If you're tired of Great British Bakeoff fuckery like Mexican Week but it left a friendly-reality-competition-sized hole in your heart, you can also watch the same format but with flowers ๐ (Full Bloom, The Big Flower Fight), jewelry ๐ (All That Glitters), pottery๐ฏ (Great Pottery Throw Down), glassblowing ๐พ (Blown Away) and woodworking ๐ชต (Good With Wood aka Handmade, which even has Mel Giedroyc on it).
There are also like a dozen other bakeoffs in other countries. Canada and Australia are my faves (I haven't watched the non-English language ones yet bc I can't read subtitles during work).
[Don't watch the 1st season of Australia with Kerry Vincent it is a desecration of the Bake Off name worse than anything Paul Hollywood has ever done. Straya completely course corrects after that though. Do watch the first two seasons of Canada with Dan Levy hosting and channeling all his David Rose energy into it.]
If I'm forgetting any please let me know, I am a bottomless pit of content.

Dominic is so baby deer codedโฆhow tf would he react if you said that to his face
ok but the way i've been SAYING this
file both of these under "bambi"
but i feel like you'd be interviewed about the movie or smth and you're asked specifically about dom, what your first impression of him was like, and you say "he reminded me of bambi... long legs, doesn't really know how to use them in a coordinated fashion.... big dark eyes that reflect back at you like glass when he's looking at you... kinda awkward but very sweet and well-meaning" and he's standing right behind you like โ๏ธ and you walk away from the interview and he puts his arm around you and leans in to whisper, and you think he's gonna say something sweet, and he whispers "what the fuck do you mean i look like a baby deer??"

eureka! (art fight 2024)
[ID: digital art of zelda from tears of the kingdom with an alternate design by @deuynndoodles. she is fat and a woman of colour. her hair is short and poofy, with it half up in a pony tail. she is wearing a redesigned field uniform that is the same in colour but looser and has a bit of a feminine flair. zeldaโs pose is simple. she has one finger pointed in the air as she smiles, like she just had a great idea. the background is brown with blue polka dots. end ID.]

I'm working my way thru Natasia demetriou's entire body of work and I'm now on the big flower fight and I can't stop imagining it as Laszlo and Nadja's ridiculous pet project bc Vic Reeves has vaguely Matt Berry vibes (British, ridiculous)
Natasia looks a lil bored the whole time (which valid) and it's obvs not like the best from a show host but it is very Nadja and that's all I care about
Also floral dresses ๐๐ฅฐ๐๐ฅฐ๐๐ฅฐ๐

@yukikorogashi asked: "Opacho~ What's yer favorite food?"
"Mmmโฆ" In the middle of taking a bite out of the onigiri Itsuki handed her the toddler's chewing slows as her brows furrow in thought. Nothing immediately comes to mind at first, she's eaten plenty of different kinds of foods. Hao-sama liked traveling so she's beenย to multiple countries in her short life, and their group had been full of people of various nationalities. She can't really say she's got a favorite food though.
There's been lots of good things she's tried and many of them left quite the impression, but she wasn't very sure. Still, Itsuki had asked her and she didn't want to give a boring answer. Opacho takes another bite of the riceball in her hand and hums, deciding to pick a dish that she's had and likes enough to want to eat more than once. That's basically what a favorite food was, right?
"Opacho like Tlayudas!" She responds with a small smile, "it traditional Oaxacan food, Peyote used to make it sometimes for group! He told Opacho once that it similar to pizza or quesadilla, depending on how you eat it. Opacho really liked it."
