Me, a fool of a writer: I must buy for myself a spiffy drink to enjoy before I write, as a treat.
Me:*buys drink*
Me, many hours later with nothing written: I'm so surprised this strategy didn't work for the 89th day in a row!

merlin being hit with a truth spell or potion or whatever and being so stressed that he’s gonna reveal his magic to arthur only to find that he can’t insult or tease arthur anymore bc every time arthur instigates their banter, merlin starts to go on and on about how arthur makes him so happy and the love he feels for him is immeasurable and how he’d burn the world just to keep him warm

Local Alchemist needed to be stopped.
My formula of restore fatigue:
Spring salad: lettuce, radish, potato, (optional: apple, orange, watermelon). Unfortunately it has Burden side effect. (if choose orange, you'll get a bonus Shield effect)
Can also side with Ranch dressing: cheese wedge, leek, onion, garlic. And this one has Damage Agility side effect. It can be fix by removing the garlic.
Potato soup: potato, garlic, leek. This recipe has Frost Shield side effect. Perfect choice for a cold weather.
Corn salsa: corn, tomato, onion, garlic. Unfortunately it has Damage Agility side effect, but you can get Detect Life in the process.
Grilled cheese sandwich: bread loaf, cheese wedge, cheese wheel. Unfortunately it has Damage Agility side effect. I should have removed the cheese wedge. Sorry Baurus :(
Classic ham sandwich: bread loaf, cheese wedge, ham, lettuce. Unfortunately this recipe also has Damage Agility side effect, but bonus Fire Shield woohoo!
Gyudon: beef, onion, rice
Mix berries: blackberry, strawberry, (we only have two kinds of berries?) (optional: apple, orange, pear). Actually, don't put apple or pear in it. They will cause Damage Health.
Crabby corn soup: crab, corn, onion. You can add cheese wedge for bonus Fire Shield (and Damage Agility) effect.
Chili con carne: beef (/boar meat /mutton /venison), onion, garlic, tomato. Side effect is Detect Life. (Beef flavor will grant you Shield effect. Unfortunately Boar meat will have burden side effect and Venison is Damage Health)
Pumpkin pie: pumpkin, sweetcake (/flour /sweetroll). Unfortunately both flour and sweetroll has Damage Personality side effect
Carrot cake: carrot, sweet cakes
Strawberry cheesecake: strawberry, cheese wedge, flour (/sweetcake /sweetroll). The flour version has Reflect Damage side effect. I highly recommend it.

...Okay, stay with me on this. I'm having a Thought.
What if! James H. Bond, the infamous 007, gets dosed with love potion!
(No, I don't know how/why there is love potion in his vicinity. But it's the Bondverse. It doesn't have to make sense!)
Let's say some supervillain is trying to dose Bond with love potion to make him fall in love with them/their offspring/their henchperson/ whatever. For purposes of manipulation! The potion is supposed to kick in after a certain period and Bond is supposed to fall in love with whomever he sees first.
But!! Q accidentally foils these plans by being the first person Bond sees, instead of the villain!
And Bond sees Q and he's like, "Ah, there he is, the light of my life, my beloved, the man who is far too good for me, whose very shoes I am not fit to wipe. I adore him. I am going to pester him so much so I can get all his attention for myself ASAP!"
Except. This is Bond's normal thought process when he's around Q. So he notices no difference.
And then, three weeks later, Q-branch finally uncovers the villain's notes and figures out that Bond was dosed with love potion and forced into a sudden and mysterious infatuation with Q! And then everyone is demanding to know why Bond didn't say anything about all these weird feelings he must've suddenly been having!
And Bond is like, "...I didn't say anything because...I was still conducting my own investigation about what had happened? I was playing my cards close to my vest! I didn't want to give any indication that I was compromised until I knew who was to blame! Just spy things!!!"
And most of MI6 (including Q) is like, "Of course! Perfectly legitimate approach. Well done, 007. Carry on with your usual daily business while we figure out an antidote!!"
Except Moneypenny is squinting at Bond like, "...You didn't notice any difference, did you?"
And Bond is just like 🙃🙃🙃

Y'know I've been thinking about that part of The Mansions of the Gods where Obelix passes out from malnutrition a lot recently and like.
I'm glad they finally kind of addressed what I've theorized for years: Obelix eats more because he literally has to.
Powerlifters and strongman have to maintain extremely high caloric intakes to maintain their size and strength and to match the output of energy they use to lift crazy amounts of weight.
Now the biggest difference here is obviously that Obelix fell into the magic potion as a child and can do far more than even the world's most impressive athletes could.
However, then I would raise you the fact that he lifts menhirs. Giant, solid stones weighing at bare minimum 3 tons.
That and the fact that it's well established that the potion does not grant invincibility, only a super strong musculature to assist in physical tasks (such as running, fighting, etc).
So the potion wouldn't negate the energy Obelix is exerting, but actually increase the amount of energy he would have to consume to continuously match the insane amount of energy he's using in his day to day life.

I feel like there is a decent chance that Bad isn't making the soul steal potions, but could instead be consuming the soul vulture hearts directly. He has made several comments about his colour change possibly being because of something he ate, and we haven't seen the potion at all I don't think even though Bad is carrying around soul hearts...
Being attacked by them, possibly consuming them or the potion, along with his physical changes... How cool would it be if qBad was trying to change himself so that he gained the soul steal buff as a natural trait, and the admins gave him the soul steal effect by default, if only a while... *^*
