My friends have graciously allowed me to play with their Darktide characters as well on this blog! :D So we might see them now and again!

Captain Harken was arrested for complaining about the corpse starch's taste, and ended up here. Actual military experience, doing his best to train his people!

The lightning-wielding Estaie would have become a Commissar, if the voices didn't start manifesting... The inquisition saved him from the Black ships at the last second. He is sanctioned. We promise.

Chucking ice knives at the enemy, we have Meliota! An ex-Sister of Battle, also forced to take a different path once her powers started manifesting. She talks quite often to her beloved. (It's the Emperor) (We think) (We hope)

And finally, the hive city ganger currently getting over 4 different substance addictions, Phosphex! Unlike the others, he was RECRUITED after witnessing the fall of Cadia, the planet he saw as an oppostunity after the disorganized violence of his original hive city. He is a walking jumpscare. For allies AND foes! (handle with caution, do not try to restrain!)

The Fallout Campaign (Dm’d by my friend @techpirate1) Takes place... I’m not too sure where in the timeline, and I blank out on the location. XD I am NOT a fallout fan, so I do my best! But essentially we’re looking at a not-destroyed-hopeville.

This is my character : Vesper Reynauld the artificer. Last in date overseer of vault 11 (aka that one vault where the overseer was sacrificed ever year, so there were elections to chose who to kill every year), she chose exile at the end of her term instead of a quick execution. Sh expected the world to still be radioactive as shit and to kill her in a matter of seconds... so finding actual living people outside was a shock! She made her way to Hopeville, where she encountered a merry bunch of misfits : an albino talking deathclaw and history nerd, Achii. a talking dog, member of the followers of the apocalypse (and best girl), River. her companion ghoul, that saw it all go down, Dusty. a delivery girl with a BIG GUN, Vicky. (and her future crush, Enclave lieutenant Reginald Brownings (I believe is his last name, we call him Reggie. XD) as our companion NPC)

So first they band together to hunt down a guy that has been harrassing Hopeville’s guards. Upon finding his camp and killing everybody inside, they notice manage to get him, but not before he triggers a beacon. Since he’s associated with the brotherhood of steel, nobody is happy about this... Still, we raid the camp, and this happens :

And THIS is the moment everybody decided Vesper was probably the protagonist, despite her knowing NOTHING about the wastelands. XD

After that, We had a paladin come down to our neighborhood, and unfortunately trace Vesper’s pipboy... she didn’t react well to being blocked, and put a bounty on Vesper’s head. Though at the current time if I remember right, the Brotherhood got their ass handed to them already, so this type of bounty doesn’t carry as much weight as one might think.

Vicky received a package not long after to deliver to said paladin. Apprehensive we open it up... to find a missile launcher remote. (detonator?) with hopeville’s coordinates already plugged in. Reginald begrudgingly informs us we’re sitting on a few functional missile silos... So we all agree to hide the thing, and entrust it over to him.

We get the opportunity to go explore the wasteland, so we do! :D We jump over to the next town, meeting on the way a robot fan of Buddy Holy music but struggling to find a disk, L3wis (Lew1s? Lew15? Lewis! XD). Bringing him along, we get a job for vicky to deliver more stuff, after having a very “protagonist Vesper” moment in the casino, of Vesper playing blackjack for the first time and getting a blackjack immediately. XD

During the delivery, we set up camp, go hunt for food on the territory of a radioactive, invisible deathclaw, and also Vesper gets shot in the neck from nowhere, going straight to 1 HP. :D As the team immediately gets the assassin, Reginald gives her a shot of pretty intense stimulants, getting her pumped up... for a fight that never happens because the guy gets destroyed before she can get there. XD

Apparently he was after the bounty, but instead, Vesper loots his armor, and Vicky speeds up the mountain to go finish her delivery... findinga creative way to go back down. ;)

Once reunited, we all sleep... to wake up to glowing deathclaw footprints around the camp. Needless to say, Dusty who was in charge of the watch and fell asleep at the time, did NOT like that! We pack up and leave QUICKLY! We reach a big city juuust before there is a prison outbreak nearby, and go about our business : starting to research a way to synthesize anti-addictive medicine for River, wondering around for Visky and Lewis, Reginald and Achii went shopping (for their girlfriends), and Vesper just, you know... found a junk pile and made her own power armor frame. :) Armorer artificer, lads! XD (new guns were also aquired!)

We then went on a side quest for Reginald, to help him find notes on an experiment he was a part of back in the days, and after a LOT of unpleasant hallucinations that almost cost us some party members, we managed to secure everything we needed (insert delighted Dusty noises when he found a few redacted documents... and then documents that didn’t have the time to be redacted. ;) ).

AND THEN WE HAD A BEACH EPISODE! :D And for the moment, that’s it! :)

Congratulations on reading the whole thing, you get one more Vesper for your trouble. XD

So besides Isa who else do you play as again in other campaigns?

I am so glad you asked~ So besides Isa Perkins, I've also gotten around to playing Shanti Yamul in @selemina‘s First Casters campaign. We’ve already gone over her so I won’t ramble about her much (unless of course you have questions). I’m just glad to be playing her again, since she was the first D&D character I've ever made and played as~ Next, there’s Meadow. Another fave of mine~ She’s my character for @girugin‘s Endless Winter campaign, and so far she has just been a real joy to play. She’s a foul-mouthed, troublemaker goblin rogue, who’s mostly good at stealing and stabbing, but who also cares deeply about people that she gets to know.. even if her gremlin energy tells you otherwise. She can get emotional and difficult at times, but she can also be surprisingly intelligent, with a harsh, gloomy, and realistic outlook on life. She herself doesn’t think that this winter will end... but there’s another part of her that really hopes it will, someday. For now though, she’s content with just joining the party in the hunt for supplies and allies, and making sure the small community she now calls home keeps running. Next up is Lidewei Malvolia, my character for girugin’s evil campaign: Dragon Mafia. As you might’ve guessed.. she’s not really a good person. She’s a cunning, manipulative cult leader, and the very definition of the word ‘dragon lady’. Working for her lord Duvud, she mostly tricks and convinces people to join her in supporting her lord’s uprising, while also working together with the rest of the party (aka, lord Duvud’s ‘hoard’) to bring him back into a position of power. As a cleric, she mostly serves as the party’s healer, and hopes to solve any issues with as little violence as possible.. but that doesn’t mean she won’t easily kill someone when necessary. Even though she’s blind, which helps in making her look defenseless and an easy prey for many, she is still a force to be reckoned with, and I would advice you to not get on her bad side. There’s also Joe Mcgrady, an NPC for Dragon Mafia who stays by Lidewei’s side and often functions as ‘her eyes’. He originally came from a farm, but left that place to follow and protect the pretty elven woman.. he’s simple-minded, but at least he thinks he’s doing the right thing. Since he’s not a PC I won’t go into much detail, but he’s still my character, so please tell me if you’re interested in learning more~! Sadly I can’t say that I'm a PC in @techpirate1‘s Fallout campaign... but I do play an NPC that shows up every so often! That would be Annie Brown, the small, adorable girlfriend of girugin’s Deathclaw PC, Achii. She started of as a bit of a self-insert for rp’s, but soon turned into a canon oc for Achii and the others to play off of. Annie herself doesn’t do much except stay safe in his house and offer moral support, but she still brings this lively, positive energy whenever she does go somewhere with the gang. She herself is fine staying out of fights and danger.. but she still tends to worry about her boyfriend, no matter how big, tough, and handsome he is. I’ve started to recently play a ranger called Trace in a one-shot my friend @hands-of-fate-ocs made, which might get a continuation soon so I can play Trace more~! They’re, well, a very quiet, very awkward half-elf, having spent most days on their own, and away from civilization. Though they sometimes visit towns, or their mom, to stock up on needed supplies, they’re the happiest when just exploring wild, abandoned areas and looking for anything mythical: especially something regarding fey. Basically, anything that piques their interest is something they’ll devote their sweet time to. But still, after a long while, loneliness did get to them.. which was exactly when they got asked to join a PSI squad. Imagine that! Wanting to overcome their social issues and do something else for a change, they accepted, and are now currently on a mission with their team. They still don’t really seek out companionship and are happy just keeping to themselves, but there’s already a few others in their team that they find.. interesting, at least. Maybe they’ll finally make some friends~ There’s a few more characters that I've mostly just played in one-shots, but are still very loved and are counted as official characters to bring back. Like Fien Intema, my dutch triton bard and local handywoman. She’s confident, flirty, and a bit rough around the edges, but has a good heart. She’ll absolutely speak her mind when bullshit is happening, and might cause trouble here and there, but she’s also careful and kind to others when she needs to be, wanting to avoid conflict rather than start it. Another beloved character of mine is Edgar Mcgrady, whom I played in a one-shot a long while ago, and definitely want to play again in a full campaign. Like Fien, he’s a bard. (I just like to play bards, okay..!) But unlike her, he’s just kind of this charming, simple country bumpkin that escaped from his family’s farm, and is now happily exploring any town or city he can reach. He likes to play his banjo for himself and others, and enjoys getting a drink in a pub or inn. He also likes to her himself as friendly and honest, but there’s a few things he would still like to keep a secret too.. There’s currently a few more characters in the making, and there’s others I have that I haven’t even played, but I think this is all when it comes to campaigns I've played / are playing now. Again, thanks for being interested! I’m glad I can share all this stuff with others now too! <3 Also, y’all please follow my wonderful D&D friends I mentioned here! CONFIRMED : Ivan and Courtney : Our grumpy, God-plagued cleric and his sweet and mischievous husband twice his size. Tastes like those acidic sweets : Dear god it pricks, but you want one more. XD Permid and Ryan : HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT PEACOCK HUSBAND??

Ryan the social butterfly, lover of nerds, very determined to have ONE occasion to talk and hang out with Permid after all of this craziness settles, and the feeling is apparently mutual! ;) Nervous Wizard ‘bout to get some cuddles for his anxiety! Saka and Zahz : Our local magic cop has been running away from his controlling ex for 3 years, fearing to come back... Surprise surprise however when he gets back, said ex has had such a slap in the face when he left that he was put into therapy and it opened his eyes to his manipulative and controlling tendencies. They’re both still very lovestruck, but... they have a lot of work to do to be actually good for one another. But they are ready to try this trip together, as soon as they deal with the current situation. Not everybody looks at this favorably... But Zahz is determined to make amends. Isn’t fantasy wonderful? You can have exes that actually DO give a shit and are ready to become better! :D Glaire and Raph : With their friendship having lasted for years, now that Glaire is more confident in her body, things have developed... ;) Yay for one happy trans lady and her non-binary tech wizard partner! :D

IN DEVELOPMENT : The Standon Household : Originally just with Ivan and Courtney, the household has seen the addition of multiple bachelors, to the point where most men under this roof are considered one of the husbands. First, Peter, the lost vampire gentleman.

Arrived in Earth by accident, he took this opportunity to escape his old vampiric habits. Adept in blood magic, he saved Courtney’s life earlier, discovering the temporary addictive side effect of it. It took 2 weeks for Courntey to recover from his sudden crush, but in the meantime, Peter has been getting closer to the Standons, and now lives under the house as they make him a new coffin. Before that however, he was housed at Permid’s father’s place! And said father, Archeon, was very grateful for the company. Peter serves as a bridge between the Standons and him, and it seems like this is heading towards a big polygamous house! :D So, Standon Prime (Ivan), Soft husband (Courtney), Night husband (Peter) and Science husband (Archeon) in total. :) But nothing is official yet, if very seriously pursued and hinted at. :) Isa and Jef : Our cute bard has found a soft boy, the local druid NPC and coffee shop employee Jef! :)

Although Isa is quick to accept any kind of flirt out of curiosity and panic (with a complete disregard for her own safety, might I add), this seems to be a possible path. Actually, I should have put Permid and Ryan here, since they’re still getting to know one another... Woops! XD Tethys and Damiana : One is an exchange student with top grades, a massive familial sword, and is definitely not Lyn. (Same player though. XD) The other is a tiefling in disguise, artificer with a deployable shield on her forearm, a gun-brella, death rumbas, and a tendency to throw imaginary knives! They have only met recently, but a shopping trip is planned, so... Hopefully we see more about that soon! :D

CRACKSHIPS : Oh boy. XD

Alexia and Damien : More or less childhood friend, Damien still sees Alexia as the person he’d die for to protect her. Because she’s the only true positive influence in his life, but also because she gives him pastries. ;) He’s still in shock every time she handles things herself with extreme prejudice : She’s a dangerous warlock! Also tsundere Damien is VERY fun to play. XD

(There was also some low-key shipping between Alexia and Jef, but I didn’t see it in time, so we missed the opportunity... But it could have been amazing. XD) Quiet self-indulgent desire to push Dylan and Peter together as a crackship because the snark would be legendary but ignore me playing with my NPCs. Damiana and Permid : Or how to get a teacher to stop talking to you, by Damiana : Expose Permid’s fake love life and hope it makes EVERYBODY uncomfortable! :D And it worked! XD Those two actually have a nice friendship, it’s always nice to watch them interract! Damiana’s big enabler/sister energy comes out when there is a Permid around to go do slightly illegal stuff with! Personal crackship : Lyn and Oni. Oni crossed half of france with a full storm to make a dramatic entrance and challenge her, and she headbutted his ass right out! If Lyn wasn’t blatantly ace, their rivalry could be a textbook kissmesitude! (My homestuck is showing)

In the same vein, Oni and Shanti! New addition to the group, Shanti is a soft girl trying to wrap her head around things. Oni is weak to honest, purely good people. And his duty to protect people that Ivan sees as allies means he fought off a full group of SWAT officers so they wouldn’t try to arrest Shanti during an emergency! :) Permid and “5th dimensional friend” : As a Horizon walker, Permid sometimes ends up in a space between planes, where unfathomable beings reside.. And one of them, noticing the cute little 3 dimentional being appearing now and again, has taken a liking to him! :D There was also talk of an Archeon and Master Kavoleg crackship!

Eminent atomic scientist meets other-wordly wizard master.. And picks his interest. ;) Please picture Archeon excitedly explaining what an atom is to an enraptured mage, and the scientist marveling at each and every spell the tiefling casts!

I’m sure there are a lot of others I don’t know about. Some of the off-sessions rp happens in private chats, depending on everybody’s preference. :) But now is a good time to link my players, if you’re curious about some of those ships! :D
