Alright, I’m pretty sure we’ve figured out who in the system is regressing/age sliding.

We currently have no syskids, although he do have a systeen so not quite a little but still a child. Adri is more of a kitten regressor than an age regressor. I mean he’s an actual catboy so it’s to be expected he’d have times where they’re more cat than boy.

L has definitely been regressing, he can’t get shit done when he’s tired or feeling sick/sore because he just slips further and further down in age. I always have to step in and take over when that happens.

I think I might be sliding every so often, not very far only a few years. I’m currently 20 but there’s times I genuinely forget that and still think I’m in highschool. I straight up woke up the other day and went “shit I have school tomorrow” before realising nope, been out of school for 3 years.

If there’s any more ppl in the sys that are regressing/sliding then they’re bloody good at hiding it because I think that’s it. So from here on out L, Adri and I will be running this blog. I’m mainly acing as the caregiver and watching over them though.

These are remakes of the flags, Sysadult, Systeen, Syskid. Being the current ones are kinda, saturated and hurts our head a bit.

Alter age flags

Infant or baby and toddler alter/little

No particularly meaningful colors behind these, I mostly just based the baby and child alter flags off of the colors that stuff made fo baby and kids are. The rest are mostly just supposed to look like version "aged" of the first 2

Here’s some positivity for systeens, systweens, and system middles!

Often in spaces, content, and conversations surrounding system littles, older syskids tend to get left out of the discussion. But systeens/tweens, middles, and older littles are still syskids and they’re still important members of their system and the plural community! This post is for all the system middles!

If you’re a middle who enjoys toys, movies, games, and other things geared towards a younger audience or intended for kids younger than you, we want to remind you that it’s perfectly fine to enjoy these things! Liking stuff meant for younger kids doesn’t invalidate you or your age in any way - it isn’t “cringey,” weird, or creepy, and you’re allowed to enjoy things meant for younger kids without feeling any guilt or shame!

If you’re a middle who enjoys things with mature themes or geared more towards adults, we want to let you know that this is okay too! It’s perfectly fine to be curious about or enjoy things with suggestive or violent themes, to get excited about things other kids might find boring, or to do things that are normally just for adults! Enjoying things meant for adults doesn’t make you any less of a kid and it doesn’t make you a bad person! It’s okay to be yourself and just like the things you like!

For all you middles struggling to find yourself and figure out where you belong, we’re wishing you the very best on your journey! It’s okay to take a lot of time learning about yourself and trying to understand where you fit in the world and your system. It’s okay if sometimes you feel younger and more vulnerable while other times you feel older and stronger! We hope you can have fun experimenting with hobbies, activities, causes, aesthetics, and other things as you learn more about yourself!

For age sliders who are sometimes middles, yes, this post is for you too! You are allowed to exist just the way you are - there’s nothing wrong with only being a middle occasionally! You still count as a syskid as long as you’d like to call yourself that, and you will always be welcome in our spaces just the way you are! It’s okay if your wants and tastes fluctuates with your age. It’s okay if you sometimes feel nervous, confused, or like you don’t belong! However, we promise that you absolutely do belong, and you don’t have to change one bit in order to be accepted here!

Whether you’re a middle who wants to grow up, who wishes they were younger, or who is happy being the age they are, we want you to remember that you are cherished and loved, both by the rest of your system and the plural community as a whole! And we consider ourselves so lucky to be able to share this space with you. Please try to take it easy and treat yourself with kindness in the future. Know that we believe in you and we’re rooting for you! You have a bright future ahead of you and we’re wishing you the very best!

yeah caretakers and sys parents are cool, but shout out to system babysitters fr. the systeens who for some reason are trusted to take care of the other middles and littles for a few hours at a time. who definitely should not be trusted with that job because they only cause marginally less chaos. you’re all saints fr.
