I’ve been getting into sewing recently and picking up a bunch of projects that have been piling up in the scary corner of my room. Some of it’s very exciting like this bear I’m finishing turning into a bag today:

But a lot of it is fixing torn clothes or tailoring stuff I’ve thrifted (went to a church rummage sail recently and got soooo many things. They had a big clear out sail the last hour). Not as fun. Still necessary

It’s been very nice to finally get around to some of this stuff but has also meant that I’m not consuming any tf media rn (or media in general) and thus have no commentary to make lol.

I really do miss making posts and chatting with people on tumblr and discord, but I don’t really have anything to say about transformers right now. I suppose I could sit and brainstorm possible things to talk about. I am very good at that and used to do that a lot just to make conversation on here, but I dunno. School has also been crazy

Truthfully you can do whatever you want but so can everyone else so they might want to tell you that what you did was hurtful and they’d prefer if you didn’t do that again and then you can do again if you want but then they might decide that you are selfish (because you prioritized your desire to do whatever it was despite knowing it was hurtful) and block you. You can still do whatever you want even then but so can everyone else so someone else might want to join you in doing the hurtful thing and maybe ANOTHER person will be like, “hey that’s hurtful, please don’t do that,” and you might say, because you can do whatever you want, “you’re so fucking sensitive, can’t do anything these days,” despite having done the thing that you know is hurtful, like, three time, at least. And then other people might be like, “I agree that what you’re doing is hurtful,” and you can still do whatever you want so you could, like, make it worse or, because you can do whatever you want, you could decide to sulkily apologize and do whatever you want in private where you’re less likely to hurt people. And because everyone else can do whatever they want someone could be like, “hey, I’m interested in doing whatever you were doing but noticed that you’re not doing whatever you wanted despite it hurting people.” And you can be like, “I do that in private so that no one gets offended and bothers me about it but did you know that telling me that me doing whatever I want despite it hurting people is hurtful is taking away my right to free expression, the foundation this great nation was built on, by the way,” (despite most western countries having that exact right) and that person could be like, “yeah that’s really fucked up, you should be allowed to hurt people in peace!” And you can be like, “it’s hurtful to me to not be allowed to hurt people that annoy me by existing in such a way that makes what’s fun to me hurtful to them. I’ll admit though, in private to you, since you’re one of the good ones, that it’s most fun when they are hurt by the thing they told me is hurtful to them.”

And then because everyone gets to do whatever they want the ones being hurt might ask you, “is it hurtful to you to not be allowed to hurt us,” and you might get all teary eyed because you’re remembering when you got to do the hurtful thing and hurt people without being shamed for it and say, “it’s really nice that someone cares. It just takes the joy out of life to not be allowed to hurt people without having to explain that I’m still a good person,” and they might be like, “hmm, I think I understand that. Except after I found that my behavior was hurtful it kind of took the fun out of it.” And you might feel like they’re preaching at you so you tell them to “fuck off to where [they] come from,” and because you can do whatever you want you go to town, sign some “stupid ass papers,” and buy a gun so you can more realistically fantasize about offending those pesky sensitive assholes who want to take your rights away by talking about how you have a gun and you can point it at things and it makes really loud aggressive noises when you randomly shoot glass bottle in the backyard which makes you feel powerful.
