What makes the whole thing with Sammie ratting Ian out to the MPs even worse is that Ian and Mickey were literally the only ones who didn't do shit to her and her kid. In season 5, even if they WANTED to deliberately put Chuckie in prison themselves, they sorta kinda had their hands full with, I don't know, maybe THE FACT THAT IAN WAS IN THE WORST MENTAL STATE HE HAD EVER BEEN AND HE WAS TRYING TO MANAGE HIS BIPOLAR DISORDER UNMEDICATED AND MICKEY WAS DOING HIS BEST TO BE THERE FOR HIM AND TAKE CARE OF AND HELP HIM IN ANY WAY THAT HE COULD AND KNEW HOW. I appreciate Hori trying over and over to emphasize that Endeavor doesn't want or deserve forgiveness but I also hate how Rei says that everyone in the family is at fault for the dysfunction and trauma. Then, they do Beastworld, and Nightwing comics, AND Superman comics AND Wonder Woman issues with Jon in ALL OF THEM at the SAME TIME and looking vastly different in all of them, with vastly different characterizations, none of them solid, consistent, or acknowledging the fact that he’s been trapped inside a volcano and travelling the multiverse and having a boyfriend all in the same breath.

Honestly I really want to be able to side with Solas in dreadwolf. I think it'd be super interesting to play as an elf in Tevinter and be able to just go "yeah actually I think Fen'Harel is right let's tear down that veil." I mean I assume the main conflict will be Solas trying to convince your character to join him, or your character being told they have to try and stop him, and there are not enough games that let you side with the presented "villain" character. I want to see what the world is like with no veil I'm so interested. Also so interested to see what full-on Fen'Harel Solas is like. Is he still as empathetic? Or is he more conniving and distanced from "mortals" like the old stories would have us believe?
