WIP excerpt for @qwertynerd97; Billy adopts Conner and it actually goes pretty good!
Lynn picks the smallest bedroom of the three, which Billy thinks is a little weird because he would’ve expected him to want either the biggest or second-biggest one, since the biggest is the biggest and the second-biggest gets the best light, especially in the morning. Then again, Lynn’s sort of a teenager, so maybe he wants to sleep in? And Billy guesses he probably doesn’t think he needs a lot of space, since he doesn’t really own anything much yet?
Well, they can always switch stuff around later if Lynn changes his mind, he figures.
Billy decides to take the biggest bedroom for himself, since that makes the most sense to him. It’s not that he needs the space either, obviously, but if they do end up using the spare room as a place for Lynn to do stuff he likes in, Billy figures he’ll appreciate having the windows in there while he’s like . . . doing crafts or playing games or whatever he likes to do with himself. Or ends up liking to do, at least.
He leaves Lynn to get settled in his new room and to set his stuff up however he likes and maybe move the furniture around a bit if he wants, and then peeks into his own room and feels a little . . . weird about it, actually. He hasn’t actually had a bedroom in a while, much less a bedroom that was really, like . . . his bedroom, and not just the latest foster family’s or children’s home’s or . . . or just whatever.
It’s–weird, yeah.
Billy stares into the very empty bedroom that he has nothing to put inside except his own half-empty backpack, which is currently sitting in a corner at the Rock of Eternity, and then closes the door and goes to wait in the living room for Lynn instead.
He’ll worry about the room later, he tells himself.
He sits down on the couch to wait and figures that once Lynn’s settled in a little, they can make lunch together, maybe, and then maybe just watch some TV or a movie or something? Something quiet and not too demanding but still occupying, so there’s no pressure on Lynn to talk to him if he doesn’t wanna, but he can if he does wanna. And then maybe over dinner they can have the “no” conversation, and also work out some of the house rules and stuff. At least the basics, anyway. Billy doesn’t expect to figure them all out first thing, if only because there’s probably stuff he hasn’t thought of yet or stuff that’ll just come up later. And it’s a lot to put on Lynn all at once, too, so he doesn’t want to overwhelm him or anything.
Well, he guess it’ll just depend on how Lynn handles those conversations and everything, so . . . yeah, they’ll just have to play it by ear. They’ve got some time to settle in–Billy’s off-duty for the League for the week and the logistics for the sidekicks’ team are still getting worked out, apparently, so Lynn is too–so they don’t have to cover everything tonight. They couldn’t even if they tried, Billy’s pretty sure.
He really wants to make this apartment a nice home for Lynn and a place that he can feel safe and secure in, though. He’s worried about what’ll happen if Lynn doesn’t ever feel comfortable here, or doesn’t get along with him long-term, or if he dies–who’ll take care of Lynn if he dies, he means. He still needs to talk to Batman about that.
Billy did ask what would happen to Lynn if he dies to Batman when they were first discussing all this, since obviously being a superhero is the kind of job that tends to get people killed or at least injured enough to be out of commission for a while, and Batman had gotten very quiet for a moment and hadn’t really answered. He’d said they’d talk about it more later, though, depending on who else in the League Lynn got to know and felt comfortable around. So . . . that’s good, at least, Billy thinks.
Well–it’s better than Lynn ever ending up stuck with or taken advantage of by some asshole like Uncle Eben, so . . . it’s good, yeah. Not that anybody in the League would ever be like that, obviously, just–yeah.
Billy just doesn’t like the thought, that’s all.
Really doesn’t like the thought.
Lynn doesn’t come out of his room for a lot longer than just rearranging some furniture and unpacking half a backpack should take, and lunchtime kind of passes by. Billy assumes Lynn’s just anxious or worried or nervous, at first, and then wonders–does Lynn know he can come out of his room? If he spent all his time at Cadmus stuck in a pod and not allowed to come out for anything . . .
Shit, Billy thinks, and tries not to wince.
“Lynn?” he asks, glancing down the hall towards Lynn’s room but not bothering to raise his voice–Lynn has super-hearing too, after all, so there’s no reason to shout and maybe startle him. “Do you want to make lunch together in a bit? Oh! Or we could order takeout, since it’s kind of a special occasion?”
“. . . what’s a special occasion?” Lynn asks quietly, not raising his voice either. He sounds like he’s in his closet, so Billy guesses he’s still unpacking after all.
“Um, well,” Billy says, a little sheepish. “People don’t get new family members every day, right? So I think it’s special, at least.”
“Oh,” Lynn says. “Um. Yeah. Okay. Let’s do . . . that.”
“Cool,” Billy says with a grin, resisting the urge to bounce in his seat on the couch. Not very convincingly dad-like, even if Lynn isn’t in here to see him right now. He still wants to make sure he’s acting as dad-ly as he can; get himself in the habit and all, same as the “totally normal adult human” secret identity practice. “I know some good local places, if you know what kind of food you like yet?”
“The snack cake,” Lynn replies, his voice still quiet, but also a little abrupt. He doesn’t say anything else. It’s not much to go off, but Billy figures it’s a start. It’s not like Lynn’s had time to try much food, right? But the snack cake was strawberry shortcake, and he’s pretty sure the diner a couple blocks over makes actual strawberry shortcake, so they could order from there and get some for dessert? And maybe, like, some pie or cobbler or something else that Lynn could try, if he likes sweet things and fruity desserts.
“How about we order burgers or sandwiches, then?” Billy suggests. “I know a diner that makes strawberry shortcake that’s pretty close.” He doesn’t really eat at restaurants, usually, but Batman did give them a lot of money and it is a special occasion, so . . .
“. . . fine,” Lynn says, and then Billy hears the closet door slide shut.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement, but it’s not a “no” either. Which, uh . . . might still not be really “fine” or really “no”, but–well, they’re gonna work on that.

Explanation below : [It is long]
Bobby Bearhug :
Picky is nice. She likes to go over and eat at her house every once and a while, even helping her make food sometimes! She's kind, but can be a bit rough at times... Catnap is strange, that's the best way she can put it. He's not bad! She knows he's not very talkative, so she doesn't force him to talk. She also makes sure he's ok with her daily hugs, though she can be forgetful. And when she can't sleep... He's. ALWAYS THERE. Crafty! Her best friend ever! First person she met actually! She LOVES giving her hugs and complimenting her on her art when she can. She's such a talented artist! Bubba can be a bit much sometimes, but she doesn't mind at all. She listens to him talk on, and then she can share info she knows! But... She's a bit worried though, knowing the elephant, he stays up very often. Why he stays up, she doesn't know... She just hopes he's ok. Hoppy... Oh Hoppy. Where does she start? She's always at her games to cheer her on, even if she loses, she's there to congratulate her on being so cool! She loves watching her run around, kick the ball, everytime she cheers when she scores... It makes her heart soar!! ❤ She knows it's love, but she doesn't know how to tell her. Kickin is cool too! Not as cool as Hoppy, but still epic nonetheless. She likes being friends with him and he's actually really good at the sports he does. Though that chicken can be a little dumb sometimes, oh well. Dogday! The leader! He's always so sunny and cheerful! She loves talking with him, giving him hugs galore! He's the one that likes the hugs the most. His fur is so soft, and he even helps her out with valentine's day presents for everyone. Who could ask for a better leader?
Picky Piggy :
Bobby is a nice gal. Always there to cheer someone up. Hell, she's helped with gardening, keeping the barn good, and baking/cooking goods. Though, she can be TOO touchy sometimes, she's trying her best to learn boundaries, so she isn't pushing too much. Catnap, she doesn't care too much about. She stays out of his way, he stays out of hers. He's weird, yes, but as long as she's not bothering him, he doesn't interact. The only time they Eben kinda talk is during group activities or when they need to sleep... Creepy. Crafty is kinda silly sometimes. She makes great art, yet never seems to understand that! She always thinks she can be better, but she's already good enough. Picky herself has tried to paint, but isn't the best. Bubba is nice to talk to. He rambles on sometimes, but never really is too annoying. She doesn't mind being around him. Although he has insisted she eat less, and she's tried, but it ain't easy when you're a pig known for eating. She just ain't the best at that. Kickin and Hoppy are very similar in many ways, the most notable being they're both sporty and energetic. She likes them, they're not bad, but they have tried getting her to do a bunch of sports she doesn't care about. She's told them, and they backed off, but they keep doing it, and it's a bit annoying. Though she finds the sibling rivalry they have funny. Dogday is very nice! He's always happy and go lucky, with a big grin, an idea, and an adventure. He's energetic, yes, but not to the point she is annoyed by him. He's always trying to make sure everyone is happy and having fun, and she likes that about him.
Catnap :
He hates them all. They're so.. FUCKING ANNOYING. They talk and talk, running around.. They even pull him along on their shitty adventures! And they're always asking him to help when they can't sleep. Oh how he wishes.. HOW HE WISHES HE COULD MAKE THEM SLEEP FOREVER TO DIE AND FADE AWAY INTO OBSCURITY! He can... He knows he can, the red gas was made to put people to sleep so that [REDACTED]. But something is stopping. Not something. SOMEONE. That damn, annoying, cheerful dog. What was his problem? He was always smiles, tail wags, and happy arua and.. He... Didn't know why, but it made him feel something other than rage and anger... Something that made his own tail sway and made him heat up. What was wrong with him, why was he like this? He hated it, but also liked it..? That canine is the only reason he's even staying, why he even joined... He hates it. He hates this feeling, he hates everything but that dog! Stupid dog. .... He knows this will all come to an end. They'll figure it out eventually, that elephant already is trying to, he knows he is. He can see the elephant staring at him, analyzing him. He's seen nights where he stays up, looking up and reading through books. If he wasn't stealthy, he would have been caught by now. He wants to put him to sleep, but the chicken always comes and does that for him. That's the only time he's thankful that elephant is gay. He doesn't have to worry too much. But, still... He has to stop this. He can't let them find out. And he knows how.
CraftyCorn :
Bobby is also so kind and nice. She comes over everyday, and everyday, Crafty shows her her art! Whether that be a new piece, a WIP, an updated version of the art before, Bobby didn't care. Bobby just always loved to see how she improved, and Crafty always loved getting compliments from her. All of these love and affection she was getting showered with resulted in her gaining a bit of a crush on the lovey bear. Picky is an interesting person to be around. She's always making goods, and always sharing them with the others. Though Picky leaves most of it for herself, Crafty still finds their friendship good. So yeah. Picky isn't the best painter, but she can always teach her! Catnap is nice. She was the first person Dogday introduced him to, since they're close friends, and she found him nice. Crafty would often show him her art, knowing the cat didn't care or mind. She didn't need words, just needed a head nod and a thumbs up. They don't talk, and Crafty doesn't mind. She likes to sit in silence while Catnap just stared at her art. Or at her. She didn't know, but he was always quiet, and she never minded. Bubba and her talk. He's always supportive of her, and she can proudly show her art to him. Like a dad! She comes up to him, he asks what she needs, and she shows him her art, which he compliments. He also gives feedback and comments about her art to help her improve, which she enjoys. He explains and teaches her things too, like math and science. He's gotten her art tools to help with her art. Hoppy is nice to be around. She's energetic, fun, and loves getting dirty and messy with her. But she can be a bit too energetic and fast, which she can't keep up with at times. But they're good friends! Kickin is a prankster, but also one of the coolest people she knows! He's always doing some cool and awesome stunt fearlessly, and she appreciates that about him! She's the polar opposite of him, shy, reserved, nervous... He's so cool, she just wishes she could be even the factor of awesome he is! She gained a crush on him a while back and confessed, but he politely turned her down since he did not feel the same way. But they're still good friends, nothing changed there. The crush eventually went away. Dogday, one of her best friends! He's always running around playing, and she loves to join in. He's always showing her affection and helps plan out her art contests. She and Dogday like to go on walks through the park, and Dogday talks while Crafty sketches what she sees. She likes being around him. Though Catnap always stares at her when she hugs Dogday when he's around. Whatever..
Bubba Bubbaphant :
Bobby is a very kind and caring person. Every time he's down in the dust, she comes along to try and make him feel better. Sure she can be a bit TOO clingy and touchy sometimes, so he has to tap her shoulder with his trunk, but she's still very sweet and motherly to everyone. Though he doesn't like it when she tries to play match maker since that isn't how the mind works you can't just put people together and make it work. Picky and him don't really have a relationship in his eyes. He's tried helping with her eating a bunch of food, but she eventually gives up, so he's instead advised her to eat healthy foods. He's still trying, but it's not that easy. Catnap. He doesn't know what that.. Thing is. It's a cat, yes, but he's not like them. That weird smoke he produces, the fact they are obsessed with it when he breathes it out... Begging for more, begging to sleep... And the weird thing is, the others are just... FINE WITH THIS? This isn't normal, HE'S NOT NORMAL. He's tried researching everything, day and night, best he's found so far is that California Poppy flowers have been known to help with sleep disorders, they're no where near California! Dogday should have never taken this cat in, it's driving him insane trying to figure out what the hell Catnap is. He doesn't want to admit it but. Catnap scares him. He hates him, and yet, he's scared to anger him. Something is wrong with that cat.. He... Maybe he just needs more s l e e p... Crafty is basically his daughter. She's always looking towards him for help or guidance on her art, and he agrees, teaching her about color theory and how to draw certain things. He even gets her art supplies and other tools on her birthday and other holidays. He loves seeing her improve and get better over time. It makes him happy. Hoppy and him don't really have a relationship, much like Picky. He is impressed with her skill and endurance while sporting, but they don't really talk to much. Kickin, the dare devil, and his amazing boyfriend. He's always there for his games, to watch him surf (and also make sure he doesn't wipe out), and all in all being a supportive boyfriend. Kickin is so crazy sometimes, and Bubba can't help but find that so cute and adorable. Especially when he first met the guy. Bubba wishes he could be as strong and brave as him, but he knows Kickin loves him being the nerdy and smart guy he is, so he wouldn't change that for the world. When Bubba is stressed out and on the brink of a breakdown, he will ring up Kickin, who will rush down and comfort the elephant. This is the same for the amount of nights he's spent staying up researching. Kickin will just go into his house, and if Bubba's still up, he's dragging him to bed to sleep. He fights back, but it falls on deaf ears as he snuggles with him. He loves him as much as can. Dogday was always someone he found interesting. His huge bursts of energy, excitement, and the want to make sure everyone is included intrigued him. He never knew how the dog had so much in him, but he never cared too much. It is nice to see he was happy as always at least. He's tried asking and telling him about Catnap and how maybe getting them addicted to the red smoke he produced is not good for them, but he always has to look on the bright side of everyone. It's a nice trait, but it's also detrimental when Catnap is most likely hurting them. He just wishes the dog wasn't so naive...
Hoppy Hopscotch :
She and Bobby always had a great relationship, finding comfort in one another. Bobby cheers her on at her matches with Kickin, and she helps Bobby work out. Though what shocked her the most about the nice, respectable, motherly bear is the sheer strength that women possesses. She thought she was strong, yet that women had muscle. She always found it hot though, so she can't complaining. Especially when she can get carried after a tough match. So she happily takes it. She can't wait to ask her out. Picky is nice. She makes amazing food, and she likes rough housing sometimes. Though while she tries to get Picky to work out and pay sports, the gal always turns down the favor, not liking to or wanting to, which she respects (for the most part). But she's still nice! She doesn't mind Catnap. They don't get to interact much, since she's always running around and he much rather sleep the whole day. The only times they interact is when she accidentally bumps into him while he's sleeping or when he's helping them with sleep. Catnap seems like a nice guy though! Crafty was fun to tease sometimes. The girl is always shy and jumpy, so it can be funny to prank her sometimes. Though she knows she can be very easily scared, so she always puts it on the low for her pranks. She also knows that she shouldn't make her mad... That didn't go well when she ACCIDENTALLY ruined one of the paintings she was working on.. Hoppy couldn't play soccer with a broken leg. But they're good friends, even after that! Bubba can be annoying at times, always talking about his science mumbo jumbo, whatever (no clue what the hell Kickin sees in him). It can get very boring very fast for her, she doesn't really care at all about it. But he's not a bad person, he's the one they go to for medical help when they get hurt after all. He's trained and knows much more than she ever could, so she respects him for that. She just wishes he wouldn't ramble on sometimes. Ah, Kickin! Her enemy and rival... Or well, brother. She and Kickin have been siblings for a long time now, ever since her parents found the small egg in a bush while walking, thus took him in. She grown attached, and ever since, they've been the sporty duo who fight to win. Even though he has WAY too much of an ego sometimes, he's a good brother and she wouldn't ever ask for anyone else. She loves to pull his leg and mess with the ego filled chicken, though sometimes it backfires on her. Like the time she started the "prank wars" with him. It resulted in both her and him getting scolded and being put in "time out" essentially. She and Dogday get along very well! He's the most energetic out of everyone, even Kickin, so getting to run around with him and play all sorts of fun hyperactive games really helps with all the energy she saves up. He also is really good at fetch, so they will often play it. Fun guy all around! No wonder he's the leader.
KickinChicken :
Bobby and him get along, she loves to just show him affection to the max, and he doesn't mind it. Except for sometimes when she just runs up to him and hugs him out of the blue. He doesn't like that. He also hates it when she just states hugging him without asking. Though she had tried to improve and stop doing that, which he likes. So she's not that bad! He doesn't mind Picky that much. He wished she would play sports with them more, but he can't force her. She makes food for their events, which he enjoys, so she's not that bad. But they just don't interact a lot. Catnap is ok. He helps them sleep when they can't, like a thundering night or after a nightmare, so the guy's cook. But Bubba had gone on rants about the guy and how something wasn't right about him, making him a little afraid or scared of the guy. Though Bubba could just be anxious and paranoid, so he's still giving Catnap the benefit of the doubt. Crafty is a sweet girl! Kind, shy, nervous, and a great artist! Though he overlooks the girl due to her quietness, he also sees her as a friend. He tries to teach her how to speak louder and be more assertive, but the poor woman can't bring herself to do so, thinking she'll come off mean and rude, no matter how much he reassures her. Her art is amazing, but she's so shy she couldn't even show him at first since she thought he was gonna find it childish and dumb. He wishes she could express herself more. Bubba! What a sweet gentleman. Always telling him new facts and things he found out, and when he sees a cool plant, that man will list off what plant it is, how to grow it, and what not. He also helps him when he gets hurt, which is often, so he's thankful for that. He's there to comfort him when he gets scared (which is easily) and make sure he's ok. He loves playing with Bubba's big floppy ears when he's stressed. It calms him down, and helps him relax. Anyways, both he and Bubba make mistakes, yes, like the time he and him had a small argument because he accidentally broke one of Bubba's favorite mugs, but he wouldn't love anyone else. He just loves snuggling into that guy. He couldn't get enough! He also always helps the other with his sleeping issues, since that poor guy has been staying up more often. So he goes over, drags him to bed, then cuddles with him under a weighted blanket. It helps Bubba fall asleep. He wishes he could stop staying up multiple nights, but he insists that it's for a reason and that he has to continue his research. But he'll continue to help him, no matter what. Hoppy, his sister, is a pain in the ass. But also his friend. She always teases him and messes with him just to spite him. She's been like that for years. He and her fight about random small things, and always try to beat and top the other in what they're doing, causing a competition between them. A constant battle basically. They're always at each other trying to be better than the other, whether that be in sport, baking, running, anything. Like siblings always do. She's a great big sister though, has helped him through tough times, and he can't be more grateful. Dogday is like that guy you always see around the block. Always running, always doing things, always happy and excited, and just a great guy overall. He goes to him when he needs to plan things with the group or ask him when an we went is happening. He also goes to him just to pay video games and fetch with him, since the dog loves that game. He's so sweet sometimes.
Dogday :
He finds everyone as his best friend! They're all nice to him and, as their leader, he must make sure everyone is happy and included! However, Bubba has been telling him that Catnap could be a danger to the group, and how the red smoke is causing problems for them, and how maybe Catnap isn't a good person... He doesn't understand though! Catnap is such a sweet, adorable, quiet kitty that sleeps a lot. There's nothing wrong with him, he thinks that at least. Speaking of which, Catnap. He's been having these strange happy feelings lately around him. His purring is calming, the way he yawns and curls back up is so cute, and when he's all sleepy and tired.. He's just a ball of adorableness! Is that a word? He doesn't know. But it's how Catnap is! He just wants to give him all the kisses in the world! He's talked with Bobby about the feelings, and she says it's love. He's not sure yet though if it is love or not. Maybe he just... Really likes his best friend! That's it. Maybe...

I know you've probably gotten this ask a few times, but which of Ebenholz's modules would you rec? I've gotten him from the Lonetrail selector and I think his modules change his playstyle somewhat?
Thanks to the power of foresight (CN being 6 months ahead), we know that Ebenholz actually has three modules that all play rather differently. This is going to depend on what you want him to do.
Module X's base effect adds a 4th possible charge for him to hold (technically 5th, since Ebenholz's talent lets him hold a 4th charge exclusively for bosses or elites), while the upgrades further increase the damage bonus of the charges. Best for his oneshot boss playstyle as it has the highest initial burst of damage, but if armies of buffers and debuffers to oneshot bosses aren't your thing, you can pass on this one. Eben is strong enough to still destroy most elites even without the extra charge.
Module Y gives him +30 ASPD when he has a charge stored (so he creates charges faster), while the upgrade makes his attack deal 36% of his ATK as AOE damage if there are multiple enemies around. This makes him much better if you're using him as an ordinary caster instead of a Mystic, where he will have to deal with crowds of enemies as opposed to just bursting one target. If you really insist on bringing Ebenholz around even to stages with hordes of enemies, this is a useful module to have. Otherwise, you can pass on this.
Module Delta gives Ebenholz Necrosis damage equal to 8% of the damage he deals an enemy, and the upgrade effect lets him deal additional elemental damage (a new damage type for Operators still to be added to Global with IS4) to enemies equal to 30% of ATK when hitting enemies that have been fully affected by Necrosis. If you're wondering what the hell that all means, this is the module that makes Ebenholz go from a oneshot burst unit into a sustained DPS. Ebenholz's whole problem before was that he relied on his talent increasing the damage of his stored charges for his incredible burst damage. if the enemy survived the initial barrage, he would be stuck hitting them with S3 repeatedly, unable to store charges and no longer having his Talent 1 backing him up. This module fixes that, where Ebenholz's initial burst is for popping the enemy's Necrosis gauge (remember that he deals Necrosis damage = to 8% of damage dealt, so the higher the burst of damage, the more Necrosis damage done), then once Necrosis is activated, Ebenholz's repeated attacks also deal 30% of his ATK as bonus Elemental damage, on top of his Talent 2 also dealing 30% of his ATK as bonus Arts damage. The total damage he can put out with a fully upgraded Delta module far, far exceeds Modules X and Y, though sacrificing X's initial burst power and Y's AOE attacks. This module is inarguably his numerically strongest one, though keep in mind that it's meant to let Ebenholz sustain damage against enemies he cannot oneshot normally, such as Patriot or Mudrock colossi, which are much tankier than the average elite enemy that X usually deals with cleanly.

Who are the top must build caster operators? Excluding Eyja and Amiya
The ones you like :) But of course, you knew that, so let's talk Casters.
Casters exist in a perpetual state of weirdness because Hypergryph did an oopsie daisy and created Eyja as a release Operator, forever destabilizing absolutely everything about the class for years because she Did Everything better than other Casters (except Ifrit), even other Caster archetypes that aren't her own. Basically, on release, an objective tier listing for Casters, not just Core Casters, could be "Eyja Tier and Everyone Else Tier" and it'd be correct. Whether it was single target, aoe, constant DPS or burst damage, Eyja Did It Better. About the only other Caster you'd hear about in the conversation was Ifrit, because she was her own weird thing and did her job really damn well, and her unique range and true AoE, plus her ability to land flat DEF and RES debuffs (as opposed to percentage based, which made them very powerful due to the way DEF works and how the numbers tend to be low, thus flat > percentage for DEF) has always been appreciated. In fact, add Ifrit to that list of Recommended Casters, even though we won't discuss her below.
After some years of fighting their own big oopsie, Arknights is finally starting to even out the playing field with Casters. Right now, I'd say the best Caster is in fact Goldenglow (6*), and just, in general, the Mech Accord archetype is solid, with Operators like Kjera (5*) and Click (4*) being, quite honestly, very good! Minimalist (5*) is also an effective fire-and-forget unit, and in general, for your single target needs, Mech Accord is the way to go. The other archetype that's been cooking is the Mystic Caster group, with the likes of Ebenholz (6*), Iris (5*) and Indigo (4*), thanks to their great burst potential. Consider them as the Caster equivalent of Heavyshooter Snipers (Schwarz, Pozemka) in that they need to be more carefully and thoughtfully placed and require a more hands-on approach, paying dividends with incredibly effective Elite and Boss killing power, especially when they don't attack for a few seconds, as for each "autoattack" they have no target in range, they instead save that attack for later, unleashing all attacks (max 3) at once.
So, with that said, I don't particularly like the term "must raise", so let's call this a Hearty Recommended List of Casters:
Goldenglow - Whether it is her S2 for constant output (and AFK strats wink wink) or S3 for a more hands-on approach to evisceration with its great damage per second and global range, Miss Electric WILL send your foes to the principal's office and have them expelled. Her single target damage is incredible and she is absurdly easy to use, plus, thanks to her Talent, sometimes her drones will explode to deal AoE damage, granting her a degree of AoE ability as well. There's not much to say other than Goldenglow is really as powerful as you've heard: Incredibly easy to use, incredibly versatile, and incredibly pink.
Ebenholz - The other big relevant Caster nowadays. Ebenholz tends to have a bit of a worse reputation than Goldenglow, mostly due to incompetence (of the playerbase, not Eben's). The truth is, the absolutely monstrous amounts of damage Ebenholz can put out if played correctly are astonishing, but there's two issues here: 1) He's considerably harder to use than the average unit, as you need to make sure he's placed in a way that allows him to actually shoot all of this damage at the right target, which usually translates to "your entire team set-up, or at least a significant part of it, is built around using Ebenholz properly", and 2) you rarely actually need the amount of damage he outputs, especially relative to the effort needed to squeeze it out of him (when you can just use an easier unit, like Eyja or GG). However, for those moments in which you can definitely benefit from the Big Hits or, let's be honest here, when you just really want to see those big damn numbers, yeah, Ebenholz is a bona fide top pick. For BIG Damage, you'll want to learn to build around his S3, for general use, you want his S2, which is quite similar to W's S2 Claymores.
Kjera - Kjera's freezing ability allows her to output damage and provide team utility -- Freezing is not only a measure of crowd control, it reduces RES by 15 as well -- making her an easy to integrate Operator into pretty much any team, especially if you also use the likes of Gnosis or Aurora for that sweet, sweet Frozen synergy. Even without them, however, Kjera is a solid member of any team and a great team player.
Click - An ol' reliable, cheap, effective damage hose with minor crowd control in the form of Stun, Click is simple to use, cheap to upgrade, and has great hands to high five with after she's done blasting. Not much else to be said about her, she simply works.
Iris - Nice bursty Caster with some fun gimmicks: S1 is her machine gun, making her range a line in front of line and releasing a LOT of very quick attacks very briefly, while her S2 Sleeps enemies for a few seconds (allowing her to charge up Mystic stacks) before waking them up with a burst of Arts damage. Being one of the rare Sleep synergies, it also allows Blemishine to smash enemies over the head with a tire iron, the way knights do, if you use them together. Quite the gimmicky unit, but fun and effective nonetheless.
Indigo - The light machine gun to Iris' heavy machine gun and Ebenholz attack jet-mounted vulcan gun. Her damage is not as high as her fellow Mystics, but she instead has a rather consistent Bind she can apply to her enemies, which is interesting to have on a Caster. A sub-DPS/Support hybrid, and welcome in pretty much any team.
There's other Casters that can get a recommendation, but these are the ones I think are pretty relevant as of right now besides Eyja, Amiya, and Ifrit.

[Good chance of them being; the cutest things in the entire multiverse ever, much better than the fruit twins; according to Dawn.]
Oi, them be fighting words. If Dawn's not careful, he gonna end up looking like Eben Byers otherwise.
[Canon!SWK/Dawn is just sobbing from the cuteness of their daughters. He def ranks them higher on the cuteness ladder than any of the au! kiddos.]
Like, the other SWKs get it, they too find their own kiddos the cutest amongst the cubs, but still - "Oh, put them up, buttercup!"
[Jackpotshipping is unlikely. .. Unless they find another freebie in the trash .. Street orphans are negotiable.]
Ace coming to visit one day and leaves with a new kid he found in Megapolis, calling 'dibs' XD
[Canon!Red: "It will keep our parents off of our backs regarding children at least. For at least for a few months."]
Hehe!
A few months later, in the restaurant, MK and Red are sort-of being cornered and asked about the future kids, only for SWK bust through the door, an absolute manic grin on his face, tail wagging at speeds comparable to a jet engine, while holding Macaque in a bridal carry.
There is no sight of the nimbus, so the group wonders if he ran here...
"We're pregnant!" SWK announces, before backpedaling, "Well, not 'we', not like our alts, but we are, well, Mac is, ugh, I helped!"
"Give him a minute. He is so excited he left his brain back on Flower Fruit Mountain." Macaque laughs softly at that.
So much excited screeching incoming.
And relief, from Spicynoodles now that the group's attention is diverted again.
Even if Canon PIF and Mac are not more than begrudging allies, I could see them looking up things for the babies, for the former to see what's new and useful for rearing children since she now knows what needs to be done to make more.
Though, the best advice must come from those who have raised multiple kids by now:
"Color code everything!"
"Huh?"
"Kids will argue about what belongs to whom. Especially twins - and triplets. Color coding saves your sanity. Can't argue the teddy bear is yours if it has a bandana of your siblings color, right?"
"Also, just because you're craving it, don't nonstop indulge. The weight makes the birth worse."
"What do you mean by that?" Gets shown the image of the Nodelets after birth, "Holy shit, she's huge!"
referencing posts about the Canon LMK Shadowpeach having kids in the Wukongverse.
["Give him a minute. He is so excited he left his brain back on Flower Fruit Mountain."]
Ok thats gotta be my favorite way to describe how Wukong reacts to such good news. I love the mental imagery of his tail going at the speed of a helicopter rotor as he tries to figure out how to announce it to the gang. Canon MK is def the first to start crying with proxy happiness.
[Though, the best advice must come from those who have raised multiple kids by now]
Aww, I love the thought of the other parent LEMs giving Canon!Macaque/Dusk baby advice. Like a moms club.
And ofc Plum using Yuebei's baby photo as a warning not to indulge. He jokes that the little girl "needed her own room" or else neither he nor Peach would have been able to move from the baby weight. Dusk shudders at the thought.
Liang tells horror stories of the 5 stone-fruit monkeys fighting over whos things are whos. Colour co-ordination is such a must to avoid in-fighting.
Zhanshi has softer advice on how to take care of a smaller/weaker baby (Xiaoyun hatched prematurely). And Olive just says "You are gonna feel like crap sometimes. Its normal."
Meanwhile in the next room, Canon!SWK/Dawn is getting roasted by the whole SWK gang for his worrying + his brain stuttering from happiness.
[Oi, them be fighting words]
I can imagine all the other SWKs letting Dawn have his moment of new-dad-pride when the twins are actually born, but you know the fists and staffs are flying the second Dawn tries saying his kids are the cutest of the whole multiverse. Smokey argues for Xiao Qi, whos so cute he literally heals the world. Dasheng in turn argues for Xiaoyun, his scrappy little cloud. Cherry is then like "nope, you're all wrong. your babies can't out-cute my pebble army."
Its worse than the time the other DBKs met and went full soccer-dad on eachother.
The LEMs come back only to see the living room completely destroyed. Someone has been tosed through a screen door. The table has been broken in half.
Only the ones that stayed out of it are the SWKs who don't have any kids + Ace ( s laughing up a storm).
Plum: "What in buddha's name happened here!?" Peach: "A matter of pride. Dawn tried saying his kids are cuter than ours." Plum: "...thats dumb. You know babies look ugly as frick to anyone not the parents. Simple biology." The Other SWKS, regaining conciousness: "Huh?" Plum: "Observe. I was just showing the other Macs a certain newborn photo of Yuebei. Does this look like a cute baby to you?" The Other SWKs: *looks at photo* Photo: *newborn Yuebei being weighed on a kitchen scale. Her face is super wrinkly, and her fur is really wispy and wet-looking. Looks like a little angry gremlin. Her smaller brothers are right next to her in the bassinet.* Smokey: "Sweet buddha..." Cherry: "Thats a HUGE baby!" Dasheng: "...did you say newborn!?" Plum: "Yup. Why did you think I warned Dusk not to give into cheese cravings?" Dawn: "I thought that was just photoshop..."
The argument is immediately forgotten, as now the SWKs are just glad that they didn't get a mega-sized 9-pound potato baby. Its all in good fun though, as Plum and Peach consider Yuebei to be their little ice lily.

It was bed time for Baby Gordon. Lady Hatt was tucking the little one in for the night, making sure he had his blankie, pacifier, and his stuffed elephant Dory.
Lady Hatt: Good night Gordon, sweet dreams.
Baby Gordon: Ni, ni, mama.
Lady Hatt kissed the baby engine's forehead before heading out, she made sure to turn on the night light before leaving.
Baby Gordon rested his eyes for a bit, waiting until he was sure no one was heading to his nursery before focusing his attention to Dory.
BG: pst ... Dowy I gots a secwet.
Baby Gordon whispered.
Dory laid on the pillow.
Baby Gordon looked nervous, glancing around the room just to be sure no one was there. He took a deep breath in before confessing his secret to the stuffed animal.
BG: Me's wemembas bein big.
Dory didn't respond as Baby Gordon continued.
BG: Me wememba bein big showt time afta acci-dent. Me wokes ups one nighty, vewy scawy, ebyting vewy big. Bein baby I cwied, I didn wanna be baby, but mama and dada came in ta howd me, sing wuwwabies an eben wet me sweeps in der bed. Me feels so wuved, not wike wen me was big. Bwba come to cawe for me, me tought he no wuved me cuz da big wace, but he wuv me! Me no wanna see bwba go bye-bye.
Baby Gordon began to tear up.
Being a big engine was stressful since the moment he came to be it was like that, especially before Gordon arrived on Sodor. Bad mentors that always criticized him, the smaller engines not wanting to be his friend because the other big engines had scared them, being locked away in a shed for days when one of his mentors saw him shunting. All those experiences coming home to roost when the big engine came to Sodor. In turn his pride prevented Gordon from telling the truth as he tried to push the small engines away from him, he refused to shunt his own trains in fear he would be locked away again, and grew jealous of Thomas and the others when he saw how kind and patient Edward was with them, his rage pouring out into hurtful comments towards the old reliable engine. Then there was James, that engine had looked up to the bigger engines and big Gordon had been a bad influence on him. Since then James had been acting as pompous as Gordon, the former express engine didn't want that.
His relationship with Bertram Hatt wasn't always the best, but being a baby Sir Topham Hatt was more patient and understanding, it reminded Gordon of the days of Bertram's father Sir Charles Topham Hatt. He was the closest person Gordon had to an actual dad.
Gordon wondered if all this time if had been meant to be a smaller engine, if him being a baby was just better for not only himself but all of Sodor. He looked into Dory's eyes.
BG: Dats why me's gonna faiw da big tes. I gonna stays a baby foweba and eba.

Hii its me
I copied my ask earlier. Although I am feeling slightly better and confident I would really do with your help 🥺
I so badly want to have my desires yet when it comes to doing the work I get lazy because I am scared the same thing is going to happen all over again. I will do great and then some negative thoughts that dont even make sense will ruin everything. I want to tap in the void state but I have ao many irrational fears piled up. As soon as I put my focus away from the void these fears make zero sense but as soon as I start to work in my void concept these fears become so real and annoying tht at this point am scared to even start working on my void concept because I only get false hope and exhaustion when I try to work towards my goals. I thought I will manifest my desires my jan but it passed then I thought it will be by feb but now even april is over. Its been four long years like this. I came to know about the void in dec 2022 and I thought I will tap in but I feel like the exception. My self concept is trash I go to work on it but fail miserably because every single thing tells me the opposite even if 3d is just a reflection its hard. I thought I will tap in the void and change my sc but even the void feels far far away. I wanted to get in the void in jan and I feel stuck. Everyone is making great progress but me. I will be 19 soon. I feel like a failure. I hate to live like this. Maya please guide me and help me please. I see so many people deciding that they will taap in tonight and they do or people simply affirming and getting in even some people with bad voidconcept. I really need help and guidance. My appearance, mental health , studies ,body, social life everything has degraded so badly I cant eben express the pain.
I understand that you are feeling frustrated and scared about your manifesting journey. Remember, Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled and observe the route that your attention follows. This means that by focusing on the end result and experiencing the feeling of having already achieved it, you will naturally be guided towards your desired outcome.
Do not let fear and negative thoughts hold you back from your desires. "You are the operant power,babe, you have the power to change your reality through your thoughts and beliefs.
"Change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live." The key is to focus on the version of yourself that has already manifested your desires, and live as if that reality is already yours.Do not compare yourself to others or their progress. Your own wonderful human imagination is the actual creative power of God within you. Trust in your imagination and your ability to manifest your desires, regardless of what others may or may not be doing.
I promise, you are never too old or late to set another goal or to dream a new dream. Your age nor date does not define your ability to manifest your desires, and it's never too late to start working towards them.Be kind to yourself, practice self-love, and believe in yourself and your ability to manifest your desires. Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and feel grateful for the desire already being fulfilled. Thank yourself for already granting your desire, and trust in the process.
As for your 3D I understand how hard it is. But again, "You are the operant power." No matter what your 3D reality may seem like, you have the power to change it through your thoughts and beliefs. Focus on your desires as if they have already been fulfilled, and live from that state of being.
As Edward Art said, "Great things never came from comfort zones." Push yourself out of your comfort zone and imagine the reality you truly desire, despite any limitations in your current 3D reality. Visualize your desires and hold onto the feeling as if they have already been fulfilled. "The more we practice, the easier it gets, and the more expansive our lives become."
As Edward Art also said, "Action is the physical manifestation of thought." Take inspired action towards your desires, no matter how small the steps may be. You can start with not being so harsh to yourself. Your imagination will reflect regardless but don’t be kind to person you are now just because you’ll love the person you’ll be in the future
You can Believe you can and you're halfway there already, so just accept it’s yours and that’s all. Believe in yourself, trust in yourself and ability, and let go of any limiting beliefs or doubts. You have the power to manifest your desires, no matter what your current 3D reality may look like I promise.
This is the last ask I’m answering until I return, but I really hope to see more success stories :)! We all deserve our dreams lives and ily all so much,including you anon 🫶

Jason Lee Scott oc and au children and grandchildren
Jason's...fascinating. to put it mildly. I'd almost say his love interests have the same vibe as Billy Cranston's but with the added interest of it not being them trying to hide the actor's homosexuality. I don't know if it's just hard for people to think of a good and interesting way for him to play off someone or what but wow. There's something to be said about this.
Canon Children:
Currently none that we know of-which is actually WEIRD because he has a canon girlfriend/most likely wife. Emily. You'd think they'd give him a kid or two with her. Apparently not! so; none that we know of.
My OC Children of Jason Lee Scott:
Lauren Shiba;
The fun of reality hopping, is that time really doesn't matter much. They found each other during the Battle for the Grid, and bonded. When Jason got his memories back, he bided his time, but was intending to find her again, and give her back her memories, as well.
Eventually, he had his chance and took it. When he was able to get to his Lauren in her reality, she was living off the compound with Spike Skullovtich as her roommate. He was able to give her back her memories, and tried not to think too hard about the fact Spike is Skull's son.
They have a kid, who's currently living on the streets in a completely different reality. Eben Scott is sixteen and as far as he knows, his parents are dead. He's been very suspicious of power rangers his entire life, though would never go against them. He stays out of this reality's earth's team, but isn't above helping where possible. On the downlow, of course. By all accounts, Eben shouldn't exist. There was never a reality where this was supposed to happen, and Eben knows that better than anyone. He doesn't blame the rangers, exactly, but he does blame the grid itself for his parents deaths. The grid, and the Morphin Masters, who seem to be directly involved in it. Eben reasons that as long as he stays hidden, they can't erase him from existence.
Recently though, the gold ranger of the team he's become the self appointed baby sitter of has gotten grievously hurt, and Eben's this close to breaking into the headquarters and seeing if he's a good fit. He's willing to chance it for a group he's grown attached to, even if from a distance. Plucky, wary, creative, and far too comfortable with breaking laws, the biggest question if he does is will the team even accept him as a replacement.
Melissa (last name unknown);
Melissa was a deaf girl and friend of Kimberly who Jason became vey immediately taken with, learning sign language so he could better communicate with her. She was able to get away from one of Rita's monsters because she couldn't hear the music that entranced the other girls from the dance class Kimberly was running. When Melissa was able to get the rangers for help...she saw them transform. She never mentioned it to anyone, figuring Jason and the rest had a good reason to stay quiet about it. However when Jason went to become a Solar Ranger, Melissa let him know she knew. And made him promise he'd come back safely. There might not be much for him in Angel Grove, but she was there, and that had to count for something. When he came back, they got together
Their son, Mackenzie, "Kensy" Scott, is Deaf. Like his mom, he's fluent in sign language. Kensy is twenty nine years old. He's a red ranger, for the solar rangers team. Jason is constantly worried on behalf of his son, but Kensy has adapted. This works for him. Most hypnosis and mind control by sound monster's powers don't work on him. He 'hears' with his other senses like touch, such as feet and hands, as well as his suit adapting to his needs and strengths. Kensy's doing fine, and he's going to show everyone. He gets his parents are concerned, but it's okay. He's okay. He has everything down to an exact science. He can whistle. apparently loudly. He's practiced sounds enough to have a whistle system with his team. ASL is also great for stealth missions. He's dating his yellow, Starla. He's promised his parents he's not going to get in too deep or become unhealthy with this, and to remember to come home eventually.
Kensy keeps a book of recipes from wherever planet he spends at least a few days on. His current thought process is sell this and a biography about his life in space with his friends.
Rocky DeSantos;
Rocky said he thought Jason was cool and wished he could have gotten to know him better so was happy to be on the Zeo team with him. Here, this was meant fully romantically. It took Jason three months to Get It, and when Rocky was no longer blue and the rest of them became turbo rangers. When he was out of the hospital and Jason was mentally recovered from his ordeal at the hands of Divatox, they talked about everything. Slowly and awkwardly. How much Rocky admired Jason, how much he wished they could have been closer friends before Jason left, and Jason congratulating Rocky on being a good red ranger, and a great blue. His Blue.
They’re still active Zeo Rangers, though Jason slid back into red when Tommy got strong armed into retiring by his wife. Eventually, he’s going to give the legacy his youngest daughter, who in turn gives it to Tommy’s grandson, but for now… he and Rocky have it handled.
They have three kids and run a wrestling gym dojo combination. Victoria “V” DeSantos, aged 17, and Bess, aged 13. Kim offered to be the surrogate, as Aisha and Kat and Trini were busy with their own lives and had declined, and Kim was happy to help both times. Plus, Jason wanted the girls to not be bullied over being half siblings. Not that it matters. Nobody bullies the DeSantos sisters.
V isn’t a ranger, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t kicked seven kinds of ass of anything that makes the mistake that just because she looks effeminate must mean she’s not one of the toughest kids and town and took her kickboxing team at school to nationals twice in a row (three times if she can manage; she’s training hard for it). Not the sharpest tool in the box, but she gets there in the end. She’s got a heart of gold and a competitive streak a mile wide. She’s enthusiastic, cheeky, bur don’t get on her bad side. She might have a slow temper, this doesn’t make her a pushover. Can be intimidating with a smile. Don’t screw with her family. Especially on the holidays, Halloween, Christmas and valentines especially. That is family time and she will cause demons hospitalization. Thanksgiving’s fine though. But they have to bring a side dish and stay for dinner. This has made things interesting. She can be self centered and details focused, but she tries to think about others. While her dads are in charge, V is the benevolent queen bee of the house and keeps everything in line. Terrible with time and directions though, but that’s what her sister’s for. Not associated with a color.
Bess is less like Rocky, but she’s got all of Kim’s best qualities. Kind, compassionate, empathetic. She though, like Jason, tends to internalize and stew. Her goal is to beat all of Jason’s records he set in his teens. She doesn’t want to be the best, she just wants to prove to him she’s capable. And maybe a little bit want to be able to brag she’s better than her old man, but just a little. A bit jealous of her older sister. V has a long shadow it’s sometimes difficult to step out from under. Often explodes when she can’t get something perfectly the first time, but once she calms down she’s usually trying again. Definitely Jason’s favorite even if he doesn’t say so. She’s very good at directions and maps, and sense of time. She’s dependable and capable. She’s going to be the best one day, she’s gonna make sure of it. Will be Red when Jason’s finally forced to retire.
Tommy Oliver;
It started with a challenge, because for these two, it always starts with a challenge. Trying to out do the other in asking each other out, the date, and then the proposals. Because the one who can't top the last proposal has to say yes. because you can't one up a proposal if you're already married. So they've been engaged with no wedding date in sight for decades, going back and forth with proposals. Most everyone is amused, but their two kids are mostly Done with their dads. Travis Scott, aged 26, and Celeste Scott, aged 22, love their dads but cannot with either of them. Travis is a famous race car driver and a gold ranger, Celeste is going into mechanics with a focus on teaching, her goal being a shop teacher for highschool students and a red ranger, and they love their dads but everything is an eternal competition between Jason and Tommy, and it sometimes feel loving their kids is a competition, too.
Violet decided to help Jason and Tommy when they were looking at surrogacy, and was not amused by the fact they decided who the father would be with an arm wrestling match, best two out of three. Jason won. Violet insisted on naming the kid for them so it wouldn't turn into another contest. Jason and Tommy do love each other, but it's so hard for them to be anything but competitive. It's literally their love language. They do make a great team raising their kids, however, and Travis was a bit of a gearhead almost before he could walk, fascinated with cars and bikes and everything with wheels. His first (self chosen) halloween costume was the megazoid, made lovingly out of boxes, construction paper, paint, and paper mache. When he found out Tommy had been a race car driver when he and Jason were considering kids at all, well. His fate was sealed. He's got a rap sheet for illegal drag races, speeding, and a few other things. Jason had to take away the keys for a year while Tommy worked on getting Travis on board with the concept of "time and place" because while Tommy is dumb of ass and pure of heart, he does not fuck around with safety around mechanical objects. especially cars. Now, however, Travis is thriving. He is not on the same team as his sister, ironically while he hates how competitive his parents are, he and his sister are almost worse with their rival ranger teams. Travis is just like Tommy, but tends to have the same manner of dealing with feelings as Jason; bottling to the detriment of everyone around him. Intense, but well meaning. Strong willed and stubborn, but often gets into things on pure righteous fury, or out of a sense of competition or excitement. More than one person has asked him "how are you still alive".
Celeste was adopted in infancy a few years after Travis was born. Tommy has always liked the idea of adoption, and was always grateful for being adopted into the family he was. David threatened them both with their lives if they turned this into a competition, and watched them very very closely through every step. When she was two years old, Celeste stole Travis' toy car and he bopped her in the face to get it back. if you ask Jason, that's the moment the two became rivals. She's been a mild terror, taking apart most things she could get her hands on and later figuring out how to put them back together. The vacuum, the family car, she's just having fun. She also is a little bit of a know it all, especially over mechanical things, and will lecture to whoever listens, though the complexity tends to depend on who she's talking to. Her teammates? a good way to practice going over the subject with teenagers. Her parents? as indepth as she likes. Her brother? middle ground. He knows how cars work, but not how to fix in a pinch. She's become a red ranger because opportunity presented itself, and her brother's two towns over and she loves sending him selfies of her exploits. He's quickly gotten into it as well.
Farkas Bulkmeier;
When Jason came home to take care of his dad after his mom died, Bulk was there almost before Jason's friends were. He had Eugene in tow and they more or less gently bullied their way into getting him to accept help. When his dad finally died, miserable as ever, Bulk pulled Jason over to his place and they played video games and ate until they passed out in Bulk's bed. They have a mild competitive nature to their romance, and the little love affair surprised absolute nobody who took two seconds to think about it. They adopted two girls. Jason's a PE teacher at the highschool, while Bulk is the history teacher. Orla and McKenzie, aged fifteen and sixteen respectively, were adopted a couple years apart when they were in gradeschool.
Orla was originally from Stone Canyon, and Aisha knew her mom. They went to highschool together before she moved to Angel Grove, but they kept in touch. She couldn't keep her daughter, so Aisha helped her screen prospective parents. Jason and Bulk fit, and the paperwork was taken care of. Orla still talks to her mom on weekends when she can, but she loves her dads. Orla is into cross country running and shock put. She loves adventuring and hiking, and is constantly pulling her family out for hiking trips on weekends, as well as camping. Not the most popular girl in school, but she's okay with that. Currently getting into the idea of going into some form of nature study science as a profession. Not associated with a color.
McKenzie is one of the popular girls, though she's also into sports. Hers is soccer. She's also not afraid of standing up for her friends and sister, and her drop kick can shatter tables. Bulk and Jason made her promise not to get in fights in school, as it not only looks bad on her, it could cost them their jobs. So she's careful who she fights. Monsters who the power rangers can't handle are useful, here. At least one of them offered to hire her. Jason and Bulk were. Not Amused. She's considering acting as a career, just so she can do her own stunts. Everyone likes her because she doesn't let people walk over her, but she's managed to be nice about it. Likes history as much as Bulk does.
Trey of Triforia;
Trey owes Jason his life. If Jason hadn't taken Gold when Trey was injured, he probably would have died. Jason owed Trey his life. If he hadn't taken Gold back when he was able, Jason would have died. Having Zeo Gold in common was, it turned out, a great opportunity for bonding. They got closer, and when Jason's dad finally died...he didn't actually look back. Like Billy, he prefers spending more of his time on another planet with his alien lover. When needed, they swap back and forth with gold; it takes them both, accepts them both, and it's an exacting Color, but they have it handled.
They have a daughter. Helen is eight years old. She's a lot like Jason, and that worries both of them. Helen's broken someone's arm over the matter of being bigger and as the princess, more important than the smaller child, and Jason had to sit her down and have a long discussion why this was wrong. He's gone to Earth with her in the hopes if she has a lot of help, she'll get through her anger and internalizing emotions. For now, they're focusing on raising her specifically as a human child on earth. It seems to be doing good for her, and at least they trust who they left in charge of Triforia so she can have both her dads with her. She likes butterflies, and disney movies, and human candy. She likes the kids in the karate class she's in, and her honorary family.
Zack Taylor;
There really wasn't anyone else, honestly. They got each other. Blue and red is fine, and red and pink, but red and black? when it works it works and honestly they work. For obvious reasons, while they started dating in space, they didn't make it public when they came back to earth until Jason's dad died. At that point, there was nothing holding them back, and Zack understood the reason Jason waited. There was never going to be a relationship with his dad if he came out, and he was the sole caretaker. He had a responsibility. Zack respected that.
They have two kids, by surrogate. Kristen of the dark rangers, actually, offered. They didn't talk to the five much, but knew them well enough, after everything. When she offered it was actually a surprise, but they were willing if she was. When they decided they wanted a second kid, she was still willing. They're half siblings. Cleo, aged 24, is Jason and Kristen's daughter. Valeria, aged 18, is Kristen and Zack's daughter. Through this they became better friends with Kristen as well and that was really nice, especially for Kristen.
Cleo's more dramatic and adventurous than her younger sister. She will try anything once, do anything once. The whole world's a stage and she's one of the leads. Not afraid to take life by the horns and ride for all it's worth. A little bit of a mean girl, especially to anyone who dares hurt her sister or sister's friends. Was a queen bee in high school. She designs outfits for athletes. Sportswear is a passion of hers. How to make it fashionable and nice to work out in. Everyone deserves to look their best. She, herself, has an almost boho goth mix as a style. it was a mistake to let her watch incredibles; Edna Mode is her hero and role model. is not associated with a color. However, she'd be Fuchsia if she did. Unusual, and wouldn't have it any other way.
Valeria is 18 and in awe of her family and their legacies. She feels like she won't be able to be able to match any of them, but is trying not to let that bother her. She's captain of a breakdancing team, and mixes it with hard shoe Irish step-dance, which she's been taking classes for since she was four. It's something new, something fun, something her, and while she doesn't see the value in it, Zack and Jason do. Cleo's first experimental skort (skirt/short combo) was for Valeria to better be able to mix both dance styles. It's sometimes difficult for the sisters to talk to each other or show affection, but when they do its usually through things made for the other for their hobbies. Valeria also likes doing basic build type things, such as building sewing machines or computers. She only does this for family, but Cleo loves the custom machine she got. So does uncle Adam.
Currently working at a pizzeria, the tips are good and she likes being able to think while in high stress situations. It's where she thrives. Valeria is not associated with a color. however if she was, it'd be coral or black.
Billy Cranston;
Jason and Billy weren't actually expecting to get together; this kind of just. Happened. Jason's dad disinherited him, and Billy's parents welcomed Jason in with open arms. They've been together since Jason came back and became a scuba instructor. Billy became a science professor, Jason is still a scuba instructor. They have two kids, one adopted and one was a magic spell turned oopsie baby. Jackson is adopted, but not human. He's a Xybrian who ended up on earth after a freak accident with his parent's ship. He's purple haired, and Billy and Jason offered to take him in until a good Xybrian option could be found. No better options were found. He's 27 but still going to school as lifespans of Xybrians are far far longer than humans. He halves his time. school year is on Xybria, breaks are on earth. Extremely protective of little brother Zachary, who is seventeen. He does find it a bit of a whiplash, going from non psychic society to planet full of them, but he's adaptable. Is interested in becoming a cartographer. while associated with purple, he's not interested in being a ranger as of right now.
Zachary was intended to be something entirely different than what he is. Vile created the perfect copies of Billy and Jason's strengths and combined them. Unfortunately, this was what they themselves considered their strengths. Billy's intelligence of course, but his sense of fashion as well. Jason's fighing skills yes, but also his adaptability, and his sense of humor. Vile deemed this a failure, but instead of a spell destroying the young man, he got turned into a baby due to quick thinking from Zack and Rocky. Billy and Jason figured since he existed, they'd just raise him. He's fairly well adjusted, excitable, and really passionate. A little bit of a himbo, a little bit too smart for his own good too. not associated with any color. He was named Zachary Rocky Scott in honor of the two who managed to keep him alive.
Eugene Skullovitch;
They were paired up for a school assignment a little after Tommy was reformed and saved from Rita. It was annoying, especially with Skull being so cagey and Bulk straight up threatening him if he went to the Skullovitch residence or business. When Jason dared, he realized why. And had to get saved from Mrs Skullovitch flirting with him. Which earned Skull a lot of verbal abuse as he pulled Jason far away from the house.
While he found our later she was drunk and had mistaken him for someone older, it was still rather panic inducing. Also embarrassing for the Skullovitch brothers and Bulk. He had to stop Stan apologizing on behalf of her, and understood Bulk’s anger. Jason felt the need to make it up to Skull, and they went from antagonizing each other to friends to semi-secretly dating each other. Everyone knew except Skull’s family. Jason didn’t even know what made him angrier; the fact Skull felt he had to protect Jason, or the fact that he lived in Tommy’s house whenever Tommy’s parents didn’t live there, and Skull’s parents didn’t seem to notice. They have one adopted daughter. Skull’s a guidance counselor at their old high school, and Jason is a karate instructor. Rebecca Scott is actually Stan’s, but Stan died and his girlfriend died in a car crash caused by monster activity, and the newborn was the only survivor. Eugene would have adopted her with or without Jason there. Luckily Jason was there, and Jason fell in instalove with the baby. She was very small and he loved her.
Jason and Skull got married to make it easier for Jason to formally adopt Rebecca, in case something happened and because everyone felt distancing her and Skull from the Skullovitch legacy was the best idea, and this could be accomplished by taking Jason's last name. He was only too happy to do this. He was disinherited by his dad, but it doesn't matter. The guy lost out on getting to know a great kid. Rebecca’s blind from the car accident, and has a dog and a cane to help her around. She’s 15, and nothing stops her. She’s got a lot of caution, but very little outright fear. The power rangers will protect the civilians, and her skills and disability aids help keep her safe as well. She loves to read, and has read every braille book in the library twice. She’s aware her dads are power rangers, and most of her extended family. They’re not going to let anything happen to her. And she’s going to make sure nothing happens to them. Rebecca is opinionated with a very strong sense of right and wrong. She’s actually rather blunt, but tries to be nice about it. She knows her mind and she knows how to direct people, but she hates being in a confrontation. Not associated with a color, but it’d probably be red or bronze if she were.
Matt Cook;
Getting with Jason felt a little like leaning how to breathe again. Jason came home and Matt quickly got into sparring with him every weekend, like old times. It devolved into a lot of pent up rage related sex. And then all of that was gone…and there were two angry hurt teenagers who didn’t know how to be healthy about love or sex. Cut to fifteen years later, Jason’s a mechanic, Matt’s an accountant. And nothings changed. In between then and now, Jason had a kid. He doesn’t remember who the mother was, and anyway Diego Scott was left on his porch basically. He’s four. Matt likes the way Diego likes piggy backs. And dinosaurs and zombies. Matt likes how whole he feels with Jason and Diego. It’s pretty late in life, but he’s willing to make a go of this, if Jason is willing. And so far, he is. Diego keeps the two on their toes, being ready to get into the thick of everything and anything. But he's four, that's typical, and he's Jason's. And Matt thinks the kid's the best.
Emily (last name unknown);
Emily was Jason's on and off again girlfriend all through zeo. She saved him from ending up like Tommy, whose entire life was consumed by rangerdom. When he stopped being gold, he had a small moment of identity crisis, before he got pointed out he had a girlfriend who loved him no matter how much he'd flaked on her, and she was waiting at the beach.
During forever red, the reason he was late was her. He didn't want to lose himself, or worse, die. It was Emily's faith in him and their marriage and love that kept him from making this a habit. He took Red on again as a temporary, before giving it to Rocky. Emily kept him out of the habit. One look at her and their life, and he's fine. He's got what he needs. This is why he put the suit on in the first place.
Emily and Jason have three kids. Maya, aged 27, Rowan, aged 24, and Nathan, aged 16.
Maya's been transitioning for eight years. Jason and Emily were both surprised, but they love their kid more than anything and adapted quickly. When she was figuring out a name, they offered her the name they would have named her if they'd known she was a girl. She has it as a middle name, and chose her first name from another source. Maya's a scuba instructor like Jason. She has a lot of fond memories of how he'd teach her, and they'd go diving around Angel Grove's cliffsides and he showed her the different ecosystems. She thought this was the most beautiful and cool thing in the world. So, she's doing it, and loves getting new people into the hobby. She's a good big sister and knows her siblings well enough to know when they need a Break. She always manages to find them and have them come with on a scuba dive. Both younger siblings benefit from being forced to calm down and take care of their equipment. No hot heads allowed when you're doing scuba diving. She's also always got protein bars in her purse, and trail mix, and other things. Hangry doesn't work either, and food and water on hand is necessary. She's dependable, and takes her life seriously, if slowly. Not associated with a color.
Rowan's self employed. He's a little bit of a wanderer. He's got some ideas what he wants to do with his life, and does it. He's a ghost writer and can get up to four books done a month. He lives in a modified van and will go to Maya's or his parents when he needs a shower and a hot meal. He's been all over California, and has met several teams while traveling. The joke is that he's only going to grow roots if and when he gets a ranger color. This is true, he can't deny, but it wouldn't lock him down to a house or apartment; he likes his current lifestyle too much to just leave it. He's not really Jason. He knows exactly who he is. He's not searching for himself everywhere. He's found himself already, but that self wanders. When he is in Angel Grove, he's usually hanging out with Maya or letting Nathan and Nathan's friends hang out with him. He brings back gifts for his brother, and Maya. Not associated with a color, but he will be. It'll be a little unusual in that it's silver, not gold, but Jason's going to chalk it up with Rowan taking after Emily rather than himself.
Nathan likes the weird and grotesque and odd. He's a little bit of a weido, but his siblings love him. He's got a heart of gold and while weird, he's generally not creepy. Nathan definitely worries his parents. If anyone's going to become some pawn of rangerdom or villainy, it's Nathan. He's always spelunking or exploring abandoned places or picking up dubious and possibly cursed items. Jason's just. waiting. for this kid to start wearing monochrome color coordinated clothing. Or start acting like an utter brat. He knows the signs, he has Tommy and the dark ranger kids on speed-dial. He's waiting. Nathan's annoyed by the perceived lack of faith in him. He's capable, and he's fine. Curious to a dangerous extent, maybe, sure, you could say that, but he's also got a line of caution in it, too. He's genre aware, you could say. He knows when to walk away. But...well. Nathan's competitive and Jason knows this. He's not betting against Nathan getting into a situation out of a sense of justice or because someone challenged him. Nathan does hang out a lot with his siblings, especially with his older brother. Maya's kind of embarrassing, but just because she knows him so well, and his friends tease him his sister knows how to talk him down from things so well. Nathan will be a red ranger, in about a year. And Jason's going to know the instant it happens.
Trini Kwan;
They got together in their teens after putty!Matt got them thinking about it, and after a short time apart, they got back together. Jason and Trini co-parent Minh, and have a kid of their own. Terry Scott is twelve and while deeply enthusiastic over everything, he's rather reserved. Fairly calm, and watchful. He's always pausing before talking. Definitely a mama's boy. However, he likes battle borgs with Jason, and they do watch each new season together. Terry's got no interest in being a power ranger. When Trini died, he had even less interest in it. Kid keeps Jason out of rangerdom, because how could he go back in when Minh's currently a yellow, and Terry's still grieving his mom. Terry and Minh's relationship has gotten really strained, and Jason's trying to keep the family together. Trini'd want him to try.
Katherine Hillard;
When Jason came back, Tommy and the rest were Zeo at that point. When he began really interacting with them again he noted to his surprise Kim had left for a scholarship after graduating a year early, and Kat Hillard was the current pink. Jason was enamored, but respected she was with Tommy.
While they defeated the Machine Empire, Tommy broke up with Kat on account of the trauma. Jason accepts he was her rebound, but they’ve been together since and he’s content, and so is Kat. They have one daughter.
Dena Louisa Scott, aged 27. Dena Louisa is a cartoonist for the local newspaper, and hopes to one day have her comic strips published across America. She also posts her little strips on her own website. The “bugaboo scouts” is a tongue in cheek recounting of the stories her parents told her about their time as rangers, though focusing on the more hilarious aspects of rangerdom. A group of tiny anthropormorphic bugs with attitude are tasked with saving picnic grove! With lots of shenanigans. Smart, quiet, though more in the line of Jason’s brand of quiet. She does have explosive anger, and has been going to therapy for it. Constantly bucks against authority figures, though she’s taught herself how to work through the urge to argue, especially if it’s a fair point. Loves her parents, who are supportive, and often does her best work while at the park. Not associated with a color. She is however part of the mentor flavored comedy duo. They offer advice, though it’s flavored by the past experience of her parents, which isn’t always helpful to the situation at hand. And Dena’s general advice is either “well hit it really hard” or “have you tried the power of friendship?” And are vague enough to not be overly helpful. Is quite nice to the monsters though, and the minions love her while their bosses. Do not. She’s successfully caused two galactic unionizations.
Kimberly Hart;
When Kim and Jason both stopped being rangers, there was a…growing pain, reacclimating to normal civilian teen life, to be sure. With Jason also coming off the heels of having just buried his mom. Kim and Jason spun their wheels for a bit trying to get around the awkward and be there for each other. Eventually it settled into a devoted romance. They have two daughters. Kristine Alana Scott-Hart, aged 21, and Jenny Rose Scott-Hart, aged 17.
Kristine is planning on going into NASA, fascinated by the stars and the adventures of her parents but more interested in the very close by solar system. She’d like to explore Mars, Neptune, Pluto, rather than anything farther. Her reasoning is the ocean is on the planet and barely explored, in lieu of more interesting subjects. Their neighboring planets are a bit like the ocean, and she’s keen on seeing what secrets they hold first, before anything else. She’s been told if she sees a dumpster however, don’t for the love of the grid open the stupid thing. Nobody wants to know what ancient space warlord’s inside. Somehow managed to be more science minded than fight minded, and Kim and Jason don’t know how that happened but they love their kid anyway. Billy thinks it’s hilarious.
She has a fairly easy going relationship with her parents. She can tell them things and they trust her. Not associated with a color, and gets along well with her sister, who is.
Jenny Rose is going to be a kickboxing champion. She decided this at five years old and it’s never changed. She’s a violinist and a kickboxer, and uses the dichotomy to confuse people constantly. Would rather get in the ring with someone than date them. She’s the pink ranger of her team. It’s a little confusing until someone listens to her coaching the putties on how to kick better, and then it starts making sense. When she’s older, she wants to own a dojo and run self defense sessions and kickboxing classes for teens and kids. It’s always surprising to people, but she gets along well with her sister.
Aisha Campbell;
Surprising everyone, including himself, Billy was chosen for the peace conference, not Jason. Rocky became the blue mighty morphin, and Jason struggled with the new dynamic. He often butt heads with Aisha, who stood up for Adam and Rocky against the Red when her boys wouldn't. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha became a throuple, but Aisha also married Jason, who while he did have to get used to it, likes Rocky and Adam as friends and paramours, and likes that Aisha is happy. Together, Aisha and Jason have one son, Seth Landon Scott, aged seventeen.
Seth is not a ranger, and he's not interested in being a ranger. He's more interested in being a park ranger for national parks. Any would do, just so he can be out in nature. He's not really interested in the ocean, and is far more interested in forests and mountains. strong willed, stubborn, imaginative, and happy to help. Is friends with a lot of rangers and ranger's kids, but, he's happy not being a ranger despite their not so subtle recruitment efforts.

even though I don't think Viviana is as bad as people say it is really sad to see such a beloved and popular npc be designed with a kit that is so clearly hyper conservative in what it gives her even if the numbers aren't bad. Especially since this feels like hg is just cashing in a on a fan fave npc cause they know people will pull for her no matter what. module thoughts under the cut since turns out I had a lot more thoughts on those then I realized.
I know people say she probably won't get a module for awhile cause surtr but I wanna talk about how they could patch up her kit with modules using what they've done before as a guide. even though I actually think she might get one sooner then people assume cause with how surtr works it's pretty easy to give her a mild module since shes mostly just a massive stack stick. like they did with eyja and ceobe or blaze and gavial where the weaker 6 got a much better module. also pretty much no matter what Viviana gets a module is gonna buff up her numbers a lot just cause she of the triple hit and % damage buff she has.
first thing is I think arts guards base mod should be +1 block mainly cause it feels so silly for a class clearly with a lot of focus on defense to only be one block, this also barely helps surtr s3 but does make her better for people that want to use s1 and s2.
for the level two and three I think theirs two routes they can go down for her either the exe alt route aka buff up number give res/def ignore which imo could look something like
increases arts damage 8/12/15 phys and arts damage taken 8/12/15. and ignores res 5/8 affect double if elites/boss are in range.
or if they wanna get a bit silly with it no res ignore but triple if elites/boss are in range.
The other option I could see them doing is going the eben mod y/delta or rosa's module and have a module like.
increases arts damage 8/9/12 phys and arts damage taken 8/9/12. if both elite and non elite enemies are in range deal 50% damage to non elite.
I do think the first is a lot more likely then the second just cause it's a lot easier, but given the cn fandoms reception to her kit I've seen I actually think it's fairly likely she gets a mod that helps her out a lot.
This post is fully fueled by cope just being 100% clear.

WIP excerpt for @qwertynerd97 behind the cut; Billy adopts Conner and it actually goes pretty good!
Maybe Billy should just say something first, but he doesn't want to talk over Lynn, so . . .
“It looks different from the box ones,” Lynn says after a moment, frowning a little.
“Oh, yeah,” Billy says, glancing down at the cake too. “This is more, like, traditional strawberry shortcake? The snack cakes are kinda copies of it.”
“. . . ‘copies’,” Lynn repeats.
“Yeah,” Billy says. “Just, you know, a different version?”
“. . . which ones are better?” Lynn asks slowly.
. . . yeah, that seems like a loaded question, Billy thinks.
“Neither, really,” he says with a shrug. “I mean, you can't pack the traditional stuff in a lunchbox or keep it around all the time, it'd get all stale and gross. But the snack cakes aren't as good for parties and things like that. So I dunno, it just depends on what you want ‘em for.”
Lynn doesn't say anything. He just stares at the cake.
Billy really hopes he's doing this right.
“If you don't like it, we'll just get you more snack cakes instead,” he says, resisting the urge to fidget. It feels like a stupid thing to feel anxious about, but Lynn's been alive for so little time, and it makes him feel like every single thing that could go wrong would be the worst thing that's ever happened to him.
Well, it would be, right?
Admittedly giving him the wrong cake is probably not gonna be on par with Cadmus mind-controlling him, but Billy's seen people get hurt or break down over stuff that looks really minor from the outside a lot of times, and . . .
After his parents died and Uncle Eben stole everything they left him and threw him out on the street like he was nothing, the worst things always seemed so small. Things like how he lost his home and everything he’d ever owned, how he doesn't have any photos of his mom and dad or even anything that belonged to them at all . . . those things are just too big to really feel, sometimes. Too big to really process.
But things like how it always rains at the worst possible time and the time he ripped his warmest hoodie too bad to fix and the year his backpack got stolen right before winter set in . . .
Things like those, Billy’s sobbed himself sick over.
He doesn't want to ever make Lynn feel anything like that.
He doesn't want anything to ever make Lynn feel like that.
He knows things . . . will, probably. Someday, at least. But he wants to be someone who Lynn can feel safe coming to when it happens, not the person causing it. Especially not over a stupid mistake or something thoughtless. Lynn doesn't deserve that.
Billy wants to be a good dad more than he's ever wanted maybe anything in his life, it feels like, and it's sort of . . . weird, actually, and a little scary. What if he messes it up? What if he's just not good enough? What if . . .
Lynn sticks one of the plastic forks in the closest piece of strawberry shortcake. Takes a bite.
Frowns.
“. . . it is different,” he says, not looking at him. Billy, again, barely holds back from fidgeting.
“Um, yeah,” he says. “So! They're both good, I think. Just not good the same way or for the same stuff.”
Lynn keeps frowning down at the cake. Billy worries that he maybe sounds stupid or patronizing or something, or that Lynn just thinks he's full of shit, or . . . or whatever, he guesses.
Worries that he's doing this wrong, more than anything else.
He really doesn't want to do this wrong.
“. . . fine,” Lynn mutters, and then takes a bite of the chocolate cake instead. Billy isn't sure if that's a good sign, but relaxes a little anyway. It might be one? Maybe?
Lynn seems to like the cake okay, at least.
They eat all three slices of it between them–Billy tries to leave bigger shares for Lynn and Tawky, but he's not sure he manages to; it's just really good. He hasn't actually had cake in a while, come to think of it. Not, like, the kind that didn't come from a snack cake. Somebody got a cheap grocery store sheet cake for a “no one died this time!” party at the Watchtower a few months ago, but . . .
Well, it didn't taste like this, even though that was arguably a special occasion too.
Though this time he's not gonna be all alone as soon as the party's over and everyone goes home, so . . . maybe that's why, he guesses. Lynn is gonna be living with him at least until he can pass for eighteen, though Billy's hoping for a little longer. Two years is a long time, but not very long compared to an actual eighteen. And it's just gonna be nice to have–well, to live with somebody again.
Especially to live with family again.
Better family than Uncle Eben, he means.
Billy feels . . . weird, a little. Just–thinking about that feels weird.
He hopes Lynn is gonna stay longer than just two years. He'll still do this even if he doesn't wanna, obviously, but . . .
He doesn't know. He just wants to be a good dad. Just wants to do right by Lynn, whatever “right” turns out to be.
But he still wishes, well . . .
He's not sure what he's wishing, exactly, but he wants Lynn to stay.
“I kinda had a question,” he says while Lynn and Tawky are finishing the last of the strawberry shortcake. “Do you always mean it when you say ‘no’? Or, um–‘yes’, either.”
Lynn–pauses. Lowers his fork.
“. . . why,” he asks very, very slowly, though he doesn't really pitch it like a question.
“Um,” Billy says. “Because if you don't, I don't really know what to do when you do? I don't wanna just assume things, you know? I don't know you well enough to make guesses on that kind of thing, and I mean . . .”
That'd feel so unsafe, is all he can think. Lynn would just have to hope he guessed right all the time, and hope he wasn't gonna be the kind of asshole who “guessed” wrong on purpose and then said he'd said it was okay, so he hadn't done anything wrong, it was Lynn's own fault, so–
Billy knows more about the world than Lynn, obviously, but he isn't infallible even with the wisdom of Solomon, and he’d never want to make Lynn feel like some people have made him feel. Like trusting someone is stupid, when he knows that’s not true. He’s not the one who messed up, if he trusts someone who treats him badly for it. He’d be the one in the wrong if he ignored the “no” problem and made it Lynn’s problem.
But he still wants to make sure Lynn doesn’t ever feel bad about himself for anything like this.

I took pics of my friends' cotton children 🤣 pictured here is Ichi's Ms. Christine (Ichi was cosplaying as Phantom), Lius' Dr. Rein, and Ao's Corroserum
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn't bring the 20cm dolls this time, because I was wearing eben itabag and there isn't much space inside. I wish I have 10cm doll or omanjuu, so I can easily bring them everywhere 🥺 (imma save this idea for later).
Now, this is something I NEVER thought I'd get:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A birthday surprise from my boothmates😭😭😭😭😭🫵🫵🫵🫵❤️❤️❤️ when they came up in front of our table with that mask, the only thing that came out of my mouth was just "are you kidding me" 🤣🤣🤣😭🤣🤣😭😭😭 they really are the best fr 😭😭🫶 love you creaturas....
I also received an ebkr shikishi from Lius... Thank you... 😭🫶
Tumblr media
Too bad I forgor to take pics of my own stuff (my goat book...) but yeah, joining an event that is not CF is a nice change of pace for me (and for us. My boothmates and I really enjoyed this event).
I think COCOMA's aim is to encourage us to make more books instead of merchandise (they prioritized letting in circles who had books), and it's working well for me. I feel motivated to make more books now. I honestly love making a book, because I feel like I'm also learning a lot in the process. I want to get better at drawing so I can deliver more delicious fanbooks 🥺🥺🥺🫶 go go akseeee

Hey, is Ebenholz good? I heard that he was kinda trash at first when he came out on JP but no real specifics. What's his niche?
I'll hit you with the cold water and tell you off rip that he is a relatively weak 6*, yeah. Not useless, really, weak in the Your Resources Would Be Better Spent Elsewhere(tm) way, not in the This Guy Sucks And Loses Often way, he still does his job and you can definitely build him.
His main niche is boss killing, with his S3 being the conductor of this particular symphony, but it requires some real precise timing and map knowledge so you don't waste stacks on trash mobs so you can actually see the fireworks go off. When executed properly, though, his damage is Pretty Damn Insane. Problem is, you can get damage on the same level without jumping through flaming hoops with plenty of other boss killers, so this is mostly a If It Appeals To You, Go Ahead kind of gameplay thing. Seeing a big number go off and a health bar deplete is very fun, after all.
For general use aside from that, it's a toss between S1 and S2, and here's the thing with Ebenholz: His kit is fun. Not meta, but it's fun. S1 is a short-lived, 5 second long funeral dirge wherein Eben forgets he's a Caster and pulls out a machine gun. He blasts the absolute hell out of whatever is in a line in front of him for a truly absurd number of attacks. Of course, it lasts 5 seconds, because he then remembers he's a Caster, but it's a very fun 5 seconds. Upkeep is manageable (19 charge Lv7, 15 charge M3), but I would use his more consistent S2 instead. Eben takes a look at what that weird W chick is doing, says "I can do you one better", and spends his accumulated stacks (+1 freebie) as landmines in his range, which explode and pull enemies towards them. S2 in particular gets pretty nutty returns out of Masteries (15% damage each mine per Mastery for a total of +45% profits at M3, wau!) so if you want to M6 the guy, S2 and S3 are my recs (S2 basically turns his Atomize This Guy stacks into more serviceable Half-Atomize These Guys stacks, with very good upkeep 14 charge at lv7 13 charge M3). The machine gun is fun, but remember that it turns his range into a line, ISN'T AoE, and ultimate overkills the crap out of a small number of foes or deals respectable damage to something with bulk, instead of killing a bigger number of foes (S2) or absolutely atomizing something if done right (S3). In other words, his S1 is the Middle Of The Road skill that tends not to fare well in Arknights (as opposed to the Master Of The Entire Road kind of skills that fare well in Arknights like Thorns S3 or Saria S3, or the Extremist Specialist skills that also fare well in Arknights, like Schwarz S3 or Radiant Knight S2).
I rate him He Really Wanted To Be Sniper Evidently out of ten, and give him an A for effort and style.
