Let me introduce myself :) My name’s Zephyros (like the greek god Ζέφυρος, I prefer using a fun nickname instead of my real name🙂) and I'm from Italy. I’m very interested in learning tarot, astrology and traditions from around the world. I also like psychology and languages, maybe I'll do some post about languages I'm learning, mainly Latin and Ancient Greek. I also want to post here translation of Italian contents since I know a lot of people who want to learn more about Italian Witchcraft and traditions but don’t speak Italian and aren’t able to read good books that aren’t in English. If you have any request of a subject you would like me to do a little research on you can message me, but I will decide depending on the topic so don’t assume every request will be done. Faz um tempo que vi um exercício de tarot no YouTube que consistia em dividir o baralho em três grupos - Cartas da Corte, Arcanos Menores de 1 a 10 e Arcanos Maiores - e montar histórias a partir dessas cartas, como se as cartas da corte fossem os personagens, os arcanos menores as ações e os maiores, os temas e situações.

A partir disso, criei esta tiragem de três cartas que pode ser usada diariamente e para consultas objetivas sobre vários assuntos. Como no exercício, você deve começar dividindo o baralho nos três grupos que citei e então embaralhe cada montinho separadamente. Depois de embaralhar cada um e mentalizar sua situação ou pergunta, retire (da forma que achar melhor) uma carta de cada montinho com as seguintes posições:

1. Personalidade ou comportamento a focar nessa situação: Retire uma Carta da Corte e reflita sobre a personalidade e comportamento desse personagem e como ele pode te ajudar.

2. Ação a focar nessa situação: Retire um Arcano Menor de 1 (às) a 10. Essa carta mostrará que ações você deve focar e/ou realizar na situação questionada. Pense em como a personalidade da carta 1 pode ajudar (ou dificultar) essa ação.

3. Energia a focar nessa situação: Retire um Arcano Maior. Essa carta simboliza a energia maior por trás da situação, as influências e tendências. Pode ser também a lição maior que você precisa aprender. Pense em como essa carta caracteriza a relação entre as cartas 1 e 2.

Gosto deste método porque você usa uma carta de cada categoria de uma forma clara e objetiva. Claro que não existe a “tiragem perfeita”. Experimente-a com suas cartas e veja se ela é boa para você. O importante é seguir sua intuição sempre e ouvir o que as cartas lhe dizem.

We live in a time of real global anxiety. Every day, there is the news is offering something else to fear. It is really to our benefit not to watch too much news.

Even as I write this morning, the worst mass shooting in USA has just taken place in Las Vegas.

The planet seems so messy. It seems as a whole we are somehow unable to cultivate peace that on a personal level we seek so enthusiastically.

And yet, that’s all we can do. In our own lifetime, to attempt to bring inner peace to ourselves, rather than to live in anxiety. We can nurture a way towards inner peace the best we can. Acceptance of others, and forgiveness.

That old cliche, to ‘be the change we wish to see in the world’ is the only answer for us. It’s the only thing we can do to improve our life and the lives of those around us. It might not solve world problems, but if everyone did it, it would. SO it’s time for us to do our best...

The Fool - Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot Deck . The whole Fool card is a glyph of the Creative Light which is Dark Energy and unseen by the naked eye. The design of the Thoth Fool card represents many mythological explanations : The Thoth Deck Fool, has the horns of Dionysus Zagreus, and between them is the phallus cone of white light---indicating the influence of Kether-Crown, upon him. His background is Air, drawing from Space and his attitude is that of one bursting unexpectedly on the world. A good simile for Time. He is clad in the Green of Spring and wears the Phallic gold shoes of the Sun. In his right hand is the Wand tipped in a pyramid of white---simulating Kether. In his left hand is the flaming pine-cone, indicating vegetable growth under the same Fiery influence of the White light, as well as the Grecian cone topped Wand of Dionysus-the Thyrsus. From his left shoulder, hangs a bunch of bagged grapes, representing sweetness, fertility and the basis for ecstasy (Ecstasy gave birth to the Universe); shown by the stem of the grapes forming into rainbow hued spirals; The form of the Universe as a collective. Upon this spiral whorl are other attributions of the "godhead"; the vulture of Maut, the dove of Venus (Mari, or Isis) and the sacred ivy of the Devotees of the Green Man. There is also a buttery fly of many-coloured air, a symbol for the Soul and the winged globe with its twin-serpents, which is echoed by the twin infants embracing on the middle spiral. Above is the benediction of three flowers in one (Kether, Chokmah, Binah). The tiger (fear) is fawning unnoticed on his leg. And beneath his feet runs the Nile with lotus stems and a crouching crocodile (Sebek).
