Just binged the fic y'all made and I AM OBSESSED!! I've been trying to go through my week normally, but I keep getting random thoughts about it. There's just so much character to chew on and think over.

My heart keeps breaking for Dregs. It feels like she's on this constant push and pull between that empathetic sweet girl and a numb assassin...and the second side keeps winning because she can only see herself as sub-human. Willingly boiling herself down to one option in the present and another in the past.

Idk Maybe it's not what's intended, but the interpretation that she inhales more self-loathing than she does air and so keeps sabotaging herself really resonated with me 👉👈. I hope I could be clear with my very jumbled thoughts. Have a nice day!

The thing about Dregs is she still very much is the yns the boys knew. Except one thing was very very different and set her on a bad path. Sometimes the girl she was meant to be shines through but she is so traumatized she doesnt think she can ever be normal. Weve hinted vaguely at what happened to her to make her this way but you wont see what it was until the second arc.

Oh god, the house shopping hangout would feel like a whole date. I feel that the two of you would first list everything you needed, and then walk into the store full of energy.

Joshua holding your hand so you "don't get lost" in that giant place, and judging each piece of furniture together while choosing the best one for your home. Hear me out but I think he has the BEST taste ever. maybe a minimalist style, not too many colors and simple shapes.

oh I also think that during the the whole "date" in the store you two would appear like a married couple.

If you were shopping for your house it would suddenly become your and Joshua's home. "I think this couch is comfortable and large enough, it would be nice for me and you." or "I think you should get this bowl, mine for breakfast if it's broken". all advice that seems more for him than for you...

however, this boy would go crazy if you were buying items for when you two lived together; his eyes would be sparkling all day, and your hand would not leave his. maybe he might pay more attention to your tastes if it were for your home, but I'm confident that you two would eventually reach a compromise and accept what you both want.

honestly I can’t find a super specific situation but something of yours has to be an AU where they have a job not necessarily often explored in fic and every single character is a little bad and imperfect, the side characters are well written as well (Pecco is probably catching strays every now & then) and there will be conflict at various points of the story
