unpopular opinion but i'm gonna admit that I don't quite get the need for ffxiv to treat you as the hero of All Time every time all day. like you can say you're the savior of the star over and over and people will either fall down at your feet groveling or treat you like a common sellsword and the game makes no intention of deciding which it's going to be at any point in time, that's just how it's always been. not only that you're not the sole hero (even though you can act like it) when the credit goes to your party members that help so it doesn't make sense to be the sole superhuman chosen one because you didn't do it alone, ever. it's not even a central conceit, you literally need others to beat the game, and it's a little strange that it acts as if it were done solo. I like the idea of the WoL as a savior, but it feels much more downplayed in the game than how it's made out to be sometimes

2. What gift would your character give to someone they didn't like but felt obligated to?
Okay. So like, Minthe would figure out someone's favorite food or something but make it to her exact tastes. Like, if the person was known to like coffee or something, Minthe would give them her exact blend. Which may or may not come across as petty, but if she likes the receiver she tries to make things to their taste rather than her own.
Thanks for the ask!

the world unsundered--soulline
When you find out that your 'familiar' bit the researchers who were trying to get her to participate in the 'enrichment exercise' experiment (The Shifting Gymnasion Agonon)
Junia and Lucis. Junia was Lucis's younger sister, adopted from when she was a infant (or newling creation--we don't know how these guys came to be and I prefer to err on the side of caution). There was no other family save for them. Lucis supported his baby sister in all her endeavors, even becoming one of her battle-sworn allies when Junia rose to the Fourteenth Seat of the Convocation.
Diomedes and Chiron: Twins that Junia would meet on her travels. Diomedes was a tactician, while Chiron was a gifted healer. Of the two, Diomedes was more outspoken, while Chiron was shy.
Hector: Another warrior Junia met on one of her adventures. Hector was peerless in martial combat, his propensity for violence second only to Junia's own.
As of current time, Augustine and the others are unaware of their own ancestry. During the events of Shadowbringers Emet did focus the majority of his attention on Riven, but kept an eye on the others as well--recognizing their own soul-colors.

It's nice that there's subtle changes when you pick different dialogue options now, faint as they are. Compared to telling Themis that "we need you," as opposed to "you must pass judgment on Athena", the former elicits a warm smile from him. The latter however, does not, as it ignores their bond to go straight to business (a bit like Lahabrea's reactions).
I was surprised at the minor difference especially doing so on Nya given that he's usually quite warm and affectionate, but I like the thought that he's developed into a bit of devout dutifulness after experiencing so much grief emotionally and chosen to accept that above falling into despair. The framing here felt very holy as well- what a sight for Elidibus.
Something also tells me this change of his was brought about because something in him remembered Lahabrea.
