1. my cat, he’s the best thing that’s happened to me :] lately he’s been doing this thing where when my alarms start going off in the morning he’ll lay on my phone and/or snuggle up next to me and it melts my heart lol unfortunately I need to get up for work but when I do he follows me around and when I stop for a second he’ll flop over at my feet. couldn’t ask for a better way to start the day

2. a bookshelf—there’s like, hours worth of backstory but for my 22nd birthday my parents got me a floating bookshelf. I’d always wanted one and had even put tape on my bedroom wall like, four years ago where I wanted to put it. It took everything I had to not bawl when they installed it and every time I see it I feel loved

3. my little plant friend—that dude must be immortal because I’ve forgotten to water it more often than remember and it’s still growing, honestly thought it was fake until it grew out a leaf sheath thing

4. 12oz can of Dr. Pepper and m&ms—okay once again a huge backstory but basically it’s what ambrosia and nectar would taste like for me

5. a clear night with a new moon is always a reason for me to pause and look up but when I don’t need to work the next day and it’s warm enough to stay outside for hours my happiness meter fills up incredibly fast. I’ll never get over the wonder of seeing shooting stars
