Hi Meadow! To be honest I’m shocked I wasn’t expecting anyone to ask me anything lol

4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

For me it’s my backstory fic for Abigail, Jude & Zach which has slowly been developing in the background… Just an outline because of how long it is, it’s the longest thing I’ve been holding onto that isn’t like a nebulous idea. As for why it isn’t done yet: perfectionism. And I’m not sure how many people would actually care? So I’m still debating whether to post or just stew over it forever

Rice smiled softly, wiping an arm along his eyes, just managing to get out a quiet “thankyou.” 

“That means so much to me,” he offered a brighter smile, looking up from his arm, “thankyou! I will! I hope you have a wonderful day too!" He waved happily at his new friend, making a note in his head he probably did need to drink a little more if he didn’t want to end up dehydrated again.

Fire, Grass, and Sand for the elemental writing asks, mayhaps?

I am just gonna go with different WIPs since I can't stick with one.

Fire: What’s a scene that you are dying to write?

The scene I am dying to write is from a new WIP. The name being 'The Playground'. It's a scene where the main character meets her old mysterious childhood friend who protected her in a dangerous magical world. I think it would be really interesting to write because the childhood friend knows so much about the mc and the mc doesn't even remember them. Add in the mysterious childhood friend's energetic, fun loving personality, who is great wit kids and bursts into random cartwheels it it going to be complete chaos.

I love chaotic scenes, where at least one character is completely oblivious to the shit that is going on.

Grass: What’s the biggest change you’ve made in your WIP since you started it?

I am going with Defenders for this one. One of the main characters names Ren but she is going by Venatrix in Chapter 1, well my original version of her had powers and personality wise was completely different. Defenders went through a lot of changes over the years but I feel like stripping Ren of her powers was the beginning of all the changes. Ren was too powerful with superpowers and it didn't really allow the rest of my characters to shine. It was like the others were useless sidekicks compared to her. But then again I was twelve when I first came up with the idea of Ren. At the moment old Ren and and current Ren don't even look, sound like the same person.

Sand: What’s the softest scene you’ve ever written?

This one is from Orphic Academy. I actually haven't written the scene yet but I feel like it would be the softest scene I have written. It is mostly about a lesbian couple. One of the girls go missing and she misses the homecoming dance the other goes in search for her. After the find each other, I was planning to end the short story with the two of them slow dancing in a empty classroom after calculus and singing (awfully and out of sync if I may add) the lyrics of Cheap thrills by Sia. Then laughing and sharing a small kiss.

I don't really write that many soft scenes, I apologize if it isn't soft enough.
