I think its always sexy and right when people headcanon their favourite character as having the same disabillity/condition as them.

Gordon freeman? He's autistic non verbal now.

Crowley? What if, like some real snakes, he was partially blind.

Fricken micheal afton? Chronic pain, yknow those wires have to hurt.

Disabled people, you are always morally right for headcanonning able bodied characters as disabled, especially if it's your disabillity and double, especially if you never see that disabillity represented.

Listen listen, im not therian or otherkin, but my god has their communities geniunely helped with our mental health. Thinking of our bed as a nest and filling it with pillows and blankets helped so much for the days where our chronic pain kept us in bed all day. Thinking of our room as our den and decorating it with things we collected as a hoard and installing a lock on the door. That helped immensely with building a sense of identity separate from our trauma.
