I need to talk about why Andrew wasn't there. Neil going to deliberately piss off the FBI is right up his alley, and what if something went wrong???? What if the FBI decided to keep him anyway? What if their plan failed and now both Jean and Neil are in jail? Andrew wouldn't know. Why wasn't he there??? Was it because he's got too many bad memories in California for him to ever return? Was it because he didn't care enough? Was it because Neil didn't want him to worry? Would the plan go smoother if Andrew wasn't there????

And ANOTHER thing ☝️! Neil took one look at a beaten up Jean and immediately switched to French banking on the Trojans not knowing the language yet. I wanna talk about what was going through Neil's mind, seeing that Jean wasn't safe from all harm here. Do you think Neil cursed himself for trusting Kevin with Jean, cursed himself for allowing it to happen? Do you think that Neil wanted to throttle the three of them standing there for allowing it to happen but only just barely held himself back because he heard all the locks being undone. Clearly they were trying, they just didn't know how much more they had to do to keep Jean safe.

Please someone talk to me, I have many a thoughts.

I need to pull an Andrew and hold all those people leaving bad reviews on tsc at knifepoint cos what do you MEAN your problem was that it wasn't about Andreil/didn't have enough Andreil in it. If you were online enough to know that a new book was coming out, you were ALSO online enough to know that it was about Jean Moreau. Even if you didn't find out through Tumblr, every place you can buy the book from has a summary section where you can in fact READ what the book is about. Your poor reading comprehension or just mere laziness when it came to finding out what the book was about before starting to read is YOUR problem, not the writer's so don't you dare leave shitty ass reviews without any actual criticism behind them.

we know abby has seen some really terrible injuries during her time with the foxes/aftermath of spending time with the ravens so she saw jean and was somewhat prepared, but i can imagine the nurses/doctors/trainers for the trojans being absolutely appalled, driven to drink levels of disturbed by seeing jean’s medical records/x-rays/scars. like i can just imagine the coaches and team staff getting together to compare notes on jean and realizing how far into the deep end they were thrown (they’re all cursing kevin day and wymack, and jeremy a little)
