I ran into a bit of a dilemma in writing this. I realized that a lot of you probably would be able to get into the role of you were called “GLaDOS”, so here’s the plan. I tried my hardest to not have to use (y/n), but me thinks I’m gonna have to. The actual operating system will be called “GLaDOS”, but you yourself will be called (y/n). You’re replacing Caroline & GLaDOS. There will be a little surprise - since this is my ver of Portal (AKA throwing Portal into Genshin), so you’ll be introduced as (y/n)! If this ruins the experience, please let me know, and I’ll come up with something different! ໒꒰ྀི´ ˘ ` ꒱ྀིა
Also! GORE WARNING!!!! THERE WILL BE GORE!! I’ll post a warning right before it starts and a little thing for where it ends!! ☆૮꒰ˊᗜˋ* ꒱ა
Finding out one of your islands is being used for things unknown is not something you want to wake up too.
But unfortunately, that was what Miss. Raiden Ei was subjected to this morning.
The apparent “island” wasn’t even actually an island. It looked like a small plot of land, with it’s only inhabitant being an old bot that resembled a Fontainian Meka - which was still active and very dangerous - and what looked to be some kind of small, one person hut. But when the fishermen who had found this island somehow managed to enter the hut, they found it actually housed a long, winding staircase that plummeted into the earth.
So of course this news was sent straight to Ei. As the Archon, anything that went on in her Nation’s boundaries that wasn’t documented was immediately brought up to her for investigation. In any other case she would have told the Tenryou Commission to take care of it or otherwise, but seeing as this was seemingly more than just a “island descending into the depths” - the fishermen also reported strange noises coming from below - this seemed like it would need to be handled with a more… direct touch.
Gathering her wits, she made a small “exploration team”. This team consisted of:
1. The Traveler, because why wouldn’t it
2. Kujo Sara, her loyalty will be of use
3. Maillardet, she had heard of his helping with the Icewind Suite Meka. His expertise may be needed.
And finally, though unfortunately,
4. Dottore.
As much as she may have detested the Fatui and their methods, she couldn’t deny they got results. And on top of that she had heard of his experiments on that of Ruin Guards, which again may be needed.
After making her plans and sending off letters to all she believed she may need, the Shogun began to wait.

It was dark in the Aperture Science building. Though it wasn’t silent. After word from the singular guard at one of many openings alerted human sightings after… years of nothing, you had to admit something inside you was excited.
It was in human and monster nature to be curious of the unknown. And with all the years since your last… nuisance test subject, you figured that Aperture may have been - more likely was - forgotten by those above.
You rapidly repaired test room after test room, rebuilding the facility to the best of your current abilities. Which wasn’t much a problem, because due to the lack of human error, you were able to keep the place up and running with extreme precision.
It looked just like when Aperture was first built.
With different power sources from every nation, keeping powered on was never an issue. The location that had been found by humans was the one that was powered by the never ending lightning storm that surrounded the nation of Inazuma.
The strikes of Electro traveled through the water into sensors placed on the ocean floor, that changed the pure Electro into actual electricity that was then used to power the specific part of Aperture Science that was stationed below it.
The real facility spanned all across Teyvat.
This was only the beginning.
And your cold heart was more than ready for this coming future.

“I am shocked than and Archon such as yourself has called for me.”
All heads in the room turned to face the masked male.
Kujo immediately summoned her bow and pointed it at the man, while Traveler did the same with his sword. Poor Maillardet only ran behind the armed female, clutching her skirt.
Kujo glanced at him before pushing all attention back on Dottore.
“Please lower your weapons.” Heads whipped to look at the sullen voice of Ei.
“I asked him to be here. Please do not make this experience more difficult than it already may be.” Even she seemed… less than enthused by her actions, but the sudden silence- to soak up her words - was interrupted by the man in question’s laughter.
“And how shocked I was when The Tsaritsa said the Electro Archon herself had asked for my assistance in a ‘pressing matter’! Please, do listen to her and try to not make this difficult?” His grin unwavering. Aether scoffed and Kujo only huffed a small ‘Yes, my Shogun’, before turning to her backseat passenger who hadn’t moved since Dottore’s appearance.
“… What?” The brunette asked. Then he sighed. “Just because I build fighters doesn’t mean I myself can fight, Madame.” He quickly pushed himself off her and dusted both her and him off.
With one more sigh, Ei stood.
“Let us not waste anymore time. There is an odd island off the coast of Amakane Island. On it is a single individual that resembles a Fontainian Meka, and a hut. The odd thing being that this hut holds a staircase that “plummets into the earth”, so say my sources.” She then looked at the Doctor.
“Have your men done anything to this island?” It was a fair question.
It wouldn’t be odd for the Fatui to have a lab or something of the sort in a Nation without the Archon or Nation’s knowledge. In fact, it wouldn’t be the first time. Though - again - Dottore only laughed again.
“No, Miss. Ei. We haven’t any labs that “plummet into the earth”, as you say.” Kujo flinched at him not referring to her Archon by her title, but before she could do anything, she was stopped by a look from said Archon.
“Thank you for being honest,” she hummed, “Then we best be off. Who knows what we shall find and who knows how long we may be.” And she started off.
Following behind her was everyone but Maillardet, who looked confused.
“No equipment? No food provisions?” He glanced a guard who was stationed at a door nearby who shrugged. They both sighed and spoke in unison.
“Vision holders…”

Making their way to Amakane Island was easy enough. Making their way to the unnamed island was also easy.
The Meka that was guarding the small hut was… tall, to say the least.
“It looks vaguely like a Suppression Specialist Mek mixed with an Assault Specialist Mek…” Maillardet muttered, causing Dottore’s head to whip in his direction.
“So nothing you’ve seen before?” He mused, causing the Fontainian to glare at him.
“No.” He huffed, “It isn’t.” Dottore smirked at that answer.
“Then we have an unknown Meka on our hands? Perhaps made by someone outside of Fontaine-“ “No.” Maillardet interrupted.
“It still has hints of Fontainian handiwork. The way you can see some gears and cogs, as well as the fact that it’s utilizing Fontaine gun tech. It very well could be imbued with Arkeh energy. If I had to guess, Ousia.”
Everyone stared at the man, who blushed.
“What I’m trying to say,” he breathed, “Is that while it’s not any Meka I’ve ever seen, it’s definitely made by Fontainian hands. Sir Aether should know how to deal with it effectively.” Dottore stared at the man.
Aether nodded and jumped off the boat they all currently inhabited, and began to attack. The others stayed back and watched as he gracefully dodged attacks and fought back.
Though, in a sudden switch of attack, the bullets firing from the cannon on its arm changed to Electro-Charged pellets of water. The sudden swap shocked Aether and the Mek was able to land a few solid hits on the man.
Getting fed up, Kujo stood to fight, but Ei held her back.
“Those are Electro-Charged attacks.” “I understand Shogun but-“ “No. We’d only make things worse.” With a huff, the tengu sat down, glaring at the Doctor who dared to chuckle.
The fight continued on for a few more minutes before Aether came out triumphant. As the Mek collapsed, a voice rung out from its destroyed body.
“Warn…ing…Intruders At….Inazuma Ent…rance…Access Not Given…Send Warning To GL…a…” Before finally collapsing. Aether stood overtop its corpse before turning to the others.
“Well… I suppose we can continue onward?” Maillardet questioned, only to be met with everyone else in the boat jumping out onto dry land, once more leaving him behind.
The man grumbled as he slowly pulled himself out the boat, soaking his boots and pants.
By the time he made it, everyone but Dottore had made their way into the hut, on their way down.
“After you.” The bluenette grinned, and Maillardet shuddered.
And then they all made their decent.

While the staircase itself was long and narrow, surrounded on all sides by pipes and cogs, what they found at the bottom was truly a sight; though they had been going down for a while.
A large open space - like a courtyard. There was artificial sunlight that streamed in from the panels on the ceiling that simulated a blue sky. False grass and trees swayed in a deceptive breeze. A ‘building’ sat before them with glass doors. It was grey and unassuming, the words “Aperture Science Laboratories” was in big lettering above the doors in big, illuminated lighting.
“Incredible…” Dottore mumbled as the group began to make their way down a path that led from the staircase to the building.
Just then, a sharp creaking noise was heard, and the staircase they had just traversed began to retract. It slowly made its way upward, lifting off the ground. Without flinching, Kujo summoned her bow and knocked an arrow, looking for a place to shoot. Finding a button near the staircase labeled ‘emergency shut down’, she shot, hitting it head on.
“Sudden Power Surge Detected At: Inazuma Docking Station. Rerouting Power Surge To Backup Power Supply’s. Emergency Dock Closing System: Initiated.”
And with that, the stairs shot up, effectively sealing the group inside.
“Sorry, Shogun…” was the only thing that left the now embarrassed Kujo’s lips.
“Worry not, I am sure we’ll find another exit eventually. Let us continue forth.” And onward they went.
Walking down the path, Dottore noted that there were hills far beyond the little building before them, fading off into the distance.
“I wonder how long this facility stretches out?..” He wondered aloud. Maillardet grumbled under his breath.
“Hopefully not that far…”
Entering the building they were met with something none of them - minus Dottore - had experienced.
Fluorescent lighting.
The light outside had at least been convincing, but the buzzing overhead and the slight flickering was enough to get under everyone’s - again, minus Dottore’s - skin.
“Whatever is this awful-“
“Welcome, gentleman, to Aperture Science. Humans, Vision Holders, War-Hero’s, Hybrids — you’re here because we want the best, and you’re it. Now, who’s ready to make some science?”
Weapons were immediately drawn from hearing the unusual voice.
“Who dared cut of The Shogun-“
“Now, you already met one another on the boat ride over, so let me introduce myself. I’m Cave Johnson. I own the place.”
Kujo growled.
“Well, Mr. “Cave Johnson”, I recommend you reveal yourself before we-“
“Mr. Johnson! I believe you’re forgetting something..? Or rather, someone..?”
All heads turned to the wall length screen that turned on with the new voice.
They were met with a cartoonish figure of a person, though their head was replaced by the grey, circle logo of Aperture. They were dressed in a white button up with a black vest overtop. With pure black dress pants and black dress shoes. A snow white lab coat over their shoulders and pure white gloves on their hands. The only hint of color or their person was an orange tie.
Dottore was the first to walk over, pressing a gloved hand to the screen.
“This is all absolutely incredible…” he spoke with a grin.
Nobody noticed how the figure flinched away.
“That eager voice you heard is the lovely (y/n), my assistant. They were added as a safety protocol in case some of you get lost. There are screens all of Aperture where they can keep a close eye on you, to make sure you stay in one piece, or at least as close to one piece as we can get you. Now, rest assured, they have transferred your honorarium to the charitable organization of your choice, isn’t that right, (y/n)?”
The figure on the screen - now known as (y/n) - nodded. Or… nodded as best a 2D model may be able to nod.
“That’s right, Mr. Johnson.”
“Since their addition, they have been the backbone of this facility. Pretty as a postcard too. Sorry fellas, they’re married. To science.”
They watched as you walked over on the “screens”, trotting all the way over to a pair of double doors. With one arm behind you, you held an open palm in the direction of said doors.
“Now, if you just follow them, they’ll take you right to the testing sites.”
With that small tidbit of information, the group reluctantly walked their way over to the doors. Pushing through them, they watched as you faded on the other side. Only for the walls of the hallway surrounding them to light up with bright white light, and for you to be on their right side, walking down the hall on your screens.
“There’s a thousand tests performed everyday here in our enrichment spheres. I can’t personally oversee every single one of them, so these pre-recorded messages’ll cover any questions you might have, and respond to any incidents that may occur in the course of your science adventure!”
You continued walking down the long hall, it slowly dipping further and further into the earth, but not to an alarming degree. A tune played throughout the hall, your head bobbing to the beat.
“Recorded..?” Ei asked. She turned to Kujo and Aether, who both shrugged. She then turned to Maillardet who muttered a quick ‘I’ve heard of it… that’s all…’ then looked away. Finally she looked towards Dottore.
“… Recordings are a rather new technology I’ve discovered. It’s a lost technique from long ago, the act of taking the waves of one’s voice down onto a physical form - such as a disk or a vinyl - and relaying those waves through a certain machine to recreate noises. I’ve been able to get my hands on a few, but to find one of such large scale, with moving images to boot! If I can get my hands on whatever is relaying these recordings…” His voice toned back when he realized he was walking alone.
Turning back he noticed that everyone had stopped behind him, confusion written all over their faces. He groaned, slapping a hand over his eyes before dragging it down the side of his face.
“It refers to something hearing noise, then relaying it at a later time when prompted.” And on they continued. It took a moment to catch up to you, as you had continued on your merry way while they had been stopped.
When they made it, Cave Johnson began speaking again.
“Your test assignments will vary, depending on the manner in which you have bent the world to your will.”
They finally made it to the end of the hall, with double doors greeting them. The doors opened automatically, opening to a large space, akin to an auditorium. Doors led off to different halls, each closed off by double doors that were identical to the ones they just came through. The room was surrounded by the Aperture logo, with small tables set up with small experiments on them. Walking past, Maillardet’s eyes glanced at a potato battery.
The most obvious thing in the room were the blue and yellow lines on the floor that each led to another room. You popped up again on a few overhead screens, though now you were sitting at a desk, typing away. You occasionally took a sip from a grey cup.
“Those of you helping us test the repulsion gel today, just follow the blue lines on the floor. Those of you who volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA I’ve got some good news and some bad news.”
Lights lit up over the blue lines and your figure changed to a looping recording of you walking on the lines and through the door.
“Injected with praying mantis DNA… why would you ever..?” Maillardet wondered with a grimace, while Dottore only smirked.
“I think me and this Mr. Johnson may have something in common. Anything in the name of science.” His grin made Aether shiver.
“Can we please just move on?” The blonde growled. He turned to the two females, only to find Kujo trying to open another door with Ei beside her.
“What are you doing..?” He asked. The General exhaled before turning back to the group.
“Trying to find another way out. Why are we even listening to this Cave Johnson person? We don’t know who he is, we don’t know where he is, we don’t even know what he looks like.” She walked over to another set of doors and tugged.
“She has a point.” Said Ei. “But in that same breath, we don’t know where we are either. The only thing pushing us forward is the voice of Mr. Johnson.” She placed a hand on the tengu’s shoulder.
“I feel it may be in our best interest to listen for now. When we find an exit, we’ll leave immediately.” Kujo sighed and muttered an apology before turning to the blue lines.
The loop of your walking through the doors still played above as everyone filled through the doors.
“Bad news, we’re postponing those tests indefinitely. Good news is we have a much better test for you: fighting an army of mantis men.”
“WHAT?!-“ shouted Maillardet. “WHY WOULD YOU EVER-“ A hand was slapped over his mouth as Dottore shushed him.
“I want to hear the rest of this.” he whispered.
“Pick up a rifle and follow the yellow line. You’ll know when the test starts.”
“Oh Mr. Johnson…” Dottore swooned.
“Only a rifle..?” Maillardet whimpered.
Kujo groaned. “Don’t worry about that now. We’re following the blue lines. Not the yellow ones.” Ei grinned slightly at the banter.
“They say great science is built on the shoulder of giants. Not here. At Aperture, we do all our science from scratch. No hand holding.”
“I really do like this man.” Dottore grinned.

Walking along the catwalks was a new feeling. Despite the no longer being really… anywhere… there were still screens nearby that depicted you walking along side the group.
Little to no effort was made to make any kind of conversation. Just the sounds of different kinds of shoes hitting the metal that made up the catwalks.
Though that all changed within a moment.
“Hello..? Hello??”
The sudden voice calling out made everyone come to a stop. Aether brandished his sword and turned to a pair of doors that led off the path they were being led down.
They waited with bated breath as the mechanical whirling of something moving towards them echoed in the open space. The walls themselves seemed to shift as whatever it was made its way to the door…
The doors burst open as a spherical robot with a bright blue eye pushed its way through the doors, pausing when it saw the group.
“Humans..? Humans?? Humans!! Wait… HUMANS?!?!” Its confound shock was extremely apparent, especially with the way it screamed out.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE?!?! I haven’t seen a human since… since… her…” It’s tone grew somber within a second, but then it shook on its… bar??? Grip??? Dottore wanted to know.
“That doesn’t matter, what matters is that you guys are humans! Actual, genuine humans!” It rolled forward on its… whatever and faced them.
“… None of you have the portal gun though.. oh. Do you have those ‘vision’ things? Because I can assure you they won’t be of much help here-”
“And why is that?” Dottore jumped in.
“… Well first off all, it was incredibly rude to cut me off there, secondly, Aperture focused on the sciences that… well, had to do with those who lacked visions. Now don’t get me wrong, there were certainly tests for those who had them but uh… yeah these were mostly for those without.” It nodded.
“I see… now. Do you happen to have a name. Or would you tell us what you are?” The Doctor asked.
“A name..? Right! Oh gosh, I completely forgot about that. Wheatley’s the name and… yeah I don’t know where that was going really. And to answer the other question, I am what’s known as a core, but where are you lot off to?” He introduced. Though before the blue haired doctor could answer, a voice rung out.
“They’re off to test with the repulsion gel, Wheatley.” Your voice ring out, and there you were on the screen, facing them with a hand on your hip. The core seemed the freeze up at your voice, which didn’t go unnoticed.
“Oh! Uh… hey… (y/n)… hehe.” Wheatley seemed uncomfortable at now knowing of your presence, before something seemed to pop into his head.
“But… without the portal gun?”
“You don’t necessarily need a-“
“What’s a portal gun?” Maillardet questioned. You heaved a long sigh and Wheatley seemed to brighten up.
“We’ll only one of, if not the, best things Aperture has ever made, of course! It’s this nifty little gun that allows a person to go from one point, to another in just a snap!.. If I could snap I would to punctuate my point-“
“What he means-“ You interrupted, “Is that it is a special device that allows someone to manipulate space itself by opening up a doorway - otherwise known as a portal - and go from an unreachable point A to unreachable point B… or at the very least a vision-less ‘someone’. We weren’t able to test on those with a vision… or any non-humans with human intelligence; such as Oni from Inazuma or Adepti from Liyue. But even then our knowledge is… limited…”
Wheatley stared at you as you explained the Portal Gun in detail, before scanning the group.
“Oh! There is a vision-less with you!”
Maillardet swallowed nervously.
“Here, you won’t be at a disadvantage if you let us give you the Portal Gun! No need to feel like you may be falling behind… bloody hell you might even be able to go ahead and be advantaged in this situation!” The blue eyed bot explained.
“Wait wait wait… are either of you… alive or uh..” Aether stumbled over his words before you cut him off impatiently.
“Yes we are entirely sentient. Now Wheatley, we can’t make these decisions-“
“I don’t know why you’re complaining. You’ve been moping about for years! All because you ‘don’t have any human testers’ and ‘robots were starting to get the same results’ and ‘humans unpredictability made them unique’ and-“
“That’s enough, you idiot.” “HEY!-“ “Fine. Here’s how this will work, so be quiet and listen.”
Nobody moved.
“We will give your little friend access to The Portal Gun, you complete a couple tests for us, and we help you leave as fast as possible. Deal?”
“Well it doesn’t sound like we get much out of that deal besides our assured exit.” Ei stated, and you groaned.
“You’ll have access to technologies that those above this facility have not had access to for years. Plus, this will practically be free training. Now do we have a deal?” Your impatience was starting to grow clearer and clearer with each passing moment.
“Well-“ “YES!” Maillardet screamed. He didn’t care. This was his chance to truly make a name for himself. If he was able to get this ‘Portal Gun’ outside of the facility, the things he may be able to do with that tech…
Everyone looked at him with shock - though Dottore was more amused than anything - at how fast he agreed.
“Great! Wonderful even! Here, just follow me through here and we’ll get you right as rain, isn’t that right (y/n)?” Wheatley glanced at you as he turned on his rail. If you could, you would’ve rolled your eyes.
They watched as the screen you stood on blinked off, and Wheatley rolled away.
Maillardet followed behind and the others hesitated. Though after that moment of hesitation, they followed behind as well.
₊‧ʚ・︵︵ ₊˚๑ ᕱᕱ ꒱✦ ₊ ︵︵・₊﹆ɞ‧₊
﹒˚ ₊ ︵﹒⊹ ๑ ︵︵ ๑ ⊹﹒︵
Instead of the grey halls and metal walls they had become accustom to, they were met with greenage and foliage on all sides.
Flora of all kinds blossomed around them, tress that reached higher than any of them could see. They all followed behind the humming core, until he suddenly stopped.
“Now, this is a bit awkward, but my rail system ends here. I’m gonna let go, but I need someone to catch me. Do we have any volunteers..?” Wheatley informed and asked. He looked around the group only to make eye contact with Dottore. Who was grinning. Sharp teeth fully on display.
“Uhm… anyone..?” The robot squeaked. Though the only one who moved closer was Dottore.
He sighed, then ‘steeled’ his nerves.
“Alright, I’ll let go on the count of three- NO, ONE! If I do it on three I’ll chicken out and… mmmm I’m talking to much aren’t I? I’m nervous because of the very real possibility that you may drop me. Not to say you look weak or anything, you actually look quite strong. Has anyone ever told you that? I mean, personally I would prefer to be strong if I had a body… On that note I wished they gave us hands. That’d be nice. Or a way to move while not on the rail systems. They can only go so many places and so far, you know? And some of them end in the oddest of places. I found one that ended over a bottomless pit. Isn’t that just insane? I mean-“
Dottore grumbled something under his breath before moving directly below the blabbering bot. Then he cleared his throat, and screamed:
“ONE!”
The high pitched scream Wheatley let out as he fell would’ve been able to convince anyone that he was actually a girl. Dottore’s knees nearly buckled under the sheer weight of the still screaming robot in his arms. After finding his footing, they all stared at Wheatley, who continued to scream for a solid minute before realizing he wasn’t falling anymore.
“AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaa…. Oh. You caught me. That’s a first- Anyway, directions! You’re going to want to follow the greyed out path through the green, and you’ll find a platform behind some broken walls and such. I’ll admit, when you get there it’s a bit of a jump, but I have faith in you lot!” He… grinned??? Well it was as close to a grin as a giant metal eyeball could get.
Everyone hummed in response and continued to trek on. Every now and then Dottore or Ei would ask about a type of flower or plant they saw, only for Wheatley to say he’s neither the flower nor plant core. Which led to Dottore asking about cores and Wheatley offering an explanation.
“Cores are… well to put it in perspective think of the basic parts of your personality. Of what makes you, you. Cores are basically that! We work as the pure forms of interests or emotions. Such as the flower core, who only ever talks about flowers. Or the anger core who… uhm… well. He screams? I guess?” Wheatley answered.
“So… what do you embody? Fear? Worry? Rambling?” Dottore asked, only for Wheatley to shout in objection.
“No! Absolutely not! None of those things! In fact, just for that, I don’t think I want to tell you.” He spun his eye around as to not look at the man carried him, causing Dottore to chuckle.
Maillardet suddenly shot ahead, causing everyone to quickly follow after. Wheatley seemed to understand why he shot ahead.
“There she is.” He muttered.
Just behind a wall, there it was.
Placed on a pedestal, vines and flowers grew all around in a mesmerizing pattern. A small hole in the roof let a halo of light fall onto the midsized device.
It was sleek. It was shiny. White and black mixed together in a perfect blend.
“Isn’t it beautiful? The pride of Aperture. What nearly all of our resources went into after its conception.” Wheatley mused. His focus was entirely on the gun in front of them.
Though his previous statement was true, there was a rather large drop from the platform they were on and the platform the Gun was on.
“You can drop me here.” The core suddenly spoke. Dottore looked down with a bit of a scowl.
“Weren’t you the one who screamed like a baby at falling only about four feet?” He asked. Wheatley scoffed.
“That was the make sure you’d catch me… anyway, I know I can survive this fall. I’ve survived worse. Just drop me and then jump down. It’ll be easier that way.” Wheatley’s voice suddenly got very serious. it lost its lively charm and became something more robotic… which was ironic.
The robot started acting more robotic, and they felt uncomfortable about it.
Dottore scoffed, then dropped the core without care. Though this time, Wheatley didn’t make a sound, just a small grunt when he hit the floor.
‘It can physically feel..?’ Dottore wondered.
Then one by one, they jumped down - Aether catching Maillardet - and began their walk over to the Gun after Dottore picked up Wheatley again.
“Hold on.” The blue eyes core suddenly spoke. His eye turned to a wall, and the panels suddenly shifted. A small control panel pushed itself out, presenting itself to the group.
“Plug me in there. I can make sure nothing hostile happens to pass by.” He explained.
“Hostile..?” Ei questioned and Wheatley, suddenly seeming very tired, sighed.
“Yes. Hostile. Just- Don’t worry about it, okay? I promise nothing will happen.” He glanced back at the group with a drooped eye. Dottore placed him on the panel.
Electricity shot out for a moment, then the core settled. He looked back, then without a word, got pulled back into the wall.
“It looks… so mesmerizing…” Maillardet whispered. He was the closest to the Gun. He hesitantly reached a hand out and touched it. Then, he picked it up and got a grip on it.
“I can’t say I’ve ever shot a gun but…” The mechanic pointed the gun at a wall, away from everyone as they watched.
He shot the gun.
And everyone watched as a pure black circle surrounded by blue latched onto the wall.
Everyone stood in shock.
He hesitantly shot right next to the blue and was met with a circle of orange.
Though now he could see through both.
And they reflected the room back to him.
He walked closer and looked through one and saw everyone looking back at him in silent disbelief.
He stuck a hand through the blue portal.
And watched his hand exit the orange.
He fell back in shock and everyone ran closer. They gathered around him, awe and shock written all across their faces.
“This is…” Dottore spoke.
“… A revelation.” Maillardet finished.
“Truly, isn’t it?”
The third voice broke everyone out of their stupor. They watched as the walls fluctuated and moved, opening the room up into another.
It was dark - pitch black, save for the screen that had only your figure on it. You stared at the group before moving your attention to the Portal Gun.
“Such an expensive piece of equipment it is… hopefully you understand what I’m about to do is only in your best interests.”
The screens blipped off, and a hole in the center of the room opened, a disgusting orange red glow emanating from it.
“Preparations Made. Systems Online. Ready For Emergency Long Fall Boot Insertion. Is Moderator Ready?”
“Yes.” Your voice rung out.
“Participant Ready?”
Before anyone could speak, you spoke for them.
“Participant is ready.”
“All Parties Set. Commencing Insertion.”
GORE WARNING! CONTINUE WITH CAUTION!
Metal wires suddenly shot out from the floor, causing everyone who could to summon weapons. Unfortunately, you had a plan for that.
Your wires shot out and gripped the visions on everyone who had one, but tightly wrapped around both Aether and Ei, quickly picking them up and throwing them into walls.
“Stand down, don’t make this harder than it needs to be.” You warned.
The wires quickly wrapped around the ankles of Maillardet, dragging him forward and making him drop the Gun. Kujo rushed forward but a wire wrapped around her and threw her to the ground.
“Last. Warning.” You said.
They were forced to watch as the vision less man was strapped down to a table that came up front the pit by those wires. Buzz saws and bone saws and needles and others rose from the hole in the ground.
Wires tore at his pants and ripped the boots off his struggling body.
“This is going to hurt. A lot. I don’t personally believe in anesthesia, but feel free to pass out.”
And with that, the first saw turned on and immediately buried itself in his leg, blood spraying and his screams ripping themselves out his throat. You could practically hear the tendons snapping as he cried.
It went until it hit bone, where you moved the buzz saw out of his leg with a sickening *squelch*, pressing the saw into his bone and quickly sawing through.
Everyone - of course, minus Dottore - did their best to look away from the scene, but Kujo couldn’t help the whimper that left her lips when some blood spattered on her face.
After bone, the buzz saw when back to work until the odd cut was completed. It was curved, leaving the front of the lower leg untouched, but the back - up to the upper caff - was completely removed, as well as the ankle and leg. Then the process started all over on the next leg.
“Did you know there was once a surgery with a 300% mortality rate? It was an amputation, much like this one, preformed by a Mr. Robert Liston over two hundred years ago. What happened was his patient died of an infection, his assistant also died of an infection after his fingers had been amputated accidentally, and a witness of shock after the knife came too close. Isn’t that interesting?”
Your words echoed through the chamber over the cries of Maillardet who just lost his other lower leg.
The two amputated leg parts were picked up by robotic claws which threw them into the hole below. Then, two odd looking boots were raised from said hole.
The class took the boots apart and began to assemble them on the man’s body. They were a solid white with black base and a weird black wire at rhetorical back.
The screams grew worse - then silent after Maillardet finally passed out due to pain - as the black wire - which was connected to the black base - was drilled into what was left of the bone. The wire was then shifted, then grafted into the muscle and bone.
The white part was reattached to the black, the straps tightening against what was left of the skin, before it was literally melted onto the boot.
The smell of burning skin, bones and blood filled the room.
“See, wasn’t that easy?”
His body was thrown off the table and next to the Gun.
The wires let go of everyone, and Aether landed on the floor, passed out.
GORE OVER GORE OVER! YOU’RE SAFE!
“Why aren’t my abilities working..?” Ei wondered aloud while helping Kujo to her feet.
“You think I wouldn’t recognize a God? News Travels, Beel. We have a few protocols in case a God were to ever wonder into our wonderful facility, but I don’t think I feel like telling you exactly what’s happening to you.”
She quickly looked up above the still open hole in the ground with a glare.
“Stop being a coward and reveal yourself.” She hissed.
“If you insist.”
The lights suddenly turned on, blinding all who were awake.
Dottore stared on in wonder at your body. It resembled that of a human who was suspended from the ceiling. Legs pressed together and arms bound behind them with their back to the floor.
It was the most beautiful piece of machinery he had ever seen.
You slowly turned to face them, the orange light of your eye glaring down at them.
“Let me formally introduce myself, this time without the assistance of a recording. This body you see before you has been dubbed the “Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System”. GLaDOS for short. Though if you prefer it, (y/n) is not off the table.”
“Where… is Wheatley?” Kujo suddenly asked.
“I figured you wouldn’t like him. How shocking you ask. But if you must know… You’re free to reveal yourself.” You mussed.
Silently, the core rode in on a rail in the background on a catwalk. He looks away.
“You’ve payed me back enough, moron. You no longer hold a debt.”
The room was silent.
He had… he betrayed them?
People he didn’t even know?
“… I still feel the itch, you know..?”
Your large head turned to face the blue eyed core.
“I know I’m not the smartest… but I still feel
The itch. It’s like it’s at the back of my brain… and you know what needs to be done to fix it. Please allow me to stay. I won’t… I won’t muck up as bad as I did last time.” His voice was barely above a whisper.
He felt bad and everyone could tell, but you knew that the need to test was able to push back all other thoughts. All other emotions.
It changed people. No matter if they were made of flesh or metal.
And addiction is an addiction. No matter what.
It wouldn’t go away with a bit of cold turkey quitting. That always came with side effects.
The silence was deafening.
If you could smile, you would.
“If you want. I may have final say, but my control over the cores is loose.”
Your gaze turned back to the group who had huddled themselves in a corner, glaring at you.
But you noticed Dottore was staring with less hatred and more… curiosity.
Like a child.
“You understand why I did what I did, don’t you?” Your voice was cold, yet still somehow held some kind of twisted warmth.
“It was to make him stronger. He can survive tests without a hitch now. As soon as he recovers, we’ll be able to continue testing without a hitch. You’ll each be given a relaxation pod while we wait. I’ll be holding up the end of my deal.” You turned away and focused on the screens behind you.
“What… are you..?” Ei asked.
“I thought I answered that question. I am GLaDOS. I am (y/n). I am the current head of Aperture Science.” You turned back to the group.
“And as long as you’re here under my care, I can assure you that we’ll have loads of fun.“
Everyone who was awake was suddenly knocked out by the gas you had been silently filled the room with.
It was time for testing to begin.
I hope this is good! Ima be honest, don’t know if any of the explanations for anything that was explained make sense lol. Also, don’t forget to tell me if you were okay with the whole (y/n) thing! ૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა
This is just in case nothing more gets requested: (y/n)’s transformation went like this: human (Cave’s assistant), mascot (first take on GLaDOS-like system, success), GLaDOS (Cave asked for them [they retained their human personality and memories as the mascot] to be GLaDOS while he was dying, like in the cannon)
Now I’m gonna spend some time on Requests! After which I’ll start on Mora!Creator! Again, I hope you enjoyed! ૮꒰˶ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ˶꒱ა˖⁺‧₊˚
And don’t be scared to request any Automation Reader (Executioner or GLaDOS) okay bye-

─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚.───
For Archons' sake, Gorou's a general.
Someone who has the respect of all that he swore to protect. He's the supposed "top-dog" soldier of Watatsumi Island. He built his reputation from the ground up, spent years upon years training himself to be the best soldier on the island. He's the number one supporter of Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Divine Priestess who entrusted him with leading her army safely through the throes of this terrible war. He's been told he was a humble leader, a man of sincere righteousness, a good person.
Internally, he knew that everyone had it all wrong about him.
They don't know that this man, this soldier, had become a disgusting degenerate of an animal.
Sick, sick thoughts filled his mind when the nights grew quiet and the bonfires outside had soon slowly burned out. The innate want — no, need — to breed, consistently grew stronger with each passing night; it was a genetic predisposition that he felt like he had been cursed with. If he thought about it for too long, he could feel himself harden and strain against the restraints of his garments. He'd get himself to the point where he'd slowly palm himself, his body growing warm and his breathing quickening, but he'd never finish. It was frustrating from the way he'd get oh so close but he just couldn't cum, no matter how much his cock was twitching or how much his tip was leaking out precum.
It was too shameful, too scandalous.
Gorou wasn't always like this. For the longest time, his urges had always been easy to control. His mind had always been focused on battle positioning plans and extreme training regimes, anything to get the upper hand against the Tenryou Commission. It was like everything in him was suddenly rewired the day you joined the ranks.
Usually it was not his place to oversee newcomers, the lower ranked captains were assigned for that position. However, Her Excellency wanted him to train this group of newbies this time around. She told him that it was the utmost emergency, resources and people were running low and she needed time to gather more support. Gorou would never refuse her request so he obeyed her command, preparing himself with speeches and strategies.
Very few people were willing to go up against the Shogunate and her powerful army; he was the one that had to inspire them and ensure that their minds were set for fighting for what was right. They had to fight, not only for the island but for the people who were currently being persecuted in the Inazuma mainland.
As he approached the training area while reading over the speech, he stopped dead in his tracks. A light scent, almost a sweet floral, lingered in the air. It was a complete contrast against the sweat and dirt so he followed after it, his eyes finally landing on you.
You were sparring with one of the other newbies, pinning him to the ground while laughing. You held your own well, the man was twice your size and there he laid in a dazed confusion. His tail fluffed up as he watched you get up and stretch, the disheveled training uniform pulling up and revealing the smooth skin of your stomach.
He felt himself swallow nervously as you noticed his presence, your body stiffening and going into the position of standing at attention. You were the only one to do so, the others scrambling to copy your actions as they finally realized he was watching them.
It was rare to see women in Watatsumi Island or in the village, much less so his age. Most of them either were dedicated shrine maidens, women who were already happily married, or the elderly taking care of their grandchildren while their parents worked outside of the island. To see you was quite a surprise, especially since the other trainees that surrounded you were all men. There was a small handful of resistance soldiers that were the opposite sex, all working alongside Her Excellency as her advisors.
Gorou had to regain his thoughts, trying to shake out your smell out of his head. He began to speak, slowly pacing back and forth as he recited the whole trainee speech in verbatim, finally turning towards them and saluting a dismissal. The crowd saluted in return, soon dispersing to carry out other assigned duties and he opened his communication box to send back a message to Kokomi when all of the sudden, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
It was the flower-smelling soldier, you. He tried not to stare at you while he was talking but your scent was so enticingly distracting, he couldn't help but take a few glances. You were even prettier up close, the particular aroma was even stronger as you stood in front of him.
"General Gorou sir." You saluted quickly, your posture unwavering. You positioned quite well for a starting soldier, color him impressed.
"At ease. Do you need anything—?" He didn't know your name yet, lightly trailing off. You seemed to catch on with his hesitancy, perking up immediately.
"L/N. Private Y/N L/N. And yes General sir, I would like to ask when will we be doing weapon and hand-to-hand combat training."
"In a few weeks. The skills that we will be teaching this week is all physical activity training. It's quite necessary. It would be pretty embarrassing running down the battlefield and falling just because your body can't hold up the armor." He heard you snort, your hands going over your mouth almost immediately. His face grew warm as he stared at you with wide eyes, your gaze casting itself to the ground.
"Sorry General sir, I couldn't help but laugh."
Gorou's tail started wagging, his hand immediately catching it before it could move any noticeably faster. With his other hand, he placed it on your shoulder and smiled.
"Please, you can just call me Gorou. I'm not fond of formalities when we aren't on the field." Your eyes lit up once more, that was the funny thing about newbies. They always look up to the more skilled seniors, especially if they were a high rank like him.
"Yes sir- Gorou." You corrected yourself quickly, causing him to chuckle. The two of you began to discuss, mostly small talk to fill up the time. It was supposed to be a professional conversation but the more he spoke with you, the more personal he wanted to be. The two of you were soon interrupted however, you were needed by one of the captains. He quickly dismissed you, not wanting for you to get any bad first impressions from his colleagues. He didn't realize that his tail had drooped down low when you disappeared from view, the fur flattened down completely.
As the weeks went by, you proved to be a diligent and hardworking soldier, carrying out tasks with no complaints. During his observations, you rarely had any struggle keeping up with the men, not that it mattered in the first place. You were more nimble than most during close combat and you did better with a polearm than a bow or sword. During those weeks of training, he was only observing you. He swore it wasn't stalking, God forbid.
It was innocent at first, what he thought about you. He liked you, he usually liked all of his subordinates but something felt different about you. Was it because you were the only woman in the ranks at the moment? He wasn't like this around Her Excellency nor her advisors, but that was completely out of respect. Didn't he respect you?
The realization hit him when he saw your hair down one night while making his rounds around the camp. You were returning from the bathhouse, most likely bathing after all the men so you could have the well-needed privacy.
You spotted him first, waving a hand from afar. He only noticed when the floral scent hit him, barely smelling the hint of soap along with it. He finally became aware of the fact that your hair was still damp, pooling down over your shoulders. The moonlight bore down on you, giving you a glow that was absolutely breathtaking and then you smiled.
You smiled and everything suddenly felt tight in his body, as if he was being restrained by his own skin.
Gorou was lucky that it was nighttime and he was a distance away. Any closer and you would have been able to see how red his face had gotten. He'd only seen your hair up, a military standard that must be followed for all who had a hair length that went past their shoulders, so to see you like this left him dumbfounded. He quickly waved back and jogged off to his housing early, feeling his heart beat hard in his chest as he shut the door harder than it needed to.
He went over to sit on his bed, doubling over as he clutched a fist over his chest. His body was warming up and it felt like he couldn't breathe, only able to take in quick, sharp inhales. His mind felt like it was all over the place but still was able to only focus on one thing: you.
It was unethical with what he was feeling. He could only remind himself that he is a general — a rank higher than most — and here he was, thinking about a private. You looked up to him, you were supposed to because he was your leader, your guidance in this kind of world. Yet the way you gazed at him with complete adoration and fascination, the way you cheered praises at him when he showed off during sparring, it was getting to him when it shouldn't. Others had done the same but when it came to you, he just couldn't have enough.
Gorou's body felt like it was on fire and he moved to lay down, wincing when he finally noticed that he was hard. This never happened, this never happens. Maybe he could just sleep it off. In the morning, all of this would be gone. These... feelings.
He couldn't relieve himself. If he touched himself and came, it would be considered a sin. He had no room in his plans to visit the shrine maidens and confess something so innocuous. What would he even say? Forgive me, for I have thought and climaxed to one of my lower subordinates inappropriately. He'd prefer getting incapacitated by General Kujou Sara than say anything relating or similar to that.
He sat up and carefully removed his clothes, shuddering as the chilled air touched his bare skin. The bandages that he wore in his lower half were still intact but there was a definite outline of where his stiffened cock was being restrained. Fuck.
Gorou hesitantly went to trace his fingers along the outline, barely putting any pressure against it before he sharply inhaled, looking over and seeing that he reached the tip. It felt good, the wrappings were thinner than he originally thought. Shame soon shadowed over him, his hand retracting to his side and clenching the once-neatly made sheets. He shouldn't be doing this at all. Not when the origin of this came from a subordinate, a subordinate he shouldn't be thinking of in the first place.
He laid back down and shut his eyes tight, ignoring the panging throbs that were tempted to be relieved. He wouldn't let this issue bother him, so long as he can endure it. If he started something he would regret, then may the fallen god Orobaxi strike him down mercilessly.
Days turned into weeks and then into months. No matter how much he slept it off, tossing and turning restlessly in his bed, he was never able to get you out of his mind. He tried to avoid you as well, attempting to limit the interactions to important business only but it seemed that luck had never been on his side to begin with.
It was you who was always initiating, asking if your form is right as you held up the polearm in a perfect defensive stance, making him come to you and press his body against yours to fix your positioning. It was you who was always questioning whether or not a planned attack was coming soon, eyes lighting up as he mentioned a hint of any sort of battle. It was always you. Even when he was trying to map out positions on where a possible vantage point could be in his housing, he'd hear you approach the door and question him about what was arranged for tomorrow.
Some days, he wouldn't let you in. Gorou would tell you that he's busy at the moment and like a good little soldier, you obeyed his request and began to speak behind the barrier. What you didn't know was that his hand was pressing against his bulge as you spoke, biting his lip as he tried to keep himself quiet. His high morals always bit at him, making it so he could never bring himself to finish, a painful shame bleeding into the depths of his soul.
Whenever he heard your voice, it was like something was injected into his veins every single time you spoke to him. Your smell was even worse for him, his tail curling whenever you passed by him. And those eyes, God those eyes. Staring at him like he was the light of your life, turning into little half moons whenever you smiled at him. Everything about you ignited something truly terrible within him and he was addicted, the feverish heat never truly going away as you finally left his doorstep.
Her Excellency was worried about his change of state, telling him that he can take a break if he needed one. She noticed the sweat pool and drip down his flushed out and dazed face, even when the weather was fair and he barely moved an inch besides the occasional shuffle of his legs and tail. He couldn't, he wouldn't, not when the war was still going on. What would she think if he confessed to her about what he was doing to the thought of one of her soldiers?
You were a compelling distraction. A small bump in the road, a large sinkhole that he was struggling to get out of, slipping in deeper with every miserable attempt. The constant arousal and burning heat had diverted his busy mentality, only focusing on how his cock was aching and stirring for any sort of release. It was to the point where he started missing out on his other job, papers and requests piling up on his desk until his incompetence began to not go unnoticed.
‘•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’
"My, my, my. I haven't smelled this kind of scent in years, no wonder my best writer has been slacking in his duties." A disappointed but amused tut had Gorou's tail bristling from the sound of a familiar voice, ears flicking and head turning towards the now-opened door. A decorative fan hid her face but he knew all too well who it was based on the red-colored shrine maiden outfit and the long muted pink hair.
"Lady Guuji! You're not supposed to be here on enemy lines." He got up from his desk and quickly closed the door behind her, nails digging into the wood as a pang of warmth ran through his body. Miko closed her fan and walked over to his desk, pushing and prodding papers around with it as she slightly clicked of her tongue. Shit, has he really been that distracted?
"Oh Gorou, as far as I know, the Grand Narukami Shrine sides with no one in this war. I just wanted to see why the aspiring Ms. Hina hasn't been sending over her column responses like usual, you know she's usually so punctual with her postings! But now, I can see — no — smell why." She sniffed the air once more, his cheeks growing redder by the second.
"It reeks of your rutting stench in here, would you be so kind and open up a window for me?"
He obeyed and barely cracked two of his windows open, his tail still puffed up with anxiety as she sighed with displeasure. "You can't just wait this out you silly little pup, you need a release in order for it to go away."
"Re... release?"
Miko blinked once then once more. As if she finally came to a realization, a smug smile grew, her purple eyes glowing with amusement. "Don't tell me this is your first rut, dear Gorou?"
Rut. He heard of it before, the desire to breed whoever his body had chosen as his sworn mate. His father had mentioned it long ago when he was a young teenager but he originally thought that he was excluded from the effects. Why did you have to pop up now, out of all times?
"I'm surprised that you haven't jumped on your beloved leader when it started, I must applaud you for the amount of self-control you have in yourself." Clapping her hands in false praise, he was tempted to snap back at his other boss for assuming that he would ever treat Her Excellency that way when a knock filled the room. Her attention was now at the front door, one of her ears twitching with interest.
"Afternoon Gorou! I have something I want to tell you, may I come in?" He wanted to tear his ears right out of his head, the same uncomfortable warmth bleeding through his skin like an infection. He could already feel the starting familiar stir within the confines of his bandages. He felt like screaming or crying, maybe even both.
Out of all times?! Miko made her way towards the door before he could realize it and nearly opened it, cracks of the outside sunlight peering through. His body collided with the heavy wooden door without him realizing how speedily he reached it, a startled and surprised cry coming out of the other side as he slammed it back shut. Fuck, you sounded so cute.
"Gorou? Are you alright?" You asked, concern lacing within your words and he chuckled internally, already imagining your eyebrows scrunching together.
"Y-yes, I'm fine! Sorry about that, I tripped on my... m-my rut— I mean my rug— yes, my r-rug." He winced afterwards, embarrassed of his unprofessional behavior. A stifled giggle was heard behind him and a low growl came out of him in return, blue eyes narrowed as he shot a look at the pink-haired kitsune.
"Um, okay. Is it fine for me to come in then?" He could feel his hard-on throb, the lack of touch and urge to be in something warm irritating him. Yet the Guuji was still in the room, waiting for him to be finished with this conversation, as much as he still wanted to talk to you. His forehead pressed against the door, eyes closed as he tried to imagine what you looked like behind there.
"No, sorry not today. I-I'm awfully busy, paperwork's been piling up." He was met with silence and then a soft sigh, the tip of his tail twitching.
"Oh. Okay, sorry to bother you again Gorou. I..." There was a light sound of shuffling and two turns, as if you had something else to say. "I'll — um — I'll ask you another day then. Good luck."
The sounds of dirt crushing under your boots slowly began to fade away and he finally let out a relieving sigh, laughter exploding behind him and suddenly all his nerves were on high once more.
"Hah! You haven't chosen the priestess, you chose a soldier. A nice smelling one at least. Why haven't you made your move huh? I'm losing precious Mora because of your interest in her." Miko teased, the sound of her sandals clicking on the floor as she moved around in the small space.
"First of all, I would be abusing my authority. I'd just be taking advantage of her and her respect towards me, God knows if she'd report me for being an absolute disgusting pervert." His fist clenched against the door, waiting for his body to calm down before he faced the fox yokai. Every little cell was begging for him to go and chase after you, to finally, finally claim you as his. A small voice of logic had still made its presence known however, whispering the futures of every consequence that could occur if he had chosen to follow his urges.
"Play your cards right then doggy, you have all the power and control compared to her. And it seems that your patience is waning thin." She ruffled through his bed and with the tips of her fingers, she carefully fished out a small piece of cloth from behind his pillow, a deep color of scarlet burning in his cheeks as he finally turned towards her.
It was an accident, he didn't mean to grab it when he was making his normal rounds. He wasn't supposed to be near the bathhouse but his thoughts were suddenly clouded with a searing appetite, one that he was unable to resist. He didn't even realize that he had grabbed the neatly folded white panty from the bench, his conscious suddenly clearing when the tip of his cock was messily spilling pre-cum all over it when he made it to his home.
Gorou snatched it from her and shoved it into his pocket, a furious snarl suddenly slipping through his bared teeth. He himself jumped at the sheer sound of it, putting another hand over his lips as Miko stared at him in shock before laughing once more.
"This is why I hired you, you keep surprising me general." She sighed pleasantly after, pretending to wipe a tear. She was extremely humored with his heinous actions, as if she didn't care at all that what he was doing was any short of shameful. Miko made her way finally out, her hand on the knob not before looking back at her underling.
"And Gorou?" He flinched, his shoulders tensed.
"Yes?"
"My advice is get rid of your rut, no matter what it takes. You don't want to hurt that little soldier, right? So get her in your bed before your instincts do."
‘•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’'•.¸♡ ♡¸.•’
Even if Miko had told him he should, Gorou couldn't bring himself to do it.
He had merely yielded, telling Her Excellency that he hadn't been feeling well recently and she agreed to let him sort himself through his "illness". She gave him some remedies and medicines, occasionally checking in on him when she wasn't busy planning. None of her treatments were working but she never gave up. News of him succumbing to a sudden sickness had spread through the ranks but their Divine Priestess had told them not to bother him while he was recovering, which he deeply appreciated.
He had locked himself in whenever she left, placing a chair against the knob to prevent any outsiders from entering and each of the windows were nailed shut. Even if he did open a window for a needed draft, he'd still be burning awfully hot. Plus, he didn't need the others to know why he was moaning and groaning in supposed pain. It sucked, everything about this sucked. Maybe if he had just a small taste of you, everything would go back to normal.
No. From the start, nothing about you was normal to him. Every time he thought about you, the heat would get worse and his already-sore dick would swell back to life. Were you thinking about him right now? Did you miss him? Gorou wasn't the type to get envious easily, but the rise of his rut enhanced those feelings to the max. He despised the image about you moving on to other soldiers, especially the higher ups. None of them were as kind and thoughtful as he was, clawing at his pillows at the idea of your sparkly eyes looking at someone else.
He couldn't do much to keep you away from those men, all he was able to do was finish up what he was behind with for Yae Miko and rest everything away, relieving what he can without a complete release. Would the ache go away if he finally did cum? Ugh, part of him wished she had explained this thing to him more but having your boss explain the birds and the bees for their kind would be horrifyingly embarrassing.
Nighttime rolled into the camp once more, his eyes shut in frustration and his hands restlessly grabbing and pushing around his sheets. He couldn't sleep, the pangs getting worse and his brain continuously fogging. If he went on a walk to try and clear his mind, he didn't trust himself not to walk into the sleeping quarters and not take you right there. So he decided to bathe instead, running cold water until it reached the right amount.
Since he wasn't on duty at the moment, there was no hassle in removing his garments, though he did keep the bandage wrappings on since somewhat helped control his urges. He carefully unraveled the cloth, shuddering as his already hardened cock sprung out of its restraints and lightly tapped against the skin beneath his belly button. Trying to ignore it, he stepped into the tub and sighed in relief as the water chilled his overheated body.
Only a few seconds passed by and he couldn't resist not looking. Observing himself, he felt strangely foreign seeing a swollen ball near the base of his dick as he bathed in the cool water of his tub. It was just as sensitive as the rest of him, exhaling a quiet whimper as his fingers brushed against it. As if something nefarious had suddenly grabbed ahold of him, his hand slowly wrapped around the shaft above the rounded flesh and began to stroke himself, the water rippling as he shivered from the feeling.
This was the first time he ever touched himself in this manner, his head arching against the rim as he tediously ran his thumb over the reddened, leaking tip. Despite the water, he could feel the smooth glide of the slick that was continuously leaking out of him. His canines gnawing at the side of his lips, eyes focused on the languid strokes. It was almost torturously slow pace, a building pressure forming at the pit of his lower abdomen.
This was bad, very bad. He needed to stop right now before he crossed a line into sin, an inescapable downturn into hell itself. But it felt so good, so so good.
Gorou panted, his mind forming the image that you were in the bath with him, that you were the one slowly stroking him off. He could feel the heat crawl up his chest to his cheeks, seeing your hooded gaze on him. Despite your training, your hands were always so soft compared to his callused hands. Was it because of the lotion that you used after bathing? God he missed your scent, the panty that he took was already losing your smell.
He let out a low groan as he thought about your flowery aroma and without thinking, he started to mutter your name. His hips bucked against his hand, the bulbous swelling preventing him from going further down to the base. With every rough movement, the water splashed out of the tub.
He imagined you teasing him, telling him that he's going to run the tub dry if he kept on moving so much. Still pretending that you were his hand, he began to pick up his pace, your name on his lips growing louder and louder. You called him a filthy general, asking him how he could think of you in such a way for a lowly soldier, simple cannon fodder. You then asked him why he decided to steal your used panty and he only could muster up a weak apology. He begged you not to tell the others, not to tell Her Excellency that he wanted you, that he thought of you for so long that it was poisoning him and his very soul. Gorou wanted you so badly but you were unobtainable, someone he could never touch. He loves his job, he really does but he loves you even more.
You finally kissed him, the faint traces of his ghastly imagination touching his lips. His pathetic chanting ceased as a blinding white painted his vision, his face contorting and crying out in agonizing pleasure. The waves of his sudden orgasm flowed through his veins as he gripped the side of the tub. He felt the material crack under his palm, bits of it crumbling onto his fingertips. His ears flattened against the side of his head and his tail had wrapped itself tightly around his leg, his breathing uneven and slow.
Gorou finally opened his eyes, his mouth still parted open in a quiet breathless pant as he looked down into the water. A white substance flowed around him, his red face contorting to mild disgust. Short feelings of drowsiness and a small sense of relief that the pain was gone ebbed throughout his body. He unwrapped his hand from his shaft, slightly twitching from the lost feeling.
In a slow realization, he then registered that the burning simply did not die out. No, it almost felt like it had gotten worse. The warmth crawled up his stomach and flushed around his face, the once-cold water now displeasingly lukewarm. He could imagine the sinking fangs of Orobaxi pierce his soul and label him as tainted, a sinner. A small part of him felt no regret, that this is what was meant to happen but most of him — if not all — had a sinking, devastated feeling. He shouldn't have done this, especially with you in mind.
There was a small knock on the door as he got out of the tub from his second bath, almost inaudible if he hadn't had these ears of his.
Weird. No one should be up around this hour, they would most certainly get in trouble if he catches them. He huffed, rolling his eyes. Pranking the sick general, are we? Gorou quickly wrapped himself up with a towel tightly around his waist, approaching the front door with light caution.
"Hello? State your name and purpose." He called out through the closed door, ears perked and twitching around for any signs of life. Maybe it was just a passing animal.
"Gorou? It's just me, Y/N. Are you okay?" Fuck. He's so utterly fucked.
"Uh y-yeah, why wouldn't I be? You shouldn't be out of the sleeping quarters, I won't be able to save you if you get caught." He tried to be as stern as possible but the growing mass underneath his towel was starting to make it difficult to think.
You softly laughed and he could imagine you shaking your head. "Don't worry, I'm sneakier than you think. And I wanted to check on you because I heard yelling coming from your direction. I... I got worried since you're still ill."
Gorou's heart was leaping out of joy. You were thinking about him? Of course you'd worry about him, it was part of your character wasn't it? He could feel his hands grasp at the chair holding the door, almost tempted to rip it out of the way.
"I know I'm not the best at medicinal assistance like Her Excellency but I want to help you. I feel bad not being able to do much besides train without your guidance." You quietly mentioned and his mind suddenly blanked, the heat crawling up his nerves and limbs.
"I do need your help actually."
"Y-you do? Well, I'll do anything to help you get better sir."
Anything, huh?
Gorou pulled the chair away from the door and opened the door, finally seeing you. The glow of his lantern-lit room highlighted your features, admiring seeing your hair down and your sleeping attire loose on your body. He couldn't be more grateful for your naïve willingness. His little idiotic soldier.
He grabbed your shoulder and tugged you into his home, almost slamming the door shut before you could have any change of mind. Your eyes widened as you soon realized that he was fully exposed, his towel barely covering his throbbing lower half. He let you drink in the scars and the muscles he's worked hard to achieve before he finally made a move.
"Wha—" Barely a sound was able to escape you before he collided his lips against yours, bodies toppling over into the wooden ground. In the haze of his lust, he felt terrible that you may have hit your head onto the ground but your mouth was so warm and your lips were so plush that all of his empathy was washed away.
His hands grabbed at the thin pajama pants the military provided for every soldier and ripped them off of you. He made quick work at removing his towel, his heavily aroused cock springing out and brushing against your covered cunt. He could see through hooded eyes that although you were most definitely confused, your fear could barely hide the arousal pooling behind your pupils.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He whispered frantically against your lips as he tore off the white panties, almost salivating as he felt his tip catch onto your bare warmth. A few ruts against your pussy lips and he could already feel some slick gather against his shaft, not knowing if you were getting aroused or that was just his own pre-cum leaking down and making a complete mess.
Slowly or at least, as slowly as he thought he was going, he pushed the head inside. A long and relieved whine came out of him and your back arched, body pressing against his as you cried out from the sudden intrusion. Swiftly, his mouth enveloped yours to quiet you down. It would be a shame if any other soldiers made their way to his home, but then again, he could make them disappear without a single trace left behind. Curiosity is such a fickle thing to have as a soldier, it could end them up dead in a nameless pit or in your instance, speared by a horny general.
His head threw back as he began to thrust shallowly in quick succession, the knot preventing him from going any deeper much to his displeasure. Gorou had never felt such an indulgence in his life, he thought his little session in the tub earlier was everything but this? He could live with the sins building upon his shoulders as long as he could relish in your warmth for eternity.
Your hands gripped on the rug above you, clawing and grasping at it for dear life, moaning aloud as his cock dragged against your walls. The blouse that you were wearing was slowly loosening with every sharp movement he made against you, revealing your chest that he could never bear to look at before. He peeled back the fabric and grabbed one of your breasts, squeezing once before leaning in and sucking on the pert nipple.
His tail twitched in bold satisfaction as you started to whine out his name, begging him to go deeper.
"Yeah? You want that soldier?" His voice rumbled against your nipple, feeling you clench around his shaft as he spoke.
"Y-yes! Please, please just a little more." Obeying, he snapped his hips harder against the plushness of your thighs, the knot pushing and budging against your tight hole. You hissed at the sudden realization of the circular muscle swollen around the bottom of his shaft, but you didn't try to stop him.
Would it fit? No, it had to fit. You will fit him. His hands grabbed your hips, pulling you in until you were flushed against his waist. His mouth left your chest, moving towards muscle in between your neck and shoulder. Gorou wasn't going to leave you unmarked, the whole goddamn camp was going to know who he knocked his pups into. It would serve some good to the island, Orobaxi would be pleased to have new followers right?
"Gonna fuck — hah — gonna fuck you up, breed you full of cum. You're my mate, mine." He growled into your ear before he bit down into your flesh. At the same time, he forced his knot into you and clawed the plushness of your hips.
Your pussy stretched and gripped around the enlarged knot, trying to accommodate the sudden thickness. He could barely see your eyes rolling to the back of your head as you came, your walls spasming and milking his cock for his hot cum. Wanton moans were the only noise you were able to make as he continued to fuck deeply into you, his tongue licking at the inflicted mark.
The same pressure in his lower stomach that he felt in the tub overrode his system and he pushed his dick in a little more, feeling the tip hit against a barrier. White stars blinded his vision immediately, his body shivering and shaking as he came hard into your womb. He took in heavy breaths, resting his head in the crook of your neck.
The burning was gone, he could finally feel the air in his room as it cooled down both of your bodies. It was gone but he wasn't done yet, no, he was far from it. Now that he had finally had a taste, he wasn't going to let you leave, not when he had bound himself to you. Figuratively and literally.
His pupils were blown out with pleasure, the blue color barely making its presence known as he began to kiss up your neck. You were barely there, eyes heavy with sleep but still groaning as he began to move once more, walls too sensitive to handle anymore. That's okay, he would breed you in your sleep if he had to.
" 'm gonna put more pups into you." His words slurred as he lazily thrusted, his knot pulling and pushing into a particular nerve bundle. You could only whine in agreement, completely engrossed and fucked out on his cock as you quivered from the stimulation.
Gorou will take real good care of you. What was he thinking before? A general always will need his soldier, what a fool he was for trying to believe that he never wanted you. A rope can only be tightened so much before it inevitably snaps. You belonged here in his home, warming his bed so he could take you whenever he returned from the battlefield. He picked his head up from your neck, kissing you deeply once more.
You were truly a heaven-sent blessing, weren't you? As fate may have it, he had hope that Orobaxi and Her Excellency would bless the both of you with a beautiful litter.

to most, being called into kujou sara’s office by the woman herself is a death sentence.
to heizou? it’s just another tuesday.
her face is harsh as she tells him to take this case seriously, that the shogun herself has asked him to look into it. the plain folder is unassuming, if a little more full than the usual cold cases he’s handed, but the intensity in sara’s eyes is enough to kill any sarcastic remarks.
he takes the folder with a nod and retreats to his office, brushing off some of the dust from his desk. he rarely uses it, typically just taking his work home and solving it over dinner, but this…
his intuition tells him that something major is hidden between the bland beige of the folder, that some large secret awaits him behind the chains of liars.
he flicks on the light—and sends a puff of anemo to clean off the bulb—and sits down, shivering slightly as he sets down the new case. he pulls out his notepad, and a pen—two things he hadn’t used in ages, preferring to keep information solely in his mind. still, he keeps one hand there, opening the case with the other.
green eyes flash with horror.
Tumblr media
its rare for heizou to be tired.
he’s usually good at pacing himself, even on the tough cases that make him want to stay up all night chasing something that’s just out of reach. even then, it’s rare something is both that complex and that appealing; what is a cold case to a genius detective, other than just another tuesday?
still, his hands are cramped—this is why he doesn’t take notes, he thinks—and he has a headache, probably because the light keeps flickering from disuse. his desk is covered with papers instead of dust, the remarkable amount of evidence the tenryou has gathered spread out. he’s long since abandoned the chair, instead preferring to pace around the desk, swapping out the papers in his hands as he tries to chase any lead he can.
anything to lead him to you.
it’s impressive, almost, how the kujou commission could list the exact time they spotted you on the docks, and yet never catch you. every paper is a lead, a small, hairline thread that could lead somewhere, but never do. a few link together—the fact that villagers in konda reported somebody of similar height and build running through the area, and wakamurisaka saying the same—but it was a whole lot of nothing.
it’s suspected you utilize magic. no further evidence.
it’s told you’re an alchemist. nobody says why.
he’s told you’ve somehow replicated a divine aura, something that should be impossible. nobody gives any reasoning for it.
it’s as funny as it is irate.
the light above him flickers twice, rapidly, then dies with a slow hiss. he sighs, throwing his papers onto his desk, and turns off the light switch. pulling open the curtains to his office does little, but it’ll have to do.
heizou turns back to his desk, reaching for his discarded papers, but pauses. in his anger, he’d knocked one page off another, ones he didn’t even know were stacked. he carefully pulls the new page out of the mess, moving near the window to see better.
and just like that, the listless threads coalesce into a rope.
heizou pulls.

watatsumi island is lovely year-round.
it was easy enough to get there, sara easily allowing him to travel after he mentioned it was for the case.
(it wasn’t easy, she had glared at him and threatened to throw him in front of the shogun herself if he was lying, but that was a pretty tame threat coming from her targeting him.)
showing up in front of the shrine out of nowhere would likely raise some alarms, so he opted for the waypoint by the village instead, gliding down towards the path. he walked quickly, opting not to stop and talk to (interrogate) the farmer he passed, keeping a quick pace.
the two guards usually at the entrance were missing, likely because of the higher profile target they were assigned to, but it was still eerie to walk in without any fuss.
the village was fairly empty, likely because it was approaching dusk, and he was able to move through most of it with little more than a few odd looks. it was strange; he’d walked through the village as a formality, but now he was wondering if he should have saved himself the time and gone straight for the shrine.
it’s only just before the bridge leading over that he’s stopped by a guard, and even then it’s only one. strange, as he could have sworn they patrolled in pairs.
the guard—heizou scraped his memory for his name, but came up short—planted himself in his way, tapping his spear against the path. “halt. what is your purpose here?”
“i’m looking for somebody,” he said simply. the guard didn’t seem to react, only staring and waiting for more information.
heizou sighed, pulling the official scroll from his side. he flashed the seal on it, “orders from the shogun herself. i need to speak with the priestess.”
the guard didn’t budge, though his hand tightened on his spear. nerves, maybe? but what did he have to be afraid for…
“then i suggest you wait here. i’ll pass on your message to-“
“hiroyuki? what’s going on here?”
he turned, startled, at the call of his name, and heizou looked over the approaching general. he didn’t seem to be prepared for battle, lacking his usual armor, but he could never be too sure. nonetheless, he returned the nod pointed his way.
“general gorou! what brings you out here so late? shouldn’t you…?”
gorou nodded. so they were hiding something. “i heard somebody from the tenryou commission was here and figured i should stop by. detective, what are you doing here?”
heizou crossed his arms, noting the lack of response. and they expected violence? “i’ve been assigned a case straight from the shogun herself, regarding the current… situation.” gorou’s ear flicked. “to be blunt, i’ve found that the likelihood of the fake taking refuge here to be rather high. i’m not accusing anybody of anything for now, it’s just a statistic, but i would like to ask a few questions.”
another nod. “i see. while i can assure you that nobody at watatsumi island is going against the creator’s orders-“ that’s a rather specific wording “-i understand your duty. hiroyuki, let kokomi know we’re coming.”
the guard gaped. “i- general, are you-?”
“go.”
a silent message passed between them, ending with hiroyuki’s nod and hurried retreat, the bridge swaying lightly as he rushed across it.
heizou watched, ensuring he was going to the shrine. “tensions high?”
“nobody likes seeing an officer around here. with me.”
his words were unnaturally curt, cut short like he didn’t want to talk. he got it, he was a detective for the shogunate that had stirred up some trouble before, but all was well that ended well, right?
(would it?)
he followed gorou across the bridge, noting the almost leisurely pace he took. clearly, they had something to hide, but was it what he was looking for? he didn’t seem surprised when he brought up the hunt…
and then there was the topic of his responses… ‘nobody at watatsumi island is going against the creator’s orders’ answered a total of zero of his questions, and deflected all of them. it didn’t specify anything about the shogun’s orders, nor did it address his accusations of harboring a fugitive. he’d be impressed if it didn’t sound rehearsed.
…’rehearsed’-
the guard by the waypoint nodded at gorou as they approached, shockingly not asking for identification. yes, he likely knew who heizou was, but at least for formality’s sake…
the air grew thicker as they walked over the bridge to the shrine, something heavy weighing on his shoulders. he thought it might be the humidity from the fountains, but all of watatsumi tended to be more humid anyway, and surely he wouldn’t notice now?
gorou knocked a pattern onto the door and heizou coughed as subtly as he could into his hand. the air was thick, taught with a tension he’s never felt and only barely remembers. it was something akin to an office of an authority yet without any of the bite, like he was facing something he feared but was overall harmless, his heart picking up as the air continued to thin-
the door swung inward, the smile on kokomo’s face not quite reaching her eyes. “welcome to the shrine. come in.”
the air inside was warm, nearly hot where he passed by kokomi. something about the room was wrong- right? he couldn’t tell, he could barely think over his heart in his ears, overwhelming familiarity dampening his senses even though he’s never truly been inside the shrine-
a hand landed on his shoulder and he jumped, turning to meet the priestess’ worried eyes. “detective?”
something was off about her. her hand, despite the cool silk, was warm on his skin. something about the concern on her face was familiar, reminiscent of someone he didn’t know but did remember. he flipped through his memory once, twice, three times, but couldn’t pin down why. the closest he got was when he was wished, when the light of his god burned bright in his soul and pulled him into it, leaving him stranded in a sea of stars and- oh-
’alchemy’ made sense now. it certainly felt like magic.
“i think…” his mouth was dry and the warmth in the air was localizing, pointing him past kokomi and towards a door. “i think i’m mistaken, priestess.”
kokomi’s hand fell from his shoulder, the trace remnants of divinity slipping away with it. how interesting, he thought numbly, that simply being near a god could imprint their aura into your skin.
“are you certain? you seemed quite convinced earlier.”
“no, i… i’m certain.” heizou’s hands flexed at his sides, his eyes flicking to the door without his meaning to. his mind raced, but nothing seemed to stick for very long, everything flaking away before he could grasp onto anything solid. “there’s no criminals here, least of all anything… fraudulent.”
kokomi’s eyes flashed. she shifted slightly on her feet, adjusting so more of the door was behind her, and clasped her hands in front of her. “i’m glad to hear it, detective. i send the tenryou my regards, and wish you best of luck finding what you’re looking for.”
he nodded again, sharp wit long since dulled.
“the best of luck to you as well, priestess.”

The soft rustle of parchment filled the air as Kujou Sara meticulously pored over the last of the day's reports. The sunlight danced across the pages, casting elongated shadows that danced in rhythm with her furrowed brow. With a final stroke of her quill, she set it down in its inkpot with a faint clink, signifying the end of another long day at the Tenryou Commission headquarters.
A weary sigh escaped her lips as she pushed herself up from her chair, the wood creaking softly in protest. Stretching out the stiffness in her muscles, Sara straightened her robes with a quick tug before reaching for the door handle. But just as her hand brushed against the cool metal, her fingers grazed against the crumpled parchment tucked within the folds of her sleeve.
Drawing it out, Sara's gaze flickered over the words once more, the contents of the letter already memorized. Retrieving the letter that had arrived earlier, her lips quirked into a faint smile as she read the news of Itto's recovery. The Oni had already left to get started with commissions as per Shinobu's information. If Sara's intuition was correct, she'd suspect that the Oni probably was helping with the setup of the Sakura festival in Amakane Island. Shinobu's assurance of his well-being brought a sense of relief, mingled with a hint of amusement at the thought of the Oni's restless energy already driving him to action.
A soft exhale escaped Sara's lips as she resigned herself to the inevitability of Itto's restlessness. It was a relief to know he was recovering well, yet she couldn't help but shake her head at his impulsive nature. With a steady resolve, she tucked the letter away once more, her steps purposeful as she made her way out of the Tenryou Commission HQ.
The journey to Amakane Island was uneventful, the familiar sights and sounds of bustling streets gradually giving way to the tranquil embrace of nature. As she neared her destination, Sara caught sight of Itto's towering figure amidst the sea of activity. The sight of him effortlessly maneuvering heavy crates brought a flicker of concern to her features, a furrow forming between her brows. Sara's approach was silent, her presence announced only by the soft rustle of wildflowers cradled within her grasp. As she drew nearer, the murmurs of the crowd ebbed into a hushed silence, gazes shifting nervously between the stoic demeanor of the Shogun's enforcer and the imposing figure of the Oni.
Tumblr media
But there was no hint of hostility in Sara's countenance, no trace of the stern resolve that often marked her features. Instead, there was only concern and admiration as she stepped forward, offering the bouquet of wildflowers with an outstretched hand. "Itto," she began, her tone softer than usual, lacking its usual edge of severity. "You shouldn't be overexerting yourself so soon."
In her other hand a small paper bag awaited his attention, its contents a mystery yet to be revealed. Closing the distance between them, Sara offered the flowers and the bag. "These... are for you." She tilted her head slightly, as she tried to get a better look at his expressions.

Chapter 6.
Tumblr media
Hours later you wake up again.
But less panicked.
You move to the side to find your purse on a table and reach out for it.
Looking through your bag you check everything and find only your phone missing.
Confused and tired you look around you if it was placed somewhere else but you couldn't find anything.
And Kunikuzushi was missing as well.
As you try to get out of bed the door suddenly opens. Revealing a woman with light pink hair and blue tips.
Another beautiful woman.
"Hello Y/n, I'm Sangonomiya Kokomi. Pleasure meeting you." She says with a smile.
"Hello Miss Sangonomiya.. Pleasure meeting you too.." You mumble looking into the distance.
Kokomi walks closer to you and looks at you for permission to sit on your bed and you grant permission.
"Just call me Kokomi by the way. I was sent by Gorou because he was panicking saying that he heard you were possibly being kidnapped yesterday.. Which turns out is true.." Kokomi sighs and looks out the window.
"The Tenryou police force found two bodies a few hundred meters from your phone.. Presumably the people who drugged and kidnapped you.. However they still need to run some DNA tests just in case. Though what the problem is.. They're from the Fatui." Kokomi says, watching my face as I gasp in surprise.
"What.."
"Yes.. The Fatui as you know are somewhat enemies of Inazuma but our Shogun, president Raiden, still has somewhat still been tolerating them as they are still diplomats in their organization that represent Snezhnaya.. The Shogun has strict rules for them, giving the authority to execute them if they commit a crime.. However in your case it's a bit of a difficult one.. "
"How so?" You ask in curiosity.
"Because they found your kidnappers dead."
Dead.
"Wait.. What..?" You mutter as shock takes over your body.
"Yes.. We don't know who killed them, that is the problem. They culprit left no traces so it's a difficult situation because yes the fatui broke the law so they would be executed Anyway but now someone else also broke the law however-"
"I understand. It's a difficult situation.." You say, silently wondering who killed your kidnappers.
"Only the throats were cut off by your kidnappers, leading them to a quick but still painful death.. They were found with a syringe and some fluid left on it. The fluid is now being identified to see if it matches with the ones that temporarily paralyzed your body... And more information can't be revealed until further details will be given to me." Kokomi sighs and you watch her stand up, adjusting her clothes.
"Oh and be sure to contact your friends. They're certainly very worried about you."
"Wait, so where is my phone.. You said the police found my phone right?"
"It's damaged. So the person who brought you to the hospital went out to buy you a new one." Kokomi smiles.
Your face turns red, realizing she referred to Kunikuzushi..
"He looks like a good guy.. You should've seen his face when I said you were going to be okay. He was almost about to cry." Kokomi chuckles as she walks towards the door of your hospital room.
"Anyways I gotta go.. I need to head back to Watatsumi prefecture.."
"You work there? What are you doing all the way here in Narukami prefecture?" I ask in surprise.
"Well I'm the president and divine priestess of Watatsumi island as well as the chief of the Sangonomiya police force." She explains and you suddenly remember the history between the Watatsumi prefecture and Narukami prefecture. "And as for why I'm here. I visited Narukami alongside Gorou and some other colleagues. They left early for their duties."
"Ah.."
"Oh by the way, one last thing." The rooms suddenly seems to turn colder as Kokomi stares at you. "Do you have any idea on who would kill your kidnappers?"
The silence in the hospital was visible. Kokomi had her hand on the door knob as she stared at you. However you were lost in thought, thinking deeply about her question.
"No.. I don't think so.." You admit truthfully.
"I see.. Well rest well and see you next time." She waves and leaves the room.
You watch as she closes the door and wonder why the moment was so intense just now.
However, what you didn't know was that someone else was listening in on your conversation with Kokomi.
Someone that Miss Kokomi called the Balladeer.
"So I covered up for you, happy now?" Kokomi says as she sits down on a bench where a male with a big hat was sitting, scrolling on a brand new phone.
"Good, and no charges will be pressed on me, am I correct?"
"Yes, I arranged that as well.." Kokomi sighs and stares at the sky.
"Well anyway, I have to go. Make sure to send me the files by midnight."
"I'll do so. Pleasure doing business with you Divine priestess of Watatsumi." The Balladeer slightly mocked but was still thankful nonetheless.
He watched as Kokomi left and stood up himself, dusting off his clothes and putting the brand new phone back in its packaging.
Tumblr media
"Hey Y/n.." Kunikuzushi entered your hospital with a shy expression.
"Uhm.. Hello.." You reply, also shyly.
It was an awkward tension as Kunikuzushi stood in the door opening with some shopping bags.
"Can I.. Come in?" He asks, holding his shopping bags in the air, indicating he bought you some stuff.
"Okay.." You hesitantly reply and look away out the window.
Kunikuzushi closes the door behind him and gently places the bags on your hospital bed and grabs a chair to sit next to you.
"So, how are you feeling?" He asks after a long silence.
"I'm feeling better.. I can use my arms again but my legs still don't work.." You sigh, thinking about how you were supposed to work without legs. "If I can't use them soon I can't continue working.."
"Don't worry about that." Kunikuzushi interrupts and you look at him in confusion.
"I can just give you money."
"What?? No, that's your money. You can't just give it to me!" You protest.
"But I already paid your hospital fees."
"What???"

yandere shikanoin heizou x shrine maiden!reader
wc: 1.3k+
cw: general yandere themes, some not sfw implications if you squint.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sir Shikanoin visits too often.
A thought that was passed behind the other shrine maidens' sleeves, in hushed but made for certain people to hear voices. Her excellency, Sangonomiya Kokomi had agreed with what used to be but local gossip at one point, too. The Detective's recurring visits might've not been so strange if this had taken place even a year prior ; when the borders of Inazuma were still open for trading ships and foreigners—or, when Sangonomiya was still yet to announce rebellion.
Perhaps, it might've not been as suspicious if the Doushin's visits were simply to admire the views of said island, which would be far more understandable (but still weird) logical even so, to the locals of Watatsumi. You could've also continued with your plain life watching waves gently touch the pastel shorelines as if it were a teenager too shy to approach their adored, resorting to stolen glances and sheepish, fleeting encounters.
You wouldn't have paid any mind to the floating words around Watatsumi at present. You wouldn't have had to suppress a scowl as the detective passed by in all his bubbly and unbothered glory or have had to be subjected to the unwanted spotlight when he (much to your dismay) turned around and waved at you with the energy of a gorilla. But you knew better. The Doushin's repeated visits shouldn't have earned this much attention, too. You wished so greatly that you could ignore it, ignore everything like you know he was as well. But you can't, you can't console yourself or the locals with ruses anymore when it seemed like Shikanoin Heizou's appearances were repeated solely for you.
You could've continued your training as a shrine maiden uninterrupted, hand not shaking at the fraction when lighting up the incense every morning, as another whisper is exchanged behind your back. You might've not had to worry at all when strolling in the streets, ignoring the judging eyes that drilled your form from all sides.
You might've not loathed the Doushin as much either if he hadn't been so hell bent on bothering you from day one, if he left you alone to your afternoon poetry reading. Things could've escalated differently if he'd decided to ‘sight see’ at another time than in the middle of a civil war and after the sun had melted in the horizon.
But as with many things in life, not everything goes your way.
You couldn't blame the locals or your fellow shrine maidens. It was only natural for them to find the Tenryou Commission detective's behaviors questionable. They were normal people thinking, well, normally. Who wouldn't find a detective of all people loitering about the island stationing the resistance and simply doing nothing but interacting with just a shrine maiden instead of, oh, they don't know, investigating a crime scene? Hell, him coming here to spy on the resistance would've been far more rational than whatever this was. But after some careful watching, the Divine Priestess herself had concluded that he had shown no signs of such intentions.
So then, what other option do they have left but put the other person in question? This, you understood very well. But merely understanding never eased anything for you. How would it when you were being accused of treason in your own hometown, by the people who you grew up watching all your life? Your fellow shrine maidens' favourite pastime was now talking behind your back, the bookstore from which you'd purchased so much was hesitant to even let you in and all the people who'd asked for countless favours were reduced to a mere silent audience (were you that untrustworthy?). And so, you now had no one to blame and hate other than Heizou himself.
Your gut tells you he has some sinister intention and a part of you believes it, too. But when her excellency had personally called you for an audience and asked if his advances harboured any malicious intentions, you had abruptly stopped.
True, the detective would always pester you for a conversation or to sing him a song and even though your intuition screamed that he had ulterior motives—you couldn't speak up. What would you tell her anyway? Even Lady Kokomi knew that the Doushin had yet to spy on or sabotage the resistance or even take any action regarding that at all. He never even asked anything regarding it to you ; no matter how hard you tried to think of something, anything your mind would only remind you of that plaguing smile.
Ah, no wonder you had nothing to refute the gossips, the whispers and her excellency's sincerest queries with. Because you were guilty, too. It takes two to start a quarrel after all. Your dread increases further once you remember not pushing him away when he leaned in a little too close. Truthfully, the air of Watatsumi would not have carried any whispers if you hadn't unknowingly indulged him either, if you had rejected his requests for a song or if you bit your tongue from laughing at his stupid jests.
You, along with everyone had been too late to realize the game the Doushin had been playing all this time—huh, it's as if you'd forgotten the very vital fact that he was, after all, a shrewd detective whose mind did not function all that different from a master criminal. That was the last thing that came crashing down on your confused mind before Lady Kokomi's pitiful blue gaze was all you could reckon.
The waves this night hit the coral shores with a force you'd not seen from all your years in this island. Since when did the sea get so bold? Or was it the wild winds that had given it that courage? Although you knew that it wasn't advisable to be by the shores at the quiet of the night, that mattered little before this nightmare.
What was to be afraid of now, the raging waters that seemed so ready to devour you, that lulled you to give up? Or the unruly winds that nudged you to give in, encouraged you to listen to the sea? Had it been the eery moonlight that made even the overlapping shadows visible? You knew you should've just headed straight to your quarters, locked and jammed the entrance with heavy furnitures and wrapped yourself in a blanket til this nightmare ended. You should've begged the Divine Priestess to protect you, to maybe send you somewhere far, far away where you'd be safe from the hands that now rested atop your shoulders in what you could feel was more of a mocking embrace and the face that was so close to your own.
“Yet you didn't do anything.”
You close your eyes, in hopes that the next time you opened them, it wouldn't be that cheeky, haughty smile you'd see first of all. But the symphony of the waves and winds altogether continued to echo in your mind, drowning out the painful revelation ; why did it all suddenly feel so welcoming?
A chuckle. One you know too well threw aside the fleeting peace you'd found and you feel something soft, like skin resting against your cheek. You still don't open your eyes.
Click.
From an outsider's perspective, this view would've been so ordinary ; just a serene scene of waves touching the shorelines and the moon spectating a moment shared between a detective and a shrine maiden—if not for your wrists that were bounded in a handcuff.
Perhaps, giving into the sea's advances and following the winds' guidance might not be so bad now—and maybe that's why you didn't shrug off his embrace, as mocking or prideful as you can sense it growing. You open your eyes just in time to see the waves subduing, the winds being reduced to mere breeze as if your submission to him were all they wanted.
How pitiful.

It wasn’t often that Heizou investigated something that didn’t involve people. People were simple for him - they were predictable, and even if they weren’t, he enjoyed figuring them out to crack open whatever case he happened to be working on.
The current case he’d been called to investigate, though, wasn’t exactly about investigating people. Well, it had been a part of it, but the people interviewed hadn’t been able to remember anything about the experience except for the general area they’d been in where their memory started to fail and their rather scandalous state upon awakening.
Heizou had dubbed it a ‘mysterious phenomenon’ in his notes.
More precautions should have been taken before Heizou had set out to investigate, but the recent lifting of the Sakoku Decree had the citizens of Inazuma on the edge and the Tenryou Commission was eager to extinguish the issue before too many rumors could spread. Heizou had readily agreed, the young detective always eager to solve cases that were out of the norm for him.
You had been roped into joining Heizou on his investigation by the Tenryou Commission in an attempt to show its goodwill towards other nations. You were a student from the Akademiya, here on Narukumi Island as part of research for your studies in the field of Amurta. Because you had been registered as currently residing in Inazuma, it had been easy enough for the commission to look you up and contact you - they had considered it the perfect opportunity, and you were remiss to refuse when they offered you a generous stipend to help your research.
You had mainly agreed because what information you had gleaned from the notes sounded like something you’d read about in one of your many textbooks; plants that caused potential memory loss (mostly recorded in those without Visions), increased heart rate, and a number of other things… including incredibly heightened arousal. It seemed to match up with the reports of the affected persons, so it was a good opportunity for you to flex your knowledge.
You and Heizou would meet up, discuss your shared knowledge, and enter the area from a safe distance to put together a clear picture of what was going on. Then, after a short study, you could inform the Tenryou Commission of how to properly exterminate what you assumed to be an invasive species without harming the other nature around it. You would both write reports, take a nice picture, and that would be that.
If only it had been as simple as either of you thought it would be.
-
Sweat beads at your temples as you kneel on the forest floor, chest heaving. Your heart pounds rapidly from within your chest as you try to gather your bearings to no avail. You look helplessly at Heizou, the detective faring no better than you. His carefully applied eye makeup was smudged and running down his flushed face, his eyes brimming with tears. It’s impossible, too, to ignore the tent in his pants and the damp spot that had already formed there.
[ Somewhere along the way, the information that it had rained in the area before had failed to reach either of you. Had you known, you would have set the investigation off for a couple of days. Rain affected these types of plants in different ways, and in this case, it had spread the plant spores in a wider area. That meant that your so-called ‘safe distance’ away was not safe. It meant that you and Heizou had been exposed to the offending plant the second you got close enough to the general area it had taken root in.
Well. At least you had been right about your theory that the plant was a particularly strong aphrodisiac. ]
“I can’t,” Heizou whines, drawing your attention to him. He’s flat on his back, hands clenching the grass as he writhes on the ground. The position makes the bulge in his pants even more prominent, and in your current state, it makes you start to drool. “Turn away, p-please,” he says, straining to keep his hands away from himself. “I have to… have to take care of it, I’m sorry…” His voice wavers and the mere implication that he’s going to touch himself has your pussy slick with desire.
You know exactly how he feels, of course - as if fire is engulfing every inch of his body. His mind, too, would be addled with lust and unable to think of anything but seeking relief. Worst of all was the agony of the arousal, almost like your body knew you had relief in reach but were refusing it. You knew, too, that it would take more than touching himself to even begin dousing the flames. Plants like this were incredibly powerful, and their effect on both the mind and body made them even more dangerous.
You know what has to be done, even through the haze of the aphrodisiac.
“Heizou,” you slur. You begin to crawl towards him and he practically wails out your name, his lust-addled gaze falling on you. He drags himself up from the ground onto his knees. “The fastest way… Most effective…” You struggle to get out full sentences, the haze of arousal scrambling your brain. “Together, we have to do it… together.” Your plea clearly affects him, the detective biting his lip so hard it bleeds.
“Please,” he starts. He swipes his tongue across his lips to lick up the blood he’d drawn, and you have to stop yourself from closing the distance to press your mouth to his. “I won’t be able to stop myself, I don’t want t-to hurt you.” Heizou tries to turn away, but he can’t tear his gaze from you. “You’re… You should get help.” Every word he gets out is a struggle. His eyes suddenly widen. “Not that I don’t w-want to- with you.”
Heizou’s admission doesn’t help either of your conditions. If he had insisted, you would have dragged yourself off somewhere to clear your head as much as possible before going for help… But he had unconsciously crawled closer to you instead, and every moment that passed continued to make the arousal burn brighter in both of you.
It’d be impossible, now, to turn away from him.
Once you’re close enough to touch him, there’s no more holding back. Heizou surges forward to press his lips against yours, his hands immediately darting out to paw at your clothing. He’s burning hot to the touch, and the heady masculine smell radiating from him makes your pussy clench hard, desperate to be filled. The kiss is sloppy, his tongue sliding against yours with no real goal, the detective nipping at your lips between swipes of his tongue. Any experience the two of you had is thrown out the door in favor of raw pleasure, your bodies chasing the most immediate gratification they can get.
The kissing isn’t enough, not when both your bodies are strung so tight that you feel as if you might truly die if you don’t get to touch each other. You break apart from the kiss and Heizou whines.
“More,” you say. “I need… More. We need…”
Heizou nods in assent and presses forward against you until you’re flat on your back, the effects of the aphrodisiac making the forest floor feel as soft as a blanket. It both heightened and distorted your senses, any discomfort apart from the burning lust erased so that you could solely focus on chasing pleasure.
With little restraint he presses your shirt up and nearly rips your underclothes off to expose your bare breasts, his head immediately darting down so he can take one of your nipples into his mouth. He sucks hard and you cry out, the sensation amplified beyond what you’d ever felt. Heizou plays with your other nipple, clumsily playing with the bud between his fingers. He lifts his mouth from your nipple with a loud pop before moving to the other one, taking it into his mouth and lathing his tongue over it.
It feels beyond incredible, but it’s not what either of you really needs - and it’s obvious Heizou knows it from the way he’s rutting against you, needy little whines dropping from his mouth while he works your breasts.
“Heizou,” you moan, drawing out his name. He glances up at you, mouth still covering your nipple, bright green eyes nearly engulfed by his dilated pupil. “I need you, need you to fuck me.”
That’s all it takes - he’s off your nipple and tearing off your pants before you can even think to help him. He doesn’t bother taking off his clothes, hurriedly dragging his cock out, his gaze not leaving yours the whole time. “I’ve been waiting,”  he starts, giving his cock a few sloppy pumps with his hand. You eye his cock with hunger, the head flushed an angry red and slit dripping with precome. “Waiting for you to tell me I could fuck you,” He kneels in front of you and practically bends you in half, pushing your back as far as he can go so that your pussy is fully exposed to him - his strength makes you whine, desperate to have him in the most carnal way. “Need you now, can’t hold back,” he breathes out. Heizou lines himself up with your entrance, and unable to hold himself back any longer buries himself to the hilt in one swift thrust.
“Oh, archons,” you wail, your hands shooting out to his shoulders to grab on. Heizou growls, huffing out your name. Any pain that would come from the sudden intrusion is negated by how wet your pussy is and the aphrodisiac. It’s euphoric, how good it feels to finally have something inside of you.
“Do whatever y’need to me,” Heizou slurs, using every bit of his willpower to hold on for one more second. “Scratch me, bite me… Feels so good. You feel s’good,” The second your pussy clenches down around him in response, Heizou begins to thrust into you in earnest.
Every nerve in your body is singing with pleasure at finally getting relief, the feeling of Heizou fucking you rivaling anything you’ve ever felt before. Deep in the back of your mind you know it’s just the aphrodisiac talking, but you can’t help how your body is naturally responding to him. You cling to his shoulders as he fucks you, your body unable to do anything else. The position allows him to fuck you hard and deep, and every pass of his cock feels better. The head of it presses against the spongy part inside of you and makes you cry out with every thrust - surely, anyone could hear you from miles away.
Heizou is no quieter - he’s shamelessly moaning, slurring out your name between thrusts and rambling about how good you feel - how beautiful you look, how good you smell… He can’t get enough of you, and neither can his body.
It feels like it’s been hours when it’s only been minutes, the bliss from the aphrodisiac muddling your perception of time. You don’t want it to ever stop. You could lay here forever with Heizou, letting the detective fuck you for an eternity. The aphrodisiac is only intensifying, the effects ramping up before they eventually begin to simmer down.
Heizou stutters and you claw into his back, a whine falling from your throat. “Don’t stop,” you say. He leans down, his lips a breadth away from yours, and you whimper out his name.
“M’not,” he replies. He begins to fuck you again, panting against your lips. “Just didn’t want to come, not before you.”
You’re amazed that he has the clarity at all to be so conscious of you coming, but your brain gives you little time to dwell on it. Heizou leans back and presses a hand between your bodies - and just the touch of his palm against your clit has you orgasming, the swollen bud hypersensitive from the plant’s effects. You grip his shoulders so tight that you’re sure you’ve drawn blood, his bare shoulders not protected by cloth.
Your reaction sets off Heizou, the detective biting his lip as he comes inside of you, cock throbbing with every pump of come that shoots out. His cock doesn’t soften in the slightest, nor does your clit feel overstimulated. The effects of the plant would run their course, and there was nothing either of you could do to stop it.
Heizou looks down to meet your eyes, his face bright red. His eye makeup, what remained of it, was incredibly smudged. His lips were bitten pink - he was the picture of beauty and unrestrained lust, and you couldn’t get enough of it.
Heizou thought the same looking down at you, unable to tear his eyes away. He begins to shallowly thrust his cock in and out of you, his body screaming at him for moremoremore- Your body returns the sentiment, pussy clenching down around him. If he wasn’t aware earlier, he was now - the aphrodisiac was going to take a long time to wear off, and if you didn’t appease its effects, it would be bad for everyone involved.
At least, he thinks, it was with you - the one he’d specifically requested out of both intellectual curiosity and personal interest. Not that he ever expected this to happen.
It was going to be an interesting set of reports.

"Thoma, please, have a seat, I've heard a lot about you both from Y/n and from other residents of the Ritou island. It's a pleasure for me to finally meet you. Y/n herself is not at home right now, but I think we can find a topic for conversation before she returns."
"Yes, you are absolutely right. It's nice to meet you too, but to be honest, I'm here on business..."
"Oh... Really?"
Your mother was a little surprised by this statement, because all the short period of time that she lived in Ritou, Thoma has never come with something serious. To be completely honest, the housekeeper of the Kamisato estate has never even spoken to her, and it's been five months. However, he got along very well with you and often came to take you for a walk in the morning and return you in the evening.
And everything would have been fine if he hadn't started taking you away from Ritou Island. This worried her, but she also understood that he had a certain influence and since no complaints or fines were received, she simply didn't know how to react to this and that is why she didn't raise a scandal out of the blue. But it looks like now she has a chance to find out about it.
"To be honest, I also have some conversation with you..."
"You have my attention."
"I recently found out that Y/n is leaving the borders of Ritou with you, and it bothers me a little."
"Actually, that's what I wanted to talk about."
"Then please continue."
"The reason I'm here now is because my lord and my lady have expressed a desire to take Y/n to themselves. Thanks to this, your daughter will be able to get a decent education, as well as move freely around Inazuma. The lord also stated that he agreed to pay you a decent amount of mora as compensation, if you wish."
Your mother was shocked by such a proposal, at first she even thought she had heard it wrong, but the more the housekeeper continued, the more annoyed she became. How could he even dare to talk so easily and simply to her about selling her own child?!
"Thoma, tell your lord that he won't get my consent and Y/n will stay with me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Thoma, I'm sure."
"Okay, I'll tell him what you said, but please think about this offer. The lord is not one to give up quickly."
After that day, you were forbidden to communicate with Thoma and leave Ritou as well. Housekeeper stopped coming to your home only a month later and during that month he made at least five visits with the same offer.
You didn't understand what was going on, but you saw how your mother was under pressure and how gloomy she became when Thoma came. Because of this, you were happy when housekeeper stopped coming to your mother. However, new problems have emerged. Suddenly, strange rumors began to circulate all over the island. People began to look at you with pity and regret, and at your mother with hatred and censure.
And right now you were devastated, standing on the street and looking at your house, you saw mom being taken away by the Tenryou Commission. What is going on?
Suddenly you felt like you were taken by the hand, you shuddered. It was Thoma. He gently led you out of the crowd of people who were watching your mother being arrested, and led you to the exit from the island. You stopped.
"What is it, Y/n?"
Thoma squatted down and looked into your eyes, you started crying.
"I don't want to leave..."
"Oh, Y/n, I'm sorry about what happened, but you can't stay here."
Taking a handkerchief out of his pocket, Thoma began to wipe away your tears. With one hand he held your head, and with the other he gently dabbed the drops rolling down your cheeks. He, not wanting to cause irritation on the skin, tried to do it as carefully as possible, without pressing hard and without rubbing moisture all over your face.
"Who's going to take care of you if you will be here alone? And besides, Ayaka and Ayato will be very worried about you. Although, in fact, they are already. Therefore, let's not make them worry any more and visit them, okay?"
You nodded weakly and Thoma smiled. He removed the handkerchief and lightly pinched your nose, stood up and held out you his hand.
"Come on now, you haven't been to the Kamisato estate for a long time and everyone misses you."

Tumblr media
an idol to the inazuman society, there isn't a soul among the islands that doesn't know of your voice and talents. that is of course not even limited to your best friend, detective shikanoin heizou - the man who you can't even remember befriending. one day it was like you'd suddenly acquired his genius intuition and witty remarks at your side, you could say like a sidekick but if anything, you would have been his. heizou is put on a pedestal regarding his skills as a detective - despite just being a regular doushin otherwise. sometimes you wonder how you managed to bond so effortlessly with someone at the opposite end of the job spectrum to you.
and when you call it effortless, it really was. heizou and yourself fit like puzzle pieces that had been missing each other - key components to the other. one time heizou had jokingly grabbed your hand in his, grinning as he threw out "snug like a glove" into the air but it was true, your hands moulded together so perfectly it almost fed your delusions about the detective in his absence. you could go days without seeing him - just like his colleagues - and in those painstaking days, you'd find yourself curled up under a blanket in your home, sketching every miniscule feature you remember of heizou into your sketchbook. you'd rather defy the raiden shogun than ever let him near that sketchbook.
thankfully heizou's keen eye and ability to read between lines unwritten means he is more than used to being a scapegoat for you when your so-called fans are more than rowdy after a performance. he's not surprised when you catch up to him backstage, smiling awkwardly as you greet him. he quirks a brow, almost waiting for you to request some absurd action from him like usual.
"heizou - my favourite friend, the smartest detective in the tenryou commission-" heizou clucks his tongue, folding his arms across his chest as he cuts you off with a grin.
"the only detective in the tenryou commission," he corrects you promptly and you roll your eyes in response - time is running thin as you hurry a glance over your shoulder, "what do you need this time?"
you scowl at the insinuation behind 'this time' and you're about to retort in all of your dramatic ways but there's hushed voices of fans around the corner and your heart is racing thousands of beats a second, virtually in your throat as you stare at him in a daze. you've long had a crush on this man, you ponder if he's already aware.
"they're coming," you breathe as if you've ran a marathon but your lungs simply cannot keep up with you, "kiss me!"
the request falls out of your mouth between gritted teeth but verdant eyes notice your panic and the shaking of your hands when the voices get nearer. he bites his tongue, swallowing so hard his adam's apple bobs when he leans to press his lips onto yours. what the hell has gotten over the both of you? kissing your best friend? but the thoughts wash away when it feels as it always does - natural. you mould together once more but it's not a platonic feeling and perhaps it's mutual when heizou sends a sharp look in the direction of prying onlookers, watching as they retrace their steps backwards and leave.
even in their absence, the two of you don't seem to part. in fact, shaking hands reach up to tangle in burgundy hair when heizou's hands grab at your hips, gentle as ever as if you're porcelain beneath him.
"all the suitors in that fan club of yours and you choose to pull shit like that?" his hot breath fans across your face and you scoff, eyes refusing to look at him in embarrassment.
"i don't want them," you utter, catching your breath from the borderline makeout session that'd just erupted in the corridor, "i want you instead."
there's a smirk on heizou's face and it has smug written all over it. you want to smack it off that considerably handsome face of his but his lips find yours once more when he mumbles "about time" against your mouth.

“Where has that sneaky detective gone?”
You grumbled to yourself. Of all the people in the Tenryou Comission, Sara sent you on a hunt to find Heizou and bring him back.
“If he didn’t sneak off like this, my life would be so much easier!” Much to your chagrin, you found yourself becoming Heizou’s babysitter. Of course, you would rather consider doing more productive work, but you wouldn’t dare anger the uptight tengu.
“Maybe he could on Watatsumi Island?” You wondered to yourself. “After all, that was where he snuck off to last time.”
“Looking for me?”
You yelped as a pair of arms circled around you, fitting snuggly at your waist.
“H-Heizou!” you blushed furiously. You flushed at the warmth of his body against yours, and the feeling on his chin resting on your shoulder.
“Oh, a little shy, aren’t we?”
You shrugged him off before crossing your arms. You swore you could feel a vein pop out from your forehead. “Don’t think you can flirt your way out of this! I had to spend my precious day searching you! Maybe if you didn’t go missing every now and then, Sara wouldn’t constantly demand me to find you.”
“What can I say? Wherever the evidence is, I follow,” Heizou shrugged. His eyes held a playful glint as he threw his baton in the air, twirling it with his fingers.
You huffed. “Well, you better follow me back or else Sara will give us both a beating.”
“Okay, but on one condition,” Heizou said. You looked back at him in curiosity.
“Can I get a kiss?”
You face twisted in a deadpanned expression.
“Ow! Okay, okay, I get it,” Heizou said, rubbing the area on his head where you smacked him. “How about this? If you hold my hand all the way back to the police station, I’ll come with you.”
You stared at him, your left eye twitching slightly.
“Please! It’s a harmless request,” Heizou begged.
You sighed. “Fine. But no funny business!” You wrapped your fingers around his palm and tugged him along. Heizou eagerly followed, almost as if he was a lovestruck puppy wagging his tail behind.

An easy case for a detective~
{Heizou x reader}
Tumblr media
Inazuma..
An Isolated Archipelago far east of Teyvat that has overcome endless storms. The people that have set foot on the islands have been met with red maple and cherry blossoms as far as the eye can reach. On winding shores, towering cliffs, in forests and mountains full of secrets, live people in peace. Endlessly worshiping their electro archon, Raiden Shogun.
Amongst those people are you, an ordinary person working for your grandma in her famous flower shop. People all over Inazuma came to the city just to buy fresh and beautiful flowers from you and your kin. They always said that your grandma’s hands were made by the god, The almighty shogun, because she always knew how to grow the best flowers and you loved to hear citizens cherish her so much.
Today was but a normal day for you, working in this little yet lively shop. Opening the wooden door, a familiar sight greeted you. Every day you felt like it was worth it whenever the scent of flowers hit your nose. On this fateful day, it felt even better with people greeting you on your way towards the shop.
Flipping the sign that states whether the store is open or not, you made yourself ready for the day. Eyes filled with joy and amusement whenever you find a new way to decorate the flowers.
Flowers were more than just decorations in your eyes, they held this certain power that made others happy and that is why people gifted flowers or liked to look at them. From a very young age you had always loved to see how your grandma picked and arranged the different flowers, she taught you everything and now you harbored the same love she had for them.
Twirling the flower in your hand, a liyuen peony called shakuyaku in inazuman, you placed it within a wooden vase. It almost resembled a bowl, but with careful inspection, anyone could tell it was a vase. Concentrating on everything you learned about ikebana*.
Sweat trickled down as you cut the stem from the delicate flower, careful hands moved as in a dance, eyes shining with determination, you inserted the blossom in the soil. Many stared as you worked, what better way to describe this scene than a magician showing magic? Ikebana is an almost forgotten art in the Inazuman custom, your family is one of the families that kept this tradition going with the arrangement of flowers.
If the Naganohora makes fireworks as a form of art, your family arranges flowers.
Many could continue to make poems about how the flowers bloomed in summer or how they wilted in winter, but no one could ever arrange a picture with the very flowers they describe. You could take pictures, but nothing could compare to art made by nature.
When you were almost done with the arrangement a crash was heard, breaking the careful concentration you had. Panicked, you looked up from where the flowers stood, and in front was a man with his face covered with a cloth. His attire spoke of a man of robberies, his ruff, and kind of lanky build furthered the picture that this man was dangerous.
“Don’t move or I’ll be forced to use harm” He said, his voice gruff. You shuddered and felt uncomfortable with this entire situation, but you couldn’t help but wonder what there was to steal in this small shop filled with blossoms.
The robber stole as much as he could, your priced vases, paintbrushes, flowers, and even the smallest amount of money in the register. It was rather uncouth and you were frustrated with this whole ordeal. The shop was left in shambles after he left, the bright and beautiful day got ruined by a mere robber.. again.
This must be the third time this month that your shop got robbed and no one took it seriously at the Tenryou police house!
That’s why you decided to take things into your own hands and walked to the police house once again this month. You knew that they had grown tired of you and your complaints, but it wasn’t fair that the thieves robbed the shop however they wanted and no one thought about you or your feelings.
You entered the station and left complaints but once again you only got an eye roll by the soldier who told you that a mere flower shop was nothing compared to the “actual” crisis. That was until this particular day..
……
" You don't understand, I can't afford to pay for what's stolen again! I'm working alone and can't just abandon my shop! Might not be a big thing for you sir but I'm trying to survive on what little money I make just like you!” you said, very upset, but it didn't seem to help no matter how much you complained. The man looked at you with a tired expression and sighed.
"Look ma'am, I have better things to do than stand here and listen to your worthless complaints. I suggest you leave this place before we arrest you and close down your shop. I'm sorry that you're getting robbed of things, but maybe you aren't capable of handling a shop." he looked into your eyes, stating how serious he was, but you couldn't believe what you were hearing.
All your years of serving the electro archon and her soldiers only to be looked down on like this. You bit your lip and walked out of the tenryou commission. Everything was worthless right now… Life wasn't on your side.
You came back to the shop and started packing some things in silence. Maybe the guard was right, maybe you weren’t capable of keeping a place like this active and popular when you were so unstable. Truth is that you realized this months ago when your grandma died, but you couldn't just stop! You needed money or else you would end up on the streets. There was no way for that to happen..
Suddenly the doorbell rang, bringing your attention to the door. There you saw a rather interesting red-haired man. His hair was tied behind his neck and his green eyes shone in the bright light. He walked inside and bowed a little.
"Good afternoon ma'am! My name is Shikanoin Heizou. I'm a detective at the Tenryou commission. I heard your little chat back there and decided to dig into the case. Seems like you've been there a few times but never been taken seriously."
Were you dreaming? Did someone come to help you with your small problem...? So life was maybe good after all!
You had to admit it, he was attractive as he stood there and told you about his small plan for catching the thieves and getting back all the things. You couldn't help but get lost in his green eyes as he never took them off you. They shone so beautifully in the sunlight, making you feel all kinds of things inside.
Ignoring that feeling since this was but a man you met a few minutes ago, not only that, but your entire shop was in ruins. Maybe the feeling you had right now was a thankful feeling! Denying the fact your face flushed and your heart skipped a beat whenever their eyes met.
“Thank you for taking the time to help me and my small family business,” you said shyly, feeling the tension and the fact the room grew a hundred times hotter you couldn’t help the fact everything you said came out a little hesitant.
“Man alive, you’re even cuter upfront! Either way, I found myself bored with the old cases Kujou Sara keeps on sending me. Your case on the other hand sounds interesting” His smooth voice spoke with confidence and eagerness to solve a case, perhaps he was born to be a detective.
“A small traditional ikebana* The flower shop got robbed, but not only that. The entire town has been suffering with robberies such as these, if I didn’t know better I would’ve thought that this was but a small case” He chuckled, and oh god that was so attractive, but keeping that thought aside you couldn’t help but feel curious about what he was saying. Small robberies have happened within this small and usually safe community, it did seem like a targeted case.
“Now that you mention it, isn’t it a bit weird that they’re targeting a small community such as ours?”
That seemed to catch the detective off guard, then he started to get a glimmer in his already shining green eyes! Snapping his fingers as if he had solved the world's biggest case, he pointed directly at you.
“Man alive, I can’t believe I missed this! A series of carefully conducted robberies have happened within Inazuma. What’s so special about these runts is that they only target small communities to not raise suspicion!”
He took your hands and you instantly flushed. Fingers almost intertwining, he sighed and blew air out of his nose looking extremely satisfied with his findings.
“This made things so much easier, we could track their next movement thanks to this discovery! Cracking a case such as this always gives me thrills!” He rambled.
A small giggle left your mouth, he honestly looked like a dog with how happy he got talking about “Solving cases”. His happiness seemed to be very contagious, soon you found yourself beaming alongside him and making your way towards the next location to find the robbers!
On the path that led you and Heizou towards the edge of Inazuma city, you found a small trace of shakuyaku flower decorating the track. Your heart clenched at the destroyed flower, you sincerely hoped that you would find the robber soon so you can teach them a lesson!
At the same time, you couldn’t help but feel lucky that your things got stolen, the time you spent with the detective felt magical and priceless. You wouldn't trade the small talks he would hold with you nor would you forget the face he had when you arranged a small flower crown within seconds.
It felt special that you had this detective all to yourself during that time, never minding the fact that the shop that helped you get through so many tough times is in ruins as you make your way. What was supposed to be a day's worth of travel turned into three days with how sidetracked you and Heizou got.
Asking each other questions, communicating, getting closer, and learning new stuff with each other. Having meals with him was probably your favorite time, but time was certainly not in your favor. You and Heizou found yourself in front of your destination with some treasure hoarders occupying the goods.
Heizou made quick movements and got them captured within seconds, it almost felt too fast and you couldn’t help but mourn the loss of time.
You wanted to spend more time with the redhead.
Either way, you felt thankful… You realized that you hadn’t paid him yet, nor had you thanked him. Heizou seemed to read through your train of thoughts and smirked a little to himself.
“How about a thank you date?” He cupped your face and his green eyes fell into a lock with yours. Face feeling uncomfortably hot and probably red, you could only nod.
The detective only smiled with his eyes closed and started to drag you away towards Inazuma city where the date could commence. He was rather shameless and very much a flirt, but this was something you got used to with the time you spent together with him.
It almost felt like a dream having him going on a date with you.
“Should we grab dinner before I show you my secret place?” He whispered. Your heart almost leaped out of your chest and you couldn’t deny it any longer, you had a crush on this very sly detective.
Feeling bold, You leaned in near his ears and whispered “I would love that”. The shocked face of Heizou had made it all worth the embarrassment!
Though you couldn’t help but have thoughts of doubts running through you, this didn’t seem like the first time he had been in a relationship or down this. Maybe he always offers a date after a mission to thank others and make them thank him.
This does sound a bit out of character, but who were you to say that you knew him better than he knew himself?
Either way, you were willing to give away your heart in hopes that he would gently give it back.
Dinner was spent with laughter and lots of blushing. You decided to be bolder than usual and fed the detective, catching him off guard and his flushed face was everything to live for. You felt pride that you made the shameless character break down into a flustered mess.
The food was divine and Heizou, ever the gentleman paid for the dinner. You felt a bit guilty and kissed his cheek as a way of thanks.
“Ps-s–kah I- You-! Hhhh–” his sputtering was kind of cute, hands flew up to cover his face, but the hands couldn’t hide his red ears and reddening neck. It’s your third time making him flush and it felt like an accomplishment!
To save his image he took your hand and started to lead you towards his special place, true to his words, it was indeed special.
A small meadow filled with flowers and he seemed to have planned this way before the adventure. It warmed your heart, but at the same time made you feel indescribably cold. This all seemed so prepared as if he had someone in mind and it surely couldn’t be you.
Moonlight shone a path towards the blanket thrown across the plain of green, the midnight air hugged your frame tight and Heizou’s ever-gleaming eyes put you in a trance. He made a small signal to make you sit down on the prepared blanket, then he prepared a flower pot and scissors.
Materials and items used for ikebana.
“Do you plan to show me how to arrange a pot? The promise you made to me during our trip isn’t forgotten, dearest.” He said, unphased by the fact he called you dearest.
Smiling you started to help him and steer, guiding his way on how to arrange the different flowers and how the different angles could mean different things. Slowly a picture started to form within the flower pot as two strong Peonies stood inside the pot with other blossoms surrounding them.
They didn’t cover the center flowers' beauty but gave it some privacy and wilted petals were thrown across the pot to give a sense of belonging.
It wasn’t perfect.
It wasn’t the best.
But it felt real.
The flowers told a story of a two people finding love within a wrecked environment, but with the help of each other, they managed to stay strong. The two leaning peonies looked so frail, yet with the help of each other managed to stand.
“You know, this was planned for someone”
Her heart sank.
“I saw them complaining to the tenryou commission and fell in love with them instantly. You could say that it was love at first sight”
Oh.
“Their way of speech, their way of movements, and the way they makes me so flustered that my smart mouth can’t even make a coherent sentence”
OH!
“Even under the moonlight with soil and dirt covering their hands…” He looked away with a flush, but steeled himself and looked straight into your eyes.
“You’re beautiful”
You knew that in the end, you could finally say that you were at your happiest moment. Lips locked and wind blowing through their locks, a care for this world long forgotten.
Like the peonies, they leaned on each other for support, and with time they would start to wilt… Together.
“I love you”
A shared look of compassion for each other within this land of eternity.
“More than words could describe, so the very flowers you planted shall be the witness to our love and make a story for the future generation”
His breath tickled her ears and they were left smiling under the moon's warm embrace.

My Saviour: Part 6
Tumblr media
Very fluff part, we might just see a first kiss happen~ Enjoy!<3
The events that unfolded after your parents’ crimes were revealed were chaotic at the least. The Shogun was infuriated upon hearing of yet another betrayal from such important clans. Upon further investigation it was found out that your parents had obtained the pills from the fatui, which added to the Shogun’s fury. After all the chaos the Fatui had instigated in Inazuma, she was very weary against any and every Snezhnayan diplomat and agent. Their crimes were revealed to the public, and they were made to walk from Ritou to Tenshukaku. This was done so that the public could hurl insults and curses at them. They were stripped off their dignity and worth. What happened once they reached Tenshukaku and faced the Shogun remains unknown, but it’s safe to say that you will never see them again.
While all this chaos was going on, Ayato kept you safe and protected in the Kamisato Estate. He knew that these events had caused you distress, and being out in public was the last thing you wanted. You were so grateful for his support. The day you had first set foot in his home, you were awestruck by how beautiful it was. While the Hiragi household felt suffocated and sophisticated, the Kamisato house was calm and serene, amongst nature and filled with such kind hearted people. You were welcomed with open arms, and you felt like you were finally home. You also received a great deal of support from the people of Inazuma, who admired your bravery and strength for facing the cruelties of your parents for years. It was safe to say that you had become a well loved and well known person within a short span of time.
A month had passed by now, and eventually the chaos had died down. Ayato had gone to Watatsumi Island to meet with the Divine Priestess Sangonomiya Kokomi after the tenryou commission messed up with the negotiations. The shogun, now only having complete trust in the Yashiro Commission, requested that Ayato personally go and establish peace between Watatsumi and Narukami islands. He was honoured, and after bidding farewell to you and his sister, had left immediately. He’d been gone for 4 days now, and although you missed him, you were so proud of him. He was the only man the Almighty Shogun saw worthy amongst all the clans of Inazuma. If everything went well, he would be home very soon. While he was gone, you took up the responsibilities of the Yashiro Commission. Ayato had taught you everything about his work, and he was pleasantly surprised at how quick of a learner you were. In fact, you would always come up with brilliant ideas and strategies which made his work easier than ever. He loved working with you, and he knew he had made the right choice in choosing you as his better half. You had earned respect within the Yashiro Commission as well, and everyone admired your ability to think quickly and find a solution for every problem.
Today was a free day for you, so you and Ayaka chose to take a walk in Inazuma city to spend some time together and even buy some things for yourselves. While you two were talking, you asked Ayaka something that had been bothering you for quite some time now. “Ayaka, what’s it like having a vision?” She was confused at your sudden question, but answered nonetheless. “Having a vision? Hm, it certainly is a good thing to have, but if I’m being very honest with you, I seldom use it. Why do you ask?” You looked away, sighing softly. “There are times when I wish I had a Vision too…not because I want the validation of the divine, but because I want to be strong..” Ayaka held your hands softly, smiling at you. “Hey, who said you aren’t strong?” You laughed softly, giving her a playful flick on her forehead. “It’s the truth! I cannot fight, I have never in my life wielded a weapon. I cannot even defend myself!”
Ayaka shook her head, not understanding what your point was. “But we have the Shumatsuban, we have the guards, and inazuma is at peace.” “Ayaka, you’re not understanding my point…We are noble women, and you know all too well that assassination attempts aren’t uncommon. And..I don’t wish to be a burden..I know Ayato constantly worries about my safety, even now while he is away, I can imagine him pacing back and forth wondering if I am okay or not..But it’s not the same when it comes to you because somewhere he knows that you are a master of Tachijutsu, you can fight to defend yourself. I on the other hand, need constant protection from someone else..”
Ayaka’s eyes softened, as your words reminded her of her mother’s. She always stressed on how noble ladies should know how to defend themselves, and she was the one who taught Ayaka the art of Tachijutsu. You weren’t wrong, she could not disagree with your words. “Well then, tell me this. Would you like me to teach you how to fight?” She asked, a bright smile on her face. “Ayato would be against it though..” “of course not! Sure he would be worried and try to change your mind, I’m sure he would understand. Brother would do anything to make you happy!” You blushed at that, and took her words into consideration. Learning how to fight would be very useful. “Alright, I’ll do it. But you’ll have to be patient with me, I don’t even know how to wield a weapon.” Ayaka was extremely excited, walking ahead of you to face you. “Oh relax! Now tell me this, what weapon do you wish to master? A sword, a polearm, a bow or a claymore?” “Hmm..a polearm is what Thoma uses the most, isn’t it? Honestly I’ve been drawn to it for a long time, I enjoy watching Thoma practice using that weapon.”
“It’s settled then! I’m sure Thoma would love to teach you how to fight! Besides, he is an amazing teacher and sparring partner!” You caught a glimpse of the radiance on Ayaka’s face when she spoke of Thoma, and it instantly clicked. Oh archons, she liked him! This topic could wait for now though. “Hey hey, slow down Ayaka, we still have to inform Ayato. I wouldn’t want to upset him or hide anything from him.” “Oh- my apologies, I just got so excited at the thought of you learning how to fight!” You both laughed, and proceeded to spend the afternoon chatting and shopping together.
It was now late at night, the moon shone brightly and lit up the dark sky. You were standing in the garden of the estate, gazing at the ocean and the stars, relishing the tranquility of the night. The past few months had been magical, and you had never been this happy. You closed your eyes feeling the cool breeze engulf you, and gasped softly feeling someone backhug you. “What-“ and then you heard the familiar deep chuckle, the voice you had been yearning to hear since the last 4 days ringing in your ears like the finest melody ever uttered. “Relax Daarin, it’s me.” You smiles happily, turning around to hug him. “Ayato! Archons I’ve missed you so..” He smiled, his heart filling with warmth and joy as he embraced you with love, hiding you in his arms. “So have I sweetheart. But what are you doing up so late hm? You should be fast asleep by now..” you giggled softly, snuggling closer in his embrace. “I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to enjoy the starry sky. But now that you’re here, the sky can wait.”
Ayato laughed at your words. God, you were so endearing that every word you spoke made him fall more in love with you. All the tiredness he felt before was long gone, you were all he needed. “Someone’s become a sweet talker~” he teased with a sly smile, making you blush. “Oh hush! Well, how was your trip to Watatsumi island? Did everything go well?” Ayato nodded with a bright smile, holding you close. “Yes, everything went well. Though the Divine Priestess was reserved at first, she accepted the proposals of the Shogunate and the Yashiro Commission wholeheartedly. Soon, she will pay a visit to Narukami island to strengthen the peace and trade between the two islands.” You smiled brightly, cupping his cheeks, placing a soft kiss on his forehead. “Ayato, I’m so proud of you!! The shogun will be very pleased to hear this.” Ayato felt his heart flutter at your words. He loved hearing you say that you were proud of him, it made him feel like all his efforts were fruitful. “Thank you my dear…Ah, this reminds me, I have a gift for you. Lady Kokomi was very kind so as to offer me to take a gift for you as a token of gratitude. I must say, Watatsumi Island has some very fine jewellery, and I bought this for you..”
You gasped softly as Ayato opened an embroidered box, revealing a delicate and enchanting ring inside. In between lay a perfectly carved heart shaped amethyst, surrounded with delicate crystals. The ring shined every time the moonlight fell upon it, and the twinkle of the amethyst reminded you of the way Ayato’s eyes would twinkle when he looked at you. “Oh Ayato…this is so beautiful…” he smiled, and gently held your left hand, slipping it on your ring finger. It fit perfectly, as if it was made only for you. He gently kissed your hand, his eyes so soft and full of love. “I’m glad it is to your liking Daarin”
As you looked at him; standing there looking at you, your heartbeat accelerated, and you realised instantly that you had fallen hopelessly, magically and endlessly in love with this man. He made you feel complete, he made you a better person. He had been so patient and loving with you, and now it was time that you gave him the love he needed. You stepped forward, cupping his cheeks being so close to him. “I love you..” Ayato’s lavender eyes widened, countless emotions clouding his senses. What? Did he hear that right? “Did you just say…” you smiles even more, being so sure and confident. “I love you Kamisato Ayato. You brought light into my life, you saved me from the darkness. Before, I was but a lone white canvas, empty and meaningless. But you added colour to my world, you painted me with your love and gave me a purpose. I truly love you so much, and I’m so thankful that I have you by my side..”
You watched as his eyes filled with tears, a big smile forming on his face. He hugged you so tightly, never wishing to let you go. “Oh my..you have no idea how much joy you give me Daarin…I love you so much too, I always have, and I always will. You are my everything and I swear to always keep you happy..” he then pulled apart, looking at you. Archons, you looked so beautiful under the night sky. He glanced down at your lips, and then looked back up at your eyes. “May I, love?” He saw the blush on your cheeks as you nodded shyly, making his heart melt even more. He held you close, first placing a sweet kiss on your forehead to express his love and respect.
He then pulled you closer, leaning in and connected his lips with yours. Both of your hearts beat in sync, and the euphoria that you felt feeling his lips against yours was unlike anything you had ever felt. His lips were so soft, his touch was so delicate. There you both stood, under the night sky, sharing your first kiss with each other as the moon and stars witnessed your pure and unending love. Your arms wrapped around his neck, while his were around your waist, wanting you as close as possible. This was the best feeling in the world. And as you both stood there underneath the stars, expressing your love for each other, this beautiful memory had forever engraved itself upon your hearts and souls.

So. The traveler in the archon mafia au. The twins are both part of the mafia and the traveler was sent out to check up on each nations mafia with meetups with dain after each nation, which are what the archon and interlude quests would become.
Mondstat: meeting with venti first the traveler uses the tried and true missing sibling cover story for why their wandering trevat, venti tells them that devalin is sick and they work togother to get the medicine to treat him.
Liyue: heading over to liyue the traveler overhears that morax was captured and is slated for execution in a few days, the traveler rushes to liyue harbour to hope to prevent this but when the execution is meant to take place and they cart out morax its revealed hes already dead, the milalith lock everything down to prevent the killer from escaping as they assume it was one of the adepti, possibly even the equally as feared conquerer of demons, alatlus. The traveler obviously attempts to escape so their mafia conections arnt discovered and are spotted and chased until childe shows up and drives off the milalith. The traveler then heads to junyun karst to find out what the hell is going on and to meet up with the adepti and while there they meet zhongli who explains that he wanted to take a step back from leading the mafia leading him to fake his capture and death. With the bonus of allowing them to pin the death someone causing problems for the mafia while raising the travelers reputation, and after disscussing for a bit everyone decides on osial and his wife as the targets to frame as theyve been trying to take out the adepti for years now, so the plan becomes for traveler and childe to pubilcly spar which traveler and childe fights to everyone else look like fights to the death and for traveler to win only for childe to retreat and break osial and his wife out of his prison in gunyun stone forest, the milalith and traveler work together to take out osial and his wife killing them who also get blamed for moraxes assassination.
Inazuma: once the traveler gets to inazuma and meets up with ei at narukami shrine they decide to send the traveler to watasumi in order to build rapport with them to hopefully merge the mafias together in the future. So the traveler and ei fake a fight that the traveler retreats to watasumi for safe haven from ei and joins up with them, they get sent to investigate the increased fatigue within the watasumi ranks which they 'discover' (read they already know about) are the result of fatui delusions¹. Kokomi then tasks them with shutting down the delusion factory where they meet up with scaramuche and report on how the delusions are working. Yae miko also shows up to take the traveler back to narukami island to deal with the tenryou commision who have started raiding houses and businesses to look for the raidens hq, traveler, ei and singora come up with the plan of having the tenryou commision headbe framed of working with the fatui and raiden and have the traveler fight them and then singora and ei which works.
Sumeru: heading into sumeru via the chasm the traveler meets with tingnhari who directs them to nilou in sumeru city, nilou reports that nahida been imprisoned and is being held in the sanctuary of surasthana by the akedemiya. Luckily nahidas public reputation as a peaceful enviromental protester has caused outrage within the population as to the public it looks like the akedemiya falsely inprisoned a protester that didnt agree with them, nilou is taking advantage of this to organize a protest of the rampant pollution and of nahida false arrest, and when that protest rolls arround it gos rather well until the end when the grand sage appears and declares it illegal to protest against the akedemiya, the protest disperses and then, the samsara happens. By the second time round nahida has already told the traveler and the gang about the samsara and that the goal of it is to try and get a confession that nilou and some others are apart of the mafia, and assuming this the akedemiya made samsara host is alhaitham who is one of the mafias inside men on the akedemiya, so they discuss what to do as they find out that the sages arnt recording until near the end of the loop when they break up the protest. So they break out of the samsara and meet up with cyno, their other inside man on the akedemiya to confront the sages about it when they encounter dottore². They have to retreat to prevent cyno from brutalizing dottore on the spot and head to aaru village instead, there they pick up some friendly eremites and raid the abandoned hospital stoping the experimentation going on there, they then head back and meet up with scaramuche and some fatui in caravan ribat and encounter dottore trying to get his hands on collei in the pardis dhyai and subsequently everyone beats the everloving crap out of him, the traveler, scaramuche, tingnhari, cyno, everybody there except collei and nilou who just holds and calms the former down. After they stick dottore in a tree they head to sumeru city and the plan goes similarly as it does in canon, azar gets put into a tree alhaitham gets promoted to grand sage, nahida gets released and pollution gets stopped.
Fontaine: going to see lyneys magic show with nuevellette and furina the whole water tank crushing a dude thing still happens and people blame lyney and lynette who they accuse the murder and of being apart of the spina de rosula, the traveler defends them in court and proves it was a suicide like in canon, after this nuevellette notices how stressed furina is about keeping up the act of not being apart of the mafia and the group including arlecchino, lyney, lynette, clorinde and the traveler come up with a plan to 'expose' furina as being apart of the mafia in court as a dramatic finale and it goes off well, furina quits her position after the trial and nuevellette continues to manage things as before which makes some people suspicious "if furina was the mighty focalors... then could the chief justice be her right hand ludex?? No that couldn't be right. Why would they hide their apart of the mafia if they control the government?" Is a common sentiment amoung those suspicious.
¹delusions in this au, since there arnt really any dead gods, are made from crystalflys, slimes and other elemental flora and fauna, they take more energy to use then a normal vision and cause people to become lethargic or bedridden if overused.
²dottore in this au was apart of the fatui until they experimented on collei and scaramuche which when nahida and ei found out went to the tsaritsa and told them what was happening who promptly kicked them out and issued a kos order on him, he then ran to the akedemiya to continue his experiments.

Honor is a touchy subject for you.
What is honor for an exorcist clan living in the modern world? Perhaps in Kamisato Ayato's era, your people were more widely accepted and respected as members of society rather than the outcasts they are today. If people used to treat exorcism instruments with reverence as they did back in the day...
Then maybe you wouldn't have forgotten where you placed the damn memory lens.
"Granny's gonna fucking kill me." You seethed at yourself, patting the covers of your mattress. Next time, you'll add some sort of tracking device for that thing once you find it– if you find it.
It's 4:30 am. Your next class is at 6:00 am and the Kamisato Estate takes around 15 minutes to commute back and forth.
You decided you didn't need to eat breakfast today.
With wobbling feet and weak eyes, you wandered back into the ruined place. The Kamisato Estate should've been preserved better with the tax money your community served it's government– but there hadn't been a good Tenryou Commisioner since 300 years ago. Reality makes you certainly wish you were born when Kujou Sara walked these uneven streets, rather, grassy plains of Narukami Island.
Modernization may have improved transportation, but it certainly abandoned all sense of nature and aesthetics.
It's 4:48 am.
"G-Good morning, I'm so sorry to bother you again."
And Kamisato Ayato's faceless apparition waited for you patiently at his front door.
He tilted his head.
"███ ██ ███ ████?"
You safely guessed that he's asking why did you come back.
"I-I think I left something at your place, may I go and take a look?"
"███ ████ ███ ████ ███ ████ ████." He chuckled. "███ ███ ██."
You bit your lip. You didn't quite catch that.
"I'm sorry. I'm not sure what you said just now."
"I ████–"
Kamisato Ayato curled a finger at you, urging you towards him. Garbled shapes that defined his mouth and face sharpened in your vision– but that crisp image vanished after one blink as if it wasn't there.
"COME IN."
