#you people are becoming my guinea pigs for my finally learning how to communicate information via comics. a thing ive needed to practice at #also BLEGH. YUCK. andrew hussie was right candy makes you sick. this is a little too saccharine for me. yeesh. let me get back to the meat.#isat #isat spoilers #in stars and time #in stars and time spoilers #isat fanart #in stars and time fanart #isat siffrin #isat loop #sifloop #doodlebyte #'let me get back to the meat' i say eyeing something similarly sickly in my sketches. at least it's mildly tormented as a counterbalance...#you people have no idea how much im having to stay my own hand. oh i can draw miserable nudity but the most basic of fluff? visceral #anyway i dont know the logistics of picking up a glass eye or where loop got money (besides pilfering from siffrin) & ive previously drawn #sif with a vague blank middle-grey eye as either being scarred over or a blank occular prosthesis put in quickly at the nearest town #i dont know that they'd have a glass eye during the game but considering prosthesis are reccomended to keep the skull etc from deforming #id imagine it would probably come up postgame as something to do now theyre not on a time limit trying to save the country #plus i assume that having it gouged at by a sadness wasnt exactly a clean wound by any measure #all this to say. idk i just wanted to get some information across in comic form to Test my Abilities #and we're far enough down now to say my absolute most wretchingly sweet fluff headcanon that actually inspired this #which is that i think siffrin gets into the habit of not wearing the eyepatch around loop so they kinda match.#and as a signifier to the other that they're letting their guard down around them. vulnerability etc.#just kinda wearing it around their neck so they don't lose it

#Alastor #hazbin hotel #we know he got shot in the head by a hunter and that’s how he died #and that that’s prob tied to why he’s a deer demon #and radio dial eyes is obv because of his ties to being a radio host in life and now in death #but do we know anything about the stitches and broken neck #in a lot of scenes we see him twist his neck violently #and in his demons forms it’s always crooked #did his neck get snapped during or after he was shot?#I guarantee you that if we ever get a scene where Alston’s neck is bare it will have a fucked up scar or something #I’ve heard theories that the stitches on his mouth could be tied to his constant smile #either that his smile is such an important feature that it became permanent in death #or that whoever he made a deal with made it so he’s not able to actually talk about it #could be both even because in some scenes there’s only stitches in the corner of his mouth and in the deal scene they’re all the way across #personally the stitches in combo with the deer form and the fact he was killed by a hunter makes my mind go to taxidermy #it kind of looks like he was stuffed and stitched up #I’ve also seen people compare his stiches to those voodoo dolls #but I dont know enough about them to make any kind of comparison

The thing about it is, Pony doesn’t escape unscathed. There’s a lot of talk of his growing his hair back out and cutting the bleach and that is a big aspect but it’s not the only thing that lasts from the ordeal. I think people tend to forget because it wasn’t as life threatening that he got hurt too.

He still has the scar on his neck and chin from when he was jumped coming home from the movies. The fire did leave a bunch of more minor burns along his back, some bruising. It’d still be sensitive and need time… it’d leave a tuff scar at least.

Not to mention non visible injuries… now he was treated for smoke inhalation, but then comes his confusion. And ? I’m calling it a ‘mysterious illness’ but it’s probably combination confusion, shock, exhaustion. Which left him bedridden for weeks split between the hospital and longer at home.

It’s so much deeper than his hair, this boy had full on emotional/personality changes from a head injury and shock. And while his original personality shines though in the end there’s… so much more he’s left with than just hair. But you could also argue this makes him growing his hair back and cutting out the peroxide even more symbolic of himself sort of returning, even if a little.

Posting meta again but not the 37 different ones I have in my drafts but the new ideas that pop into my head. Help me.
