im gonna do it in order zombies -> zombie superpowers -> superpowers okay. i realised u maybe just meant the one thats both im not sure? but i already typed most of this up so too bad

first up egressregress babeyyyy we all know... i think its set in like. the 2000s/early 2010s... there was a poorly handled viral outbreak that caused zombies to happen etc. its pretty much your typical "society is broken down the government fell everythings a free for all" situation. theres pockets of civilization but much, much more small and scattered, there are areas with few or no people, there are areas that are controlled by certain groups or factions, etc. there is some form of self appointed government out there but they ghave no far reaching control.

the characters the story centers around are mostly isolated- they live close by but still a distance away from a well known main road that leads to an area controlled by the "government" and other safe zones and so is often traveled. cooper, dahlia, and elliot are somewhat a group, but they fucking hate each other so bad and they all suck.

the zombies themselves are pretty generic. disease spread via bite it over the course of days to maybe two weeks at most with no intervention degrades the body and eats away at the brain. theyre slow moving, generally die partway into the disease progression, and move out of instinct. theres not much of a focus on the zombies themselves in the story, but they do play a part in the mindset and morality of cooper

THA SECOND ONE my furry zombie superpowers world. smiles. so this is like my newest ocs so i genuinely dont have much but its one that i really really enjoy bc its very self indulgent lol. its... i want to say kind of futuristic? but its a different world as well so. like its not Futuristic but its set in a world w technology + stuff slightly more advanced than ours. its like Furry World. u get it

theres a very small subset of people who have or develop powers. it is there is a genetic factor to it but i dont really have that thought out yet... typically they develop around puberty but can and do develop at any time in someones life

the story starts at the onset of a zombie outbreak- there are very, very few cases, but it is widespread, and extremely dangerous. id say its been like a few months since the first case... the main characters are a part of a team sent out to investigate and study the disease in an attempt to figure out how it spreads and try to find a cure, or at least prevent it from spreading further. the main character, leah, is a "scientist" on this team- shes the one leading the research for her group. leah has powers that appear very similar to the physical symptoms of the disease. shes trying her hardest to keep it under wraps while they investigate, and desperately hoping that there is no link between her and the outbreak

leahs powers are... bio-manipulation? essentially. she cannot alter the mind but can do a lot of crazy shit to the body

the virus ive actually thought about this one pretty in depth okay hold on. its spread through body fluids primarily and is asymptomatic + will remain such unless its exposed to someone with a symptomatic infection (generally via bite but can also be spread through body fluids). if youre bitten by someone with a symptomatic case and you dont have the virus youll just die no zombie mess it iwll kill u... the progression of the disease once "activated" (idk) is slow it generally takes minimum a week before it reaches its final stage but usually takes closer to 2, with 4 weeks being the longest it can take. it causes rapid physical growth + mutations, mostly additional body parts, and causes a huge increase in metabolic processes and how much fuel the body needs that eating enough food is almost impossible, and it starts eating at the body and brain pretty quickly. eventually the person dies but the body is still driven on by the disease until it eats itself alive, and is unable to function anymore. common mutations are just growth of the body and replication of body parts, especially teeth, fingers, and stomachs, but it also commonly duplicates limbs eyes other organs etc. (SECRAT ACTUAL PLOT POINT SPOILER) in the circumstance the body mutates in a way that lets it take in larger amounts of food (more stomachs mouths teeth) and has access to enough food, for example a group of people dedicated to feeding it, it can, theoretically, grow forever. eventually the mutations will be so severe it will be unrecognizable as having been a person and can no longer move. itd be pretty much impossible to keep one fed for more than a year or so unless you were feeding it like. a ridiculous amount of meat.

last storuy ok the superpowers one. i dont have much additional to say wrt the powers than i did in the other post but i can tell u about the people... i actually have a fair few characters for this one but the story centers on adrienne. adrienne is a teenage girl with kinetic manipulation powers, she can store and use kinetic energy which generally comes out as some find of explosive force or something like that. i really am not happy with her story because shes a very old character now so i need to rework it a lot. some other characters:

kasey- a young woman with healing powers who was working as an EMT when her powers developed. she resents her powers and has the same mentor as adrienne, theyre narrative foils, etc.

sonar- adrienne and kaseys mentor. hes ex superhero + regrets his time as a hero, and is trying to get the girls on track. he doesnt want anything to do with the whole hero and villain sort of scene anymore but feels obligated to keep the others safe

longshot- ^sonars ex husband lol. hes a hero turned villain, in part because of their falling out, but bc of a lot of other things too. he has really good eyesight and shoots people. with guns

roulette, copycat, 2 more unnamed characters- a small villain group that are involved in the plot and that adrienne gets involved with while shes trying to do...whatever i decide she ends up doing in her new story. they arent anything serious and mostly just rob banks and shit

I loved ch 6!!!! Seeing Daemon be all bad ass was hot af! Ugh and seeing Mysaria back I was like 😐 and I feel like when she was trying to talk to Daemon he was like 😐. Though I understand why he rejected babey's advances, I still felt bad for her. But I loved his little talk with Ūlla! And his confession about babeyyyy! Ugh and I love how babey just welcomed Daemon into her arms like nothing was wrong and him crying 🥺. The little family of 4 just being together ❤️. I can't wait for more! - 🔥

Don't worry, Mysaria isn't set to have a major role in the story right now - I just wanted it known that she was back in Westeros so that the progression to Episodes 8 and 9 makes sense later on. She's around, but not hankering after Daemon or anything; she tested the waters, got rejected, and has decided "oh well, moving on". She's hardly devastated by the loss - he's a good lay, but a bit of a dickhead to her lol.

Daemon had the feeeeeeels this chapter, and it's unfortunate that Babey copped some of the fallout but it is what it is, you know? You can't control the way you react to things, and he was having MAJOR trauma flashbacks at the sight of her underneath him. Poor boi. He was so sad this chap, but I'm here for the character growth! Daemon and Babey and their babies, what a sweet (fucked up) sweet family.

i know nothing abt detective conan apart from what was established in the two lupin crossover specials. enlighten me

OH BOY u activated Ultimate Hyperfixation mode thank u... it's So Much. iirc the specials established the basics; high school detective Shinichi Kudo, somewhat well known as the "modern era sherlock holmes" was on a date outing with his childhood best friend, Ran Mouri, to the local amusement park. While there (and after solving a murder), he noticed two shady dudes dressed in all black, followed them, saw one of them doin crimes, then got brained by the other one w/a metal pipe sdjfgsk. the men in black gave him an experimental drug (APTX 4869, which is also a sherlock holmes pun (shi ha ro kyu)) said to kill without a trace. but! little did anyone know, it has a rare side effect of Turning You Into A Child instead of dying and that's what happened to shinichi sdkjfgsdf. (this might not actually be a side effect. the prototype drug might be an attempt to make a drug that makes u immortal. maybe.) He decided to ask if he could live with Ran and her dad, Kogoro Mouri(a disgraced ex-cop private detective) bc he thought that if he was in a detective agency, he could more easily find the ppl who did this to him! he named himself Conan Edogawa in a panic after being backed into a bookshelf (Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo books, naturally). For a while, Conan ends up following Kogoro to any cases he's on (and the Random Murders they run into almost daily), knocking Kogoro out with an anesthesia-laced needle hidden in his watch and using a voice changer to solve the cases as Kogoro (this turns Kogoro into a minor celebrity: the Sleeping Kogoro, named bc he looks like he's sleeping when he's solving cases (he is sleeping actually. sdkjfgsd)) It starts slowly coming to light that the men who attacked Shinichi are a part of some larger Evil Organization with hands in corruption, illegal weapons trade, assassinations, u name it. Also they're all named after different kinds of alcohols (hard liquor for the men, diff kinds of wines for the women iirc) (the two who attacked shinichi are called Gin and Vodka)! One day a girl shows up at his neighbor's (Professor Hiroshi Agasa, the first person who knows that Shinichi is Conan) house, and eventually introduces herself as Sherry, the creator of the drug that shrunk him. she betrayed the org after they killed her sister (which conan was present for), and took the drug herself and escaped from where they were holding her when she too turned into a child. Now she's goin by Ai Haibara and is working to try and reverse-engineer an antidote for the two of them! There's also a group of Actual Kids who latched onto Conan and Haibara bc "Wow these two are smart and cool!" :] they formed the Detective Boys and they love going out and solving cases (and unfortunately see their fair share of murders :( ) As far as like the Main Cast (so many ppl) I'd narrow it down 2 probably Shinichi/Conan, Ran, n Kogoro! but also when u look up "detective conan main characters" the wiki page has a promotional image with like 43 ppl on it so. i'd also include heiji hattori (another high school detective, and the first one to figure conan out. they're besties now), professor agasa, and the detective boys :] the series has a general "monster of the week" format with a LOT of non-directly-plot relevant cases b4 kinda just. slamming so much plot that has been slowly setting up onto u in a Big Confrontation sdfhskjdg its like the kind where when u get there u go OHHH THAT WAS FORESHADOWING AUUUGH but then nothing big happens for another 100 chapters so sjdkgfjksdhskbs ALSO IT'S LONG AS FUCK I SHOULD MENTION THAT ongoing since 1994 babeyyyy getting close to 1100 chapters. pain BUT i do kinda love that for it. it's so long and theres SO many characters but that means nearly every reoccuring character is gonna get SOME kind of arc and growth as a person which is cool! like yeah there's A Lot but i feel like it does a p good job of juggling that big cast of ppl :] a lot of wild shit goes on like. there's sooo much backstory for some of the characters n so many connections between them it makes my brain

happy drawing lines between characters and bein like okay so you're connected to this person bc of THIS person and so on and so forth. also i think within the first 1/4 it's kinda just "hm smthn shady going on" and then suddenly the fbi is just. there. i think it's outright stated that they don't have permission from the japanese government to be there either. ALSO there's so many british ppl for some reason??? i mean i know why (sher lock holms) but it's still really funny to see some of these characters n b like. if u were speaking english u would have a thick british accent. oh should probably mention magic kaito too. so magic kaito was an earlier series by the same author focusing on kaito kuroba, a high schooler magician who ends up becoming a phantom thief (the kaitou KID) while evading a mysterious shady organization, trying to find out who killed his father (the og KID), and also trying to find a gemstone that supposedly makes u immortal? magic kaito got HEAVILY sidelined when detco started (and got way more popular) but the author made kaito a reoccuring character within detco, making them set in the same universe. now it feels like rather than writing for magic kaito, the author just writes a KID heist in detco skdjfgskjd (<- crying in "magic kaito hasn't updated in 3 years") this is like. mostly fine. except real magic explicitly exists in magic kaito (one of his classmates is a witch) which does kinda clash with the Mostly Grounded In Reality murder mysteries of detco sdjkfgsd

OH YEAH also the dub/localization was called Case Closed and they tried to Americanize it. Shinichi's name got changed to Jimmy Kudo sdkjgsdkfsdjskd i would watch the dub just bc from what ive seen it's venturing into "so cheesy it's hilarious" territory but it made me cringe so bad when i tried skjdfhsjkd despite my best efforts... i cannot handle Jimmy. THANK U AGAIN 4 THE ASK i hope that was somewhat coherent!!

One last time, y’all. This campaign and these characters have meant so much to me, and this seven hour finale was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. (Yes, I shed actual tears at one point, which rarely happens to me with media. But this is a special occasion.) These liveblogs are nearly as long as the episode itself, so grab a snack! With that being said, here are my very last liveblogs for Campaign 2 of Critical Role. As always, major spoilers below, so beware. 

- Veth taking a level in Wizard, god I am really gonna cry ten minutes into this thing...  😭

- “I think you’re a good person” I never thought that I’d hear Beau say that about Essek and this genuinely might be what breaks me... she thinks he’s a good person.... redemption is possible.... maybe love is real....

- Also. Caleb being a professor was my Number One Endgame Hope for him and the fact that it came true is just so surreal in the best way possible. I’m so used to being robbed of happy endings. The fact that the Mighty Nein all got theirs makes me incredibly happy. A story does not have to be sad to be impactful. Happy stories and happy endings, especially during a time period of tumultuous real life circumstances, have just as much value and meaning and they always will. Caleb is teaching the next generation magic, and he is teaching them to be Good, and he is nurturing them, and that just means so much

- Okay, everyone. I made it all seven hours in one piece with surprisingly minimal tears (though who knows, this might all sink in tomorrow.) I already wrote my thoughts earlier today about how much the Mighty Nein mean to me and how much this show and these characters have kept me holding on during quarantine and today... I’m still not ready to let them go, but I know that I can always revisit to say hello and to say thank you for changing me. Until then though... I love you all more than you could ever know. Hello I would like to apply for the position of Treasurer of Clown-chael Guerin-Truman-Sanders Club. I too am very happy by his choice at the end of S2 to give Alex space to figure out what he wants (by having a relationship with someone other than michael), and also to work on himself. That's Growth Babeyyyy! (I would not be happy if the writers had made this decision if their renewal for S3 had been in question)

I agree with you if there wasn’t a season 3 I’d be pissed monumentally. And I get people are annoyed by Michael walking away but let's think for a second:

Alex singing the song he wrote didn’t automatically = consent to pursuing him. 

Last Michael heard Forrest wanted to help Alex write I don’t think Forrest did in the end according to Carina he was writing the song all year but Michael doesn’t know that. It’d be a dick move to assume that he can just snap his fingers and get Alex back by ignoring everything. 

We don’t know if Alex knows Michael/Maria broke up...they also JUST broke up. Michael immediately pursuing Alex would just achieve the exact same outcome as M**uca in 2 Michael not processing shit and depending on a romantic relationship to heal him not healthy not accurate. We know Malex are the soulmates and actions speak louder than words sometimes.

The song was for Alex by Alex ...Michael just happened to walk into it.

Alex deserves to actually process his pain of having to endure M**uca him putting on a brave face and being self-deprecating isn’t processing his pain. And in Michael walking away, Alex can have the time to do so. 

Alex’s song implies he needs space in order to process his traumas, Michael, ignoring it would show a lack of respect to Alex.

Walking away doesn’t mean Michael doesn’t love Alex it shows Michael truly listening and resonating with the song. And him having the self-awareness to finally acknowledge his own faults. He’s walking away so they can have the healthiest relationship possible he’s willing to learn and he’s willing to wait.

Also for me, one of the biggest indicators for loving someone is championing their happiness. Alex championed Michael’s happiness despite his own heartbreak so to see Michael do the same shows selflessness and sees him prioritising Alex above himself. That says everything to me and shows me he’d be an amazing partner for him.

Michael has some really unhealthy issues. He is a substance abuser he uses sex, acetone and alcohol as unhealthy coping mechanisms and Michael needs some inward time to self reflect on himself. Michael knows he is loved he knows he is wanted what he needs to do is love himself. Fight for himself first.

Also, I don’t know if it needs to be said but Michael/Alex out of all the couples require the most groundwork into having a successful relationship. It’s not a bad thing. They just didn’t have good childhoods and were exposed to a lot of trauma so for them both to be partners in the relationship they have to truly be willing to be open, honest and willing to work for it. And that’s something they both have to be on the same page for. Echo has issues but they had fairly decent childhoods they know what stability is Malex don’t at all. They have to learn.

so sorry i won't stop sending asks about NAR but i need to say, i LOVE that you're actually addressing the fact that James, despite being great, is still sort of the epitome of the boys🎣🔥🥶 situation wise (not really personality wise) in that he's white, filthy rich, a jock... And as far as I've seen in fic, it's sometimes mentioned but mostly brushed off as a non-issue, but you are addressing it and THANK YOU because James is amazing, but he ISN'T PERFECT and i LOVE YOU for acknowledging that

I know he means well and is truly Good At Heart but our upbringings inform our perceptions of the world, and he is a rich attractive charismatic white dude who grew up with every possible privilege, so of course there are behaviors he needs to unlearn! that’s growth and development babeyyyy!

How I feel about this character

i love jack to bits.... i love talking with her and trying to get her to open up and i like that you can joke around with her like when she suggests going pirate with the sr-2..... and then when she questions you back about why you always come down to talk with her??  like she legit can’t wrap her head around someone just wanting to hang out and chat.. shes spish af... i get dejected when you max out your convos with her cos she’s like i get it we’re friends now fuck off and im like jack uwu..... but her growth is so satisfying.. her finding a place to work through her issues that isnt all about killing and just helping her kids.. their time together in the citadel dlc was just too good.... god,, and i like to think that she and shepard bond over them being cerberus experiments against their will... though the circumstances differ they’re both stuck with cerberus’ shadow

all the boys once again!! i think grunt and jack could be so epic as battle buddies,,, they’d just enable each others homicidal tendencies in me2 but then jack would mellow out and grunt would call her a wuss and then she’d beat his ass..... shep/jack i really enjoy as a brotp for reasons stated before :)

My unpopular opinion about this character

i dont think i have any for her.... i do wish she had a different outfit for any mission where they had to wear breathers.... like really jack you’re gonna raid the collector ship with no sleeves.... it’s cold bro..
