The subject came up today and I can't decide so I'm throwing it out there because I don't give a fuck and also having survived all of this kinda makes me sound like a badass
#my life sounds exciting here but between the exciting parts it's really quite boring#ages:#8. 9. 10? 16. 17. 18. 21 I think. 23. 27. still living#near death experience#also it may have been category one but Wikipedia described Isaias as devastating so there#i want to say it was the dogs because even as scary as the too-close tornado was I really felt like I was staring down death that moment#but also is that fair in the face of everything else I've survived?#fuck it why not set it for a week I'm curious about what other people think of my life#also that tornado was less than a block away but mostly stayed in the soy field. ripped off some of the roofing of the house tho#it was either EF0 or EF1 I forget but obvs I didn't know that while hunkering down#turns out tornadoes really DO sound like trains and the air gets a bit thin#or maybe I was just panicking lol#also when my heart nearly stopped I was forced to watch while unable to speak as they readied the shock paddles which. uh. wow#luckily (?) my heart shot back up to two hundred plus beats per minute#but I lived bitches. thru everything#mecore#i don't feel awkward asking about this bc I'm p sure I've talked about all of these at various points here

Another batch of cookies, this time mini coffee chocolate chip ones, that I made for my brother and his girlfriend :)

#<- had to deep clean its bedroom and decided to take a 20 minutes power nap that became a 3 hours existential crisis depression time#everything is laying around on the floor and for the life of me i cannot get up from bed to clean it up#i found a bunch of boxes filled with stuff from when i was suicidal in highschool and it hurts too much to look at it#but i cannot bring myself to throw them away bcs these are the only things i have that certify that i was Alive at that time#ive no photos of me no nothing apart from these notebooks filled with gore drawings and fanfiction about characters killing themselves lol#how do i make peace with who i used to be when that person brings me such sadness....#im so sorry ivan i should have treated myself better im doing my best nowadays !!!#u get to turn 18 ! and 20 ! and 25 ! and soon we're turning 26 and youre so much happier and content in life#its not all good u still are depressed and cant talk to people but ure much better than u used to be#i think of teenager me and how he thought i wouldnt make it this far... and when i think about my future and how i wont be able to make it.#i think... actually i was wrong once and i figured things out#i think i can do it again....#and i will !!!! by all gods that i dont believe in i will !!#vanya strawberry flavored

marriage is so far from a thing I'd ever willingly do that im still confused by the fact that its real HOWEVER I recognize 2 things:
1. the legal rights granted to a partner thru marriage are important even tho its INSANE to me that we just kinda seemed to have accepted thats how it is instead of granting similar rights to people of your choice who you aren't expected to fuck or adopt
2. the comedic value of saying "my wife"? un FUCKING paralleled my guys

I try not to bitch about motherhood on here because, blah blah target demographic, blah blah I made this choice, but holy shit. Toddler is going through a sleep regression right now and spends all waking hours literally clinging to me so I have ONE HOUR daily to myself and then my husband wants my attention.
I need to run away for a weekend. I’m going to explode.
