I think its always sexy and right when people headcanon their favourite character as having the same disabillity/condition as them.

Gordon freeman? He's autistic non verbal now.

Crowley? What if, like some real snakes, he was partially blind.

Disabled people, you are always morally right for headcanonning able bodied characters as disabled, especially if it's your disabillity and double, especially if you never see that disabillity represented.

Hello! We are a group of 6 five nights at freddy's (fnaf) canonmates, michael afton, evan afton, phone guy, susie, gabriel, and fritz. We are looking for anyone with similar memories, but especially cassidy, jeremy fitzgerald, jeremy (bonnie ghost), elizabeth afton and susie's older sister Samantha. Some important memories:

Our phone guy is named Graham, and cassidy and jeremy fitzgerald were both his children. He survived fnaf 1 and has memories up to and including the pizzaplex, and was also Old Man Consequences.

Our evan always wore a daisy in his hair and bandana around his neck, and had blue/green heterochromia.

I find the theory that gman purposefully trapped himself in the vault so alyx would be indebted to him a fascinating take, because when I saw the whole scene I interpreted it so differently, and that interpretation solidified for me with some of the concept art.

Even with him in the game actually just looking out the window, to me this is what I thought happened.

Gman goes to do a job for his employers.

The combine tracks him down.

The gman ignores them because he knows he can escape and continues working.

Combine tries to trap him and the gman evades it.

Then gmans smugness fades as he realises that the trap he evaded wasn't the real trap, and by underestimating the combine he just walked right into the real trap.

He then calmly puts his suitcase on the table, sits down, and rests his head in his hands. Thinking this is his end.

while Nimona obviously reads as a queer allegory, I also found myself seeing it in a disabled light.

As a queer disabled system, right now we are struggling with our university treating us like a monster and dangerous, even though we've never shown any inclination towards endangering others. People decide to pity us and infantilise us until our symptoms stop appearing sad and more scary. When Nimona was heartbroken when even a child thought she was scary, it broke me a little, because we know what that's like. 🔮

Now I know what your gonna say cause I said it too "but there's nothing they can do that I need" "thatd be asking them too much" "I wouldn't even know what to ask for and the energy of thinking it up is too much"

Your friends are smart, if you tell them that you just can't mentally take thinking of what to ask for they might think of something for you.

Yesterday for example I told my brother I couldn't handle it and he thought for a second and went "ok well you have strategies in place to help, and I know you've done most of them but how about we go through the list together to make sure you didn't miss anything" and it worked! I brushed my teeth.

I wanted to play a new video game but doing alone sucked, so I messaged my friend and asked if we could be on call during and I ended up playing the game for a solid four hours.

If you think what you need is too much to ask, tell them that. If it is they still might be able to compromise but 9 time out of 10 as soon as I say it out loud we both realise it wasn't too much at all and im just traumatised.

It is ok that you are sensing the fact your about to spiral (maybe cause of life circumstance) and you can't do it alone. Humans are social creatures we need each other.

And I know this is hard to hear because everyone made you feel like just breathing air as a mentally ill and/or disabled person was a crime. But you deserve help and kindness.

And honestly you help in small ways too

One thing we've learned in life is to focus on three things in a confrontation

1. What exactly is the problem? (Specfifcs are important, is a need not being met? Did the other hurt you? Etc)

2. what can we both do to make sure this situation either doesn't happen again or mitigate it as best we can

3. What can we do right now to help?( Is there some way of meeting a need right now? Anything we need to say or hear? Affirmations of care? Explaining intention? Etc)

Life gets easier when you stop thinking of it as "if I did something bad then the other person bringing it up is calling me a bad person, and if im confronting someone it's not cause I want a solution its cause I want punishment" to

"I wanna make this person content and if there's a problem then it's me and them vrs the problem, I understand good people can sometimes hurt people we care about and that's not a reflection of moral character but something that unfortunately happens and something we want to deal with as painlessly as possible"
