or seemed to not want you around. You just decided to let him come to you rather than try to bug him for attention.
Vernon scared you a little bit at first but after a bit he got you to open up to him. You found his antics quite funny and your interactions could go from listening to music together to playing random games he made up.
Lastly, there was Chan, though the only thing you knew about him was that he was the youngest member of the group. You saw him for maybe a second before he was hiding away again and part of you wondered if he was avoiding you.
You had also learned that what Soonyoung meant when he said they were idols was that they performed in a group together. He explained to you that they were in a group called Seventeen and, while they were on a mini break right now, they were usually out for most of the day recording or at practice. You had pouted a bit when you realized this meant you would be alone a lot when they went back to work but you said you understood. You were just happy to have a home so you weren’t going to argue about them being gone.
You were in your tiger form napping in the little nest you had created by the living room window. It was one of your favorite spots as there was a perfect amount of sun that shone through during the day. A perfectly warm and bright spot for you to rest, made complete by one of the thicker blankets the guys got you and a collection of pillows. One of the ones they got you, a spare you found in the closet, and one you stole from the couch so you had something that smelled like the guys. You were nuzzling against that pillow currently, stretched out on your side and enjoying the remaining warmth as the sun started to set. Most of the members were in their rooms or out doing their own thing but there were a few in the kitchen. You couldn't make out what they were staying but you could hear voices and could only assume they were arguing over dinner again. More specifically, whether they would cook or order out and who was in charge of dinner. That seemed to be a common occurrence from what you could tell.
As you were slowly being brought back to reality, you felt someone petting your side which successfully woke you up. Opening your eyes, you saw Jeonghan smiling down at you, tickling your side a bit which made you jerk.
“Good morning Sunshine,” he teased with a laugh, “we’re thinking about doing takeout and having a movie night tonight, what do you think?” You blinked up at him before stretching and lifting your head so you could nod at him. It was awkward communicating with them as a tiger but you didn’t want to make him wait while you went to shift and grab something to wear. Jeonghan seemed to understand your answer though as he chuckled and scratched under your chin, “I knew you would like the idea.” You made a chuffing noise as you shuffled closer to him, not really caring about what he was saying as you just wanted him to keep petting you. Jeonghan got the hint and wrapped an arm around you in a hug, using both hands to gently scratch your face and parts of your neck. You closed your eyes and leaned most of your weight against him which made him laugh more, “Aww look at my pretty Baby. She likes being scratched like this, doesn’t she? You’re so soft and sweet I could cuddle you all day.” He laid against you dramatically as he continued muttering praises before eventually letting go. “I have to go talk with the guys about dinner now but we can cuddle more later okay? You can join us if you want of course,” with that he was giving you one last hug and walking back to the kitchen. You watched him for a moment before getting up and making your way to yours and Soonyoungs room. That was one of the few rules that had been set, that you could not be in the kitchen in tiger form as your fur got in the way. Fair enough since you preferred your natural form anyways unless resting so you quickly went to shift and get dressed before joining the group in the kitchen.
Jeonghan was there with Joshua, Jihoon, and Soonyoung, all of them looking over the phone and discussing what they should order. Something about debating if they should just get a large amount and share or get individual orders for everyone. Soonyoung noticed you first and smiled as he waved you over, “Hey Y/N, did you come to help us figure out dinner?” You walked over to them and nodded softly, tugging at the sleeves of your sweater.
“Jeonghan woke me up and then left me, I got lonely,” you whined with a pout. The male in question pouted back and grabbed you to pull you into a hug, your back against his chest and his chin resting on your head with his arms around your waist.
“I promised we’d cuddle later silly, but I’d rather you help us with dinner first,” he said, peeking over at you to poke your cheek, “you took a while so I didn’t know if you were coming.”
“You guys said I wasn’t allowed in the kitchen as a tiger, so I had to go switch,” you argued.
“Why don’t you switch when we’re around?” Soonyoung asked. It was an innocent question but you still felt your face heating up and you stumbled over your words as you tried to explain it.
“Well umm, clothes don’t really fit my tiger form so when I switch between them I’m not, you know, wearing anything…” you practically whispered the last part and hid your face in your hands. There was silence in the room as the boy's faces soon matched your red shade, Soonyoung shaking his head to distract from the thought.
“I’m sorry I asked,” he muttered. From behind you, you could feel and hear Jeonghan chuckle.
“Quite convenient,” he joked, yelping when Joshua hit him on the arm, “I mean that’s good to know. I mean-” he cut himself off when the other three started glaring him down. You sunk out of his grip and fell to the floor with your face hidden in your hands, wishing the floor would swallow you whole. Jeonghan stuttered a bit and laughed nervously before glancing down at you, unable to say anything as Joshua had already kneeled down and put a hand on your shoulder.
“He’s an idiot Y/N, ignore him,” he whispered, pulling your hands from your face and smiling softly at you as he helped you up. Jihoon interrupted the now awkward tension by clearing his throat.
“Anyways, can we talk about dinner now?” he asked with a tone of sarcasm. Everyone agreed and they proceeded with ordering take out, you not contributing much and hiding behind Joshua for a majority of the time. Though you did help when the food arrived, helping Soonyoung and Jihoon bring in the bags and set everything up while Joshua and Jeonghan worked on setting the living room up for the movie night. For the first time since you had gotten there, Jihoon showed physical affection to you by patting your head in appreciation once all of the food was laid out. Some of the members started joining you as well when they heard the commotion, either helping as well or just standing in the way asking when everything would be ready.
You watched from the corner as all the members came and got their food before taking their seats, some of them greeting you while a few didn’t seem to notice you were there. Your tail wrapped around your leg and you bit your lip, still feeling a bit awkward around all of them when Soonyoung called out for you. “What do you want to eat?” he asked, already working on a plate for you when you walked over. “There’s more than enough so whatever you want,” he added when he sensed hesitation from you. Some of these foods were still a bit new to you so you just went with the safe option and got a small amount of everything so you could try it. Hopefully, if you liked it there would be enough left for you to have more.
Once Soonyoung got his food he had you follow him to the living room, making a spot for the both of you on the couch. Minghao was on your other side with Jihoon next to Soonyoung and the rest of the members gathering around in the other seats or with pillows on the floor. You felt a bit bad about that and offered to give up your spot but both the males beside you assured you it was fine.
The members ended up playing an odd version of rock paper scissors to determine who would choose the first movie with Seokmin winning. You didn’t pay attention to the game since you didn’t really care about what you watched, more focused on your food. It was also hard for you to focus with all of the banter and comments from the members on what was happening on screen. Soonyoung didn’t let you feel left out though as he was constantly looking over at you and asking what you thought. Minghao joined in occasionally to comment on what was happening or point out something to you from a visual perspective. Both boys also shared bites of their food with you when they realized you had run out, feeding you smaller bites until you turned your head away. The first movie ended and Seungkwan got to choose the second while some of the members began cleaning up from dinner, some of them also calling it a night and going to bed. You tried to pay attention to the movie but you also felt yourself growing tired. Your eyes began fluttering and your body swaying as you tried to stay awake. Minghao noticed and chuckled softly.
“Tired?” he whispered, you shook your head but a yawn immediately after gave you away. Minghao smiled and shook his head, reaching over you to tap at Soonyoung. The older got the hint the second he looked at you and gently guided you to lay against him. Both males shuffled around a bit until you were in a more comfortable position. Your head was resting in Sooyoung's lap and his hand gently playing with your hair as he focused back on the movie. Your legs were lifted up onto Minghaos so you were properly laying down, one of his hands resting on your knee and the other cautiously moving to stroke your tail. You twitched when he first touched it which made him pull away in fear he did something wrong but then you wrapped it gently around his wrist, allowing him to pet the fur softly. The sensation of both males petting you combined with Soonyoungs warmth and scent had you drifting off almost immediately, burying your head against his legs. They both smiled down at you fondly and glanced at each other before returning their attention to the movie.
Occasionally, when there was a louder noise, you would stir but never fully woke up. Even when the movie ended and the boys started moving around you stayed asleep. Though Soonyoung shushed the members when they started talking to ask if they wanted to watch another movie, gesturing down at you when they looked at him.
“I think someone's ready for bed,” Joshua whispered. Soonyoung nodded, starting to move you into a position where he could carry you without waking you, struggling a bit to get your tail unwrapped from Minghao.
“I think I’m going to take her to bed,” he whispered back as he managed to grab you and stand up, “you guys have a good night.”
“You’re not going to come back?” Jun asked, to which the younger shook his head.
“I’m tired anyways and I would hate to wake her,” with that he bid a good night to the other members and gently carried you back to your room. As carefully and quietly as possible, he closed the door and set you down on your side of the bed so he could get changed and ready for bed himself. You didn’t even flinch when he turned off the light and got into bed beside you, cuddling you against his chest and tucking you both in. “Goodnight Y/N, sleep well,” he whispered, kissing your head softly before closing his eyes to drift off as well.

The global zeolites market size is estimated to be USD 12.1 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach USD 14.1 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 3.1% between 2021 and 2026, owing to an increase in demand of zeolites in detergent industry. The construction & building materials segment is the biggest application for natural zeolites. The rising demand for lightweight concrete material in the construction industry is expected to drive the use of natural zeolites.
