New Writing Characters!

I'm currently working on something else because my brain is obsessed with characters. (god save me <3)

In the setting of a cyberpunk city an era away from now, society has rapidly developed and continues to evolve as superheroes pave the way. The main character is a woman named Roku Antoiny, inspired by Roku and the rococo art period, specifically female artists and key figures such as Marie Antoinette. Roku is a dark ingenue and failed actress whose previous manager suggested becoming a vigilante and then using the fame from that, after a big dramatic reveal, to up her career.

Seeing that she has nothing left to do, Roku goes for it, becoming te heroine Rococo and working her social skills, love for disguise, ambition, and assortment of talents to bag future sugar daddy Harvey Caberval, who is inspired by the Baroque art movement and artists such as Caravaggio, a baby born on the coldest day on Earth and saved out of his mother's womb when she died of hypothermia. Harvey is a part-time streamer and businessmaker who is working to be the richest man in Vizja against rivals.

During Harvey and Roku's "Romance" period, the wacky, wider cast of characters is shown, including:

Hulu Rauslain, an african-american man inspired by a combo of Hulu and Dadaism artwork looking to settle down with his on-off again girlfriend, Ynesé, despite their combined commitment issues and the fact that Ynesé, inspired by surrealism, specifically The Lovers by Rene Magritte, permanently wears a face covering.

Youtu Shanowen, inspired by native american cyberpunk, a Choctaw woman and terraformist advocator and businesswoman looking to protect and create vegetation after the rapid industrialization, cybernetic shit of the Earth and other planets.

Flic and Net Parliaton, twins, F being a boy and N being a girl. Flic is inspired by recycling art movements such as El Anatsui, and is an activists who works with Youtu. Net is a classical musician, inspired by Afrofuturism, who shares a rivalry and enemy relationship with Roku since Roku was jealous of her.

Yuu Shunyoji, a frenemy of Roku since Roku is insane and insists on maintaining one-sided rivalries, and is also an actress. They/Them. They were inspired by Nihonga artwork.

Some Enemies Include:

Parmoretto Longneck, a rival of Harvey for richest man in the city and inspired by the Mannerist movement a la Madonna with a Long Neck.

Anghelward Helio, an aesthetic supervillain who wishes to return the world back to a previous state of technology, the 2020 era of technology, as he believes that the social, cultural, religiousness of the "now" is horrid. He was inspired by that victorian time period where artists were drawing the idealized middle age because they believed it was a golden time in british history.

Ono Girl, an abstract movement inspired that wishes to use Harvey's house as a part of her next performance art against the westernization of immigrants and commercialization of the now.

Ante Raphloral, inspired by Pre-Raphaelic Brotherhood which wishes to take down what he considers the "reality distorters" of truth: Actors.

These are not the only characters or only art movements. There's the Rayonist adoptive parents of Harvey and more characters coming along. These inspirations are also combined with different cyberpunk and cyberpunk related aesthetics like Steampunk for victorian characters and solarpunk for naturalist characters and such

[INTRODUCTION] Greetings, citizens of the Union and aliens of the galaxy. There are several updates, firstly the will of the people passed and we are now renaming the Interstellar Union of Replicant Colonies to the Interstellar Union of Combine Colonies, so as to better represent our citizenry.

[CONTINUATION] Secondly, we have recently discovered the Nillor Sector is home to an abundance of exotic gas sources. While at the moment only a few gas extraction sites have completed construction and begun production, more facilities including exotic gas refineries will be constructed in the near future.

[EXPLANATION] Our increased efforts in exotic gas extraction and production is due to the high demand across the galaxy for exotic gases. The Union seeks to deepen its interstellar relations and build a foundation of mutual aid and fruitful trade. For those who do not know, exotic gases are used for hyper-entertainment forums, organic paradises, energy nexuses, other advanced buildings, cyto-revitalization, advanced shields, advanced weapons, advanced research, terraforming, and more.

[STATEMENT] We held an mutual-aid & trade conference with like-minded civilisations, such as the @vakthar-of-song, @guildsre, @zangren-signal, the Bzadi People's Republic, @elepharchy, @darexirepublic, @kentiaenguilds, @kenjodanni, the Wano Confederation, @atharian-technocratic-republic, @alari-nation, @dharan-league, and @vegvasignal.

[OUTCOME] We came to a consensus with each represenative present. With most, we agreed to mutual aid missions on the basis of ours and others' needs. With some, we came to reasonable and fair trade deals for those who had a profit incentive. Until our operations expand, each of the mentioned civilisations will recieve one monthly shipment of exotic gases. And once our gas operations expand, they can expect those shipments to increase. Once the agreements were made, the represenatives talked amongst themselves on various topics.

[STATEMENT] According to our representative at the conference, Glombliggum Sopsaggos, it was a wonderful experience to be among so many libertarian nations, all coming to consensus on how we may better help each other in building a brighter future for all. The Union agrees with Glombliggum Sopsaggos, and hopes this conference is only the beginning, as our relations bloom into a beautiful interlink between ours and other free civilisations.

And on the bottom a Nebula civilian fighter. This is the very first ship you’ll find yourself in, it’s a civilian issue fighter, for folks with no money and a need to travel.

USCSS Covenant

The USCSS Covenant, registration number 274207281-1, was a United States colonization starship designed and manufactured by Weyland-Yutani Corporation to transport 15 crewmembers, 2,000 colonists, and 1,140 second-generation embryos across vast interstellar distances to the planet Origae-6. A year into its journey, the Covenant was diverted by chance to a remote planet on which the crew met the synthetic David 8, sole survivor of the Prometheus incident. Through a series of events, the Covenant was hijacked by David, who planned to use the ship's crew and payload in his continuing experiments with a mysterious pathogen.

The USCSS Covenant was designed in 2093, with its mission being announced in 2103 as a joint venture between the United States of America and Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The Covenant was constructed in Earth orbit and slated to carry 2,000 colonists and 1,140 second-generation embryos to the planet Origae-6, located Trailward from Earth in the remote Sector 87. Katherine Daniels, whose team had been responsible for locating Origae-6, was employed as the expedition's chief terraformist; her husband, Jacob Branson, was selected as the captain.

Shortly before its launch, the Covenant was besieged by a radical group dubbed the Earthsavers, whose followers believed that the nightmares experienced by their prophet Duncan Fields were portents of what awaited humanity outside the Solar System. The Earthsavers tried various approaches, first plying one of the ship's terraforming bays with explosives and threatening to detonate them unless the launch was halted; when this failed, a loaded shuttle was flown in a kamikaze mission to ram the Covenant—this likewise failed. The Earthsavers were rounded up by the expedition's security chief Dan Lopé and were later designated as a terrorist organisation by the FBI. After the delivery of ship's synthetic Walter, the Covenant successfully launched from Earth, with several of its crew members recording messages sent back to relatives and Weyland-Yutani. A celebration dedicated to the Covenant was also held on the vessel's bridge before the crew entered stasis for the journey to Origae-6.

In December 2104, still seven years and four months from its destination, the Covenant was struck by the shockwave from a stellar ignition from Sector 106 while recharging its systems via its solar sail, sustaining major damage in the process. In response, the ship's crew were awoken from stasis; however, Branson was incinerated inside his cryotube when it failed to open. The surviving crew managed to mitigate the disaster, although 47 colonists and 16 embryos were lost alongside their captain.
