Can't stop thinking about reverse Scott Pilgrim au where Ramona has to fight all of Scott's exes, Punk drummer Kim, Megastar Envy Adams with an army of groupies, Femme fatale Lisa Miller, Jaded obsessive Knives Chau, maybe an alternate timeline version of herself.
And when she's all done it's just kinda Wallace standing there and she's like Wallace what are you doing, I'm meeting Scott's ex here and he just gives this sad shrug smile and she's like Oh and then he pulls out the baseball bat-
for the amount of time i spend thinking about erika ishii, i do not post about them NEARLY enough
everything i've ever seen them in, they have been fully dialed in. they understand the genre, they understand the character they're playing, and they NEVER. FUCKING. MISS
my current dnd character is actually based on multiple characters of erika's that i enjoy. my character is a witch (like ame of worlds beyond number fame [thank you to the witch class playtest]) but she is also a brewer who grows weed and shrooms, and deals them, and does them (and her personality is very much modeled off of danielle barkstock in dimension 20's the seven)
i feel that many of my favorite moments from erika are often focused on other characters. but many of those character moments would not have been possible without erika's incredible roleplay and sense for storytelling
and when the moment IS focused on erika's character? spellbinding. groundbreaking. from ame talking to orima in the overgrown shrine to danielle getting a nat 20 at the masquerade ball, i always fall into the scene and feel it so deeply due to erika's skill and poise and commitment to the story being told
tldr i think erika ishii is incredibly talented and wonderful
just for fun heres a little comic of a scene from @andiwriteordie 's fic i'll find a new place to be from!! it just felt SO in character i had to draw it out😭😭😭
anyway GO CHECK OUT ANDIS FIC its such an interesting take on how s5 could go, its incredibly hooking besides being insanely in character and very very funny GO READ IT NOW‼️‼️‼️
This is my piece for the Faces and Facades zine which has just opened leftover sales. If you missed the preorders, now you can get a copy! It’s filled with amazing art!!
was talkin to a friend about how tADC (good) was inspired by I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (also good), which unsurprisingly is a major source of inspo for MantleDwellers (hope it is good) too, doodled a thing,
The way they all had android phones makes me laugh so hard
After knives out the director told an industry secret in an interview, which was that you can’t let villains use an iPhone in your movie because they don’t want people seeing characters doing bad things using iPhones. Glass onion not only gets rid of the ability to tell who the villain is that way by making every single one of them terrible EXCEPT Blanc (who uses a Mac and is seen with an iPad thrown to him OFF SCREEN by Bron), but it also STILL TELLS YOU WHO THE VILLAIN IS BECAUSE BRON DOESNT HAVE A PHONE.
Thinking again about the fact that when Eddie and Dustin finally convince Steve to play DnD with the party, all of them, but especially Eddie, quickly become exasperated with Steve who has extremely high charisma, and decides that he can fix almost any situation by flirting with whoever they were in conflict with. Especially the fucking monsters, this man is bound and determined to himself a monster boyfriend and until it happens, he will make every single person they come across fall in love with him. So naturally, this happens a lot:
Steve: I’m going to flirt with them
Eddie, exasperated: Steve, you can’t date this monster, he’s trying to kill you-
All of the art we have for the journal so far, compiled in one convenient location! I'm a little bit confused since the Kickstarter says there are 12 arts, and they say there's only one more to go (making 11 in total), but hey! These are the ones we've got.
(Update: edited to add the Clary & Sebastian one that I forgot the first time)
Michael on the Zoe Ball Show this morning talking about David at the BAFTAs and I am dying. Notable excerpt:
ZB: "Ah, Michael Sheen, must say, well done to your mate DT at the BAFTAs."
Michael: "Ohh, he did good. The boy did good!"
ZB: "He did so good!"
Michael: "And he looks good in a kilt as well, doesn't he?"
So...ten seconds into Michael's appearance on the show and David comes up (on St. David's Day, no less). And apropos of absolutely nothing, Michael brings up David looking good in that kilt. Unprompted. For no reason whatsoever. I need to lie down...
