So when the Blitz was going on the Houses of Parliament got hit and the House of Commons in particular got wrecked. An incendiary bomb had fallen on Westminster Hall and the House of Commons and, essentially, they had to make a choice to either save the Hall or the Commons. Since the Hall was pushing 850 years old, and has the somewhat rightful nickname as 'the mother of parliaments' it was decided that age before beauty, and England is nothing but off the shits for symbolism, and thus, Westminster and its lovely wooden roof was saved.
Meanwhile Arthur's actual current main parliament looked...a state.
It's fine. Just needs a lick of paint.
Anyway for the rebuilding after the war a bunch of Commonwealth and Colonies gave 'gifts' to go towards its repair. Mostly ashtrays and inkpots of all things. Very necessary in 20th Century UK parliament. But obviously the big guys gave the best presents right?
Like I knew the table was Canadian Oak. I remember that's a bit of a thing they bring up from time to time. I didn't know the chair was a replica built by Australia nor that the doors were from India and Pakistan. Also don't mock the Kiwi boxes. They're fancy boxes
Imagine being smacked in the head by this. RIP.
Anyway because Arthur is simultaneously very boring/very wise depending on your attitude (and still off the shits for symbolism) they basically built the chamber the exact same as it had been, maybe a little less gothic fancy schmancy. A little.
But I like to imagine Arthur doing that constipated 'I'm not crying' look as they put a bunch of chairs and tables and clocks and furnishings back in. Every nook and cranny of his Parliament - the parliament that represents his people - is made up of items from those thousands of miles away. Mattie is there, Oz is there, India and Pakistan made their stamp on that building every-time someone walks through the door... It's inescapable, a humming presence of everyone he knows - and loves even - at the very centre of his being. Over time it's become less an exertion of a colonial power demanding gifts and more small acts to prop up a battered figure... Idk. A legacy of others - for better for worse - engraved into his core.

Would've posted the last update yesterday but I basically collapsed into bed the moment I got home, so y'all can have it now lmao. I managed to hold it together until around 9pm, at which point I'd been working for over 12 hours at that point, so I think I did pretty good. Supervisor hit us on the radio to tell us it looked like we wouldn't be done til past midnight, and we were supposed to be out of there by 10pm, so that was the last straw for me bc I just wanted to go home and I mumbled something about going to the bathroom so I could cry for a minute. Came back, apparently that was also the last straw for my partner who evidently knew literally the entire time bc dude fucking goes "so do you wanna talk or are we just gonna keep pretending you haven't been feeling like shit all day", I tried to downplay it, it didn't work obviously, he looked at me like 😒, you hate to see it. He wanted to make sure I wasn't actually gonna become a patient so he did a quick assessment, my vitals were ✨ abnormal ✨ which was fun. We didn't have to do much else work related the rest of the shift so it was nice to just vibe for a bit. Finally got to leave, partner didn't trust me to drive myself home that late while I was still running a fever so he drove me home, we got food on the way back, I showered, then immediately went to sleep after crying a little but bc everything hurt so bad lmao

one path i was debating, the one before bruce ACTUALLY breaks it, is he and khoa never have their snow fight or their rain breakup. they stick together, they train together, they STAY together because of the loop and the trauma bruce faced, the realization that he's in love. love has always fueled him and after losing minhkhoa again and again, after cradling his corpse again and again, he actually chooses khoa. he chooses to believe in his honey-promise of returning to gotham as men instead. and like.... that alone i want to write and but the time loop aspect can very quickly get sidetracked or forgotten about and like... NO idea how to tackle it with the skill it deserves lol

first of all i can explain skin color change - in lore people of Nox's clan, so the moon clan, have pale skin due to being active at night only, thus not needing much melanin to protect from sun. But them and sun clan originally come from same people and same lands, so if this to be removed moon clan's skin would be darker
Was experimenting with a brush and decided that drawing Nox in genshin-ish style would be a cool idea(specifically character icons style)
First is with my lore thing and other is if fully in genshin world
to add i imagine Nox as electro catalyst from Sumeru if he was in genshin world
