The Monk and the Gun was such a fantastic film, and I really do think everyone should see it. The comedic timing was amazing, the shots were absolute perfection, and everyone in it was fantastic. There were no parts that let me down, it only kept getting better and better. Go see it if you can!! (I know I sound like I'm forty but I do not care!! Watch this piece of art!! Ingest it!!)
I honestly cannot remember a year that has opened with such an abundance of riches from around the world. Mostly International Films and Documentaries.
The Monk and the Gun Review- This is What Filmmaking Is All About
Bhutan is a small landlocked country between Taiwan and India. They are relatively new to technology and only recently have opened their borders to outsiders. A couple of years ago they had their first submission which resulted in an Academy Award nomination for Best International Feature. That film was called Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom. It was a cute little film but now they have another…
So anyway more headcanon time :) kuzon was a firebender and was just barely old enough to get drafted for the beginning of the war <3 he hadn’t seen aang in a while as his parents forbade him from talking to the airbender and thus didn’t know he was the avatar :D but when he found out the armys mission he pulled strings to get assigned to the ambush force on the southern temple :0 in the chaos of the battle and the comet he tried to find aang to keep him safe but only found the months-old letter that gyatso had left in aangs room <3 this led him to the monk that aang had talked about before but only found him just in time to blend in with the rest of the soldiers attacking gyatso :) who was trying to protect a group of kids and as a last-ditch effort sucked all the air out of the room :0 killing himself and every soldier in there :D including the young man who aang had talked so highly of but he’d never gotten the pleasure to meet <3
i have never played rain world here are my interpretations of the beings known as "scugs" based solely on whatever fanart i've already seen and what i've heard about them. so not based off of very much
i have a disease called "need to make builds for my favs in whatever ttrpg i can". thankfully with prior favs this was extremely easy due to 5e being piss easy to build in and them having fairly basic skillsets. thank god i have found other ttrpgs to love (please for the love of christ talk to me about lancer its so fucking good) and now the buildcrafting process more fun but more challenging as well. as if this wasnt enough, uh. axl 1. can cast magic at will 2. but is primarily a melee* combatant 3. (not really) 4. has time travel magic.
due to my insanities i am still attempting to build this out. i have accepted i cant just take the fast and easy route via 5e because even WITHOUT the time magic this build is a fucking multiclass monstrosity + his weapon is two-handed and 5e doesnt like it when casters wield those.
but i HAVE discovered its very possible to build him in lancer ;)
