hey, I just wanted to say how much I love your paint au fics. I don't know how to describe it properly but your writing is so ethereal yet grounded and I love that comfort yet uncertainty that Simon has (had?). btw if you get headaches a lot you might wanna try magnesium supplements before bed. i take a 400mg tablet thingie every night and its helped reduce my headaches (i used to get one like. every single day. and now i usually only get one like once or twice a week if that, barring Weird Circumstances)

i finally got to talk to the OT and the RSW today (ON MY FOURTH DAY HERE ?????? smfh) and they let me have clothes >:) and some markers and sudokus and stuff. still have the security guard following me 24/7 & can’t leave the ward or have shoelaces but whatever. i feel so much more human now that i’m allowed to wear pants

I'm just glad you decided to follow and hang around at all and that you're enjoying my work and watching my constant spiral deeper into my incurable brainrot 😂 You're not that late to the party though, I haven't been in the fandom too long-I only completed my first playthrough of BB in Feb of this year, but I have been churning out stuff for it ever since. Seriously, the world of Bloodborne has me in a chokehold the likes of which I've never known but I'm glad about it!! It's a constant well of inspiration and this is probably the most engaging, sweet and welcoming fandom I've ever been a part of ❤️

the idea of ryomina in a yuri on ice AU... i am SO here for that...! unfortunately i cannot add anything solid to the brainrot because i have not watched YOI (i have not watched a lot of things, actually). but!!! there's a certain joy that emerges from meshing two media concepts together and i fully support that!! 💛💙

that said, i would like to take a stab at the concept anyways with my ✨internet osmosis✨! i get the impression that the main chara in YOI gets into a slump with their figure skating career and the coach dude like... helps the guy love figure skating again? and i really like that kinda vibe, it kinda reminds me of ryoji helping minato live again in the third movie? those kinds of narratives are always endearing to me and i find that bonding over a shared practice (in this case ice skating) is just so!! (clenches fist)

unfortunately i've probably botched the concept SEVERELY due to my lack of knowledge (puts on a clown costume 🤡) but please know u have piqued my interest!!! if you would like to post abt it in the tags or perhaps in the askbox pls know that i am going to wave my moral support glowsticks.

rínien, my darling, is the youngest of the three. she is ten years younger than boromir and five years younger than faramir. she is a formidable warrior with a courageous heart and an extremely stubborn mind. she cares very little of lore, unlike faramir and their father, and craves the feeling of a sword in her hand or a bow on her back. she loves a good fight, no matter the odds. though, it is still rare and highly looked down upon for a women to be in battle. it’s one of the many reasons their father detests her. but boromir encouraged that side of her and taught her how to properly fight, just as he’d done with faramir when he was of age. he believed in her and never shamed or belittled her of wanting to fight for their family.

but more of rínien as a character, she is quite complicated. with her brothers and fellow gondorians, she can remain her true self. a bit boastful at times, especially after a few cups of ale, but she is known to be brave, unyielding, and dedicated to the people of gondor. however, when rínien is around strangers or potential threats, a wall is built within her. she can be cold, cynical, and often unpleasant to be around. it’s very difficult for her to place her trust in others. rínien remains guarded, both emotionally and physically, until there comes a definite moment where she can confidently call someone a companion or a friend. it definitely takes a long time for her to trust aragorn, but that’s a whole other discussion.

she is paired with another main oc of mine named arion. they are the embodiment of “he was sunshine, i was midnight rain”. he is first, and foremost, a true himbo. listen, i got a thing for himbos and it’s my fic so i do what i want lol. he was one of the free folk of eriador and became a ranger of the north when he was old enough. arion is as open and honest as they come. he is true to himself and shows everyone the kind of man he is. he is compassionate, selfless, heroic, humble, and so much more. definitely drinks the respect women juice as he should and bc i said so. while i still plotting to have all my ideas connect cohesively with each other, i do plan on having him and aragorn as a duo prior to the fellowship and having their friendship become a big part of their characters.

what i do have figured out is rínien and arion’s relationship. as aforementioned, rínien doesn’t trust people easily, meanwhile arion does. most of the time, it works in his favor. they balance each other out and compliment their different personalities. rínien can be distant, arion can be welcoming. and so on. they help each other through so much, especially after the loss of boromir and rínien, eventually, revenge arc. but they are so wholesome to me and i very much enjoy them!!

I know you don’t like wolfstar but I really do hope you give it a try. I’ve fallen in love with the author’s way to write Sirius after I read the fic. You’ll like it. i’m so, so sorry for taking such a long time with this but i really wanted to read the fic before i answered this and the last month has been absolutely hostile to fandom stuff. you were absolutely right, it is a beautiful story and i fell in love with the author’s writing by the time the first chapter was finished. it’s so interesting that u suggested this to me because i love the trope of james/jily coming back to life and kicking ass so this was right up my alley.

i know you talked about sirius but i have to admit, my favorite was unequivocally james. he was written with so much kindness and thought and deliberation, it’s amazing and not something i see often. not just in his povs, but in others too. the way remus talked about him for example, how he noticed the smallest of things and made room for him. or how he dealt with nymphadora. him and sirius and their closeness both as we see it and as others do. him getting the chance to be a dad, god. i was so so soft for all the harry & james scenes. lily was also so wonderfully written, it was really a treat. i loved that bit about james being soft and lily never making fun of him for it so fkn much.
