What makes the whole thing with Sammie ratting Ian out to the MPs even worse is that Ian and Mickey were literally the only ones who didn't do shit to her and her kid. In season 5, even if they WANTED to deliberately put Chuckie in prison themselves, they sorta kinda had their hands full with, I don't know, maybe THE FACT THAT IAN WAS IN THE WORST MENTAL STATE HE HAD EVER BEEN AND HE WAS TRYING TO MANAGE HIS BIPOLAR DISORDER UNMEDICATED AND MICKEY WAS DOING HIS BEST TO BE THERE FOR HIM AND TAKE CARE OF AND HELP HIM IN ANY WAY THAT HE COULD AND KNEW HOW. I get Sammie was mad about the whole thing Carl, I mean how could she not be, her son was put in juvie because of it. BUT WHY FUCK WITH IAN??? LITERALLY THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS KIND TO YOU AND WHO HAD 0 INVOLVEMENT IN THE WHOLE THING.

I appreciate Hori trying over and over to emphasize that Endeavor doesn't want or deserve forgiveness but I also hate how Rei says that everyone in the family is at fault for the dysfunction and trauma. Like...no, your children were literal children and you were repeatedly abused and sexually assaulted by Endeavor to the point that you had a psychotic break. There's one person at fault and it's the man with a flame beard and giant tits.

the teenage girl character that everyone hates bc omg she's sooo annoying & everyone knows that the worst thing a girl can be is kind of irritating so everyone hates her and thinks she's vile and irredeemable (she's 15) and then the show goes on and her personality changes as she grows up and those same people are like omggg they ruined her character she's so different from how she used to be how could they do this it's such a shame 💔💔

First, they discontinue super sons issues, bringing it back for a Halloween special edition and then ghost.
Then, they have Jon age up and date immediately in time for pride, no warning.
Then, he’s Superman.
Then, we get a super sons movie where he’s 10 again (?)
Then, they have Jon and Dick team up as a protege-mentee situation—not bad! Just…not quite the character we’ve just established. Not quite Jon
Then, they have Jon and Damian babysitting wonder woman’s daughter for *checks books* 7 years????? Making Damian and Jon 21 and 24 respectively??? Ok…?
Then, they do Beastworld, and Nightwing comics, AND Superman comics AND Wonder Woman issues with Jon in ALL OF THEM at the SAME TIME and looking vastly different in all of them, with vastly different characterizations, none of them solid, consistent, or acknowledging the fact that he’s been trapped inside a volcano and travelling the multiverse and having a boyfriend all in the same breath.
What am I supposed to be believing right now, DC.

male authors, writing m/m friendships: their bond will develop through hundreds of chapters, we will get to see each stage of their budding relationship, they'll constantly be in each other thoughts, their first instinct will always be to reach for the other, their first worry will always be the other's safety, they'll spend every minute of the day together, they'll be complete opposites and yet perfectly compliment each other, they will put everything they ever loved in risk just to keep the other safe, they will give their life without hesitation to save the other's, they will fight and argue and tease and joke around but they will always be at each other's side at the end of the day, they will plan to spend the rest of their lives together, sharing the happy moments and the hard times, the idea of being without the other being unthinkable, the thought of being always together coming naturally, as easy as breathing.
the same male authors, writing m/f romance: she'll like,, smile once at him and he'll start thinking of marrying her and having children with her idk

Honestly I really want to be able to side with Solas in dreadwolf. I think it'd be super interesting to play as an elf in Tevinter and be able to just go "yeah actually I think Fen'Harel is right let's tear down that veil." I mean I assume the main conflict will be Solas trying to convince your character to join him, or your character being told they have to try and stop him, and there are not enough games that let you side with the presented "villain" character. I want to see what the world is like with no veil I'm so interested. Also so interested to see what full-on Fen'Harel Solas is like. Is he still as empathetic? Or is he more conniving and distanced from "mortals" like the old stories would have us believe?

broke: dazai abandoning chuuya for 4 years ruined their relationship
woke: without their 4 years of separation, dazai and chuuya probably would have never had the amount of individual development they have now and therefore would not have had any chance in cultivating a slightly healthier and more understanding dynamic like they have the potential to now
