Omega when she gets to jail and realizes that she now has to big sister four other children. One of which is nowhere near her age.

Going to try and condense some more serious thoughts about these episodes down below so I can avoid spoiling someone as much as possible and not post a dozen times. I don’t want to miss tag any one of those.

Jex/Jek?? I can’t completely remember his name, but the mirialan kid is for sure not going to trust her at all. Can’t say much for the pantoran kid since they haven’t shown much of them so far, but Eva is going to love her.

I think the mirialan kid is definitely going to be skeptical of Omega’s prior knowledge of the facility, Emerie, and why they’re there. Although he might overlook these things hanging on her promise that her brothers will get her, and in turn them, out of there. I can’t help but wonder what Omega and the others will think after about a week and there still not being a rescue. (These two are assuming that she will be placed with the other force sensitive children. Although she may be moved since her blood actually works for project Necromancer)

Crosshair is definitely going to hear it from Hunter. ESPECIALLY after he threw Hunter’s past failure to keep her out of Tantiss in his face. What I think will weigh on his conscience more though is the fact he thinks she’ll be alone this time. In a way she definitely will, but I have no doubt that he realizes he was probably the highlight of her day. He was probably the one thing that kept her hopeful even if he tried to talk down on her and get her to leave. Yes, she had hope that Hunter and Wrecker would find her, but she also needed someone there with her. A familiar face and not someone who just revealed they were your sister out of the blue. Her situation has changed, but Crosshair doesn’t know that. The Crosshair guilt is going to be so real in these last episodes.

Switching gears, CX agents are always a cool and interesting topic for me. While the identity of CX-2 isn’t usually as engaging, I have to say that I’ve drifted from the standpoint of “there’s no way that’s Tech” to “it’s a possibility” over the course of the last two episodes. I’ve seen some fun ideas for who it is otherwise. Personally, I think that they’re probably just another copy paste man with no autonomy anymore.

ANYHOW! I haven’t seen anyone talk about it much, but the scene with Hemlock reviewing the CX agent data and the capsule has me thinking a little harder on their creation/conditioning. The way Hemlock talks about the other operatives as well. “The others aren’t ready to join you” (paraphrasing) seems to show that after the mental conditioning through obviously brutal means, it takes a load of time to physically condition the agents. Seeing as CX-1 was most likely initiated around the same time as Crosshair (I choose to believe that they were near each other’s tables which is why they’re familiar), that took around five months to half a year. In that time span there had to be a lot of soldiers who Hemlock saw fit to be “reprogrammed” but we see very few operatives throughout. This means that if they make it out of mental conditioning, physical conditioning is most likely very dangerous and often times fatal. I’d like to draw attention to the capsules as a part of that physical conditioning. There were several capsules that Hemlock was observing, along with the foggy one that is most likely that new Huyang-lookin-ass operative. If these capsules are the final stage of physical conditioning, it adds meaning to CX-2’s first line, “Why have I been activated?” (Once again paraphrasing). Although the capsules could be for something else entirely.

Also a bit of a gripe, why in the world do you need a new secret-secret operative, Hemlock? You have the commandos, and then the first X troopers, now the CX’s, and what? You wanted a new one? I can’t tell if this man is an overachiever or just way too absorbed into the advanced trooper rabbit hole. Also for you Tech theorists, it’s kinda suspicious that he makes a new version of agents isn’t it? Almost like there’s something…deviant about him?

Completely side tracking here, I really like Phee’s awareness in the station. Yeah she didn’t hear the blaring alarm, but she was in a room where it’d be hard to hear anyways. However, when she got back she felt something was off about the ramp. We’ve seen how slick CX-2 is, so her noticing something is up was a nice touch imo. Also was very appreciative of her caution and readiness with her knife. I love when female characters get to be aware of their surroundings and ready to throw hands if things go south.

In conclusion, thank you for listening to my dump-rambling. I’ve been trying to keep my lips shut so I don’t miss tag anything and spoil it for someone (because I know that I’ll forget to tag everything right). I hope Wrecker is okay. And even if I’m not a Tech CX theorist, I have to admit that I’ve been seeing some fairly strong parallels.

Omega is probably gonna be the one to reveal who cx-2 is. These episodes have pretty much solidified my theory on who it is. Especially now with Omegas proximity to him, it’s someone she knows. She doesn’t know any other reg clones except Rex and Echo (and a few others) so it can’t be Cody, Dogma, or Fives (that was a possibility in my head for a bit started crying thinking about it). It’s Tech and if it isn’t well than that’s just bad story telling and so far this story has been amazing. So it’s gotta be Tech.

Plan 99

This one...I humbly apologize.

I am writing something sweet i promise its just taking longer.

Plan 99. He knew what it meant. They all knew what it meant. 

But would anyone explain it to Phee?

He never had understood the sentimentality of love. 

Never believed that he would experience it. 

But hanging underneath the cable car. 

Hearing his brothers and sister yell at him. He finally knew what it was.

As he pulls the trigger he knows he isn't coming back from this. 

The probability is too low. He ran the numbers in his head when he lifted the blaster. 

As he shoots he takes one last look at his younger brother and older sister.

Memorizing Omega’s face and Wreckers helmet. 

He wishes, selfishly, he could have seen him without it one last time. 

Wishes he could have argued with Echo

Could have strategized with Hunter 

Could have just spoken with Crosshair.

Just one last time

As he closes his eyes he recalls the face that he had memorized against his will. 

He thought of her constantly.

When he flew his ship. Phee.

When he thought about Pabu. Phee.

When he ran back towards the cable car. Phee.

Phee Genoa. A woman. Something he had never thought he would get to have the pleasure of knowing.

She was effervescent,incredible, intelligent, warm, and hundreds of other words in thousands of languages. 

Tech had an entire folder of words he saw fit to describe her. 

He had heard stories of the regs' escapades with nat born females but had decided that with an intellectual mind such as his own, he would neither find someone who would put up with him, nor would he ever grow attached.

To his surprise. His astonishment. This was the only time he had been wrong.

But was he glad for it. 

She confounded him constantly. 

Never doing what he predicted. 

He recalls the first time they met. She called him “Brown eyes” despite the fact that all clones eyes are the same brown. 

But, it made him feel different.

He of course ran a full diagnostic later on but nothing explained the feelings in his stomach when she spoke to him. 

When their eyes met. 

When he held her against him as they scaled the wall on Pabu.

He didn't particularly like physical touch but for her he could make exceptions. 

He remembers how she and Omega became fast friends. 

How he didnt know how much he would enjoy watching them interact.

As he falls his mind races and it feels like time slows down.

He quickly presses a button on his helmet that automatically plays his favorite recording.

He watches as Phee turns to him in Cid’s office. 

Charming as she always was.

And the last thing he hears is her voice calling him Brown eyes.

The pirate’s ship wasn’t protected. She just left it open. 

It was all too easy to get on the ship and get the coordinates. 

He completed the mission but something makes him pause. 

His orders were to dispose of her if she caused trouble. 

But those were orders he didn’t feel the need to follow.

He watches her closely as she inspects the hangar.

There’s something inside him fighting to get to her. 

For a moment there’s whispers in his mind. As if someone is trying to escape.

He shakes his head and it’s gone. 

Whatever was before is gone. He is what remains. And that night when he looks in the mirror in his quarters. A pair of mechanical eyes, stark white stare back at him.

Identity Crisis and Point of No Return Thoughts

Emerie Karr is beginning to grow a heart and conscious.

I like how Nala Se’s priority is Omega first but leaves the others as best as she can. There’s a bit of her old self from the Clone Wars there.

Scorch as a villain is terrifying and I love this change in personality.

I also love how Hemlock is really starting to feel the pleasure and the seeds of a mental breakdown is clear. I cannot wait to see him get his just deserts.

CX-2 has to be building up to a reveal of some kind at this point. I’m still betting on Cody or a new Clone with Crosshair’s defects. He continues to be the deadliest Clone villain we’ve seen after Imperial Crosshair and alongside Scorch.

I wish we got to see more of Shep and Lysna this season because this episode reminds me how much I wanted to see more of them even if as background roles on Pabu.

Omega letting herself be captured is a great way to show her growth and desire to finish the mission through.

Crosshair failing is the most devastating thing I’ve seen and it seems to set up his eventual recovery of his sniping skills.

Otherwise, today was truly angst.

Motifs I’ve noticed:

A possible Karr theme that I thought was a change in Omega’s theme, Hemlock’s theme, CX’s theme, Omega theme, BB theme (a similar theme to when Omega was taken in S2 finale), and the Commando theme/Deployment motif (ARC Trooper track)

Arguably my favorite shot of cx2 so far, is in the beginning half of episode 11 when he’s facing his ships controls and the lighting seems to form the reflection of eyes off his helmet.

It’s just so cool. I’d love to add a screenshot but- idk how people get them.

I think back to the constant reminder to pay attention to the choice of lighting, and I couldn’t help but immediately think about brown eyes… Especially since we’d just had the scene with him sneaking aboard Phee’s ship.

I went back to Infiltration and looked to see if the glow had been as pronounced in that episode and it wasn’t.

They could have left the lighting as an even red glow across the entirety of cx2’s person like in Infiltration, but no, they had points of direct light to focus on.

Just wanted to point out that when CX-2 said “Who are you” he sounded exactly like Tech. Same pronunciation. Same tone. At this point it’s obvious that CX-2 is Tech.
