Alright so the TOH brainrot has come back in full force after the finale came out so now i too am making one of them lists of things that i liked/stuck out to me. Also sorry if this ends up just being a bunch of incoherent nonsense

HOLY SHIT TITAN!LUZ. the design is so cool what more can i say. Furthermore,

HOLY FUCK LUZ DIED????? i was so not expecting that and good lord was it heartbreaking. Eda and King's reaction to Luz's death were also heartbreaking, and so was the Collector finally realizing what death really is. And oh my god puppet!Camila crying as the balls of light pass by her, showing us that she has had the realization that her daughter died. After the grief and trauma of losing Manny, Camila and Luz had a heart to heart which made their bond stronger than ever, only for Camila to lose Luz aswell.

The raeda in this episode was IMMACULATE. I was really hoping for a kiss but i'm still happy with what WAD gave us. The loving stares, Raine's absolute joy when Eda and Titan!Luz came to their rescue in the throne room, the hugs and nuzzles, the cuddling in their new nest, etc. They seem so relaxed and happy at the end. The world has been saved and now they can finally live their lives together and rekindle their relationship. Oh and how could i forget the EARRING SWAP!! they're wearing eachother's earrings!!! I've seen quite a few ppl interpreting the exchanging of earrings/jewelry as a marriage custom in the demon realm, implying that Eda and Raine are married in the timeskip. I never cared much for the idea of raeda getting married but you know what? I like this headcanon.

in the last 12 hours, you and ethan had grown very close, despite the more than unusal circumstances; or maybe because of them. both having been thrown into such a crazy situation, with a masked killer on the loose, it made it a little better that you weren’t going through it alone. everyone in the group had someone - tara and sam had eachother, same with chad and mindy. ethan and you were by far the most outcasted from the group, so in a weird way it brought you together.

sam and tara had been attacked by a killer in a ghostface mask at a bodega on the way to the police station last night, confirming that the murder that had happened a few hours before was in fact no coincidence. woodsboro had followed sam and tara and their friends to new york, and by association, you, ethan and everyone else were potential targets as well as potential suspects.

it was now daytime, sam and tara having spent all night at the police station. everyone except danny, sam’s neighbour friend, were sat outside the college campus, listening to mindy go over the rules of a franchise; which is what she determined you were all in at this point. sitting on the bench next to ethan with your legs across his lap, as mindy stood in front of the group.

“listen up nerds. as terrifying as this situation is, i’m actually glad i get the chance i get to redeem myself for not calling the killers last time. now, it seems like the killer is out to make a sequel to the requel,” mindy began.

“um- what’s a requel?” anika asked, raising her hand.

“sweetie, you’re beautiful. let’s hold all questions till the end,” mindy said.

“stab 1 took place in woodsboro…. stab 2 took place in…college,” sam recalled.

“i don’t like this,” ethan shook his head.

“do we think the killer is following the movies?” tara asked.

“it’s possible, and it would make sense if this was a regular sequel. but nobody just makes sequels anymore, we’re in a franchise! and there are certain rules to surviving a franchise!” mindy explained.

“i had a feeling,” sam sighed.

“everything has to be bigger than last time. forget about the legacy characters; canon fodder at this point. only brought back to be killed of in a cheap bit for nostalgia bit. it’s all about doing something different to keep people coming back: longer chase scenes, higher body count. if the killers last time were whiney, snowflake film nerds with letterboxd accounts instead of personalities, you can expect it to be the opposite this time. new city, suspicious new characters added to the friend group to round out the suspect list. and that’s not even the worst part,” mindy went on.

“oh this is where she tells us the worst part,” chad chimes in.

“the thing about franchises is that they’re ongoing episodic storylines… which means that main characters are expendable now too. meaning any of us could bite it at any time… especially sam and tara.”

“wait- am i in the friend group?” ethan asked, and mindy nodded.

“yeah i feel like i don’t really qualify,” you added. “i didn’t even know you guys 2 days ago.”

“this is true. it would seem you just have terrible timing. plus- you are from woodsboro, so that probably counts for something,” chad said, and unfortunately you realized he was probably right.

“but-i’m not like… one of the targets?” ethan asked, to which mindy nodded again and responded with a simple ‘mhm’.

“am i gonna die a virgin?” ethan asked, perhaps not realizing he said it out loud.

“that was a weird overshare.” mindy said, making a face.

“and by the looks of it i don’t think that’s gonna be a problem,” chad teased, gesturing to you and ethan. a blush formed on ethan’s face and you gave chad the finger, although you weren’t really that offended. he returned the gesture with a smile, and you knew he had just been teasing.

“first up; ethan, the shy and dorky guy who no one suspects because he’s so shy and dorky-“ mindy continued her speech.

“watch it,” you threatened, giving her a nasty look.

“why am i on the suspect list? because i’m randomly chads roomate?” ethan asked.

“roomate lotteries can be juked- you could’ve fixed it to get next to us!” she said, turning her attention to you. “and you- clearly you have some unresolved anger issues, and you suspiciously found your way into our friend group the night the killings started. not to mention the fact that you look like you know how to murder someone and get away with it.”

“for the record - i was not exactly trying to join your friend group; no offence.”

“so how did you end up with us last night?” tara asked genuinely.

“we were together at the frat party when you all left,” ethan explained. “we have econ together.”

“together.. at the party?” chad asked suggestively, wiggling his eyebrows, and tara slapped his arm. “sorry.”

“i’m in your film studies class too,” you said to mindy, ignoring chads question.

“interesting. so you also have a connection to the first victim.”

“mindy- i know you’re having your patented monologue moment, but i was at the same party as you when the murder happened. and i was in the apartment with you when sam and tara were attacked- we all were.”

“there’s always more than one killer- which brings us back to ….quinn - the slutty roomate; a horror movie classic.”

“sex positive, and… thank you?” she said, a confused look on her face.

“how exactly did you come to live with sam and tara?”

“i answered their ad online-“

“okay, say no more; you’ve already implicated yourself enough,” mindy interrupted.

“it was an anonymous ad mindy, plus her dad is a cop-“

“and that makes it more likely that she’s the killer becasue having a cop dad is a great cover- do you not remember how these movies work tara?” she yelled. “and finally; anika,” she said gesturing to her girlfriend, who blew a kiss at her, which mindy returned. “never trust the love interest.” her eyes narrowed, and anikas smile dropped.

“okay.. so we have our rules. and we have our suspects.”

“uhh what about you guys?” ethan suggested, referring to the four survivors from last years attacks.

“i think it’s safe to rule out the four of us who went through this last year,” mindy smiled.

“agreed.” chad said, pointing at her.

“well what if it is one of you. i mean what if the trauma from the last killing spree got to be too much and one… or more of you snapped.” quinn suggested.

“or- what if all of the killings made you thirsty for more? i mean to be honest some of the theories online about sam…” ethan started.

“don’t you fucking dare.” tara snapped, and he raised his eyebrows, but didn’t continue his sentence.

“ok let’s just face facts. if we’re all suspects, you’re all suspects.” anika said.

everyone was back at sam and tara’s apartment, except for ethan, who had said he was going to econ. with everything going on you decided not to go, as well you thought better to stay with the group than split up. you had tried to convince ethan to stay as well, but he said his dad would kill him if he didn’t go - he was super uptight about grades and stuff.

sitting on the couch with anika as chad, mindy, tara and sam were in the kitchen, you started to wish you had gone with ethan. what if something happened to him?

“shit,” you muttered under your breath, and anika looked over at you.

“hey… if you’re worried about ethan, i’m sure he’s fine. he’s with a bunch of people in class right?” she smiled. you were thankful for the reassurance, and to her surprise you smiled back.

“you’re right… thank you.”

“you seem cool. i wish we met under better circumstances,” she admitted, and you were a little surprised; she was one on the only people in ethan’s friend group who had been nice to you.

“yeah, me too.”

“so.. you and ethan?” she asked playfully, and you shrugged, looking at your phone awkwardly, secretly hoping he would text to say he was alive or something.

“i don’t know. we made out at the party and then… all this happened.” you said. it had been a crazy 24 hours to say the least. you wondered what you would be doing right now if you hadn’t talked to ethan at the party. “he’s cute though. it’s nice to have a … friend through all this i guess.” you weren’t sure why you were being so open with her, but you couldn’t help but feel a little better after talking about how you were feeling.

“well, i think after all this is over we could be friends. isn’t stuff like this supposed to bring people together?” she said, and you felt your phone buzz in your lap. “is that him?”

“yeah; he’s just checking in,” you answered, before typing a reply to ethan to let him know you were all okay. you typed out “i miss you” but decided against sending it, instead erasing the message and dropping your phone back on your lap. it soon buzzed again, and you picked it up, expecting it to be ethan again.

banging sounds could be heard from quinn’s bedroom, and you assumed it was her and her guest going at it again, until you heard the four voices in the dining room hush and someone mutter a quiet “oh my god.”

looking at your phone, you opened a text from an unknown number to be met with a photo of someone in a ghostface costume holding a bloody quinn, just on the other side of the door. everyone gathered next to you and anika in the living room, and you all stood in silence staring at the door to quinn’s room.

“run,” mindy spoke, and the door swung open, quinn’s body landing on you and anika, knocking you both to the floor. ghostface followed close behind and slashed at mindys arm, as chad and tara ran out of the apartment, leaving you, mindy, anika and sam. pushing quinn’s bloodied body off of the two of you, terror flashed in your eyes as the killer dove towards you, and you sent him backwards with a boot to the chest. he went after anika next, his hands wrapping around her throat and lifting her off the ground, and she squirmed around before he pinned her to the wall and drove his knife into her stomach. she screamed in pain as the killer twisted the knife and dragged it upwards, blood pouring from the wound before you picked up a dining room chair and slammed it over his back. the killer dropped anika to the ground, and you and mindy grabbed her and followed sam into quinn’s room, managing to slam the door just in time. the killer banged against it repeatedly and you turned the lock, leaning against the door as you breathed heavily.

“mindy- bathroom door,“ sam whispered, and mindy hurried to lock door on the other side of the room to the adjacent bathroom, where you heard her exclaim, you assumed at the sight of quinn’s lovers body, considering he was nowhere to be seen. sam followed walked over to the window, and you heard her slide it open as you held your hands against anikas stomach, trying to stop the bleeding.

sam and mindy screamed, the killer having come around to the other side of the door through the bathroom, throwing his body against it and trying to break open the lock. you and anika ran over, and tried to help mindy hold the door closed. after slashing at you with the knife, creating a deep gash in your shoulder blade, the four of you managed to push him out, barricading the door with a dresser. it wouldn’t hold him off for long, and he continued to kick at the door as danny, sams boyfriend next door slid a ladder over the expanse between the two windows for you all to crawl across.

“she’s loosing a lot of blood,” mindy said, referring to anika.

“say something more positive!” she cried in response, as sam started climbing out the window. sam made it across, calling for mindy to come next. you and her were using your weight to hold the dresser in place, trying to keep the killer out of the room with all of your strength.

“someone has to hold the door. y/n you go, i’ll get anika next.” she suggested instead, and you knew mindy just wanted to stay behind to protect her girlfriend. somehow even with everything that was currently happening, your mind flashed to ethan; and you were thankful that he wasn’t here, and that he was somewhere safe. “come on!”

you shrieked as the killer managed to get the door slightly open, and reach his arm through, the silver knife in his hand catching your cheekbone and leaving a long cut behind. mindy still leaning all of her weight against the dresser nodded at you to go, and you made your way to the window, grabbing hold of the ladder. sam and danny were holding it steady on the other side, and all you could think was

you crawled across the cold ladder over the alleyway below; which was surely a 30 foot drop if not further. you made it across and danny pulled you into the apartment, as sam called for anika to come next. her and mindy went back and forth on who should go across first, and anika promised to be right behind mindy. pressing a tearful kiss to her shaking girlfriends lips, mindy started her crawl across the ladder as you all held the ladder steady from the other side.

you watched as the dresser continued to shake from the killer kicking the door to get in, and anika cried that she couldn’t do it as she approached the window, her trembling hands gripping the ladder with blood covered fingers. she was bleeding badly from her stomach, but with reassurance from mindy and sam, she got onto the ladder and slowly started moving across it. she was about a third of the way across, and the four of you in danny’s apartment watched with wide eyes as the killer broke into the room with no one’s weight holding the dresser.

“what?” anika asked, noticing that all of you had gone silent.

“anika you need to move right now!” mindy and sam yelled, urging her to continue across the ladder. she looked back as the killer stabbed the knife into the windowsill, and grabbed hold of the ladder. anika screamed and held on for dear life as he began to shake the ladder up and down, and then from side to side; attempting to throw her off of it.

the four of you tried desperately to hold it steady, mindy in hysterics. begging the terrified to hurry across the ladder. she managed to move slightly forward and was almost close enough to reach sams outstretched hand, as she called for her to take it. the ladder shook hard as she tried to grab hold of sams hand, and the killer twisted it to side, causing anika to fall screaming to the ground below, her head slamming into the open dumpster below. mindy balled next to you, and you all stared across the alleyway at the killer, as he picked up the knife and walked out of view.

"As usual, thank you for listening to the podcast", you began closing off the recording for you newest episode of your podcast, taking your headphones off once you were done and your editor gave you her thumbs up, "That was really good, Y/N. I think people will enjoy it a lot", she said as you smiled, proud of how far you got. The idea of creating your own podcast while you finished your degree was just something to keep your mind off of school, despite it being about what you studied since it was something you enjoyed, but it had quickly grown to join other people who, like you, enjoyed the topic. You had gathered a small community that you were very grateful for, especially when it allowed to go to bigger events like TedTalks and sit and talk, as well as meeting them.

Checking your phone for your e-mails, you noticed a new one from someone you had never received anything from before, "what is this...?", you muttered under your breath before letting your finger tap the screen to open it, revealing what looked like an invite to an event, looking at the top to see that you had been sent it a few days ago and, scrolling down, finding out that you had to confirm your attendance until that afternoon, "did you get this?", you showed it to your editor, "nope, but I've heard of other people who come here to record that they've been invited too", she smiled. "Are you plann-", she was interrupted by the sound of your phone ringing, an unknown number calling, "yes?", you said, "Hi, this is from Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. How have you been, Y/N?", a seemingly kind man on the other side of the line, "Hello, I've been good, and you?", you said as you looked at your editor, "sorry to bother you during the day, but we've had some issues with our communication channels and are not receiving the confirmation from the people who are attending, and we just wanted to confirm wether or not you are joining us for the evening", he said as you panicked opened the e-mail again, checking for more details about this event, "Oh, you're also allowed a plus one, I don't think your e-mail said that due to the glitch we had", he offered as you looked at your editor one last time, her showing you a dinner she had with family on that night, "yes, I can confirm my presence. Just me, no plus one", you said as you heard him type, "Good, thank you! Since our communication channels are not working properly, is it okay if, in case of any new information, I contact you through here?", he asked before you confirmed, bidding eachother a good day and goodbye before ending the call, "this is a very surreal thing", you heard your editor said, now propped by your laptop as she look at the e-mail, telling you all about why they had decided to invite you, your contribution to spreading scientific knowledge in a simple way and accessible to everyone bring the number one reason, "who knew, hm? My weird little podcast about academia getting me t-, oh, wait, this is a red carpet?", you looked further, noticing their dress code advice section, "what did you expect from the Fondation? Some burgers and fries?", she teased you, "I thought it was, like, an intimate thing, small thing. If I'm going to this, who else is?", you mused while your editor only snickered.

After having your friend help you pick a dress worthy of the event, you dropped it at the dry cleaners, which is where you found yourself in the morning of the event, ready to pick it up while the lovely lady went to get it outback when a younger employee asked "I'm sorry, but you are Y/N, from the podcast, right?", she asked as you nodded, "I've heard your voice through these so many times I recognised it almost immediately", she said as she pointed to her earbuds, "I'm very happy that you listen to it", you said as you noticed your dress, clean and ironed being set on the counter, "may I ask what this is for?", she said curiously before who you figured was her grandmother set the bill for you too, "dear, that's not nice for the costumers, sorry about my granddaughter", she half scolded her, "no, don't worry. I'm going to an event tonight because of the podcast", you explained as you paid, smiling before leaving the store and bidding goodbye.

Arriving at home, you tried your best to remember and replicate how Pascale taught you to do your hair, the curls coming out looking like you were from a different era, silently praying they would drop while you fid your makeup. You put one the dress and added your accessories before shaking your curls, moving to put on your shoes and coat just in time for the car they had sent to pick you up and go to the event, "is this your first time?", the driver asked, "yes. Do you notice it that much?", you giggled, "not at all. Just I know I would have recognised you otherwise", he explained, "do you know anyone who is going to be there? It is a big help, so I've heard over the years", he offered, "I don't think so", you mused, "I'm not sure who's invited to be honest", you giggled again, nervous that you should have done your research, "usually actresses and actors, singers too usually, people from non profits, other members of TV shows. Oh, and how could I forget, some drivers usually go too", and it hit you. How did it not hit you before? Charles could be there too, and you not seen him in person in the longest time. Last time you saw him was a few months after you broke up, and it pained you to be in the same room as him, and while you did nothing but be polite to eachother, you couldn't deal with that, somehow always managing to avoid any gathering where he would be. Did you watch his races? Yes, every weekend one had been on you'd take your time no watch it, never breaking your promise and supporting him whenever you could, however you could. Knowing how it would bother you stayed out of anything related to his personal life, only knowing little bits you picked up from interviews and, since he was pretty private, there hadn't been anything related to his relationships, so were you about to know something more? Was he bringing a plus one with him? "Don't need to get nervous, dear, from all my years of this, people are usually very friendly and before you know it, you're already friends", he smiled sweetly, oblivious to the actual relationship you were worried about.

A woman dressed in black guided you on what to to once you arrived, telling you when to stop and pose for some pictures, despite your insistence that 'I'm here for my voice, I don't think people will need to see my face really", giggling and comforting you until you felt comfortable enough, "See?! Stunning, chérie", she smiled before her phone beeped, prompting her to tell her colleague, "Charles is arriving just now, could you go to him, please?", before helping you to the other spot where you would do an interview with someone who also had a podcast that, despite being a bigger creator, treated you with the utmost kindness, "thank you so much for taking some time and giving us your story on getting to where you are today", he said as you shook his hand one last time, thanking him before walking back to the carpet, spotting Charles posing too. And then your heart started doing somersaults, almost like it never stopped doing then anyway.

Charles followed the woman in a black suit as she told him where to stand, smiling in almost all the directions someone called him from before he noticed you, sitting in a high chair with a pair of headphones on your head. Were you here? Your podcast was successful, he knew that much since he contributed, but he did not expect you to be here. How long had it been? Two, maybe three years? You had managed to go to his F2 celebration, just as friends, before, as he now recalled, never setting his eyes on you in another form other than pictures on Instagram or your voice from the podcast episodes.

He was about to head to you when a young fan, who happened to be attending with his parents, asked for his autograph and a picture, "whenever we are home, me and mama and papa watch all your races, you're one of Monaco's pride!", the boy who was no older than ten said excitedly, prompting Charles to open his blazer's button before crouching down to pose with him. Getting up and wishing everyone a good night and event, his eyes looked for you in your emerald green dress, now finding a gentleman in the chair you were sitting previously. Heading inside the venue, he greeted some people before he noticed you looking at something on your phone and confirming it on the indicating plaques, looking a but confused before you looked around and your eyes locked in his, "h- Hi, Charles, Hi!", you said as you greeted him, your movement so automatic that you didn't even think about hugging and pressing a kiss on each cheek of your ex-boyfriend, thankful that he seemed to want to do the same, "Hi, Y/N, how are you?", he said as he looked at you properly. And you looked even more beautiful, despite looking like the same girl he had fallen in love with all those years ago."Are you here alone, too?", you said and immediately wanted to take it back, feeling like you had nothing to do with it, "I'm on my own, yes. C'mon, let's go through here", he said as he guided you on the other way you were thinking of going, leading you to the big room where all the tables were and finding out that the table you'd be sitting in was next to his, "if you need anything, call for me, yes?", he said as he looked for reassurance, "you're going to do great, I just know it".

The evening was beautiful, getting the opportunity to listen to all the projects and ideas people were developing and over all having a good time, and while you enjoyed it, you needed to get some air, excusing yourself from the group and heading to one of the outside gardens, a glass in hand as you took in all that had happened for you to get here. You had never dreamt of this opportunity to come from something as simple as you sharing your thoughts outloud, finding people on the receiving end interested in what you had to say, and to be here was something you still couldn't make out, "may I?", you heard a familiar voice you could recognise anywhere, seeing Charles coming to sit next to you on the stone bench, "it's amazing how many inspiring people are here today, no?", he began, really not knowing how to approach you. You were here alone, so it wasn't like he was crossing a line, he hoped, remembering some conversations he heard in the last group gathering where one of your close friends admitted that you were single still, "and somehow I ended up here, too", you mused before looking at him, his eyes never failing to calm you down and rile your heart up at the same time, "of course you did. Your work is amazing, it's only fair they recognised it", he let slip, "how do you know that?", you quirked your brow as you took a sip from your glass, "I listen to it. Every Thursday I go and look for the new episode", he admitted, "I still don't understand half of the things you defend and explain, but you make it so engaging and, and I miss your voice. I miss you", he said as he looked up at the starry sky before he let his hand crawl along the light stone and nudge yours, your pinkies lacing eachother. "I love you so much", Charles said as he held your hands in his, "I love you so much and it is why I think we should do this", he reasoned, although the tears in his eyes, matching your own, reflected the genuine hurt you both knew was dawning on each of you, "I never want to be the one making you hurt, not in a short time or not in a long time", you sniffed, squeezing your eyes further to slow down the tears, "I love you with my whole heart and I'd never want you to hurt, either of us to hurt", you finished as you gave him one last hug, relishing in the feeling of having his arms around you, "you'll always have my heart, Y/N Y/L/N", he said kissing the top of your head, "and it will always be yours to keep".

"Was it really though?", he said, snuffling closer to you while still not touching you more than before even though his skin longed to feel yours, "I don't know, Charles, I really don't know", you said. You didn't like to admit it, but every now and again, you would entertain the thought of what could have been if you had stayed together. How your days could have been if you had him to come home to, or having to travel to races to see him, hear his laughs in person instead of through a screen. It would have been like you had predicted, crazy schedules, long periods away from eachother, but the effort to make it work would have been worth it to have him with you. As you were about to say that to him, you heard heels clicking on the floor, "sorry to interrupt, but the fireworks are going to go off now, I thought you might like to see them", one of the ladies that had helped you in the red carpet said as you both got up, "thanks for letting us know, we'll be up shortly", Charles offered before she walked away while you two followed her, "Would you be willing to come to my place tomorrow?", he asked as he finally laced his fingers in yours for a few seconds, parting when you reached the door, "okay", you said before you were ushered to different places in the crowd.

Arriving home later that evening, you were taking all your makeup off when your phone pinged, seeing a text from Charles, surprised that after all these years he, like you, had kept your number, "Even though we did not spend that much time together today, I know for a fact that I missed having you around and being near you. I hope you have a goodnight's rest", could be read on your screen.

Thank you for agreeing to come and talk", he said before taking a big breath, "yesterday sparked something in me, and I'm not sure it was a spark again moment, I think this has always been here", he admitted, looking qt you in the hopes of getting you to speak about your take on it, "I-, I felt the same", you gulped, "but can we do this? I think so b-", you were interrupted by him, "all those years ago, we said we wanted to focus on our careers, grow and not have to worry about it. And, while I think it could've been good, there's no way to know that the success we have it due to that. Can you imagine having me next to you on your graduation? Signing your contracts? Because every weekend I imagine you sitting in that hospitality, working on your laptop before coming to watch me race and congratulate me, or be the only person in my driver's room to calm me down after a bad race", he admitted, "I know you don't owe me any of that and if this is one sided then I don't want to make you feel guilty about it, but I needed to let you know", he finished as he looked at you. Sighing, you launched your hand to meet his, "I miss you, and I want to have you with me, to get home and see you there, even if it is only every now and then. But I don't want you to feel guilty that you're not here, or that I feel like I'm not enough", you said and he giggled, "Mon ange, you are more than enough. And I'll be the luckiest man alive if you let me have you in my life again. The chances of this being accurate are low, but never zero, so here's my take on how the relationship between Eddie and Marisol could go:

7x05: Eddie and Marisol starting over because they don't know anything about eachother, their relationship based only on sexual interactions (which still baffles me bc what is this version of Eddie???? It's like he was unable to focus on anything else beside how pent up he was because he wasn't getting any????) and don't even get me started on her moving in and out in the span of a few days without involving Chris in any capacity. They could've showed them being unable to share stuff about their personal lives without this whole living together fiasco. What were the writers thinking coming up with this storyline? Truly the most bizarre thing to happen in season 7, next to Marisol being a nun (although if it was a plot device to kick start Eddie's journey with catholic guilt I will allow it).

7x06: I honestly don't think we will see Marisol at all. First of all, the actress hasn't posted anything from set from this time (and we all know she wouldn't pass up the opportunity to show her wedding outfit or another selfie from the trailer with her being the attention seeker that she is). Second of all, there's probably not enough screen time and she's not that important of a character to be included in this whole storyline. Eddie might mention her in passing like he did in 7x04 but I think that's it.

7x07: Now here's when things might get interesting. I want to see them break up, I really do, not only because the actress is shitty but she's basically a nobody this far into the series and I don't see how they could suddenly make us care for her. Tim saying how he didn't know what to do with her tells me enough that she's not sticking around and he's just trying to fix the mess KR left. Let's not forget Tim saying that at least one relationship (bucktommy or eddisol) will have complications. I'll bet my money the couple in question will be Eddie and Marisol. The episode being titled "Ghost of a Second Chance" (which literally means sth has a little chance of succeeding) makes me think we will see Eddie trying to get to know Marisol (but i'm begging, no more sex scenes between them, once is enough, don't do this to us again) and him coming to realization how little he truly likes about her. I would like to see him go "wait, I actually don't want to do this with her, she's not someone who i want to be with". I think it's too soon for him to see how uncomfortable relationships with women make him and why he always feels like "he has to perform" but it would be a pleasant surprise if they did actually dive into it already. I don't know what exactly could trigger him to break up with Marisol (and I think it will be Eddie who puts an end into this relationship based on the ending of the last episode) but it would be nice if we got some kind of parallel to his breakup with Ana and the "I thought it would work". Since Ryan said in one of his interviews that Eddie has enough on his plate this season, I don't think he will have any kind of feelings realization regarding Buck in 7x07, but if this storyline further explores his repression then count me in, I'm getting my snacks and my drinks and I'm seated.

so to whoever wants to read this shit i think wendy doesnt work with anyone else besides stan. if you say "kyle can treat her better!" first of all stfu u kyndy shippers are annoying asf and second of all no he would not. he would clearly get jealous of other guys and he would be really controlling (not in earlier seasons) and lets just be fr for a sec... wendy would either fall out of love or get back with stan again because yknow they always go back to eachother. and plus an arguement between wendy and kyle would be ugly especially if theyre together, they both can get mad asf and the arguement would last ATLEAST a few days. and atleast stan can handle her disagreeing and yelling at him. now lets see who else shes paired with. i wanna talk abt wendy and token. first of all i dont believe wendy ever loved token because we never see theyre relationship outside of raisins. what i believe is that wendy only dated token to try and get stans attention because he did neglect the relationship and maybe she was attention-hungry. and now the final one i wanna talk to about is cartman. i hate wendy x cartman (more than i hate kyndy) because we know it would never work. she even said that she lost all feelings towards cartman after chef goes nanners. and even if you argue and say that they had good chemestry in that episode let me remind you that she ran back to stan at the end of the episode. she clearly hates cartman and clearly would rather killherself than date cartman. i dont think cartman deserves to be with anyone (except maybe yentl) because he's pretty much unlovable.

now onto stan, i dont think he works with anyone but wendy. lets take a look at style. first of all kyle has left stan several times before. he left him for token and he also never helped him with his depression in your getting old. but guess who was there to cheer him up? wendy was. wendy was one of the only people that didnt get sick of him in that episode and it really shows how much she cares for stan. and in you have 0 friends even though wendy was kinda being... weird, stan did listen to her and tried to edit his settings on his facebook.

also i wanna talk abt stendy as a relationship. i think that they might be able to work as friends but as partners is when theyre dynamic works best. girlboss and loser bf. in all honesty stan and wendy might have the best dynamic/healthiest relationship out of everyone. theyve been shown to care about eachother lots of times and in the older seasons was when they really had their cutest moments. modern stendy isnt bad either, wendy is able to forgive stan at the end of the chat gpt episode because she loves him. and stan really cares for wendy too. he went with wendy to see shitty movies just to spend time with her and he also wrote a song for her. stendy is my absolute favorite ship and i hate when ppl make them cheat on eachother. stan would never and wendy wouldnt either. and one thing i noticed is that stan is loyal to wendy, sure he may have had a few crushes on other girls but, he never actually tried to make a move on any of them (except ms ellen) but through out all their break ups, stan never dating anyone besides wendy, which shows he really does love her enough to the point where he would hit on anyone while she was gone

theres 3 main people i wanted to pair stan with. heidi, bebe, and red. first i want to talk abt is red and stan. i feel like they would be more friends than lovers. we dont really see much of reds personality but we do know that she acts like the other girls. stan doesnt really interact with girls that much so we dont really see a certain dynamic between them. another girl i want to talk abt is bebe. bebe is an interstening character, she can be nice, outgoing and funny but she can switch up to be sassy and rude. stan and bebe are like the listeners/jocks of their groups. they both have their hobbys that go on the field (stan plays football and bebe is a cheerleader). i feel like stan and bebe would be besties shit talking everybody. and lastly i want to move onto heidi. i feel like they could work as an alternate incase stan and wendy have a permenant break up (lets be honest thats never happening). i feel like heidi likes/ is fond of stan. she went up to him for advice abt cartman and he's probably the one that knows cartman the least. and in the bracelets episode he asked her for glue which i find funny. and i feel like their love of animals would help them bond.

Rottmnt Headcanons!! (2)

Leo listens to girl in red because April once forced him to and he fell in love with all the songs. When hanging out, they put girl in red in the background.

Raph has a lot of plushies from his childhood. He doesn't play with them anymore, but they're still they're and he would never give them up (haha just like me fr!!)

There was this one time where the turtles wanted pizza and instead of just ordering like any normal person they crashed a stranger's kitchen and stole every pizza related thing. It's still an unsolved crime.

Donnie always had problem with touching, but it got a lot worse after the movie. Now he doesn't let anyone hug him, slap him or anything. Especially on his shell. He feels bad for flinching when people try to hug him. The others tell him that they don't mind and they get it. He's really grateful for that.

When they were younger, Splinter got these really depressing episodes where he couldn't even get out of bed. Raph was the one to take care of them when this happened. The worst ones could last weeks.

Splinter didn't want to get attached to the turtles, so he tried to be as distant as possible whole still being a good caretaker. Also, he gave them as much freedom as possible because of how he didn't have any growing up, but since he never wanted to be with his grandfather he didn't think they would want to be with him. Which is why he was so surprised when four little children came into his room crying because he wouldn't play with them.

After explaining the whole future thing to Casey, she ran into the Lair, deciding to test her son. He passed immediately.

The twins have their own version of the Lair Games which they play everyday to decide who's the oldest. It can change from rock papper scissors to a fight to the death (Raph always stops them before they actually do anything).

The boys chose their own names. Splinter was reading them a book, and Donnie mentioned the fact that they don't have actual names, just weird color nicknames. So, Splinter tells them to find a name they like and make it their own. They decided to go by the names they have now because they wanted to match.

They all love Brooklyn 99 because I love Brooklyn 99.

Everytime they talk about “the family”, they include April, because she's their sister.

There was this one time where April didn't have anyone to go to the school dance with so Leo joined the school a few months before and went with her using Sunita's cloaking brooch (he had to fight Donnie because he also wanted to go to school).

Mikey tried to give Big Mama a redemption arc like he did with Draxum, but he didn't manage to fully do it so they now visit eachother once a week while still fighting whenever they're on duty.

The Krang is basically the only thing Leo won't joke about. They found out when Donnie said that “the last fun thing I did was two months ago and it was becoming a fucking Krang spaceship” and Leo stared at him for the next ten minutes.

Whenever Mikey or Leo go quiet, Raph is alone and Donnie is handling dangerous weapons without adult supervision it's because something is going down.

April is the only one who has a normal sleep schedule because her mom won't let her stay awake too late.

Mayhem thinks the family is stupid, but he loves them anyway. Sometimes.

Raph screamed when Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago kissed and everyone else worried.

Leo and Raph are basically the scene where Jake says “if I run at Terry he'll most likely catch me in his arms”. Raph would catch anyone else, but it's only Leo the one who throws himself at him.

April goes to the Lair almost everyday and complains about school with any of the boys. They always listen to her rants.

Leo figured out that he had adhd when April told him that she thought he had it. He never got the chance to get an actual diagnosis so he felt like he wasn't even if the sings were all there and he could see them.

Sunita found everyone a therapist at the Hidden City. Her name's Charlie and they all like her.

Donnie likes to threaten people he doesn't like. He also threatens Leo, but he doesn't actually mean them.

Because of being in contact with eachother when they were mutated, the turtles have traits of the other's species. That's why Donnie can go into his shell, why he has purple marks, why Raph's isn't as spiny as he should be, why their colors are different from the original species, etc.

Red eared sliders comunicate with vibrations, so Leo does this really low vibration thing when he feels happy, pleased or just when he's in a good mood that April calls purring no matter how much he complains about it.

choni truly has the best relationship arc this season, and I love how even though this memoryless version of them is a redo of their relationship, their story is about them falling for eachother again showing us their true feelings -especially in toni's case- while avoiding past mistakes. I wish we could have seen them as adults together but idk there is something so special with them this season that makes their story feel full circle

no, exactly. like, i always understood the potential of the 50s for choni, thinking they'd fall in love again and toni would be unable to fall out of love when they got back to the present and she'd have to confront the feelings for her she's been trying to ignore, but was annoyed at the possibility of them being there past midseason because i REALLY wanted to see choni together as adults for a solid handful of episodes. but once it became clear we were staying there for much longer, i accepted it, and now i love it. i do wish we could have a few episodes in the present, but alas. by now it's too late, and even if they did get back a couple eps sooner than 19 (which is when i expect it), they'd probably drag the reunion out until the finale at that point anyway.

but when you think about it, not only are we getting a redo of their early story and seeing the writers fix their mistakes, but it really adds such an extra layer of depth to their relationship and story that a simple straight forward reunion in the present wouldn't. like, yeah, i would love to hear present toni tell cheryl that she never stopped loving her and it was always her, but this storyline PROVES it, you know? she fell for cheryl in that very first episode and hasn't stopped, and not only has she not looked twice at fangs, but she hasn't shown interest in a single other person, in a season where all the other characters have been playing musical partners and feeling drawn to people they've had feelings for at some point. that says SO much, about both choni and t*ngs, it proves that toni never stopped loving cheryl and that she never loved fangs (and fangs never loved her), that without anthony's existence, they would have never even thought about it. which anyone with a brain already knew, but again, this is such a good way to prove it, both to the audience and the characters.

i also think that the way it's being written works well as a reunion arc substitution, the way they're giving them similar issues and dynamic so they can do it right. it gives them a chance to show to the audience how their relationship would work better the second time around, with their characters more grown and mature; not only are the writers not making the same mistakes with them again, the characters aren't making them either. like, their communication this last episode was amazing, especially compared to the mess in 3b, which will be important for adult choni when they get back together.

also, given what tabitha said in the present, i really do think they'll end up getting back to a present that's different than the one we left, and there's a decent chance some things regarding fangs and anthony might be rewritten, like if midge ends up being alive in the present (which i have to assume will be the case, because surely they aren't gonna have fangs lose a wife, fiancee and kid all at the same time lmao), which count me in! but if that's the case, i would like them to get their memories back in the 50s and have toni end things with him and tell cheryl it was always her, so i can have the best of all worlds.

lastly, it's just so nice to finally be the shipper group most satisfied. for once, we've finally got it the best and have the best storyline, with the most care being put into it. i waited years for this moment!

When I say this would be an info dump, it will be an info dump.

Tldr: Lusabitch becomes besties with SpongeBob, cools tf down, diverge more, gets angsted by the paracosm's lore, all because of this one comic I found in kym.

The bitch has been through a lot. She's been around since day one of Screen Universe and even some time before that. She's one of the late comers to the previous paracosm and got carried over to Screen Universe during the transition.

Funny enough, I despise the bitch's canon self and still do. But her daydream counterpart diverge almost beyond recognition that I can't see her the same way anymore. You could say she became a fully grown para along side with SpongeBob and a few others.

Speaking of SpongeBob, my man is the one who started her development and divergence as a para! If it wasn't for him, idk what I could have done to her instead. Bro thought it was a good idea to befriend one of the most fucked up characters in the Pokémon franchise, ran with it, and actually ended up being iconic doing it. Not Lillie, not even Archie (even though he really should have). Nope, it's the Bitch™ he formed a bond with.

Imagine, your imaginary/daydream childhood best friend befriending a character you hate, and you ended up watching where it's heading until it's too late. By until it's too late, I mean ended up supporting their dynamic while being conflicted about it because of who the two people are involved in the said friendship. It's very much like that.

Although, I'm not really sure who even initiated the befriending. For all we know, it could have been mutual.

So how did that happen? It all started with encountering this joke comic on Know Your Meme of Lusamine recreating a SpongeBob episode where he attempted living with the jellyfish. I ran into it on Facebook when I was younger and the full title didn't load. It just stopped at the part that implied the Bitch being in a SpongeBob episode doing something, but it didn't say what. So my younger self was like "w h a t" and daydreamed of the two interacting more than usual. This is prior to Screen Universe. Back then, when she joined, she was just like her canon self, and Spunch was kinda diverging while being mostly in character. So they'd fight (mainly in the trophy room and Ultra Space, but it can be anywhere else) and be after each others' necks. She even froze him one time and he only escaped because plot armour.

When I finally read the full title and comic, that's where shit hit the fan and started the bond in motion. They didn't become besties over night, it had a rocky start because of how I see both characters at the time (love one, but hate the other). Their interactions and scenarios evolved over time. With shit like soulmate AUs, fights, and the copyright jokes to name a few. The memes involving Lus being portrayed as SpongeBob (either with a scene or as SpongeBob himself) definitely spiked the development of their relationship. I think they started to mellow down with eachother towards the end of the previous paracosm, and the transition between both daydream eras.

What really cemented their fate as a pair was drawing this fan art of the two riding on eachother's jellyfish forms back in 2019. A handful of people on the Pokémon Amino liked it and even commented on it. This was when Screen Universe was still pretty new and these two are still actually warming up to each other after like one to two years of fighting and bickering. They just eventually agreed Jellyfishes are neat and they should bond over their enthusiasm for them. There was another fan art I made with the two before that, but that didn't gain much attraction iirc.

Over the course of the paracosm's development, their bond grew and grew until we're where we are now. There had been some rough edges here and there like when they were starting out in Screen Universe's fresh beginnings, Lus was still pretty malicious even for SpongeBob's detriment. And there was an phase back in 2021-early 2022 where Sponge didn't treat her too well (saw her as a weapon for ends to meet), but eventually cut that shit out. But there's some fluff too, like when they had tea together, gush about jellyfishes, and spar.

My impromptu thoughts on rise of the pink ladies ep 8 bcs I'm obsessed rn

Okay but why did grease rise of the pink ladies decided to make me cry multiple times tonight???

Esp that scene with Cynthia and Shy guy like it took just a second to hit me but when it did it hit hard. Not only did that internalised homophobia strike a nerve but like,, the way all the pieces came together and the ball dropped I genuinely just said "Oh" at my tv.

I think it especially applies to Naomi who cares little about Rebecca's happiness instead her own needs or her needs to project the life she wanted onto her daughter. The song is fastpaced and the lyrics change topic constantly to show how exhausting it can be to deal with Naomi. It's like running a fast race. Interesting the one slow part of the song (other than the break where Rebecca physically and lyrically gets to breath) is when Rebecca finally snaps and shouts, this part is slower and goes on for longer as (as Rebecca says) Naomi does anything to rub stuff in her face

So he buys a hot air balloon, and wears a rainbow tie because he's desperate to impress her similar to how Rebecca was desperate to impress Naomi. This song focuses on the one fact that there's no bathroom on the balloon and thst he'll have to break it to her. I think it's Greg's nervous mind worried thst she's gonna hate it.

Thanksgiving Rebecca did everything to impress Josh and his family. She leaned the language a bit and cooked the food and she was actually impressing them (as for some reason they care about smarts even tho josh has 1 brain cell) valencia had been failing to impress them the entire time and thst caused strain between val and josh which was a win for rebecca as she could impress more. However then she got sick due to the food and ran to the bathroom where she had to sit for ages watching Val and Josh do it. In the end they please and impress eachother so much that they move in together, and Rebecca saw all this from the bathroom, where she started associating toilets with heartbreak

The club incident happens after Rebecca tries to impress the 2 people who she cares most about in her life. Paula and Josh. Paula was mad at her due to a whole pregnancy incident and the fact thst Rebecca doesn't really,,, listen to people and often talks over them with her problems. So Rebecca babysits Tommy to get back Paulas friendship. However she gets tangled up because Josh is sick and she's trying to impress him by buying him soup, who he thinks is from his girlfriend. So when Rebecca goes to the club to tell him, and brings Tommy eith her Tommy gets lost and she looks for him with Heather. The two get stuck in the bathroom and watch Josh and Anna special hug/ref. Which they do because Josh is so impressed by Anna and Anna assumes she's gonna be impressed with Josh because he builds up this thing. So once again like Thanksgiving despite Rebecca's countless attempts to impress people, she fails in both ways and instead watches someone get pleased by Josh because of her work.Last episode we see the return of the dream ghost. Rebecca fell asleep on the toilet after drinking Joshs weird juice and is now dreaming about what she's supposed to do with her life. She has to choose between the three men who have been trying to impress her and OK I REALISE I SHOULDVE DONE THIS ONE LAST but she isn't impressed with herself- which she sees in her dreams because no matter what she's unhappy and depressed about her lifeThe the headphone incident is (spoiler( after rebeccas sui attempt her three friends stayed eith her the entire time and even slept outside her room to make sure she was OK. then she goes into a bathroom eith headphones and they all assume in a panic thst she committed suicide with Vals nail clippers. I wanna do a character study on val and this episode is important for it. Basically when she comes out Heather and Paula are like "we were so worried" but Valencias full on sobbing. The whole episode Val had been seen as a sort of performative activist about the whole situation but (I ACTUALLY DID AN ANALYSIS ON THIS SONG LIKE AGES AGO) as seen in this is my movement she does think this is for the best. She just wanted Rebecca, her first female friend to be ok. Val cares for Rebecca so much , in the episode...prior??? 2 episodes before maybe she tries to act like she didn't care. When they were searching she says "she's lucky she's cray because my earrings would've been the first thing to come out" insinuating she was gonna hit her. But would she actually?'- OK gotta stop. myself I was gonna delve into Vals character whoops. Uhm point is they're hard to make Rebecca happy and safe thst they become iverbearing and wantto follow her into the bathroom now the portapotty incident. this is at the taco festival in season 1 episode 4 and its at Greg and Rebecca's date. So Rebecca is trying to convince herself to stay with Greg, to settle for him. (I should've done this before the others( and honestly he's not that impressive at the date (hence the settle for me thing( but he doesn't need to be. They get along well and it's going well and it goes bad for completely unrelated reasons. Rather than be in clean bathroom this time Rebecca's in a portapotty and sings into the mirror (they literally recorded this live in the portapotty as "You can't fake a portapotty noise"-Rachel Bloom)

walking through the airport rn but BASICALLY!! how could I gorget the song Paula's stuck in the bathroom. Context is that Rebecca started being friends with Heather and Val so Paula and Rebecca started drifting and in response Rebecca triest o force a friendship. Then everything crumbles down metaphorically and physically and then Paula is stuck in the bathroom. OK DONE WALKING. Once again Rebecca was desperate to impress someone and this time it harmed them, it causes a big fight.in conclusion in cxgtoilets are a metaphor for wanting to impress someone

It's been a while, huh?

Sorry for barley posting anything- I've been extremely busy and taking some time for myself. I don't have time to be on social media alot and all-- I know I said I would be posting art- but we'll leave that to later on. (I've been suffering with art block)

I've watched the new episode teaser/trailer for the owl house season 3 finale and I am SO hype for it. (IM NOT READY FOR IT- ITS LITERALLY THE LAST EPISODE- GUYS IM CRYING HELP)

I'm not much of a theory person but I have seen some great ones being said on this platform.

But others- not so great.

Some of these theories have bothered me a bit- and I kinda wanna give MY views about it-

I'm extremely sorry for starting on with a bad note but most of the things I wanna say I've been wanting to let it out of my chest for a while.

Now, when I say my opinions about what I'm about to discuss, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME. These are MY opinions that perhaps a few people may or may not agree with. This is also not gonna be about one episode- it's more likely discussing more about all of the Episodes on season 3. Also- no HATE I'm not much of a person who can explain things properly- I'm not trying to offend anybody and if I do- I'm incredibly sorry!!!

Now, let's start with the first topic.

Hunter stans

Okay, now- I'm not talking about ALL of the Hunter stans- and there's nothing wrong with liking Hunter at all!! I think Hunter is an extremely amazing character for some people to relate to, and lemme just say, IM SO HAPPY HE STOOD UP FOR HIMSELF AGAINST BELOS- OUR BOY IS GETTING BRAVER EVERY DAY- WE LOVE TO SEE IT!!

But one thing that bugs me is the fact that SOME Hunter stans sort of-- make Hunter's trauma and character in general the main thing- or the big spotlight of the show (if that makes any sense at all)

Hunter isn't the only one with trauma- and I really think people should start appreciating other characters other than Hunter.

IM NOT ASKING FOR YOU TO STOP LIKING HUNTER I'M JUST TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT HUNTER ISN'T THE ONLY CHARACTER OF THE SHOW AND THAT WE BRING ALL CHARACTERS SOME SPOTLIGHT OTHER THAN HUNTER ALL THE TIME.

Point is, yes, Hunter has trauma, yes we should give the boy love but ALSO YES the other characters ALSO have trauma and YES we should give them love.

It's ALWAYS ` Hunter this ` ` Hunter that ` `Hunter experienced this `.

It just sort of- annoys me.

Huntlow shippers

Okayyyy-- this topic-

I have- NO HATE to the ship.

I think it's pretty cool how they adorably care for eachother and you can totally ship them! And it's totally valid!!

I only see them as incredibly cute besties with incredibly cute platonic feelings for eachother and I think that's pretty valid too.

The problem isn't the ship- it's more of some of the shippers that are the problem.

Key word: SOME!! NOT EVERY PERSON WHO SHIPS IT!!

The problem is that they PUSH the ship onto people who DON'T ship it.

Take this as an example: Let's say you met somebody who shipped Hunter and Willow together and you didn't-

You probably ship maybe- Edric and Hunter or Skara and Willow or Boscha and Willow or any other ship-

Or maybe you just headcannon them both as AroAce ( WHICH IS ALSO VALID TOO)

Because you ship something OTHER than Huntlow- they're gonna start throwing at you a ` OH BUT HUNTLOW IS CANON ` or ` HUNTLOW IS BETTER ` ` THOSE TWO HAVEN'T EVEN HAD A PROPER INTERACTION- SHIP HUNTLOW ` or even ` THAT SHIP IS TOO TOXIC `

Obviously you're gonna start feeling bad- or angry. The point of shipping is to ship two or more other characters and just make em all cutesy and lovey dovey- like- let people ship whatever the heck they want! (As long as it's legal-- non-proshipper-wise- I've seen so many proshipper ships that TRAUMATIZED me)

SOME Huntlow shippers have made other shippers who don't ship them feel bad about what they ship. It's hurtful and it just BREAKS the fun on the idea of shipping.

Something else that also makes me upset is the fact that whenever I go see the Willow tag, there's always gonna be Huntlow and barley just any Willow at all.

It sort of just makes it seem like the whole point of Willow's character is to just be with Hunter- IM NOT ACCUSING ANYBODY ON INTENDING TO DO THIS- but all I'm saying is that we need more Willow on her own spotlight- the whole point of her character is to see how much improvement and change she's going through- how much she's getting stronger.

That's one of the points if the show- to see characters develop, change and improve.

Belos/ Philip

Many of you people might be wondering what I'm talking about so lemme just give you a bit of an explanation.

2 days ago, the trailer for Episode 3 of season 3 came out and have us a sneak peak of what's to come for the finale. (GO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T- UNLESS YOU DON'T TO AND YOU JUST WANNA KEEP THE WHOLE THING A SUPRISE WHEN THE WHOLE EPISODE COMES OUT. IN THAT CASE- SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!)

We saw Luz wearing Belos' robes numerous of times throughout the whole trailer and there has been this one theory that has been passing out everywhere.

People are theorising that Luz is going to KILL hunter.

I for one don't think so.

If that was the case, is she going to start consuming palisman?? (Including Stringbean and all of her friends' palismen)???

Does this mean she now has the intention to KILL EVERY WITCHES/DEMON ON THE BOILING ISLES including Eda, King, Hooty and everyone else??

Does this mean she's going to become Belos??

No.

Luz would NEVER kill anybody- yet alone harm them AT ALL.

What some of you are suggesting/describing is not LUZ

Literally, the whole point she's the in the first place was to HELP the boiling isles.

She's not going to kill Hunter. She would NEVER.

Yes, she does compare herself to Belos.

But the only reason why is because she ACCIDENTALLY HELPED BELOS.

Because she helped Belos, he put the thought into her head that they're like eachother. He put the thought into her head that because they're both human, they're the same.

Just because Luz is dressed up and cosplaying as Belos, doesn't mean she IS him.

I think, that Luz is in a DREAM and she's WATCHING what BELOS DID through HIS eyes.

She's probably going to see how Belos killed Caleb and why he did it. She's probably going to see what he's done to the other grimwalkers including hunter.

She's probably going to see things that have ALREADY HAPPENED. Hunter isn't dead.

Boscha

Some of you might know that Boscha is one of my favourite characters.

Not because she's a funny character, but because I believe that characters like her can change. We've seen it many times with other characters from different shows.

For example: Sasha from Amphibia, Pacifica from gravity falls, We've seen Amity change aswell as Matt! We've seen Lilith change, Steve, Hunter!

But I've come to notice that alot of people portray her badly-

I get it, she's done really fucked up things to Willow- and i get that she hasn't really gotten a proper redemption arc- but we can see that she's trying due to the recent episode which was episode 2 on season 3.

Alot of you are saying that Boscha calls Willow half-A-Witch, and although we DO hear her say it on episode 2 on season 3- Alot of you are saying she's the one who STARTED the whole thing-

Amity started it, not Boscha.

I honestly don't think that Boscha's whole intention was to push Willow down and make her feel worse on that one hallway scene in the recent episode. But it was as if she was almost- relating to Willow in a way. It was certainly not a healthy way if doing it- but you get the point.

I think Boscha relates alot to Willow- and maybe she's also a little jealous of Willow.

I think Boscha is misunderstood and it's just trying to get people's approvals in a wrong way.

I can totally see her getting closer and becoming friends with Willow and the Hex-squad if she wasn't acting like such a bitch all the time-

I can see her changing and improving.

She can become a better person.

Another thing is the headband that Boscha has got in her head-

NO SHE DID NOT KILL HER PALISMAN AND USED IT AS A TROPHY- SHE DID IT TO MATCH WITH HER CRAB PALISMAN-

It's honestly cute that she did that- but anyways-

Another and probably one last thing-

The whole thing about Boscha having a crush on Amity.

While it is interesting-

It is a bit of a no for me.

We can see that she's lost almost everything- including her friends (which she obviously cares about)

Because of that- as soon as she saw Amity, she probably thought ` Oh! Amity's somebody I've been close too! Maybe if I fix our friendship- this means I haven't lost EVERYTHING `

She's obviously desperate for a sense of familiarity.

She's desperate for somebody to give her a sense that she's not alone and she hasn't lost everything.

And the way Boscha handled that was really unhealthy- I know.

But the clinginess shows how desperate she is.

I don't think people understand that losing a friend is just as painful as losing a partner.

Getting on your knee(s) can also be a sign of ` please, forgive me `

Although it looked like a proposal- I think the crew was trying to indicate that Boscha is desperate.

What do you think about the realtionship dynamics between Arthur and Merlin?

The relationship is friendship throughout the show, no matter what fandom (myself included) chooses to believe. But, they do love eachother, but whether that is brothers, friends, lovers, or otherwise specified is generally up to interpretation. There is a potential for Arthur to choose not to enter a relationship with Merlin due to his preconceived notions of needing a wife, perpetuated by his father and the court. Maybe it was Merlin ‘rejecting’ a love interest that he couldn’t show his whole self too. Either way, the show doesn’t have them as lovers, so I’m basing this response off friendship generally. 

The two of them are powerful, in their own ways, but Merlin is trapped in his destiny and Arthur might kill him if he knew the truth. [Though it is my belief that Merlin can’t die as evident from the last scene of the series, nevertheless, I doubt Merlin would like to try.] 

Through Season 1 we start the relationship with Arthur showing a trusting and honest visage in believing the word of a servant who he’s just met against that of another knight, and then instantly defying his father (Treasonous to disobey the word of the King) to save said servant. Then, the habit of saving eachother starts to become a normal progression through the episodes. 

But let’s backtrack for a moment, I’m getting ahead of myself. 

The show doesn't start with them as friends. Rather the opposite in fact. The quickest enemies-to-lovers I can think of probably. But, we meet Arthur picking on a servant, acting as a bully until Merlin calls him off with a very... well we know the scene. Iconic. 

Nevertheless, Merlin is quickly tossed in jail. 

Our boy came into Camelot with fists flying not caring who they hit honestly. 

Then, Helen of Mora and the sleep song that knocked everyone out where they stood except for Merlin not even being the slightest affected, and, notably, saving Arthur. This then starts where the friendship grows from, not quickly, likely, as they are still strangers for a long while, but now they're strangers who are relying on eachother. 

Arthur relies on Merlin not to get him killed, trusts him to get his armour done (despite Merlin never having dones such a thing), relies on his food not being poisoned, relies on a lot of little things that probably seem inconsiquential until they don't actually get done and suddenly nothing works (cue a flashforward to the disheveled Arthur trying to find Merlin season 4). 

Episode 7 stands out, when Merlin is, probably literally, sticking his neck out lying to the King at Arthur's request, though bewitched as Arthur probably doesn't care either way. 

"You're not merely a warrior, you're a prince - a future king. You've proved your courage, but you must prove your wisdom" from episode 9, shows Merlin has come to know who Arthur is beneath the exterior of a bully that's slowly fading away, something that Gwen or Morgana comments on at some point though for the life of me I can't remember when. 

The end of Season 1 shows the relationship as strong, Arthur's still somewhat clueless as to who Merlin is (as he really does remain through the entirey of the series), but Merlin and thus the audience, has a pretty good grasp on Arthur. The friendship only grows over the next two seasons. 

Through Season 2, from the limited knowledge Arthur has, when he scolds Merlin, there’s a legitimate reason for it, which is a theme through the season and onwards. Gaius says he’s skiving off work and in the taverns? Merlin’s just gone with no explanation for a few days comes back looking beat up and swaying, easily could have been a tavern brawl and drunkenness rather than bone-tired and potential blood loss. 

However, that first episode with Sigan completely wiped Arthur’s characterization from Season 1. This does fix itself (although this is the season with the wonderful Troll Stepmother whom Arthur wasn’t listening to again), with Aredian, Kilgharrah, and their talks about Gwen, episode 9 with the hunter who captured Freya saying he trusted Merlin (despite instantly after seeing stolen food which he shakes his head at). The trust is still there, it’s just swaying back and forth wildly like a monkey stranded on a vine.

This is evident in the very first episode here with Cedric usurping Merlin's position and subsequentially being possessed by Sigan. However, Arthur in this season is relying on Merlin more, sneaking him out of the castle, sneaking him into the castle, sneaking Merlin out of the castle in the 'wooing' schemes. 

The problem happening in the season in regards to the relationship, is Arthur's belief of courtly values and stations. "She can't be your friend, let alone anything else." He may be saying this to Merlin about Morgana, but he's also referring Gwen to himself, then he'll go and treat Merlin like a friend (that he is), then deny that there is friendship between them (notably Balinor's episode and episode 6's end of not-hug). 

Then not long after denying friendship, episode 6 happens and Arthur doesn't arrest Merlin. The patterns of friendship continue as Arthur regularly breaks laws and orders for Merlin's comfort (Gaius in episode 7 notably). 

We also get an interesting scene of 'acceptance' in episode 9 with the wonderful dress scene in that “As long as you do a decent day's work Merlin, that’s all I care about [...] what a man does in his spare time is completely up to him. [...] The colour suits you, Merlin!” Now, it's unclear what any LGBTQ status characters are dealing with in Merlin as they're not mentioned, but it wouldn't be a stone throw from assuming 'not good' with how much magic can be seen as an allusion for queerness (in Morgana's quote in season 3 specifically, or in the druid scene). This is just a layer of acceptance that Arthur is showing with regards to, from Arthur's perspective, Merlin being a cross-dresser (which probably didn't help when Gwen found him going through jewlery. The King and Queen giving him a nice dress is now suddenly in my head and Merlin just does not know how to decline that). 

Then, a few episodes later we find Balinor we get an annoying "I know I'm a prince, so we can't be friends, but if I wasn't a prince[...] well then, I think we'd probably get on." Arthur sees a status imbalance with him as the problem, that he is a prince. Not that Merlin is a servant. And so we end seaosn 2 with not-quite-equals but unrecognized-verbally-friends. 

Through Season 3 we finally start getting to see more equality between the two show up through the season. Arthur is growing as a person, seeing servants as equals rather than as before when he thought that couldn't be possible. We also get Arthur understanding layers of Merlin somewhat, as evident in episode 2 "There are times, Merlin, when you display a sort of – I don’t know what it is – I want to say...It’s not wisdom. But yes, that’s what it is. Don’t look so pleased the rest of the time you’re a complete idiot" which was in response to Arthur who will one day be a great king. 

Now, this season also introduces the knights (barring Lancelot from season 1 and Leon from season 2), and Arthur is gaining friends that are changing his worldview (in particular Gwaine and his flirtatious nature with Gwen provoking a surge of what one may call protection or jealousy in Arthur). 

At the end of the season, we get the fun 'Cup of Life' debacle in which Arthur trusts only Merlin to aid with the retrieval, and when they sneak back into the castle to meet up with Gwaine and Elyan with Arthur injured, Merlin takes charge making things run smoothly in the escape. Then, finally, the round table of ancient kings, and placing strangers who aided him (Percival), common-born (to-be) knights, and servants (Gwen and Merlin) around the table with him. I think the only actual nobles there were Leon and Gwaine aside from Arthur, which is uite the big step to equality that is a basis behind the Arthurian legend to begin with, something that was missing, but steadily growing, in the first two seasons. 

The very end of season 3 we get the joking scene of cleaning Arthur's boots, put on as an act rather than an order, evident by the joking manner it is said in. This scene also shows the audience a hint of what the future holds for their friendship. 

Now in this season, we also get a wonderful commentary from January 2, 2021, 12:45PM - @Im-an-assbutt, in the "Merlin is Arthur's Mistress" idea. No idea where the idea originated from, and google hates me trying to figure out what "Mistress treatment" actually is, so i'm going to accept this at face value. 

When Season 4 starts, we see Merlin in the role as an advisor, or, partially. He's writing speeches, helping with government things. And instantly the audience can see the dynamic between them as the Dorocha are released and attacking Camelot. 

Now, I know the fainting scene gets lots of backlash from Arthur seemingly rolling his eyes at the display and Lancelot rushing to help, however, as someone who does faint often Old friends just kinda let me lay there while new friends freak out, and strangers on the street unfortunately like to call for assistance. So, to me it never struck me as peculiar to see, but that’s my two cents into that. 

Now, quickly the group goes onto the fun Dorocha quest and we get some fun whump Merlin scenes in which Arthur nearly calls of the quest to save the entire Kingdom because Merlin was injured (by something that no mortal had ever survived but that's probably besides the point I'm sure). Not long after Merlin returns hale, the audeince gets to learn Arthur is deciding to sacrifice himself, refusing to let Merlin do so and even (deleted scene) handing him his mother's sigil, which, at the time, is basically marking Merlin as heir to Camelot, or at the very least, heir to Arthur. Suddenly understandable why this isn't kept in, but whatever, it's true in my heart. 

Now quite quickly after all this, Uther is killed (in Arthur's perspective by Magic), and Arthur blames magic calling it 'pure evil' and something he should never have trusted in to merlin's face, and yet, Arthur leaves the great hall after a night of mourning to find Merlin having been sitting outside all night. The friendship is still there, nonetheless, in fact, that's one of the things Arthur quickly reaffirms "You are a loyal friend, Merlin." 

But, now, Arthur takes the throne, with his uncle Aggravating whispering into his ear false beliefs of worth and general bullshit, and starts pushing people away (episode 5 "stick to what you know" when Merlin tried to talk to him about the issues happening reinforced later by "I don't need anyone. I can't afford that luxury.") And it's a toxic mindset to be sure, but his only rolemodle of a King growing up was a widowed man who was paranoid about everything who was a tyrant to his people and had no true friends... that's a terrible Role Modle, Arthur, please, go read a book about the Roman Empire, preferably not Nero or Caligula. 

Anyway, as the season progresses, we get introduced to George who Merlin definitely knows as he's practically running Camelot behind the scenes, but this shows Arthurs reluctance to get a new servant. Merlin in his position serves as a confidant, a friend, and an advisor. He doesn't want him replaced. 

It's not without problems, sure, but it wouldn't be interesting if it was. The end of the season however, throws the nearly-invisible-now imbalance into Merlin's favour as he strips Arthur of his 'will', this doesn't last however. Yet, the ending of the season also further strengthens Merlin's resolve to never tell Arthur because if there is one thing obvious, Arthur hates being betrayed and secrets, and the subterfuge Merlin used to conceal his magic would easily be seen as a betrayal, something Agravaine tells the audience in their confrontation. 

With Season 5, the first thing we should note is the existing time gap between S4 and S5 that is the time of mystery and when anything under the sun could have happened as we generaly have no bloody idea outside of Kidnapped!Morgana. But, with regard to the fun dynamics going on, Merlin retains the position he was appointed to in the first episode, that of Manservant I mean, but he is also Arthurs most trusted advisor and confidant, a long way from where they began. 

But then, this season decides to do the magic reveal (at the last episode area which is very annoying but alrighty), and flips that on its head. But we'll get there in a moment. 

We see the two arguing 'like an old married couple' within the first part of the season, the iconic "Is there anything you're actually capable of doing?" / "Putting up with you", an argument that would never happen between a King and any servant (barring Merlin, who is just as wild as he was when he showed up in camelot with fists swinging, it's just been tamed into a focus now). 

There is also more of Merlin confiding in Arthur through season 5, there is understanding, there is trust, and there is, overwhelmingly, friendship. 

When the Horn of Cathbhadh arrives on the scene, we get the very interesting scenario with the apple bowl. Now, there's no reason for Arthur to need to hide something from Merlin as he enters. And yet he does, knowing that Merlin will give him that Merlin-look and he'll need to explain himself. This, of course, ends with Uther haunting Camelot, great for all involved really. 

But let's move on. 

The season also has some of the worst decisions Merlin makes, but he does make them under faulty knowledge and mistrust and paranoia, such as the Disir. Not only would his advice as an advisor be horribly biased in the episode, but he held the knowledge that 1) Mordred is the problem 2) To save Mordred you must accept magic - therefore the only conclusion is Let Mordred Die by Refusing Magic. Really bad wording on that if I'm honest, but I suppose Mordred did die when Arthur refused Magic, just not instantly. 

Eventually, we get to a heartwrenching scene "You know, Merlin, all those jokes about you being a coward, I never really meant any of them. I always thought you were the bravest man I ever met. I guess I was wrong", which is absolute bullshit. Fuck Arthur for this sentence in particular. 

The next time they truly talk in episode 13: 

"I defeated the Saxons, the dragon, and yet I knew that it was Mordred that I must stop. / The person who defeated them was the sorcerer. / That was me. / Don’t be ridiculous, Merlin. That’s stupid. Why would you say that? / I’m a sorcerer. I have magic. And I use it for you, Arthur, only for you. / Merlin, you are not a sorcerer, I would know! / Look, here ~Magic occurs~ / Leave me." 

Really, truelly, awful way to start the end of the series, but at least we finally got a magic reveal. But at the same time, the reaction would have been similar regardless. Arthur trusts people easily and completely, Merlin more than anyone else, and to learn that there was something hidden from him is taken as an instant betrayal, something that would have happened no matter when the reveal occured (Though S1-3 there's danger of execution from Uther, then Arthur never actually is seen removing the laws anyway so.... Arthur what the fuck do you want from Merlin?? When would the opportune moment ever be for this?)

Now, it's clear that Arthur still trusts Merlin after this, as he tries to get Gaius to send Merlin to Gwen. He'd never do that if that trust vanished, not to his wife and Queen. However, Gaius does turn Arthur's views, he tells him Merlin is the greatest sorcerer to walk the earth, and Arthur completely balks at the idea, after all, he knows Merlin. Maybe not completely, but you don't spend 9 years day-in and day-out at someone's side and not know them. 

Arthur reacts negatively to Merlin dispatching Saxons with a wave of his hand, because that shatters the image that Arthur had of Merlin being someone Arthur needed to protect, someone who wouldn’t/couldn’t hurt a fly, someone who was incapable of harm. [Now I swear there was a fanfic I read that had the reveal and Arthur having a "oh no I'm gay" reveal himself after that but I can't for the life of me remember it, Gaius in this was completely exhasperated like "sir, you're not enchanted, your pining"].

But, continuing on to the last moments, more or less, we also get "So you’re not an idiot, that was another lie. / No, it’s just another part of my charm." Which really is true. Merlin is still an idiot, which at this point is practically just a character trait for him. A powerful, somewhat scary idiot, but still a brave one. Still probably tripping over his own feet and dropping things. 

The last thing I wanted to touch on in Season five was Arthurs last words. "I want to say something I’ve never said to you before. Thank you." Thank you had been said multiple times, but never to the level that it needed to be. But now, Arthur knows what he was thanking him for, giving him credit for all the things Merlin sacrificed and did. [Now again, commentary on this has people suspecting Arthur says “I Love You” which is potentially debatable, but the words aren’t actually there, so we’re going with “thank you”]

From what may be Arthur’s view of the entire series (which reiterates some of the above), there are numerous times when Arthur disrespected Merlin (Sigan and the Merlin stepping stool, trusting some random family member you haven’t seen in years vs a man who has been at your side for years), but Merlin still considered Arthur his best friend. 

To Arthur, this relationship starts as Prince and Manservant (Or before that, Prince and Peasantry), but this quickly devolves because Merlin refuses to act like a Manservant. He’s a friend, stubbornly loyal, shit at obeying orders, and brave as fuck. They share secrets (somewhat common with Manservants I can imagine as Lady’s in Waiting were in a similar position and were held as being confidants to their Lord/Lady… Theoretically, this would be a Lord-in-waiting or perhaps another role, but none of this is ever mentioned in Merlin and insofar as Medieval heirarchy and households go, BBC Merlin doesn't dwell on that 'under the stairs' stuff.) Nevertheless, there is a separation of class and a known power imbalance from the get go as Master and Servant, but Arthur still saw it as more equal than he is shown to behave with the servant in the first episode. 

Arthur eventually realizes that Merlin is constantly going above and beyond what should be expected of a normal servant, especially from the view that Merlin can leave anytime.’ He is under employ of the King, but he was also working two jobs (Manservant and Physician) and Merlin could very well up and leave back to Ealdor should he choose. But in his perspective, Arthur protects Merlin, pushing him away from conflict and throwing himself ahead of Merlin to protect him (nicely moving away from Merlin’s glowing gold eyes as branches fall), then instantly looking for Merlin after the battle ends (usually scoffing about hiding despite Merlin having no armour or weapon on patrol). This part doesn’t quite change, not until the last few episodes as the above states. 

Now, in Merlin’s view of the series, that we mostly see the lens of, there are times when it feels like the reason Merlin hasn’t left Camelot was because of the Prophecy of an aged Dragon giving him the feeling of obligation to Camelot, Magical People, and Arthur’s safety. Thus, this is his destiny, he doesn’t have a choice to leave (in his way of thinking at least), and while he keeps the secrets of Arthur, there is no way for Arthur to do the same to him, because Arthur is Prince/King of a kingdom that kills people like Merlin. 

He can’t defend himself, not with magic at the very least, should Arthur physically move to hurt him. Not only would this be near treasounous, but it would have him ostracised by the Kingdom, potentially exiled if not killed and it really would hurt the attempts of promoting good magic (which the show doesnt do anyway). Also, Arthur is Merlin’s only hope at a future away from persecution, and hope is a disease that clings on. Merlin makes choices to keep Arthur alive that actively hurt the people that ‘Emrys’ should protect. So in Merlin's view, there are a lot of red flags going around that are being ignored. 

And then, the bloody idiot Prince/King goes and Risks his Life to protect Merlin. To be fair, Merlin does the same, but really, please, stop risking your life and war, you're just going to give Merlin a heart attack at some point.

One of the biggest imbalances that we get to see, from Merlin’s pov, is the secret imbalance. Arthur confides everything to Merlin, whereas Merlin’s secrets build up drastically as the seasons continue and he gets more secrets to hide. 

Tldr; Their relationship is, considering the era represented, overwhelmingly positive [if we ignore the ptsd Merlin is going to be dealing with for the next 1500 years]. There are toxic traits that exist on both sides of the men that cause imbalances in any type of relationship one would have, but there isn’t any ‘equal’ characters that would exist for them presented (Prince of Camelot to any other Prince is never shown, only princesses / and Greatest Warlock to Walk the Earth doesn’t exactly have any equals).

Just a Digimon Adventure 2020 Post about The TaiShiro Moments

I love how Taichi and Koushiro are both shown to think highly of the other. Taichi even brags about how smart koushiro is sometimes, its so wholesome.

Everytime the group gets separated, the first person Taichi tries to call is almost always Koushiro.

and in the first episode Koushiro meets up with the rest of the group in the digital world, Taichi's face immediately lights up.

Like if anything happens ever, Koushiro usually addresses Taichi right away. Between Him and Tentomon, both are the ones checking in on Koushiro and making sure he's doing okay.

Specific moments from episode 36:

"but there's only 20 minutes left"

"that's more than enough"

"we won't know unless we try right?" Taichi believing in his ability.

"but--"

"there's no time left, lets go"

"alright, I'll support you!"

Then

"Let's go, koushiro!"

"R-Right!"

Then

Koushiro, you have to do this!"

"me!? No way! I can support you, but I can't--"

"koushiro"

"I leave it to you."

"Taichi-san..."

"I'm counting on you."

AND THEN KOUSHIRO THINKING ABOUT HOW HE HAS ATLURKABUTERIMON, AND THEN SPECIFICALLY THINKS BACK TO WHAT TAICHI SAID TO HIM IN EPISODE 3 BEFORE THINKING OF EVERYONE ELSE TOO-

It was also just great to see Koushiro feeling good about his own ability- especially with this music at the end, damn.

They call eachother like, every episode to see how it's going.

Episode 59

So when they get that trial wrong, Taichi is taken, and [digimon] says he's gonna undergo surgery to become a digimon.

Taichi just smiles and says "Nah don't worry about me guys, I leave the rest to you Koushiro."

Then Koushiro blames himself for whats gonna happen to taichi.

And whiole all this is going on, we know taichi is worried about how the other is handling it right now, since he's under a lot of stress.

Bro koushiro looked so sad.

and then tentomon always believes in koushiro, always. which is exactly what he needs

SO THE ENGLISH DUB JUST CAME OUT A FEW DAYS AGO AND IVE WATCHED (at least the episode with TaiShiro moments) SOME OF IT AND I HAVE MORE THINGS TO SAY

So let’s start from the top once again

Episode 1’s script for the most part is unchanged :)

However, there is the changes to the names.

While in the original Tai was just ‘Tai’, this time his full name is Taichi, and Tai is just a nickname. His last name though has still been changed to Kamiya instead of Yagami.

Koushiro actually does keep his Japanese name in the English dub! But this time ‘Izzy’ is also just a nickname. Of course, he retains his last name ‘Izumi’ like he did in the original English dub.

ANYWAY ANYWAY

one of my favourite bits from episode 1, is when Koushiro is showing Taichi his timeline, and Taichi goes something like:

“Well..I’m really bad at that stuff. You’re awesome, Koushiro!”

And Kou seems surprised and caught off guard by the complement, before quickly turning his attention back to his tablet in embarrassment and saying:

“Y-You can just call me Izzy—!”

And we know later in the dub, that Koushiro prefers being alone, which also suggests he doesn’t have many friends, or doesn’t go out of his way to make any. He doesn’t really like being around people. So we can guess that before Taichi, the only people that call him Izzy are his parents.

So Koushiro giving Taichi express permission to call him Izzy, especially for Koushiro, is something special and significant, even if Taichi doesn’t know this.

I feel like i need to say... there’s something really pissing me off with the FNDM regarding the latest episodes.

I’m talking about the way many fans are siding with Ruby in such aggresive manner, antagonizing the others (specially Yang) arguing stuff like: “they should’ve noticed something was wrong with her earlier”

Guys, IT’S NOT ALWAYS THAT EASY. Specially having in mind the situation they’re in. Just think about it: they are stranded in a whole different world, which only source of information is a children’s book they dont even know if it’s actually true; while, on top of that, each one’s having to deal with their own baggage.

Weiss lost Atlas, Blake and Yang had to sort out their feelings for eachother, Jaune spent decades alone while having to deal with Penny’s death, and of course, Ruby carrying the weight of being the leader and all of their pasts defeats while she’s struggling with her identity and the big self-expectations she has as a huntress.

We, as an audience, can see the WHOLE picture, since we can see things from the characters’ perspective, but sometimes fail at focusing at a single thing at the moment.

There’s a reason why they didn’t notice something was wrong with Ruby, and that’s because, unlike the others, she’s not letting it show, bottling it all up ‘till it exploded! Unlike her, Yang and Blake let it show by their casual flirting, and Weiss expressed her burden herself. In Jaune’s case, it was SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that no wonder the others decided to put priority on that. But Ruby was not letting it show ‘till the last moment. Only Little had any clue, because she was with them when she got into the blacksmith’s workshop.

 Also how the fans are reacting towards Ruby’s behabiour towards the bees and Yang’s reaction. 

The way i see it, they both had reasonable reactions: Ruby was having a panic attack and lashed out on a “solved” problem, such as Blake and Yang’s finally confessing, she started to cross a line, Yang put her into a stop, which Ruby btw apologized for right after, because she knows that was uncalled for. Same goes to Jaune, he also knows he doesn’t really mean all what he said to Ruby, that he’s NOT okay. They’re just venting their frustrations on the other and they know it’s wrong.

I really hope that now that everything’s out they find a way to fix it for the next few episodes, to have a real heart to heart talk. Because me, as a fan, can’t really stand how FNDM works sometimes.

Hiiii bestie, I’m gonna infodump to you about come along with me and adventure time so hard right now (this is not a request, you WILL listen to me shhdhsjsjfhdh)

Sooo the intro !! I LOVE the intro, firstly it’s just really cool in general but it also has SO MANY Easter eggs and stuff that clues us in to what happened to many of the people of ooo, I just love it a lot. We see two adventurers in ooo, a familiar sight, we see a ton of familiar stuff but it’s all different in ways, (I’m gonna go into this more in a second, promise) seeing bmo surrounding by all their friends stuff is very sad in a way ? Bmo is one of the few immortal characters in the main cast and seeing them forgetting Finn’s name is just,,, sad,,, but bmo has gone through this plenty haven’t they ? We see this is the first distant lands episode ‘BMO’ although I won’t spoil it since I don’t think you’ve seen it yet.

Ofc we see Finn and Jake and everyone else,, I don’t have muchhh to say about the war stuff at least right now, 

“Nah, man, she's wrong. This is all wrong. Even if she wins now, this is never gonna end; I can feel it. It's like the whole world's going crazy, man, like we're living in, one, big...” obviously this relates to the whole war n stuff but I also feel like this connects to the whole them of this episode (and just at in general) with everything going on and on but still staying the same, Finn’s definitely gone through that type of stuff haven’t he ? Especially with the lich,,,

 “PB! He sees that you're serious! Maybe he'll back down now. Please listen to me! We've been friends for a long time” and PB getting reminded of Shoko from Finn this also 100% connects to that, they have been friends through even reincarnations, which is a long, long time (judging from the state of the candy kingdom and PBs bit more care free attitude I think the flashbacks in ‘the vault’ happen pretty early on) 

Jake is mostly just hanging out with jermaine in the nightmare realm lmao, although he did dig up Finn’s and ferns truama vault which is Important. 

Fern and Finn are dealing with their truama together in the nightmare realm, they have to work through their shared truama, and the grass demon that is connected to Fern, I loveeee analyzing fern so I’ll probably infodump to u ab him sometime if u would like lol. Finn hears PB voice again, this happens a lot in major parts of his life dosent it ? Breezy, hall of egress, and of course this episode. Fern and Finn kill the grass demon together.

PB and Gumbald are doing a fun (not fun for them tho LMAO) switch-aroo thingie, Gumbald experiences what it’s was like for PB almost get dum dum juiced and the stress that the candy kingdom puts on someone’s shoulders, while PB sees what it was like for Gumbald seeing his dream get built in front of him, ruled by PB, and fall apart without being able to do anything, it’s super intesting to me !! Especially on PBs side just seeing the stress weigh down on her from the candy kingdom (obviously this happens to gumbald in the dream but it’s switcharoo)

Now we see Finn and fern sitting on that island, although fern is now Finn again  “ I'm me again. It feels like it's been years.” This line just makes me very sad, ferns been living the last year (+?) as not himself,, (like I said I have THOUGHTS about fern I could go on sooo long ab him, but I wanna focus on CAWM rn) and now we see pb and gumbald, although when pb touches fern he starts disintegrating just like the grass demon said.

PB and gumbald apologize to eachother, but lolly trips gumbald and his dum dum juice dummifys him again, “  He never was the epiphany type. But I am willing to let bygones be bygones.” Like I said,,, things change but also stay the same,,, PB and gumabld sees what they each went through but Gumbald still stays the same, and turns into the punch bowl once again.

And now we get into the end of the world, as BMO puts it,

We get a flashback to Simon and Betty before the mushroom war and everything else, (I don’t have a ton to say about this scene but it’s very funny that Betty accidentally fucked simons eye up by throwing a jar of cherries at him)

Ice King of course does not remember Betty. But now we get the golb monsters, can I just say these monsters are sick as fuck I love them. “Obey my command! Flee for your lives! If you fight, the demon will just add you to its mass!” PB character development <3. 

Alll the main characters standing together to try and defeat golb,,, mmm it’s good it’s good, (also I find it cute that the gum ball guardians call PB mom lol) 

Ice king , king man , Finn and Jake go to try to stop Betty yippee ! Although Jake jumps off to eat (??) those birds (which leads to time adventure ofc <3<3<3) lumpygrab ! It’s cute, not a ship I think ab a ton but it’s cute. Betty seeing ice king as Simon, even if only for a moment is,,, mmmm, part of Betty’s whole thing is that, she can never except ice king as he is, maybe they could be happy if she could but, he isint Simon, he is just the ice king, and it leads her to madness trying to save her. This especially ties in with what she says right after “What... You're trying to stop me!? When I'm this close to harnessing the most powerful force in the universe and finally saving you!?” Oh and Maja fucking explodes.

Finn Betty and IK go into glob,,, Finn loses his robot arm, just as we saw at the start of the episode, it’s destined to lay there for 1000 years after the war huh ?

BUBBLINE YIPPEEEEE !! Seeing Marceline turn into the cloud form is sick as fuck btw, anyways this scene is just,, so good,, especially with just seeing how their relationship builds up again throughout the series. And how it was in the past in distant lands: obsidan.

Finn Betty and Simon reverte to their primal forms, Simon and Betty are back to normal human while Finn is the same, I also love how he does not get his arm back, since it’s been shown that not having an arm is just, his natural state, if he is in a life where he can’t have an arm, he will eventually lose it or just not have it, it’s his natural form.

Jake goes to fight those dudes for Finn,,, god this scene man.,, the treehouse is crushed by the golb monster and Jake just can’t handle it,,, seeing the place that he and Finn and bmo lived since they were young completely destroyed crushes him, BMO finds him of course “It's okay, Jake. You always try to protect me and Finn. But sometimes we are going to get hurt. How about today, you let me be the papa?” God man I’m just thinking about this,,, Jake has always been dadding for Finn  and bmo throughout the series, of course they had their parents but Finn was only 12 at the start of the series and we know their parents died before the start of the series, Jake has been taking care of those 2 for so long, in the treehouse that they lived in for so long,,,

And of course,,, time adventure,,, MAN

I think time adventure captures exactly what adventure time is about along with ‘come along with me’ and ‘everything stays’ 

Everything will happen again and again,,, the cycle of life and death goes on, everything stays but it still changes,,, just like 5e futures,,, 1000+ ooo is so different and yet, we have our 2 young adventurers still going off and exploring ooo,,, change is what adventure time is all about imo,,,, 

And everyone singing together to defeat glob,, it’s just so good,,,, having everyone working together to defeat glob and save Finn and Betty and Simon, many of these characters have had strained relationships in the past and yet they still all join together,, they’ve all changed throughout the series leading to this moment,,, god,,

“I always figured I'd go out saving somebody.” This line by Finn always gets me, because, of course he would think that, he is a hero, of course he would want to go out saving someone, doing what he does best, and also this line is just so sad since,,, Finn genuinely thinks he is gonna die here yknow ? He has stared death in the face many times but few times has he genuinely thought that he was gonna die,,,,

Betty makes the ultimate sacrifice, she can’t make up for what she did as magic Betty, she does feel guilty for what she has done,”I’m sorry for messing everything up” , so she wishes to banish glob, eventually fusing with it to keep Simon and the rest of everyone,

And then Fern,,, he finally got to be the hero,, just like he was when he was Finn,, and all he ever wanted was his identity and family and friends back to be honest, something that makes me sad is just,, how calm fern sounds when he is dying,,, I can’t explain but it’s just,,, yeah,, he asks Finn to promise to plant him there,, of course he wo.uld want to be planted there, it’s the place where he grew up with Jake, his best brother and friend, and even if he dosent get to be Finn again he would at least like to be connected to the place that meant so much to him.

Finn and Jake plant the fern seed at the remains of the treehouse, which, you know, it’s a lot like what happened with Shoko, it’s changes but still stays the same huh ? Finn and PB just being friends is soooo sweet I just love themm a lot.

And so Shermy and Beth go off to find that Fern Tree they heard in the story. While Finn and Jake far in the past from those two, sit next to the music hole, as she starts singing come along with me,, the iconic ending song as we see how everyone lives went on after everything, the cycle of life and death and change continues. Even after all of that characters still live their life, similar to before but not excatly the same.

And at the very end,, we see those two adventurers climb the fern tree, shermy pulls out the Finn sword and holds it up high, ending the final episode on the same iconic pose at the start of every single episode, 

and like I’ve said over this whole rant,, it changes but still stays the same, the cycle repeats again and again, never the same but still similar,  and I feel like that’s the whole point of adventure time, it’s about change, everything changes so much from the start to the end, we see these characters grow up and change, we see them die and reincarnate, not the same, but similar, ooo and everyone in it goes on and on,  and yes, someday golb and the lich will succeed at their goals, bringing death to everyone, but why not fight for it ? Yes it will happen eventually, someday some Finn and Jake reincarnations will not be able to kill the lich, but they still have all their friends and family and everyone, so why shouldn’t they try ? They could just give up since it’s inevitable but also, they have so much to fight for, everybody who cares about them, even if it’s just the two of them, Finn and Jake, they will always have eachother, and isint that enough to fight for ?

Adventure time just means so much to me in a way I can’t describe, its part of me, and I don’t think even amphibia (which I love so much) reaches the same connection adventure time has with me, it’s just so important to me, it’s such an inherent part of me that I can’t imagine who I would be without it to be honest, where would I have ended up without this show ? I don’t know, but I did find this show and I love it so much that words can’t describe it. Obviously you don’t have to respond to this rant, but it would mean a lot to mean to just, talk about what I talked about here with you, (but no worries about making it as long as this,), I just want to share my love of this show with you, and even you just watching it makes me so so happy. So yknow, thank you for being my friend and watching stuff I like, I appreciate you a lot.

the intro is so cool! when i watched it i meant to go back and look at it again and especially look at bmos little house to try and spot a couple little easter eggs because it looks So Full of them.the main things i noticed was i think bmo had the helmet that glob and his brothers or whatever had that stuck out and also the fact that they called themselves the King of Ooo. i hope bmo is okay living up there all by themselves its played for a joke but the fact that they Have forgotten Finn's name is so hhhhhh. (is it specified how log its been? because if its been like a Long Long time its both more and less sad i think) that one episode after elementals with Marceline and bmo gived me hope that for however long they end up living bmo wont be completely alone, their friendship with Marcy was so nice in that episode i hope it lasts.

i am so interested in the whole thing of adventire time being a show about things constantly changing and yet staying the same. it seems like Such a clever way to encorporate that shift from an episodic adventure of the week sort of show it was at the start to the more serialised show with big character moments and over arcing plotlines it became a bit later on. it also kinda juat makes me think about Everything Stays again which you know. yeah

man finn and fern having to deal with their shared trauma together is so ! the bit when theyre fighting and Fern is like "im tormented!" and finn goes "im also that sometimes!" just something about that little interaction gets me theyre both so sinsere and like. i cant find the sords for what im trying to say augh. you get what im trying to say hopefully

oooo the switchy scene!! that was so cool i was really intreuged by them swapping places and getting to experince what it all was like from the other side. it could have made it so easy for them both to come to a peaceful conclusion at the end now that they first hand know what the other went thru and can epathise with eachother in a way they couldnt before. unfortunately gumbald is gumbald and screwed that over but you know you can hope. Bonnie did tho, she saw that she was wrong and she was willing to admit it which is a Huge growth for her character from the start of the show.

the scene of finn and fern on that island is so nice. its so peaceful but also very like, cathatrtic i think is the word for it? the two of them finally getting a chance to just sit there and Be for a moment after all that theyve been thru. its nice

bubbline kiss my beloved. its such a sweet scene and Marcy just Losing Her Entire Shit and turining into the sheep cloud thing because she think Bonnie is dead,,,,,,,

TIME ADVENTURE TIME ADVENTURE TIME ADVENTURE-

something about the power of music bringing everyone together to make one final stand to save the world and it Working is so important to me. i love music so much as an artform, as a method of self experssion, as a tool to bring people together, and Adventure Time does such a good job doing those ideas justice, its big proper songs are so meaningful and powerful and even the littler ones and the fact that so many characters will just Start Singing, just whenever for the sake of it for no other reason than they feel like it. its so good man

"i always figured id go out saving someone" and then Simon Immidiately jumping in to try to comfort him. they all think theyre gonna die, they all know theyre not gonna make it out this time. so in the face of all hopelessness Simon still tries to comfort this kid and like. i dunno Simon straight away jumping to try to comfort FInn even tho really he has No Idea who tf this kid is man

im glad Fern got to be planted outside the treehouse. he sounds so resigned while hes dying, he knows hes going and hes accepted it, a much nicer ending than he had the first time, and now he gets to be forever immorialised and in some kind of irony manages to outlive everyone else through his tree

i think i get what you mean. i think Adventure Time is to you a lot of what Steven Universe is to me. i started watching SU when i was about 8 and it was a Huge part of my life basically until i ended. i used to rewatch peridot episodes when i was sad, i would sings the songs to myself to pass the time, i would think about theories while walking. so many of my memories are full of steven universe, i legitimately feel like if an alternate version of me existed who had never seen an episode of SU, i would be unrecogniseable to myself. that show means so much to me and i watched it at such an influential age it has had ramifications and left marks on me i dont think i could ever begin to find them all. its… fundementally shaped me as a person, my opinions on things, my morals, so much of Who I Am. so if Adventure Time is to you even slightly what Steven Universe is to me, then i get it. stories have such a power to effect people, we rely on them to learn about the world and the stores we hear or have avalible to us effect us in so many different ways. its incredible really

thank you for being My friend, if it hadnt of been for you i probably wouldnt have sat down and watched adventure time like this, maybe ever, and i only really did it at the start because i wanted to engage in something that clearly means so much to one of my friends, and im so glad i did so thank you it was so much fun
