Looking over at the framed family portraits from the new pnf trailer got me screaming cuz the frames just get more fancy looking with more time aaahhhh!!!
I hope we get some flashbacks! But if they do I wonder if they’ll show us when the boys started inventing? Did Phineas build anything before Ferb joined the family? Or did it start from the moment they met and onwards? Thoughts🤔
Yall im gonna be real with you. I truly do not spend a lot of time thinking about who Candace and Phin's sperm donor is. They HAVE a dad. Who raised them and adored them and would carve out the sky for the moon and wrap it up in a bow if they so much as asked. They HAVE a dad and that is Lawrence.
There are, like. So many great posts and possibilities stewing about the frames and theyre all so likely. That being said, I do think marriage was never in the picture in the first place. I DO think Candace and Phin's sperm donor being some faceless chicken livered hollywood star is the most likely explanation, and when Linda got pregnant when she wanted to settle down and leave--she just took the kids with her. Which is. Real.
They all look posed just outside of the lawn of the house, like the background is similar so im led to think the tradition is born after taking that first pic with Candace after buying the house--which. Yes. At least confirms the fact that LINDA bought and owned the house before she married Lawrence and the Fletchers moved in. Linda left, brought Candace with her, had Phineas before she cut off the old sperm donor indefinitely, met and married Lawrence, who brought Ferb. And thats it. Thats simply it.
My actual thoughts were mostly on how fucking cute the kids were because awwwwwwww 😭😭😭😭😭 im such a sucker for the BABIES. BABY PERRYYYYYYY. EVEN. LIKE 🥺🥺🥺🥺🙄🙄🙄🙄 GAWDDDDDDDD

In 2017, American film researchers recovered “Something Good – Negro Kiss,” a short film depicting a playful kiss between a Black couple which had not seen the light of day for more than a century. A long-forgotten artifact from the earliest years of American film, the sweet, humanizing vignette, produced by the Selig Polyscope Company, makes a startling contrast to the overwhelmingly racist and blackface-ridden contempory portrayals of African Americans. Four years later in 2021, archivists in Norway, halfway across the world, identified a sister short in their collections—an extended alternate cut which reveals more of Chicago stage performers Gertie Brown and Saint Suttle’s vaudeville-like routine, a theatrical, hot-and-cold romantic dynamic between two lovers which parodies the popular and controversial short “The Kiss” (1896). Both films, which had previously been lost, were known from entries in old motion picture catalogs but had been assumed to be era-typical, anti-Black “race films” until their rediscovery in the 21st century. Together with its more famous sibling, which has since been inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry, this alternate version of “Something Good” represents the first-known instance of Black intimacy ever captured on-screen.
SOMETHING GOOD [Alternate Version] (1898) Directed by William Selig

The Frames' "Fitzcarraldo" is already about boats n shit right? I think Glen Hansard said in a concert at a point it was about someone pushing a boat over a mountain.
THE POINT IS
Boats. Pirates. It makes sense. Pirate Fitzcarraldo makes a whole lotta goddamn sense and I'm disappointed that took me until today to discover.
